One Piece 1x1 Reaction | Romance Dawn | Netflix Live Action Series

hey guys welcome back to the channel today we're watching One [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] Piece hey guys welcome back to the channel if you're new to the channel my name is Angela and I am starting my journey with the live action series one piece now I have heard about this merely because of the liveaction Avatar that came out on Netflix everyone said if you want to see animation to liveaction right you need to watch One Piece now I have never seen the animation so I don't really have an opinion to base it off of Animation wise and whether or not it's a good adaptation but I would be able to tell you if I enjoy myself so I'm really looking forward to getting into this the only thing I really know and it's because I've seen the thumbnails of the first episode almost every single person that has come out with a reaction has like this Smiley guy with the straw hat on and he looks very happy he looks very positive he looks like he's a good guy I don't know if there are good guys and bad guys I don't I don't really even know what the show is about but I do know that the title of One Piece kind of looks piratey is that a word it looks like it might have to do with pirates now one piece one pence I don't know uh one piece of a puzzle I don't really know what one piece means but I think I'm going to learn think I'm going to learn and I'm really excited to get into it because a lot of people have been raving about this and they said that they absolutely love this show Netflix nailed it so I'm looking forward to kind of seeing one what they're talking talking about and to kind of discussing with you guys in the comments what the difference is with the animation or what you like that they did or like how close it is to the animated version which to me when you go from animated to liveaction that is very difficult to go from something that you can kind of go over the top with to something you kind of have to tow the line of realism so uh I'm really excited to kind of discuss that with you guys and and what what they did great and maybe what they didn't do great or something that they did that you absolutely loved I'm looking forward to those discussions so guys I'm super excited to start this journey so let's get into it o right into the music okay this is a world like no other one brimming with mystery and teaming with danger who's narrating this it's like that Ian McShane is that who that is gold Roger gold Roger the soall king of the Pirates has been captured let this be a message to break the spirit of anyone foolish enough to follow in its footsteps why does he look happy he looks happy what's going to go down you have been sentenced to death you have any last words yeah you take these off starting to reach I warned you you brought this upon yourself now now I'm bringing it to one and all meaning I declare your life forit where is your you [Music] it ends his life by starting chaos apparently you want to know where my treasure is I'll tell you I found everything this world has to offer free yourselves take to the Seas my treasure is yours to find I'm pretty sure that's not what he wanted to have happen oh God did he leave Clues yeah everybody's running for Treasure gold Rogers final words changed the world forever a new age was born the Great pirate I'm here for it setting off a race across the seas to find the pirate King's hidden treasure for the past 22 years the one piece I don't know if that explained that or not though okay okay all right let me settle in it seems like it's going to be exciting ever since I was a kid shs would tell me stories about pirates in their Adventures this guy he always seems happy in all the photos I pretty much can't swim but you get the idea you might want to learn follow my dream find the one pie the one peace become king of the pirate you got a ways to go that bird has eyebrows by the way is that normal Mutiny uh yo kiddo you got to learn how to swim immediately oh oh man it's my first day it's your first day well it's an epic start you're just going to float along in a barrel okay so he's incredibly brave because this seems like a incredibly bad idea especially when you run into something like this I like the hearts on the sails pink cannonballs a pink ship fabulous okay I can't wait to meet the captain of this ship oh she's dope already everything oh I like her who oh she's brutal but she's got Style Oh yay where is the pirate Hunter roroa Sora Zoro don't deny he was on your ship I know Zoro must be after me who else is worthy of his Pursuit had list a pirates and their bounties and of course I was at the top actually your name wasn't H oh oh boy oh uh girl hey I got an idea no no no no no oh I like her Obby clean up this mess coming Captain Alo who she is brutal do I like her now I don't know if I like her you don't look like a pirate true what do they look like P of scum they thieves and murderers not the Pirates I know I want to meet those pirates then easy with this R it's worth more than the rest of the loop put together I captain Luffy was wondering when you'd pop up our favorite Street come to welcome us back how you been kid I'm not an urchin I'm a pirate Jing I'm ready to join your crew you're not ready I am and I'll show you okay what are you going to do going to take it easy on him Captain he's got their family to speak off the kids on his own better a disappointed kid now than a dead one later let's get this done hey Shas put it down Luffy before you hurt yourself I'm not afraid of getting hurt and I'll prove it to you oh he just stabbed himself in the face why would anyone want to be a pirate why would anyone step themselves in the face to prove it you have the the wind in your back salty Seer your loyal crew by your side it's all about being free nothing free about Al's apparently she tells me when to eat to sleep you should never let anyone tell you what you can't do I agree if I did that I never would have left my Village to go find the Wes I like his confidence once you enter the grand line never the grand line doesn't sound fun sounds kind of fun it does not sound fun Luffy Luffy I've already messed up his name head you North should hit land in a few days North which way is north what the hell is going on up there wow what's the meaning of this I that I can explain I'm Monkey De Luffy Monkey De Luffy remember the name cuz I'm going to be king of the Pirates oh boy I don't like her anymore own man no no he's not he's mine and'll always be mine turned out to be very unlikable so going to save my opinion 153rd Marine Branch so we're already going to get Kobe and the Marines I can't get inside the base for the gate I get inside flying can you bad pirates then yeah there are going to be good Marines and bad Marines too Fair assessment you'll be one of the good ones the great demon more like a misbehaving puppy tied up in the backyard what that but is that all you are Noom mm is that all you want Luffy's got away with people I made a promise to someone to become the world's greatest swordsman you can untie me but I'm still not going to join your crew okay I mean it I don't owe you anything that's not why he's doing it I just think it's a waste of time for you to be hanging out here m there's something you want out there I like Luffy's way of thinking I really do thanks oh zoro's definitely joining our crew at some point and then they're probably going to need the same map so then these two her and Luffy are probably going to get together you're not supposed to be in here Captain Morgan sent me to find a map of the grand line ahead of his security briefing this afternoon why would he do that all maps pertaining to the Grand line are kept underlock in K's private office I'm just following orders uhoh hey you want that go from the bar oops who stole my uniform okay okay girl oh I love it this is fine no problem maybe you and Luffy can break into Captain Morgan office and get the maps ohy oh whoa hey hey hey no don't do that I'm taking you into custody for trespassing on a Marine base better take yourself into custody too cuz you're not a marine M2 you stole that guy's uniform now you're looking for my map my map your map yep my map to the Grand line it's my map and I'm not leaving here without it well you guys are going to just have to share it then do you have any idea what you're doing looking for that Morgan guy's office what do they call him axent anyways you are going to get because he has an a for hand we need a plan yeah is that a picture of himself wow you got that guy swords oh and you're naked okay well oh boy are you going to kill me oh no I've got something much worse than mine put him in the yard naked escorting this prisoner to The Brak he was arrested for causing a disturbance in the Square what's your name private yeah what's your name Nami sir I expect great things from you yeah she's the best oh uh you're not supposed to be like that with her is that dumb enough to have actually fell for that that was amazing admited we do make a pretty good team we not the team uhuh map sharers maybe now all we have to do is figure out a way to get to A's office add a girl you should think about joining my pirate crew I am never joining anything with you I hate Pirates hate them okay well yeah that's because you don't know me yet he's so confident this guy really likes himself I'm going to find the map pretend you're not here but so why do you decide to become a thief I needed to eat do what you have to to survive just find the map oh look at all those ax hands oh good job Luffy good grief my Kee yeah you're not very smart Sound the Alarm ah she knows how to pick a lock or well figure out a combination no I think they're after the other Thief an idiot pirate trying to steal a map what are the OD of that [Laughter] kidding by the authority of the 153rd Marines you need to Hur me I can't rush uh you need to cuz he's breaking through his own damn door that's your idea yeah Luffy can you do that I know you're stretchy but like ah ah oh God that would be death how is that not death how did you do that I wouldn't be asking that I'd be like how do we get out of here are we going to see The Swordsman again I think we're going to see The Swordsman again after he's done with the Captain Morgan's son sniveling little idiot oh my God look at Luffy in the background oh my gosh this is amazing you guys make a great team wow you can't leave them go back go back nice ah I love him aren't you not drunk from the bar glad I made an impression definitely not a drunk impression I didn't get that at all fancy that the three of you working together yeah we're a crew nope not a crew together ah oh oh okay well uh you got to try different different tactic there nice nice it's not only the axe there'll be part of his body's a weapon including his jaw you go low they're not going to defeat Captain Morgan here right he's going to be the guy that we're facing the entire season oh okay oh third sword here we go ah so that's where it goes whoa oh oh nice I like it she's going to steal your map you're not careful gum gum whip fighers call out their finishing moves no they don't they up this beautiful moment but we need to get this safe out of here maybe if we find some rope or something excuse me so many surprises three swords amazing swordsman incredibly strong I'm impressed I'm impressed I saw a pink is that uh El's like little boat a little bit ofion amongst the crew not crew I can't leave without my friend where's Kobe the Marines are here already oh you're under arrest did you cut his hair what's wrong with his hair yeah I might have done that I won't let you make a joke of me I'm taking you in and handing you over to my father M I might even get a medal or something yeah thank you Kobe also felt really with pink hair no time to explain but we got to go I'm not coming with you you sure before we met every choice was made for me now I'm going to do what I want to do okay I'm going to be a marine next time we meet we might be enemies oh well for now we're friends okay well way to choose your own life Kobe I don't know why you'd want to be a marine with what you've seen but to each their own hq3 what oh with a dog with a bone oh yeah yeah the very friendly ship very friendly ship these guys hi that's my God this is gar what did they take weapons gold map oh what did they take are we sure that there are maps in that safe a map to the Grand line has been stolen by a pirate in a straw heart what is that mean oh is that a big deal please don't end okay good I was like give me more I must have been planning this for months winging it no I don't like clowns oh oh buggy yeah I'm bugged believe me I'm bugged I'm going to get it back no matter who I have to kill I believe you I can't look at you I don't like it okay okay let's talk about it I didn't know what I was getting into um Luffy stretchy stretchy Luffy um very different than kid Luffy is different than adult Luffy um which means that there's like some time that went on between there where he has become this person but he's very positive like I thought like he was very Smiley and I was like he seems really nice um but now there's this this thing with a pirate a straw hat I don't know if that's like a prophecy but the uh guy at the end there I know was the guy that the 22 years ago the the I don't know the names anyways um I will I will learn but I'm not going to stop my train of thought right now and look it up I will try to do a little bit of more research when I'm done but uh obviously Luffy with his STW hat has been foretold that I think I think I don't know uh that that that that he's important special but uh eating the demon fruit and becoming stretchy I would think that a lot of people would want to do that I don't know or devil fruit devil fruit not demon fruit same difference apparently but anyway um I don't know why more people aren't eating that I don't know if uh that's bad for you in the long run or I don't know having stretchy abilities seems great snaps back can deflect bullets I mean him getting shot was like and then he's like what what elvita I thought was so dope I loved her ship I loved the pink Canon balls she seemed very Fierce I was just like you know what if she's a good guy then that's great she is not a good guy neither is buggy who's very scary I don't like clowns I don't like clowns I hate clowns I hate them I hate them so much um yuck yuck yuck yuck yuck yuck yeah so Elita I don't think that she's done done and gone definitely we're going to see her again and I thought I saw a another rowo that had like the pink bird or whatever is on the front of her boat um I thought I saw that at East Bay East Blue Bay BL this Shell B so if you're new to my channel get used to this because I mess up names all the time locations things I think I know like I will say it with such confidence or if I don't I will out just let you know don't know if that was right but it's a lot to take in especially if you are not familiar with the characters or with the story um and to remember everybody and what's going on Baroque no good number seven was part of that tried to kill Zoro Roman romanoa Zoro I can't even get it out romanoa Zoro he's amazing first impression oh boy oh boy oh boy he is an amazing fighter compassionate taking care of that little girl um and you know him going back and helping Luffy and did she say her name was Nami I don't even know if that was her real name or if she was making it up but him going back and helping that tells you that he's got a Compassionate Heart and he's a good guy but he's also a pirate Hunter so I don't know how that's going to work being with a pirate and a thief um but he's really strong him just like picking up the safe like that's insane so like there is like some ability ities here that we don't know about and then the girl she's an expert thief she's as soon as like she woke up and she's like help me you know Pirates this I was like nah I don't trust her it's a Ruth I'm looking forward to Hersh nanigans I would have actually thought that she wouldn't have not that she had a choice to share the safe with anyone else but I feel like once that safe is cracked open and she has the map she might try to either leave them or or do whatever and try to like go on it on her own I don't think that she is like you know especially because they're both like saying like we're not a crew Luffy's great it's funny cuz I like don't dig kid Luffy but I like this one I like the adult one the captain that he had I believe is Shanks uh I like that guy too and he's right you can't solve everything with violence you can't just like run in and start kicking ass like you you have to have patience you know and him saying like you're not ready I think that he's correct I mean he's not that I think anything Pirates aren't good at all like there there's not such thing as a good pirate but you could have good men who are pirates right um because Pirates like they steal things and they pillage and plunder that's not a good act but I feel like you could be a a good person doing a bad thing and try to do it the right way as much as you possibly can but again that does not make you good so we got Kobe who's decided he's going to stay and be a marine I think the what he's envisioned in his head and what he's idealized about Marines is definitely not what we have been witnessing in any iteration that we have seen the Marines um not to say that there are no good Marines um but we've only seen the bad ones so I don't know how he's like you know what I want I still want to be a marine and I don't know if he's had pink hair the entire time but I love that they have different hair colors um I'm I I think we're going to see him again and he's like next time you see me we might be enemies is I doubt it I doubt it I think that Kobe is going to remember Luffy and he's going to remember him probably fondly um the one person that will not remember any of our people fondly is the son of the uh Captain of Captain Morgan which still cracks me up um but hand X xand xand Morgan yeah uh that his son is a weasel what a little weasel he reminds me of like Danny's brother varis yeah he he reminds me of Varys a lot what a wiener just a wiener oh man this is like really fun I didn't expect stretchy guy I didn't expect super strong guy swordsman I don't know she'd still count herself as a pirate But A thieving girl um to be the the core group but I'm really happy about it really excited I'm sure that people who are familiar with it were really excited to see these characters for the first time um and the other thing is is that I thought based on animation and comic book that it would be more innocent and it is not they went right to violence they went right to killing elvita like wasted no time smashing that guy's head the the number seven and being in the bag with his hair sticking out like like they are not shying away from the violence and I'm actually really excited for that because I don't like when they try to just soften things and disneyfy a lot of stuff I I like when they show like not just I don't like real killing but like I appreciate that they trust Their audience to be mature enough to handle it yeah I'm really I think I'm really going to like this show I'm really excited to get into it hopefully by the next episode I will have character's names memorized and uh I will look up what the girl's name is and hopefully it is that is her name and it won't be spoiled for me but you know what if I spoil a name for myself
