Pokemon HeartGold but I can Only use SHINIES

i randomized pokemon heart gold and increased the shiny odds and today i'm gonna see if i can beat a randomized nuzlocke of heartgold using only shiny pokemon everything that's random the rules i'm using and some other stuff too is on screen now as well as down in the description so you can check that out down there if you're interested but without further ado let's get into the run we kick off the run and check out our starter choices we end up having the choice of a miss magus magneton or a celio each of these options have pretty killer shinies so of course we would be happy with any of them but i was personally hoping for a shiny magneton because you know i love the steel type and it's shiny is awesome in this game anyway at this point we begin soft resetting the game until this happens myself and i was like oh oh oh we got it we got it that was fast yeah and you know hopefully that's a sign of good things to come for this run at this point we've run a quick errand that side note we definitely did not volunteer for for the professor then on our way back we run into our rival who we have our first battle against it seems that our nemesis here managed to steal a boring pleb magneton from the lab which does have a type advantage on us so we power up now with our trainer strength fully maxed out our chunky seal is able to overcome the odds and take out this magneton with our rival dispatched we head back to the lab to pick up the pieces after the tragic robbery and also get some pokeballs then we head back out to the early routes to survey our options for our next team member eventually we decide route 29 has the best option so we get to work looking for a potential shiny then it's not too long before this happens this has been like oh there it is we got it we got it we got it we got it we got it we got the shiny whisk cache which is uh it's cool it's pretty cool it's pretty cool i like it i like it i'm kind of hyped about it i'm kind of hyped about it from here we continue forward and have a few nice easy battles with our new friend cash money and eventually we arrive in violet city we check out some of the surrounding areas to see if we can snag a quick shiny oh there are oh my goodness if we had a master ball i'd be going for a shiny legendary but we don't no luck there so we begin making our way up the sprout tower oh uh-oh at least we have a everyone should die to that yep wait that was all he only has two pokemon oh i thought he had three now with the gym defeated we make our way south out of town where we have a curious encounter oh my goodness that's who this guy is i guess with the pokemon god slain we head through the union cave then start hunting for our next shiny on route 33 and there were some really cool shiny options on this route but before long this happens yeah that's what you meant yeah oh we got a shiny munchlax at least it's dupe's claws for the cave but unlucky with the shiny munchlax on like the third encounter hopefully we can catch it i don't know man what are we naming it skinny yeah it's funny because it's fat yeah i like skinny much like it's more like aslax like aslax with our new uh below average shiny on the team we hear about some trouble that team rocket is stirring up in the old slowpoke well so we team up with this old guy then head down into the well to investigate wait hold on this slow bro looks ridiculous after battling our way through the cave we power up then head in to take on the team rocket leader the cruelest guy in team rocket whoever it is a webster whoever it is he's mean he's certainly mean are their levels so low i don't actually know why their levels are so low because the gym leader should be pretty high level here i think because we've just fought some legendaries and stuff and like fully evolved pokemon we've just gotten a lot of uh experience you know big damn big damage from the graveler see it's level 12 but that that like that first pokemon was level six right weird the biggest bummer about this is that i can't get a slow poke in here after successfully saving the slow pokes by defeating team rocket we have a quick battle with the gym leader bugsy he doesn't know what he's done by just adding snow warning uh i kind of like tickling it but i also kind of just like killing it cash money tickling relu imagine uh scarm peck is fine okay if it had a steel move that would be a little bit of a problem but whatever yeah games without speed up is is is terrible can can can confirm is terrible and now with bugsy out of the way we make our way into the ilux forest to head to the next town and hopefully catch another shiny along the way unfortunately on our way into the forest we hit a little snag the following is an announcement from our way out of town we pass through the national park and some other routes then find a nice quiet spot to settle into our next shiny hunt oh what's this groudon oh shiny groudon is cool isn't it oh it's not cool it's it's p yellow oh articuno shiny probably trash though as you can see there were some pretty sweet options on the route that we chose but ultimately you end up with what the game wants you to have and after some time spent trolling through the tall grass this happens oh finally finally it's a bell sprout but but we'll take it finally i do like bellsprout what is shiny victory bell is pretty sweet right please fit oh it fits perfectly it's like they i think they designed the pokemon nickname system to to allow for throat goat to be with our newest friend on the team we make our way to equity city where we heard about some strange pokemon in some burned tower and guess what we get ambushed by our rival yet again oh yep okay don't i didn't even need to say it there's no way we hit it we hurt ourselves right yeah for sure called it yeah yeah three times in a row can we can we get a fourth though can we get a fourth oh boy can we oh what about five maybe maybe a full way to olivine city where we battle our way to the top of the lighthouse only to discover that the sweet ampharos who runs the place has come down with some kind of illness and the gym leader refuses to battle anyone until it's cured for some reason she decides not to take it to the local pokemon center which by the way literally cures everything that could possibly be wrong with the pokemon in just a few seconds yeah rather than taking it there she makes us surf all the way across the ocean to sandwood city to get some silly herbal cure so we do that we pick up the cure then after battling this guy who wears a cape and being haunted by a few troubling memories like could we vitamin it to get it to be a hitmon top oh we got a much shiny munchlax i can't catch it because it's a dupe but god damn it he looks just like skinny he looks just like skinny oh not again i can't i can't think about him every time i see a munchlax [Music] we decide to take on the gym while we're in town what's this guy's deal what's his name scarlett okay we're inviting the gym leader scarlett who's ripped anirath wow we're under-leveled it seems that's unfortunate but we have a good match up here which is nice what's his ace like level 32 or something this is gonna be a problem together okay good it's a bad pokemon good good good good good good good i mean normally it would be stressful but this is not stressful and not attacking together i'm gonna go fat man taking your time opportunity yeah there you go all right that was an easy w thank goodness for bad pokemon it would be really unfortunate if we rolled into like a level 31 i don't know dialga or palkia or something that would have been really really bad for us then we head back to deliver the medicine and now with anthy cured we train up a bit then head in to challenge the gym leader jasmine hopefully she doesn't have just like rayquaza and uh groudon into kyogre wayne uh-oh watch out for wayne gulpin what i don't know wait it didn't die oh magnitude 10. shaky screen hope nobody's motion second chat i'll tell you after this gym fight is that a crit that did what 28 damage wait we could die to that next turn are you kidding me uh that's a bit of a problem you know but you know live dangerously i guess ingrained okay good how do you describe your chat history uh based i don't know describe it as uh cringe you're cringe damn it the old reversal pillow swine okay we're good yeah oh take yake down ow ow that was that a critter no it did this with the old yake down oh it's level 35 that makes sense why that did so much damage uh no i think we played that with actually zero risk that whole fight i don't think we were ever in danger of losing a pokemon there with yet another gym defeated we head on our way to mahogany town and on our way there we scout the routes out for our next shiny and find some very eligible encounters i think we might just have to go buy some ultra balls and and pray because it's not that high a level it's level 16 what moves would it have does it have at level 16 this is kind of hype this would be kind of hype oh more on that later at this point we catch wind about some more trouble that team rocket is causing up at the lake of rage so we head up to investigate and also get our free shiny encounter as well all right gyarados it's time i'll catch it i'll catch it oh it's it's a shiny shell [ __ ] oh no way martin's back baby oh i want to put him in a cherish ball it's destiny it's just meant to be this sweet sweet boy beautiful martin i can't believe it was the red gyarados of all things that was martin yup that's right baby martin's back and better than ever turns out this sunny boy has the ability drought and access to a plethora of fire moves which basically makes it competitive viable blaze kick is huge oh big foot this move should actually be banned in my stream i think that's just it's just the outline of a foot from here we team up with the champion lance and head in to investigate the strange radio signals that have been beaming out of the local radio station and turns out there's a big ass evil hideout below the entire town and surrounding area who would have thought huh i did think it was weird all those people in team rocket outfits kept going into the radio station anyway we make our way through the base and team up with lance for a final battle against some rocket admin person or something who we obviously dispatch with ease oh double battle uh oh magnum doe duo you kind of hate to see it that's a little bit of an annoying combo does that hit our uh ally too yeah it does they started that in this gen i guess level 40 corsola imagine this should level us god i'm nice oh del caddy is at least it's low enough level that we outspeed it but boy is that annoying big dammy from the inch bar though oh yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah then we deactivate the power or something and with team rocket dealt with for the time being at least we're free to head in and take on the next gym leader price i love this gym i actually really i normally hate ice puzzles but i actually love this gym it's time to fight whatever this gym leader's name normally is gym number seven baby mia mia smoocham is a great lead against us right now probably only one hyper potion but we'll see you never know with these things if it's a special attacker that comes in okay hit them on top yeah we definitely want to swap on this different from how they were before that's awesome that's awesome happy turoko 33 nice almost of that razor leaf baby apini all right one more come on baby come on can we get five out of six all right never mind that's four out of six i'm you know what i'm gonna start i'm gonna start collecting data to calculate the actual odds because i don't believe i guess it's 50 in this jan isn't it so i do believe i do believe solar beam tm though now with the gym defeated we backtrack to begin our most dangerous shiny hunt to date okay so i'm gonna say six more one that's one two and then the seventh seventh is shiny three oh oh yes oh it wasn't it wasn't on time it was early it was early which is better than nothing let's blackthorne city then we head south to start looking for another team member then this happens dude there's a lot of good chinese on this route uh sun's not really that good for most of our team so i actually wouldn't even be mad about that oh shiny chalice oh okay out of all the things we've talked about this is the one that we talked about the least but i'm still not mad about it yeah you can look at his goofy little face he's he's really happy to be here he's definitely really happy to be here slime and before heading into challenge the gym we train the team up a bit and get some new evolutions all right we got our we got a new shiny on the team his name is scully and he's a dust glops and he will grab your girl so watch yourself oh new member of the team let's go slime you know it's shiny it certainly is shiny at this point we get fed up with grinding so we head in to take on some of the trainers in the gym this is the the biggest workplace hazard i've uh seen in pokemon to date other than i think the most dangerous gym is actually the dragon type gym in black and white having open magma is pretty terrible though cyndaquil imagine sudowoodo okay blocked me in wait what region but for some reason claire decides that us winning the battle isn't quite good enough to get the gym badge so she forces us to head into the dragon's den to pass an insanely tough quiz before she finally lets us have the gym badge and a questionable tm yeah the rising badge the rising bear what's up claire give me that tm probably random though it is random dragon pulse some kind of energy is that what she just said she doesn't she she's like you know what it is it's a pulsing throbbing energy okay it's like i won't explain it to you but it's pulsing and throbbing now that we have all the badges of the region we take out the kimono girls then head up to the top of this tower to summon the legendary pokemon oh it's fiona oh that's the worst one oh okay yeah we were maybe going to reset for a shiny legendary here but as you can see this shiny is absolutely not worth our time and now at this point the only thing standing between us and the elite four are couple routes and victory road so we rest up what are all these beds good night then make our way through victory road only to be challenged a final time by our rival on our way out oh here it is uh oh rival fight he's gonna crush us harry's gonna give us that work huh throw that ass in a circle reggie gigas got him he tran wait what could he tran possibly have that was threat that would be threatening to us i don't really want to stay in to find out because i got screeched dead nice i don't even know what reggie giggs's ability is oh it's tangled feet dead dead dedge nice yeah done dunsky rival dead elite four arrived at yes that is correct quinn of the past but there's just one thing that you're forgetting about we only have five pokemon left and after remembering that we commence a truly epic hunt to get literally any shiny to fill in that last spot that's this is agony it's agony to see that oh no oh it's a duplicate shiny shallows okay maybe not any shiny any shiny that we don't already have and for some reason this turns out to be quite the task but eventually this happens i kinda wanna i next time i do anything where oh there it is yes we finally got her freaking shiny oh finally it's in the first few minutes of this stream it's good we're all we're all happy oh thank goodness so what are we naming this thing get your nicknames ready maybe just nuggy i don't think chicky chicken nuggy will fit i do like nuggie let me just go nuggy delicious here's our here's our epic altera evolution that's hype i do really like shiny alteria i think it looks really good now finally we're ready to head in and take on the ultimate challenge the elite four team going into the elite four we have our gentled nature dig big b we have shlime our calm natured gastrodon with attack down special defense up which is quite good with leaf guard which is all right we have nuggie our mild-natured alteria defense down special attack up it has minus which i guess is menin's ability which is fine it's it's does nothing then we have fat man who has super luck which is hype modest nature special attack up attack down pretty good um we have tinted lens uh duskol which has a bashful nature neutral and then we have reggie gig ass with a hasty nature defense down speed up tangled feet pretty freaking strong pretty freaking strong team's looking good we're just gonna go ahead and beat this random elite four easy who's it what's this guy's name will psychic type guy losing is not an option for this guy dragonite is is not really what you want to see off rip but it's not so bad today is our day in fact okay who has good special defense well i guess we have uh we have a ghost type here and pretty decent special i'm gonna i'm going here and we're faster and it's physically like not that strong oh man oh it's a crit okay i was gonna say oh baby all right fat man everything's gonna be badly poisoned we're like fully set up with oh oh oh it's just grovile it's not even not even sceptile yeah fat man easy sweep this is a keck w if i've ever seen one in my life before which i believe that i have just now wait how did it it has like an ability that gets rid of hazards that's crazy does it die to serve probably right surf mercs easy w ghost rider donda got rolled wait oh he came in from nowhere keck w cleon i actually kind of like setting up a little bit of calm mind action here how much is that gonna do that did more than i wanted it to maybe two calm minds this should get a full restore right oh with drew weeping bell interesting the question is does a level 44 weepinbell outspeed a level 48 gastrodon except black sludge oh no it has a citrus berry so for science uh a 44 weapon belt does out speed a level 48 gastrodon oh we're we're screeched aren't we this could be bad okay it's not that bad if it crit it could have killed us there though and it maybe was a bad swap because paulie toad very well could have a uh a ice type move i don't really want to play i don't really like x and y that much so i would rather play uh or ass and i just played emerald so again there's that full restore oh it missed a slash dude wait why am i oh bright powder's insane bright powder op bright powder completely overpowered just rolling this cat cleon vulpera oh that was a crit right did that crit and paralyze or was that just that's just how much damage it does wow level 41 sega get to give like 40 experience oh nice level 50. sweet ghost writer scott they're all ghost writers why is that even a trainer classification cristiano ghostwriter cristiano can bruno get his ass off the floor talk about ass stream uh cherum arceus is is uh actually pretty good for us to have reggie get gas in against because we have fighting type moves ow ow ow but arceus is also scary because that might be his ace oh that did so much more damage than i expected it to do but we crit it and killed it so it doesn't really matter that much but still worrisome to say the least snowball nice dead ski dej unfortunate onyx oh man this is this is a pathetic showing from our boy here so i don't know i don't know it's not too big of a deal oh we actually can't hit this with reggie gig ass and that should do it for our friend bruno here that should do it for our friend bruno go face your next challenge it's time baby she has the coolest chamber by far i think ghost rider bob that doesn't look like a bob uh-oh raiku is is a little bit of a scary lead but good thing we have dig oh the para unfortunate because we're not gonna be able to use dig anymore because two turn moves with parallel paralysis big battery or some other cool tool i don't know man oh that was a crit wow we're getting we're getting so many crits and they're getting like no crits at all wait why did she swap i'm going acupressure i don't give a [ __ ] oh it has nasty plot e z w does this die uh pidgeot oh no is this whole team flying types you would hate to see it her whole her whole it's it's ghostwriter bob so right oh that's gorgeous pidgeot goes down one hit easy swallot i don't think this dies because that's pretty good special defense unless i crit or just him insane okay never mind strong pokemon weak pokemon that's only for selfish people those classifications go on the champion is waiting i like your style i like her style too no need for words now just sexual tension ninjask does this worry us this could have like endeavor or something huge ass yeah exactly no just slash lots of slashers in this elite four okay that was a crit i was gonna say that did so much damage this dies to this i
