Not Gonna Do It

[Music] hey Mason and I we have been working on my trailer today we had a little mishap with the top nose had a cable break up there so we've been up there fixing it and I had to run down to Ace Hardware pick up a few things that we need so we can finish that little project while I went down there well back up just a little bit yesterday I called the guy that does paintless dent repair and while I was down there he said he could be here in 20 minutes and we're gonna fix where the Bulls ran into my truck yesterday those of you that watched yesterday's vlog or the last vlog I should say you'll know that yesterday I had a couple of big bulls get in a fight with each other one of them hooked the other one and slammed him into the side of my truck it could have been a lot worse than it was but as it turned out we got the door just a little bit right there there's a little crinkle right there in the door I may just leave it but this right here if you know me very well you know that I can't drive around with that smashed in like that just not going to do it I know it's a ranch truck but I like my stuff clean and I like my stuff to look as good as it can so the dent lists or the paintless dent repair guy should be here shortly and we're going to film a little bit about how he gets dents out without taking that fender off that's amazing to me he says he can make it look like new for one price and for another price he can get it about 80% right I told him I take the 80% right price and so that's what he's gonna do so he'll be here in just a little bit I'm kind of excited to see how he does it you can see it pretty good from right here anyway that's what we're gonna be doing for the next just a little bit here Mason might do a little four-wheeler riding but I'm gonna be right here forever hey so while we're waiting for the paintless dent repair day Mason and I are finishing up up here in the nose of this trailer what had happened was I had an eye bolt right in here that because this broke right here so I put an eye bolt in here that was my bad there was too much weight on that and the one on the other side tore out so I had to put the eye bolt back here in this thicker part and I got it in and the one on the other side I was able to use I was able to use the island that was there right there so we'll try them for a little while there's a lot of a lot of strain on that right there when you lift this nose up in the air which we're gonna do here in just a second did you get it Mason mason's my tool runner okay did you get your pliers I'm gonna go down below and tighten that I bowled up just a little bit while mason holds on to this up here keeps it from turning hey so my paintless dent repair guy shows up he speaks three languages Portuguese Spanish the nameless but we're only using the English portion here because I don't know but anyway it amazes me because when I look at this dent you know I'm thinking like hey we got to take this fender off we got to get a new fender maybe he looked at it and what can he fix it yes sir yeah we're gonna use special blue tabs out what you guys saw initially is I was just spraying 91% alcohol to clean the surface of the glue and that 91% of work is a good ham sanitizer - yeah so this is just a special tab here system here it's gonna hug the body line you've got your natural body line that runs all through here that's been pushed in and then this flex so it's got some flexibility and I'm all I'm gonna do is reform that body line here with with glue and then I've got a slide hammer that's gonna fit through here and we're gonna start moving metal as soon as my glue how long does it take that to try the glue once you put it on there oh within a minute minute or so it'll dry up and it'll stick these are all my different blues for different temperatures and the slide hammer that's gonna start moving then how do you turn now how do you turn that glue loose or that stays on my truck forever now what's like the worst dent you've been able to add or that we just came down a lot of this stuff is pressure points and stuff I mean there's some stuff obviously that you just gotta turn it you see there's got it yeah so that's the fine tuning part is getting the ripples out and all the ripples out and since you know this so like there's a ripple there here so now I start using glue just smaller tabs and start moving but yeah that took out that tooked out that probably got 80% right there he told me on the phone yesterday he said hey I can get it back well he actually said I'll give you two prices I said okay so he gives them to me I said I'll take the 80% fix it 80% so he's done he's leaving that's pretty crazy even then it but these tools are not cheap I tell you that every manufacturer there you are super proud of this setup obviously you can see why because it moves a lot of metal and the cool thing is is you keep your factory paint you don't have to hire take this to a body shop yeah I know repaint the whole thing oh the whole panel they were there and then the trouble the trouble is I've had stuff like that painted so like like you mess up a door or a fender or whatever and they paint it and then it doesn't match the rest of the truck because the rest of the truck paint is old and they put a new coat on yeah no I'm just gonna fine-tune a little bit of this kind of ripple effect in a little bit here yeah we can make this obviously we can make this look like it never happened so it's looking pretty good right now yeah oh yeah I'm just gonna you know why you guys are doing your thing fine tuned I mean that literally took two minutes yeah no no this is just a light and it really shows me oh I see but the Sun is like the enemy yeah so we need to move it the truck no I'm gonna set up an umbrella right here oh yeah yeah you can see right yeah there's one there still a little yep then right here uh-huh [Music] little bit here this crowns got to come down I got a you know special start knocking this down but yeah I mean the girth of it came out now just the fine tuning part of it okay [Music]
