yeah some people could kind of jump it was treasure so that's what it was it was just a barn find something yeah see it turn out so hello everybody my name is farmer finn we're here at fighter fin vintage thursday is back with a bang we are here and we are going to look at two vintage tractors for today to make up for not having them for the last while and i was hoping to do this video where we'd be actually moving and doing something with them but the story season is in full tilt and we're just not kidding yeah we're just not getting time to do these things the the workshop and loft has pretty much come to a stand still and partially because we're so far away from homework and it's just by the time you the commute is a killer but when we get closer to home hopefully we'll be able to get back into the workshop and yeah you get finished up yeah so yeah it's just unfortunately not going too hard why did you do but anyways vintage thursday here we are what are we looking at father phil you're looking at her not feel universal uh oh i remember bringing it back anyways yeah oh that was a rough prairie crossing and as you know the first tractor that i had bought yeah was enough here yeah so i have a fierce soft spot for the nut i always wanted a tvo yeah very very rare in this country practically non-existent yeah and it's what they call a side valve engine right so there's no valves at the top of the head right they're in the side of the block right and flat top piston flat top head with a mag here's a magneto on the top yeah yeah now she has been converted to a coil which gives you a slightly stronger spark but she has a mag she's a very very old tractor yeah and with the serial number it's somewhere in 47 or 48 yeah not 100 sure but it's somewhere in that category and was running you just time to listen to it yeah and we brought it to a few there used to be a harvest festival committing here and there was a few days we've run away from binder with it yeah it has not the left hands were there but they never were on it and i bought half a mile in devon off ebay yep the red clear country god bless you be on red trail red clay country definitely i remember i remember everton was red the jeep was red the tre everything got red out of us he had a vast collection of nutrients yeah he probably had in excess of 50 diesel nut fields yeah this is the only tvo one he had yeah and he couldn't wait to get rid of him yeah because he didn't like the tv or nothing he just a connection of d i think he near enough every diesel not very variant there was yeah and he advertised it on ebay i bought it we contacted him and a couple of weeks it took us a couple of weeks long and he's gone over and we went over the jeep and trailer yeah took us three days we made a trip over it was most of our holidays when we were younger was always going over to pick up something as bobby says it was just an excuse to get away with the small holiday you went to an adventure park the first day really early sunday morning and we drove down to taunton sunday night without taunting sunday night and then one day you spent the day in an adventure park yeah and we picked it up one day evening yeah and we started back and we're back here wednesday night oh all i remember was the sea crossing rust there it was in march no there was so much there was snow on the way home the sea crossing there was you you were looking you you you were looking at the sky you're looking at the scene you were looking at the sky and you were looking at your dinner yeah and i actually remember um eric was with us and he wasn't he was feeling sick and i was asked to bring him to the toilet so i brought him to the toilet just got inside the door there everywhere the whole boat was taking all it was off the roof and then i told a budget car inside the door and i could just see your face going oh jesus and yeah that was all it was it was wrong when he comes back and he tells us eric was sick big big big revelation you know the big brother you know but anyway get back to paparazzi stories that is the story your man told me i like to have a little bit of history of what we buy if we can yeah and the story your man told me with that one was it was a part of a parent of this and actually no one was a forza and one was a nut field which one other one had both not even gonna had a winch on it at one stage i think he actually had the win channel and he took it off it was on in the states yeah from timber yeah and uh half accidents was cough yeah here as i was saying on the previous video these shafts stuck out a lot maybe four six inches on the center they were actually caught very very crudely yeah you can see how rough it is very crude that's an old rim the the way the lugs is on that rim it's the ancient yeah for the way the nuts is um but we use it yeah we used a little cup and harvest vegetables we never was painting we never denied them with it and unfortunately we were going to bring it to a patrick's day parade here and the morning of the parade it developed the knock of the engine yeah i think it has run a big environment yeah we're not 100 sure and she's an oil crank practice to one side that because it's it's somewhere in the lead for in the late 40s yeah that tractor ntt 964 is the registered number of us but when that was running oh it was just and it pulled seriously well when you let your foot up off the clutch uh the engine just wouldn't die back it it grunted into what he was doing and run up a straight paraffin all all day long yeah super super young and it's one of the things that has to get done look at life has been so so busy here hasn't gotten any simpler no i mean you're not doing a video at halftime at night definitely something seriously wrong here now something seriously pretty basic runs very well probably will paint it i'm undecided we'll have to get the sump off and get a look at that engine yeah because we check out she's probably on her original tires on the frontal sunny with definitely the battles i'm not so sure about boston oh no i love that fighter yeah i absolutely love that tractor that tractor runs when it was running it runs seriously and when enough came into it we just stopped straight away yeah and we thought maybe it could have been a timing issue but it's not there definitely is a tipping in the dog they're not coming down the last after having their crap are you better now you trying to be funny i make you clean it up not my dog my way neither what is that yeah it was written at the bottom or you can just about see uv two two ton two ton one hundred weight one hundred ways no quarters no quarters yeah that was that's written like that was um you said that's before met mexico yeah yeah you can't just see it there's more right on top of it then something without barely barely able to see it there something without yeah something else but it was supposed to be in the state that's what your mind told me he bought it over the state now maybe it never started his life in that estate or not i don't know he had it fine yeah he had it in a good way but he took the winch off it or maybe it wasn't maybe he's took the winch off it something along the lines of my head we would overbought we have 10 11 years now yeah and hasn't been running it's a good one now since then it's probably five years and since since since since since since since since since since since since since since since since since since since since since since since since since since since since since since since since since since since since since since since since since since since since since since since since since since since since since since since since since since since since since since since since since since yeah it's a good while now since the beginning was a great day for the likes of that to get it yeah and more people who might be driving that had come over to me i said don't do it in my head yeah just leave it you can't buy that look it's very very original she's wet there tonight because of the way the condensation is uh in the shade everything is dripping tonight it's just a change in the weather yeah but then we're evenings so anyways anyway we'll move on to the next one and just i know something you're going to say are light insists as i setup isn't um it's very extravagant it's as i was saying you can see it here you can see the light is installed up there just come in here now yeah it just didn't get that far and as always videos are made just as they are needed so anyways we'll move on he says to me when we're getting out of the jeep 25 minutes ago he says a bit now he says i need a video for tourists which is tomorrow which is tomorrow yeah yeah you're some boy or huh i picked it up from the best yeah you tripped across this anyway hey yes what did we say about this e-27n this is an e-27n um by the serie number 1947. yeah low gear not a high gear low gear i mean there was one that was quite fast on the road which is called a high gear yeah and then the one which is basically a standard one which is a low gear right this is a load gear one now that's particularly going up for a crash that's not bertie's no progress you are going to be cleaning that up bertie i'm telling you there he is look berkeley wasn't upstairs at all um e27 owners will know the clutch pedal is on to their side what clutch is on the brake side yes there's your form right there all right clutch pedal is on this side brakes is on that side yeah i suppose you could see it was before the standard eyes yeah yeah yeah i suppose it's i we had it rolling yeah i remember i remember you paul no i'll just walk up the side now just to show you what condition it is in it was running in this condition minus um a few bits with random rods on it yeah we had the tank cake now and uh birds no it's all keys off the ash trees uh that pipe comes off anyway uh we had it running um one quite well yeah very hard started but didn't i very hard to know when that was started before yeah because it's as as you can see it's in prime condition i suppose you want the story behind it yeah you might as well yeah um before i bought this one um i probably was about 2008 2009 i went over tingling for a bit of a holiday i always loved quant england absolutely adorable in england and it's just tillage machinery machinery it goes hand in hand we decided well i decided mommy came along we went to the vintage auctions in cambridge yeah just for a walk around we're walking out by a stand and was led and he had pictures up on the back of his stand here and there and uh it was a picture of this barn find yeah literally pulled out of the barn it's probably just in the same state i took the tank off it thank you yeah the tank is over it's over here no it's it's upstairs upstairs no no it's over there the propeller is on it yeah and baron find yeah and i says what's the story with these i kind of always wanted one i know i'd like to get a ford a mud lane or uh the one before that yeah as well but um is it is it green paint and where they were blue so you can just see the the pink hand or whatever that is they had ready to force them and they're ready to forge and still kind of it could be a kind of a greenish paint um doesn't mind it was dealing in south vintage stuff and bought the contents of a barn and didn't realize what was in the bar until he went to clean it out this was under the contents of the barn so he was down in devon as well he was a good journey from up from cambridge so we were doing that the next day we went down we rang him up good i'll drive down sure came to a car doesn't really matter and uh we went down the bar yeah and then we made another holiday hovers going to pick it up i'm going to collect it i remember going to pick it up and it was a nice hour run put something i was thinking and get done but because a lot of things going on here and look wasn't with us for a while and we just couldn't do that thing so this is one of the things but it's it's all intact yeah all of this is all about she's not cracked and i had a run under with a great spark in it i have a brother that's very very handy with old mags and he took the mega off and went off and done a bit of a job on it and come back and she has got the ring gear teeth yeah on the on the flywheel right some of them had the starter haul but not in on the flight for a starter so right it can be a starter perhaps all right oh that's why that's there that's where starter will go that's where your starter was was a special starter there because that's immersed in oil yeah there's no oil pump in that engine right which is what's called a drip drip he's going up him no he's not he's coming to see what's going on look at him all right bertie that right doesn't talk anyway um that was this it's um them tires removed earlier was kind of we got some foreign a few things but i'm steering within bad condition i got steering first look we picked a block of stuff here and there we had it running it was very hard started but who did run yeah and there's not much else you can see about yeah it's just one of them many many many projects around the place well is he i bought her project every year yeah and just didn't finish how are you didn't finish a project any year the 35x is the only one that ever got done well sorry it's not 35x i've established it said 35 just keep reminding myself that so look anyways that that's really it there's not much else to say about the fords and though as you can see it is it's in the barn fight yeah nothing really changed it would never do nothing it runs just yeah everybody has a lift yeah that's all working out that one is definitely 1947 and it would be unusual for it to have had a lift yeah most of them would have been made just for either towing it hasn't been your shaft as well yeah i even seen them with dog pto chefs yeah just another bed pulley the belt pulley on that one on that side there she's not dead pulley we actually had it we had it hooked up to the 35 with the belt pulley yeah and the spark plug got over and we had run for a half an hour when even get the oil all up into it really circulating the race was ripped off for some reason the brakes came on the hat and not under half shots but a small bushy he told me that the mind had all this it was his wife that told him the contents of the bar yeah and he he he never saw that and when he bought another tractor he just parked the last one and there was a few tractors in the chamber didn't realize this one was in there i think the kind of well some people could kind of jump it was a treasure so that's what it was it was just a barn find actually there's the original yeah the whole tired wavy power pattern and she was born built after the war of course the steed were scarce the older ones the the the standards had the big wide mud guards yeah and jordan award shortened this less than s10 that's what it was for 1947 sectors yeah there's two twenties yeah you didn't do them yet no yeah no okay i think we'll leave it at that as you know yeah look we have enough and look we still have lots of vintage tractors to go through i do apologize i was hoping that this video would have been the plan with them is to turn them around and land them in that way put on our tractor we'll be able to fit in more vintage tractors in here well that's what this is for us so that someday we can take them out and restore them maybe in the next five years i'd like to think from this one next from 2021's winter on where we should be able to get a tractor done a year now that we actually have space to work at something and four columns and four combines and a trasher yeah the list is for sure now i don't know i'd attractive i don't think so no oh well you haven't seen me be every second week maybe every second it's just gonna be one of these things but we will eventually get through the hill attractor to pull out yeah look it's just one of them things so look at that
