MORE HAY SOLD, LOADING UP OUR LORRY & THE OLD SANDERSON STILL GOING STRONG!

hey guys it's nick welcome back to the channel hope you're all keeping safe and well so i'm just heading up to our hay shed i've got my cousin will coming up to collect the last load of hay that we have sold so this is the hay that we've sold on this side of the shed on this side this is all stuff that i will use up we've got some wheat straw here that i will use to bed down the shed at lambing time i've also got some hay over there as well which i'm pretty sure i will get through thing is i don't have that many animals i just keep a few sheep so what we've done is we've found some people with some hungry animals who are more than happy to have some hay so wills is going to come up and collect these bales and deliver them for us as well put the bales on their end like this because wills has a grab so he'll just be able to come in with his loader grab a bale load up simple i've made it easy for him here he is look at that trailer massive trailer envy [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Applause] right got another load of fertilizer to take over the farm too i know this is what i did in my last video but come on guys who doesn't love a video with the tm love this chapter [Applause] [Applause] do [Music] wet and windy today so question that i get asked a lot on my channel is regarding our lorry a lot of you guys have said you know you've seen the lorry in the background on the videos and you want to know a little bit more about it i get asked a lot is the lorry hours the lorry is ours it's a volvo fh13 we do have a haulage side to the business it used to be a bigger enterprise we used to run quite a few lorries but for the last few years we've just had the one we haul all of our own grain we contract the lorry out as well we have our own driver who does all of that but unfortunately for reasons that i'm not going to go into too much detail on we are going to be giving up that side of the business in the coming weeks it's a decision um we've had to make unfortunately but it's just the way it goes sometimes we've still got some grain to take out in fact our driver ray will be loading up this afternoon he'll be loading up some wheat so i'll try and get some footage of the lorry it's sort of the end of an era um i'm afraid but um yeah i'll try and get some footage it'll probably be one of the last chances i'll get to show you guys [Applause] so so we've got two led beacons to put on haven't we what is this right now look you're riley oh yeah we cleaned it i did watch your last uh video and uh i thought it was pretty sad it was a bit unfair for port o'reilly i didn't like using the chain pulling it about we haven't done any damage to it no we pushed it in here didn't we it's heavier than you think yeah it is heavy i know this fuel getting to the car better another one of your viewers pointed out it could be in the carburetor in the carburetor yeah i think it is good plugs could well be yeah well she looks uh she looks better since you've given her a bit of a clean up yeah she looks better if you look closely the coach work isn't brilliant but it's it's it's reasonably solid there's some sort of woodwork issues with it it's all built on wood the door is all ash framed little little nails little tiny tacks yeah yeah and that you get problems like um under there's a mesh a mesh roof where the yeah it's all on timber i know it's gone under there you can actually just rotten these sections were available from the wiley club are you a member of the riot club no there's a there's a specific club the raleigh rm club and the riley club that's very specific yeah that's very specific um the valley rm club is uh an elite group with an all these bits are available but if you strip this off you'll see all these tim sections and you'd have to what they want rebuilding yeah yeah every assembly is built up on timber on timber right and usually really traditional it is i think it was the last coach built riley they made actually yeah i think it was all evidence stamped out yeah it's like sitting on a sofa it's very comfy no power steering of course no power steering i think it would end up in thousands of hours probably would do again yeah so why not keep it running so at least you can drive a public or something yeah when the pubs are open we'll have a look at these leds that's why that's why we're in here although it turned into a nice day so we're gonna do something else to make use of the good weather yeah i'm going to get this going for the summer yeah that'll be good yeah get me on the insurance and say i want to drive yes okay good nice new stainless bolts yeah nice usain is bolts you got it yeah i've got it oh there's a drawing here have you got a jaw in there yeah there's a join yeah i've got one bit the join just there i think this side's easy to get to but yeah this one isn't no right so you might have to do it snip it and draw on both of them then we'll get some really good joy you don't want any old joy do you let's go down and have a look at the lamp shot which is probably a wet day job isn't it too nice outside really yeah i hope there's gonna be okay the led led let's um we'll offer it up what you don't want is a bomb you don't want to barge no dodge jobs are never good they're never good they're going to line up i think can you see that one down your side yeah yeah yeah it's going to line up right so that's something if we unbolt it at least the same holes are being used same holes but i think you're going to have to snip the wire at least we know they're going to fit on you're in the fighting chart so then it'll be just that off won't it and this one will be in its place but led definitely better have led he's got to be better hasn't it definitely right i've had a lot of you guys ask about the old girl the sanderson we brought her home from farm to for the winter and as you can see she's pretty mucky so that's my next job give her a wash down so she scrubs up well considering her age she's in fairly good condition yeah a very handy bit of kits i've kicking about for odd jobs [Applause] no button for the pin lock in the cab though
