Picking Up a MINT Yamaha Yz 250 Dirt Bike (So Clean)

alright guys I was just selling my lawnmower and a great deal at Facebook marketplace popped up it's in 1998 Yamaha yz250 mint condition thing looks so clean cleans might have ever seen in the pictures at least it looks super clean but it was up for 1500 bucks I offered 13 and he said sure so he lived in Green Bay and I'm gonna go pick it up it's a great deal right now with dirt bikes going for like 25 you can't find out why z250 for like less than 2,000 anywhere so it's a great deal especially since it's super clean the whole new plastics graphics brakes I mean I had a ton of work done and he's selling for thirty hundred bucks so I'm pumped about this one you don't get these deals very often and I figured why not go pick it up I might have missed out on the deal for the lawnmower but I think the dirt bikes more important anyway we're gonna be loading it in the back of the truck and that will we'll get home wrap it around a bit and see what she sounds like stay tuned gonna be a good bike alright about 34 minutes out get closer hopefully this could be a good bike the guys said that ran perfect started out perfect first couple kicks said you went over the brakes went over the entire system new new graphics new plastics new seat cover I mean I don't I don't care how he's selling it for 1,300 bucks so we'll see if there's gonna be something wrong with it some look at over usually I look over the bearings the air filter a cool just to see if that's lower or not the oil make sure it's not white make sure the coolant pump is working and yeah that's usually what I look for they look at tire tread see if that looks good that's basically when maybe looking for hopefully turns out to be a pretty good bike and I guess we'll see in 33 minutes all right guys you're not gonna believe this this bike is literally the queenís 1998 Yamaha 250 I've ever seen it is immaculate has tons of upgrades sitting back there give me a full box of parts for it and then he gave me a brand new stand for it as well and it Forks right there I mean I got a great deal on at 1,300 bucks thing is just immaculate he said that he had back surgery and that he couldn't ride anymore he just got rid of his Yamaha rafter 700 he got rid of his Raptor 350 I think it was and then he's getting rid of his lifted truck because he can't get into it anymore so I mean that it's just insane how Kalina says you won't believe how big of a deal this was probably one of my best deals it's it's spotless he did tons and tons of upgrades to it I think he's got like a new clutch in there all new plastics graphics tires see cover bars grips everything's brand new you'll see it's just insane it was like about an hour five minute ride so it wasn't too bad I'll probably put all the parts up on lap to.com if you guys were looking for any parts probably put them up for pretty good prices so if you guys have a 1998 yz250 parts will be up on flap to calm so definitely go check those up but we're gonna be getting home here pretty soon just turning down my road and we'll take a quick look at the bike fire it up it started first kick when I was there and yeah it's gonna be a pretty sweet bike alright guys just got back from picking up the yz250 probably the cleanest one I've ever picked up absolutely spotless for a 98 all-new plastics brand new seat cover before us reads factory racing voice and cover Tusk shifter we've got the Tusk foot pegs brand new sprocket and chain it's got new what's it called primary drive chain guider all new bearings it's got the race tech Forks I mean it's spotless it's it's crazy looks like a new air filter housing and everything as well it's really good shape new hoses new aluminum radiator see what else he's got tires are good probably 70% left on the tires looks like a painted frame that looks like he's got boys and clutch Tusker break right here Gold Series fatty pipe and shorty see brand-new [Music] really nice ProTaper bars brand-new grips and levers non-breakable levers I mean it's it's spotless really really good deal for this bike oh yeah and then you got the new brake pads new brakes this is new updated suspension you've got the razor's on the bars the guy was like six probably like six six so he needed those on there he can take those off though if you want new grips I mean it's it's spotless and it starts up first kick I mean look how nice everything is and then it comes with this is like the best part comes with the original forks for it original handlebars FMF shorty pipe really good condition no dents at all for handlebars all the original plastics for it sounds a little bit crooked probably sitting in the box front fender in good shape another I think this is the original shorty pipe right here in good shape yeah no dents yeah well that's in good shape too original throttle cable brake rotor good shape looks like brand new carburetor he said he never used this carburetor got brand new got brand new carburetor what else we got yeah here's the Bruins hyper thing I was here for those bars we've got let's see looks like we got some reeds in here yep the original reads all those look good to you that's awesome and then we've got the hand guards two of those Wow lots of parts oh we got the pipe in there too radiator guards manual looks like a new manual another manual barely is let's see race tech something high-performance shocks Springs oh wow so he put a new shock in the back to new shocks spring in the back wow that's awesome it's a new shock spring so he completely redid this whole bike brand new brake pads here the original foot pegs original shot guards rode your guard mower brake pads brand new original grips with all the levers Wow shaft Springs must have redone those and it kicks and another kickstand plastics and the pipe is Wow pipe is really nice too check that out one tiny dent in it Wow sweet good stock pipes are hard to find then what else you come with a couple of their little pieces and that came with a sweet stand - I love these stands I've got another one like it so that'll make two of those stands now one more look at the bike I mean it's just spotless such a good deal 1,300 bucks it's crazy but I will get off the truck and try starting it out [Music] alright here's the bike pretty sweet looks like the petcock might be leaking a little bit but not a big deal well walk around absolutely spotless I can't find one flaw with it it's crazy all new graphics the only flaw I can see is the wrinkles in the seat it's really isn't that bad check out how clean the motor is it's insanely spotless check the oil watch it be milky that would suck brand-new oil in there look at that all right guys let's attempt to start this thing up when I first got there sorry first kick so we'll see I'll put the choke on choke is right over here we'll try it with the choke on first see if it starts the first kick here alright see there's one drop of oil coming on in here not a big deal though I think it's just leaking out of this seal right here probably just need to be tightened up alright let's see Sydnee kicks it takes [Music] [Music] oh yeah first kick probably those perfectly sounds pretty good the over idling going down the motor everything seems really played on no leaking [Music] alright let's take her for a little test drive [Music] [Music] [Music] and she rips really good first and second gear lifts up easily dang it's it's really really high - it's definitely for a tall rider I'll show you guys how I sit on it just seems really really high which is good but it's definitely raised suspension for sure because I'm 6 1 and 3/4 and I can barely tiptoe on it and yeah definitely raised suspension it's a big bike very big bike probably the best running bike I've ever had right here the clutch is so smooth grabs instantly no hesitation at all man it's really nice I might have to keep this one it is smooth will rip it down the road here quick [Music] [Music] [Music] all right just get them to ride first ride on absolutely insane lifts up every year definitely has been rebuilt it is insanely peppy I'm up it's like big board or what but as a crazy amount of power so nice I think it might be my new favorite bike here man it is so smooth man it looks so nice look at that thing but yeah pretty happy with the purchase next video we'll pick up for a rip in the back see if she can handle take the GoPro long and should be pretty fun I'll be posting all the parts up on lap 2 calm go check them out we've got the original pipe we've got the shorty pipe I think we've got like three different or two different shorty pipes in one stock normal pipe you've got the forks so if you guys are looking for Forks let me know I've got the foot pegs
