My FAVORITE Nintendo Switch Accessories in 2024! Cases, Controllers & More!

oh hey guys wow you're here early I was just getting the switch for the video must be pretty eager to see the accessories huh all righty well uh let's get into [Music] it all right guys so I don't know about you but I'm still Nintendo switch gamer to this day I love my switch and it has such an awesome game library to it and it's probably the gaming console with the most accessories we're talking screen protectors controllers SD cards docks cases bags and so much more well look I can't speak for every single accessory out there but I'm going to go over in this video my favorite Nintendo switch accessories and the ones I use regularly all right guys so one thing to note I do not have an OLED or switch light I'm using the regular Animal Crossing Nintendo switch but I will let you know if these accessories work with the OLED and the light which most of them honestly do one more thing guys I'm not even going to bother mentioning getting a temperglass screen or a Micro SD card for your switch those are Nob brainers and honestly you can go on Amazon and just find the best deal and pick up whichever one is there you'll be fine trust me I have a few here that I want to recommend starting with these sling bags by Tom tuck Tom tuck is a brand that makes Incredible everyday carry bags that also work perfectly with the Nintendo switch and these accessories this one is a standard white sling bag and this one is from their tomt XU line where you can use your virtual Workshop to design your own bag you can customize everything from the color to the fabric and even have your name written on the side as you can see this bag easily holds a Nintendo switch with joycons attached headphones a small Dock and even some cables this will definitely fit your switch light and OLED as well as those of either smaller or roughly the same size as a regular switch I'm obsessed with these bags and I wear them around almost everywhere this point made of codera ballistic nylon they're incredibly sturdy lightweight and water resistant with heavy duty durability they feature three compartments quick access front pocket for air pods in your wallet multiple internal pockets in warranty so I highly recommend picking one up for cases I use both the official hard case and Case by Nintendo this hard case is my main travel case for the Nintendo switch it's really everything that you need from a travel case it has a zip layer for plenty of accessories and cables you have a sleeve here that holds a ton of games and then the Nintendo switch itself sits right here when it's fully zipped up nothing is damaging anything inside it's very sturdy and everything inside is nice and snug so they're not shifting around everywhere now the slim case is just perfect for keeping my switching it at all times especially when I'm home or just keeping it in a backpack it's not very durable but it's portable and sometimes you just don't need that big bulky hard case all right I want to add in an honorable mention that I swear I had by I can't seem to find it anywhere that's Tom tug slim Nintendo switch case Tom tug slim case is the perfect blend of both products I just mentioned it's sturdy has a game cartrid sleeve and it's slim like the slim case so I'd recommend going to check that one out when it comes to a good grip case I use mumba's Nintendo switch case this thing is great it's super comfortable and you have so many different options for colors and themes like the Zelda one here another thing that's great about it is you can dock it without having to remove it thank you that's like probably the best feature out of all the accessories okay so this section is not technically for the Nintendo switch because you can use headphones and earbuds with other devices however the Nintendo switch is portable and you don't want to be blasting that weird Niche anime game that you're playing on a Nintendo switch on a plane for everyone to hear but here's what I use with my Nintendo switch when I'm traveling or I just want to absolutely lock in these are soundcore space one headphones and they're my go-to Bluetooth headphones for use on my switch when I'm traveling these headphones have superb noise cancellations so I can block out all the noise when I'm on a plane or in a car the space ones have even been improved to block out mid to high frequency sounds of two times more voice reduction these headphones will give you 40 hours of play time with the active voice cancellation on and 55 hours of continuous music with a ANC off basically these things sound amazing and you're not going to hear anyone else while you're listening to them they're also super comfortable with this top cushion here now let's say you don't like headphones you want to use a pair of earbuds when you're using your switch on the go well I use Razer Hammerheads bluetooth earbuds they feature immersive full range audio and higher frequency detail for dynamic Superior audio for on the-go gaming basically they sound really good too they also last up to 15 hours on a full charge and recharge quickly so you'll be just fine all right the section that most of you have been waiting for controllers I'll go over what I have here and then some honorable mentions of what I've seen online and in stores okay so the only Standalone controller that I own is this bad boy right here when I saw this in stores I must have instantly bought it I mean the GameCube holds so many memories for me it's my favorite game console Growing Up So to be able to recreate on Nintendo switch is priceless for me other than that I'm not sure there's much to be said about this thing this leads me in my favorite joy-con controller the Nixie wizard all right look what can I say I I like the GameCube okay the GameCube is the best gaming console to ever come out and if you disagree I'll delete your comment the Nixie wizard is amazing as you can see it's a bit larger than the power a GameCube controller and some of you are going to much prefer this it's probably more comfortable and better feeling than the power a controller as well the main thing that I like that it features are the hall effect joysticks so you never have to worry about it developing joystick drift you can even change out the joystick rings for different games racing games are played with round joystick circles whereas fighting games benefit from an octagon shaped joystick Circle it's also got mechanical triggers for lighter less resistant trigger PS they even added additional buttons around the back too now does this controller look absolutely insane in portable mode yes but trust me it's actually really comfortable and you can still play this for hours on end at least I could speaking of portable play style let's talk about the Nixie Hyperion Pro joycons these are fantastic they are Sleek comfortable and very lightweight plus they have RGB lights built in so they look pretty sweet I actually do prefer these for portable use just because the design is much more ergonomic for long gaming sessions in my opinion now what about switch controller cases well what I have here is the jc200 grip and it satisfies my need for a full-on switch grip it features a lot of the same things as the Nixie joycons dude such as the hall F effect joysticks RGB light lights and long battery life I honestly really like this grip and use it a lot more than I thought it would another thing that's awesome about is you can store up to four extra Nintendo switch cartridges in the back oh and it's got this felt material on it so when you slide the console into it you don't have to worry about it getting scratches or anything all right the last controller like accessories I keep around are joycon grips these are the basic Nintendo switch joycon grips and these are just great to have around I don't even remember where I got these from I'm pretty sure Amazon has them in a bundle or something uh if I find it I'll leave a link below these are great if you have friends over and you're playing something competitive like Super Smash Bros I like give my friends these because no one's getting my GameCube controller absolutely not all right in this last section I'm just going to go over some miscellaneous items that I have for my switch first are these Zelda thumbsticks and button covers I got these around the time tear of the Kingdom came out and I can't believe I never got them sooner these really help aid your switch experience on the normal joycons by adding some extra grip I know it sounds minimal but they really do make a difference they also look great same with the button covers finally this is the smallest Nintendo switch doc I've ever seen it's a simple plug with proper Outlets you need to plug your switch in and dock into a TV but it's the best option when traveling because you really don't want to be lugging around the regular old switch do and there you
