Expensive Day

hey everybody welcome back to Arizona we were in Albuquerque New Mexico over the weekend at the USTR si rope and produced by Red Rock team roping productions we enjoyed ourselves we saw a lot of people that we don't see all the time and it was fun I forgot something over here that's why splatter on some stuff today it's 40 degrees right here in snowflake middle of January I'm kind of loving this mild weather and you know anytime I've been gone for a couple of days I like to go check on my horses however I'm out of grain so I'm going to have to stop by the local feed store everything's being locked up because we've been gone I love that open anyway I'm going to get a little supplement here and we're going to head out buy some driving go check on the pony [Music] [Music] right so here I am a seed store I'm going to get me a couple of socks tray [Music] they feel there's no scientific formula to how or why I do this here's what I like to feed my horses I like to feed them you roll steamed oats and then I add just a little bit of what's called cob which is corn oats and barley and this cough speed has a little bit of molasses on it and I give just a little bit of that not very much oh that's the combo that I feed like I say there's no rhyme or reason really good and then I heat these pellets right here this supplement which is bio main what does anybody else out there do give me some ideas I know I don't have I know I don't have the answers not my favorite thing to do but it is warm today to go feast right back here it's warm but it's a little bit windy what do you think did I do alright and I've got to run down to Holbrook and pick up some supplements for Seattle and while I'm down there I've got to pick up and pay for the registration it'll cost over a thousand dollars okay so here's the rule for you if you want it to rain wash the vehicle it was a little cloudy when I started washing that Peterbilt but look right now good thing about it my truck is clean so whatever rain and dirt attaches to it ought to just rinse off with a garden hose right I hooked up that trailer and I'm going to head down to Holbrook and see if I can get wet down there funny thing is the weather forecast didn't show for any rain up here until like Friday alright Hobert sound trying to get to the DMV Department of Motor Vehicles alright so I made it to DMV they're still open itself after 4:30 they only give information and I'm before 4:30 so I'm going to go inside and get my registration on this truck well that was quick but a little painful four thousand and sixty dollars is what it cost it's pretty good junk change isn't it all right I'm heading to get a little supplement let's go see how that goes that's going to be expensive too because that stuff's like $500 a ton I'm going to get about three tons of it not sure if I pull around back or if I go in the prop just spent $1,700 in tractor supply been an expensive afternoon hey so let's gals pretty hand out here running a forklift [Music] Oh but if they that lady's pretty handy right there my job [Music] I think the rains over I wish it would have rained a bunch all right welded wire cattle panels that's what we're after right now so there we have it it's all strapped down ten cattle panels three pallets of supplement headin just no place that's what I thought I really shouldn't that I'm going to eat me a milkshake on the way back don't tell anybody okay it's our little secret it's always something isn't it I just heard a big boom I'm going to go back and investigate I bet I blew a tire and on this particular trailer right here I don't have a spare that tire is flat tires ruined so I'm just going to try to limp home with it it's going to have to take your time slow and easy I'm sure it'll fall apart on me but tires already run what you did [Music] alright we're still limping along the tire have completely fallen apart fourteen miles to go to get them to have [Music] I think when I get the top the hill a barrel stop Texas under tire good flows we've got a big problem [Music] now that's higher that's how it's definitely about comfort this one it's not too warm so thinkin we might live in and make it I'm ready for today to be over about dark how many of you have ever lived in on a retired trailer had to tie an axle laughter just drove on a flat just to get where you were gone well we made it home the other tire held up and we just pulled into the driveway I've got a load about fine bells I hae on that tractor and go feed some hungry cattle down here at the bottom of the arena we'll see you tomorrow morning good night
