come here baby you're shaking he was just so disconnected he was shaking like a leaf come on baby [Music] i was at the shelter and animal control mentioned that there was a dog up on a cliff and i just ran down the street and started climbing that cliff to get him down i see you and he was so so tiny all the way at the top of this cliff come on come on i got snacks so i just started like trekking up this cliff which is pretty steep kind of dangerous there's debris garbage hooker bushes come on bud come on let's come down from there come on baby come here [Music] come on i'm not gonna hurt you i promise come on come on come on i got food for you i promise i'm not gonna hurt you let's get down from here come on come on good boy come on come on i'm so close every time i would get near him he would actually back up more so he was getting closer to the ledge come on baby come on baby i was able to get pretty close to him and corner him and he wasn't able to go any further but he was not happy [Music] let's go let's get off this little mountain so luckily i had my cell phone with me and i called animal control and i was like i have him in a spot where you probably get him but i need help come on baby we're coming for you we're coming for you we got you come on baby got him we were able to get a pole around him get him down and walk him back to the animal control facility he was almost like feral he would just sit leaning against the kennel shaking [Music] and he scanned him for a chip which he didn't have since he's a stray he illegally in new jersey has gone to seven days straight for the seven days that he was on his straight hold i went to the shelter every single day good job mister every day we would go for a walk and i could tell like he was scared and he would growl but he wasn't aggressive so i definitely saw something really special in him it's okay little by little he definitely started to trust like when i would come see him he would actually like hug me i got kisses after her seven day hold was up we pulled him that day whoa and he's off he needed a foster and then we received an application from his now adoptive parents he just threw himself everywhere he was so energetic we noticed right away that he had really bad separation anxiety benny you're my bodyguard thank you he like tore up our office he needed more boundaries so we knew right away that it was going to take some time and our dog skye who we'd already had he just kept looking at him and then looking at us when is he going home this guy is crazy he's gonna get us in trouble is it gonna both hide in there he started to bond and cuddle i think skye kind of took the reins it was like look i'm gonna show you the way you know like you're not going anywhere these dog parents really love you they're gonna take care of you these two pumpkins we started noticing some signs of her something was wrong something was wrong we ended up finding out that she had osteosarcoma cancer benny was kind of like this he was like [Music] this guy is about to get sandwiched he just gave us like little laughs his high energy changed a little bit because i think he was starting to understand that skye was going through something very difficult and your brother there who's been giving you love yeah when she passed it was a lot of tears it was a lot of sadness he just kind of like walked up to me and just did one of these you know like hey everything's all right you know and even the nurse was just like i've never seen a dog act like that we are so happy that he came at the right opportunity we feel like that was part of maybe skye's like cosmic energy with all the stars aligned for him to be with us like during this difficult time the reason why i love him so much is he just kind of came in at the right time and just made sure that we were okay he's just like a big blob we call him mozzarella because he just like melts on you his bottom lip and his little teeth he has a great smile just that face he has so as soon as you get in it's all about like giving you hugs just like jumps on you and literally wraps his arms around your waist and just hugs you feels like love you
