capsules and we've got ourselves a little message terminal welcome to your assigned Planet your mission is to advance the terraformation process of this world you'll need to generate O2 heat and pressure first reach 175 or 175,000 maybe 175 TI performing and create a blue atmosphere Sentinel Corp it is the year 30 58 we've got ourselves the health meter a water meter an O2 meter and I don't think my head is hiding out anything other than my little hand H yeah tan I don't I tire tire forming index we can see in the top right corner I always forget that like the webcam is inverted but above my head terraforming index over there so if we get to 175 or 175,000 I we will advance The Next Step we've got some First Steps over top left corner craft a T1 backpack equip It Craft T1 oxygen tank equip it and craft a micr ship for for construction we look at the crafting station over here again I played through the first couple of minutes of this just to get the hang of the UI before we'd start but otherwise I'm basically playing blind you can see here we can craft our backpack we need two units of iron the oxygen tank we need two Cobalts one iron one magnesium and for the construction ship we'll need silicon and magnesium so we've got a bit of a early thing we can craft oxygen capsules and water bottles uh we could bring an oxygen capsule with us maybe we'll do that just so we don't die right away so currently you can see my my health which is really the hunger meter um I mean presumably other things might do damage to me as well but the hunger the health gets refilled with food and the water meter is going down currently the O2 is stable but as soon as I step out of my pod the O2 is going to go down and shockingly fast Welcome To Mars it is dark it is hazy I got to say that is a large mood I well are we actually I guess we're not actually on Mars right Planet crafter didn't say that I interpreted is Mars because it's sort of a red planet but I guess we're we're just somewhere generic as I say damos and Phobos won't be so giant in the sky here so anyway we're going to go and pick up some rocks from the surface and get things started maybe you are the moon that's no moon okay we got ice the blue stuff is definitely Cobalt we' got some titanium here I don't even remember if I needed titanium for any of the early construction I know I need a couple of units of silicon for the chip part of me is like I should really have written maybe a shopping list down uh Cobalt little more iron next we're going to need some magnesium and I don't remember what that looks like oh we got just a random storage chest over here okay oh eggplant seeds and a bunch of magnesium all right let's make a trip back to our pod here and I'm almost dead already that oxygen meter is going down so that caught me so off guard I was walking around learning the controls and then just died from lack of all that stuff can we make a back pack first that seems like it would be ideal so let's go and equip the backpack great so we get an extra row of storage cool uh do I have enough for the oxygen tank no I need one more Cobalt for that I can build the um the microchip I guess doesn't really compete going to eat one of the Magnesium but that's going to be okay let's do the construction microchip here it's going to add some extra stuff to the que but I'm very interested in trying to get the the oxygen tank up as a priority so one Cobalt one magnesium please there might have been more over here I think there's a dust storm going on this is great where's Matt Damon but I need more inventory more air uh iron so I need a magnesium still yeah titanium I mean maybe I'll mine one just to say we've got a little bit of space not much we got some ice there that's Cobalt iron oh it's so hazy quick mag that might no that's Cobalt oh right magnesium I remember is like black sort of spiky Spire bits oh my God I'm going to run out of air again run I do have one oxygen tank on me but I want to use it if I don't have to quick quick quick woo I think it's a dust storm I think that's why it's more blown out yellow okay Oxygen's back oh there's that's I think this magnesium I think that's the shape I remember yeah there we go grab a couple of those and I'll just pick up whatever on the way back I'm going to ignore the ice for now we'll grab one of these okay run where's the alien worm that pops out of the ground swallow as you hold hey no spoilers I haven't seen Dune yet uh oxygen tank I mean actually I haven't seen the new Dune but I did see the old one oxgen tank is built and equipped oh we can equip our construction microchip that'll enable me to build buildings I think is the deal now so now I have to craft a living compartment with a door a T1 drill a wind turbine and a screen now none of these are things I craft here they will be crafted I believe with this Q button the Q button opens up this construction B and we've got furniture and buildings that we can start to plop down um let me put the eggplant down here and the space food we are going to need some water fairly soon which we can here I can just craft one real quick by grabbing this ice we do this that come over here make a water bottle out of ice little EAS playing stationers consume the water bottle maybe I didn't need it quite yet but let's go and do that so I don't know where I want to build anything quite yet right now I'm ly freaked out about moving too far although I suppose the living compartment will be an oxygen supply place maybe you know what I'm going to put up on this little Hill or a little further away maybe it makes sense to put a little further away just so that we've got a couple of safe spots there's some new minerals over here I'm just going to plop one right there so we're going to do living compartment oh I need more iron oh I'll need some for the door too probably but yeah it's a little hard to it's going to be floating a little in the air but I guess that's the way it's going to have to be what I need for the door one more iron that is fairly that's titanium so the Iron's fairly easy to find that's some iron there okay let me have this door kind of facing where the Pod was there you go yeah it's a little hovering I don't know if there was another way to place that but I am fine on oxygen here and my Max oxygen is now 145 thanks to the backpack instead of just 100 so that's going to help out a lot okay what's the next thing I need to build the drill the wind turbine warning low power oh yeah that's for the base that's not for me personally so if I want to build the wind turbine I need just one unit of iron very easy to do that is not iron there's some over here iron or more silicon worried about my inventory here there we go let's build wind tur you know what let's put it over here I don't know if like distance matters or if it's all linked or what but you know we'll put it on some height that seems good okay so we have energy um craft a drill titanium and iron generates pressure by releasing gases trapped in the ground all right let's just put it here kind of out of the way that's now running it's consuming some of our energy but our terraforming index is starting to go up we're releasing some gases in the atmosphere to thicken up the atmosphere cool get our O2 [Music] back all right next uh have to craft a couple of screens terraforming screen blueprint screen let's take a look at that so I need more iron for all these screens plus it's going to take some Cobalt and some silicone although I've got two silicon so that's probably okay actually I'm pretty good on Cobalt as well that was titanium let's see if there's more iron that's silicon I think that's also silicon too right oh there's iron pretty sure see this is the vibe this is time that gives me a very um uh very stationer Vibe oh oh hello there's another box of goodies over here okay just behind our spot that's cool o2k dropped the menu yeah it doesn't pause Us in those menus okay so um what screen this terraforming blueprints so let's get a terraforming screen up now I did find this um a little trixy okay when I was testing it before and trying to place things on the walls I was having difficulty to get them to actually turn green for whatever reason but there's a screen O2 heat pressure so our pressure is rising that's contributing our terraforming score so now a screen for blueprints they why it's not I don't know oh maybe has to be resting down I guess it's just not a screen that attaches to wall it must attach on a c surface okay so I could build a table but if I can just make it in the corner here it's not too bad there was one spot but it was awkward I'll do that save us a table so blueprints These Blueprints are going to unlock so unlock at 300 TI unlock it 1 kti 2.5 kti okay so as we improve our terraforming rating we're going to unlock more blueprints okay that seems fair next we have to make a T1 heater and a veg tube now the heater I need iridium this is as far as I got veg tube I just need one unit of ice that's pretty easy to find because it's nice this white stuff over here and the veg tube I did wrestle with because I was couldn't figure out why I couldn't place it turns out these go indoors but the game doesn't actually tell you that there we go a warning low power and what's funny notice the wind turbine stops spinning when you hit low power I guess is a good indicator that the power is not running but it's like why is it not spinning at all we'll put a second wind turbine here there you go power restored good and I don't have a seed on me cuz we went and stored it so let me go and grab that run run run R run run run run run run run so the LMA seed we started with we'll grab that oxygen capsules I mean yeah I've got the one on me which is good I might want to create some more water here I guess I don't have a crafter in my base maybe I shouldn't have put them so far apart but it does give me two safe spots for oxygen which is at least useful I'll make the water bottle I won't consume it yet when turbine with no atmospheric pressure well there's clearly some right but yeah I guess they do start spinning immediately which is a little weird there should have been like a basic pressure that start that started with even before you do any terraforming so we can open this up and we can put the lured inside and this is apparently generating oxygen now is it generating oxygen just in the room cuz I had oxygen every time I came in here my O2 refilled or is it generating oxygen oh it is releasing the oxygen into the atmosphere for terraforming PPQ what do you think the Q stands for I'm used to seeing PPM like parts per million or whatever PPQ part per generic quantity okay next is the team one heater now I said this was as far as I got technically I'd asked for one thing from a kiss for luck because I was confused because creating the heater requires idium which has got like this red stone in here first I made a joke about can't find this red rock on this red planet but um I legitimately couldn't find any idium and I thought well this should be fairly easy to find shouldn't it because it kind of stands out from some of the others and she gave me a hint that there was was it over that way there was like this Cave thing in a wall somewhere we could go now I'm I might want to bring more auction with me what I'm thinking of doing is dumping everything no that's as much as I can dump I'm going to bring all my oxygen capsules with me I'm going to bring a space food as well I've got a water with me a space food and that's great Hearts per quill I like it Hearts per quintilian Maybe that's a crash spaceship over there anyway believe yeah this is the the way she had hinted that would be the spot to get it so we're going to run out this way and see what we can do lot of resource only in particular areas Al stationers things tend to last longer it's much more important to get the warnings here because things are running out quite quickly you're probably a little bit more aware of them oh we got another radius I'm going to put another one here cuz they kind of look cool clustered up well now they're touching but I don't know of any way to move things all right so I can't interact with this or for this somehow there we go screen project at 2 NK I think that's just the pressure NPA PK oh it might be heat Kelvin we is this like pico Kelvin we have Pico Kelvin we're going to go to Nano Kelvin damn it's cold holy crap okay so I think the thing to do is what build more heaters cuz we're going to have to get this to 2,000 Pico Kelvin right to go to nanokelvin wow oh it's in the heat category oh I see so this unlocks with terraforming this unlocks with oxygen this unlocks with heat and this unlocks with pressure which did unlock a better oxygen tank I'm assuming I probably get another crafting table that I can build at some point in these little survival shelters oh grids maybe I should put down a grid so that the base doesn't hang out tell you what I'm going to do I'm going to leave this place as is I'm going to build another one of these that didn't fill me up um currently I don't have a way to generate food so that's a little scary as I said I'm going to build another one of these uh right by our little pod so I want to build this iron titanium iron titanium silicone so I need three iron in total so I need one more and I need a silicon oh I should check that box again cool and some more space food that's good yeah I do have the eggplant thing so I'm wondering I mean eggplant is presumably food but I'm wondering about the first thing this the first one so do you just build the the the veggie like planter the basically your planting thing do you just build that and then whatever seed you put in determines what it produces okay see I think this Foundation is going to make things look a lot less stupid I put you down there am I happy with that I don't know if it's supposed to over how does this look I think I could even pull that one closer to me but that's fine stop and died so I need a silicon it's getting dark that's not it but I might grab it cuz the Magnesium seems to be a little trickier to find just in terms of how much of it is around my a seat in this device to generate O2 oh there's a T2 crafting station improve crafting station craft better tools okay let's I need a silicon for that Dam it's dark probably need some more iron soon too um I might need ice might need to make myself another water pack I think oxygen might be also made from Ice NOP that's so dark there right here similar color but it's got a little bit more of a slanty point to it yeah so there is a um you can hit F to activate the torch I saw that in the keybinds but I don't have the torch microchip equipped I think it's one of the ones I can craft though but um I say all my slots are full but that's not true oh oxygen is made from double Cobalt do I still have yeah I still have so let's build actually I guess I was going to build this crafting station first you I think I want to do it oh it's control I like how holding control is faster but it also locks it like on the grid like 90° angles just face it as I come in and then do I still have enough for the veg tube I do put good and oh I didn't take the eggplant seat but that's fine this here what can oh okay that's the same that's the same we unlocked the t2 backpack but actually don't know if I could craft it the other station same thing with the t2 oxygen tanks and the T1 exoskeleton increased equipment capacity oh this gives me more slots for things okay that's very cool that is very cool eggplant carry a food with me CU I think we're going to need it soon yeah we're going to upgrade things pretty quickly here um um I still have an oxygen capsule on me okay that's good I put that eggplant in here row eggplant seeds insert into food grow oh okay so it is a different type of seed here I need a food grower so this thing's not going to do anything for me other than eat some of my power okay let's put that away oh I don't need both space Foods okay I would love to do the backpacks and stuff like at this point I kind of just need a little bit of everything um so I well let me check specifically let's start by looking at the back pack and just have a bit of an action plan um Iron silicon okay so at least two silicons and then we might be okay that's one no that's magnesium that's silicon right there oh I can change um I can change the uh the field of view let's say we crank it up to 100 let me know how it Compares I mean this is more Distortion but theoretically we see a little bit more around our angles do people prefer it dislike it more the default it to quite narrow 60 I think we'll probably pull back a little yeah cuz I think I think 100 is too much there too much Distortion there we go we'll do something like this okay so first oh yeah I still can't get the iron but I can do the tier 2 oxgen tank which consumes the tier one version do I have to requip it no it gets re-equipped immediately good and then I still okay I only need the iron that's good and then for the torch I'll need two more magnesium does this take silicon it does so I'll need one more silicon two magnesium one iron okay and then I need one silicone I don't suppose there's one in the box is there oh there's one behind it although I can grab that more eggplant seeds cool okay let me leave that here for now I wonder if at some point you get some sort of scan or something to make it easier to find those uh those pods oh yeah the exoskeleton too but backpack we'll get the torch so it's available which I will equip in my last slot and then I can get more slots if I build the exoskeleton okay um how much what does it take to build a um a storage crate just a single iron okay do I generate more oxygen I can't generate more oxygen unless I Al I get more of the right kind of seed I guess I could go looking for more of those pods I'm going to build over here um like I mean more of those little oh now I remember what I was going to do I was going to go and build the uh the construction ship there and equip it okay so now we can start cleaning things up um I can build more he right now we've got the aridium as long as I've got the material it seems like the thing to do is plop down as many of these terraformers as you can plop down as many of these terraformers as you can start getting some things up yeah drills would be another good one um I'll grab this but what I'm mostly looking for is iron again I'm just picking a direction actually maybe I should go towards my other survival pod but I kind of want to come up here don't think we've come up to this hill yet again I can drop a little survival pod in an area here where's my iron at I should do I wonder if you can label your chests I have four iron in the chest okay I kind of wish when you're in the building or proximity would use it yeah we'll have to pull it out of there that was interesting um cuz what I might want to do is have one chest per material or something like that there's a label on left that's a fun graphic glitch over here right my O2 gets low I do have an O2 tank on me which brown kind of rusty color here this looks like the gray of titanium so I was kind of confuzzled about things I'm guessing I can't swap anything right now got the tier 2 vegetabl lier I'm guessing maybe it just produces oxygen faster although maybe it does it by requiring two seeds um at the very least I should deconstruct this guy CU I can't use it right now anyway maybe [Music] um it stuff in the dark might be a pain in the ass I haven't gone in this direction as much I mean I can just build a wind turbine very quickly but we done this chest okay we did so constructed I wonder and I suspect at some point you'll probably be able to build drills that are just constantly extracting resources for you or something or I don't know maybe you're always picking stuff off the surface who knows as long as the material requirements don't climb like super high and they probably don't cuz it looks like it's mostly an inventory management game or if they have a drill maybe it like produces relatively slowly that would be one way of doing it okay so put it here with the other power small how much does it produce 6.5 1.2 oh yeah it's tons more power although always because there's a there's a cosmetic day night cycle it may or may not affect the solar panels or maybe they generate more during one versus the other there's a drill later but it gives random resources as much later so we're back to producing I would kind of like getting the other screens oh this another tabletop one huh I mean I can just keep putting on on these things but and some place to place your screens I mean it says right there all right guess I can deconstruct you and move you over here maybe I'll do that so the terraforming one goes up on the wall cool lots of power to spare solar's pretty good solar is worth all your wind turbines right now yeah I mean the wind are only one iron to build I think right so that's pretty easy to work with wonder if I deconstruct this if it drops everything to the floor or like destroys it probably just puts in your inventory and then if it overflows it overflows into onto the ground okay uh oh so I think what I want to do is put down a bunch of drills now to increase pressure so let's pick a spot that's a little far from the structure kind of back here sure okay I need more tit probably have a bunch stored titanium and iron and I think I can hold click and drag control and drag or something to make an array or something I think I remember seeing a tool tip about that so I mean again here's all our iron do I have a bunch of titanium there it is Lumpy water bottles and stuff cool we're going to get more story as we go go we're going to explore those crash ships and I'm wondering if we're going to get some lore out of that I wonder if there's actually things you can read there the one downside with this game which is the same as stationeers is you feel like you can't just stop and take a break and like you know smell the roses not that you could because the spaceship the space suit anyway because the problem oh now that I'm growing food that's sort of self- sustaining but it's the water and o like if I just stop here and don't actively go and harvest stuff at some point I will run out of resources to produce water and oxygen bottles so I have to be running like crazy back to rim world tomorrow indeed tomorrow Rim World anomaly comes out and we will be streaming Rim World anomaly tomorrow we don't normally stream on Thursdays but we will be um we will start the stream possibly question mark based on when anomaly comes out um so currently looks like it might be releasing about 1:00 p.m. uh eastern time okay so if that's the case then my plan is going to be to probably start the stream around 1 p.m. eastern time which is an hour earlier than we normally do on weekdays an hour later than we do on weekends but uh we'll keep an eye on that and uh because I'm sure I'm going to want to be playing right away and why would I play a game by myself like some sort of crazy loser obviously I want to play games with you people so you know that's what we'll be doing I I have this really weird mentality these days it's so hard for me to play games solo now I feel like I should save or pause or something I'm hoping on the Escape screen the time doesn't go it's so hard to play a game by myself these days because it it feels wrong it's like if I'm not recording it or if I'm not playing with friends that also makes it okay playing I own just feels very bizarre being being this YouTuber twitch person has just like broken my brain anyway we're going to check here I believe I suspect aiss for luck is playing this game and she is we're going to go to her channel so if you want to see someone who's got a lot more experience
