upon in january and he has kept us on to the fifth month he is faithful his mercy is forever he keeps oh lord we worship you open your mind and thank the lord thank him for his greatness for his mercies for protection for safety for security for healing for healing for healing there's so much sickness in the land but he is the god that heals labor thank you father thank you for who you are thank you for your mercy your grace your sustenance thank you for the church of the lord jesus for the word thank you for all the things you've taught us over these past weeks oh lord we are grateful this morning we just give you praise we give you praise we give you glory rejoice for bringing us into a new month lord it's not because we are faithful it's not because we work hard and we deserve it but it is by your grace and by your mercy it is by your grace and your great mercy and so we are grateful this morning thank you for me thank you for me thank you for me thank you for me thank you for me thank you for what you've done and for what you have in store for us in this month we rejoice oh god thank you for service today we rejoice so god we give you praise and glory in the mighty name of jesus let's begin to play the blood of jesus christ this morning the blood of jesus christ the blood supports to purify us let's play the blood of jesus let's ask that the blood bless us that the blood will wash us will make us pure will make us holy we play the blood of jesus of our hearts a lot of things we've done the things we've not done lord god the things we've thought about lord our words our actions we plead the blood let the blood purge us of god even as we come in repentance before you please the blood this morning as that the blood will sanctify us that the blood will protect second testimony i'm going to read is from daniva denver elliot and she's go and he goes like this to the glory of god i want to share how god turned rejection into acceptance in my life today in february i was offered a job with the federal government when i got to the last stage i was told they could not progress with hiring me as i had not completed my training in canada i am not currently living in calgary but in watching the testimonies from the last justice lord service i tapped into the testimony that said she felt offended being rejected and prayed as i felt cheated to get to the last stage and being denied then i further tapped into the world spoken by reverend eric's as a mecca on sunday may 11 2020 2021 at the bootcamp employment laws will change in your favor amen that's a quote from pastor eric then pastor cola father confirmed that this confirmed this at the raw prayers today wednesday april 14 that's when she sent it 20 21 saying we will get a testimony or some communication that will cause us to say hallelujah to the glory of god i got mine the job that they stopped the hiring process for in february the manager called me and she was unable to get me she then sent me a text asking that i called her when i called she apologized and asked if i was still interested in the job as they thought i was processed i was processed since since february and they had had a company phone and computer for me and my it account was already set up she explained the competition package and asked if i was okay with that in summary the conversation ended with me being offered the job and me choosing my start date thanks be to god where i was rejected i have been accepted and the laws of denials were broken through intercession god is truly in the midst of nca god family friends and i haven't stopped coming since then so my first meeting with the pastor i had some issues and then i also talked about my sibling my older brother and you know we prayed the pastor said i should write down his name on a piece of paper and put you know his name prayer for souls here and i did i've been praying for so long for him because we're so close in age and you know for his salvation actually and he's been through so much um during the jis for this year i had written down my first prayer point in fact what i wrote in my book which i put in my seat is expectations for gis and number one was salvation for my older brother and so the week after gils i got a call i mean i got a message from him and i called my brother was entertaining suicidal thoughts in fact the person that was speaking to him wasn't him he was just yelling and shouting and then the holy spirit directed me to reach out to one of the pastors in the church and i did and then she started engaging me cut the long story short we sent i told them to pray for my brother and then they sent a prayer alert to the prayer team and everything that happened after then was like like a movie the next day my brother was he was asking me i'm sorry he was asking me for devotionals he's never been someone to use things like that the same wiki was asking me how do people fast you know and i was like is this real you know and then i started reaching out to the pastor that i was talking to and she was like just calm down leave god to do his work i stand here to testify today that god is in this church god is in this church we have prayed so long and hard for my brother and this is someone that now he's fasting every week i'm like god is this you i i don't know what to say but i can just say thank you god i want to thank the pastorate of this church i want to thank them for being so responsive i want to thank the prayer team as well because they've been so responsive and i just want to reiterate the fact that god is in this church and i thank you for the family that invited me to this church praise the lord hallelujah praise the lord the bible says if you believe in the lord we and our household will be saved salvation has come indeed praise the lord mr stephanie here ib can you come forward and give your testimony after that biod i think i saw him [Music] okay good morning church um i'm here to testify of god's power in my life um i'll just read a quick song here i prayed to the lord and he answered me he freed me from my fears those who look to him for help will be radiant with joy and no shadow of shame would darken their faces so um during this boot camp actually during the third session with pastor james sturdivant i needed to go for an eye review and that was on the 17th of 17th of april the doctor told me that i had unusually high pressure in my eye and i was on the risk of glaucoma so for those who don't know what glaucoma is it's a it's an eye condition that causes damage to your optic nerve and then leads to blindness when he told me this you know he said you know don't panic we just run a few more tests yeah yeah yeah i like that me in my head i was like it was i i was just at ease peace just came over me i was so surprised but my mind i just my mind was just settled that i will see the manifestation of jehovah rapha as that was what pastor james talked about so i scheduled the exam for wednesday um unconsciously after the raw prayers maybe maybe i've been going for too many um thank god for that um yes for on that particular one which is on the 21st the wednesday pastor spent so much time talking about and praying about the manifestation of jehovah rafael ahila and i latched onto it with everything that was in me after the raw prayers i went from my exam giving god the battle singing songs of praise you know i had my earphones on or just boom into it and i just in line with what pastor james taught the exam went well and when the doctor saw my results he said that there is no glaucoma i do not have glaucoma so um i want to thank god for doing this for me and also thank god for giving pastor the wisdom to bring these generals for the boot camp session i've been really blessed you know i've attended all of them and it's really taught me a lot helped me grow spiritually and i encourage everyone to stay connected as i know that god will do great and mighty things through these conferences thank you stay blessed hallelujah the lord will continue to cause us to testify in the name of jesus continue to connect god is really here and he's ministering to us so let's make sure we keep connecting hallelujah rabbi can you give your testimony praise the i want to thank god for the miracle of a new job earlier this year i got tired of was happening in my former organization and at that point i decided that i wanted a change so i started applying to a lot of organizations to the glory of god i started getting calls for interviews and this interviews went very well and because it went very well i was hoping that at least i'll get an offer from at least one of these organizations so on the contrary i realized that they were not getting back to me so when i reach out to them they will tell me that they are choosing another candidate for the job this one that one at this point i was getting discouraged and in the midst of that another organization reached out to me they said that they they saw my resume they wanted to interview me i went for the interview i went for the first stage the second stage it all went well and i was so enthusiastic about this one as well but they were not getting back to me either so i decided to pray over the matter and the while praying the impression i had in my spirit was to get the audio recording of of pastor's blessing if you can remember the blessed pastor pronounced the sunday after jesus lord service so i the instruction i got was to play that audio recording to myself over and over again so what i did was to play to myself on my way to work every morning and while playing it i'll make declaration on those opportunities on the account of those blessings so after doing this for like five days one of those organizations got back to me they gave me an offer we discussed how much they were going to be paying me and the following day they sent my offer letter praise the lord hallelujah praise the lord i thank our brother you know he gave us instructions of what he did and we need to learn how to prepare and get connect with god you see our brother he told us exactly what he did and this is where the testimonies come from i believe that the testimony of jesus spirit of prophecy that for anybody believing god for work begin believing god for a new thing the lord will do it for you in jesus name listen to the word of god and god will encourage you in jesus name suffer me can you give your testimony praise the lord my name is sarah to taiwa i want to thank god for his mercy for his uh i don't even know where to start god has been faithful to me and my family i started a school here where we came newly i didn't have intention of going to school but my mother was like no you have to and one of my friends which i did but when i started the school i told god people have been saying this course is difficult it's actually lpn people said it's difficult i said when people are saying it's difficult it shall be easy for me and to god be the glory it was like that god used me to make others to pass because i form a group i teach people people are like oh why don't you be an electoral audience to be at this i said well i know nothing but to god be the glory i finished the school i registered for my license exam within two three weeks i started reading i form another group to god be the glory all the people in the group i formed we all passed aside from that i was like okay i want to start job blind said i said my last name should start from january this year my friends started from last year i said no i'm going to wait january this year i got two calls from different places i did two interviews in the same day the first interview i did with footage hospital it was a kind of conversation my my manager said in fact i just wanna i like you i want you to be my team have you been a nurse before i said no he said don't worry i just wanted to be my team as if that is not enough on my first orientation they said i'm gonna give you a line do you want i said yes three of us were employed on the same day but she gave me a full time line as if that is not enough the second place too i got a line i have to tell them that no i'm going to be a casual yeah call me when you need me so to god be the glory to god be the glory god has been faithful in every ramification that's why it's good to say a good thing let's be saying positive thing i said to myself because i was doing the lp people were like no job in lpn why do you want to do this i said well when me i'm done job will wait for me and exactly that was what happened to god hallelujah praise the lord wants to confirm the words there's power in the tongue hallelujah i'm going to call on brother theo to come forward monthly and give his testimony oh sorry hang on pastor tyler please come forward but i see your piece can you just come and sit right here right in front here praise the lord church i know um it's strange that some people are seeing me standing here but the issue is not about who is standing what about the god that can do things um back in march 2020 i was working as usual at home and all of a sudden the big news came that my company has been sold and then all of us have to go but they kept me in the system till august and i was working from home so after august what i did was i set up a working station at home i will resume there every morning and i'm always you know walking and applying even so many people that came to my house at that time nobody knew i lost my job but i was there every morning but one other thing i always do is i look at the time that i would normally take to go to the office one hour from edge to calgary i will use that one hour to play worship songs every morning i will be doing that and i'm dancing and praising god and then at some point i said to put the devil to shame my wife and myself agree that we are buying a new car there is no job but we went ahead and bought a new car i said god we are depending on you for this or you will pay it and then all of a sudden december the amount of fulfillment you know my wife kept telling me since we came to canada you have been walking you have not really rested god just want you to rest so take this time to rest but in my rest i make sure i resume at that workstation i set for myself every day to tell myself that i'm resting for work must come so december the amount of fulfillment i held on to that word and i keep trusting god but one of the topic of that moment was it shall end in praise i don't know how many of you remember the week after it shall end in praise as i was coming down from upstairs to resume as usual at my work station then i had a voice tell me that it is time for you to go back to work and that morning during the royal prayer pastor also confirmed it that there is somebody here that you are starting a job sooner than you can imagine i held on to it and lo and behold one of my boss just called me and said hey can you send your resume to me i sent it to her the next day i was called for an interview and the interview was just for 10 minutes and lo and behold they offered me a job by december 23rd the woman will say i can't wait that this should be a christmas gift and indeed it ended in praise hallelujah anybody believing god for a new job for a new position i need you to connect god is doing a new thing he will open doors he will set you up just keep keep on going the lord is going to do it for you as he has done it for passenger will he will do it for you in jesus name the testimony of jesus is the spirit of prophecy receive your jobs in jesus name but i theo can you come and give your testimony praise the lord god is doing marvelous things in this church i was struggling for diabetes for 15 years i was struggling for diabetes for 15 years and um i went to the test time to time the doctor would send me to go and do the test and see how i'm doing so during the fasting i had a dream that there's a lot of people coming to the church and the new members was being asked to give their church to the new new members and there's a rain in the church i said myself no i'm not giving my seat to nobody so before the hallelujah service thursday i was trying to register my wife to enable me to come and see the pastor after the service so i have them my laptop my desktop nano clock shop is gone no spot so i wasn't happy so i sent the ebay to the church office but who pastor called me he said to you how are you the voice calm voice and then he said how your wife doing i said okay he said are you saying i said yes pastor said yes a lot of people were facing discipline and i had another voice beside pastor another voice through him after he spoke to me i went to deep sleep and when i wake up fed i'm here and during the hallelujah service pastor mentioned the person should go back and do the test by who i went and do the test and i was healed my number came 5.2 the doctor could not believe it because before the test it was giving me our i wonder you know when you have diabetes it keeps going up for so long it's not getting better so it's giving you more medication but he said because your test was so good i should know he's not going to give him to if i have i should not take it i should go back and do the test i went back again the same result is good he said don't take no medication and he signed a paper this is the paper since then it's gone hallelujah rise up church can you heal diabetes let us give glory to god our god is a healer he is a deliverer he heals completely and we tap into healing completely the lord is a healer hallelujah the lord is our healer praise god i have more during monday after a little service i went to the bank first calgary bank we have a mortgage we have one house in ontario one house in calgary anytime i go to get the land of credit they refuse me they say oh your debt ratio is too high but after all monday i went to do transaction i saw the tale i saw i was promoted so he said i said okay then i saw they are giving mortgage 1.99 i said okay because i signed we signed our mortgage 2019 2.99 then he said okay i have to book appointment to come and see her so i the same day she booked appointment i went and she said before she can do the application i have to break the agreement and pay a penalty of 2 600. i said no problem and i did and she sent the phone application to the head office and they approved and when they came i get the mortgage from 1.99 for nine zero for five years and something also happened the land of credits i was looking for she approved for 60 000. [Applause] and the royal bank also called me because when we were leaving toronto before they said oh you have equity in the house we're going to give you another land of credit for 40 000. and they approve it and i was not as what god is doing in this church you never know testimony testimony and something also before i finish my testimony life group has helped me and a life group has helped me i don't know how to pray because i went to methodist but life group he teach you how to pray and sister barry i was driving last year my our house was damaged my car was damaged she was driving i was walking she stopped the vehicle she said to her how are you say fine everything's okay i said fine she comfort me because you know you're everything i can't move my wife just drive his car it's going to work and life group is a savior it's like a family pastor id when he saw me he talked he stopped he talked to me the husband when that time i come she shake my hand it's like a family please join the live group you never know one of your members is a bunker he's a manager you need job he's there to help you yes hallelujah please join hallelujah i thank god and the god this church has blessed hallelujah let's pray that god to perfect all the testimonies we've heard in jesus name amen god bless you you may be seated so praise the lord this morning the pastor graciously um told us to talk to the church about the kovic vaccination so we're going to start the very first thing we want to say probably vaccination is all about protection and prevention of disease so for us to understand we have to know what happens there's a system in our body called the immunity system which helps us and protects us against various diseases and god has given us natural barriers first in the book of proverbs chapter 2 verse 9 the bible says the lord gives wisdom and out of his mouth common knowledge and understanding so i want us to know that whatever wisdom is being operated is because the lord has given so this vaccination is from the lord because it's the one that opens the heart of men to know what to do about situations so god himself has given unnatural immunity and the way it goes is that it's a form of protection so we have what we call active and inactive protection when you are exposed to a disease what happens is that the body itself naturally starts releasing some cells the very first cell that releases what's called a macrophage so engulfs is like it surrounds the virus or the bacteria or whatever comes into our body and in the process of surrounding the the germ it breaks down the germ sorry can we please put on my first picture yeah so it breaks down the germ and from that gem that it breaks down a part of the gem becomes what we call an antigen which stimulates our body to pro to to to start trying to kill the germ itself and protect our body so in that process of um the antigen is the one that is on our cells that stimulates what we call special proteins called antibodies and those antibodies they fight for us so we have different antibodies well dt or cardiothelium for sibily for cyplasma cells there are a lot of them but of importance is what we call the memory cell till lymphocyte memory cells so once you are exposed to a particular germ and your body start that immune process it forms what cauditine lymphocytes and the telophase memory cell so that memory cell starts in the body and then the next time you come in contact with that particular gem the memory cells they start building up more antibodies to fight the disease so it's like you recognize your enemy you know how it looks then you you know you fight with all your might but that process that natural process of doing that could take weeks to months okay so when you get in contact with a disease for your body to produce all those antibodies to fight it takes a longer time and that's why people come in with the disease they fall sick because we don't have enough time to produce all we need to be able to prevent the disease so what god has helped the scientists to do is to know that if you introduce a little bit of the disease or a little bit of a particle of the disease to a person then you can introduce a very small part of the disease or a very small part of what you call the antigen to the body and then the body goes through the same reaction okay and producing all these antibodies and the memory cells and stores it so that in case you not come in contact with that particular disease again then it's quicker because now he realizes oh i've seen this before so i know what to do that is the old explanation about vaccination okay it does not change your dna it just helps you praise the lord okay it does help your body to stimulate the special proteins called antibody can you do my next slide pray so now the curvy vaccination is the same thing people say oh it's been rushed oh he just started no in 2003 2004 there was this size outbreak is the same kind of virus okay it's the same base kind of viral so scientists have continued to like try to develop like um the vaccination against this cells virus which is the same like corona but so coronav or covinition it says cov2 okay so it's the same base cells they've started developing since the year 2003 2004 so this is not a new thing so people are saying oh there was the vaccine and all those things no it's not i want us to know that so what they now did was that instead of introducing soft covey when it gets to our body and the macrophage which is the blue one breaks it down the antigen on top of it is called the spike antigen or s antigen that's what happens and that's what our body reacts against so we have two types of vaccine now we have the work called the mrna or messenger rna vaccine and the adenovirus which is a type of virus that covered it as a virus vector vaccine so that is mrna and there's a table on my slide if you go to that so the mrna vaccine by the fisa and the madonna vaccine while the adenovirus one at the astrazeneca and the jensen or johnson and johnson vaccine so they work in different way the mrna what it does is that it stimulates our body to produce that s antigen okay so it's not really from the covet vaccine it's from our body our our body itself is trying to produce an antigen and to stimulate us to have the same reaction and start forming antibodies against the s antigen because if we get coronavirus or if we get in touch with that virus that's the same antigen that the body produces from the virus so that's what the mrna does so that's that misconception of you changing your genetics changing your it does not change anything then adenovirus vector vaccine is a little bit a killed form of the disease that also does the same response okay but it's not bad enough for you to develop a full-blown disease so like i said if someone come in contact with this you can develop your own natural antibodies but the problem is that the antibody that would prevent us from being sick we can't we don't have enough time to do that in that period because if you come in contact with someone with coronary virus usually within three to five days you start exhibiting the symptoms it takes longer that for us to produce enough antibody to prevent disease especially for people that have what we call immunosuppression from sicknesses or from the kind of medication they say so that's why it's important for us to get the vaccination so from that table you can see we have two um two forms of two types the mrna and adenovirus most of it except for the johnson or johnson and johnson are two doses and you should usually get sick within one month or six weeks of each other it takes that long so for the pfizer is um it's recommended for anybody 16 and above and also the other ones 18 and above they are all safe they are given by injection in your upper arm usually is saving pregnancy safe with breastfeeding and then we can talk about how effective they has oh first one after the second dose which is the fisa is about 86 sorry 95 percent effective i will explain more about that so after the second dose um the second of the madonna is about eighty-six percent effective and astrazeneca is like sixty percent and the jensen is thought to be like 27 percent so now people now say so why would i get australian car why would i get jensen when i can wait for pfizer the issue is that ec offers the protection okay so we can't produce enough just like we know the pandemic is a lot so there are more people that needs this vaccination so whether some percent is still better than zero yeah so that's why it's important for us to get it that's why whatever is offered we get it yeah now we can talk about adversity people are very scared oh he does this it does that like i said what happens is that the body produces antibodies in the process of producing that antibody you're going to have symptoms because it's like you really have the disease but you don't have it so sometimes you could have minor symptoms like runny nose um um runny nose um some light fever tiredness joints pain that can come but usually they are short-lived and they don't last long and um very rarely some people can have bad reaction to it or what we call anaphylaxis that means that they they fall sick a lot so their might can be slowly they can have difficulty in breathing those are very rare but the good thing is that wherever you get your shot from you are told to wait therefore as many of us have got into church we are told to wait there for like 15 minutes you are watched to make sure because if you are going to have those kind of reaction they usually are caught within that period yeah and if that happens there are medications that can be used to treat that and there is a very rare um plane that we find with the adenovirus vector vaccination which is the blood clot i know unfortunately with anything in life there's always a side effect you sitting on that chair is by faith because you could have broken and you would have fallen down but you should start there anyway so it's very important for us to know that planes have side effects but most of the time they are very rare and there are ways in which we can treat it and just like somebody in this church told me god said will we eat anything that you and you shall not harm us so we can stand on that scripture and just go get the shots so um then um next is it is it why do we still need to wear masks after we've gotten the shot so one it's not hundred percent effective even the best is 95 percent so they still the five percent chance that you can still get the disease even if you have your doses so that's why it's so important for us to keep all the health protocols and there's an interval between when you get your second dose and when you are fully even get to that 95 percent which takes about 21 days for pfizer and 28 days for the other ones so within that period if you come in contact with somebody with covenant you can still get the disease because your body has not developed enough antibodies to be able to protect you and the other thing is of course now we know that there are different variants yeah they are still being watched to see it's looking like it protects against variant but we can't be hundred percent sure so it's very important for us to seek the health protocol and then the other thing is that because of the transmission there's something called the urge immunity or the population immunity or protection indirect protection that means that if 70 of us here are protected then the chances of somebody the 30 percent to get the disease is slim because we don't have it yeah so we're not transmitting it but it takes we have to get to that point of at least 70 to 80 percent of the population either getting the disease or getting vaccinated for us to get to that point in some diseases like measles 95 percent has to be vaccinated or have gotten the disease so that's why it's important for us to know and that is why we still have to keep all our health protocol now the next question is are these vaccines safe yes they are there's a small chance of adverse reaction but they are on the overall safe now will i get the vaccination yes i have gotten the vaccination did i have side effects i had like cold sore but i'm okay so it's extremely important just like i said it's because our body is trying to produce those antibodies and and the last slide you can see it this is um as such yesterday from the u.s we know the story about the u.s last year end of last year what was happening we could see between october last year and february this year when there was no vaccination you could see the new cases the new count in the u.s but once something happened that we all know that we don't need to talk about we could see the vaccination picked up and you could see that drop in the new cases so does vaccination work it definitely works and it's from god so i will just give it to sister evening to talk to us about how we can get that in canada thank you [Applause] praise the lord praise god yes the vaccine definitely works amen so i'm just i just have a few minutes i'm going to talk about um where to get the vaccine and how okay can we get the first light please thank you so um there are a lot of participating pharmacies in alberta that um offer offers the vaccine so um and basically they would offer the vaccine based on on your eligibility so i'm sure that we all know that right now we are in the 40s so um if when you get there when you get that chance please please please call any of these pharmacies and i'll walk you through them our better health services also gives the vaccine you can contact them through health link so um 811 and they will be able to give you the vaccine when you are eligible next like please [Music] so vaccine type how do i know i know a lot of people like dr fayette were saying regardless any of the vaccines are good it works however there are with the participating pharmacies there is an interactive map that you can actually put your postal code and then you can choose which um pharmacy you want to use the there's tons of them um the link to the map is over there but if you want it you can always talk to me and i will give you uh the direct link so what they do is that praise god so basically what this um map does is that it tells you what they're offering specifically um like whether which type of vaccines they offer so whether it's extra zenica whether it's moderna whether it's pfizer it will tell you what they offer the good thing about it is that it also tells you the services they provide so whether you can do walk-ins whether you can do it via appointment only or whether you can they do both so all of it is on this interactive map i love it because it's color-coded for for the specific um vaccine they offer it's color-coded so you can see what it's a modern pfizer or um uh astrazeneca let's go to the next slide please dr you talked about um the efficacy and i just want to show you real time in alberta she showed um the um the u.s one this is here alberta so you can see there's a projection from um april first last year one the when this this whole thing peaked when they um covered um 19 peaked so now april 1st okay 2021. so as you can see the seniors 80 plus were our seniors they were being hit big time if you look between uh october 1st to january they were really on top that's the um back they were really on top they were like if you look at that bell they were really on top they had spagged but look at between um january to april when they were offered the vaccine as we know the seniors went first look at how low they are so they are the ones at the bottom right now and for the 20 to 29 example that have not really we're not because right now we are in the 40s for for 20 to 29 and younger that have not really received it or have not yet had the opportunity look at how high they are right now as of april april 1st you can see they are on top so this to tell you that the vaccine definitely works it definitely works let's go to the next slide please so nca we have put so many things in place so that you'll be safe don't worry we are always we've been ahead of the game and i'm just happy about this so as you know we offer online services creative media our team they've been amazing they've made our services great um and we also know that we adhere to we're doing this because we're adhering to the public and our better health services and the government restrictions in-person service those that are here in-house you know how it works you register online it's required you get a qr code for attendance um and then when you get here you go through the check-in process let's go to the next slide and i must say that this process has has been a success it's worked great okay so what are the protocols we have in place number one we have masking as you all know i'm sure everybody in this building right now has mask on and this is in in accordance with um the governmental regulations i also have to say that the government gave us 12 000 masks so we would never run out so even if you don't have it you come we will give you masks amen next thing is hand sanitizer you know we have it on all the stations we have lots of it we have a lot of supplies again that's something we will never run out so we encourage hand sanitizing constantly no clock and i would i it was interesting i had to put this there because no clock hanging i'm sure that we've had a lot of people they want to hang their clock and we keep saying that no you cannot hang it why because we do not want you to be mixing yours with others we don't want you to say you came to the premises and anything happen god forbid the next thing is the checking process you know we are quite robust with our checking process when you come in we check your temperature so on and so forth okay we have dedicated entrances we have one dedicated entrance and um exit you come in through one side and then you go out through two sides amen physical distance and as you can see we do have stickers all over that you'll be fiscally distant so you shouldn't worry about that at all you are you are safe to come into the premises next slide please cohorting i'm sure that you can see that some people are sitting together because they are coming from one household so we only cohort a household not necessarily a family but just a household okay barrier you can see when the choir is singing we have barriers all over we we've thought this through we have various all over where uh they would so that there wouldn't be saliva or anything being passed across okay stage distance where i am right now to where the congregants are you can tell me it's it's far double the um required uh two meters fiscal distancing okay and then the pulpit just before i came on for those online you know that there was a little bit of a transmission when um dr faye left it's because somebody was cleaning the pulpit so basically our sanitation department are doing such a great job they always disinfect the pulpit between speakers a man so the sanctuary is always also disinfected um between service so when the first service go everybody exits the premises and the sanctuary is disinfected we do not encourage handshake at all we do virtual handshake we can give you a virtual handshake and that works so fine and great we have dedicated microphones we do not share microphones at all and if in any case we have to rest assured we always disinfect it before and we follow at the dwell time as well we have regular cleaning uh of the high touch surfaces so that includes the um that pulpit all the doorknobs and everything the sanitization department they are amazing they just do all this job for us hallelujah and then also we have um as you know a lot of people are struggling to register they say that it's curved it's full yes it's because we are following the governmental restrictions so both our better health which is the government and our better health services which is the agency their restrictions and include and local policies as well so that's why we we have to cap it so i'm sorry that you are not able to get in all the time but you all know about past mercy list which you can always get on so this is mainly um what the main protocols we have in place but we have many others tons of it so i just want to make let you know that you are safe to come into the premises it's totally safe and have i gotten the vaccine absolutely i got the vaccine five months ago and i am not i am here standing here so i'm telling you it works it's great and you need to get it we recommend strongly that you get the vaccine amen shall we run the video clip of announcement foreign so good of toronto hallelujah oh yeah he he pulled a fast one on me on friday because i thought we had stopped pulling fast once but since he continued let's start with it so he's the bishop of toronto amen praise the name of the lord uh he's the pastor of house of praise which is one of the parishes of the redeemed presentation of god in toronto like i said on friday he took over that church when they were less than 10 people and today after 20 years of pastoring they are over 2 000 and come on put your hands together you know and i appreciate god for that um you know like i said if you've not pastored before that may not mean much to you but you've mixed with people you know it's not easy praise the name of the lord and again pastoring in north america is a completely completely diff different game hallelujah so pastor wale is a is a pharmacist by training and you see that you know the way he carries himself and runs the church you can see that the professionalism is there praise the name of the lord um house of praise is probably one of the biggest parishes of rccg in north in north america for sure even outside of nigeria okay so what god is doing with him and that church um is significant praise the name of the lord say amen you know if you don't know him or if you if you see him the way he's preaching on friday you can be fooled pastor allah is a pretty focused person highly driven in fact you know sometimes when we uh when we get a talk you know i'm like and i play some scenarios that have happened here i say pastor wale how are you i mean if you have this narrow abc what would you do i will tell you what i did he will laugh is that you do that he said you're a nice guy he's very decisive pastor is you can't you can't be at that level and you mess around no it's pretty decisive and you can smell a phony from email praise god praise god you know uh himself and his wife you know they've given themselves to the work you know pointing themselves but one of the things i really like about him is you know the fact that he truly supports new covenant assembly let's put our hands together for jesus he truly supports the new covenant assembly you know uh many people may say many things but even from the very beginning you know when uh because you know starting this church was interested he put himself on the line he put himself on the line he supported new covenant assembly two years ago when the church got to a crossroad and we needed to take a decision his support was there praise god when you find somebody that supports you in the middle of a crisis you found a good man come on put your hands together so for me um i'm a pretty loyal person i don't care whatever i have is back too because when somebody can put themselves on the line and stick with you stick with the church in the middle of crisis that's a good man he has a good heart praise the name of the lord hallelujah so i believe that as it brings the word of god today we shall be blessed amen the only thing the only issue i have with him is this there's only one issue i have with him you know the country grew up you know um he was raised in africa in the country called nigeria i know that country in nigeria the only issue i have with pasawale because in that country there are some universities you know we have some very top universities and some okay universities so he went to one of those okay universities they call it university of ife and they like to make a lot of noise like they're at the top whereas you know i you know i'm canadian but i've made some research in that country you have very good universities like they call them unnamed ui but the best of them from my own research without any buyers it's university of lagos hallelujah but pastor valley went to university of ifa but but it's okay the bible says we should bear the burden of other people praise god uh that's the only thing you know but for that he's a great guy are you ready for the word of god when god wants to change your destiny he sends you a word when god wants to re rearrange the life of a man he sends the man a word praise the name of the lord in the name of the lord jesus as the word of god comes to you today i pray that there will be rearrangement in your favor in the name of jesus new covenant assembled are you ready for the word of god rise up on your feet even as we definitely it's been an amazing conference making of champions calgary 2021 uh for you i want to congratulate you once again pastor cola and paso dabota you guys are doing a fantastic job um you know do you know you're doing an amazing work and the entire family of new covenant assembly you guys are doing a fantastic work and we uh as we as we continue to view what you're doing here what you're doing from the outside we're inspired we're we're taking inspiration from the exploits we're hearing that you're doing in the kingdom of god we are really really really excited to hear the good news and we trust god that it will continue to go higher and higher in jesus name well done paso cola i salute you i honor you i appreciate you and thank you for inviting me to be part of your very successful conference thank you for giving me an opportunity to be part part of this god bless you um good morning church happy sunday to every one of you i trust you've been having a wonderful time over the weekend on friday we looked at arise and shine part one okay horizon is the theme of our conference this year 2021 as you know and we looked at part one so today i'm going to conclude my own part of this conference okay and other great men okay are going to be speaking for the rest of the conference by the grace of god so but for my own part today i'm going to conclude this arise and shine part two so we're still looking at isaiah the 60 verse 103 so shall we look at it again isaiah 60 verse 1 to 3 and it reads arise and shine for your light has come and the glory of the lord is risen upon you behold the darkness that cover the earth and deep darkness the people but the lord will arise over you and his glory will be seen upon you the gentiles will come to your light and the kings to the brightness of your rising that will be your portion in the name of jesus the gentiles will come to your light and the kings will come to the brightness of your rising in the mighty mighty name of jesus christ maybe i should even pray for somebody at this point you will not be ordinary in the name of jesus christ god did not create you to be ordinary god did not create your life to be mundane it increased your life to be routine so i pray for you you will not be ordinary in jesus mighty name you will live an extraordinary life you will have extraordinary manifestations you will have extraordinary developments in your life in jesus mighty name your life will be a testimony to the extraordinary power of god in the mighty mighty name of jesus so shall it be in jesus mighty name let's remind ourselves of a few things we looked at already we looked at it and we said you know god has a great plan concerning you i know you've had it several times but we should look at it again the more we hear it the stronger our faith becomes god has a great plan concerning you and me and this plan has not changed the pandemic the lock down notwithstanding some 102 verse 27 says god is the same okay let's start from verse 26 psalm 102 verse 26 he's talking about the heaven and the earth he says they will perish this is about god will endure they will grow old like a garment okay it's a god would change them he said but god himself remains the same in verse 27. so because god remains the same his plan for you which is uncalled on his word which is unchanging and unchangeable remains the same the plan has not changed and what is this plan amongst many other things okay that the plan of god the word of god tells us about the plan of god is that god has a plan of greatness for you can you say that with me and put it on the chat if you are there god has a plan of greatness for me please say that with me one more time god has a plan of greatness for me that's right okay genesis 12 verse 2 to 3 god told abram i will make you great okay i'll make you a great nation okay i'll make your name great god told abram that okay and then god tells us in the book of galatians chapter 3 verse 29 the new living translation that this promise and other promises that god gave to abraham belongs to ross the church it belongs to us he said we the church are the true children of abraham okay and god's promise to abraham belongs to us galatians 3 29 new living translation so it belongs to you belongs to me so the plan of greatness belongs to you it belongs to me okay it belongs to you and it belongs to me then we looked at it and we said you know what there are many principles that you know came into being you know for abraham okay to be able to manifest this greatness and see this greatness practically and you know we broke this into two and we spoke about arise on friday if king if you were not here on friday and you didn't join us on friday i will encourage you to go back to the teaching on friday make sure you you know get it go over it again and again and even if you were there you know just go right again so that you can continue to build your faith all right so we spoke about arise on sunday i'm sorry on friday so today we want to speak about shine shine so what when it says arise shine in the book of isaiah 60 verse 1 what is really talking about what is the definition of shine so first let's look at matthew chapter five let's start from verse 13 we're going all the way to 16. matthew 25 and verse 13. jesus christ speaking on what is called the summon of the mount okay so here i want you to notice that he wasn't just speaking to his elect apostles the twelve of them he's speaking here to all those i believe it was a general general um congregational teaching if you want to put it that way okay it was a general public uh for people that believe in him that's you and me okay inclusive of that so he said you are the salt of the earth if the salt loses his flavor how shall he be seasoned is good for nothing too but to be thrown out and trampled under foot by men verse 14 you are the light of the world a city set upon a hill that cannot be hidden verse 16 let's jump to 16 let your light so shine before men that they may see your good works and glorify your father within heaven this scripture means a lot to me particularly emotionally you know apart from it every time i read it you know i have a swell of emotions in me why because in the year 2002 you know uh when i started out in minister as a pastor in year 2000 about 20 years 22 years ago now in year 2000 okay i was bi vocational because doing doing the work and just you know just zealous for god and doing doing this and you know teacher started growing and it just started growing beyond what i could handle you know some some can handle some have grace for this i just did not have the grace for that so i was being pulled you know in different directions and i wanted to i knew i was sensing that it was time to go full time to go into fundamentals but i i didn't want to go into full-time ministry without some very strong assurances from god because i've seen people do it and you know in a way they just their family have really suffered so i wanted to get some assurance from god so i i went to a place of prayer to pray one of the scriptures that god used they are showing me was the scripture and the way god explained the scripture to me in on that particular occasion in that particular context this is 2002 okay was that when i look at the scripture it says let your light shine before men that they will see your good works and glorify your father neville it just struck me that you know my light shining which in that context as in that time for me meant that i was going to be successful okay that god was interested in my success but not only that i could see from the scripture that god ties his glory to my being successful in other words if i'm successful god will be glorified and i dare to say that the opposite is also true you know if i'm successful god is excited because it gets glory from that and to confirm that i also saw matthew chapter 9 verse 8 the glorified god who has given such power to men when jesus raised up the paralytic man so i saw that if by the grace of god i will have an impactful ministry i saw that god will be glorified through it so and you know like you say the rest is history and i i believe the word of god it didn't look like it then i stepped out and god honored his word but today we want to look at it what does this mean when god says we should shine when is this let your light shine what does that mean let me give you three things it means to shine okay number one the first thing it means when it's talking about shining number one it means to be distinguished in the race of life to be distinguished in the race of life okay to be distinguished in the race of life so it's saying that you will not be communicating you know you'll not be a common person okay you'll be distributed you will stand out you'll be outstanding in the race of life you will not be average you will not be a mediocre you'll be outstanding and you know this is very important to me because when i saw this and i wrote this down you know then and i imbibed it i simulated it believed it received it and applied it then it didn't look like it at all it did not look like it at all so now when i look back now after 21 years of being in ministry and doing this and i see what god you know is done and sometimes when i hear what people say it's amazing that they say exactly these things that i wrote down then you know to be distinguished okay to be distinguished in life in the race of life to be outstanding number two it means listen to this very carefully number two it means to excel beyond your natural capabilities to excel beyond your natural capabilities so i know you are talented as a modifier let me let me say it again i know you are very talented the body of christ is full particularly in this day and age full of a lot of talented people highly talented people the unfortunate thing is that many people trust in their talents many people trust in their talents god wants us to use our talents god wants us to utilize our talents he does not want us to trust in our talents as says we should trust in god with all of our hearts and lean not on our own understanding okay god is going to give us the talents but he does not want us to idolize the talent one of the worst things that can happen to a christian is for people to come to you and let you know that you're talented you're talented you're very talented and if you're not careful you start trusting in your natural talents without depending on god as you go forward you know and that is a recipe for disaster in the future so but to shine means to excel beyond the natural capability so people say to you that okay based on your talent and everything based on the projection of your talent your hard work this is how far you should go but they see that what they said is how far you should go becomes your starting point you go way beyond that why because you are shining you're shining number three what does it mean to shine number three it means to maximize your potential and fulfill your destiny to maximize your potential and fulfill your destiny that is part of what it means when he says i can do all things why can you how can you do all things he says the reason is not because of my talent but because of christ who strengthens me philippians 4 verse 13. okay you saw that so to shine let's recap it means to be distinguished in the race of life it means to excel beyond your natural capabilities or natural talent it means to maximize your potential and fulfill your destiny okay so then please note very important in order for you to shine in order for me to shine all right we must have something very important well there are two very important things we need to shine i will talk okay i'll focus more on one of them okay the first one that i will mention i'm sure pastor cola has done a fantastic job in this areas over over the years and over the mountain it's an area that he walks in tremendous with tremendous excellence and practical results so i won't belabor you on that the first thing you need to shine is power you need power to shine okay so like i said i won't talk too much about that okay but the second thing you need to shine is that you need light you need light to shine you need light to shine so you need power but you need light to shine if you're going to shine okay which means you're going to be distinguishing life if you're going to be outstanding if you're going to excel beyond the natural capabilities if you're going to maximize your potential and fulfill your destiny you will need power you shall receive power when the holy ghost is come upon you you need power but also in addition to the power you need light all right so then what is light what is light light means revelation knowledge revelation knowledge revelation knowledge of the word of god that's what i mean by light so let's look at it two scriptures psalm 119 verse 130 psalm 119 verse 130 the entrance of your world look at it now gives light so the entrance the word translated entrance here in the hebrew actually means the opening up that's what it means the opening up of your word the revelation of your word okay the opening up of your word brings light all right so to confirm this let's look at it in the new testament ephesians chapter 1 let's start from verse 17 okay ephesians chapter 1 verse 17 the god of our lord jesus christ the father of glory okay may give you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him okay so we're talking about revelation knowledge translation i pray your heart will be dead with light so we saw that now our hearts will be flooded with light so we want to shine that's what god said we should do that's what god wants us to do that is the will of god concerning us but to shine we need power and we need light what is light light is revelation knowledge of the word of god okay revelation knowledge of the word of god now please stay with me this is a very important part revelation knowledge of the word of god this light now the question then is this i in my experience i have you know mingling talking relating with many christians traveling to different places across the world meeting many christians thousands and thousands of christians over the years tens of thousands of them over the years i have found out that many christians okay some person say i read the bible i don't get anything out of it something when i read it i don't understand it like that and because people don't know that the bible has many levels within it okay and i don't want to get into too much of that today the bible has many levels within it there are people and this is very important when we start out as christians and i'm sure you do it and i do it and i did it and i still do it but i just want to show you something here when we started as christians the encouragement they give us when i started as a christian and i used to attend bible studies the encouragement they give us is to memorize verses in the bible okay so they'll tell us that you know try and memorize scriptures in the bible you know so they give us you know scriptures in our bible study classes we'll have memory verses and all of that and that helped no doubt about that and we memorized a lot of scriptures and i quote a lot of scriptures as a result of personal time and reading the bible i'm memorizing another word for that you know is you know from where i come from cramming you know you cram it whether you understand what they say you don't know to say that it's not the issue just cram it you know so you know crime a lot of scriptures just memorize it but over the years i started finding that like people that i like this brother can quote a lot of scriptures ah this sister she has memorized a lot of scripture how come she's like this how come that brother is like that i started finding out after many years that to memorize the scripture is a good thing it's a good discipline but it's on one level that's one level we have to go beyond just memorizing the bible why listen carefully to this because when you and i memorize scriptures the scriptures stay in our mind in our minds okay we recollect them in our memory okay so we store them in our what is called our long-term memory that's what we taught them our long-term memory okay we store those scriptures there so when the need comes we have we pull it out of our long-term memory and you know we regurgitate it we know we say it out and that's great and we can because if you really see people that have really memorized scriptures they can really impress you you know but uh but i i want to say to you that beyond storing the scriptures in our long-term memory the scriptures must get into our hearts so when we take the scripture so so for example now let's let's look at it let's look at romans chapter 10 let's start from verse 8. romans 10 let's look at verse eight nkgdb okay verse nine it says if you confess with your mouth and believe in your heart you believe in your heart verse 10 for with the heart one beliefs so you see that faith faith does not reside in the mind faith is not you know it's not residual in the mind it is in the heart the question then for many christians then i found out is that they have a lot of scriptures in their mind they have very few if anything at all in their heart and it takes their heart to belief it takes the mind to agree but it takes a heart to believe and what brings about results it's not what you have agreed with in your mind it is what you have believed in your heart you see that so the challenge over the years then is how do i get the scriptures that i know or that i'm reading or that i already know in my mind into my heart how do i get it from my mind into my heart or how do i get it from the pages of scripture of the book into my heart that's the key question and it is when it is it leaves the pages of the book or leaves your mind into your heart that is when it i know um is personally applied in your situation okay you have an insight into it okay beyond what somebody a casual observer will see that's when it's revelation knowledge and the the way it does happens the process by which that happens is called meditation meditation so our access to revelation knowledge is by meditation please stay with me this message may sound very simple to you but this is the i believe one of the major missing link in the body of christ while we have many christians that don't have stability meditation meditation okay we have access into revelation knowledge by meditation by a process called meditation so what is meditation then let's go through it briefly meditation okay is when we ponder or we think on the scripture okay until the deeper meaning which is the truth the deeper meaning is revealed when we think on the scriptures until the deeper meaning is revealed let's look at acts chapter 17 verse 2 akdb acts verse 17 verse 2. paul as his custom was he went to them that means you know it was went uh you know speaking here let's start from verse one so you can see the context now they passed through you know antipolis and apollonia they came to thessalonica where there was a synagogue of the jews okay so paul went as his customers he went to them so he's talking about going to the jews in the synagogue of the jews okay and for three sabbaths that's three weeks look at what did paul do he reasoned with them from the scripture note that paul was not just quoting the scripture paul was listening with them from the scriptures you see that so it was they were basically meditating meditating on the scriptures they were reasoning through the scriptures and it is from there that revelation knowledge comes out all right uh if you see if you see for example acts of the eighth let's start from verse 31 or let's start from verse 30. acts of apostle to the eighth the story of philip and the utopian eunuch the bible says philip ran to him okay and heard him reading the prophet isaiah so the ethiopian enoch is in his carriage is coming back from jerusalem on his way back home obviously to ethiopia reading the scroll of isaiah okay reading it and then philip asked me a question do you understand what you are reading okay so let's stop there for a minute this man as you can see okay you can't fault his diligence it's reading and this was where you find many questions they're reading the bible they read the bible they wake up they read the bible this man is also reading the scriptures but when philip asked him do you understand look at the answer of the man the man said how can i i said somebody guides me okay so in other words the man is basically saying yes philip you can see me reading it but i don't understand what i'm reading so you find many christians like that this is what this thing leads to frustration for many people you know they read the bible because when i was a younger christian people would tell us stay in the world read the word hold on to the word okay and you're reading this thing and you don't understand it so so philip axel said can i come up and the man said come and sit with me now let's go and i want to show you what revelation knowledge looks like so look at what the bible says the place in the scripture where this man was reading so he's quoting where this man was written now okay from the book of isaiah so this is what the man was reading look at what he married he was led as a ship to the slaughter and as a lamb before in sierra's silence so he opened not his mouth okay keep going it is humiliation his justice was taken away and wu will declare his generation for his life is taken from the earth all right so this is the place where the unit was reading so do you not ask philip he said please who is the prophet speaking about is he speaking about himself or about another man now what you will not in the scriptures we just read is that the name of jesus is not there the name messiah is not there the name christ is not there okay but this was the prophecy of isaiah but this was very confusing to the enoch so he took philippe by the holy spirit to open it up so let's continue verse 35. so the bible says philip opened his mouth and beginning at this scripture he now preached jesus to him so philip now from this scripture that literally does not talk about jesus in terms of the name of jesus is not there okay philip not told him this scripture actually applies to the messiah and this is the reason why i applause to the messiah isaiah prophesied about his bet isaiah is prophesying here about his death and this is it i now preach jesus to him and told him that this name jesus is now resurrected and if you put your faith in him your sins will be washed away look at the impact of that revelation knowledge verse 36 as they went down the road the young said see here is water what hinders me being baptized see so that means philippa told him about baptism and philip said if you believe with all of your heart and look at the answer the man gave the man said i believe that jesus christ is the son of god you see that is the conclusion he has come to okay by the explanation that philip gave him okay revelation knowledge based on the literal word he has just read as a result of that he was saved and he was baptized what got him saved and baptized was when revelation knowledge came out of the literal knowledge of scripture that's what got him saved when the revelation knowledge came out of the literal knowledge of scripture what many christians would do is that when they get to acts chapter 8 let's go back to verse 33 okay or verse 32 acts chapter 8 verse 32 when he says the place in scripture that he read it was later the sheep of slaughter what many christians would do is that they would memorize this place he was led as a ship to the slaughter as islam to share a salad he opened his mouth they will be quoting that and saying that but they are not the next thing that will happen for this scripture to become a manifestation which is that process of meditation that now leads to revelation that now leads to manifestation they don't have it you can't jump the process from just reading to manifestation you read or you study then you have meditation that meditation will lead to revelation when you take that revelation and you have application the application to the revelation is what now leads to manifestation see that so you can't jump the process you can't join the process this is the reason why many christians are not shining meditation is going beyond the literal meaning of the word of god to the deeper meaning to going beyond the letters to the spirit of the world okay meditation is what takes the word of god from our head our minds into our hearts all right in first corinthians after two verse ten first corinthians two verse ten it tells us god has revealed them to us through his spirit so in other words this whole idea of revelation knowledge is one of the ministries of the holy spirit and this is the part where is very important for pentecostals hear me clearly many of us pentecostals and charismatics we have made the assumption that when you give your life to christ okay you get baptized in water by immersion then by god's grace maybe you get filled by the holy s get filled with with the holy spirit with evidence of speaking in tongues we have automatically assumed that that's the last bus stop so people say i'm a spiritual believer i'm a free spirit-filled believer i can speak in tongues great we think that speaking in tongues is an end in itself speaking in tongues is not an end in itself speaking in tongues is a means to an end speaking in tongues is a means to an end so we speak in tongues that is a means to an end first corinthians chapter 14 verse 2 first corinthians 14 verse 2 he who speaks in a tongue does not speak to man but he speaks to god for no one understands him but in the spirit he speaks mysteries okay verse four okay he who speaks in tongues builds up himself so when you and i begin to edify ourselves we begin to build up ourselves we begin to strengthen our stats our inner man begins to become more and more sensitive to the holy spirit when we now approach the scripture or the ones we've already stored in our mind okay then the holy spirit opens it up in dimensions we do not we can't even begin to understand now and and all of a sudden listen carefully all of a sudden what was a general word now becomes a personal world it is this process of meditation that makes a general world a personal world i'll give you an example in the year 2000 2007 in the year 2006 first and foremost okay uh towards the end of the year the last quarter of the year you know by the grace of god our local church here in toronto uh mississauga ontario i suppose you know we had started two services in that year 2006. so church was growing no doing relatively well you know in the in the context of that at that time so so god got laid upon our heart to fast so we went on the 28th day fast in the as we enter into the last quarter of the year at the end of that 28-day fast okay we're going to was we don't have a service to close the fast that service was the prophetic service so we knew that the building were in then we'll not be able to we just sense that we will not be able to take every one of us so we said you know what let's rent a convention center so we rented a convention center which here in our local area here it's called the mississauga convention center you know a fairly decent place we rented a place that would sit probably about 700 people you know but this was the type of step of faith for us because the church of that time was just about was about 550 people so we rented this to that we see about 700 people and we enter the place 30 minutes into the program there was no seat left one hour into the program the whole place was so packed that people were standing all over the place and standing outside it's a matter of fact on that day we had about 960 something people that were counted on that day okay so it was such a such an amazing thing after that time in in house of praise we had not ever seen 600 or 700 or 800 people we just saw listen 900 people so anyway we had the service service was wonderful this was october 2006. now what happened after that what you know when our team of people you know uh you know saw all of that they were so excited so they came to me you know and said oh pastor you know look at what we saw uh and you know they said you know the building we are in you know is kind of like limiting us should we start going to the convention centers and start using it for some of our services and nobody was more interested in doing that than me but i know from scripture that i couldn't just jump in doing that because many reasons but amongst the many reasons is that going to the convention center was going to be a game changer for us financially it was the was the client it was you you have to pay for the venue you have to pay for rented or the visual there are many other things people have to go in there set up it was going to be a stretch for us so i didn't just want to jump and do that i wanted to know if this was going to be if god was leading me in this direction so when the pressure was much of me i said to them you know what guys i can't say yes i can say no naturally it looks good but i need to hear from god directly on this issue okay so i told them what well there's no ham book the place you know and if i you know because what they wanted they suggested was that we should use the convince that once they want i said no don't worry book the place if i you know if if it doesn't if i hear if god says i will not go then we'll go so they booked the place but i needed a word from god because i learnt my lesson i know from luke chapter five that when jesus had preached and spoken to the multitude the bible says in verse four that when he has finished speaking he said to simon he gave simon a personal word okay it's the single room out of the multitude so i needed a word from god from scripture not just the literal scripture that says wherever you lay your hands on your prosper i needed insight into the scripture so i prayed about it prayed in tongues no clamor snake clerush allah get more clever cartoons yet spirit of god what are you saying clean that cobra and you know i was calm you know i i wasn't uh i wasn't um you know i i wasn't worried or anxious i was calm but i didn't hear anything then this particular day i left my house which i was living about 30 minutes away from the church i was driving to church i can never forget that day because it was such a life transforming day for me and it changed the face of our ministry i know i was driving the church when all of a sudden the scriptures just came to me second corinthians chapter two verse fourteen second corinthians 2 verse 14 thanks be on to god look at what he says who now listen to this now who always always leads us in triumph in christ and through us diffuses the fragrance of his knowledge in every place every place that was revelational to me that was remar every placement conversion center anywhere then the bible says this triumph and the bible says the triumph is always once i saw that i knew that i had what he just spoke to me from that's the scripture but for me every place meant every conversion center you see that always meant continuously triumph means i won't we won't run into depth you know so starting from january 7 2007 all the way to 2019 december we always went to the convention center we're almost 13 years about 13 years okay we did it every single monday some months we did it every single sunday and the church was growing and growing and the church started growing started growing and you know sometimes we used three or four different conversion centers within a month and the amazing part of it is that sometimes we forget to announce which convention that we're going to and people will go to a particular convention that hey they will see us there drive to another one b they will see us drive to another one seat people would drive around three or four conversations on a particular sunday and they will still come to church and we never lacked we never begged and the church exploded the numbers it was just incredible it took that particular action took the church to dimensions i could not even begin to explain right now you see all of this came out of rhema out of a revelation from the word of god not just the literal meaning only the literal meaning is very important don't get me wrong the literal meaning is very important but but by meditating on the world we get we touch the spirit of the world amen that is why when moses died god told joshua moses my servant is dead but i want you to arise you are going to lead these people now now when you read this now because you when you are not ready we have the benefit of knowing how it all ended joshua came in conquered land and all of that but when joshua was hearing this for the first time moses my servant is dead joshua you would not be the one to lead these people that was scary it was so scary because moses was such a great man of god that it was intimidating i mean this is a man the only man in scripture that directly saw the handwriting of god not once but twice the only person that saw god right on stones god himself said i spoke to him face to face and allah was immediacy of communication okay and now moses had a road that god used as an instrument to bring your signs and wonders joshua had no road joshua had no paraphernalia of office but joshua had to leave these same people that moses had believed that were giving moses trouble but god gave joshua something superior to the road of moses what was this thing superior to the word of moses verse 8 this book of the lord shall not depart from your mouth you shall meditate in it day and night and when you do that you will observe to do according to what is written in it in other words you will obey it he said that when you do that joshua you will make your way prosperous and you will have good success you know about joshua you will be it's when you stop that success will stop that's what was basically telling him so meditating in scripture is superior to paraphernalia administration [Music] meditating on scripture is superior to the word of moses it is superior to the mantle of elijah it is superior to the oil of book of james it is superior to anyone of all these prophets don't get me wrong don't get me wrong i'm not saying that you know that is not scriptural what i'm talking of levels levels meditating on scripture is superior to all of these things it's superior to it okay how does meditation lead us to shine how does it lead us to shine number one meditation makes us rob minds with god okay proverbs chapter 12 verse 20 meditation makes up to rob our mind with the mind of god proverbs 12 20. the city is in the heart of those who do evil but the counselors of of peace have joy isaiah 1 verse 18. i will put it together now isaiah 21 verse 18 come now let us listen together many people go to god to beg god to do something but he said no no no no that's okay you can come to go and pray and make a request but from time to time i want you to come before me let us really sing together let us resend together it's an invitation that god is giving you you want to shine you want to be distinguishing destiny you want to excel in life you want to be outstanding you want to maximize your potential fulfill your destiny you want to have success beyond the level of your natural talent then god is inviting you come let us reason together and when you do that what is happening then is that you begin to rob minds with the mind of god okay meditation is what makes you then you become wiser than your teachers it allows you to display wisdom beyond your natural age and years of experience okay psalm 119 verse 98 and 99 you display the wisdom that is beyond your age you is talking about god through your commandments you have made me wiser than my enemies verse 99 i have more understanding than my teachers for your testimonies and my meditation you know you know i remember some times ago by the gifts of god in our ministry i look our ministry and that's a praise you know still a very small church we're still on our way trying to you know get you know things to a level that god has taken us to but there was a particular time when you know when the previous building were in and in that particular building it had been maxed out completely we're running four services we had rented three other properties on the street you know for junior church teenage church and some other specialized classes and we're running the same number of services in all of this and it was something you know if you had come to our church then our local church here and you know and seeing what happens between the interchange between our services it's incredible you know you start a service first service 15 minutes before the end of the first service i lift up my eyes and i look through the crowd and i see people at the door 15 minutes before the end of service sometimes 20 minutes before the end of the service people are already masked out waiting for this people that are in this service to come out so that they can rush in and get a seat because you will not be able to get a place to sit people sit all the way in fact there are services we've had with ourselves that people drive to church they are unable to come into the building not just into the sanctuary they can't come into the building they have to stay in their car and stream on their phone so so at one day i was praying you know and i thought to myself i've got to go reason with god about what i'm going to do next so i was taking a walk and reasoning with god god this is where we are right now okay this is basically where we are listening with god what should be the next step i know i have no doubt nobody's going to convince me that we have not reached the limit of our potential or the plan you have for us because the path of the righteous is like a shining light that shines brighter and brighter to the perfect day the question then is what should i do next how should i approach this nest so this is where you have an advantage in praying in tongues na kleto zika lama gramas la cataba allah eyes have not seen years i've not heard neither has to enter the heart of mind what you are prepared for those who love you spirit of god what are you leading me to say how should i approach this what are the things i need to change what are the things i need to implement as i was asking the holy spirit listening with him okay and look going from scripture to scripture that i remember in my mind whipping it through suddenly i had the answer suddenly i had the answer okay i had the answer i applied the answer and like i said the rest is history okay it's unlocked the growth of the church moved the church to another dimension of ministry entirely because meditation allows you and i to rob minds with god we're able to quickly download wisdom from god into our situation number two how does meditation lead us to shine number two meditation allows us to operate on the frequency of god therefore dominating our circumstances okay in the book of john chapter 10 verse 33 to 35 john chapter 10 verse 33 to 35 jesus was speaking he said for a good walk would not stone you did you say to him but for blasphemy because you make yourself god verse 34 jesus answered is it not written in the word in your law i said to them you are ghosts now look at verse 35 look how it says if he called them gods who did they call gods to whom the word of god came the people the word of god entered into their spirit man they had revelation knowledge and those scriptures cannot be broken so the people that become god over the circumstance and circumstances okay they are the ones to whom the word of god and the word of god is god once the word of god which is god enters into your inner man your spirit man your heart the light of that word enters into your heart on that particular issue you operate in the frequency of god not in the frequency of man you see how does revelation knowledge how does it make us shine finally revelation knowledge makes you and i to shine by giving us the boldness that is beyond the natural it gives us boldness beyond the natural boldness beyond the natural you see if you are going to be outstanding in life and i thank god for you know for a pastor pastor cola is a man that i admire god's grace upon his life tremendously and i salute god's grace upon his life you know he's a man that you know has operated in boldness over the years that i've known him you know oppressed in boldness okay and the reason why he's able to operate on that frequency that level of boldness what will make other people think he just does it with boldness whereas the level of assurance that you see in him and you hear okay you hear in his voice and that reason is simple it's acts chapter 4 verse 13 acts 4 verse 13 the bible says clearly when they saw the boldness of peter and john they perceived that they were uneducated or untrained men okay this is not the scripture to apply to say you don't want to go to school okay that's not what he's saying here okay saying that they were not taught under the pharisees and the services in their own rabbinic schools that's what he's saying okay they marveled and they realized they have been with jesus in today's world who is jesus jesus is the world is the living world okay when you stay you reason with the world you won't even know you have the buddhas you know when people come to you and say ah man you're so bold you're looking at them and say really because for you you are just taking actions that are natural to you you don't consider it to be bold but people say my god you have a heart of a lion i remember one time you know i was appreciated about to do a particular project so i had the meeting with our leaders and i asked them that you know what we're going to do this project this work is living up in my heart and so on and so forth and the acts questions and so on then i said you know what on our way let me take you to the project so i took them to the place and then when we entered the place you look at it one of our long-standing leaders turned around and look at me and say pastor pastor i said yes he said you tumbling his ear he said you must have a heart of a lion to even think of these talkers of daring this and for me in all honesty i wasn't thinking maybe i was bored i didn't think i was bored i just thought i was just acting simply on the world i was just acting simply on what i feel it was one of god on the revelation knowledge where he said pastor this he said this is this is not for little children see you see boldness comes and that boldness is required for you to lay hold of bold testimonies you can have big testimonies big manifestations if you are not bold you need to be bold the righteous as bold as a lion you need to be bold okay so man meditation is what allows you and i don't have that that level of assurance we don't see today in many christians we don't see today many christians first thessalonians chapter one verse five first thessalonians after one verse five we don't see this level of assurance you know it's not very common today among christians let's wrap this up first thessalonians 5. it says our gospel did not come to you in ward only you see that not just literal world that we've just crammed and memorized he said but also in power okay that's one level another level he says that in the holy spirit in much assurance in much assurance so the people know that they know that they know that they know they are not guessing i know that i know that i know i know nobody nobody can convince me i know that i know that god has a plan of greatness for me i know it no devil no human being on earth nobody can convince me it is not a plan i have to beg god to have for me is a plan god already has for me before the foundations of the world i know it i'm convinced i know with every fiber of my being you should know it too let nobody convince you you are not destined to be a mediocre you are not destined to be ordinary you are not destined to be common god has a plan for you to be outstanding for you to be extraordinary for you to be a city set upon a hill that cannot be hidden god has a plan for you that whatever you lay your hands on shall prosper god does not have a plan of failure for you and listen to this god is not testing you with failure don't buy into all of that junk god is not testing you with failure god is delighted in your success when your life shines it takes glory in that i am convinced completely not just beyond reasonable doubt i'm convinced beyond all doubt that god has a great plan for your life and for my life this assurance comes when you have spent time with the word of god okay as i wrap up today okay remember what we said on friday for you to arise it means to change your posture for you to change your posture we looked at three areas in which you and i needs to change our posture worship operating the word of god and warfare then today we've been talking about shining what it means to be distinguished okay in your race the rest of life or race of life to be outstanding it means to excel beyond your natural capability we also said it means to maximize your potential and fulfill your destiny what does it take to shine well we said there are two things power and light we didn't really talk too much about the power because i know our pastor person caller i've done a fantastic job over the years in teaching on that but we spoke a little bit more about light and we said light what does light mean we said it means revelation knowledge how do i get access to this revelation knowledge by meditation and this is what we said we said when you read the bible when you study your bible it's not enough it is the beginning okay it's a starting point but it's not enough we said you've got to study your bible read your bible but then you now have to that must lead to meditation it is this meditation that leads to revelation and this revelation when you now add application which means you are obeying it when you add application that is what leads to manifestation what people see is manifestation what people celebrate is manifestation but the people that celebrate your manifestation they don't understand and then that's the reason why somebody's manifestation cannot be copied because manifestation is as a result of the fact that there was application added to my revelation and that revelation came by meditation so you see that the the root is deep the root is deep okay that's what i've always said to people in our church here when you hear somebody's testimony somebody says you know what i've been out of a job for like six months in the trusting of a job my wife also was looking for a job you know she wanted to change that job you know i'm looking for a job and i've applied several times but all of a sudden you know i started doing the scriptures and applying some teachings i had in church you know when they share this one is like that and and suddenly you know somebody plays i've sent my resume you know some time long ago i didn't even look back at them forgotten they just called me out of the blues and they said are you still interested and i told them yeah and they said okay they called me back about 20 minutes later and said are you ready for an interview this afternoon i said uh okay i did the interview they said i was taking away a second and told the interview and laura be older coming back on monday and told me you know if you're ready they're ready to move on and you know move to their offer that they're satisfied already and you know answer they give them a job when somebody when a younger christian hears that he says ah look at that ah there's nothing god cannot do look at how god has developed i know god will do my own that's the baby christian speaking a mature christian who will listen to that testimony very well or if they have the opportunity walk up to the brother of the sister said good afternoon sister congratulations on that powerful testimony you share great you listen to their stories and in that story the person said i was listening to the word and i applied the word then you asked them which word were you listening to was that a cd was that a tape was that a message in charge what message was that because if you catch the same revelation and you apply that revelation you know you meditate on what it means to know you have revelation you applied then you're also going to see manifestation but you can never see manifestation just by assuming god does it like that okay when god told peter jesus told peter launch out into the deep for a catch if any other person there had launched the elected they wouldn't have caught anything because that word was specifically for simon all right so the question i want to just answer very simply something this is something you already know okay but this summer will be complete if i don't say this so i just to remind you of it all right how do i meditate effectively what is needed to meditate effectively three things i'm just going to touch them then we're done for today okay number one you need the presence of the holy spirit presence of the holy spirit number two you need of course the word of god the bible you need the bible the bible you need the presence of the holy spirit you need the bible and number three number three which is the main reason why people don't meditate is you need time time you need time time you need to make time out to be able to interact with the holy spirit you cannot find time so don't find time because you won't find it satan will see to it that you never find that time you will need to make time out [Music] many years ago a great man of god came to our church his name is dr mensahu uttabil he came for one of our conferences and you know he taught some very serious dynamic teachings this was this is over 10 years ago when he finished you know i listened and wrote things down when he finished i felt that the things he shared i had not fully fully imbibed them so this was what i did i asked the technical team to give me all the cds of the three days they did they put all the cities together and some other cities that i bought okay from the book stand that he had preached i put them together i told my wife i was going to go away i booked a hotel you know far away for about five days i went to sit down in the hotel just by myself i wake up in the morning i pray particularly i worship i pray in tongues then i put on the first city i'll listen to it i listen to the city over and over and on each city i listen to my list each day maybe about four or five times listen to it over and over again i'll write notes second time listen to it i will see what i would hear what i didn't hear before by the time i came out of that hotel after about five days i was a different person entirely came back changed a few things put some new things in place things just things just entered another dimension you see i did not find the time i made it you will need to make time you will need to make time some of you man of course you might allow me to take five days off that might not be what you can do and that's understandable yours might be half a day just might be just one evening yours might be a saturday just might be a sunday evening whatever time it is you make time take the bible okay or your summer notes or some cds or some messages preached by pastor cola and so on and so on pick it up or from this conference you know get in there you know assure the president holy spirit through worship through prayer then begin to think through begin to write things down begin to rob mind begin to listen together that's how you meditate and as you do that i trust god that in this season in the name of jesus that is above every name this conference is called the making of champions you will forever be a champion you will never be a loser you will be a winner you will never be a failure as the scripture says you are the head you are not the tale you will forever be above only in jesus name i pray for new covenant assembly your light is shining it will never grow deep your light is shining it will never be extinguished in the name of jesus but your path will shine brighter and brighter until the perfect day in the name of jesus christ you have seen great things but i prophesy into your life you will see greater things than this in jesus name you will see greater things than this in jesus name you will see greater things than this in jesus name i declare over you whatever was a prayer point was a good an agonizing point for you before you came for this conference in the name of jesus christ i command a shift in the realm of the spirit concerning that issue it will turn out in your favor for when the lord turned the captivity of zion they were like those who were dreaming our mouth was filled with laughter along a tongue with singing in the name of jesus christ god will turn things around for you the bible says and they said among the nations the lord has done great things for them that will be your testimony also in jesus mighty name you will be able to share testimony like joseph shared you meant it for evil but god meant it for god in the name of jesus god would turn everything around your favor he would turn it around in your favor he would turn it around in your favor the prophecy of greatness that god has spoken over you over the years in the name of jesus christ from tomorrow morning you will begin to see manifestations on a different level in jesus mighty name you will not be a mediocre you will not be ordinary you will not be average you will manifest greatness in the name of jesus your life will be extraordinary your life will be outstanding people will use your life and the outstanding success that your life is to pray to god for favor in the name of jesus so shall it be in jesus name so shall we be in jesus name so shall it be in jesus name i'd like you to say this with me i want to say confidently with full assurance i have entered a new season of greatness come on i've entered a new season of greatness come on declare it again i've entered a new season of greatness praise god i've entered a new season of greatness you can put it out there on the chart i have entered a new season of greatness coming one more time declared say it passionately say it with ashore said boldly said confidently i have entered a new season of greatness don't look for me in the same old address where
