Multi- Species Day- Melvern Lake Trip 2- KBF

[Music] morning uh we are back out at melver Lake today I'm feeling pretty excited you know some days you just get that feeling it's going to be a good day now that I'm saying that I'm probably going to suck but you know it feels good nice weather ready to go learned a few things last week uh going to throw a lot of more finesse today uh just see how it goes so anyways let's go you good man yeah all right I'll meet you on the water m oh little walleye use that one it's super slick right there another baby walleye jeez Louise that thing's tiny oh sh well if our goal was to catch baby Walley we'd be killing it any luck thought I had something right there I think so there's a couple brush piles back here I'm going to go hit and then I'm going to start working out to the main l I think oh D baby Walley what color are you throwing I've got like a thousand Ned heads if you need one I hope I can catch something that's not a baby walleye oh biscuits it's a bad hook set sorry buddy all right we're going to switch over to the swim jig cuz we keep getting hung up this is the Mega bass it's called a udoo it uh combines an UND spinning a swim jig it's kind of cool are you me what the is going on how am I not Landing these fish a creppy my God that was close taking Mye out there you should always wear sunglasses while fishing that was a sweet skip come on reward me come on come [Music] on any more luck nice I've lost like three fish already I don't know what the heck's going on [Music] man I just can't stay hooked up today what is going on I don't understand are you Shing me what is happening I don't [Applause] understand I'll call my wife that'll get me a bite hey I haven't gotten any bass in the boat but I've CAU in some other stuff but yeah it's weird it's like weird oh I said let me call my wife and I'll get one in the boat [Music] it's a walleye happy to be of service for Real Every time I call you seems like I get a bite still not a bass but it's something but it's a fish finally man this is a strong fish nice little SMY okay finally we got something in the boat it's a right species I think I've had a few hook today but just I don't know I'll review the tape and see what's going on that is one thing I really like about uh filming is that I can go back and look at what triggered that bass or what you know in this instance if I'm doing something wrong with my mechanics but uh I do feel like it makes me a better fisherman cuz a lot of times when you catch a fish and you're trying to think how did I trigger that bite a lot of times you actually did something different than what you think you did you know film don't lie and the crapp is l love this thing it's probably the third crappie I've caught on it for there we go yeah oh that's a good one think hard yeah that was great 15 and a half oh 15 and A2 that was a good one sweet [Music] all right let's see if I can pick one up at a boat ramp here breaks our dry spill I think I'm going to tell her to just mark it and go for it because well and I just think the more more talk or like are you ready like the worst you know yes so I'm on all right by dang it little [Music] walleye oh yeah yes all right another 15 [Music] well that's it for today uh successful day I would say didn't fish very clean I think I could have had five bass if if I wouldn't have uh been so sloppy in the morning I'm not sure why I was losing so many fish but it happened you know it was still fun at least I was still getting bites that Lake definitely has a lot of uh walleye and and soer you know they're fun to catch it's just really want to catch bass but you know Beggars can't be choosers I guess so I think we ended up with three bass two 15s and a 13 need to be better about you know fishing for small mouth instead of you know I see flooded cover and wood up Shallow and I just can't help myself I just want to go you know flip a Texas rager jig in there and uh doesn't seem to work at that leg very well got one or two out of the you know those little Buck bushes in the morning but uh definitely probably not the uh most efficient strategy to to catch bass up there anyways thanks for watching
