PDF to Anki Flashcards Using AI #gpt

day one of trying to build something useful with AI as a medical student so what's the problem to solve one of my medical student friend has suggested creating flashcards from lecture slides is a really tedious and takes hours to do so what if we could use large language models to automatically generate Anki cards from our lecture side so today I use the streamlit and python framework and built a web application like users can essentially upload their PDFs which are their lectures or notes uploaded press the generate button and it generates the flash card but the 161 lines of python does splits a PDF into chunks then reads each jump passes it to the open AI creates a flashcard in a specified format and processes each chunked and repeats for each chunk gonna try out yourself it's at tamman.hk slash pdf2 and
