my impression of the holz. G660 chainsaw

well here we are we just got done doing it I just got done doing this unboxing over to DIY with Uncle sign this is the G 660 Pope's Pharma third-generation chainsaw just I just bought the I just got the this just put this part this bar comes off my Makita that i've got and this is the solid i want to mill with because it's seven horsepower instead of six horsepower or five and a half the plum Makita is so here's where i'm gonna break it in at at 25 to 1 on the oil ratio to the fuel for the simple fact is i'm gonna break it in with that because that's what it's recommended to use i'm not going to tune it up above what the factory already is set because i don't want to burn my saw i've seen some people that run 40 to 1 and they they tune it to the max and they're already rebuilding their saw I'm not going to do that I'm not gonna ruin my saw just to see how fast it will turn before I break it in this is the break-in period I've got one tank in it now I'm gonna turn around and I'm gonna cut up this with this for my break here and then for some of you people who do a drop start when I do mine I don't sit my chain break because you don't need to the RPMs is set high especially on a cold start like this you need to have the where the chain will spin so when you do a drops drop start make sure your clutch your brake is not on and it'll start with no problem here's the start of the break-in [Music] [Music] [Laughter] [Music] [Laughter] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Laughter] [Music] manic no to everybody okay now I know what you weigh - good bind is on it [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Laughter] [Music] [Laughter] [Music] learn right now I want to move this out of the way now that's how far that bars cutting here we go again [Music] all right first tank down two more to go i pre-mixed it already 225 warning [Music] [Music] yeah they sent me this I did the unboxing with the DIY with uncle side and because I know he wanted to see it I told him this is what I was getting and so we did it over there with him and now I'm over here doing the break-in see how I like it and I'm gonna tell you I'm impressed on this first tank first tank of gas through it and I am I am liking this saw really good it's lighter than my Makita I can handle that bar a lot better so yeah here I'm gonna run a second tank through it see you guys in a bit okay people this is a second okay that just went through the second tank here's the third tank going in and one thing I like to match you never tending this engine bogs down just saw bogs down it's due to me because I'm pushing too hard has nothing to do with this song this bar all the bogs are due to the operator getting overexcited and just pushing through I'm gonna have to turn the oiler up on this I don't think it's pushing enough oil out I don't know if I can turn whether it be the manual find out [Music] back at it okay I've put my three tanks throughout this is the log that I'm gonna be cutting it's 14 foot 6 inches long and it's a shingle oak 36 acrost at one end and 32 it the other now and this is the Alaska chainsaw mill from Granberg it's a 48 inch one I've got a 47 inch bar on it and that's what I'm gonna put on and put this on next on the next video okay I've put three tanks through this I've got my grand burg and there was another one thing I wanted to say too was as I I did a milling with DIY DIY with uncle side and when we did that milling with the 105 the cheap 105 chainsaw everybody suggested that I put a winch on here so now I have my winch and yes thank you for the comment I just hadn't figured out if I wanted one or not but yeah it works out a lot better as for the Holtz Pharma g6 60 yes I would recommend people to pick one up for just the first what I just cut yeah it's one heck of a song I'm really impressed with how it cuts for a seven horsepower motor but it's supposed to have yeah I really like it it's got more power than what I thought so you guys have a nice day and hope you liked it and hope you subscribe you guys have a nice day
