beginning the ending the one who is the one who was the one who is to come the almighty god wonderful counselor mighty god everlasting father praise of peace glory glory glory glory be to your holy name please accept our worship in jesus name tonight my father my god in the lives of every one of your children exceed all their expectations [Applause] in jesus mighty name we have prayed amen unless someone shout hallelujah [Applause] i wave at one or two people and say good evening god bless you exceedingly and then before you sit down tell one or two people wash your face and there you may be seated thank you be to god let's be let's be certain thank you [Applause] second kings chapter 2 [Applause] you are not hearing no wonder the speaker of yesterday said that it will bribe the [Applause] they sound people with three books i don't have three books to bribe you with [Applause] i can only say let everybody here so that god can bless you exceedingly can you all hear me now if you cannot hear you are the only one to shout hallelujah [Applause] all right all right before i go to my message i want to thank god for your lives i want to thank god [Music] i want to thank god for the lives of your leaders and i pray that the almighty god will bless you all but you need to wash your face [Applause] because the elders are watching you when you tell them that the church is yours that you will soon take over they are watching to see if you have the capacity to do so because there's something they call a show of force if they look at you and many of them are watching and you say you are having a youth convention and you cannot even feel the old editorial they think you are joking if you want to show them that you are about to take over by now not only should the old auditorium be full by now you should be at least taking over about half of the new by thursday night you see i know that we have about 2 000 plus churches in oklahoma state and i know that at least 70 percent of the members are youth and young adults meaning that if those youth and young adults are at this convention organ say hello this place should be almost full when you now add on your state this place should be full if you add legal state [Applause] so turn the fellow next to you wash your face you've washed your face anoint your face and text every one of your friends that latest by four o'clock tomorrow they should be on the campground let us show these elders we thank you for what you have done we thank you that does far you have led us we thank you for all your efforts in the redemption church of god but we are here to take over let's show them let there be a show of false if you have the youth convention you can't even feel one third of the old auditorium and you say you are here to take over [Music] hey wash your face [Applause] so tax every one of your friends you know your state in oklahoma state in lagos state at least those who are not too far away tell them before four o'clock tomorrow you must be here it is then the elders will say okay okay maybe they are really coming god bless you i say god bless you let me also say one thing because this is a family meeting you are my children i am oh i know everybody calls me daddy including emias but i know you are my primary children and so i have to be your coach and i've told you your coach cannot be your friend you know why not because your friends are satisfied with the way you are that's why they are your friends best of the same father flock together but your coach is never satisfied with where you are he wants you to go higher and higher and higher because there is nowhere you have reached that you cannot get higher nowhere some people think that i have arrived i have not started [Applause] moses did not start his ministry until the age of 80. so probably i might begin to start by next year and since i have not yet started and it is where i stop that you are going to start [Applause] it means you haven't even started at all [Applause] and whether you believe it or not you are going to be greater than i so let me tell you one thing very important and i have no apologies because i am your coach whenever something is advertised whenever a product is praised and advertised for a long time you can be sure that it hasn't got much worse nobody advertises honey if you see advertisement about honey anywhere why because only sweet whether you advertise it or not it is sweet nobody advertises royce royce why there is no need rice rice is royce royce as good as mercedes-benz is the advertise it why when they want to make an aeroplane they don't use the engine of a mercedes-benz he can't carry it they use the engine of royce royce so when somebody comes and begins to introduce a speaker and spend minutes he said this is that you know immediately there is no stuff coming next time you hear oh beautiful things being said about the speaker pray i say god have mercy on me today no apologies i'm doing my job as a coach every one of my children will end up excellent [Applause] exceeding all expectations i mean people will come across you and they say we know this fellow has been with passover debris you will be excellent [Applause] all right now let me let me go to the little message i have for tonight we'll reserve the rest tomorrow second kings chapter 2 from verse 9 to 15 and it came to pass when they were gone over that elijah said unto elijah ask what i shall do for thee before i be taken away from thee and elisha said i pray thee let a double portion of thy spirit be upon me and he said that was as a hard thing nevertheless if thou see me when i am taken from thee it shall be sown to thee but if not it shall not be so and it came to pass as they still went on and talked that behold they appeared a chariot of fire and horses of fire and parted them both asunder and elijah went up by a while went into heaven and elisha saw it and he cried my father my father the chariot of israel and the horsemen they are off and he saw him no more and he took hold of his own clothes and rent them in two pieces he took up also the mantra of elijah that fell from him and went back and stood by the bank of jordan and he took the mantra of elijah that fell from him and smote the waters and said where is the lord god of elijah and when he also has smitten in the waters they parted his feeder and elisha went over and when the sons of the prophets which were to view and jericho saw him they said the spirit of elijah doth rest on elijah and they came to meet him and bow themselves to the ground before him i decree in the name that's above every other name christians from every other denomination will bow before you i don't have all the time to say everything i would love to say but i prayed that god will guide me to say just enough to set you on fire for him [Applause] because apart from the lord jesus christ one of the best examples of a youth or a young adult who exceeded expectations is elijah so from him we can learn that a youth who wants to exceed expectations must meet certain criteria number one he must have a father he must have the father one father now that he doesn't how many fathers the only thing that i know that has more than one father is a demon every true human being is produced by one father one how do we learn that from this elijah cried when elijah was being taken away my father my father years ago enough the elder staff would have had me share this [Music] somebody was trying to introduce himself he said mark murdoch with his father this friend of this fellow his father another fellow his father and pastor i said don't join me to them i'm not the father of a demon only one father oh you could honor elder brothers with the title of daddy fine but a child must have how many fathers and then the fellow must treat that father with extra ordinary respect and honor you're not going to hear something tonight that will tickle your ears but i'm going to tell you something that will cause you to excel i had a father i can die on me of blessed memory as my father [Applause] i have been tremendously blessed by the ministries of some people notably kinetic and one or two others but my father remains one just one father the lord himself the lord jesus christ our eldest brother the firstborn of our father [Applause] when he was teaching the disciples to pray in matthew chapter 6 verse 9-10 matthew 6 9-10 he said this is how you pray our father in other words he tells us straight away only one father is my father is your father he said hallelujah be thy name your name must be honored by father and then he went to die kingdom come not my darling papa in john chapter 14 verse 28 john 14 verse 28 he said openly my father is greater than i that's the lord talking about his father our father in john 14 verse 10 john 14 verse 10 he said the works that i do is not me doing it is my father my father so you must have a father you must honor that father your entire purpose must be to his find the work of that father and so you must submit to the father completely in first king chapter 19 from verse 19 to 21 first king chapter 19 from verse 17 to 21 the moment the mantra of elijah fell on elijah for the first time where he was walking in the farm immediately he foreso called and followed his new father he knew immediately the old father is gone now and he never came back home never referred back to the old father i am where i am today because by the grace of god i started hearing from god early that god i serve we open your ears tonight he told me early this man [Applause] who never went to school is your father that i've chosen for you you follow him in fact he told me in clear times i have phd papaw didn't go to school he knew the bible from beginning to the end because god poured it into his head is with your phd and all this is the man you follow he told me clearly the day you leave him your first born will die [Applause] plain simple truth that's why i stayed i became born again at a time when [Applause] [Music] ministries were being born when every deacon hardy would come and say we don't we don't want to belong to any denomination we just want to start a ministry god told me this is where you stay man i obeyed i followed that father i did whatever i said i should do that's where i'm where i am today oh i could have started my own ministry long ago way back in 1977 i had a program christ the dreamers congress in malaysia grammar school people came from all over nigeria i collected the the names of all secondary school and teacher training colleges and i invited them all and they came i could have taken over from there that goes here this is the one for you to follow and he had given instructions that hey my brain couldn't understand [Applause] mathematician the god who knows the end from the beginning said this is where you go so if some of you say you hear from god and god asks you to go and start your own ministry congratulations let's see how far you will go in second king chapter two from verse one to eight second king chapter two from verse one to eight three times elijah told elijah go back stay here god has sent me somewhere else he said sorry sir i'm not being disobedient but wherever you go i go because you two you are now entering into his you are living in a period when everyday can hurry is hearing from god and they are becoming general overseers because the end is near the bible is clear before the lord returns there must be a fall away first i pray you won't perish with the world in matthew chapter 26 verse 41 matthew 26 41 jesus christ said not my will but dying be done was talking to his father so i don't like what is about to happen to me but i surrender i don't have time to tell you stories tonight that there was someone who had his own plan as to how he's going to do ministry etc etc and then the almighty god sent a message to him like you are hearing by the time god finished with him he said lord anywhere anytime at any cost they will be done do it beyond the call of duty and i am saying this because god himself had almost chastised me for treating you my children too lightly because by the grace of god he has given me the spirit of contentment i am satisfied by the time we had no no money to buy meat on this camp my wife and we were satisfied at a time when we didn't have two naira to go to lagos because in those days there was two gates and you have to pay one naira going one hour coming we were satisfied as a result of this deep satisfaction the lord made it clear to me and i shared it with some of you my lady is here you love me declared to me i'm robbing some of you of your blessings because you should honor your father i shared with you when i was coming around telling you when isaac said to esau what prepared me for me it wasn't because isaac was hungry he wasn't so that he could release something that money could not buy i know your parents are not your father the bible said elijah wasn't just preparing the food for elijah when it is time for him to eat he won't even allow him to wash his hand by himself he will pour water on his head we're talking about somebody who's going to excel who is going to exceed expectations in john chapter 17 from verse 1 to 8 john 14 from verse 13 jesus christ said i have glorified you now father glorify me glorify your father and the almighty god has pleased him the ability for you to glorify this state i mean return focus on your father focus and if you think i'm deliberately drawing attention to myself it means you lack understanding if you had noticed me very well by now you will know that the people who irritate me the most are photographers why they want to take pictures who cares about me i don't want to be seen i only want christ to be seen that's all that's all i'm interested in oh i know there are other people if the when the photographer is looking the direction they will pose i'm not interested they don't want to god knows you're my children i'm telling you the truth i want to hide i want only christ to be seen and the thing you are going to discover is this if you project him and him alone he will project you he said if i be lifted up i will draw all men to myself years ago we dedicated the christian center we used to call it a kumenica center in abuja and all manners of bishops and archbishops were there that day everybody came from allah and they were addressing their very beautiful robes and i want you to know i love those robes before i became born again and i went in my normal way you know how i went my friendship when it was time to file out they didn't nobody struggled to touch the high bishops even the bishops were trying to talk to me those who went with me and there were soldiers among them they had a tough time getting me into my car i don't want to be seen i don't want to be known i only want christ and him alone to be no now you better take note of that that's why when i look at some of your presentations on on television i wonder do you know where you are going because i see some of you some of the musicians they want to show they want they want people to know that i am the one with the best voice oh sing i raised the dead man the lost daddy i have glorified be my father glorified focus on your father elijah said to elijah if you see me when i be taken away from you you get what you ask for in the middle of the night around 30 am between 2 and 4 i met some of you right here do you think i was doing scrolling i was praying and i was happy that some of them were praying too and some of them were phony some of them were talking i even saw about four of them at interior boys are one girl and they were chatting they were joking three am in the night if i if i wasn't deeply involved in the prayer i would have said go to sleep if you can do something useful with your night go to bed [Applause] but i was interceding for the youth convention i don't want some people who don't know where they are going to interrupt i have listened to the preachers they kept on saying something again and again some of you may not know what they are saying they themselves might not even know what they are saying they kept on saying things are about to change [Music] in your life things are about to change no more fooling around [Applause] you can't exceed expectations if you are for us and on one occasion i have to quarry with some people who are doing some recording for me brought their camera showing me under something and that time they will zoom in and then they will zoom out one moment my head is small next moment my head is big what's going on we are not in the clubhouse this is the house of god messages coming out and messages that will take you to heaven follow my example [Applause] and you will exceed me you if god allows you to hear a little more tomorrow my father in the lord came to stay with me in my little house in elisha way back i think in 1975 also i had a little house you know the kind of house mode house that we kind of flagged it with cement so people outside wouldn't know what is inside he came to stay with me we prayed before we slept at least we thought we went to bed i went to the backyard because the house had no toilet inside it is the toilet is at the back before i slept and i saw the old man on his knees praying that was around 10 p.m around 5 am i went out again he was in his knees praying and god said this is the one to follow this is the one to look up to follow focus on your father one person years ago came to me and said when we started this journey together we were on the same level now you are far ahead of us tell us what are you doing i said my life is an open book you all see what i am doing that is strange that you don't know i fast i pray i do video another man of god and from another ministry was praying god give ten percent of what you have given to pastor deborah to me and i will be satisfied that was some 30 years ago and god said to him do what password everybody is doing and i will give to you what person whatever he has he said god what is he doing god says he started with 40 days and 40 nights of fasting he said god leave me as i am [Applause] he is the one who said it with his mouth so we didn't know when god was talking to him you are going to exceed expectations not if you spend all the time overloading your system with visa imitate your father after elijah left and dropped his mantle elisha took the man too rolled it together like his father did went to river jordan like his father did smote river jordan like his father did and then he said okay god of elijah i've done what my father did answer me too and what happened jordan opened follow my example that that's what paul said he said follow me as i follow christ that's why occasionally when i have to make some announcements during the holy ghost service i say specifically i'm talking to my own children not to the rest of the world people have challenged me why are you always asking your people too fast so fast you want to kill them with fasting i say and they complain to you they say we are living in the era of grace i say i know i know god bless you with more grace [Applause] but it is written by the apostle of grace i fasted often oh but the lord has finished everything i know but the lord said forever oh lord thy word is hatred and he's the one who said as long as i am with these people they don't need to fast but once i'm taken away from them they will fast when they kept on arguing i said don't worry don't worry now the bible says if you are born again if you are a child of god you are a member of the army of god in the army there are all kinds of soldiers we have general duties and we have commandos every one of my children will end up a commando those who can't take it we go elsewhere we're not just interested in a crowd we are interested in soldiers that will be razor sharp soldiers that the devil will seek on me and the devil will run that's what you are going to be for christ and this who had you you heard the new song just a walker somewhere i think in both city napoleon or a drake or somewhere who was going for evangelism somebody left to walk made the madman free and so on and so forth that's what is supposed to be happening to everybody who is a member of the redeemed prison church of god our interest is not fascia we don't want to be fashionable i don't have to be fashionable if you don't like the way i dress that's your headache a nice bishop once said to me he said i like everything about you except the way you you dress like a hunter i say i'm not a hunter i'm a soldier [Music] glory be to god and do you know how they train commandos one of my sons happened to be a member of the marines in america they take the best soldiers and then they not begin fresh training for them and it will be part of the training is that they will simulate as if you have been captured by the enemy and they will do everything the enemy can do to you to see if you will break he told me out of every hundred people who applied to join the marine how did you get 12 graduating they go back to the regular army that if we hear some of the stories about the marines there was one story about the ordinary soldiers surrounded and their leaders called home send the marines and they sent three how many of them three and the three created a power for the regular army to escape but the path was littered with almost 3 000 enemy soldiers that's what i want to be that's why that's what my children must be commandos for jesus christ i don't want any of my children spending three hours casting out a demon that's an insult to my father my father spoke a word and a legion of demons vanished that's what i want you to be you must exceed expectations right here you say amen [Applause] imitate your dad and then act in faith when elijah was smiting that water he was acting in faith he didn't know if he's going to walk but at least he acted [Music] i've told you before many of us are not healing the sick today because we keep on asking ourselves i know the bible says if i lay hands on the sick they will recover what if i lay hands on them and they don't recover why are you thinking of failure and you know it is written i can do all things daddy are you saying that everybody you pray for guess he know does that stop me from praying for the sick and no if i pray for a hundred people and about five of them can just go ahead and die hey 95 percent is not bad one day i will get to 100 percent and in your own case you won't have you won't even have to start at 90 something where i end that's where you are going to start the bible says the joy shall live by faith [Applause] when the lord spoke to me and when this place was on open ground and he said son we are going to cover this place up i say ah glory be to god so we can use it during the rainy season too and then he said to me but we are not going to take an offering for it hey i ran to the toilet i'm telling you the truth and i know if my god spoke it is settled the judge shall live by faith when he began to talk about three by three auditorium i saw you are alive it doesn't work matter what happens that place will be filled one day it will be complete and by the time it is complete by the time you people begin to do what you should be doing it will become too small [Applause] act by faith and finally finally learn to ask for hard things what kind of things hard things i listen to all the summers going on he said change your mind change your mindset begin to think big don't just hear this thing and leave it like that do you know between now and tomorrow morning if you make up your mind that you are going to contact at least a hundred people by text by phone by whatever method you can do it and if you back that up with prayer among the people who will be saved tomorrow and people are going to be saved tomorrow there could be at least 10 people that will invited learn to ask for hard things hard things because that's what elijah said to elijah you have asked a hard thing it's what to ask for that you will get that's what you will get a prayer heart you know when when i was a younger christian in 1973 for five days friday was prayer night at a boutique meta elders and those of us who are the youth there the elders who stop by 2 a.m they will pray all from around 8 o'clock til 2 a.m they will close and then the rest of us will be happy because the elders will be leading us and you know they're very good though but you know an elder is an elder when they close we youth we look at ourself and we begin to rejoice because now we can pray if don't believe me ask who was one of us there at that time guests were not allowed only we boys at two o'clock we remove our shirts now it's time to pray [Laughter] now it's time to demonstrate that the glory of youth is their strength and we begin to pray as if the ground should open and the ground will tremble because most of the ground there was sawdust it was so does that report into the lagoon and put a little bit of soil on top so when when we begin to pray when we begin to match round jericho as we call it [Music] calling on jericho walls to fall ways to open the ground under us will be shaken i remember occasions and and it's not too long ago that when when i said not too long ago i'm talking of when i was younger some 40 something years ago we had a meeting camp meeting just a few of us at what you what is now called foursquare camp this used to be known as youth camp then small place for 50 acres of life and i spoke to those young younger ones who are following me about when i finished speaking it was time to pray now we rented the place so we pay for food and so on and so forth i beg them to go and eat they said no sir food no sir i said we have paid for this thing we don't and the people have cooked we don't want to waste it praying was better than food to us because then we were asking for hard things artists because there are there were prophecies that nobody could believe at that time and when when god speaks to you when he prophesies for to you you have to pray it into manifestation you don't believe me ask elijah i have heard the sound of abundance afraid then serious prayer began tonight my beloved children is the beginning of your exceeding expectations [Applause] i'm not asking you not to go to bed i'm not asking you not to eat tomorrow morning i'm just telling you wash your face anoint your face the moabite is about to become the grandmother of david who is going to become the great great great grandmother of the lord jesus christ your life is about to change beyond recognition and is all up to you because god knew what he was doing when he chose this thing for you he knows what he's doing the holy ghost service of november is going to be the team is going to be the appointed time [Applause] for some of you for some of you your own appointed time has already come you can go ahead and talk to god if you like asking for cookies ask for granola if you like us some hard things cry unto god ask for at least double the anointing of your father at the very very least cry to god say lord i don't want to be an ordinary christian i want to be able to raise the dead i want to be able to make the lame to walk i want to be able to make the blind you see i want to be able to win at least one billion souls for you at least one million so as hard things go ahead and cry to the almighty god and he will grant your request in jesus name [Applause] so you
