PATTERNING THE MOSSBERG .410😳😳😳 at Hollis Farms

hi Jason Hollis farms today hadn't done just a ton today you know it'll come a little shower or a mile ago a pretty good shower actually you're supposed to do it again here in a little while but got the turkey target out I'm gonna hang it up and then explain to y'all what we're fixing the thing this is gonna be interesting this is brand new to me so but I've been wanting to do it so I'll be right back so here's what we got got the turkeys target set up got my trigger stick set up all right y'all I got y'all set up on a tripod now all right I took my rangefinder rains the turkey target 40 yards and the trigger stick set up sat in a good comfortable spot what we're going to be patterning today and I ain't got a ton of these shells so I'm just gonna shoot one time this is a little Mossberg for 10 Oh the barrel is stock from the factory hadn't done any custom work no custom choke tubes or nothin full barrel full barrel I have killed turkeys with this gun and 20 to 25 yard 25 yards is max and you got to hold it dead on them so if y'all watch me last year turkey hunt all pretty much a hundred percent swap to 20 gates shooting this new TSS shot the tungsten or whatever so what I got a family to build me I'm not gonna mention his name because I don't know if he wants to build for the public or not for 10 PSAs three-inch I'm not sure how many pellets are in them I believe these were gonna be number nines I've seen a lot of people I had a buddy of Mines that shot him last year and 40 yards 45 yards they were deadly but he did have a little browning with screwy and chokes in it thank God I forget where he got the choke from but anyway kind of a custom Dyke type deal Pete come here peach done got to where he's roaming a little bit I don't want to mace him up too bad cuz he's trying to hunt a little bit but anyway I've arranged it for 10 I'm wanting to build Kody a little going and I may use this one before it's over with but I kinda I'd this guns pretty rough I used to carry it with me hog hunting and slugs and shoot up hogs if I had to so it's pretty cool I got her sprayed up and kind of freed up it was just about gold it up Pete come here let's go rambling oh man want to watch him he's down there by the muse anyway I'm just gonna shoot it one time and we'll look at the pattern at 40 yards I know it's good at 30 and it may be good on out to about 50 but we're gonna do 40 and count the pellets the target that I got set up down there I'll turn y'all around and soon I'm pretty sure it's one of those that changes colors when you shoot it and shows you the pellet holes I mean that's a long way y'all see how far we zoomed in 40 yards is a long way for turkeys especially for a little 410 paint come here he's gonna be a hunting a little joker if I laid him all right I'm all set y'all up behind me I got y'all on this tripod I hadn't improved with this thing since deer season I'm trying to get back used to it oh alright let me turn again I'm gonna put y'all right behind me and then we'll shoot and then we'll look at the pattern all right I got y'all setting up right behind me I'm gonna go ahead and use this trigger speed we want to be dead-on and I'm gonna go ahead and put my earplugs in because I don't want my ears to be ringing looks like it's fixing to rain again so we're gonna hurry up and get this shot off and then we'll study on we may have to shoot again because I got in a hurry and I believe I pulled let's zoom in down there before we go get to Target see if I even hit the thigh I may have pulled our way off that thing I've gotten such a big herd let's go down there loose all right so there wasn't very many that child zoomed out there was not very many pellets in there at all there were some in the lower right hand corner I don't know if I pulled or what I got to get used to shooting this gun it's kind of got a short pole on me cause its youth model but I moved up to 30 yards and I'm gonna bear down this time and it's going may end up needing to have a kind of a custom choke deal in it to get out there to 40 45 but you know we're gonna shoot a 410 so we want them in their clothes see anyways that's the part of the turkey hunting anyway so anyway I think it's been the rain I'm fixing to put this thing behind me again and go shoot it Hey come on get feet back up here you wanna check the turkey target down come on all right we got a bear down hurt nothing hoarse Pete's hurt by shooting deer Cafe fine hope going don't bother Pete too bad zoom in on that and see if we did any better I think we might have done better that time shot a little low all right I'm gonna go get that target we're gonna check it out all right so here's what we got when I shot it 40 there was a couple here and a lot of the pattern was over here that was my fault and when I shot it 30 this is pretty much what it did which would I hammered him I mean what I've knocked him off the floor one thing I do know is the 14 I thought what that TSS it would kick a little hard but it's not really bad at all them little lightweight 20 gauges that I'm shooting now my Benelli and the little Remington 870 they will stomp you with that TSS they're so like but I think Cody you'll like this and you get one in there 30 35 yards he's spitting a smoke him and this TSS shoots so hard one of those turkeys [ __ ] shot last year she shot at writing a wing and it just smoked him at like 45 yards so that's the good thing about the TSS as it hit so hard oh I do I have I thought I would never like them but I really like the red dot little red dot scope the one I run I think I use on that 20 guys I think it's a true glow or whatever it is it wasn't like 90 bucks compared to some of those higher dollar ones that are three or four hundred dollars if you the job and the thing about it you're just spot-on every time and I mean we can all shoot a shotgun but that preciseness at distances especially with this little gun I've got - I know it can be done and we'll get a guy to either build us another 874 10 or Mossberg whichever one we can make work and put a little red dot on it I think that'll be super for Cody oh but that right there with four four ten is not bad I hadn't counted them yeah but there's art on a shot right in there at 30 yards I know at 40 45 it'll kill one it don't take that one like that in the right place and it'll kill him so I'm pretty happy with it very happy actually with so we got the 410 Mossberg patterns with the 3-inch tss number nines I believe what's in there this camera I'm using I hadn't used in a long time I'm it's this little Sony it's a little different than the GoPro but I really like it this is what it will be using to film all these turkey hunts with so anyway I am gonna get some dogs and stuff they had mules and horses for this rain comes through again feel like I still subscribe to his house farms hats t-shirts and stickers Hollis farms calm appreciate ya'll watching out of here
