Our Smart House Went Against Us | Animated Story about JARVIS

hi my name is courtney and once my parents and i were trapped in our own smart house which went against us my parents are quite wealthy people as far back as i can remember we have always had a lot of money and this is not surprising because when my parents were young they founded their own clothing company and now it has grown to a huge scale people from all over the world buy their clothes to manage their business my parents have to devote a lot of time to work so i spend all my childhood years with nannies my parents did not take care of the house they constantly hired someone and sometimes this cost us a pretty penny but there was no other way out since they rarely had free time once a colleague of my parents advised them to buy a new smart house which would solve the problem of household chores once and for all various electronic systems were controlled by a powerful processor and the house can do all the necessary things at the click of a button in addition the house was very advanced because it had several robotic assistants controlled by the system as well as huge mechanical arms that could cook any dish in the kitchen without hesitation my parents decided to make the purchase and in a couple of months we moved to a new super house which even had a name jarvis as soon as we arrived he greeted us and while we were looking around the rooms he kindly made coffee for us small robots on wheels were moving around the house transporting various objects carrying food on trays and also bringing all the necessary things at first we felt uncomfortable the building seemed to live its own life but soon our fear disappeared completely we got used to our jarvis and no longer perceived him as a miracle of our time thanks to the smart house my parents could spend some free time with me instead of controlling housekeepers or dealing with bills and i finally got rid of the supervision of tutors and nannies jarvis took care of us and became a real family member but soon everything changed one night i heard a strange noise in the kitchen i had no doubt that someone was inside the house but no burglar could trick jarvis and break down the door i knew that my parents were asleep and horrible thoughts about ghosts occurred in my mind i imagined how translucent silhouettes were slowly floating towards my room i was so scared that i decided to run into my parents room as it turned out they were also not asleep because of the strange noises my dad decided to ask jarvis what was going on but the house didn't answer at our request the light did not turn on either and at that point we were really scared dad decided to leave the bedroom and go downstairs but after taking several steps he immediately jumped back onto the bed the floor was terribly hot for some reason jarvis turned on the heating at full power in the dark we had to pave our way with blankets and pillows throwing them on the floor having got out of this trap we saw that the light was on in the kitchen when we entered there we were literally struck steam was pouring from the cooking pots on the stove and everything which was inside was spilling out of there a large knife in mechanical hands with slicing everything that fell on the cutting table and small robots were chaotically running around the house didn't respond to any commands so dad went to the major computer control room to turn jarvis off but it was locked and blocked it was at that moment that we were gripped by real fear we rushed to the front door but couldn't even open it soon we noticed that all the doors were locked which meant that we were trapped in our own house which had literally gone crazy i even tried to knock out the large windows in the kitchen but they were impact resistant there was no way out and we needed to call for help as usual my parents had left their phones in the office before going to bed but that turned out to be closed and locked as well our only hope was my phone which was charging in my room one of the doors was blocked so i had to go through my parents bedroom the floor was still terribly hot so i started jumping on the pillows and blankets again in my room i managed to turn on the light and i finally got to my long cherished goal however my happiness didn't last too long because it turned out that the power in the socket was turned off by jarvis and my phone was dead right when i was about to leave the room suddenly the lights went out and the door slammed shut and the locks started buzzing closed i was left alone in the dark and couldn't call anyone i tried to scream and cry for help but our smart house was widely known for its perfect sound insulation then i thought that things couldn't get worse but i was wrong jarvis decided that it was too hot in the room so he turned off the floor heating and switched on the air conditioner about 10 minutes later it became so cold in the small room that i had to grab a blanket and wrap myself in it even my parents couldn't open the door when they found me for several hours i had been sitting in this refrigerator thinking that i would be stuck in here until i was completely frozen i had already started to fall asleep when the clicking of the locks was heard the light turned on and the door finally opened realizing that it was not safe to stay in the rooms we decided to go to the living room which had no doors at all in the morning we tried as hard as possible to get out of the house but it remained impregnable jarvis continued to switch off and on different devices in a chaotic manner he could turn on or off the light lock one of the rooms and then open it however he decided not to stop there and prepared another surprise for us when we got hungry and approached the fridge we found a huge block of ice inside jarvis increased the capacity of the fridge so that it froze absolutely everything the only food that we could eat was instant coffee a couple slices of bread and dry breakfast cereals without milk we fell into real despair the house did not let us out and at the same time none of us could contact the outside world sooner or later some of our acquaintances or closest people would definitely notice that we'd been absent for a while and would probably start searching for us but this thought did not make us happy at all because within such a long period either the house would destroy itself along with us or we would die of hunger inside the panic had subsided over time and we gathered in the living room again for the first time in a while we were talking about a variety of things by the end of the day i somehow managed to get the monopoly game out of my room so we spent the whole day together which had not happened for several years but there was one thing that still made us upset the system had not unlocked the entrance door yet due to the stress that we had experienced we quickly fell asleep on the sofa in the living room and woke up only when the light was turned on in the living room things that we saw didn't look real everything around us was floating in water the house switched on the water supply to all the taps in the bathroom and in the shower so the entire first floor was literally underwater the water was approaching really quickly while jarvis was opening and closing the doors in the rooms and letting water in we immediately rushed to the second floor it welcomed us with terrible cold and the humming of air conditioning we were lucky that the floor in my parents room had not cooled down completely yet so we laid right in the middle of the room cuddling with each other and covered ourselves with a blanket in the evening i had a bad cough that wouldn't stop even for a moment i was having chills and a fever the water and cold air from the air conditioner did the trick my body temperature approached a critical indicator i had a severe cold after a few hours i stopped feeling heat and cold completely my mom was crying when she was looking at me because she couldn't even call an ambulance my dad was running around the room and did not know what to do either jarvis turned on the alarm when the water got to the control room of the smart house about an hour later we heard terrible rumbling on the first floor along with exclamations of surprise as it turned out jarvis sent an alarm to the system and the foreman as well as police doctors and firefighters came to our house the foreman had a special key card and when he opened the door a lot of water was poured on him the house was a total mess and this was when jarvis was finally turned off however i had to leave this terrible house not in my parents car but in an ambulance my parents of course accompanied me postponing the proceedings with the company that created jarvis i had been sleeping for several days because of the illness and stress my health left much to be desired after all the horrible things that had happened my temperature had been high for a long time i had a bad cough and my body was literally burning up the doctor diagnosed me with pneumonia fortunately it wasn't at the advanced stage so i was soon discharged from the hospital after i was discharged my parents told me that the jarvis system had a failure so he began to send wrong signals to the house the company that had developed it admitted its guilt and was ready to reimburse all the damage caused to us many times over people working for that company got so scared for their reputation that they offered my parents a brand new and luxurious smart house with even more features at a huge discount i was really glad that my parents refused this offer the things that we lived through in those few days made us really close we bought another house for ourselves the multifunctional jarvis was replaced by a real housekeeper who maintained order my parents began to find time to relax with me we bought a lot of board games to just sit and chat and have
