[Music] still [Music] hey what's up welcome back to the channel uh today i'm up in navato uh california kind of near napa i'll be flying the jet today we're empty going back to north las vegas back home so it'll be a quick one-hour flight i got alex one of our pc12 captains standing right today he'll be filming me today because today i get to fly and i get to film have him film me as an observer today so should be a good flight hope you guys enjoy it i'll have the atc audio running um i'll try to keep it simple but uh yeah i'll try to work on more commentary since i can focus on flying and talking as well and explaining kind of like instructional so thanks for subscribing and following and comment for any questions and then i will keep you posted but here we go [Music] uh [Music] we just went ahead and got gas and quick turn so just make sure everything's all good before i turn on the aircraft there we go first thing i like to do is just turn on the battery one takes a little minute so uh alex will be filming from the right seat for me um hopefully he can get the focus right with the camera so it's gonna kind of be new for him so we'll cut him with some slack here he comes here's a selection we have green runway so we can use any runway we wanted to i'll go ahead and check one two right r one two right thirty four hundred there's our speeds there we got a v1 speed of 87 rotation speed of 90 v2 101 and then our end route i think legit uh client speed is gonna be 170 level off temperatures 19 degrees celsius is in there single engine acceleration altitude it's gonna be 3700 feet mark eight five and also gives you those procedures acceleration uh three zero no delay no delay three three zero gold strike rate five all right traffic would you like level three five zero information says here uh xda hill info airport see elevation say 4 400 so yeah obviously that's hard i don't know why that zero feet but yeah the elevation there is about 45 which makes sense because vegas is like 2 300 feet um other than that which just says military airport uh 12 000 foot runway 1432 but janet you know so they apply you know directly in there and i'm sure they i don't know how often they use the ios going in there but i might be i don't know if i should be talking about this but 3724 contacts open center right public information yeah right that's new yeah that wasn't there a couple years ago what else is there vhf frequency not available um runway information yeah 12 000 feet width is 150 feet so it's a big runway it says no is ils glide slope maybe that's for only family too and i guess it was uh the high was negative nine degrees fahrenheit no way the high was negative thank you low is negative 26 with a windchill negative 50. that's why we live vegas right yeah my ears to fall off yeah four years of college i did it let's see here on this side with all the nevada test range so all the needs are going off you can see like holes on the ground from craters and stuff all out there kind of hard to see today though but have you ever noticed there's a runway right the that's not published right here we'll try five doesn't maintain one five thousand [Music] [Applause] i know desert rock airport right yeah so you got desert rock right here but right around here uh right here there's a little other tri-link that there's a there's one runway with a big hanger at the end of it wow and it's just it's not area 51 it's a totally different airport but oh wow i wonder what it's it's it's right there actually you can see it right there's that dry lake bed and then right off to the edge of it where you gotta get small there's a there's a road that's the runway there's a white building right yep i see it yeah so i don't know what that runway is everybody knows glenn common if you know what airport that is because it's uh undisclosed and it's not even on my map i see it now wow yeah i don't know if i had anything to do with maybe like nuclear testing and you know run but it's not published you know so i don't know i mean desert uh desert rock is published but that's nevada energy and they use that airport for sure and that's uh right uh right there it's kind of dirty though just beat up runway but it's not in the restricted airspace but there's not charleston [Applause] left zero knight oh i totally missed it all right zero nine zero gold strike good five things it was super faint like you can't even hear yeah i could barely hear it i was listening in the 8th and totally covered her up all right oh there's a desert rock down there about a test site imagine back in the day where they were having mutes blow off and people in vegas were just watching the science show it's crazy like where's all the nuclear radiation fallout no no hitting the rocks you know it's crazy walking around here is a normal day for them yeah yeah it's crazy you know you see the little footage where you know they had the explosions and then like all the soldiers were in the trenches like right next to just the test it's like i know i can't even imagine oh all right 12 minutes well look at that sunset is it city they're still above the cloud yeah almost there i want to reflect out the mountains and with the white snow it like turns pink on this you know the mountaintops makes the snow look what kind of pinkish it's cool [Music] auto throttle
