PIKMIN 4 NEW ENEMIES TIER LIST

hello welcome to my Pikmin for enemies brand new enemies Peerless and notes I want to talk about a lot of these fellows because they're quite cool how do you engage there we go so first off the game is really loud for me so I'm gonna turn that down quickly so we've got a lot of cool new enemies in Pikmin four I almost said two um and these guys I mean they're cool yeah albino albino dwarf barbs is that what they're called um right yeah so these are actually baby Bowl boards whereas these are bread bugs that are mimicry of bull boards which is very cool that we finally get to see the Evolve stage of the uh billboard larva of course although they're not as smart as they are in a skin too but you know it's still nice to see these guys they're not much of a challenge I think they they take another like more than one hit to kill right yeah yeah they take a little bit more of them uh at least from most Pikmin that aren't glow or walk I imagine so you know they're they're good additions and they're nice for the night missions so here's the Cure list right um they're they're okay you know they're they're the harmless additions to the game uh that I'm I'm cool with being a part of it [Music] we have Mr jumbo bulborb so this guy's kind of just here um I'm gonna get some Pikmin that we can use throughout this we'll get three of each of the original 32. um so he's just a bigger ballboard um nothing too special about it it is like a triple attack how many does he get there okay like he really doesn't need that many he's more of an addition to like night mode but the jumpable verbs a little bit um I don't know underwhelming to say the least you just kind of hangs out it doesn't like it doesn't cause much of a threat like only only seven that's not many especially he lays down for really long he doesn't have like a special rule color or anything um there are other bullboards though I think are significantly more threatening uh a little bit of a letdown to say the least um which is kind of sad because I I like the idea of like a bigger bull orb but um they didn't really execute it super well the dwarf Frosty balloons these are actually also baby bulb orbs and they're really cool um I don't want to hurt you for that but like regular Pikmin I don't think they can straight up kill it yeah so it needs to be ice Pikmin or um you do have this other option of using pine cones to get rid of their ac service and then ticket them so that's sorry fire starters so that's like a really cool way to make that work it gives ice Pikmin more use and I think um if I'm not mistaken I think Rock pick numbers also are able to uh to do something about it let's do this get some rocks yeah so that's that's good you know Mark Pikmin are pretty useless in this game in comparison to the other types uh if purple pigments are also able to do it there then yeah that kind of ruins that would continue to be a little useless but hey I I think that these are actually a really good addition they have a little bit of um they have a little bit of ways to deal with them and I think they look really cool on top of that so I'm a big fan like this is easily my favorite ice enemy um and I'm going to just put this guy up here as well this is the uh the regular Frosty Bowl board similar idea uh just a little bit more you know terrifying I think this is a good like this is basically of All Blacks you know this is fiery ball blacks is uh distant relative big fan of these guys very very good addition next up uh The Sovereign Bowl blacks so I was glad to see the bulb lights from Pikmin one kind of have a chance to shine in this game um he's still a lot easier than the other one but I mean he is still quite sure you have to be careful how you aim your pitchman because you can just throw it into his mouth by accident of course riding on Ochi makes this boss fight a lot easier [Music] it does appear in the outside wow that was quite nice um during the um it's not too hard but like he's hard enough paralyzed I wasn't trying very hard but I lost 60 Pikmin there just from casually trying to take him down um so you know more challenging Emperor is always nice I'm gonna put an a tier with the other two um I think including this was a great idea um and and having a uh a stronger bow blacks than the emperor as a call back to Pikmin one kind of separating the two uh races or species rather um definitely the way to go um Emperors are still cool in this game uh but Sovereign is definitely where uh where I prefer my uh my bow blacks fights except for the uh the snowy blog we'll start with um so this is just a bullhog that is significantly weaker than um the uh the fiery blowhog because it ice can't actually kill you uh or take pikmin's lives so I'm like it's not the Hogs are okay they're they're harmless but I feel like they don't really need to be here um just because there are so many ice enemies and I think that the um the blizzard blue hog that's here the flying one that's a better variant than adding another uh fiery blowhog variant so the blizzard blowhog's gonna go and see because or sorry the snowy blowhog's gonna go and see and the same goes for the Titan blow hog because this is the only encounter this guy once in a single player and he's in the um the final cave he's not super special I feel like honestly with the name Titan blowhog I was kind of hoping that we would get a um kind of a spiritual successor evil where he uses all the elements but instead we just get the one fire and it really is just an extension of hey fiery blowhog except it's big and that uh some looks at a jumbo blowhog or sorry the jumbo bull board it's not very interesting the blizzarding blowhog is the exact same um in fact to an even lesser degree the Titan block can be quite threatening if you don't have the Scorch guards because it actually does a lot of damage to you like when all of ours um an all of our shipwreck tail team log is a little bit threatening you do have to fight one on day one or two essentially um whereas blizzard and blowhog will never threaten you ever under any circumstances so not much of a problem Tusk blowhog is a very cool addition a blowhog that is instead intended to rush you down um kind of as a uh a compliment to oh she's rush it has the rushed power and any Pikmin that it runs into it will I remember when I was doing the demo this was actually the first enemy in the entire game that took a Pikmin from me it kind of doesn't like it's not hard to kill or anything it's just like an early enemy that people just a few and knock dudes out of the way so you know it's it's a harmless pretty easy inclusion um I really like its design but I'm only going to be putting it at a um at a V tier here like it's it's okay uh I think if it had a little bit more properties it could be a more interesting like say if it like oh there's a lot you can do with rushing maybe you like hit a wall it'd make Boulders fall stuff like that or maybe there could be a larger variant kind of like the um the snoot whacker which we'll get to later um I could definitely have a little bit more going for it because it's a really cool design it's kind of an extension of the blow hog um but like at its purest form where instead of blowing uh elements at you it is just like straight up pig uh or or boar even it's very much a bore or warthog anyways uh the Arctic Cannon Beetle I love this thing this thing is a very I love fighting this thing you know it it sucks in your Pikmin for the first bit I think that's quite strong like actually like that was it they are all dead not all of them actually I didn't know that I wasn't sure how many died [Applause] um but I lost about half of them I think a 30 perished in that um so it can take out quite a few Pikmin through it's uh it's it's eating power but once it actually does do that sucking in it uh it's quite easy to Dodge I mean just listed them out and then I'm curious do these rollers actually go it doesn't seem like they can probably check with this one but yeah so it shoots a harmless Cannonball which is quite fine [Music] okay so so the Cannons can't kill but they're quite uh quite Limited in their range I think this thing is great I think this is a fantastic extension of the horn Cannon deal and I honestly will put a mess I think it's it's not challenging by any means but I think that um it's a good extension of an already good anime um and the way you fight it was it was quite unique in an arena that uh there are two of them there's one that shoots it straight down the path and you have to kind of Dodge the Snowballs as you go up to fight it and there's the other that um is more focused on uh on the arena having Spikes all over that you are able to destroy um in order to get to it and uh maneuver around it a little better so I'd like this boss a lot I think that it was one of the better bosses in the game um and its design is such a good extension uh off the uh the horned I do prefer fighting the horn though I think the horn I mean Pikmin one anime it was probably the most like in-depth Pikmin one enemy in the game uh very very fun boss I'm glad they brought it back Mama um has to be probably the most weird inclusion in the game something about a sheer group that's like hey I'm just gonna jump on your dudes um it clearly can do some damage but uh I don't know I it's not very tough Eminem's and I I I'm not a four pikminar for using it's enemy designs but I mean I'm not gonna lie to you I don't like the super sized enemies very much um I I think that you know Sovereign Bowl blacks is an exception um as is one later but Mama sugar really really was disappointing to me just because it is just a female sheer girl maxed out I think that if it were you know there there was the queen Shear wig design uh in Pikmin or hey Pikmin I kind of liked how they they decided to go above and beyond for that um but just reusing the same model upscaling it a little bit boring I think that they might have been able to do a little bit more with that to show that it's it's a more mature species um what are the notes on this actually typically molt when it reaches maturity yeah so it it's this is mature like uh like the jumbo ball board like that I think that's like some sort of like defect is completely different though um I need to get more cyclopedia the cheerfully are super cool additions the game these are just kind of like male sheer drugs that are a bit more mobile they have a cool little design where they stab your Pikmin and then um throw it but just like sheer grubs um they will die very quickly I think this is a perfect extension of the shoe of rubs and they're even a part of a different family um the spring jab family despite having the same big angle name they aren't part of the Amanda blarb Amanda blard family sorry um so it's nice to have these as a part of it I think that they are great inclusion I didn't even include them as the new enemies because I forgot about them because they're so small and little I'll put them in B similar to the albino and the you know what no I'll put them in a I I really think they're good um having I don't know just this is like the good this is a good way to extend off the sheer grubs and sheer Wings because the strippers were kind of nerfed in this game but the sheer flea is is a little bit more scary because they'll grab your Pikmin then they'll run away and that's like obviously there's auto aim in this game so it's not much of a problem but something like this in Pikmin two or three uh and just in Pikmin in general it's a good little nuisance enemy that combined with other enemies is going to be a genuine problem um so I don't know I like them a lot they have a really nice design I like this stabby I like these dabs they stabs a lot um next up is the ice balloon label of course Louisville's are just kind of dweevils and I'm actually going to pair it alongside the Venom Louisville because they are both the same sort of idea where you pack them and they shoot out poison and Ice um they're necessary editions but they're kind of boring uh like I'm I'm not a big fan of tables to begin with um it's just like hey let's recolor the same enemy and at least they've recolored it um but ice is just such a disappointing um element in this game because unlike everything else it actually can't kill it's kind of like electricity and Pikmin 3 where you just can't do anything about it uh and the Venom I mean it's the same thing as the purple one uh except this time it's blue for some reason I guess because they want Venom to be this this cyan color instead um to make it be like oh don't use purples on this use different color I don't know a little bit weird but it's cool it's fine it works groovy long legs what a spectacular boss um just we're talking about perfect extensions of enemies earlier and this is like this is so much better than what raging long legs provides you know it's it's got this element where it's like oh if you're a Pikmin in that area they start being unable to completely control themselves um I I love this this is so good um and then of course it has the rage face I'm aging long legs also shares um and you can even trip it it's a very multi-layered boss and I have watched many people lose see if this this is the red phase yeah so it starts to just go completely out of control um and and rather than it seems like rather than fighting me it's trying to kill the Pikmin that are actually in the dance mode here which is really cool yes to your Pikmin um privy long legs is absolutely like top of this right there just an absolute like that is a perfect Pac-Man to me truly um next up we have the mucker skate so this new element um mud is pretty cool I I thought it was it was nice to kind of have this new this is water but not really um I actually don't I don't think I've ever seen the mucker skates get a hit on with the the mud I'm curious what they do they actually get a hit on this so let's wait around and see that'd seem to be attacking [Music] oh interesting they actually bury pikmined huh okay so that's that's a that's a really cool extension of the um the skeeter skates record yeah so you know a good way to uh to work off of what's already been made I'm a fan I'll put it in B I don't think it's super great I mean I get there not being a new mud thing um but they're kind of a mood up Jason still nuisances that uh work well in the new mud areas I like mud a lot I think it's a really great new element and I mean honestly having it's really good for the purples or sorry not the purples the uh the ice and the winged um to have this kind of surface that they can work with that the blues can't because uh Blues were really powerful in this game in terms of like just how much you had to use them for certain water areas so this is kind of like hey this is where your Blues don't work and that's fine you know I mean obviously Blues are still worse than ice but I'd say overall Blues were more useful in this game than winged so there's a point for winged at least with the mud um the snowflake flutter tail this was probably my favorite boss in the game um I think right off the bat you can't even attack it yeah you can't attack it without using a fire starter similar than some of the other bosses um I think I'd like this thing a lot more oh look you can actually attack its face but not its body so it's weird it has this ice attack the Pikmin uh and it would freeze you as well if you don't have the guard but you have the darkness so you can use a fire starter too all right kind of weird hitbox oh yeah you can use the fire starter it will show its body it kind of reminds me of Katrina it's not particularly difficult for the boss I mean ice is such a weak power but I I really did like fighting them um even if it's not hard by any means I think it was fun uh and I definitely will put it uh at S I think that it wasn't as great as groovy but it was definitely up there um creepy and chrysanthemum in this game a lot of people don't like its new design but I think that's new design perfectly um and I think that's infinitely more threatening than it was in Pikmin okay that's for sure whenever I see this thing now I'm kind of like I don't really have purples I'm kind of threatened by them like it just took it right there there's another one it knocks them off pretty quick it doesn't like it has a quick recovery time when it actually gets a successful eating in uh it's cool I like it a lot and then of course the uh the startle Spore is the extension of that and I liked how it how they get scared like they're quite intimidating when they actually do the jump scare this dude's cool he spreads poison all over the place he actually spreads quite a bit of poison which can be quite difficult to avoid thank you so like not only is he knocking your Pikmin off into poison but there's also I'm a big fan of both these guys um I'll put them both in a honestly I like the new chrysanthemum design I know a lot of people don't like it but I think it's cool um I prefer the original but I think I prefer how this one actually fights you um so I I think this one's better overall even if it's missing out on the piranha plant aesthetic that the uh the first one had little guy is adorable it's got a few more Pikmin again so these guys aren't particularly dangerous but I mean they are cute as hell and um I mean they go down pretty quickly they're cute they make cute sounds [Applause] and I mean they can be a little annoying you know they have their two-step process you gotta destroy this [Music] um gold first and then you have to destroy them they're also quite silly because they just kind of hide out in places that you don't expect them to be in there's probably one in here it's like oh it's a silly little guy that's definitely what they were going for with this thing like yeah the gold pieces that fall off of them are a little bit obnoxious I don't really like how you can fight those but like I love them I love this enemy and the boss you Glide yield demander is that what do you call it kill demander yeah this thing is really cool um it's a little bit like threatening it is coming right at me so you had to wait for it to attack before you actually really get anything which is always good I like multi-step process enemies um you can and there's enemy also have to be like the option like do you choose to go for the gold pieces or have you just like straight up so it actually takes a little bit of time to figure out the most effective strategy for this guy um one smaller detail that would be like pretty cool if you actually um if Autumn didn't exist you'll notice that it's uh its weak point actually gets smaller as it um as you damage it so that's always yeah it's pretty cool um it has survey points so you have to actually get rid of all the gold ones buddy I think this thing is really cool um so I'll put the regular one in a tier um and I'll put the boss and Nest here uh because I mean I love threatening boss but I think I like multi-layered bosses oh my God the miniature snoot whacker this guy's pretty great um but I do have grapes with them like he doesn't really do much I think like he only has this one attack or he just knocks your dudes all over the place I mean that's fine you actually can't hurt him that's one of the big things um so there's a few of these that are in areas that are outside of o2's range for a while that you have to like build your way up to get them he's like like I can't tell if he's supposed to be like a cactus or a watermelon elephant um but regardless he's a little cool elephant guy very similar to blowhog in design um I love them they're adorable but I really don't think that they fit in the game Super well um I think it's it's nice to have an enemy that's Ochi is forced to rush but it's probably the first enemy that I'm gonna put in seat here just as a regular enemy uh and I'm actually gonna put the boss down there as well um the boss isn't at an extension of it it doesn't actually hurt your Pikmin or kill them as far as I know and I'll quickly test though yeah it doesn't actually have the ability to kill your piston um oh [Music] I take it back um well this is still kind of sad um I can't kill Pikmin which changes it drastically but the fact is that you're intended to paralyze it and he kind of just infinite it at this point as you see a little get up and like even a player that doesn't really know what they're doing I think that's all you have to do the moment you rush it it's completely unable to attack um so cool that it's able to kill enemies or kill Pikmin but I still don't think it's that great of an addition um just because it's so easy to kill it's not super fun to fight um and I didn't even know it could crush Pikmin until right then because well it never would realistically ever have a chance to crush Hickman so good to know that it actually does have some sort of threatening premise and I think that having this in an area that you might like if there's ever DLC or anything having this scenario that might split up the captain without G that'd be a good way to make this a little bit more interesting because I mean when you encounter it in the actual game it's always going to be just easy time it's a little bit of time waster honestly because it's just like oh brush it I'll rush it again now rush it again now rush it again it's like yeah it's not very fun so not a huge fan of it does sun squish I love this thing what a spectacular anime you know one of those enemies that you can't rush is always a good thing well you can rush it but um you can't just charge it which I always appreciate you know you can just do that though well actually it doesn't die immediately though I love this thing a lot I think the sun's question it's corpse it's like a yolk you can kind of see its little pupils I love the sun squish um I think this is easily like this is an S to your enemy I I'm sorry it's just so good um what a great enemy fulix is also pretty good I mean having a ghulik sequel I'm not gonna complain um I think I liked it a lot when I thought it it's not particularly threatening though and it does this mechanic that you'll see in most the game where it's like oh you have to pick them pull out the thing okay [Music] yeah you pull it out and then you charge it um I would honestly like it a lot more if it didn't have like it does a thing a pigmentary bosses do where like at a certain point of being damaged it says to call all the dudes together it's not super threatening I mean it's cool looks it's very it looks adjacent at least that's not exactly but you know it's The Vibes of Rolex they decided to include this instead of Rolex which I appreciate that they're actually here at all and I like that the this nectar can actually grab you as well it's cool boss um but I wouldn't put it in the same tier as the others I think it's good I will put an a even put on the top of it I'll order things at the end of it um for all the tiers but yeah solid a tier um it's designed it's kind of creepy as well which is nice the Downy snagger these are similar to the albino um these are good additions you know they're just kind of like [Applause] they're not particularly threatening but they're not meant to be they're just supposed to be like hey this is cute baby snack grips eat stuff quickly and um they didn't come out of eggs because that's what snagworts do so that makes sense and if you're not careful you might just lose a picnic look even too so I'm a big fan of the Downy snagger I think that it's uh honestly such a good addition it's an eighth Year Edition not quite I'll put it at B tier um but top of B for sure it's it's good this guy has a hilarious name um and I like that it swallows treasure I like that it swallows Pikmin how many Canadian at once six that's pretty solid and it can also eat the player but that's uh not gonna do that much I like the walk off a lot I mean it's just a cool little [ __ ] creature that hangs out I mean why not you know there's another enemies that uh kind of like the opposite of a blowhog then instead of um eating or sorry blowing it it actually inhales so I think it's good I think it's really good even though I'll put it at eightier D cakes I'm going to rank all three of them at the same time because they're all the same um they're weird see that they're kind of before they're done their actual um attack they will still actually finish the attack I like them they're kind of great but like all those Pikmin there boom dad and you know what I like that more um but they're all just kind of like you know if they're they're all the same Vibes they're all okay other designs all right they're just kind of these weird insect rocks they're like snails kind of that are using a um a rock as a home they're all right they're nothing criminal I I like them I probably like the Freeze cake more if it actually was more threatening or if it was a uh like a tox cake uh the Freeze cake kind of sad I don't know ice enemies are just a little bit underwhelming in this game the talkstool this is a cool cool idea based on the uh you know um the puff stool where white Pikmin are super immune to it which is nice you know always giving white pickling more I'm gonna wipe pickling more things to do is good um this boss is also kind of cool because like it it spawns like if you destroyed these mushrooms it'll come back and respawn them like after a while um maybe not by one specifically yeah you see he's walking over there he might start respawn like he might respawn them after it uh gets up here let's see yes it does during response yeah see that's super cool like the puff still got super nerfed with how its behaves in this game where it just makes Pikmin dance instead talk still is pretty great um I think it's a like if they brought this in instead of the puff stool and not brought the puff still back I would have been okay with that um Talk still is a good extension of it um I think that it would have been better if it got fought before the Puffs tool I don't know um I'm just glad it's here I'm glad they're both here and it like it's not just a recolor it's also a retexture which you know it's small things like that that matter a lot uh to me whether or not I like something um but it having the extra you know the extra design on its on its cap goes a long way multi dwarf bullborg these guys are actually really cool I love their design um and I I like I always like mushrooms or like fungus taking over stuff you'll see they actually do take quite a bit of it to actually get rid of um but they're never going to be particularly frightening and of course when they actually realize it they aren't going to be able to take them out um the way that I usually got with these guys was true uh ouchy I would just kind of you know um um but yeah they're good they're really good and even I um I think they're probably like my favorite of the new ballboards introduced I love the design the the dark eyes with the uh the blue around it and the idea of just this fungus taking over their brain I'm a big fan of that moldy salooch on the other hand I don't really feel the same though about I mean I don't feel strongly about the sleech to begin with I think it's a cool enemy but I don't think it's uh anything right home but deciding to have them of all the magic switch has one of the other movie villains um stitches a little bit of an underwhelming Choice um I mean it gets quite a few Pikmin it's also very much not threatening and if white pick my nerve I'll take it down that quickly that's a little bit of a problem um so I'm going to actually put the multi-sleach at seat here as well not my favorite the pork with Lion somebody is supposed to kind of be like the middle ground between like an enemy and a boss um I've compared it to the Gatling groin in the past um where it does these distance shots and later in the game it gets put on a Ledge so you can't just charge it like so [Music] really actually in pale Pikmin um but there are a few laid back that's quite sad and scary when they actually do it so definitely an enemy that like had potential and I think it could have really benefited through a um a new variant similar to the uh the talk steel it's like an additional one you can take quite a few hits um but its spikes are so slow that it's never gonna really do too much I think it's a good enemy but I'm not gonna put it any higher than b tier obviously I'm not basing things on how threatening they are but I don't know something about this thing it's a little bit underwhelming to me um it's good it's just not great now this is going to be super unfair um but I like the icy blowhog a lot uh in comparison to like the blizzarding blowhog something about it leaving an extra pool behind afterwards and actually moving your Pikmin at distance it just adds a little bit more challenge where if you were to put this thing also it flies so you can't just rush it immediately if you were to put this thing in like an actual room with other enemies I'm going to probably be a nuisance um I don't think it actually ends up being combined with other enemies but it's definitely way better than the other two blowhogs um I'm willing to put it in the B tier I like it a lot um I like new variants of certain things it's just that the the other blow Hogs like the the ice and the or sorry the snowy and the blizzarding they're kind of underwhelming this thing also not great but at least it has a little bit more flavor and I mean I like the texture it's it's a nice texture it's okay I I like it a lot more than uh the other two though so I'm I'm putting it in B next up is a chili hop now now you know me I'm the big lollipop fan and I love this thing I love it a lot do I love it enough to qualify it for this tra tier I mean that's the most Pikmin that I've I've seen kill us so far in this game um it's cool and I mean it's ice lasts for quite a while but like that's never going to be a problem because you have no cheat ice being left on the floor doesn't really do anything um but it's it's good I mean it's a good extension of the of the world it's hot that's a post I like it um I'm I'm biased I'm very biased I'm extremely biased like it's not that great not at all but I'm putting a nest here because I just like the fact that Wally Hobbs finally got a new variant after four Pikmin games like it hasn't gotten any very since the first game and like is probably the most threatening ice enemy aside from the Ice Bowl board um I just kind of wish I had a little bit more going on like in terms of its design it's just a complete recolor of the Wally hop yellow Wally hop um I think it would have been more suited as the regular Wally hop if it were based on this design instead um just because it is found in caves um this is similar to this Wally hop which is only found in caves and then on top of that um the yellow wall job also gets the master hop in this game which like come on dude this thing's so cool but it's so bad like wow that's really sad um let's take a peek at just how many Pikmin this thing can actually take down at once um the full Army and one white um okay to go over there stay for now let's see how anything really can take out at once okay quite a bit I just didn't seem like it because it missed the first time I guess yeah so it can be a little bit threatening um but it really isn't much of a boss um I like how it's utilized in olimar's Side Story it's added to an area where um there are like two other yellow lollipops with it um and then I also like it's boss fight in the one area is uh like if it lands it creates a water puddle I think if it had more health and was a little bit more threatening I could like it a lot more um but I mean come on it still is here like I just love Wally Hops and it's just a bigger lollipop another problem like this is this is absurd by us like realistically I would put both of these in like this would be at most eighth year low a this would be B um but they're both asked here because I am the Wally hop guy um I think that both of them could use a different design as well I don't know like frogs are pretty popular in Japan to have like crowns and be like frog Kings and stuff right I think it'd be cool to see this as like a frog King with some sort of crown maybe coming on top of it so like um I don't know maybe you have to assert aim your Pikmin at a certain spot um similar to the emperable blacks where you like you can't hit behind it you have to hit it from the front I don't know just a way to make it a little bit more threatening uh would go a long way the prickle puff is an enemy um that I can't do anything about it because I don't have any blue Pikmin so let's change that our whites perished in the fight that's fine get the 50 blue so this is a really cool fish enemy it doesn't really you know it's not particularly threatening um but I I mean I was wondering like what this thing would do but this stabbing like come on that's cool that's cool like it's not threatening or scary or difficult but it's it's a nice fish design and I like that it's just like a kind of like a puffer fish yeah um pufferfish Pikmin anime cool idea generally really cool idea um I'm gonna put an eight year I like it a lot I think I think it's real fun um a lot of eighthier enemies um next up The aristocrab Offspring um so we got a lot of Middle Ground enemies in this game between us the uh bulldore like the the baby full board uh and then the um what's the other dude okay this can actually attack or is he solely bubble I I can't tell [Applause] okay so he can't they can't attack um these are good you know we're getting like middle grounds like between us the the Downy snag writ and then the um the albino larva this is a really good addition um but again similar to those three like these are like the the three dudes um so I'm only gonna put it in B tier just like the other two I think it's better than those two um even though it is literally just a a shrunken down peckish or Instagram it doesn't really get it's um doesn't get much of a personality but like I don't know if the peckish Aristocrat actually has the um [Music] but you know it's it's a good okay so it does yeah and this thing is like come on this is one of the best remedies oh charge oh no you can't do that one of the best enemies uh in the game a group chucker okay so this thing is so cool it's so large and terrifying but it really just doesn't do anything like you you knock the Pikmin out it just kind of lays there and like it's so big in menacing but it just okay we'll grab what is that two Pikmin put in its head and like what why are they still up there like what is why is it taking so long for them to perish this thing had so much potential to just be like an actual threat and there it goes it needs some finally but it just takes way too long oh it's so cool it's so cool it's just so not threatening um that is disappointing so I'm gonna put at the top of it I think it is one of my favorite enemies in the game like come on what a great design although it does kind of have questionable lips at the top in terms of design but it's such a cool enemy um it really is so definitely still a tier it's just it's a little bit underwhelming I wish it did a little bit more uh with everything it does it's just like I remember seeing it in the final area and be like that is the coolest thing ever just ugh sad don't trusted rump up I love this thing a lot it uh like this is this is a good Pikmin enemy it's like get behind it and pack it and like it might take a few moments before you're actually able to get down once you get down though it's okay yeah it continues it looks threatening by any means but like it's a cool cool mini boss I like it um I think it's really good even it's got an extremely cool design uh so it's definitely extra for me um I didn't put in top three it's like it's so freaking cool look at this thing um it's it's kind of got like a Venus flytrap-esque math as well and it's very very good it's such a good enemy design um the bloom cap blister this is such a good extension of the um like look it even follows you the same way good a good extension of the um the ranging boister for a game that doesn't really allow for the ranging Blazer to exist it has to notice you and then it will start like relentlessly going for you and once again yeah attack them you see it's actually quite difficult to get um I am I I'm trying to cheat it and I'm still struggling and then once it actually does it has this defensive mechanism [Music] yeah like it's a it's a good enemy obviously though uh Jesus yeah this is really cool this thing's really good the loom clamp voice it's a really good extension of the blister um I'm also gonna put a nest uh it's a good challenge um good design like really cool design it's got that nice shell on its back essentially that folds up and it just kind of cracks you down it's it's quite terrifying so yeah it's good very good enemy um and then there's only one left uh aside from final boss the bog swallow this thing is weird um so this thing it just kind of exists I mean it's kind of like the opposite of a Canon Beetle oh bring your Pikmin in I think you actually can eat them but for the most part it brings the end of the swamp into the mud um just to be a little bit of a problem yeah I can't eat them it's a good design I mean it really complements the mud and you can't rush it you're forced to you're forced to attack it from a distance um not only endangering yourself but like you have to risk your pick than going into the mud um so I remember when I first saw it it was quite random a lot of people aren't going to want to have to fight it like that um because they don't want their Pikmin to start drowning so the Box wall is quite good um I I'll put an eighth here I don't like it's designed that much though um but I think it's a good mud enemy um final boss is asked here it's really good and uh Moss is also asked here um just put that out there now plus we'll start with um Moss is such a cool idea kind of this extra thing that uh skills your Pikmin kind of like the antenna beetle it's got so much personality I love massive this is your pickling and it takes them back to its base until you knock it out so you know cool cool way to deal with it and then actually being the only enemy in the game that actually revives after you take it out really cool and the ancient sire Hound uh was just like a really fun final boss fight hello and I think it's cool that you can do the full thing I assume you can do this it wasn't particularly challenging but I think there's a really good box they're both really good so here is the tier list um can I hear this ad oh okay yeah there are a lot of good enemies um let's quickly order them uh uh [Music] this is mostly fine um rub Checker is my favorite yep yep a lot off over there puff stool or your talk stool up here with these guys I like it a lot that's right um put the line's really good I see blowhog's not that great this dudes also definitely not that great Scorch kicks yeah they're all good there test blowhog yeah these these four enemies here that I'm I'm currently hovering like these are all like mandatory new additions that just kind of make the game you know a little bit more mid game like there's a little bit more challenge they're all kind of good designs um I'm gonna put the Tesla look at the top though I think that it is really quite quite cool the jumbo bulb orb is probably the most disappointing video game just kidding Titan blog exists Blizzard's a little cooler just because it's a new design regular snowy Bowl board blowhog I honestly prefer it just because it's not jumbled up um search is good I prefer honestly this guy this guy's uh he's he's weird I like him a lot okay I like them a lot more than any of these enemies pretty good though this is ordered there we go so there's my Pikmin for new enemies tier list um great game uh spectacular enemy editions I mean honestly when it comes to uh to new enemies this game definitely delivered some of the best Series has ever seen um and I'd love to see some of them either ported to Pikmin 2 or I'd love to see how mods incorporate them in Pikmin 4. um just because wow this this game was you know it brought a lot in I know that the Scorch cakes are already being ported over down a snagit has been uh recorded a little bit I believe at least it's also begun I'm curious what else might be oh the um switch which will be nice bring giving white Pikmin more to do I like The Moldy enemies you know giving the white Pikmin more um threatening enemies because they only really had the doodle books before and then the weevils hello probably clam for him you're almost like a new enemy munch um yeah thanks for uh thanks for watching I I appreciate it a thing that's just that's just facts but I like by a lot I like this guy more though these two are interchangeable they're so good I like this one design I like fighting The Groovy long legs the most
