computer looks pretty cool uh a different setup so we want to um welcome you all today of course uh reverend pastor deacon entrepreneur corporate man uh reverend white is with us man good morning how you doing today good good went all right yes sir um we are here today talking about some uh topics 866 743-8267 i get 866 743 743-8267 and i am uh on the computer and pastor white's on the computer too that's right and we're going to be looking at your comments in the comments section so if you don't want to give us a call just put it in the comments and we will talk about it are you a fan of the mandalorian demand of the lord do you like star wars i like star wars but i am not a star war i'm not i haven't followed star wars for years okay but i've heard some great things about it you have to watch the mandalorian you have disney plus i have disney yeah of course we got all that you have to watch the mandalorian is that good yes i see carl willis made a comeback yes yeah he's in it yup he's in it i'm so i'm so excited about that uh um i ain't gonna talk about i'm still hyped about that last episode you gonna watch it again huh how many times i watched uh i watched it once and um yeah i watched it once and then i went back and watched the ending of it okay because the ending of it was just okay it was like a little kid again i was jumping up and down in the living room it was wonderful anyway um we got some important topics to talk about yes we do uh so let's jump here president-elect joe biden has won the election for the 700 700th time yeah it's official it's official um the electoral college which is the real vote the real vote the real vote is the thing that happened on monday uh one of the electors in michigan wanted to balance that three people in wyoming would have more of a larger voice in the process than you know the 55 people in in california so there needs to be some some balancing of that uh going forward yeah and i think that's why um the way the senate works was to um having some sound issues um i'll refresh your feed if you're having sound issues or screen is freezing refresh your feed that might help um so oh let me let me put it here okay refresh your feed okay so i think that the reason why they had every state gets two senators and then every state gets a certain amount of representatives based on population that's right i think that's somewhat of a fair balance yeah you know some people complain about that why that wyoming or the dakotas have two senators and north carolina has two well that's the balance of power yeah you know because or else new york and california are going to run they're going to run the world i mean run the u.s running the u.s and and you know when they first started it they wanted to put the caller what was called of a virginia plan in place where the congress would actually fit into the electoral college and they would and they would choose to vote they said no no no listen listen we need a little separation so now we're going to just uh choose folks that aren't necessarily part of the congress but i was reading up this week it's interesting how they how they choose the folks for the electoral college i mean there are some students that are in electoral college there's some people that have uh represent the the local party that are in electoral college ain't nobody to call me college right yep i'll tell you this hillary clinton looks so happy to cast her vote she was reveling you knew what she was going to vote she was reveling in that whole entire thing so um that that uh that's an interesting dynamic but again the whole premise of our government the way it was set up it's supposed to evolve because there's no perfect government on earth that's right human government put it down that's right no perfect human government it's going to be that's going to be flawed right so they did their best to do um checks and powers and the crazy thing is the checks and powers grows diminishes over the course of the year sometimes some presidents they have more authority than others right some congress have more authority ebbs and flows of history it changes that's right but i tell you this congress is going to make sure that they always have somewhat more power than the president yeah yeah so when roosevelt won uh the election some diversity of thought in congress and we don't have any because everybody is you know 70 plus yeah literally literally but the big you know the the you know mcconnell and absolutely nothing wrong with that being over 80 but we have to get some some diversity of thought some new blood exactly some new blood in there there's an episode of the crown that talks about that but i ain't going to they're gonna go there hang on you wanna say you're so sorry i don't watch the crown either no doc you gotta watch it man it's so good but anyway uh but you're right i think that the we need to have an evolution to fit current um culture um not an eradication but just some modifications and like you said last weekend um you know the the the constitution or the they those can be a man it's not like the word of god like you said last week it's not like the word of god is not going to change but those things can be amended because the times have changed absolutely and they need and thomas jefferson said it needs to evolve with the needs to grow with the people the needs they had in 1776 and it's not the same thing in 2020 we got different stuff going on 21st century no right so um you know so biden won the electoral college so uh it goes to congress to to certify yes certified in january and then some of the congress people are talking about uh they're not going to certify certain parts but it's it's crazy it's going to go through it's game over from what i've heard all week is game over yeah did you see uh mitch mcconnell acknowledge that you know we want to say the electoral college got president-elect by then of course trump yeah got on mcconnell and that's crazy it's um it's it's it's crazy that that folks don't feel like there's going to be any retribution for how they've conducted themselves through this process and i know you wanted to talk about barr i think barr did the he he kind of upheld his stance of the law yeah in this situation right i mean barr was under president bush then he he went in to be a telecom a corporate lawyer and a telecom and he was really reluctant to come yeah and work and work under president trump but then he he did it and you know he's 70 years old so he um he he was did he resign or was he pushed out that's the question he resigned i read his letter of resignation but was he or did he resign what was he pushing that's that's that's that's the thing that everybody's trying to figure out was it yo you got to go because you disagreed with me yeah because i would say he had to go because he disagreed with him because that's on par with the norm right that this is what the norm is he's been getting rid of folk who disagree with him and now all of a sudden you know uh he's done because he disagreed with the president right and they just came out and said that the cia said that trump's uh campaign was never hacked never had none of that stuff happened nothing happened like like they claimed you know i have to give uh i have to give the attorney general a bit of credit because you know he knew about that whole hunter biden thing he didn't do what james comey because james comey blew up hillary clinton he did you know what he did but i could have came out back in in in april yeah and and had an impact he didn't want that to have an impact on election that to me shows some absolutely some integrity to what he what he was called to do absolutely and that's the crazy thing so uh uh comey did that to hillary clinton mm-hmm end up losing his job and against trump but it's like bruh you you did all that you did all right it blew it up i blew it up was it it was what three or four days before before the election first he said no then he came back to well you know and it was like three less than a week before the election yeah that's right because it came out like on friday right and the election was on tuesday that's right yep yeah and it was that close and that blew everything up and my thing is even this now this maybe i'm being too rational here if something comes out about hunter biden he's not running for president he's not running for president yeah so yeah whatever he did in his lifetime that could have been right or wrong has nothing to do with you you got you got a grown son yeah if your son decides to go do something crazy yeah i didn't do it that's you didn't do it you know if i do something crazy this is not what my daddy did right my daddy got to suffer because i did something crazy exactly right it makes it happens all the time it does you know you know bush didn't stop but president bush didn't suffer when his girls was acting crazy you're right because they they were partying the white house yeah they would you know i think they're his i like i've always but you know some people don't but i i think uh you know he didn't suffer so you know the that doesn't mean that because if if if heather bonder did do something wrong doesn't have any indication on his father i don't think yeah i don't think so either unless his father was part of it yeah we have no we don't do anything we don't know wasn't a bad president as some people thought he was i think the iraq war in afghanistan overrode everything else he did yeah because when you look back on it he really wasn't a bad well those those are big factors right the war was a big factor yeah um but a lot of democrats were pro-war at the time a lot of democrats pro-war and and but i know a lot of folks will disagree with with with my my my sentiment about bush i don't think he was a bad president now certainly he handed president obama a mess yeah in terms of the war in terms of economy but in terms of his you know what are we comparing it to yeah in terms of his love of the country and not and not um narcissistic behavior that are current you know i think he cared about the country yeah you know i think he cares about the country i think it changed for me when i was in dallas i go to doubt well i'm not going this year not going to say i'm not going this year y'all somebody asked me like are you going to the seminars no no i ain't getting on the plane um his uh his library is in um dallas of course at smu yeah that's right so i went to the library one day and i said yo my respect for him went up because i started reading all the accomplishments of his presidency and i was like yo they don't talk about all of this stuff right that he did that he did um and i i think history is going to you know you know vindicate him and simply perform well i think history is going to vindicate a lot of presidents after these last four years that's true that's true um bill barr is going i we think he was removed we both agreed yeah i agree he was removed there was no way around that well you know you know past we see this all the time we see it and we see it in corporate america we see it in church where folks kind of just go away yeah you know they they were meant to go away but sometimes they just kind of go away you know without um without you know having to scar them on the way out yeah and that's but i think he was i think he was removed um after the hunter binding thing and then the confirming the integrity of the election i think that was kind of the straw that broke the camel's back absolutely absolutely yeah absolutely so you know we're not saying that president some president bush was perfect but i'm just saying you if you go back he made some mistakes and they all do and they all do but i think he had he i'm not saying he was a great president nobody but i think he was he wasn't as bad as people said he was put it that way um so we got that and um give us a call at 866-743-827-8267 now let me just throw my little gripes out here okay since we're throwing them out all right how in the world you know what look we're gonna go on a break i'm gonna throw this question out that we're gonna go on a break okay because we'll fix this buzz how in the world does some of the people that deny this virus act like it wasn't that bad why in the world are they some of the first people getting that get the vaccine getting that shot no money i'm just saying let me kick him to the curb i want to be wealthy but i spent all my money you were created and given a slave a doulos a servant called your mind your mind is out of order when it questions your command if you are ready for true transformation bishop david g evans would like to bless you with the new mind new me four message dvd set order today and you will also receive bishop evans national best-selling book but i tell it to go it'll never go back it's my mind it's gonna do what i visit our website or call 1-800-591-8480 today be prepared to watch a new you or or not let me not say that some denied some minimize they saw the reality but they minimized it and they're the first person to get in the vaccine yeah uh i'm not surprised okay disappointed but not surprised right you knew that um we knew we all knew that once the vaccine was here that the those folks would get back would get the vaccine first you know and it will talk about it though are they essential workers are they on the front lines are they handling food are they cleaning cleaning up hospitals after folks that have had the virus are in there yeah are they do they have the ability to be out of the public space where they have to be around other people in most cases yes more than more more than most they have that they have that separation or can have that separation but they don't want to have separation they won't be able to get in the mix not wearing masks and be out there right right you know trying to get you know things straight in georgia's to be their way um but i'm not surprised i'm not surprised at all yeah and i mean and i i to me if if i mean i i'm a citizen of this country i think the president and the people should get it they're you know if god forbid you know something happened to me the country's gonna be fine you know but if you hold leadership in your country you know it's gonna be a problem so you know you gotta do a whole election the whole getting people back in place and all that good stuff but it's it's like now they're doing mcconnell got it on tv uh pence got it on tv tv in general pelosi did trump get the vaccine i haven't seen him get it but he probably got it he probably had it back in the hospital oh yeah i'm sure when he had the virus no but now the vaccines since it's new they don't really know that you can get the vaccine and possibly get the virus is that possible well yeah i mean if you it's like the flu if you get the vaccine for the flu you may have you may get the flu but you'll have very minimal okay minimal you know uh what they call it characteristics of the flu um but the vaccine is to prevent you from catching the full-blown the full-blown but i i would i would believe that the studies have shown that if you if you come in contact they'll be very minimal okay minimal minimal impact yeah cause i think i was reading about some of this but i just think that you know that slice of middle america and but they're not giving them what god takes me it's because he wanted me to die of this no he didn't don't like don't test god like that i just don't i just don't get it but it's just i mean i'm glad the vaccine is out it's out and the second one is out now so that's that's great that's the second one is the modern i'm a derma yeah derma has only been around for 10 years and they're they do a lot of um everybody remembers the big biotech boom um with with a lot of investment going in that space yeah the great thing um about theirs it has the same efficacy rate that the fisa drug has and okay and um that minus 60. it can be kept in minus four and then once it's thought for 30 days okay so the transporting of it will not be as honorous as as the fajr particularly as they try to get it into rural you know rural america which is you know a slice of what you what you've been referencing is how do we get it there and make sure that it's it's uh it doesn't it's still in the condition that it needs to be yeah um so madurma is going to have 6 million doses shipped next week and 20 million by the end of the month okay good so um it looks promising that that uh early spring you know i was thinking you know what most folks wouldn't get it till the end of the second quarter end of june july but it based on what they're saying it feels like you know we're going to start seeing this pop up in the cvs's by by late late first quarter that's good um so so that that's that's great that's great and i and now i saw a black woman help create the vaccine was that for all of them or just for one that was the one that they were working at pfizer if i said okay okay all right that's good man so um cool so they got the vaccine out california l.a in now i've heard some l.a residents california residents we're tired of this because they've been locked down longer than anybody locked down in in the country but the reason why is because look at la they have zero beds available in hospitals now zero they said zero this morning i got that joe biden called no too much no i'm good zero right they had zero beds um and they had like over a hundred people waiting just to have a bed in the hospital yes because you know they're full up yeah and um i think one of the other places uh um chicago is bad too chicago's bad they show where different parts of california have like 10 beds available 5 19. i mean they're sending people home because they don't have like they don't need a ventilator or they're just sending them home and oxygen there's homework they say the doctors and the nurses are crying because it's just it's just overwhelming and they're working i mean they're working like non-stop and it just it's it's uh to me when people just take this they don't take it seriously it's a slap in the face too all of those folks that are out there dealing with this every day and seeing people pass away and having to call home yeah call them and say hey i'm sorry to let you know and you know it's and it's a that's that's that way is heavy can you ima can you even imagine the mental the mental illness nothing you know the mental strain and the mental strain that then ends up being a physical strain by having to be there and see this you know a lot of us most of us aren't there seeing this happen yeah and they're seeing this happen day after day after the day after day after day after night after night that's got to weigh on you absolutely it's got the weight on it the one you saw what we talked about i think last week or two weeks ago um the one doctor in new york went at his height she committed suicide because it was just she just it's unnatural seeing that you're seeing that much death in that and that there's nothing you can do yeah you know you're in this business to help folks and there's nothing you can do it's got to be heart-wrenching absolutely i mean if people that go to war at ptsd yeah from sea and all day yeah there's going to be a lot there's going to be a lot of that post this yeah i really think that um there are going to be a significant significant group of people that are going to need therapy for ptsd after this pandemic the lingering yeah even regular people the lingering effects of this whole you know i mean i made a joke but i'm like i am not eating birthday cake that somebody blew out the candles on for the rest of my life hey how can you you know i don't like crap i never did like crowds now though i really don't like it yeah yeah you know how can you you if there's a certain level of hesitancy that's going to go when you say even once a year from now say a year from now you know this thing is under control yep you say okay well do i get on a plane or do i buy or do i rent an rv and just ride mm-hmm it's true it's true i mean and you literally have those thoughts in that yeah because again we don't know the extent of the vaccine like you said last week you know is it like the flu shot where you got the vaccine this year and then two years later you got to get another one it's not like there's no uh uh what's with them science word about the test uh not a little f-test it was the uh efficacy uh yeah to see you know there's no ten year down the line to see yeah what's what the what what what the impact is going to be over the long term yes now mostly with the vaccines as we've talked they they do have a basis that they they look at for the time period in which they can tell if it's effective but again you know whether it's because you had the virus and you have some lingering effects we know people right here that have had the virus and the lingering effects is real or is it because you had the vaccine and maybe you had an allergic reaction not saying that it's not safe yeah but there are still and will be some unknowns until the time absolutely and it takes time but i think you're exactly right past nick the lingering effects mentally physically from what folks just think about folks who are alone yep you know they don't really have family they don't have friends they've been by themselves since march and we all know the idle mind is yep this is getting yeah they mess it up uh there was somewhere where this article came out that some people who were like you said alone majority of times they had heart attacks i guess because they're social creatures we're meant to be together we're meant to be together so it's like it's hard when it's you know one person like you said one person in the house you don't have that much family to go talk to or see and it's just you just you versus you maybe live by yourself but you got people around people around you that you can engage yeah i mean there's some it's in it plus it's the holiday season too so there's a lot of mental mental stress and residual effect that's going to happen because of this the therapy industry is going up now all the online therapy is going up through the roof through the roof and i think some people like you said even when this is over i mean like the birthday cake well saying it just think about it like how many germs did we eat of somebody else's because they blew on that they blew on the cake and we just ate it like it was nothing every time my kids would blow the birthday cake out when they were young they're not they're bigger big now i said don't spit on the cake when you blow it out right spit on the cake the little droplets coming out now forever henceforth now and forevermore birthday party you blow the candles out i am not touching that cake at all now somebody's gonna come up with an idea just for you they're gonna have some type of plastic thing with the candle on top so they can blow a matter of fact i should do that right with the candle on top so you can blow it out and then take the top off somebody's probably doing that right now yeah but you're right crowds and stuff i'm gonna get to it oh yeah i see it danny we're coming right to you crowds and stuff um you know that stuff is real there's some people that don't want to be around big crowds that's right that's right even after this evening you know so we'll see what happens all right danny danny from fort lauderdale danny danny danny um when you get a chance because uh we're not sure what's going on danny give us a call back and uh we'll get to you oh hey danny what's up hey how you doing bless the blessing how are you doing you're doing wonderful wonderful here what's going on it's wonderful to hear you all i just would like to wish the best of the holidays and praying for each and every one of you because you have blessed us so much you know through the years and what have you it's another year uh that we're going into and i know that it's been so difficult for you and the staff but i just want to say thank you and uh we appreciate it appreciate you we appreciate it danny thank you man how's it how's it going on down there in florida well uh it's uh with you know the uh pandemic what have you has brought about you know certain situations and you know i was listening to you all you know what you were saying and i think that we really should you know put the blame on this particular situation where it needs to be because i've seen and observed as the situation has gotten progressively worse i've seen people that were supposed to be responsible going to the golf course week after week and not putting any concern on the welfare of the people and as if the count goes up and the reason why when i call i try to get that perspective as to what the death rate is because we don't get that here in florida yeah they will tell you uh percentages but they never tell you how many casualties we have yeah and uh you know it's it's bad and then even though we have a vaccination there the main situation is that the population general population won't see anything until possibly may or april so we're in during that time span you know did you see about i meant to bring this up i forgot um the lady that was doing data for florida covid they they raided her house yes yes yes that's that that was uh it's bad because of the fact that she was correct absolutely correct as to what they were doing and what i called the vice president to device rather than is uh taking on a situation where he doesn't even come to south florida okay wow okay well he stays you know in north florida and uh he would do certain things there and then he went undercover where we didn't see him for weeks and uh when they were issuing the uh vaccinations and what happened he came for a brief career and did some things there that we never to hear from him but he does not allow the mayors to do anything on their own if they try to issue citations he said that they'll know and avoid that they can't enforce it which is like if uh let's say a business establishment is open and they're not enforcing the math squaring and i wonder how many of them wish they would have voted for gilliam yeah over over this guy um because the super bowl is in florida this year right exactly oh yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah and if you do a timeline just think about this now when did they know about the virus i think they knew before before they said they'd know they said february but i think they knew before then if you trace it back it was actually november yeah of 19. yeah they were in california yup somebody in california had it they knew about it but still they let the super bowl go on go on february yep and right after february that's when we started having problems because everyone went home people came from all over the united states that's true that's true and all over the world right yeah all over the world yeah i flew somewhere i flew to dallas before kova got bigger when i flew to dallas in february last year i knew something was different i saw people wearing masks at the airport that i you know usually i'm like something's different it felt weird just it didn't feel right yeah because it was again it was real small you only heard a little bit about it and you didn't think it was going to be a big issue right you thought it was going to be like sars or i thought it was because i know i was in china in january and i came back and the bishop said what's what's up with this corona right so but you're right but the data you know those that don't know the lady that did data for florida kovid she started calling people and saying we got to start telling start telling you about this thing right and they raided her house today they were just trying to get like documentation to see if she hid something at her house well i i think was probably uh what they're trying to find i think that she actually has evidence to prove what's going on and i think that they're really trying to retrieve whatever information or data that you know they might think that she has and i think they're trying to shut her down as to what's really going on because i think that our governor has uh ideas of going to higher places okay he ain't going nowhere higher now he's done but whatever he can do to uh elevate himself that's messing up his plans yeah because i i can't see him going into any bigger office on his own put it that way unless he runs for like uh you know senate or congress in a certain district where he's popular um uh right next door you're right next door to palm beach yeah so it's uh where uh the main core uh where we're like metropolitan in the area uh it's traffic is bad so whenever he comes to town whether it's palm beach uh broward or miami-dade traffic is horrendous as it is yeah so everything is shut down and then for him to have the special facilities the uh the borders uh shut down the uh seaways are shut down and people are crazy about voting and whatever they can't go out on their yachts they can't go into boats and what happened it's a bad situation so they're saying look we did this for for uh four years and nothing's enough yeah yeah they got some legislation down there though well he signed a deal back in 1993 that the red the the uh the resort couldn't be also used as a residence so members can only stay 21 days a year and they can't they're not supposed to stay there more than seven days so he signed that when his business was floundering and the costs were rising that's a deal he cut so it's going to be interesting to see how he's able to get out of that or who's going to prevail in this case yeah yeah he's going to try to wiggle his way around it somehow but from what i understand is that you know there's a lot of resistance you know to any of these you know things going on and these like these different deals that have been cut and it's it's crazy you think the governor's gonna try to get in to help him uh move in i think that i know that that's what he's trying to do okay i know that that's he he's you know manipulated him uh to do different things and he's pressured you know various mayors uh in different cities and also uh the schools with you know precious schools for to get students back into schools and things like that and we know that it should not be because of the rate that we have yeah wow all right danny thank you man appreciate you for calling hey once again we thank you all and god bless you all god bless you see you soon all right all right well if he can't go to new york and he can't go to florida where's he gonna go that's the thing yeah unless he get a new residence because yeah i mean but he's known to wiggle room around contracts yeah to get his way i mean he's a business i mean he that's what he does so we'll see how this you know his his his business folks his lawyers say there's no justification for him not being able to move there but at least what i was reading is that he signed a deal in 93. that he can't stay there longer than seven days seven days and 21 days a year yep but i think though pastor nick he's been there more than 21 days this year already because he's there every weekend isn't he yeah he's there every weekend he's everywhere if it's 52 weeks in a year and he's every weekend that's time that's 104 days i know i know and that's and that's the thing it's like um they made accommodations right you know because he's the president but i they're they're trying to fight fight fight that it's a it's not a residential place right it's a resort it's a resort and he did it to save it that's right so it's still in his name still in his name but they had those restrictions so i guess they paid they worked out some money arrangement where he doesn't have to pay all the stuff or something right because if it by being in his name and not being under his company he was saw his remembering back in 93 was having financial problems so the costs were rising to keep the state up so he said okay well i'll turn it into a resort yeah and then that way we can hide it put unfolded into my corporation and they could absorb some of those costs and now now he's saying he wants to use that he should he should he should have allowed himself to have a permanent residency there while the residents you know rented out he has his own spot on the property but i guess either they didn't like him then or well he won florida though so well i mean yeah i mean but you know but i know what you mean though the people that the people want to keep their standard of life you know um in terms of being able to move around like they've been a customer moving around yep yeah so we'll see what happens we'll see what happens with that uh so the uh the white house this is my thing about leadership right goodness the white house head of security head of security had got covered back in september yes his uh creedy bailey greedy bailey is his name yup he had um such severe conditions that he had to amputate his foot and part of his leg part of his leg and this he'd been in the hospital for three months three months and see that's my thing they were just you know being willy-nilly the virus was all over the white house they you know they had this mandate where if you wore a mask they told you to take it off and they act like it wasn't going to to me leadership cares about the lives of those that are under them yeah and to me that's a clear um sign of bad leadership to me yeah and it's it's you know it's just so unfortunate because he was just there doing his job right he's not a politician he's head of security yeah and he gets this disease he they even had to put together a fundraiser to help him meet his medical bills that's kind of like sad too why don't you gonna take care of the man's medical right yeah yeah that's my thing but but but again uh how they fared you know some of those things they keep quiet i mean just think about all the stuff we don't know what we know is a lot less than what's happened yep it's what i believe absolutely absolutely you know some of the stuff we haven't heard about but it's it's happened yeah absolutely oh i'm sure um and they talk about the residents at the white house the people that worked there you know they were all catching the virus and stuff again it it goes back to it see this to me deception to me oh oh why i was talking to how can i say this a leader that can be deceptive that has sense if i can say it like show something in public but in private we'll do something else yeah so they'll do this whole no mass no mass no mass in public y'all back like y'all got some sense yeah you know yeah this is just a just a willfully just gross negligence of of power yeah of just identity which we talked about you know a couple weeks ago and where's the overall compassion for people you know that that's that's not being really shown by the leadership yeah it's it's not there it's not there and i'm i'm hoping and praying that after you know biden gets in that things will start to settle somewhat you know with the whole virus with uh i kind of want to go back to the boring politics yeah yeah you know and i think that's where he wants to take us yeah balanced balance real calm um they're doing stuff like you said but we don't know about it there's a certain measure of a certain measure of you know just like you know when when you you and you and tiff deal with stuff that your kids don't know about they should not deal with stuff that our kids don't know about and my parents did stuff that we didn't know about because that's the way it's supposed to be yeah you know you take care of you that doesn't mean you're not out there taking care of business right it doesn't mean you're hiding anything but there's some things you got to just you you don't need other folks to be worried about absolutely you know why do i have to worry about am i going to get well why do why do folks have to worry about getting a stimulus you know why should they you know why you have to worry about where's the stimulus folks need the stimulus did you see um some of the one of the congressmen who nice salary by the way full benefits pay for by us healthcare everything said your stimulus is you getting a job see no mind you folks are losing their jobs losing their jobs jobless claims went up again this friday this last yesterday friday yup somebody said 1200 is too much to give to people well 300 is not enough they said 1200 was too much because of the deficit oh now you all care about the deficit yeah when it comes to helping people the deficit is an issue but when that military uh bill went through what last week i think yeah it was last week there was no concern over no deficit then no no if it comes to shut down congress there's no not gonna be any any concern about you know what what needs to be written for that and folks see that yeah and that's what i think you're when you talk about a calmness that that folks will start to feel like okay we're being taken care of as part of this supposed to be a more of a separation between folks who can live and folks that just can't yeah i mean basic needs now we've talked about people being hungry before the pandemic there's no reason for anybody in this country to be hungry yeah yeah you're right but it just goes back to that lack of compassion 300 600 dollars that's not paying rent for no nobody unless you're unless you're running out of room in somebody else's house yeah but outside of that there you're you're not getting no you know where you anywhere somebody did a map of the whole country where the the uh the media the medium um income income and also the median rent was nowhere near 600. no no no and i just i just have a problem with how our government is set up and my thing is like this if we were able to tie the wealth for the people to the welfare of congress and the president i'm sure things will get better things get done oh yeah things are getting to get done real quick it would things don't really if they were held accountable yep you know if they were hella kind of no different than universities um you know these emergencies have no accountability to ensure you have a ability to get a job once you get out yup but yet they're they're charging ridiculous amounts of money to go to school for four years absolutely but there's no accountability on the universities to ensure you have an opportunity but they can charge you out it's criminal it is it is i'm a i know because you got one in college now right yeah well both of them are still good well he's out he just graduated but she's in she's okay yeah she's yeah it's criminal it is you know it's and everybody deserves to go to to go to school but you know it's we're talking about the same thing with regard to the government government shouldn't be not making sure that everybody has basic essentials right right and this is why you know i was a big supporter of bernie in 2016. i get that a lot of his policies would not have made it through but i think what he did was he introduced a conversation that was needed it was needed that the country people in this country we call the greatest country in the world should not have to struggle like this just for the base not let's not talk about being super wealthy or you know having a mansion but the basic stuff like even if they just said hey y'all we're going to work out something where community college is free where maybe you pay back part of your community college by doing internships or serving somewhere else where it's not just you know i give it all to you yeah but there's some stipulations and stipulations right you maintain a 3.5 yours is free through exactly you know and he brought up a lot of stuff about workers workers rights in those things um i think that that part of what bernie and always seeing them are bringing to the table is a conversation that needs to be heard and i'm glad they kept pressing and i'm glad they keep pressing and i think it'll be part of this next administration what i don't what position do you think he's going to get bernie does not think he's going to be but i think that conversation that you're talking about with regard to student debt student loans has to continue yeah it has to continue if you forgave student loans how much money would people have to put back into the economy but from what i learned since the u.s economy is one a part of its foundation is student loans they don't want to erase them because they make so much money from student loans that's how they prop it up yeah the interest that's how they're propping the country up yeah yeah so people were like you know he's gonna cancel student loans no i don't know they're gonna be canceling but i think there's gonna be some some abatement i trust of some some level of what is still what is still old because it's just folks can't you know you come out of school with 150 200 000 worth of debt 300 000 worth of debt and then you you know you can't even think about going to grad school you can't think about going to med school or law school because that's just going to be a you're going to double that yep you know but by the time you get out and then how do you start a career being five six hundred thousand dollars in debt yeah literally that's why some some of the students here we talked to them they didn't have you know upper limit parents you know money-wise it's like yo i know you won't go away to school your parents can't afford it go to community college for the first couple years yeah knock out save so i wish i did this i didn't even i commuted to temple i didn't stay on campus but i should have went to community college first did first two years there saved a whole bunch of money i didn't have to get loans and then went away yeah later yeah i tried that with our daughter and she did not she declined who's her father she don't have the same problems other kids do so i don't know yeah that was made but that is a you know you go to community college for a couple years you blow it out because you are going to you can get any college you want to get into absolutely any college and most of them like the community colleges around here have upped their uh expectations that's right and what they're known for so if you come out of camden county college from burlington county college or camden county college you came out of something you came out of something and you learn you'll learn absolutely you know and at the end of the day folks yes there comes a certain amount of credibility based on the level of institution you go to but hey i went to a small black school when i got to school i was in a room with folks from all over the world yeah all over the country and i was a little anxious but at the end they said well hold on chemistry is chemistry as long as i learn chemistry i should be all right it's not chemistry at yale is not different than chemistry at morgan state right you know it's chemistry it's chemistry it's chemistry yeah so how long i learned it it should be okay which which lends itself to the fact that you can go to community college you learn whatever it is accounting chemistry biology you take that to whatever school you want to go to and it minimizes the amount of debt that you have to be worried about coming out absolutely and that and then your degree still comes from that institution yep you know yeah yeah and that's the thing it's i and i agree with that so some people they just want to just jump out and just i get it you want the college experience you want to go away to school you want to be away from your parents you want to live you wanna have fun you wanna do all that stuff but that debt after is over it's like it's crippling it's it's it's something um and there are some people who's whose work that they have like the doctors or their lawyers not all of them but some of them get good jobs after and they're able to pay back their loans a little quicker than everybody else i mean their loan amount is almost like 1500 or more yeah a month a month but if you're making 150 200 000 miles a year you can kind of pay that you can pay that back but but that's not everybody it doesn't happen for everybody it doesn't and it happens for too few yeah the majority are not feeling that absolutely speaking of what you just mentioned doctor did you hear that controversy over uh dr biden is that was that crazy or what i mean you know you know what very few times i told i agree with trump on certain things and when he goes into some of his news rants 99 of the time like i'm not with you right that was one percent of times yeah where the media some people to me not that's not label that some people the media do stuff for salaciousness to get clicks and views that's real that's real that's right that's real and they'll put the fake headline up there to get you to click on it yeah and then you read and you're like had nothing to do with yeah they just wanted to click from you that's right so the whole joe biden thing about the guy that is so not acknowledging her as a doctor and stuff like that first off that's just completely chauvinistic number one yeah completely misogynistic number two um and then the other part of it is this is the wall street journal give us an opinion piece but it's still but it's still the wall street journal like come on come on come on now come on she worked hard to get it worked at your doctor she's legit it's a doctorate of education it's a doctorate yeah that's what it is a doctorate you know there's plenty of doctors that are not medical doctors yeah you know so it's legitimate i thought that was a slap and facing like you just said you know there's plenty of folks that are on the in the in the administration today that are doctors and they call them doctor and they're not they're not out there cutting cutting open folks and giving them prescriptions and stuff like that i'll tell you this she probably can run a department of education i bet you should i vote for jill biden for right now i bet you're particularly after this mess we had yes because betsy devos been going telling them uh make it hard for the administration new administration coming in and what they showed was they were okay with big business and not well for the students not the wealth for the students not the world how could the well for the students yep i mean that's the future we got to make sure they're educated because guess what they're going to be running things absolutely absolutely and it's just it's unfortunate it's almost time to get out of here y'all we got a few minutes left um can i say one thing about it that i was happy to see that the major league baseball finally acknowledges the negro league yeah and and put them in the record books now an unfortunate thing is that some of the record the the record keeping wasn't such that it would be like like josh gibson who's who hit 44 441 over 342 games that's a big deal that that that you know a good hitter is 300. yeah but um that won't be in the record book but i was happy to see yeah my dad was a big baseball guy so i was happy to see at least gonna acknowledge him that's true satchel paige his long one and um the guy am i the gibbs gibson that bought that um had more home runs that's babe ruth yeah like he said it's just finally acknowledgement so i was happy to see that so that's some good news that we ended the week with yeah so we had that that was good news that part um or something about the cleveland indians are changing the names let's see what's going to happen with chicago and there's another one too chicago because oh chicago blackhawks and then there's one other one i forget what but uh so far washington and cleveland and so we'll see what happens but yeah we'll see what they change it too yeah we'll see what they change i mean it's some people are upset because they they that's how we're always that's what we always call them is what we're used to but again it's okay to right wrongs yeah i mean it's like it's like if they would have had a team called the new jersey coloreds like yeah we all would be up in arms like i thought you're gonna say the new jersey something else i was gonna say the new jersey n words or something like that you know yeah we would all be up in arms you'd be up in arms so it's the right thing so i think it's the right thing to do if some majority are please make sure that you join us tomorrow at 8 a.m service um have our discussion with you all so watch us all day tomorrow all morning tomorrow 8 am service we start as soon as 8am is over we go right into our engaged lifetime uh until our 11 a.m worship service and of course um we're taking some breaks this this uh then this month so y'all getting like some i don't know what they're gonna play tomorrow night at six it's going to be a replay of something uh of course we have bible study coming up on uh this coming wednesday that's right then we're off on thursday and friday for christmas eve and christmas and then uh we're getting ready for our new year service on the 31st of this month new year's service uh beginning around most like around 10 8 10 p.m of course we saw our first fruits that night uh first fruits readies we believe god for the new year we do a uh fast from for three days so it's on i think new year's eve is on thursday that's right so tuesday wednesday and thursday we break it after midnight on um new year's eve so we're gonna fast on that tuesday wednesday and thursday we're gonna believe god we're gonna pray and we're gonna pray for relationship this is the time we believe that it's god's hour it's for god's church we're believing for corporate manifestation amen we're believing for god to show up do his thing even in the midst of all of this stuff right um so we're going to celebrate that during the course of the new year and believe god that god's going to reveal his church he will um if you read the plagues of egypt the bible says that israel experienced some of them and the other ones god made a distinction made a distinction god showed the difference between his people and the people of the world and we're believing god that hopefully prayerfully we're believing god here in his mercy he'll make some distinctions not for us amen but to show the world amen these are my people that's right you need to be a part of my people be part of it you need to be a part of my people a part of my church god is raising his church up in a great way we want to see the church the greatness of god working through his church that we've never seen before and we're believing god for that so um thank you all for joining us today god bless you god keep you thank you pastor white it thank you merry christmas merry christmas y'all merry christmas don't go in debt for christmas be safe for christmas stay home i bought my food i'm staying home god bless y'all see you later bye you
