if you want to create amazing AI generated images in any style with more control than mid-journey and absolutely free this video is for you I've been searching around for something better and today I've found it I'll give a walkthrough of how to use it and how to get the most out of your prompts hey everyone I'm Matt Berman and welcome back to my channel let's dive into it so this is leonardo.ai and the first thing you'll notice is that it actually has a web interface which I find to be much more convenient than using Discord here are some examples these are actually the top Creations by community members so you can see a lot of different styles here high quality very cool very differing images so here's one hyper realistic one you can click into any image that you want it will give you a bunch of information about it it will also tell you the model that was used and I'll get into that in a little bit about the different models that you can use you can also remix any image right from here and my favorite part is you seem to have much more fine grain control over every aspect of the image generation and you can actually get something that's much closer to what you have envisioned than mid-journey whereas mid-journey you can give it an you know a rough idea and it'll produce something really really cool but here with Leonardo you can get much more specific in what you're looking for and it tends to produce that thing so up at the top you're seeing the featured models here's a few examples so deliberate 1.1 very photo realistic and then over here one of my favorite is you can actually have a paper art style and these are absolutely gorgeous and so if you did want to use this model with your own prompt you come right in here and you can click this button and let's go use it so you can see right here this is the model I'm using paper art style it gives you a few this Pokemon one is one I created as you can see so let's use paper art style and I'm going to say Japanese Village keep it pretty General so it takes about the same amount of time at least from the few data points I have to mid-journey and here we are absolutely gorgeous paper style image of a Japanese Village and here's another one so the first thing I want to show is what mid-journey already does AI image generation it pulls up this really nice UI you can select the number of images here so just like mid Journey we're going to use four you can select the image Dimensions you can also custom sample them you can choose specific aspect ratios so we'll do one by one 640 by 640 pixels you can select the guidance scale which is how strongly weighted your prompt is and the step count which it'll have more detail but takes longer to render as it says here and also tiling which will spit out an image or you can actually tile it together and it'll look consistent and then last you can also upload an image as your base seed so let's type out a prompt here's one that I found that I really like let's try it again we're going to use stable diffusion 1.5 uh we don't need to add Leonardo style but we'll leave that off and we'll add a negative prompt here so I don't want to show any faces so like this one I have seen that it takes just about the same amount of time as mid Journey if not a little bit faster so here we go so here's the first set of images they're pretty good but you know what I've seen a lot better so let's actually build off of other community members and that's really where I think Leonardo sticks out so let's find the top Creations very cool stylized girl let's see I actually want to create here we go an icon set and so this one's using Leonardo creative so let's remix this one go ahead click remix I'm going to change it from an RPG to a FPS game and it should create I'm going to use 3D actually and let's generate so another cool thing about Leonardo that I haven't been able to get with mid-journey is actually being able to create nice icon sets like this without actually having to create one icon per image and then having to use Photoshop or something similar to put them all together so these are ready to go as you can see so the next thing I want to show off are the fine tune models first these are the platform models these are the ones built into Leonardo you can see PG something more lifelike anime style here's an isometric sci-fi building so I really like this one so let's go ahead and generate a new one with this so all I have to do is Click generate with this model and let's type in tall skyscraper industrial forgot to add isometrics so let's add that in there and there we go four examples of isometric industrial looking building and of course we can play around and tune these and make them even better but the cool thing again is just being able to browse around so I showed you the platform models already these are all of them and then and there's Community models as well so these are models created and trained by the community and the the really cool thing is you can grab your own images upload them and I think it takes about 30 minutes to actually train your model and you can start using it immediately so here's a stick sticker style look at all these gorgeous stickers and something really cool is you don't have to export and add this sticker like effect to it with the drop shadow and the white border it just spits it out just like that and let's find another one cat portraits I mean these are so realistic it's kind of crazy and so again this is the Creator and you can follow the Creator you can remix this image you can copy the prompt you can use this image as the seed or you can just use the model so let's look at what the actual training set looks like here's one that I created using 11 images all Pokemon I've already trained it I'll edit the data set these are the images I have this one twice some of them are pretty low res so actually the output that I saw was also low-res which is pretty funny but if you find Vector images or high-res images that won't happen so we've already trained this model so let's go back to AI image generation we'll come in here we'll select our Pokemon generate with this model and let's do Charizard and there it is so you can see some of them are are kind of low res and that is because I uploaded low-res images so next I want to show you prompt generation which is another feature that is not available in mid-journey so I'm going to start with something super basic and leonardo.ai will actually generate me ideas for my base prompt so here's a robotic figure with a Sleek metallic body illuminated by a bright blue light here's another one let's try this one this one looks cool so then we just click generate I really like this one a new feature that was just released and debated today is AI canvas and what you can do with this is let's generate the same image I've actually found that this doesn't generate high quality images like the other feature but we'll give it a try anyways yeah so what I found is the images tend to be a lot more odd and a lot more blurred between different features of the image so but we'll keep it and then what you can actually do is you can widen it up and we'll generate it again and so what this allows you to do is actually select the canvas size and and add to certain images remove certain images and build off of it so that is pretty pretty darn cool so you can erase and add to the image and that feature is still in beta and you can come into your settings you could talk about what your interests are I think that all affect what you actually see in the feed and then you can also turn on and off the NSFW content and next let me show you a few examples of my favorite Creations from Leonardo Ai and that's it leonardo.ai is a better and free alternative to mid-journey if you have any additional questions be sure to drop them in the comments and if you create anything cool in leonardo.ai be sure to share it in the comments as well and if you like this video please consider liking and subscribing I'll see you in the next one
