Pathfinder: WotR - Unlocking The Gold Dragon Mythic Path

[Music] what's going on everybody mortum here this time bringing you a video on how to unlock the gold dragon mythic path for pathfinder wrath of the righteous now a few things to get out of the way just right off the bat there will be some minor spoilers but nothing for the main plot obviously to explain how to do this i do have to explain some things that with the game launching today i want to make very clear are technically tiny spoilers for a specific quest but i will be avoiding the main plot in its entirety and mentioning as little as humanly possible moreover while i was given access to a review copy which is what allowed me to make these videos for content ahead of time what i don't have access to is the full mythic path mechanic the late game mythic paths there are four of them in total i'll send you on a quest to reset your mythic path choices up to that point basically which then gives you access to the mechanics for the mythic path you just chose but those quests aren't accessible with the copy i was given so i will be doing a video later about those specific mechanics i do want to know a little bit about them of course the stuff you get right when you choose the mythic path so i will be going over that but with no further ado let's talk about how to actually unlock the gold dragon so in the very first dungeon where the game starts which is caves beneath canabras right when you start out you'll find two scales of tyrindelev they're very shiny they're incredibly hard to miss there's two of them you technically only need one they also function as a like early game revive spell with a drawback however do not use them to revive them you need them well you need at least one save that scale once you meet a man named the storyteller who is part of the main plot you will then be able to give him the scale of torundelev and he'll tell you more about tyrindelev which is a silver dragon he will go on to explain that he can tell you more if you find more items that used to belong to this dragon however we can't do anything else until we reach act 2 specifically a place called leper's smile in leopard's smile there is a cave in that cave you will find torindale's second object a claw that used to belong to her now you can't go straight to the storyteller with this claw because you don't meet him again until acts three in act three as again part of the main story you will encounter the storyteller at this point you are able to give him the claw and this will reveal the location of tyrindelle's lair you need to go to that layer you will meet a man named hal after you fight some cultists you need to do what hal says because hal as he reveals in this conversation is a gold dragon attacking him or basically displeasing him in any way will lock you out of this mythic path so even if it's not like your thing or what your role playing your character has if you want the gold dragon go along with what house says which is to spare the cultist now that's all you can do this will not come up again until right before you make your late game mythic path choice you will run into hal again he's not here then obviously you did something wrong and probably didn't spare the cultist right before you get to your mythic rank 8 choice you will meet hal again you'll be given the option to attack him don't obviously continue to just be nice to him and then when you get to your mythic rank eight choice you'll have the option of gold dragon pretty straightforward but the side quest is called the dragon's fate you have to complete it to unlock this and you have to complete it in a way that is polite to howl basically and doing what he wants you to do now once this option is available and you've chosen the gold dragon option you will immediately be given access to your own gold dragon form and they also give you just a ton of benefits all your weapons are treated as plus fives all your attributes get raised to a base 14 if they're not already however if you're unaware gold dragons are very much so good characters they are considered guardians of the world in a lot of ways so role play-wise if that's important to you gold dragons are very much so good characters and honestly just very strong mechanics here right out of the gate but i can't really tell you more than that because again i don't have access to it but there you go guys there's how to access the gold dragon if you're interested in the other three late game mythic pass the legend the swarm that walks or the devil actually videos on how to unlock those paths should have gone up today so just check my channel and you should find them there for you as well so thank you so much for watching may wander in wisdom and have an amazing day [Music]
