stiff-necked people [Music] if i were to go with you even for a moment i might destroy you now take off your ornament and i will decide what to do with you the first two scriptures in that bible in that chapter tells us how god told moses and the israelites to live where they were and to go to the promised land but um of course they had provoked him and he said he wasn't going to go with them so uh and what they did was they had to repent the bible says they mourn so that's a form of repentance so i want us to pray before we invite the presence of god because i don't think we can do anything without him so i want us to pray that in the name of father we repent of anything that may have taken us from your presence in any way of any sin that may have taken us from your presence we repent from me today and we ask for the grace to give exclusive attention to you and your service so that's what we're going to be doing today what right now we'll be repenting we'll be asking god to forgive us to have mercy upon us to forgive us in any way in any way we have seen in any way in any from anything that would have taken us from his presence let's begin to pray right now let's ask that the lord would have mercy upon us the lord would have mercy upon us the lord would have mercy upon us that today we come with our heart we are no longer going to hide with god to search our hearts he should set us and review the things that we need to do the things that we need to change that would make us stay in his presence in the name of jesus begin to open your mouth and repent begin to open that may have taken us from his prayer away from his presence in any way we may have seen in any way we may have done in any actions even our job sometimes could be an endurance could naturally deprive us of from having time with him so let's begin to ask god let's repent and say father in october i will serve you in the name of jesus i'll give you undivided attention in the name of jesus i'll be consistent in my service to you in the mighty name of jesus repent right now let's begin just open our mouths open your mouth and say lord forgive me have mercy upon me have mercy lord have mercy lord have mercy lord have mercy father father lord we come today we come to your throne of mercy and we ask our lord that you forgive us we repent of any sin that we are taking us away from your presence father we come today and we ask that you forgive us father we give you all the glory blessed be thy name for in jesus name we have bread before i go to the second prayer point i want us to quickly open our bible to foster seven nine to ten then samuel took a suckling lamp and sacrificed it as a all-bound offering to the lord he cried out to the lord on israel's behalf and the lord answered him 10 while salma was sacrificing the bond afraid the philistines drew near to engage israel in battle but that day the lord turned dead with loud thunder against the philistines and threw them into such a panic that they were routed before the israelites this tells us how god came to god was actually with them after they repented of their sins after you know um samuel prayed to god i want us to quickly also look at exodus 33 14 and 15. exodus 3 14 and 15. exodus 33 [Music] it says my the lord replied my presence will go with you and i will give you rest please can i have 15 then moses said to him if your presence does not go with us do not send us up from here so we're still praying for the presence of god we're going to be saying father let your presence be made manifest in our lives in this month moses knew that they couldn't go without him that's why he said if your presence does not go with us do not send us up from here so let's begin to pray that his presence will be made manifest in our lives in this month in every aspect of our lives that the lord will invade our spirit the lord we invade our our space in the mighty name of jesus that we will not go with if god is not going there is no point going if god is not going to be there with you so let's begin to pray invite his presence into your life invite his presence into into everything that you do into your career into every aspect of your life invite his presence invite his presence it was it was when he appeared when he showed up that was when the israelites were able to defend defeat the philistine god came through his presence came down but let's begin to pray that his presence will go with us in this month lord jesus you will go with us in the mighty name of jesus you would every everything that we do in our decisions whatever thing that we're doing that indeed your presence shall be there with us you will envy love us in your presence oh lord in the name of jesus in this month lord jesus we will not go without you we will not do anything without you we'll carry your presence everywhere we go to in the mighty name of jesus we'll carry our presence everywhere we go to in the mighty name of jesus the lord will be with us when we sleep when we eat when we and in anything that we do if we invade our spirit if we invade our space in the mighty name of jesus father lord we pray that in the name of jesus your presence we've been manifest in the life of every worshipper your prayers remain manifest as our new covenant assembly in the mighty name as a church in the name of jesus father we invite your presence in the mighty name of jesus into our lives into our career into our family we invite you lord jesus we invite you lord jesus we invite you lord jesus we invite you lord father come and be the the head of in everything that we do father we pray that you be present in everything that we do in the name of jesus that of a true people who see us and not see your have prayed please let's open our bible to exodus 33 verse 16. [Music] it says how will anyone know that you are pleased with me and with your people unless you go with us what else would distinguish me and your people from all the other people on the face of the earth so the presence of god brings will make people would distinguish you from others when you have the presence of god upon your life of course you'll be different from everybody it's a good example is david after someone anointed david the bible says that the power of god came powerfully upon him and even after um saul of course the spirit of god departed from saul and that evil spirit came upon him he asked the servant to get someone that could play the liar and the servant said i know of a son of jesse i've seen him before he said he he described him he said he's uh he's very eloquent he's he's brilliant he's a warrior and all of that but apart from all of that he said the presence of god the spirit of god is upon him they knew that the spirit of god was upon david so we're going to be praying today that we receive the spirit of god that in the name of jesus that in the your presence will distinguish us in for favor in this month in the mighty name of jesus let's begin to say father let your presence distributions for favor in this month in the mighty name of jesus let your presence disgrace us for favor in this month in the mighty name of jesus father lord we pray let us be is not with us because he knows that the only thing that can distinguish them from others is the presence of god so let's begin to ask that his presence will come upon us today it would distinguish us distinguish you because he carries something that is different from what others carry you carry the presence of god so open your mouth and begin to say that the presence of god would distinguish me presence will distinguish me from if you know you want to be distinguished in this month of october begin to open your mouth and decree that in the name of jesus because you carry the presence of god you'll be distinguished in the mighty name of jesus regardless of the numbers of people regardless of how talented they might be the lord will be up the presence of god is upon you therefore you carry something that is beyond whatever order that carry in the mighty name of jesus the presence of god would distinguish you in the mighty name of jesus the presence of god will distinguish you in the we read this before but i'm going to be using different i'm going to be picking different prayer points from this particular scripture so it says that um the lord sounded with loud thunder we're going to be saying that father let your presence destroy the camp of our enemies and protect us from evil every evil in this month because the bible says that but the lord turned that will out on that against the philistines and chilled them into such a panic that they were routed before the israelites so let's begin to pray that in the name of jesus that the lord will destroy the camp of our enemies and protect us from every evil every evil that lies ahead in this month of october in the mighty name of jesus the lord is going to destroy them in the mighty name of jesus the bible says god son that in the name of jesus we decree lord jesus that on our behalf in this month that the lord will come down in his power and destroy the camps of our enemies in the mighty name of jesus he will send confusion into their midst he will send panic into their midst in the mighty name of jesus he will send panicky to their midst he will send confusion into their midst in the mighty name of jesus the lord will protect us just like he defended the israelites he protected them he came through for them let's pray that in this month in the name of jesus the lord will destroy the camp of our enemies in the mighty name of jesus and you protect us from evil you protest us from everything that every evil that lies ahead of us in the mighty name of jesus christ [Music] in the mighty name of the nick of time because the bible says that um while someone was sacrificing the bottle free the philistines drew near to engage israel so they were coming near to them but right at the nick of it god showed up we're going to be praying now that let your presence bring about supernatural help in the mighty name of jesus i don't know about you but as a supernatural help when you're seeing something and you feel like oh i don't have anything god shows up that is supernatural help let's begin to pray that in the name of jesus let your presence bring about supernatural help and restoration in this month in the mighty name of jesus let your presence be supernatural in the elves and restoration in this month in the mighty name of jesus let he bring supernatural help in the will bring about supernatural help just like he came through at the nick of time you came through for the israelites father lord we pray that you will come through for us let us express upon that your that the towns from acron to gas that the the philistines that captured from israel were restored to israel and israel delivered the neighboring territory from the end of the philistines and there was peace between israel and amorites another verse another chapter sorry another um version thank you says that they re there was restoration that the cities they had lost were restored back to them so we're praying for restoration because the presence of god doesn't just help it also brings about restoration in 11 it says that that they face them sorry can you go back to 11 please it says that the men of israel pushed out of bisbar and pursue the philistines slaughtering them along the way to a point below so they faced them instead they were afraid these are the same people that were afraid but after they experienced the presence of god they became so bold so there was restoration of that thing they had lost because bible says they're not giving a spirit of fear they were restored back to that place where they became so bold to fight right they could face philistines so two things happened apart from getting restoration for cities they also got they were restored back to that place that they became very bold because they were scared so we're going to be praying that in the name of jesus in this month we would get restoration we'll be restored in anything that we have lost to the devil in anything that we've lost that we think the devil has warned that there shall be restoration in the mighty name of jesus oh lord that shall be called restoration in the mighty name of jesus there shall be restoration who have no fear anymore we face those challenges because we know that the lord is restoring us because the presence of god is upon us therefore we are not afraid in the name of jesus we are not afraid in the mighty name of jesus we are not afraid of in the mighty name of jesus we pray for restoration in the mighty name of jesus we pray for restoration in the mighty name of jesus christ just like the israelites became confident they they they were able to overcome that fear their their mind that everything was restored apart from restore get restoration from the cities father love we pray there shall be restoration there shall be restoration restoration of mind restoration of properties in the mighty name of jesus father we pray for restoration we begin to face our challenges and we overcome them because we know that the presence of god is with us in the mighty name of jesus father we give you all the glory blessed be thy name lord jesus for in jesus will do wonders never before done in any nation in all the world the people you live among will see how awesome is that is the work that i the lord would do with you so we're praying for miracles because bible says nothing nothing that the word us have seen is going to do great and mighty things in our midst so in this month of october let's begin to decree that we need to pray the father in the mighty name of jesus oh lord let us have unprecedented encounters with the miracles of god in the mighty name of jesus who would have unprecedented that encounters with the miracles of god with the creative miracles of god just like he promised the israelites father lord we pray that i would have encounters with you in the mighty name of jesus who would have encounters with you i what eyes have not seen what ears i've not heard what has never come into the heart of man father lord we pray that you would do for us in the mighty name of jesus you will make you make us the most preferred session we're going to be praying about dealing with a strong man and our anchor scripture for this um session of the prayers will be first samuel 17 and we know the story of um david and goliath but i will not be reading the whole scripture so i'm just going to be picking out um scriptures and verses from the scripture so that we'll take our prayer points and um before we start praying i'm just going to um i just want us to um have a few things at the back of our mind while we're praying we know that tonight we're dealing with the strong man and we have come to do battle we have not come to play with the strong man because the strong man has not come to play with us and um first of all i ask who is the strong man who does the bible say the strong man is um in uh first samuel 17 chapter 4 um verse 4 to 7 the bible says then um first samuel 17 verse 4 he says a champion named goliath who was from gath came out of the philistine camp his height was six cubits and a span five please he had a bronze helmet on his head and wore a coat of scale armor of bronze weighing 5000 shekels on his legs he wore bronze greaves and lebron's javelin was long on his back his spare was his spare shaft was like a weaver's rod and his iron weighed 600 shackles his shield there i went ahead of him so we see the strong man in this verse was goliath but the bible tells us in ephesians 6 12. [Music] when we are saying the strong man when we're talking about the strong man ephesians 6 verse 12 says that we do not wrestle against flesh and blood but against principalities against powers
