[Applause] and the tech team andrew and sam back there making it happen the unsung heroes most of the time come on so that was so good all right man i'm pumped to be with you guys let me get this church it's fantastic ron's shoes are on point this morning and i was like dang watch out now and uh so uh you know i'm good friends some of my best friends actually are matt gonzalez and craig ferris and i heard they had been out here so i immediately called chris i was like hey if you need someone to come and clean up the heresy i'll uh i'll be glad to do that come out and so uh glad we were able to put this together and i have two core values that i live my life by number one is if i can't laugh i'm not going you won't see me there so everybody can relax and have a good time this morning number two is if we're not changing the world i'm not playing and so the reason that i'm here is i believe i'm going to have the opportunity or am experiencing the opportunity currently to speak to a room full of world changers and world builders so thanks for having me i'm excited to be here and so i've been married to my beautiful wife beth for 16 years she's amazing we were hoping she was going to be able to come with me but she does she's a teacher and then she does choreography for our local theater and they had a new show come up and so she's engaging in that and advancing the kingdom purposefully in the theater department there in amarillo and yes my nine-year-old daughter is in kids church having a good time and so i grew up in south oak cliff which is inner city dallas we were the only white family and so i did grow up rapping and playing basketball i was only good at one of those and i know that without the intro you would be confused as or which one was he good at because he doesn't look like he was good at either one but it was definitely not basketball and but now i am a government prophet a prophet to government especially my metron is in global government i work within the u.n covertly and so uh dub is my nickname which worked out super good because all the ministry stuff i do is under dub alexander all the governmental stuff i do is under my legal name no one's put two and two together so i've been flying under the radar in the united nations it's a good time you know we really do need to talk about the serious issue of one world government though you know it's called the kingdom and so i'm excited about that and so gotcha everywhere i got i love that joke man everybody leans in i knew it i watched that youtube video on the one world government the mark of the beast is coming out of the united nations no no kingdom is the one world government it's it's uh and it's already won actually so everybody can be at peace right we're simply advancing what jesus established amen and so uh you know when you were a prophet in government and you're showing up as an advisor as a consultant you have to do verbal engineering in your prophetic and so that's one of my favorite things to do is to teach people how to take what it is that they're hearing from the lord prophetically verbally engineer it into secular language so that the government official or whoever it is that you are called to influence regardless of their faith background is able to receive the wisdom and the love of the lord so that the people that they influence get to experience the goodness of god and so uh in addition to my work in government i'm also the founder of school of kingdom in which i help discover develop and deploy prophetic kingdom reformers because we are in the season of reformation we've experienced the season of revival where we have become alive to the goodness of god to the power of the holy spirit but we have experienced revival for the sake of reformation to showing up in the world as the walking talking breathing solutions of god when you show up the kingdom shows up in whatever sphere of influence you're called to and so it's an exciting time to be alive amen all right and so i didn't bring any uh resources with me because right now i'm just uh really pushing a free resource everybody say free free is good so you all start smiling everybody loves free and so on your phone regardless if it's iphone or if you're not saved yet and you have an android if you go if you go to your app store uh some of y'all are shaking your black icon with a white shield and it comes with the school intro to kingdom course for free on there so please enjoy that all right so um i i have a word for the house uh that i wanted to start with and um i've got some more that i'm to share with you all later on especially but i wanted to reference some of this publicly here today so that you know what you have the opportunity to receive from if you have clarity and language that surrounds the anointing and the gifting that is on the house that you're a part of then you are able to instead of intuitively experiencing that goodness you're able to intentionally experience that goodness and so i was talking with the lord and there is a um there is a strong abraham isaac and jacob thing that's going on in this house right now and uh there is a there is the abrahamic anointing that is available here and i know that that has to do with you sir and so i just want to honor you for your faithfulness and the father heart that you carry and what it is that you did to build this and to uh to store up the inheritance as a righteous man does so i want to honor you sir and so the abrahamic anointing is about faith and it's about fathering and so i could you know speak another half hour on that but uh uh you know it also contains the angelic piece and so as as i was reading this i was like oh that's why the intro into my relationship with you guys came through an invitation for angelic activation training you know when abraham is sending out eleazar to go and find a wife for his son he says this in genesis chapter 24 verses 40 through 41 and he abraham said to me eliazer the lord before whom i walk will send his angel with you and prosper your way and you shall take a wife for my son from the family and from my father's house you will be clear from this oath when you arrive among my family for if they will not give her to you then you will be released from my oath but the main thing i want you to point there is that abraham was aware of how to acknowledge activate and authorize the angelic even in the old covenant structure because he was a man of faith and because he was a father that wanted to send his children from his house out fully equipped he had learned how to unlock that principle and so when those videos come available make sure you catch that because uh there is the impartation of knowing how to uh activate the angelic that i brought to this house that already has an anointing for it and so it's going to be highly you guys are going to have a high success rate in that it's going to be amazing but what i really want to key in on right now is on isaac because that is the season that you guys are in that's the generation that you're in you're benefiting from the generation of abraham you are the generation of isaac and you are raising up the generation of jacob and so um you know the first thing i want to look at is isaac's inheritance isaac means he who laughs right and when i walked in this morning i leaned over to pastor chris i was like man there's a lot of joy in here and then it clicked i was like oh yeah because isaac and he laughs and so the joy of the lord is your strength and so it's interesting here it says that the lord began to interact with isaac in genesis chapter 26 verses 2 through 4 and it said then the lord appeared to him isaac and said do not go down to egypt live in the land of which i shall tell you dwell in this land and i will be with you and bless you for to you and your descendants i will give all these lands and i will perform the oath that i swore to abraham your father and i will make your descendants multiply as the stars of heaven and i will give to your descendants all of these lands and in your seed all the nations of the earth shall be blessed all right and so there's a there was an inheritance that was built up with the abraham generation and then because the isaac generation chose to stay and to dwell in the land they are not only benefiting from the inheritance of the abraham generation but now that promise has been reconfirmed a double anointing of what was promised to the first generation and so those of you who are wise enough to attend this house you should walk out believing that the lord has land that he wants to give you and the lord has nations that he wants to bless through you all right so how many of you know that someone who owns land is called a lord all right how many of you know jesus is the king of if he's your king that makes you a king oh let's try that again all right it's not a trick question those are coming later about 30 minutes in all right if jesus is the king of kings and he is your king that makes you a that's right come on somebody if jesus is the lord of lords that makes you eh right now this is a little bit awkward right because this isn't taught a lot because we have this religious thing about the word lord but lord is the owner of a territory all right how many of you know that man was made to have dominion over territory all right in fact i just feel faith rising up in me right now for people who have never owned their own home owned the place that their business operates out of or owned territory if you've never owned that but you want to experience that i want you to stand to your feet right now if you have owned your own property but you have a dream in your heart that is going to require more land i want you to stand up as well [Laughter] come on sweet all right and the only prerequisite for well there's a couple of prerequisites but the main prerequisite for the lord releasing blessing into your life is for your agreement and alignment with knowing that the blessing that god gives you is for the sake of others all of the blessings are for you they're just not about you right blessing is for you it's not about you favor is for you it's just not about you wealth is for you it's just not about you land is for you it's just not about you right and so i just want you to uh to just repeat this decree after me so just say this i'm a king and i'm a lord because i serve the king of kings and the lord of lords i recognize that there is a blessing of land territory homes businesses in this place and i choose powerfully to reach out and to apprehend the blessing in this house and to see it manifest in my life i will own territory and more territory for the sake of others let this be so all right you guys can have a seat come on [Applause] all right so uh the land is a big piece the knowing that you are made to be a blessing you're blessed to be a blesser right if the lord can get it through you he will get it to you that's in this house uh the second anointing that isaac um the second piece that i want to get to is the two anointings that isaac walked in uh one of which would be genesis chapter 26 verses one through 12-14 which says this then isaac sowed in the land and reaped in the same year a hundred fold and i should have had the verse prior to this here i don't know what it is but what happened was this is deering a famine all right so there was a famine in the land then isaac sowed in that land what land the land that was experiencing famine and the lord blessed him he reaped in that same year a hundred fold and the lord blessed him the man began to prosper continued prospering until he became very prosperous for he had possessions of flocks and possessions of herds and a great number of servants so even the philistines envied him how many of you know that you should be representing the goodness and the abundance of your father so powerfully that those who do not know him yet are envious of you what does it look like to serve that god come on oh he's teaching that prosperity gospel i think you're not preaching the poverty gospel right you can find that everywhere i only preach the gospel of the kingdom which happens to include abundance because you have a good dad how many of you know that my daughter has all of her needs met and more right we went to go to the mall yesterday and she was hoping there was a vans store there which there was and we happened upon a disney store guess who got stuff from vans and disney right she may have needed the shoes from vans i promise you she didn't need anything from the disney store but she got it all right because i'm a good father and i have abundance for my daughter your father has abundance for you come on it's just not about you [Laughter] so you should be walking you should be recognizing that there is an anointing on this house to do things that don't make sense with what's going on in the rest of the world to be a house that is in a year of famine and chooses to sow and reaps a hundred fold you should recognize that prosperity is in this house so and what is the reason for that so that those who do not know the goodness of god yet say hey what's different about the people at northgate gate i'm gonna go check out the god that they're serving all right because they are well taken care of they are representing a king when they show up in the culture of our city i love that his second anointing is found in genesis chapter 26 verse 19 it says also isaac's servants dug in the valley and found a well of running water there and you'll find if you read through this whole story which i would highly encourage you to do that there are three times when there is a need for water and the servants go out they dig a well and they find water each time now i don't know what it's like here it's probably a little easier here than where i live but definitely in the middle east you could not count on finding water every time that you dug a well and so there's a supernatural anointing that's available in this house that's available for you to be able to go out and to put your hand to a thing and for it to bring a return to you for you to dig down into your purpose in accordance with your calling and for the water of life to spring up for you to be rewarded for your efforts come on somebody rewarded for your efforts you see there's there's this double anointing of prosperity in this house because one you are inheriting some of it and secondarily there is a blessing on the work of your hands for the work that you put in to prosper come on i feel like i'm more excited than some of they are man what's going on here it's all good come on now this uh the third thing i want us to look at we looked at isaac's inheritance we looked at his anointing and now i want to look at isaac's blessing because you know we always hear the story about how esau stole jacob's in jacob's inheritance his blessing but let's look at what happened when isaac blessed when isaac blessed jacob and then when he blessed esau it says this in genesis chapter 27 verse 28 when isaac is blessing jacob he says therefore may god give you of the dew of heaven everyone say dew of heaven and of the fatness of the earth everyone say fatness of the earth and plenty of grain and wine that's amazing now esau comes in to receive a blessing and this is supposed to be a second-rate blessing right because the oldest son was supposed to get the good stuff but watch what it says genesis chapter 27 verse 39 then isaac his father answered and said to him behold your dwelling shall be of the fatness of the earth everyone say fatness of the earth and of the dew of heaven everyone say dew of heaven from above come on somebody do you see that even when the oldest brother who had sold his birthright was supposed to receive an inferior blessing when it came time for isaac to bless him he couldn't downgrade the blessing it was one blessing delivered to both sons which tells me that those of you who are secure in your identity and are able to say yes i deserve to be able to walk in that blessing i have been made worthy when i was born again in the image of christ that that blessing is for you and for those of you who don't have the faith yet to think that you are worthy to receive that blessing you receive the same blessing because it's coming from the same father and mother of the same house are you with me come on yes fatness of the earth i'm like that was my rapper name back in the day house just playing [Laughter] all right so uh you guys go back and watch that video and then begin to study it out for yourself what was isaac's inheritance what was isaac's anointing and what was isaac's blessing because when you choose for this house to be your home to come to to be equipped you get to apprehend all of those blessings and walk out of here knowing that you own them expect to see them manifest put your hand towards things that the lord says to partner with that to see it manifest and you're going to be walking in that it's going to be amazing and now i want to prophesy a little bit into the future here uh talking about jacob because it went from abraham to isaac to jacob now the the name jacob means supplanter what does to supplant means it means to supersede and to replace to become better right supersized and then the old becomes obsolete the word supersede means to take the place of or to take the position of and how many of you know that that is exactly what needs to happen in the world right now there are so many things going on in all areas and aspects of our culture that needs to be superseded by the kingdom's way of doing that thing in our education system in our nation there needs to be a kingdom curriculum a kingdom strategy a kingdom way of doing education that rises up supersedes the current and that causes it to pass away are you with me in business right now there needs to be a kingdom way of doing business a kingdom strategy of doing business there needs to be kingdom businessmen that rise up and just naturally because they implement the ways of god in the way that they do business that this new way of doing business rises up supersedes the current way and causes it to pass away now what we have to catch here is that in the old covenant you would tear down and then you would build we see this in jeremiah chapter 1 verse 10 see i have this day set you over nations and over kingdoms to root out and to pull down to destroy and to throw down then to build and to plant but how many of you know that that is an old covenant paradigm you are operating under a new covenant paradigm which is to build first and then the other is naturally torn down i love how matt gonzalez says it this way he says never tear down someone's house build them a better one and they'll naturally move into it and that's the way of the kingdom and so some of the confusion that we're seeing in the world right now is we in our righteous anger right seeing the injustice in the world we are rising up and we're pointing up what should not be and saying that shouldn't be that way and nothing's happening because that's not a part of the covenant that we're a part of that's not how things are working in this season we need to ignore what's happening here pay attention to what's happening in heaven build that and everyone will naturally migrate into the kingdom way of doing things and then we can tear that down and build something kingdom there are you with me so that's the next generation that's going to be coming up out of this house is going to be supplanters it's going to be builders of kingdom things right why is there such a prosperity call on this generation because it you are made to equip the coming generation of builders i hope y'all i hope this is you're getting this come on so that abraham generation was all about gathering right fathers do what they gather the children in right gathering this current isaac uh generation is about equipping and this next generation of which is present in this room right now is about building the new kingdom thing that will cause the old worldly thing to naturally pass away it's like how david provided for solomon to build the temple because the next age that's coming is the age of the solomons right now we are in the age of the daniels of the josephs of the esther's it's the time for the prophets to be in the ear of the quote-unquote scripturally speaking evil kings and that's what's happening that's how i move but you know what's better than an evil king with a prophet in his ear is a righteous king in the throne and that's what's coming that's what's coming because we are catching the restoration of the revelation of the kingdom we are becoming aware that we are made for dominion that there are thrones of influence in every sphere of society that have our names on it and it's waiting for us to show up because we are one with the one who knows all the things and we carry the heart of the father we realize that kingship is about serving and you are made for dominion come on the reformers are rising up but they're going to need fathers and mothers that have everything that they need to equip them to reform abraham isaac jacob gathering equipping supplanting all right and then secondarily and then i'll start preaching oh my goodness secondarily i have a word for the season that you're in okay and the season that you're in i believe is amos chapter 9 verses 11 through 15 which says this on that day i will raise up the tabernacle of david which has fallen down and repair its damages i will raise up its ruins i will rebuild it as in the days of old why is he doing this that they may possess the remnant of edom and all the gentiles who are called by my name why is god raising you up in the season why is he equipping you in the season why is he providing you in this season so that all those in this area who do not know him yet i call them the the pre-kingdom peeps right so that they might come to know the god that you serve says the lord who does this thing behold the days are coming says the lord and i speak this as a prophetic decree over this house when the plowman shall overtake the reaper and the treader of the grapes of him who sow seed the mountains shall drip with sweet wine and all the hills shall flow to it i will bring back the captives of my people israel they shall build the waste cities and inhabit them they shall plant the vineyards and drink wine from them they shall also make gardens and eat fruit from them i will plant them in the land and no longer shall they be pulled up from the land that i have given them says the lord and everybody who wants a piece of that says amen all right so here we go into the message so um if you are going to navigate a season of blessing and outpouring of abundance then one of the things that needs to be renewed in your mind is the understanding and the apprehension of favor everyone say favor so that's what we're going to talk about today favor is one of my favorite things thank you all right they're back here we go and so uh you know i walk in a ridiculous amount of favor god calls me his favored son you know i'm called to the government mountain i've shown up in a country before with zero plans zero connections ended up with the president of that country that's the type of favor that i walk in i carry an impartation of favor which is what we're going to end with today that's going to be a lot of fun but i want to lay a scriptural basis for favor and this is great i didn't i wasn't even planning on preaching on this until this morning but this comes on the heels of the angelic activation which you're able to catch the replay of and angels use they are the instruments or the agents of favor they are the ones who are putting favor in front of you that are setting up divine connections that are making sure that you are in the right place at the right time with the right person to accomplish what it is that god wants you to do which by chance will be the working definition of favor that we will be using this morning favor is what god uses to put you at the right place at the right time with the right people to be able to accomplish what it is that he wants you to do and so when we look at favor we see in genesis 6 8 that noah found favor in the eyes of the lord esther 2 17 the king was attracted to esther more than any of the other women and she won his favor first samuel chapter 2 verse 26 and the boy samuel continued to grow in stature and in favor with the lord daniel chapter 1 verse 9 now god had caused the official to show favor and compassion to daniel and jesus himself in luke chapter 2 verse 52 it says grew in wisdom and in stature and in favor with god and with man you see favor is an unexplainable unexpected undeniable preferential treatment favor is an unexplainable unexpected undeniable experience of preferential treatment and god uses this grace called favor to put you where you need to be when you need to be there with who you need to be with in order to accomplish what it is that he has for you to do because favor is for you it's just not about you and there is no story that i believe personifies this principle of favor more than the story of joseph and so i'm going to be running through some scriptures because we need to get from genesis 37 into the 40s i'm not going to read all of those but verses here and there so just track with me here we're going to start in genesis chapter 37 verse 3 which says now israel or jacob loved joseph more than any of his other sons because he had been born to him in his old age and he made an ornate robe for him those of us who grew up in children's church would call that the coat of many colors right when his brothers saw that their father loved him more than any of them they hated him and could not speak a kind word to him so they end up throwing him in a pit and they want to kill him but they decide i will just sell him instead verse 28 so when the midianite merchants came by his brothers pulled joseph up out of the cistern and sold him for 20 shekels of silver to the ishmaelites who took him to egypt now after he arrives in egypt he's sold to a man named potiphar's the captain of pharaoh's guard and in chapter 39 verse 4 it says joseph found favor in his eyes and became his attendant and potter preferred put him in charge of his household and he entrusted to his care everything that he owned and from the time he put him in charge of his household of all that he owned the lord blessed the household of the egyptian because of joseph the blessing of the lord was on everything potiphar had both in the house and the field you see right there a little snapshot god put favor on joseph so that he could bless potiphar man and potiphar ended up doing his boy dirty that's hood for so after this potiphar's wife tries to get joseph to sleep with her he won't she's angry she tells potiphar joseph tried to rape her joseph gets thrown in prison so he went from the pit to potiphar's house from potiphar's house to prison are you with me in prison he ends up meeting a couple of guys who work for pharaoh he ends up interpreting their dreams one of them gets out goes back to work for pharaoh and ends up overhearing pharaoh say that he has had a dream that is troubling him and he remembers joseph tells pharaoh about him joseph ends up interpreting pharaoh's dream and telling him hey there's about to be seven years of abundance and then seven years of famine in the land and in genesis 41 41 so joseph pharaoh said to joseph i hereby put you in charge of the whole land of egypt so he went from his father's place to the pit from the pit to potiphar's house from potiphar's house to prison and from prison to the palace are you with me i went to a baptist college they teach you alliteration class too all right right after terrible eschatology that was just for me all right genesis uh genesis chapter 41 verse 47 blossom lord during the seven years of abundance the land produced plentifully and joseph collected all the food produced in those seven years of abundance in egypt stored it in the cities in each city he put food grown in the fields surrounding it how many of you know that this is a kingdom strategy from the lord for the sake of what blessing all the nations of the earth because joseph ends up being in charge of egypt egypt is the only place that has food and the other nations come to eat all because god put favor on joseph in order to be a blessing to all the nations of the earth joseph stored up huge quantities of grain like the sand of the sea it was so much that he stopped keeping records because it was beyond measure the seven years of abundance in egypt came to an end and seven years of famine began as joseph had said there was famine in all the other lands but the whole land of egypt there was food chapter 42 verse 3 then ten of joseph's brothers went down to buy grain from egypt the very brothers who had thrown them in the pit genesis 45 verse 3 joseph said to his brothers i am joseph is my father living but his brothers were not able to answer him because they were terrified at his presence then joseph said to his brothers come close to me and when they had done so he said i am your brother joseph the one you sold into egypt and now do not be distressed do not be angry with yourselves for selling me here catch this church because it was to save lives that god sent me here ahead of you all right so now that we've glazed through the story there glazed i must have donuts on the brain grazed through the story there all right donut jokes have a delayed response but go over well i'll remember that i keep notes all the churches i speak at i'm like okay that's true actually i do do that all right so favor let's talk let's dig into this the bible is clear that joseph's story begins with favor it begins by saying joseph's father jacob whose name was changed to israel loved joseph more than any of the other brothers you see joseph was favored by his father but he was hated by his brothers and this teaches us something powerful about favors and it is this that everybody does not have to like you as long as the right one does everybody does not have to like you as long as the right one does you see the brothers hated joseph but the father favored joseph and the father favored joseph so much that in verse 3 his father made for joseph a coat of many colors in verse 3 he gives joseph an ornate robe in verse 4 when the brothers saw that their father loved joseph more than any of them they hated him and could not speak a kind word to him you see joseph's father's favor manifested tangibly in a coat so when favor became tangible the brothers became hostile verse 3 the father gives them the coat verse 4 the brothers see the favor on his life what did they see they saw a coat you see they could handle him being favored as long as he didn't wear it but when he started wearing favor when he started looking like he was favored when favor became evident in his life you see it's one thing for people to hear us talk about favor it's another thing for people to see favor manifest tangibly in our lives you see the manifestation of joseph's favor unearthed self-esteem issues in his brothers which teaches us powerfully that if we are going to ask for favor and believe me church you should because it's for you even though it's not about you and it's what god uses to put you where you need to be when you need to be there with who you need to be with in order to accomplish what it is that he has for you to do you also have to be prepared to handle feistiness alliteration again here we go and some people are saying lord give me favor and god is saying you just don't understand that that level of favor comes with feistiness when you get favor people get feisty why because there are certain people who can only handle your success at a certain level and you don't know they have self-esteem issues because they've always been in a place where they didn't feel threatened by you but now all of a sudden things start happening for you they get feisty and aggressive and you're like where did this come from it's always been there but now you are wearing a coat that you never had before but if you've got a problem with my coat you better take it up with god because if he's going to give it to me i'm going to wear it if he's going to open the door i'm going to walk through it if he's going to make the connection i'm going to shake the hand because it ain't my fault that i got favored bump your neighbor right now and say i ain't my fault that i got favor people are wondering why i'm blessed i'm wondering why i'm blessed people are wondering why i get opportunities i wonder why i get opportunities i went from the hood to the hill i wasn't prepared i didn't know this was going to happen but all i know is i got favor you see the brothers can't understand because joseph's younger than they were and he wasn't doing a dang thing they were out there laboring in the hot fields and he was in the air conditioning watching the big screen with dad [Music] but you see favor doesn't care who's got tenure favor knows who it's for and favor will jump over people to get to you because what god has for you is for you come on so when you experience favor you've got to be ready to deal with feisty people because favor evokes feistiness when you get favor you become a target it's like this platform you can't stand on this platform without the bullseye that comes with it you don't get the promotion without the bullseye so listen church what god will do is he will favor you to the extent that you can tolerate pain god will favor you to the extent that you can tolerate pain he says listen if you always have to be liked you're putting a cap on the amount of favor that i can give you if you can't handle being disliked for no reason then that's going to put a limit on the amount of favor that i know it's hard for y'all to believe because i'm so lovable but there are some people that really don't like me for no reason because i'm amazing all right but [Applause] listen when you walk in favor it will cause people to not like you for no reason and if you can't stomach that you are putting a cap on the amount of favor because god's not stingy he's willing to pour favor out why because he's look he's man you know why you get tested you get tested for the sake of promotion with an american mindset when you hear tests the first thing that you think is opportunity to fail well i've got a test coming up in the kingdom when you hear tests you should automatically think opportunity for promotion because god allows tests to come into your life because he's up there like hey jesus how much favor can we pour out on this son or daughter today how much promotion can we give them what sort of connection can we give them what can we give them how much can their character sustain he tests you not because he's suspicious and he's stingy he tests you because he's generous but he doesn't want to break you so if you're in a test right now it's because there's a blessing waiting so stay the course pass the test expecting a promotion at the end not because you earned a promotion from a stingy god but because you proved that your generous kind loving heavenly father can pour out all that goodness on you [Laughter] whoo that was point one i got five minutes left help me jesus goodness you've got to have the strength of personality the emotional fortitude to not allow the jealousy of the brothers to rob you of the joy of the coat because sometimes jealousy will make you wish you didn't even have the code if i knew the coat was going to end me in this position i wish i'd no god will favor you to the degree that you can tolerate pain joseph's story not only teaches us about feistiness it teaches us about forsaking forsaken goes both ways some people are going to forsake you and god is going to ask you to forsake some places some people some groups some circles and you've got to be ready for transition you've got to be ready to move you see the brothers got so upset they want to take joseph's life but they put him in a pit then they see merchants coming they say let's sell them to these people so they can take him to egypt they are forsaking him they're leaving them out to dry but listen that's what happens because favor will send you places that your current company cannot go if you're not willing to change circles it's going to limit the amount of favor that you can have because favor puts you in a different circle and god says listen i love them i just didn't invite them to this circle i invited you i didn't call them now you're trying to pull them into this circle and they don't have a grace to be in this circle and now they're messing everything up and you're upset they're saying things they shouldn't say they're doing things they shouldn't do and it's because i never intended for them to be here you brought them here not me and now they're messing it up for you [Laughter] man oh man if you were unwilling to change your circle if you were unwilling to forsake some relationships that's going to limit the amount of favor that you can have you see joseph's purpose is tied to egypt so what god had to do is god had to put joseph in a position to get him out of the land because otherwise he wasn't going to leave because he had it super good god allowed the brothers to kick him out because if the brothers hadn't kicked him out he would never have left you see uh let's see i guess it would be like 12 or 13 years ago now when i was a young man and uh i had landed you know i've always had always been in the music scene i did the rap and christian rock scene and i opened for tadashi and lecrae and grits thousand for crush all those guys and then i would lead worship and i landed this sweet uh worship leader gig at this church and they had an amazing sound system maybe not as nice as the myers i like those my friend but i had an amazing sound system amazing musicians and and i went and bought a house and i was out there mowing my lawn and i was like i'm gonna retire from this job and then i got fired like six months later through no fault of my own it was unjust let's be clear about that however how many of you know that if god had not moved me out of that comfortable place i would never have ministered to presidents covertly in the united nations so god had to move me out of my place of comfortability i even though i didn't wasn't aware that was favor allowing me to forsake a place to bring me into the new place whoo oh my goodness let's see here i'm going to shorten this last bit here so why is all this happening because it's favor at work in your life putting you where you need to be when you need to be there with who you need to be with in order to accomplish what it is that he wants you to do you have to be prepared to deal with feisty people you have to be willing to forsake some places and relationships and then thirdly you have to know that god is going to do something through favor that you might not expect and that is that favor will use failure in order to get you where you need to be when you need to be there with who you need to be with in order to accomplish what it is that he wants you to do and it will move so powerfully in this respect that it will use your fa your failures and the failures of the generations that came before you you see the brothers throw joseph in a pit and then they sell them to the midianites to the ishmaelites and the ishmaelites take him to egypt who took him to egypt the ishmaelites and the ishmaelites were abraham's the the production of abraham's failure through ishmael so the failure of his great great grandfather ends up being the very vehicle that transports the great great grandson where it is that he needs to go you see the enemy will use your past failures to torment you favor uses your past failures to transport you come on somebody because you can't lose in the kingdom because you already won come on we are moving from victory we are simply routing the illegal squatting system of the system of darkness from places that are already owned by king jesus come on we're moving from victory favor will use failure to transport you where you need to be when you need to be there with who you need to be with in order to accomplish what it is that he wants you to do i'll end here with genesis chapter 41 verse 51 joseph named his firstborn manasseh and said it is because god has made me forget all my trouble and all my father's household the second son he named ephraim and said it is because god has made me fruitful in the land of my suffering so if you are willing ready and able to embrace a new level and upgrade a favor in your life today first weigh the consequences knowing that some feistiness is going to come with that undeserved feistiness there may be some moments of forsaking current circles to move where god wants to position you and you can embrace the truth that god will use the past failures of yourself and the generations that came before you to transport you into that place and you can count on ending up forgetting the troubles because of the current joy and being fruitful even in the land of your suffering so if that's you today and you want to receive and upgrade in favor stand to your feet all right so just repeat this after me father i powerfully and intentionally reach out to receive the upgrade of favor that is available this morning and i say i receive supernatural favor in my life and i expect it to put me where i need to be when i need to be there with who i need to be with in order to advance the kingdom in jesus name and all god's people said amen
