2-Year-Old Girl Convinces Her Mom To Adopt A Deaf Puppy | The Dodo Adoption Day

moe's was just a mess he was this scrawny hairless weird-looking stray and he was deaf [Music] you're safe now it's gonna be okay okay so as soon as he got to the house immediately crashed i think he was just in shock he just fell asleep for probably a day and a half so i knew this was gonna take some time when he first got up he came over and i could smell him and i was like okay we gotta get you set buddy and i put him in the bath he was just content i think he trusted me you're gonna be okay all right at the time i had three fosters in my house the way that my other fosters fostered him was a beautiful thing i think being around all the dogs really helped mose come out of his shell i take in all kinds of fosters and do my best to find them their forever homes and most of the homes that i've found are right here in my neighborhood he would come on walks with us he would be in my backpack he loved going outside and on our regular walking route there's this house we go by kids were home with us all day long and so we spent a lot of time looking out the front windows tom would walk by with moe's in his backpack and so we would all go outside and say hi our daughter who's two years old just really loves quiet mellow gentle creatures you like him he's very cute is he soft lillian always loves to say hi to my foster dogs [Music] she was really excited to get to walk most he's small and they're kind of similar size similar pace of life [Music] i let lillian watch him one day and i walk back over to pick him up and they're sitting outside and she's just sitting there drawing chalk and he's just next to her [Music] it was really sweet to kind of watch this friendship blossom tom was getting ready to go out of town going down to new mexico for work and he asked if we would dogs at moe's and just kind of see how it went what are you gonna do thank you the girl who can't stop talking and the guy who can't hear anything some good boy give him a thumbs up can you give him a thumbs up i really thought he was like her baby and she was his mom and mo's was pretty game for whatever she wanted to do [Music] you can do that it was a really sweet two weeks because i would get these videos from lauren and i just knew they were falling in love he was always by her side he was a velcro dog [Music] he would just go with us wherever he went he really did fit in pretty seamlessly [Music] as soon as i got back i was like this dog is staying here forever right and they were just like yes a thousand percent he's not going anywhere we just asked him could we keep moe's and could he be part of the family the second that we got his final vaccination i got the leash out he knew that this was it luckily his forever home was two blocks away so we walked over together i said goodbye to him and i gave him straight to lillian and her family i was at the jackpot with these guys she was so so so excited i think those two are going to have a lifelong friendship together hi baby baby we're his forever family they love to say where is forever family i mowed forever [Music] i just knew that moe's was gonna get treated like a king really one more see if he likes the green [Music] do you [Music] [Music] okay like go [Music] you
