[Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] so [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Applause] are you excited to get started clap yay there we go i know crystalline has taught you how to clap with one hand or two i use it all the time when i'm holding baby girl so if you're in the hallway and you intend to sit in here it would be helpful if you could come on in and find your seat so that we can see what we have left are these three here available okay okay we have one available on the second row here nick you have one available okay and we have three available right here one over here okay one back here by josette two back there by katie okay all right so y'all don't want me to sing there's a reason that the rest of the family is up here with a microphone to sing and i'm just up here with one to talk i wasn't quite as a child nick but i was better on an instrument i played the trumpet okay so brandon let me know when we're we're live okay yeah y'all get to see all the craziness that happens before we know we're live that's when you know your family you see all this stuff and you still love each other right so anyway we're just trying to pack all of us into this one room that we can we're just as stuffed together on the other side but you know what i wanted to bring to your attention first of all how many were over last week at the other building where we had just tons of room okay just about everybody here was that did the father show up was the holy spirit just amazing [Applause] [Music] i'm still feeling it this week and so many of you have come up to me or bill or you have emailed or you've called laura we have gotten so much communication that you are still feeling it and that's an answer to prayer because we never wanted just to be just a little quick fix for the moment experience we want it to be life changing and to carry us forward and i know that's what has happened and i know that because this is the reason i know that because we were in that big beautiful building with all that space the holy spirit was definitely there we didn't have such a good time because paul wilbur did the amazing job that he did or because brandon and melody came up and brought the anointed worship that they did or because bill cloud got up and spoke the anointed words he did it was amazing because the holy spirit showed up first amen all the other is just the icing on top and that is how our father works because the great thing about that is that bill was saying how are they going to do when we go back over crammed in that little building next week and you know what wednesday when we got here it was obvious because it was still very joyful i walked into this building and i was just greeted blow my hair back with all the joy and i just love it and it's here today and i feel it now and before we get started and bill is fine he's dealing with allergies and so we just have to pray through for him right now but he i know the father has given him a wonderful word for today to share everything is fine it's just that so y'all don't fret that's why i'm up here and he's not so he's just getting a little extra strength right now but before we pray and get started i just wanted to share some of the joy that comes from around the world we got this card and i'll hold it right here and i don't know if y'all can zoom in on that and i'll just read what it says this is hello from here are warm greetings and shalom from poland [Music] we my wife myself just thought that it would be nice to let you know okay i'm gonna have to turn it vertical guys i'm not good at reading sideways okay sorry about that uh let's see we my wife and myself just thought it would be nice to let you know about us we are watching you and occasionally i translate your teachings into polish [Music] again it's just warm greetings and yeshua bless you all and i'm going to try to pronounce this name i think it's um boguslo boguslao and eminel and i'm sorry for my poor americanized version of your beautiful names but your beautiful heart is what blesses us so i wanted to share that with you and that is just one of so many things that come in heather and laura get some amazing things that they pass on and we can't possibly read them all but every now and then you just have to stop and read one and i thought it'd be great to let some of our international family know we see you we hear you and after the event last weekend it's great to know that some of the faces we got to see from our streamers now i can visualize you on the other side of the camera when we all wave to you every shabbat so that was a blessing to me and i wanted to bless you with it as well so we'll go ahead and get started now if you'd like to stand for prayer and then we'll remain standing from matauvu and then our shofars will come up and that's mostly for my benefit so i don't forget the order of how it goes anyway join me in prayer if you will our father our king our redeemer lover of our souls the one who knows everything about us more than we could ever know of our own being but we just thank you thank you for the blood you instructed us to imply apply at passover so long ago thank you that the blood of the lamb is saving us even today thank you our king that we can gather here today thank you that you have set apart a day for us to be with you to commune with you first and as a result to enhance our relationship with each other to build the family bonds thank you for the family jacob's tent in this building today and across this entire planet we thank you abba we are so much more in you than what this world realizes yet father you instruct us to be humble as we walk in your authority how beautiful a picture is that of just who you are so father we just thank you for all the blessings everything you're going to do in this place today thank you for that empowering experience that is carrying on and what you started last weekend father and and what you are doing and allowing us to hear the reports of coming in from all over and that you're raising up leaders in places where people can't move to jacob's tent in cleveland but they can do your will right where they are father and they're realizing the importance of starting communities in places to support people who can't move [Music] you know no restriction of boundaries father or time what a comfort that is to us [Music] our king we ask you to be with us today in every way thank you holy spirit that you get here before we do and that our ladies greet you and invite you to be ever strong in this place that there is not room for anything other than the father's agenda in this house because your presence is so strong here we yield all that we are to you all of our plans and dreams and visions father let them be the ones that you have put in our heart that they would be told that they would be successful and that we can't solve go forward have your way now father we are so blessed to be here and we pray that in some way we will bless you with our efforts father to carry out the mission for which you created us each individually and as a larger family unit of jacob's tent and believers throughout this planet you are a mighty god awesome in power there is nothing you can't do no one can sit you down but we ask that you sit us down when we need it father that we yield to you even if it's sometimes just to have that still quiet time that you know we wouldn't take unless you sat us down so help us realize those times and appreciate them enjoy in them just like we do the times when we're running around so busy doing the things to get ready for a conference or whatever it is you have us doing father because if we're seeking you you're in it all and we can't lose what a reassurance that is so our king be blessed today by what we attempt to bring to you as just a small expression of how we love and adore you how in our hearts we bow before you all day long without you we are nothing so we thank you that you are everything it's in your precious name that we come to you today knowing that you have great and and the earth will [Music] and the reply and the angels and the angels will cry [Music] [Music] as [Music] as the king of all kings [Music] [Applause] well i know brandon said that he had kind of lost his voice after passover but that's one of my favorite songs so i want you to sing it a little bit more let's help him out and the angels and the angels will cry [Music] as the king of all kings and the lord are the angels and [Music] [Applause] [Music] this is your part and the earth will [Music] [Applause] [Music] lord reply the king as the king of all [Music] kings [Music] you ever spent a long time dreaming about something anticipating something longing for something and you have to go through the process i'm thinking about building a house right by now and you go through the process and you think it's never gonna come it's never gonna happen it just seems so close and yet so far away and then one day you wake up in your new house or whatever it is and you go wow it actually happened it's a reality one day we will stand before his throne and we will say you shall reign all right amen it will be a reality thank you for singing that song let's just continue to to stand and if you'll bring the basham ru up for me please let's all declare this together and the lord spoken to moses saying speak thou also unto the children of israel saying verily my sabbaths you shall keep for it is a sign between me and you throughout your generations that you may know that i am the lord that does sanctify you wherefore the children of israel shall keep the sabbath to observe the sabbath throughout their generations for a perpetual covenant it is a sign between me and the children of israel forever for in six days the lord made heaven and earth and on the seventh day he rested and was refreshed in mark chapter 12 it says that one of the scribes came and having heard them reasoning together and perceiving that he'd answered them well ask him which is the first or most important commandment of all and yeshua answered him the first of all the commandments is hear o israel the lord our god the lord is one and you shall love the lord your god with all of your heart with all your soul with all your mind and with all your strength this is the first commandment and the second like it is this you shall love your neighbor as yourself there is no other commandment greater than these [Music] israel let me hear you man [Music] ladies [Music] everyone [Music] [Music] oh hear o israel the lord our god the lord is one blessed be his name and his glorious kingdom forever amen [Music] with all of your heart with all of your soul with all of your mind with all of your strengths [Music] you shall love your neighbor as yourself [Music] and upon these two commandments stands a whole lot [Music] love your neighbor love your god they are [Music] [Music] and you shall love the lord your god with all of your heart with all of your soul with all of your mind with all of your strength amen now why don't you take just a moment to greet someone say hello and shabbat shalom give them a smile [Music] all on the floor that's good [Music] [Music] [Music] all righty can we have all of our littlest sons and daughters come in here and gathered under the koopa we're going to get you under here first all righty come on come on in let's let our little itty bitties get under here first all righty so now can we have all the rest of our sons and daughters and get under here as close as you possibly can [Music] we've got some room on this in folks so let's some of you older we all move down this direction a little bit and fill this in for us so we can make a little more room down on that end that would be great thank you tighten up as best you can we've got to make some more room keegan and you guys could y'all move that direction just a little bit for me please please all righty tighten up as well as you can we got a few more still trying to make their way in here we want to try to get as many in as we can i guess it's a pretty good thing when you don't have enough room right i guess we should be used to that by now let's everyone if you will i want you to stand with me if you can and i want you in just a moment we're going to extend our hands toward our children those of you who are joining us at home i know that many of you um have children there with you gather them as close as you can but always we want to remember our children who are not with us our grandchildren who are not with us we have our treasure box underneath the hoop with us today to to represent those that can't be with us right now because we believe that our father is not limited by time or space and there's nowhere that he can't reach if we ascend into heaven he's already there if we make our bed and shell he's already there so there's nowhere that our children can go in distance or in relationship that he can't reach them and so we pray this blessing over our children believing that he honors our prayer that he honors our word so extend your hands this way please [Music] may the lord protect and defend you may he always shield you from shame [Music] and may you come to be in israel a shining name [Music] may you be like ruth and like david and may you be deserving of praise strengthen them o lord and keep them from the stranger's ways and may god grant you long life and may god make you good husbands and wives may the lord protect and defend you may the lord preserve you from pain favor them o lord with happiness and peace [Music] [Music] father again we just thank you so much for this day we thank you for this time that uh we can all gather together and speak a blessing over our children just thankful father for what you just continue to do here just pouring out your ruach hawk dash here what you continue to do in every family here father just give us guidance give us strength to continue to lead our families our children may they bless you as they go out into our communities and we just thank you father for what you will continue to do in us it's the mighty name yeshua we pray amen [Music] thank you everyone can return to your seats [Music] [Music] [Music] so when i'm looking at these little children down here and uh looking at their faces and listening to all the chatter you know we're singing and they're they're just continuing to be kids and it reminded me a little i don't know a little flashback and i don't i think i'm supposed to say this but thinking back over my life and um the experiences that i've had i still believe that the most important thing i ever learned i learned in sunday school and it went something like this jesus loves me this i know for the bible tells me so little ones to him be long they are weak but he is strong yes jesus and if you want to insert yeshua feel free yes jesus loves me yes jesus loves me the bible tells me so when we are facing our last breath and our time here has come to a close i wanted to be on my lips and jesus loves me somebody said a postcard here on the on the podium says hello bill here are warm greetings oh you did okay well it was on the on the podium i thought i was supposed to read it all right well anyway i have it so i'm going to read it again [Applause] here are warm greetings and shalom from poland [Music] we my wife and myself just thought it would be nice to let you know about us we are watching you and occasionally i translate your teaching into polish again it's just warm greetings and jehovah bless you all how did you pronounce that i'm going to say b and e thank you b and e from poland maybe you already said this too but isn't that amazing wow thank you my dear i appreciate it very much thank you i'm going to make a couple of just very quick announcements um in case you did not uh tune in for um our passover event last week um well first of all you missed it uh wow i mean it was it was a great weekend was it not and going back to what i said then i i'm anticipating i'm expecting that good reports and testimonies will come out of that we're already hearing some but um also at the end of our weekend together brandon announced that our our app our jacobs 10 app is active now so if you miss that so if you missed that i guess i'm going to have to to to beth well i probably am going to need some water after all but um um anyway the app is available and brandon will later explain when we come back for midrush all the technical details attached to that but i understand over a thousand people have already downloaded it is that right something like that all right and of course it's free of course um but we're just kind of looking to the future and how we do things uh and particularly where our live stream audience is concerned and also and they were the other thing what was it it'll come back to me you'll have to pardon me the the stuff floating around in the air right now is uh is it's doing a body slam it's picking me up you know and throwing me down on the mat and then it's jumping up and coming down with the elbow and all this kind of stuff so uh my brain isn't firing on all cylinders right now so but there was something else that i was supposed to announce that i that i thought was very important but it it'll come back to me how's everybody doing this morning how's everybody on the other side doing [Applause] we are going to be together in one place one day soon we believe alrighty well if i um if i stop in the middle and go oh yeah i remembered you'll know why all right but today today's the seventh day of the feast of unleavened bread and so what i wanted to do particularly for the sake of those that you know we have a lot of people who join us that all this is very new to them and so they have lots of questions and things and so i thought here at the beginning of the message we'll just do a quick review about what the festival or feast of unleavened bread is all about and some of the things that we're looking forward to now so in exodus chapter 12 verse 15 it says seven days you shall eat unleavened bread or matzah on the first day you shall remove leaven from your houses for whoever eats leavened bread from the first day until the seventh day that person shall be cut off from israel you know i've read different commentaries as to what that means and i get i see different differences of opinions as to what it means to be cut off from israel i don't really know exactly all i know is i don't want that to happen to me so um we eat unleavened bread for the seven days on the first day which for us was last week on the first day of the week what we call sunday on the first day there shall be a holy convocation and on the seventh day there should be a holy convocation today the seventh day of passover or pesach or unleavened bread to be more literal see on the first day there shall be a holy convocation on the seventh day there shall be a holy convocation for you no manner of work shall be done on those days but that which everyone must eat that only may be prepared for by you so you shall observe the feast of unleavened bread for on this same day i will have brought your armies out of the land of egypt therefore you shall observe this day throughout your generations as an everlasting ordinance in the first month on the 14th day of the month at evening you shall eat unleavened bread that's what we did last saturday night when we convened over at oci and we sat down and we went through our seder we began to acknowledge the seven days of unleavened bread by observance of the pesach and so that's what we were doing last saturday evening and in the first month on the 14th day of the month at evening you shall eat unleavened bread until the 21st day of the month at evening today by the way is the 21st day of the month called aviv and so this evening we eat unleavened bread until this evening for seven days no leaven shall be found in your houses since whoever eats what is leavened that same person shall be cut off from the congregation of israel whether he is a stranger or a native of the land you shall eat nothing leavened in all your dwellings you shall eat unleavened bread and just very quickly as i shared last week for me and i know that there are many other lessons to be gleaned from unleavened bread but for me it is to just once again year after year after year demonstrate that there are appetites that we have that are to be denied there are things that we long for that we should abstain from to teach us that there are things that are far deadlier to us or far more harmful to us than a piece of bread that has leaven there are attitudes there are deeds there are mindsets there are words there are all these things that we harbor in our heart that he continually and particularly at this time of year reminds us that we are to purge from our homes we are to purge from our hearts we are to purge from our minds so that we might be the people that he's called us to be so once again today is the seventh of these seven days of eating unleavened bread today is the twenty-first day of aviv and so at this evening as the sun begins to set we will conclude that seven day period simultaneously it will initiate another period that is important to us as believers because in the days of the temple at evening today would initiate the first fruits of the barley so we want to read about that in leviticus chapter 23 verse 9 and the lord spoken to moses saying speak to the children of israel and say to them when you come into the land which i give to you and reap its harvest then you shall bring a sheaf of the firstfruits of your harvest to the priest he shall wave the sheave before the lord to be accepted on your behalf on the day after the sabbath the priests shall waive it and you shall offer on that day when you wave the sheaf a male lamb of the first year without blemish as a burnt offering to the lord its grain offering shall be two tenths of an epha of fine flour mixed with oil an offering made by fire to the lord for a sweet aroma and its drink offering shall be of wine one-fourth of ahem you shall eat neither bread nor parched grain nor fresh grain until the same day that you have brought an offering to your god it shall be a statute forever throughout your generations and all in in all your dwellings and so then this is talking about what we would regard the feast of first fruits and my understanding is that the first fruits that were brought at this time of the year were the first fruits of the barley and so that they would come on that day after the sabbath and they would wave these things they would bring them to the priest who would weigh them for the lord now this follows pesach or unleavened bread and very often what we find is the day of first fruits of the feast of or festival of first fruits actually cur occurs within the seven days of unleavened bread for instance yeshua was crucified on the preparation day according to john's gospel and so when he was placed in the tomb they were hurrying to do that why because the feast of unleavened bread was beginning and so what happened on the third day he was raised from the tomb right and that first day of the week would have most likely been the day that all these people were coming up to the temple to bring their first fruit offerings which is very important because we know and we're going to read about this in a moment yeshua is considered to be the first fruits of the dead right and so there's a reason but my point here this this place in the message is that very often the feast of first fruits occurs within the seven days of unleavened bread now judaism regards the day after the sabbath that we just read about the day then these these sheaves are brought to the priests and they waive them judaism regards the day after the sabbath to be the day after the first day of the feast of unleavened bread so that is why our jewish friends began to count the omer this past sunday night and and that's why a lot of our friends in keeping this they followed that example and they started counting the omer this past sunday night as i was sharing with you just a little bit on wednesday night this is the one place that i personally you know have the conviction to deviate from the hillel calendar so i want to read to you from leviticus chapter 23 verse 15 and 16. it says and you shall count for yourselves from the day after the sabbath from the day that you brought the sheaf of the wave offering seven sabbaths shall be completed count fifty days to the day after the seventh sabbath then you shall offer a new grain offering to the lord and so what it's referring to is you know the end of that 50 days what do we have shavuot or the feast of pentecost so i'm of the conviction personally that the day after the sabbath is referring to a weekly sabbath in other words excuse me in other words once we've observed the pesach and we've started eating unleavened bread then when we have a weekly sabbath the day after that which would be what we call sunday is when we would start counting now again our jewish friends started counting this past sunday night because they considered the sabbath to be the holy the high holy day this year was a little tricky at least it was for me because when did we observe the pesach at the end of the weekly sabbath which initiated a high holy day a sabbath which fell on the first day of the week all right so for it was a little bit tricky but i just feel in my heart that and this is what we're going to do as a congregation that with the with dusk this evening after this weekly sabbath we've been eating unleavened bread since last saturday night so at dusk we will begin to enter into this time of the first fruits of the barley and we will begin to count the omer now i want to once again encourage everyone every individual every family to follow your conscience on this if you see it otherwise if you want to do it in tandem with our our jewish friends and brothers then by all means do that but this is my conviction and so as a congregation this is the way i've decided that we will do it as a congregation because again if he always wanted shavuot to fall on the sixth day of the month of sivan it seems to me that he would have said and on the sixth day of the third month you're going to celebrate the feast of weeks because he said on the 14th day of the first month you slaughtered the lamb between the evenings on the 15th day the 21st day of aviv you eat unleavened bread on the first day of the seventh month you blow the trumpets on the tenth day of the seventh month what do you do it's the day of atonements from the 15th day to the 21st day of the seventh month you observe the feast of sukkot so when he wants to be very specific to make sure that you know that on this day and this month this is what i want you to do he goes to great lengths to tell us and so i've always kind of thought well if he wanted it to always fall on the same day the same month he would have just said it all right now that's how i feel about it so that's that's why that that's why we're going to do it this way but again i want to stress this i can't stress it enough in the end i want every person every family to follow their conscience in this matter and there's not going to be any judgment on this end about those who do it in accordance with the hillel calendar and hopefully there's not going to be any judgment on that side for those of us who are going to follow this other course but i want to say this and this is just kind of a sidebar and laura make a mental note of this to make sure that we do this because we have people in our congregation that are going to follow the hillel calendar in this on monday may 17th all the staff are turning off their phones and they're not going to be available out of respect for those people who will observe that day as shall we vote all right all right so i hope that kind of at least somewhat explains why we're doing what we're doing so just to kind of summarize it again tonight at evening we come to the end of the seven days of unleavened bread and it will mark the beginning of what was considered to be the first fruits of the barley and we start counting the omer so now we move on to this topic what's an omer all right how do i count the ulmer what's this all about so the first thing we need to address is that an alma is a measurement and it's first mentioned in the book of exodus soon after israel departed egypt so we're going to go to exodus chapter 16 beginning in verse 11. and the lord spoke to moses saying i have heard the complaints of the children of israel that ought to scare us all right there i have i have heard the complaints of the children of israel speak to them saying at twilight you shall eat meat and in the morning you shall be filled with bread and you shall know that i am the lord your god and so it was that quail come up at evening and covered the camp and in the morning the dew lay all around the camp and when the layer of dew lifted there on the surface of the wilderness was a small round substance as fine as frost on the ground and so when the children of israel saw it they said to one another what is it for they did not know what it was and moses said to them this is the bread which the lord has given you to eat this is the thing which the lord has commanded let every man gather it according to each one's need one alma for each person according to the number of persons and let every man take for those who are in his tent then the children of israel did so and gathered some more some less and so we understand that an omer is a measurement that is first biblically speaking anyway first associated with the manna that the children of israel obtained in the wilderness so i want to show you the word on there it's spelled oh now not omer okay just just saying not omer oh man all right o and it's now the root word it's spelled the same as this but the root word is pronounced amar and mar is tied to the idea of collecting something gathering something in this particular case is i mean as far as the first fruits in other words and pentecost etc it's tied to the idea of gathering sheaves and binding them in bundles all right so what we have here is that the word on there now go back to the other word you got the the wrong one up right now there's this is the one we want to talk about first this is equivalent to what one person would consume in other words their daily bread so we count the omer and as we do we were we are reminded that in the wilderness the father gave his people their daily bread and hopefully that triggered something in your mind that he we pray we're taught to pray give us this day our daily bread now bring the other word up for me uh if you will it's the word omer i in memories is a family word with this word amar which is aleph and amar comes from a root word that means to you organize your thoughts you collect your thoughts you kind of bind them together as it were and then you say you speak so anytime you're going to speak publicly you probably want to get your act together you want to collect your thoughts i tell about that all the time i got to get somewhere where it's quiet you know and i have to collect my thoughts so that i can organize what i want to say so that when i get up here hopefully i don't sound like a babbling idiot all right so that's the idea behind the word amar now very often we see this in scripture veyomer and the lord spoke unto moses say so anyway my what i'm trying to get across here is that these two words are related they're tied together in theme one's talking about a measurement of grain or or substance or food our daily bread the others talking about things that are spoken things that are said so point would be that each day he gives us not only the physical food that we need our daily bread but he also gives us the spiritual food that we need each and every day he can speak something to us if we'll be attentive and listen and we'll be keen to hear his voice each day he will speak to us about that day and we build on that with each ensuing day what he says to me today is not to be dismissed just because he says something tomorrow but hopefully it's going to build on what he speaks to me today it's just like how we've grown and matured in our faith you know we don't throw everything away that we learn yes some things that were man-made that aren't usable aren't fruitful and aren't conducive to life yeah we get rid of those things but not everything i learned in church was wrong there were things i learned in church that were absolutely right and i'm not going to throw those things away but now i'm going to take those things that he's teaching me today and tomorrow and the next day and i'm going to build on those things that he's already taught me that's the idea here and so then each day he gives us our daily bread so when we start start counting the old matter this is you know day one of the oil miner this is day two etc we're not just gonna go through a recitation we're not just gonna say something you know that's blood bland and without meaning what we're gonna do is believe for and i want everyone to do this i want you to believe for you your family and us collectively as a people that each and every day that he's not going to just give us our daily physical bread but he's going to give us that bread from on the high that we need for that day and the next day and the next day and we're going to this is going to build as we are looking forward to shavuot because that's when it reaches its culmination that's when it reaches the pinnacle if i can put it that way since a mountain was involved in shavuot and by the way and this is getting ahead of myself just a bit but shavuot is considered to be an azerite or a solemn assembly is in this particular case is tied to what happened at pesach because the objective of pesach the redemption to liberate them from bondage was not to just let them go and scatter and go whichever way they want to but it was to bring them to sinai to give them the way they ought to live and along the journey he gave them their daily bread and so we're going to expect hope and belief where that is what he's going to do as we go forward towards shavuot now i want to go back to what we read in exodus chapter 16 about the people's reaction when they saw the manna they said what is it but in hebrew this is what they said if you can put that up for me please jonathan manhu man who what is it but this could be rendered as what is he because the hebrew word for he is who this word right here alef now just as a sidebar here's something kind of i always thought was kind of interesting the hebrew word for he is who the hebrew word for she is he and the hebrew word for who is me that was no extra charge just thought you might be interested in that all right but it says it could be rendered what is he now here's what moses responds to uh this is what he said when he responded to that it is the bread that the lord has given you to eat that's what it is now they were trying to figure out what's it made of why is it little and all this kind of form what's moses addressing its function this is what the lord has given you to eat now fifteen hundred years later here's what yeshua says john chapter six most assuredly i say to you moses did not give you the bread from heaven but my father gives you the true bread from heaven for the bread of god is he who comes down from heaven and gives life to the world and then they said to them lord give us this bread always and yeshua said to them i am the bread of life and he who comes to me shall never hunger and he who believes in me shall never thirst so as we count the ultimate i want you to be reminded of this he gives them their daily bread but as he was doing that he was teaching them something it was prophetic in nature because what do they come to understand that man does not live by bread alone but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of the lord god and so we are to understand that the giving the giving of the manna and the counting the ultimate each and every day was prophetic just as it was practical because it spoke of it still speaks of the messiah who is our daily bread and who gives us our daily bread because it is by him and it is through him that we have life that we live and that we function in our purpose and for that we need to give thanks don't we we give thanks for our daily bread so then we begin to count the omer tomorrow or if you're already counting the omer we give thanks for the messiah because it is connected to him it is to remind us of him and he according to the scripture is the one who was raised from the dead on the first day of the week now that's likely not sunday morning most likely he was raised at the end of shabbat because when the woman got to the tomb he was already gone all right in fact she at one point she saw someone and she thought it was the gardener and i wonder if that has anything to do with first fruits but anyway he was raised from the dead on what we believe that was was the day of first of the day of first fruits in that time so then that means that his resurrection is very closely related to this theme first corinthians chapter 15 here's what paul says but now messiah is risen from the dead and has become the first fruits of those who have fallen asleep for since by man came death by man also came the resurrection of the dead for as in adam all die even so in messiah all shall be made alive but each one in his own order messiah the firstfruits afterward those who are messiahs at his coming and so the feast of first fruits is a commemoration of his resurrection from the dead without which we would be left without hope and still in our sins according to paul in this very same chapter and so the first fruits and the resurrection is a harbinger of hope that at his return all those who are in him will be raised last night melanie we were having dinner melody mentioned a song that she wants to do and i wanted to do it one day and this would have been a proper time but we're going to we're going to try to make some things happen to do it up right but i was thinking about that this morning in in connection to what i'm saying here we have hope that all those who are in him will be raised at his coming there are some who do not have that hope now death will most likely claim most of us at some point if we're not alive and remain and when he's when he returns death will claim us but it will only have a temporary hold it will only hold us be able to hold us temporarily and so the song that we were talking about last night ain't no grave gonna hold my body down the grave will not have power over us temporary perhaps but only temporary and that's the hope that we have in him because he is the first fruits of the dead so we have that hope but the power of resurrection is already at work right now it's already been working in you and me to quicken our mortal bodies to receive the seed of the word the incorruptible seed that we might be born again because it's not a dead messiah that we believe in it is a risen messiah that we follow he is and has been delivering people from bondage and will continue to do that and so again we give thanks for that so again as we're going through the counting of the ulnar looking towards shavuot let's understand what it is that he is speaking to us during this time reminding us causing us to meditate upon what is he speaking into your life what is he speaking into your family's life because again i'm going to believe that each day there's going to be something that he wants to teach us or he wants to instruct us in or he wants us to be challenged in what is he going to be saying to our hearts as we move toward shavuot and each and every day as he's doing that let's continue to be thankful for what he has done what he is doing and what we anticipate he will do because he gives us our daily bread and let's not be those lepers that walked away healed and cleansed but never come back to say thank you let's be those who are always grateful never taking it for granted never taking it you know just expecting it to be because we're entitled to it but to be thankful and grateful for all that he has done on our behalf on this seventh day of unleavened bread there are traditional readings from the scripture and part is from the torah exodus chapter 13 beginning number 17 actually that also begins the torah portion called bachelor and they went out and it it goes through chapter 15 verse 26 but there's also readings from first samuel in chapter 22. but but in the section of scripture that comes from the torah beginning in exodus chapter 13. there are several things that we need to be reminded of at this season we've observed the pesach we've acknowledged the blood of the lamb and it's by our confidence and trust believing in the blood of the lamb that he passes over us that he redeems us from our bondage and that he delivers us but we're also in this part of the scripture we're reminded that it doesn't end there that's the beginning he delivers his people completely because when they came out of egypt they came out with their arms and carts loaded with the spoils of egypt when they came out of egypt they were not a chaotic mob running for their lives they marched out in orderly ranks with a high hand is how the king james puts it in other words i don't want to put words in moses mouth but here's bill's translation okay pharaoh we're going to rub your nose in it just a little bit here they marched out in orderly ranks with a high hand taking with them the spoils of egypt so i i've always thought it was very important to emphasize this because sometimes we see them because they eat their bread and haste they got their loins girded their staff in their hand we picture them running you know oh no no they marched out most likely according to their tribes in a column in orderly ranks because our father is a god of order but we also see in this portion of scripture they're marching along and they're saying we're headed to the land or moses knows they're going to sinai but but everybody's taken by surprise in chapter 14 he says no i want you to turn go this way and he takes them down a path that they probably would not have chosen so let's keep this in mind as we're you know contemplating the season we're counting the omer what are you saying to me what is your daily bread for me today sometimes he takes us down a turn that we would not have chosen in and of ourselves but what they learned was this that the path he had them take was the only way that would lead to life it would not have been the path that they chose but it was the only way that would lead them to life and because he took them that way they were able to observe and to bear witness to the fact that he is the one who can make a way of escape when there doesn't seem to be anywhere to go so i'm going to read to you from exodus chapter 14 beginning at verse 21 then moses stretched out his hand over the sea and the lord caused the sea to go back by a strong east wind ruach if you were here wednesday night you heard um nate talk about the word kadima of course last weekend alyssa talked about kadima what does it mean go forward so he caused the sea to go back by a strong east wind all that night and he made the sea into dry land and the waters were divided and so the children of israel went into the midst of the sea on the dry ground and the waters were a wall to them on their right hand and on their left i don't know if you've ever just stopped and just thought about that try to envision that anytime i do i mean i'm overwhelmed with all and i have to tell you that i would have probably been one of the fastest across that seabed you know it wasn't because i'd be pentecostal in one of the aisles or something like that it'd be because i'm like get out of my way i'm going to get on the other side as long as this is going on move it but they saw him make a way where there wasn't a way but they also see that not only does their god redeem them and not only do we see that he redeems us but that he delivers them he delivers us from our enemy so verse 24 now it came to pass in the morning watch that the lord looked down upon the army of the egyptians through the pillar of fire and cloud and he troubled the army of the egyptians now prior to that one of the most awesome things to me is that the pillar of fire and cloud that was leading them when the egyptians started pursuing them that pillar of fire and cloud it moved between the camp of israel and the camp of the egyptians it gave darkness to the egyptians and light to the israelites and that just gives me ghost bumps thinking about it he defended them he protected them he will do the same for you and for me if he did it then he'll do it again amen if not then what are we doing if we don't believe that then why are we here so it came to pass in the morning watch that the lord looked down upon the army of the egyptians through the pillar of firing cloud and he troubled the army of the egyptians in hebrew that word could mean bill's translation he messed with them he messed with them he vexed them he took off their chariot wheels so that they drove them with difficulty and the egyptians said let us flee from the face of israel for the lord fights for them against the egyptians can you just imagine what's going through your body when you see and witness the creator of the universe going to defend you and fighting your enemies on your behalf and you're watching it yeah exactly [Applause] and the egyptians realized what was going on a little too late but they realized it then the lord said to moses stretch out your hand over the sea that the waters may come back upon the egyptians on their chariots and on their horsemen and moses stretched out his hand over the sea and when the morning appeared the sea returned to its full depth while the egyptians were fleeing into it and so the lord overthrew the egyptians in the midst of the sea then the waters returned it covered the chariots the horsemen and all the army of pharaoh that came into the sea after them not so much as one of them remained so we have here is not only is the father defending protecting fighting for his people but he's also making a point measure for measure egypt had thrown hebrew males into the water that they would be drowned god through the egyptian males the captains and the horsemen he threw them into the water so that they were drown measure for measure whatever you measure out it's going to measure be measured back to you this is why i always feel it's a good thing to sow mercy rather than a judgmental spirit rather than condemnation it's always good to sow mercy again mercy compassion long-suffering consideration of others does not equate to approval it doesn't mean you endorse it just means that you're being merciful and compassionate and considerate just as our father has been merciful compassionate and considerate with all of us even when he was not in agreement with us nor were we in agreement with him so whatever measure out whatever you measure out it's coming back your way so it is always going to be a good thing folks as his people to follow his example and to sow mercy so that we may reap mercy if you start throwing his people into the water the water's coming back to get you in destroying their enemy he delivered them from certain death and so the passage through the sea is akin to the resurrection from the dead in fact interestingly enough one jewish commentator i believe it's not commodities he's sometimes called the ramban not the rambam but the brahman he believed that this occurred on the 17th day of the month of eve now the preparation day for the observance of pesach is on the 14th day of aviv yeshua was crucified on the preparation day 14th day of eve but he rose on the third day which would have been the 17th day of the month of eve so if nah commodities is correct then as israel is marching through the sea that night as that strong east wind is keeping those waters congealed in their midst turning them to ice turning them to gelatin or something where they're not moving they're just standing there in heaps so that his people can pass through all that night and that wind is blowing it was if the commodities is correct the 17th day of eve and so it's in the morning watch when they come up on the other side and here comes pharaoh pursuing and that's when moses stretches out his hand and the waters returned to their place and he destroyed their enemies right before them it is akin to the resurrection of the dead and even if nahmanadees is incorrect on the day the point is still valid that it is akin to the resurrection of the dead so thematically what he did when he brought them through the sea is connected to the idea of the resurrection and what happens the first fruits because the resurrection is a celebration of god's power over death in first corinthians 15 we read a little bit just a minute ago but paul addresses the fact that there were those in corinth who denied that there was a resurrection of course this yeshua encountered this too in his day there were those who didn't believe in the resurrection you remember what he told him you're ignorant you don't know the scripture nor do you believe in the power of god because the father has all power there's nothing that has more power over him including death and so there were those in corinth that apparently didn't believe in the resurrection of the dead and so paul just made the argument that if you don't believe in the resurrection of the dead if that were true if that were accurate then messiah is not risen from the dead and we're all a bunch of liars that's his argument and if he's not raised from the dead then there's no hope for any of us but he's making the point that isn't the case we do have hope because messiah has risen from the dead and so he begins to turn his attention to the power of the resurrection and the messiah as his first fruits we read those passages but then he says this in verse 24 first corinthians 15. then comes the end when he delivers the kingdom to god the father when he puts an end to all rule and all authority and all power for he must reign till he has put all enemies under his feet the last enemy that will be destroyed is death he will destroy that enemy and so the blood of the lamb redeemed us from the bondage of sin and the resurrection speaks to the fact that in him we have eternal life because he lives we believe in him who was raised on the third day and thus says this in first corinthians 15 51 behold i tell you a mystery we shall not all sleep but we shall all be changed in a moment in the twinkling of an eye at the last trumpet for the trumpet will sound and the dead will be raised incorruptable and we shall be changed for this corruptible must put on incorruption and this mortal must put on immortality and so when this corruptible has put on incorruption and this mortal has put on immortality then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written death is swallowed up in victory oh death where is your sting and oh hell where is your victory so yes go ahead please so at dusk this is what we're celebrating not that we get to eat bread now i know that there may be some planting a donut party or a hamburger party or something i don't know but that is not what we're celebrating we're celebrating the fact that we have hope death does not have control over us it might have a temporary claim but it will not be able to hold us and that's what we celebrate because he's risen he will raise us up at the last day we celebrate that today but i'm going to celebrate it tomorrow and the next day and the day after that because because of his resurrection we have the assurance of eternal life he said this in revelation 1 verse 17 i am the first and the last i am he who lives and was dead and behold i am alive forevermore amen and i have the keys of hades and of death all right you're going to have to indulge me for just a moment i'm reminiscing when i read that i just had a flashback the church i grew up in south georgia there was this elderly couple and he tried not to bore you with a bunch of details but he and his family had a restaurant and when my dad left virginia and he came down to georgia and he ended up meeting my mother he actually worked in this restaurant and my dad always felt that if ever there was a godly man that walked the face of the earth that this man's name was w w ball he would be that man his first name was winston in fact my brother kevin his first name is winston i know he doesn't like people to know that but it is but he was named after this man anyway very important you know and very pivotal in our family it was very influential in our family and his wife emma she was she was yeah she was a devoted lady too and uh they when they were very elderly they wrote a song and it was based on this passage and i hadn't thought about it until just now and i i'm just i had a flashback and they're up there in the front of the church and they're singing this song and he had had you know some health problems and he had a bit of a stutter and you know but man when he got excited he didn't care who was watching he didn't care who was listening in in fact we went into a restaurant one sunday for sunday dinner and we went into a restaurant and it was packed you know everybody was there to have their sunday dinner when how long's the weight 30 45 minutes something like that and then all of a sudden he thought of something that blessed him and he threw up his hands and he started shouting and praising god thank you father and all the and just like the red sea the people parted and we went to a table but but but they sang this song behold he lives behold well he's behold i live i live forever more and they would sing that and just i can't really express what i'm trying to say and i remember when that man was getting older and he died and beth and i you remember we went to the funeral and i told her this i'm going to see if that man gets up out of that casket that's the truth i fully expected that that man would get up out of that casket but one day he will and all those who are in messiah will be raised because he has the keys of death and hell if he has the keys he can let out anybody he wants he releases those who are in him from being bound up in death in hell in the readings that we have for today exodus 13 verse 17 over into chapter 15 and in first excuse me second samuel chapter 22 the common theme if you were to go home today and read these the common theme between this particular portion from the torah and the haftarah if we can call it that they both contain songs of celebration and thanksgiving in second samuel it's david who is giving thanks for all that god has done in his life it's believed that he wrote this toward the end of his life but he's thanking god for deliverance in exodus 15 it is a song that moses and the children of israel sang on the other side of the sea in judaism is called the song of redemption rabbis defined this song as not only expressing thankfulness for their redemption and their deliverance but also that it is a it's something that's very profound was happening here it was a spiritual phenomenon in fact if you read it they took and they related events some of which had not happened yet and things that how would they even know about it and they melded these things into a comprehensible whole in other words after crossing the red sea it would seem that the spirit of prophecy came upon moses and the children of israel and they began to sing this song and had understanding of things that they never understood before one jewish commentator puts it this way the maidservant at the red sea understood more than some of the later prophets they had prophetic insight in this song into god's purposes from the beginning of the process of redemption until that point in fact read it they'll mention how the canaanites are reacting to news of the crossing of the red sea how would they know that how did they know that they're speaking about things they're singing about things that they haven't been told about at least through conventional means something somebody came and giving them a report remember when the children of israel go in rahab takes the spies into her apartment and she tells them we heard about what your god did 40 years ago we've been waiting on you we were quaking with fear when we heard that she validates that that's the reaction that the canaanites had but moses and the children of israel in the natural had no knowledge of that they just witnessed it themselves and so there's this spirit of prophecy that comes upon them and this song expresses the drama the victory the thanksgiving all of those emotions that israel felt then that those things that they witnessed and so they expressed these things in this song of redemption so it is kind of a national anthem of sorts this is what our god has done exodus chapter 15 verse 1 then moses and the children of israel sang this song to the lord and spoke saying i will sing to the lord for he has triumphed gloriously the horse and its rider he is thrown into the sea the lord is my strength and my song and he has become my yeshua he has become my salvation he is my god and i will praise him my father's god and i will exalt him the lord is a man of war the lord is his name so from there it just continues to describe what they have just witnessed their enemies are littering the seashore and all they had to do was walk down to the seashore and pick up the weapons of the egyptians because they're going to need them later they're going to need them later on but they're singing of this and then i'm going to skip on down to verse 11. they sing this mijamoja who is like you o lord among the gods who is like you glorious in holiness fearful in praises doing wonders you stretched out your right hand the earth swallowed them you in your mercy and this is what i want to focus on here you in your mercy have led forth the people whom you have redeemed you have guided them in your strength to your holy habitation i want you to keep in mind they haven't even gotten to mount sinai yet you in your mercy have led forth your people whom you have redeemed you have guided them in your strength to your holy habitation so i'll kind of close with this thought we come to the close of this season this time of eating unleavened bread and we move into the next part of this process and we begin to count the oma let us consider that not only will he give us that physical bread we need each and every day but we're going to believe that he's going to give us that other bread the one that we need the most of all so let's just be aware of that let's look to that let's anticipate that let's ask for that let's expect that and as we do what he's speaking to us and what he's teaching us what he's challenging us with let's embrace it wholeheartedly because you see he's leading us to the place or the strength of his holy habitation he's wanting to bring us a little closer to him in each and every day and this all culminates one day right and we get a revelation at shavuot that's the idea anyway and so let's as we go into this season we believe that he is going to continue to guide us he's he's brought jacob's tent this far we believe him to take us the rest of the way whatever that is and whatever it looks like we believe that he's going to do that and he's going to give us each step each day he's going to give us what we need as we need it not just as a the corporate body but our families too so we're going to believe that he's going to guide us those that he has redeemed to the place that he has ordained for us and we're going to believe that along the way each and every day he's going to give us our daily bread so this evening again we'll mark the end of unleavened bread we'll start counting the um and we're going to celebrate the resurrection we're going to acknowledge the resurrection that messiah is the first fruits of the dead and the hope that we have as his people that death has no mastery over us perhaps it would be appropriate to also say this if death has no hold on us to the point that it will not be able to keep us when he speaks the word to come forth then there's no reason to fear it and if there's no reason to fear that there's no reason to fear any man there's no reason to fear what mankind can do if we're going to fear anybody let's fear him if we're going to revere anyone or anything let's revere him and so let's continue to keep our focus on the author and the finisher of our faith until we complete this race that he's put us into amen amen don't you come on up beth will you just stand with me very quickly i want to pray and then beth's going to share some praise reports and prayer requests and we're going to pray for those who are in need but let's just ask the father to seal in our hearts the word that he gave us today and whatever he said to you in whatever was said the word within the word let let's ask his spirit to just seal that in our hearts and our spirit amen so father we are thankful and grateful to you for all of your wondrous works your good deeds and the marvelous things that you've done for us that you've done for me that you've done for my family that you've done for all the families here in jacob's tent those that are standing in this room those who are on the other side those who are watching us through the lens of a camera we thank you for all the great and wonderful things that you've done we pray as a family that each and every day as we count the omar that you will in fact give us our daily bread we know that you will but give us that bread that falls from heaven the manna that which is representative of the messiah and the word that you give us in him and through him speak to us each and every day father in a way that is clear in a way that cannot be denied shake our inner being to the point that we can hear you without hesitation and that we will heed your word without hesitation father we do not desire religion we desire you a relationship with you relationship with your son relationship with your people so move in us father speak to us and may your word cause us to tremble not with fright but with awe of who and what you are and be provoked to do that which you've called us to do all these things we pray and ask and we believe you for because we've come to you in yeshua's name amen you can be seated for just a moment amen once again that little silver thread the father through the holy spirit just weaves through the message um things that i was already thinking about and then the praise and worship it just fit right in and then the message just tied a nice little bow on it and in case you didn't get the theme today is is that death is defeated i'm sure that wasn't lost on you but i just i marvel at all the ways the father confirms it just in little old me so i know if i'm feeling it you have to be feeling it and so i just thought i would take a minute to tell you of um some of those defeats for the enemy and some of those victories for our family jacob's tent i mean alba is moving among us he is healing he is a blessing and yeah there's no way i would have time to go through everything that comes in and laura can attest i mean it just pours in like if i could show you on the screen it would just constantly be rolling rolling rolling of the praises that come in and we do get a lot of prayer requests too but then those become praise reports so a few that you might not have been aware of and some names i'll call and some some i want because you know i don't if i don't ask permission i would never want to make anyone feel uncomfortable in front of a crowd not that they would ever be uncomfortable to share what the father has done for them but we have to respect personalities of those who might be a little uncomfortable to be mentioned in front of a whole crowd so a young lady was here with us during the passover and over this last week that we prayed for at jacob's tent and she won the battle against cancer and she was here for passover to celebrate with the family you know who you are and we love you um another one um and i believe that is the beginning of what the father is going to do she was there barry goodson was there y'all saw him his wife was pushing him around in the wheelchair that's another one that the enemy would love to have claimed too bad didn't happen enemy he's still here he's praising the lord he was just it was so great to see him going around in the dance around the whole auditorium this past weekend and i know that in his living room there at home that he does the same thing another one let's see oh lost my place there okay uh russell swann in texas you you know russell and renee they've been with us for sukkot they've been here um several times and you know that russell had a stroke and the enemy really tried in every way he could to destroy not just that man but his wife and the whole family even tried to take out his medical practice and everything we are looking with excitement to see what the father is going to do to build all of that back up and what new direction they're going to take him because sometimes we think it's supposed to be this way and the father goes well that was good and you're cute for thinking that but really i did that because now you're going this way so you know what if he's in control what does it matter which way we go because he's guiding us so russell and renee have a great attitude the father is strengthening him and the additional miracle to the fact that the enemy was not able to claim russell's life that he didn't give up and through all of the crazy challenges they faced the enemy failed that is that this morning right now in a small little group in a hospital room in texas the miracle of permission for that little small group to gather so that russell and his wife could have church with family today and watch jacob's tent is happening right now [Applause] [Music] i know renee is a mover and a shaker and i can only imagine what happened in that hospital or that town for that to have happened but you know what if she can do it so can you those of you who have loved ones in hospitals that you're being kept away from we can pray those walls down okay that's proof it happened russell should not be able to be doing the things that he's doing by medical standards but he is okay there's another one laura hansen we've been praying for her in her battle against the bone marrow cancer she has had bless her heart so many times that doctors have come to her and said this is the end and she goes to that emotional roller coaster and then abba says no i'm not through here yet so you know she is still undergoing treatment she does still need prayer but so many times she has been told already you have days to live get your affairs in order and she is still here and this has been going on for a while so pray for her that for strength for this journey but celebrate with her that the father has a plan laura apparently he's not through with you yet and your family and beautiful beautiful testimony oh my goodness she gets moved from facility to facility based on whatever treatment is going on and last last night or the night before i was reading in the wee hours this morning so i can't remember but anyway in the last couple of days she got moved to a new facility a doctor who from what i understand was not even supposed to be working on her floor and was not even her doctor came in to check on her and as sick as she has been she ministered to that doctor she prayed with the doctor the doctor broke down and started crying and confessed some things and just they just had a praise and worship service right there they just had some mighty prayer right there in the hospital room so you might think that where you are is because of you is never just because of us it's always because he's going to reach somebody else through our circumstances too so it's never just for us so i thank you laura for sharing that with me so i could share it with the family okay there are others i won't go into all of the stories but here are some other people that the enemy would love to have claimed michael rood several times now the enemy would love to have wiped him out but apparently michael he's not through with you yet either you and anna lil still have some things to do we need you the family needs you so we're standing with you and believing with you and we will celebrate with you and we pray that you'll be able to stand here speaking into this mike celebrate what the father has done i believe that's going to happen my friend pam the father has healed her and i we're praying for her that um it's just so complete in ways that she didn't even realize that she needed it our friend jeffrey he's been very ill and he usually works security for us and the father has done a mighty work in him so continue to pray for his strength we're so thankful for where the father has him right now there's so many more i could go on and so my question is and things like this when we pray okay we know that we're not supposed to be scared of death and that we know you know what the word said is given unto man wants to die and then the judgment and we know that from the beginning before we were conceived he had our days numbered so then sometimes i say okay well then why would we pray and ask for healing or ask for him not to take someone and then i think of hezekiah we want to do much better with any time that we are extended when we move on the father's heart or someone moves on his heart on our behalf we want to make a difference now but certainly if we have been given an extension that means there's really some big work that needs to be done and we need to get to it so it doesn't matter if you're sitting in a wheelchair look at candace you know she is one of the sweetest people in greeting others and truly wanting to make sure that they feel included and accepted that's a ministry in itself you know all of you have your own little ministries going on within your family within your business there's so much that we can do and so until the father says the end it is not the end so we're going to stand with everyone and that's just a small number obviously there are so many more i could go on and on with so many more cases but i just want you to know there are people walking among us in this building and the other building where we get to meet occasionally that the father has said to to death no and miracles have happened uh the other thing i wanted to say is that our youth reports that are coming in our young people he is awakening our young people guys i am so amazed i mean y'all y'all know that within the quiver our our leaders our generals the dolls and um aaron pernick they do a wonderful job and we have a lot of them we have a promotion coming up a lot of them are about to graduate out of the quiver and our young adult group is exploding now and from little ones all the way on up the father is speaking to our children he is raising them up he is blessing them he is equipping them and they are starting to go forth things people that you might have thought oh that's not gonna happen in that one i know that one's history well maybe you do but he knows their future man so um we're seeing things happen we're getting reports that just bless us and i just had to share that with you and all of our young people i want you to know that you know we're praying for you that we're proud of you and we see what the father is doing there is discernment among our young people that is just amazing so well i could go on and on but i won't i know you're hungry and i could just well i could just really go on i want to do i do want to ask for prayer we have james bradford another one of our security here um he has an extended family member who is in the hospital and needs a touch from the father now and well we've been asking that for some other people who are now not in the hospital anymore they're at home and well and with their families so let's believe the same thing for james's family member that he will be home with family in their care and the father healing restoring in more than just physical ways there are many others that we've been praying for others that come in online rest assured streamers we pray for you too that when you send in your emails you send in your requests they do get delivered to the prayer team and they are very well covered so you're not left out you're part of the family and you know there are other ways online that you can also submit your prayer requests and just know that you're a very real part of what goes on here and when we pray you're very much a part of that too the treasure box every day we get things to go in there we pray for that so this is a praying bunch of people let me tell you and because of that we see things happen so i just want you to know that and to just get a report once in a while i know you know but sometimes it helps to hear just those personal examples um what the children are doing how they are leading their peers and other adults is just phenomenal so let me just stress to raise them up because if they're doing something for the father they're getting attention from the enemy but we're going to stand against that and help them and lift them up and support them as they go forth as well because if they don't then why are we doing what we're doing is just going to die with us no they are the future and so we're going to stand with you we're going to pray with you we're going to lift you up we're going to hold your arms up amen so with that let's ask the father to help us we've just come through and we'll end tonight um physical i call it d yeasting you know getting the leaven out we know what it represents and as this portion comes to a close tonight that's just the physical part okay we should be also doing the spiritual part during this week but though we start eating leavened bread after sundown tonight let's not let that be an open door to just go back to our normal routine of whatever the bad habits were before this is a time for us to get that leaven out of our hearts as well so let's continue on with the cleansing with the abstaining with the turning away from the things that we know are not good for us or maybe we don't have a problem with us but they would trip up our brother or sister so let's continue with that in the spiritual realm to let that cleansing in our temple continue amen so will you stand with me right now please pray with me our father our king a redeemer lover of our souls creator of every fiber of our being you know us so well thank you for loving us even when we behaved in ways that are unloving thank you father for winking at our ignorance and showing us the way truly even in what we have done this past weekend and going forward we will have made mistakes but your ways are perfect and father that's what we ask for in our hearts now you would show us your ways not for the sake of displaying perfection father but for the sake of the intimacy in our relationship with you and the joy that that brings and the the light that comes from that and that others we would be drawn to you because of it through us as we seek to know you even better abba these praise reports i just thank you so much for them you know the end of the story and every one of them [Music] father when your answer is no and we have had some answers of no this past week in healing so obviously it was your time to call your children home but we rejoice even in that knowing that it's a temporary separation alba and the other ones we pray for your will to be done and for your peace to be on them whatever your answer is knowing that you do still heal there are people walking among us who are evidence in every way we ask that you have your way and let us yield to it be about your business abba not our own but yours we ask all of this in the name of our precious king our messiah yeshua hamas here amen amen this is the part of the service that we want to invite everyone who has prepared and has a willing heart to bring an offering and present it to the lord and again we invite anyone who online who wants to participate in this as well we ask you to do that at this point in time all rise my love [Music] arises the grave no longer has a hold on you no more death sting no more [Music] arise [Music] rise my love [Music] i don't know if y'all knew that but i used to sing that long long long time ago [Music] i can't get that song out of my head that i was referring to from way way way way way back i don't remember all the words who said um john so what number i see let's see john saw 144 thousand having the seals in their head these are they that came through great distress behold they live forever more behold they live behold they live he lives forever more some like that behold i live behold i live i live forever more behold i live this behold i live behold i live forever more behold i live mama if you're watching i need the words [Music] that's 50 years ago oh goodness have you had a good day so far [Applause] then just one more time let's thank our father in your way a hand clap a shofar blast a tear a thank you just in your way let's thank the father for this day that he's given us this remains standing ready [Music] and keep you may his [Music] lift grace his countenance upon you and give you peace [Music] this is the way [Music] today he'll be [Music] is [Music] upon you [Music] [Music] peace [Music] okay while he's getting the elements there let's wave to the rest of the family i want you to know how important this is to them so many at the conference came up and said i don't know why but i stand up and wave back at my tv i get it i did it when i had to be home a few times so let's wave to the rest of the family right above walter there nick pointed the camera there we go everybody watching on live stream we love you shabbat shalom we're so glad you're here don't leave yet though because we still have kiddush i do want to mention and so if everyone would just pay attention for a quick moment i remember what it was i wanted to announce but i'm not going to do it now but when we come back from own egg and before we start midrash i had i have something i would like to share with this pretty important because it's a kind of a time is of the essence kind of a thing laura do you know don't let me forget revive okay all right is what you texted me okay well my phone's back there right so we have a very very important announcement to make so as many as many of you who would please make sure you're here to hear that announcement join me [Music] [Music] [Music] blessed are you o lord our god king of the universe who creates the fruit of the vine and for giving us yahushua the messiah who said i am the vine and you are the branches okay oh that looks yummy does it have raisins in it [Music] blessed are you o lord our god king of the universe who brings forth bread from the earth and forgiving us yeshua the messiah who said i am the bread of life amen i hope that everyone who joins us here joining us through the live stream i hope everyone already knows the messiah but just in case there are those who are here or watching us who do not today is the day of salvation you know we you know we don't don't have to have a big presentation a big dramatic demonstration but he listens to those who's who call upon him and so we call upon the name of our father and we appeal to him for his mercy and forgiveness and we believe on his son yeshua the messiah and if we believe on him he says we'll have eternal life so don't want to ever take that for granted and we don't want to ever take for granted our walk with him but each and every day we need to continually make sure that we're drawing closer to him and not distancing ourselves the saddest verse in all of scripture is i never knew you i don't want to hear that we all want to hear what well done good and faithful servant amen so blessings okay i do want to acknowledge our first time guest so most of you are here on the second row so if you'll raise your hand throughout the building if you're first time here first time guests and we have some here some over there some back there i'm sure there are some on the other side who didn't know you had to get here early to get a seat so anyway but our second row filled up this morning anyway that's why we're scattered around but anyway we're so glad that you're here bill and i would love to have the opportunity to get to me and shake hands with each one of you so please hunt us down throw something at us you know pull my hair but not his he doesn't have a lot but isn't it pretty what he does have anyway we want you to go first in lion today so if you will candace yes i know i have gray hairs too you
