New Cycle - (Apocalyptic Survival Colony Building)

this one's kind of like a like a little bit like a frost Punk banished maybe a little father's Frontier in there Colony Builder the world is terrible um and we're going to go in and try to build a town in this terrible world and we'll see how it goes s of rebuild uh society and all that um I played the demo of this nine 10 months ago and I liked it quite a bit so we'll see how this one goes this is this is um oldfashioned you know Colony building style yeah um so it takes that sort of farthest Frontier or banish thing but it's it I guess it leans on the like production chains industry um side of it so we'll see what we can do here uh there is a campaign um this is a peaceful mode without any outside threats all components of city building we just go in there we just build a town and that is it that's what we looked at in the demo just sort of city building thing um I'm kind of curious about like the outside threats and all that we had like sandstorms or something we'll do the campaign we'll see what we can get into so we going be in Meadow less set less settleable more agricultural stuff we can be in the tundra it's cold uh the step lacks trees but whose fertile soil and vitality can provide adapt adequate food supply no mountains yet um home to underground surface water sources mostly Aid climate I don't know um let's go let's go step that's rarely an option I get in these kinds of games yeah we better be able to craft bicycles that's right cuz I want a new one fantastic I'm looking forward to seen this one ever since ever since that demo uh dropped a while back hey bbo thanks for the sub man did you hear about the um about the guy who had a heart attack while trying to unclog his toilet plunge to his death all right enough of that let's see if we can get into okay have to plunge into those settings you know all right so let's go choose a oh here we go reach an unknown land after a long journey it's isolated safe hopefully it offer up a new resour enough resources okay let's build a main hall and I think we're going to do it um so is that like there like a cliff thing over here we'll probably start out where we where we are here this way we got some trees around we got some rocks around double rocks let's just like slap it down like right here there we go you were now the governor of this little Community it's been nearly a half century since the first solar flare the initial moments of the catastrophe we lost our entire technological infrastructure means of global sourcing and almost everything we can share as a civilization there's your backstory for what's going on here why is why is everything terrible um uh the following years uh were Humanity's darkest having to wrestle with constant impossibility and despair from battles fought with sticks and stones nuclear Wars civilization fell everyone here's born in this new world and you have to be their leader our current flimsy shelter can't carry as far we must rebuild everything from scratch ReDiscover lost knowledge um craft build um yeah we'll leave the tutor on it should it I don't think it it's not too handh holdy you know it's one of these where kind of just kind of gives me the idea of what direction we should be taking so we'll do this so well let's go get a uh um a field Camp over here and get get some things sced up we'll just set this thing kind of over here like that there we go and see what else we can do here there's a dusty road uh tab between oh yeah yeah I forgot about this one so we we can do the the Grid or we can we can shift over to the curvy roads most of the town I think works on like a grid system so it's kind of strange like it doesn't not really necessary to have a not grid based um we need lumber for the road okay well we Logan Logan can I give you a name no Logan's just Logan there's all resources up there we got logs and stone and so when I played before I'm trying to remember some things and it really gets into that like there's that production chain thing and I remember getting like beat down by um by sandstorms and things there's our development tree that we'll start learning some new stuff as time goes on here um and if I remember right we have like edicts and things that we put in here also don't forget to turn off the embarrassed this don't turn don't forget to turn off embarrass the streamer mode I don't I don't get it what does that mean I don't know where's the joke I'm missing something let's build that speaking of good good call I forget sometimes games I forgot to look at this okay sometimes they this one does have like do like that has little arrow things which I think was like not in the game before to show me like where to put you know where the front is I appreciate that I was like whenever you put buildings down and like the trees go tumbling down uh bring the necessary rainfall to replenish groundwater resources and fawn but they also represent obstacles yeah it's raining ah okay okay okay that's a handy to uh tip alt switches through those um production buildings building can only create one type of thing each time we want to go make sure we're making the law the those build over here why don't we start over here you know claim this as our home and then redesign fix it up a little bit make this our main base silly questions I know okay we want soup uh mushroom soup please and I want uh people working on this thing how we doing here we got 21 people or 39 people 21 people are working kind of reminds me of at least this building here reminds me of like the buildings in kenchi has that sort of post-apocalyptic um sheet metal you know and scrap kind of look to it I like it it's closely monitor Community situation needs morale levels and all related factors okay uh let's explore population management and where do we explore that at oh year one is over how do we do zero people died from disease disaster lack of water or food excellent four people joined us we had four Birds no significant events we had some babies uh where do we go for uh population management is that over here oh yeah there's other regions we can like trade with out there I going to eat so we're going to eat that means we're going to eat 18 a day instead of the 36 we were eating yeah that's perfect losing hope uh let see look conditions are about to consume us if we should strive to keep a close eye on people's morale we want to improve morale within a few days okay chief says since we can now process Metals you can give us the means to make tools of our own okay so me morale over 40 which is at 14 right now that means I'm going to give you more okay you can have more water there you go have have regular water that'll make you happy I can give you um medium tools I would like to give you more food but we're going to hold off a minute um and then we going to make a bunch of tools which it says that but we don't actually have the building yet long live the medium for right now morale is actually good right now maybe we should leave it alone there we got 22 tools give me some hunting I never made a Tavern that would certainly make people happier takes 55 don't have either of those so I'm not sure what the point of that why it gave me the ability to build a Tavern but I can't make those hope they like water uh we can now hunt so we want to we want then over at this place let's change this over to some meat fried meat making 86 of those per day yeah 86 of of both takes a little less meat though love to see a video game where you can run your own Craft Beer Brewery I think there is one of those isn't there one that just came out craft beer brewing game I think I think there is one of those why why why is everyone just standing there oh I see us this much so we can we can say no everything should be regulated and under control under our control or we can say people can exchange rations amongst themselves as they wish plus eight ra minus 5 Workforce to all classes I don't know what Workforce means I guess they're going to they're going to work a little slower I think that's what that's trying to say Merchant is here Foreigner wants to mines and kale yards oh man uh paper and veggies and pits and all that we know we're in no place to make access of Demands but this is a fundamental issue Community Health is deteriorating people need to wash their hands okay I'll see what I can do increase worker Health okay that's going to be a new a new problem um okay who something about this Tav now maybe what's the uh what's the tech that we can do here so vocational training gives us technical boot and paper which gives us Craftsman and Specialists cultivation needs needs that paper I think yeah everything's going to need that just faster that's that's kind of neat we bring all this stuff in we can do it with with all these zones build build a well okay we can get um a well bring water in that's cool one of these had a bunch of food which I think was the shoreline down here no Seaside I guess none of them going me food there's a a loading zone like a railway place for trains I we did see in the uh on the steam page there's there's trains this has a food spot but I don't know what to do with about the food that's cool is this bringing food in oh Hun's cabin okay what do you have do you have one of those this there still something here oh yeah I missed one cool anyway let's call it today thanks for hanging out we made it uh almost a year 341 days but of day years anyways this is new cycle it's out on the 18th little bit of an early look at it there um early as in just a few days though we be out here pretty soon and um and yeah so you can kind of see we didn't get to this point but you can see where the game eventually goes and that's with these with these conveyor belts we just we're just getting there and this whole conveyor system and and trains I want to see the [Music] trains I'm also curious about
