♫ ♫ MUSIC PLAYING ♫ ♫ Becca: We are off. We're ready to go on vacation. Michael: What's going on up there? Becca: I'm checking. Michael: Something's clacking. It's probably these straps right here I bet. Michael: There's some straps that are clacking a bit. Just clacking in the wind. Everything else looks pretty good. Michael: You did a good job. You want to drive on top? Becca: Yeah! Michael: All right, let's go. Michael: Was it fun on top of the car? Ryan: So we're on our way to go to whatever we're going. Ryan: Becca's in the store and Jessica's in the store and they have Corbin and James. Ryan: But I just had to come show you this because I noticed it as we were getting parking out here waiting for that. Ryan: It's a bear. Ryan: It's in somebody's truck, but it's so cool. Awesome. Ryan: Hi. You got the goods? Ryan: Water?! Orange squeeze. Corbin: And we got apple juice. Corbin: In little cups. Ryan: Sweet. Well, let's get ready to go. Howdy everybody. Becca: Hold tight. We can make it. Ryan: We'll make it, we'll make it. Hold tight everybody. Ryan: Hey, what do you think you're doing you? Ryan: You have spinners in your eyes. Becca: I am hypnotized. Becca: ♫ ♫ (Drops of Jupiter - Train) ♫ ♫ Becca: ♫ ♫ (Big Rock Candy Mountain) ♫ ♫ Michael: So that is the big rock candy mountain in case you guys are wondering. Becca: Why is it so different than all the other mountains around it? Ryan: Because ice cream fell on it. Becca: ♫ ♫ (Big Rock Candy Mountain) ♫ ♫ Becca: Ready? Becca: Good job. Becca: Was that fun? Ryan: Oh no, it's a first time for everything huh? Ryan: Yeah, think you can do it? Ryan: Yeah, it's interesting seeing Charlie do this so just a little teeny bit earlier, Charlie stepped on this for the first time. Ryan: We're just at a rest stop right now, but he he was afraid to walk. Ryan: Because of...look at this! Look at this. Ryan: Cause of the holes in it. Ryan: I think he likes it. Ryan: I think Charlie is concerned about crossing the bridge. Ryan: By his lonesome. You can do it! I believe in you but be safe. Ryan: Hey! Don't do that on purpose. It'll make him scared. Ryan: He made it back safely. Ryan: Well, yeah. You okay there? Ryan: Is it kinda scary? Ryan: He's hold on so tight. Ryan: Look at that hand. Ryan: ♫ ♫ You push me higher when I am on the swing set. ♫ ♫ Ryan: Not my glasses! Ryan: Charlie. Where did they go? Becca: There's caves all over. Michael: Is this it? Becca: That's it! That's it! Michael: There's a little park here. Michael: They have a statue there. Like a totem. Becca: We found it. Becca: Dude, It's like right on the side of the road. Michael: This is the place from the documentary that we were telling you guys about with Montezuma's treasure. Michael: This is the place that all the divers would dive. Becca: Oh are we not supposed to go past this point? Becca: Yeah, we'll go on the road. That's so crazy. It's weird till I could see it in person after looking at it so much in the documentary. Michael: So this is lake that has the snails, that are endangered snails. Becca: If you guys go on YouTube and type in the gold of Montezuma. Becca: It feels weird saying that right here for some reason. Michael: Apparently this whole mountainside is filled with treasure. Like, up underneath Michael: Inside up. Michael: Inside this mountain. Becca: That's a real like it's all over YouTube if you check it and that's where all of the divers would go down Michael: Yeah, according to the documentary we watched that's where it all happens. Becca: In the water. And then they wouldn't come back up. Michael: Because all their electronics is break Becca: And then they went up to the very top and just decided to drill down and they got into it and then the person that Becca: Drilled down into it died from a heart attack that night. So that's pretty crazy Becca: This really nice grass. Becca: you having fun? Becca: Okay, this is where we're gonna be staying and look at how amazing it is. Check out this. Becca: Check it out. This is like made from an old bag but it's super comfy and it's so cute. Becca: The lights, I love it. Are you excited to be here mom? I am excited. Becca: Cool. A whole bunch of old movies were made here. Becca: It's so awesome. Look at how cute this whole room is. It's adorable. Old projector. Becca: I love this, I'm so excited. Look at how cute this kitchen is. It's so adorable Becca: Hey Michael, which room are we gonna get? We're gonna get that. Oh, this one's so cool. Becca: I've already been thinking about all of the cool hide-and-seek places we can hide. Becca: I'm gonna win. Becca: This one's ours, huh? Becca: Awesome, it looks so nice. So pretty. Becca: Love it. Michael: So this little house belongs to some friends of ours John and Sherene McClellan. Michael: It's called the Western Stars in Kanab, Utah. Michael: And we are down here to do some treasure hunting and to vacation and have some fun too. If you guys didn't know. already Michael: That's why we're here. We're here to try to see if we can find some treasure. I'm not sure what we're gonna find. Michael: I really have no idea what to expect from this trip, but we're gonna be over for a couple days. Michael: We're gonna be going to Lake Powell. We're gonna be going to the Grand Canyon. Michael: We're just gonna have a lot of fun and maybe we'll find some really cool clues or or a treasure. I don't know yet. Michael: But Sherene and John were kind enough to let us come and stay here. It's got two rooms and two bathrooms. Michael: It's really not meant for families with small kids, but it's perfect for adventuring couples or older couples Michael: That just want to come on vacation because there's a lot of fun things to see and do here in Kanab and I'm really really excited for our stay here. Michael: I'll have a link in the description below if you want to see where you can find this place on Airbnb to book your own stay. Michael: It's a gorgeous day today guys. Michael: It's a beautiful, beautiful morning. Up bright and early trying to get some breakfast for the fam. Michael: We didn't bring any food with us when we came down here. Figured we just go shopping once we got here. So I'm here at Honey's Marketplace. Michael: I'm gonna get everybody some breakfast. Michael: This is awesome. Everybody is really really nice here. Michael: Okay, today's gonna be really really fun. I'm making sandwiches right now. Michael: The kids are just watching the show and we're gonna be heading to Lake Powell today. Michael: So I've never been to Lake Powell but ever since I've been in Utah, so for the last eleven years. Michael: I've heard good things about Lake Powell's. I'm really really excited to be able to go for the first time today. Michael: I'm making sandwiches for all the kids. We're just getting lunch ready. Michael: Rebecca and her mom and Jessica and Ryan all left to go grab a couple things from the store and then we're gonna take off. Michael: Charlie's taking a quick nap, and hopefully we'll be able to have a lot of fun today. ♫ ♫ MUSIC PLAYING ♫ ♫ Michael: Okay guys, it's lunch time. Michael: There you go. Ellie: Thank you Dad. Michael: You're welcome sweetie. This is the true way to make fidget spinners spin. Michael: Are you guys ready to go? Michael: Let's go to Lake Powell guys. Let's go playing. Let's go swimming. We're starting a fun adventure. Jessica, Where are we? Jessica: Arizona. Michael: Have you ever been to Arizona? Jessica: No, first time being out of the state. Michael: This is the first time you left Utah? Ryan: Are you sure? I don't know about that because you've been out of the state. Michael: Hey Charlie, where are we? We're at Glen Canyon Dam right now in northern Arizona just barely past the border of Utah. Michael: You can see a little bit from here, but I want to go out on that bridge and take a look. But look at this guys. Real dinosaur tracks. Michael: That's pretty cool. This is awesome guys. Check it out. Michael: That's so cool, I'll give you a better angle. Michael: The big trucks go by on this bridge I can feel the bridge shake a little bit. It's a really weird feeling. Is that cool? Michael: That's really far down, huh? Look at how much water is being held up. Michael: All that water is being held up by this big wall of concrete. Michael: Do you know what this means? Michael: Okay. So, do you know what this means? This is what a dam does. Okay. Look, Corbin this is pretend like this is the dam Michael: Water is flowing through the dam, and it's spinning this turbine. Michael: And when this spins, it creates electricity. Michael: Is that cool? Corbin: Yeah. Does it go into there? Michael: Yep, and then this is where it empties back out. So come here Corbin. And the electricity is coming out right there. Michael: It's going up these wires. Michael: All the way up to there so the water pressure is so great over here. Michael: That it's actually forcing water through the cracks in the rocks. Michael: And seeping, the water is seeping through the rocks down here on this side of the dam. This is cool. It's got some some old artifacts. Michael: On display here. What do you think of this place, huh? Ryan: It's really cool actually. Ryan: I was just looking at a lot of the things over there too. Michael: This whole Visitor Center is really really awesome. Michael: Here's another dinosaur track. Michael: Corbin was asking me where the power goes. Michael: Five million customers across seven states. Jessica, the power generated from this Michael: Goes to seven different states. Five million people with power because of this. Michael: It's a real animal, it's alive. I saw I saw you talking. Michael: My name is Mister Goat. Michael: How are you? Becca: Things like that are always a lot of fun and enjoyable to an extent when you have a toddler. Becca: So there are certain times where I feel like if you tell Charlie no. Becca: He just like looks at you and he can tell that I would rather run free is what goes through his mind and now all Becca: Of a sudden he just goes crazy running all over the place and like yelling. Becca: And trying to get away from you. Like it's a giant game. That's what it was like today. Michael: It's just a big challenge. Becca: It is. Michael: When you say no he's like I'll show you. Becca: Some places he just gets this look in his eye and it's almost like he's testing you to see if you're gonna discipline him in public or not. Michael: Kids are smarter than you give em credit for. That's all I have to say. Becca: It's so hard. But we still had fun, I think. It was fun. Becca: That is pretty cool. Michael: We where walking on this bridge and you can feel the bridge rocking and like moving, vibrating when big cars go by. Becca: That "P" is for petroglyphs. Michael: Someone peed on the rock. Ryan: So we're at a scenic stop. Michael: This is Horseshoe Bend. It's gonna be really cool. I'm excited. Ryan: We're going to look over this really really beautiful area that has big canyons real quick. Ryan: Right now, it's super hot. One of the signs over there said use extreme caution, extreme heat. Ryan: Wear good shoes and also to have water with you. Jessica: Can you take the heat? Ryan: I don't know, can you? Jessica: Yeah. Ryan: Okay, let's go. It's a hike, but we'll make it. Michael: Now you know why people in the desert with no water die so fast. Michael: Cause it is hot! You don't realize just how bad it is until you're out here walking in it. Jessica: Water! Ryan: We're coming up over the hill now. Kind of hard to see on camera, but it is very very pretty. Michael: I know I've been playing too much Breath of the Wild when I see this sandy hill going down. Michael: And all I want to do is grab my shield, jump on it and slide downhill. Ryan: It's true. Yeah, it's a little bit farther than we thought. ♫ ♫ MUSIC PLAYING ♫ ♫ Michael: Let's go dude. Check it out. ♫ ♫ MUSIC PLAYING ♫ ♫ Michael: Is that awesome? ♫ ♫ MUSIC PLAYING ♫ ♫ Michael: I'm holding on to you cause I don't want you to fall. Ryan: Look how beautiful this is. Ryan: We're on the edge of a very high cliff. This is called the Horseshoe Bend I think or something. Ryan: I don't want to get in too close to the edge because it'll be dangerous. Ryan: But we're about five feet away from the edge maybe. Ryan: It is hot but absolutely stunning, beautiful. Michael: The kids are all playing in the water right now. Michael: Swimming Michael: Hi Corbin. You having fun? Corbin: Yeah. Michael: There's a whole bunch of these pokies in the water. Michael: I'm sorry if it's really really windy. This is my first time in Lake Powell. Michael: I wasn't really sure what to expect so I can't say if it meets my expectations or not Michael: But it's still pretty cool. Either way. Jessica: This is what's going on with them. He's burying James in the sand. Ryan: It's like a post, but it was buried. It was just the top of it. Jessica: Now James can't get out. Becca: It has been a beautiful day here at Lake Powell. Becca: But I think it's coming to a close. Ellie is starting to get like a freezing cold baby that it's frozen solid. Becca: She's a giant ice cube now. Hi Ellie. Becca: Ryan's digging a great big hole. Becca: What is it? Becca: There's thorns everywhere. James: What if it's part to this treasure hunt? Michael: Wait, that was in the hole? James: Yeah! Becca: Show it to Corbin. Becca: Ryan, did you see it yet? Becca: It's XO love you. Just kidding. Ryan: Oh no no. That has a little head on it. Ryan: That is a guy. Becca: That's cool. Ryan: A circle within a circle. Ryan: What's really interesting to me is the line with a triangle chest. I believe that meant a warrior. Ryan: But this is an interesting thing to me, a circle within a circle actually does mean gold. Ryan: I believe, I'm pretty sure. Becca: We should go to the library and check it out tomorrow. Michael: We're leaving Lake Powell. We want to go find out more about this really cool tablet that we found. Michael: I heard that Lake Powell like, if you were to drain the lake you'd probably see petroglyphs along inside of Lake Powell. Becca: So it's really interesting that we were able to find that plus I think Becca: Down here like we went to the library of where we were at. There wasn't very much stuff on like petroglyph type stuff. Becca: But I bet down here there would be because it's like part of their history. Becca: So I think tomorrow, because I'm pretty sure the library is closed. Becca: Do that again. Becca: All right, we'll give you a five-second head start. Becca: Ready, go! Michael: As we were getting to leave, Ryan was like, I'm gonna race you guys there. I could beat you. I bet I could beat you. Michael: Check out the handsome man! Becca: So we're gonna try and go to the library tomorrow and maybe figure out some more about what we just found. Becca: Maybe ask some people around and see if they know anything about like what that type of petroglyphs mean. Becca: We gotta go. It's bedtime and dinnertime. Becca: We finally are getting on the road. It took forever, but Charlie got a nap so I'm really really happy about that. Becca: It'll make the whole day a lot easier. Becca: We are planning on going to the Grand Canyon today Becca: But, we want to go to the library first and figure out Becca: Anything we can about the stone that we found. Guess what happened with the stone? Everybody left Becca: We were getting...the kids were cranky and we got them in the car Becca: I went back to grab everything that was left including the stone. Becca: And could not find the stone. It was gone. I know that some of the people around us Becca: Were really interested in what we were kind of doing, but I don't know. Becca: I don't want to like blame them or anything, but we got a picture of it. Becca: So we're going to take a picture to the library and see what we can find about it. ♫ ♫ MUSIC PLAYING ♫ ♫ Michael: I think we're gonna try to find the oldest books that we can find here. Just maybe we can find something. Michael: There's a book sale. Maybe we'll get lucky and find something on the books and spend some books about petroglyphs. Becca's Mom: Find the ones that we saw. Jessica: That's kinda like it. Becca: Does it say what it means or anything? Becca: We're looking at the special collections. Michael: In the beginning, Alvin Judd was skeptical about the treasure, but now he feels that it's there. Becca: Was this one suppose to have stuff in it too? Michael: Face off of the map of what he had. It's got the six mountains. Michael: The seven mountains and then the treasure marked on that one. Becca: Wow, that's interesting. Michael: Here's some of the caves that they were looking around in. Michael: Oh! It's exactly the same picture. Michael: In the beginning Alvin Judd was skeptical about the treasure, but now he feels that it's there. Michael: Somewhere in this vicinity lies hidden one of the world's most fabulous hordes. Will it ever be found? Michael: It is the first time that I've ever been in the library, and I'm like really really researching something. Michael: Now I'm like, oh I'm learning so much. Becca: Yeah. So the librarian here in Kanab was kind enough to let us look at the special collections. Michael: Secret collection of awesome really good articles. Becca: It is crazy amazing that we're even able to look at all this stuff. Michael: We found this book. This is like one of the oldest books that they have available for sale and we found a secret note in the back signed F. Crystal. Michael: I think that's probably Freddy Crystal. It says Alvin, you've been the best friend Michael: I had these past years. You know, the whole downtown is trying to Lynch me since they think I found the promised gold. Michael: I figure it's best for the whole Judd family if I made myself scarce and stayed out of sight. I also asked Maggie to drop Michael: This book in the corn basket. Knowing you'd get it and find my note. Michael: I'm leaving a trail for you so we can meet up and I can show you what I found. Michael: Remember the old picture panel I showed you back at the farm? Dig next to the Thunderbird at the base of the panel. Michael: And look for these. We both know what the bulls eye means. Michael: But I learnt that the warrior on the right is a warning. They call it a death warrior so be real careful. Michael: We both been seeing some strange things knowing this treasure is cursed. Michael: Can you believe that? Becca's Mom: It was for sale. Becca: We better just buy it and not tell anybody that what it has in it. Becca: Since we found that book we're gonna buy it. Becca: We're gonna bring it with us and we've been doing a lot of research. Becca: But we're gonna continue to think about this today. Becca: We had planned to go to the Grand Canyon with the kids and we don't want to like break our promise Becca: So we're gonna bring them today. Becca: And go to the Grand Canyon and then tomorrow I think we're gonna really work on this and see what we can figure out. Michael: What we can figure out. Well that today while we're driving we can be Michael: Researching and looking at cause we took all all the pictures of the notes and all these books that we found. Michael: I wish we could just read them all right now. Michael: But we need to get going we're gonna be doing some research during the drive and hopefully we'll be able to find out what that Michael: Thunderbird means and find a note. Michael: I really want to know. I really want to know what this is. Michael: Remember the picture panel I showed you back at the farm. Becca: We could just ask somebody in town. Becca: Or ask around and just see like if anybody knows picture panel. Like, we can look that up. Becca: So Corbin is not feeling well. Becca: He's been having actually like hay fever or an allergic reaction somewhat similar to like asthma. Becca: And he's really struggling right now. So, Becca: We're just gonna try and figure out what we can do to help him out because he's not really getting better. Becca: Okay, so it's become more serious than Becca: Than we thought, and we're just trying to make sure that we take care of Corbin. So we're going to the hospital. Becca: Michael's gonna drop me off and Corbin. Becca: Corbin's head is hurting, he's coughing so much. Becca: That he says he can't breathe and that he isn't even able to talk cause there's no space in between his coughing. Becca: So we went to the pharmacy to talk to the pharmacist because we actually gave him Becca: Nasal spray and albuterol. I looked it up online and it said there was maybe gonna be some kind of a heart Becca: Interaction, but while we were there, he said there was going to be no interaction. No drug interaction between those two drugs, but Becca: That Corbin needs to go to the hospital. He was coughing so hard in there that he threw up just because Becca: He's coughing constantly. So we're just gonna go to the hospital. Becca: Take care of him. Make sure he's okay. Woman: It's kind of uncomfortable. Becca: You just lets the oxygen go in your nose that you need so you can breathe better. Becca: After the breathing treatment, he just did the breathing treatment. Becca: His lungs sounded much much better. And you're feeling a lot better than before, huh? Corbin: Yes I am. Becca: Good and we love you. Corbin: The doctor put this on me so I can breathe. Becca: Does it feel better? Becca: Do you think you're able to breathe better because of it? Corbin: This feels weird. Corbin: Well, I got poked something. Corbin: Poked into here. This is something that air goes into my nose. Becca: That's how we all feel right now. Michael: So Corbin got a steroid shot and a whole bunch of medicine and an oxygen tank Becca: And we have to do that again in about like an hour and half or so. Michael: And we're just going to be have to take it easy. So that he can get better. Becca: They said Corbin's vacation is over. No more hiking, no more playing. He needs to rest. Ryan: We're not going to Grand Canyon? Michael: No, definitely not. Becca's Mom: They literally said he was this close to putting in the hospital. Becca: They basically sent us home with everything that they would have done in the hospital. Becca's Mom: It's amazing that we even got in to the doctor. Becca: The girl was like, first we walked into the emergency room. Becca: And then we said is there any kind of walk-in clinic cause we don't have a ton of cash right now and they were like, Becca: We don't have a walk-in clinic, but there's kind of a clinic over there and she's like, good luck. Becca: You don't get in without an appointment and we were like, okay. Becca: So we walked over there. And we were like, is there any way that we can have him be seen and she was like Becca: Do you have an appointment and we were like no and she was like well Becca: Usually we don't take anybody without appointments and I was just like, is there any way, she's like well Becca: Let me check with the doctors. And then I explained what was happening with Corbin and she's like, okay. Becca: And then she went out and checked with the doctors. Becca: And one of them was like, no. I'm leaving. And he left and the other one was like she cause it was like... Michael: Cause it was the end of the day they were almost closed. Becca: The very last appointment and she was like, Becca: It's my decision to either choose to let him be seen or not. All I have to do is put him on the schedule. Michael: Keep breathing that good job Corbin. Okay. So with all of the craziness around Corbin not feeling good and being really really sick Michael: He's doing a lot better right now. Michael: And just so you guys know this is something that we've been dealing with with him his whole life. Michael: He's had issues every now and then flare up. I know that he's gonna be okay. Michael: I'm not worried about him. Now that we've got the right medicine. Becca: Yeah, he just needed a breathing treatment. Becca: He needed a nebulizer and sometimes it's like the higher powered version of like an inhaler. Becca: And the inhaler didn't work. Michael: Yep, so he's gonna be great. Michael: I just want to let you guys know he's doing a lot better and that makes this really really happy. Michael: But with all the excitement I didn't have a chance to show Ryan and James what we found when we went to the library. Michael: We found this at the library and you guys have to see it because it's a really cool. Becca: This book and it might not look that special but the thing about it is it's really really old. And look at this. Michael: It has a special note. Michael: That book is over a hundred years old. I think it's from 1875 Ryan: Remember the old picture panel I showed you back at the farm. Dig next to the Ryan: Thunderbird at the base of the panel and look for these. Ryan: Where did you find this? Because this has the same symbols. Michael: It was in the library. Ryan: This has the same symbol. Ryan: Except it's not how the heads upside down on this one. Michael: Or maybe we were holding it upside down Michael: We don't know the proper orientation of the rock. Ryan: I can't help but think and kind of that Ryan: We just barely got this from the library. And as you're in there, that's when Corbin started having the problems. Ryan: And we had to go to the hospital. Michael: That's right. Ryan: So be real careful. Ryan: We both been seeing some strange things knowing this treasure is cursed. Ryan: This is stupid! Ryan: What do you think? James: Since Corbin's like getting sick a lot ,I think that curse is making him get sick a lot. Becca: It seems like everything that we've been reading about it Becca: Everything is like once you start looking for this treasure. Everything goes wrong.. Becca's Mom: I mean one guy had a heart attack. Ryan: That was the day after it. Michael: After he saw the treasure. Michael: Well guys, we've thought long and hard about what to do about this cursed treasure. Michael: We feel like even though we've run into some adversities. We still feel like we're meant to find something because we found Michael: The stone tablet and the book in the library and we just feel like we're being led. Michael: And we've decided that we're gonna get up really early and just a few of us are gonna go out Michael: And try to see what we can find. Michael: We've got a pretty good idea of where we're gonna try to look tomorrow morning, but we're gonna leave the kids at the house. Michael: So that they can take it easy and rest and especially Corbin can just take it easy. I know he's gonna be fine. Michael: He's sleeping well. He hasn't had any problems ever since we've been back from the hospital. So I know he's gonna be okay. Michael: But I just wanted to give you guys a heads-up. Kind of where things are at wrapping up today's vlog. Michael: This is way more exciting of an adventure than we had even anticipated and we'll just have to see how things go tomorrow. Michael: Thanks for being part of the adventure and we'll see you tomorrow. Becca: So what we figured out is there's a certain place called bike pioneer billboard or something like that Becca: From what we figured out, it matches these symbols in the book. Becca: At the grocery store, all we had to do is show them it and he was like, oh that's over here. So we're like, okay. Becca: So that's where we're going and hopefully we can find something. This whole area is so exciting. Becca: Like, we've been crawling around a little bit just kind of like exploring in a couple different places, but there's caves everywhere. Becca: I want to explore every little inch of like the whole mountainside, you know, it so exciting. Look, check it out. Becca: They're all over the place. Michael: On both sides too. Becca: On both sides, yeah. I don't think anybody could ever find Becca: Everything that I'm sure is here. Okay. So this says on the right, pioneer billboard and Indian writing. Michael: We've been doing a lot of research as Becca was saying. From everything that we've read and heard it sounds like this place Michael: This is up Johnston Canyon several miles. It sounds like this is the place where they have a lot of petroglyphs that may match Michael: What we found here in the secret note that Freddy Crystal left for Alvin Judd. Michael: So we're gonna come and try to see if we can find something. There's a whole bunch of writings on the cliffs guys. Wow! Michael: I'm just worried there might be snakes and stuff up here. So be careful where you step Michael: There is a swirl right there. Michael: And look, there's a man. Michael: That matches. I wonder if there's something here. Look at this. There's like animals with antlers. Michael: Those are probably deer. But it looks like some other people have come and written on this walls too. Hey, there's more stuff out there, too. I'm gonna go check that out. Michael: Yeah, listen closely for rattles. Cause if you hear rattling we gotta get out. ♫ ♫ MUSIC PLAYING ♫ ♫ Becca: That is one of the Judd family. Michael: And look, here's another one Orville Judd. Oh and Henry Judd is out underneath it. Michael: I think this camera somehow makes these petroglyphs appear more contrasted. Yeah. There's a whole bunch more up there too. Michael: That's like a bear or something. There's so much writing on this wall and it's like all mingled with petroglyphs. Michael: 1895 there's like Indian petroglyphs and then modern words. Michael: 1879, that's old carving. So what does the book say we're supposed to look for? Becca: It says, remember the old picture panel back at the farm? Becca: Dig next to the Thunderbird at the base of the panel and look for these symbols. Michael: So we found these symbols now we need to dig under the Thunderbird? Let's go try to see if we can find... Becca: We both know what the bulls eye mean. But I learned that the warrior on the right is a warning. They call it a death warrior. So be real careful. Becca: We both been seeing some strange things knowing this treasure is cursed. Okay let's go back to it and dig. Michael: Shoes are going to be filled with sand by the end of the day I think. Ryan: It bit me! It bit me! James: He caught the lizard. Michael: I wanna see. Ryan: It bit me but then it let go. Becca: That's not a normal kind from where were at. Michael: Are you gonna die Ryan? Michael: Okay, that has the circle and the man what does the clue say something about a Thunderbird? Michael: You're talking about that man? Michael: It's probably long gone whatever it was. Did it say specifically what we're looking for? Or did it just say to dig? Becca: Look at that! James: A locket! A locket! Michael: Everything echoes in this canyon. Becca: Push on the top of it. James: A note! Michael: I want to read it. Does it say anything on the watch? Becca's Mom: It says FC. Becca: Freddy Crystal! Freddy Crystal! Michael: No way! I bet he never got the note. Alvin was supposed to get this note remember? Becca: Well, the thing is. If Alvin would have gotten it, it probably would be like in his family we wouldn't have found it at the library. Michael: That means he never got the note. Michael: What does this say? Michael: Okay, that sounds good. Becca: Okay. Ready ready? Michael: Yeah, what does it say? Becca: Ready Freddie Crystal? The place we've been digging all these years ain't right and I found out that the Aztec Becca: Musta used it for a holding place till they got the real place ready. Becca: I left a copy of the real map for you in Oscars barn near the rafters I hid the most important part behind the map. Becca: Let's go try to see if we can find something about Oscars barn. James: I think I know where it is! Michael: Where? James: It's a couple miles down the road. Michael: Well, let's go see. Becca: Yeah, there is a barn. An old barn that's like on the historic maps of this area. Michael: Okay, let's go check it out. Becca: On this historic site thing, Ryan: You realize how long ago this was right? Becca: Look look look. It says on the right Pioneer farm and equipment. I want to take a look at that. I think we should go there Becca's Mom: Oscar Robinson was where he lived. He lived with Oscar Robinson Becca's Mom: The lady I talked to this morning said that there's a house they were building just Becca's Mom:Several years back in this area and you drive across this valley and she said on the west side over here somewhere Becca's Mom:There's a hot new house when they were building they found up on the hillside Becca's Mom:This giant stone that has a hole in it with a line in it. And she said they call it the sacrificial stone and they killed people on it. Becca: Wait where? There's an old barn right here too. Check out that one. Michael: We found this barn here, old guy was like sure. Yeah, you can go take a look. So we're just gonna see Michael: What we can see. From what we read on the books that we were reading, this whole area right here is where Michael: Freddie Crystal was staying. This could be it. Is there a marker? Becca: It looks like it was put upside down. Like this board was used for something else. Michael: Interesting. Michael: Some markings on it. Michael: Reread what the note says real fast. Becca: Left a copy of the map for you in Oscars barn near the rafters. I hid the most important part behind the map. Michael: Yeah, there's some new sheeting. Ryan: We're gonna start looking up near the rafters up here. Here, I'm gonna go up there a little bit and just look around. Ryan: You know, thinking about it a guy could easily get up here. Michael: Oh wow. Ryan is good at climbing. There's the bugs nest up there. Michael: It's a hummingbird. Michael: It's so fast, it's hard to keep up with it. That's pretty cool though. Michael: Ryan, you're really high up. Michael: This is an old barn. This might not even be the right barn. Michael: It might be another...it might be a different barn over there. We don't even know. James: It's the barn I think but since we saw this one, it might not have been this one. But I think there's a small one that's about... Michael: You see what? Ryan: I see some metal in it, but it's shiny, it's different. Michael: In that little square? Michael: What is it? Ryan: It's a little picture frame. Michael: Is it the map? Ryan: I'm gonna drop this. Catch it. Don't break it. It has glass in it. Becca: That is the map. That's his map that he used. Michael: I read it. Is that a bird or a duck? Ryan: That it wasn't in the place that he thought it'd be. Becca: It was an ancient marsh. Ryan: So this isn't...it's a picture, but it's not the right place. Michael: Oh, but didn't he say there was something behind it in the clue? Becca: Yes, he did. Becca: Oh my goodness. Michael: James, can you read? Michael: Then let somebody else read it. Ryan: I'm still intrigued. I wasn't gonna climb up there, but then that hummingbird actually was flying right next to that spot. Michael: And it just kept hovering there. Michael: I wanna read the note. Becca: My hunt took me to the wind caves over by the old Moqui tunnel and ruins. There ain't nothing left there. Becca: But if you can get up to the caves, climb on in and keep to the left. At the back of the cave I felt a little tin. Michael: I left a little tin. Becca: I left a little tin with some old Aztec jewelry. Becca: And I found be real careful. Think somebody is following me. Whoa. Michael: We passed the Moqui cave on the way over here. Let's go to Moqui cave guys. Becca: Alright, we're headed to the Moqui caves or the wind caves by the Moqui caves? Michael: Well, we're gonna go to Moqui and start looking for some caves and tunnels because that's what the note said. Becca: Okay, so we're just gonna head that way and we'll see what we can find. ♫ ♫ MUSIC PLAYING ♫ ♫ Becca: Yesterday in our research at the library we were reading and it said that Montezuma's treasure in 1949? Becca: In 1949, estimated value of it is ten million dollars. Ryan: You realize we might be just chasing another ghost thing because that one guy Freddie Crystal. Did he ever even find the treasure? Becca's Mom: We don't know. Because he disappeared. So if I found a treasure I disappear. Becca's Mom: But then again, the city was mad at him they could have all got lynched him. We don't know. Ryan: Well, that's what he said. So we might just be chasing nothing. Ryan: But it's still cool. Becca: We're here. ♫ ♫ MUSIC PLAYING ♫ ♫ James: Look at all these blood marks. Michael: That does look like blood. But I don't think it is. Michael: There also might be like minerals or something in the rocks that this make it look like this color. I don't know. Michael: So this is Moqui cave right here. Michael: But the clue said we need to look for some sand caves some and on the way right here just literally around the corner Michael: There's some caves we're gonna go check out and see what we can find over there. Ryan: Moqui caves is just right up there and we have the note right here Ryan: My hunch took me to the wind caves over by the old Moqui tunnel. That's where the old Moqui tunnel is right over there. Ryan: There ain't nothing left there. Ryan: But if you can get up to the caves, climb in on in and keep to the left at the back of the cave. Ryan: I left a little tin with some old Aztec jewelry. Be real careful. I think somebody is following me. Ryan: Well, I don't think we have to be worried about somebody following us. Becca: Okay. Well, let's start getting up. there Becca: Michael's gonna use the drone and see if he can get up there and see what we're where we need to go. Becca: Before we go. James: Every time I check on it. it always moves a bit. Becca: Alright, let's get hiking. Michael: Let me go see if I can find something. ♫ ♫ MUSIC PLAYING ♫ ♫ Ryan: Oh this is so cool! Oh yeah. This is like a house or something. Ryan: Whoa, this is so awesome. Ryan: Oh there's like cool symbol thing. Oh guys look at this! How cool! Ryan: Oh that's interesting. Ryan: Looks like some people been in here before. Ryan: Holy cow. I can't even see in here. So dark. James: Guys, I want to show you why I can climb through. Becca: Wait, I want to go on the other side. You stay there. I'll be right back. Becca: Wow. Becca: This is just a big kids playground. Oh that makes me nervous, don't come over here. Too nervous. Michael: I just lost control of the drone. Michael: Did you see me struggle with it? Michael: Yeah well, that's because when I take it out of the sky and I bring it into the tunnel, it loses GPS positioning. Michael: So it's strictly visual only and it doesn't know where it is anymore. So it could easily bump into a wall. Michael: If I wasn't as good as playing with this drone as I am, it probably would have hit you or me or the wall. Becca: Did you just land it as quick as you could? Michael: Yeah, I'm not gonna fight anymore. Michael: I feel like this is definitely the right place. Becca: James, you have to stay by me. Becca: I'm so afraid I'm so afraid of you getting hurt. This is a real cliff. Oh that makes me nervous. Becca: I'm filming but I'm really nervous having him this close. It's like making me so...sit down sit down. I'll feel better. Okay I feel better. Michael: So this definitely the right place. Becca: I do too. Michael: It's right next to Moqui cave. And all these tunnels is exactly what the note said to look for. Michael: So now we just have to look. What are we looking for? Do we know what we're looking for? Becca: Well, I don't know. Becca: Let's look at the note. I feel like maybe we should look for some kind of a symbol or something. Michael: Look for petroglyphs. Becca: Let's look in here. Michael: Animals footprints. Ryan: Climb on in and keep to the left at the back of the cave. Michael: Keep to the left. Michael: The back of the cave. Ryan: I left a little tin with some old Aztec jewelry. I found be real careful, I think somebody is following me. Becca: Left a tin? A little tin? Becca: Left in the back of the cave. Ryan: On the left side. Becca: Oh, my goodness is getting cold in here. Michael: Do we have a flashlight? Ryan: I have a flashlight on my... Michael: What if a monster came and attacked us? Becca: Oh my goodness, it's like pitch black. You could live in this. Michael: Is it wet? Becca: Is it? Ryan: This is so cool! Becca: Maybe a little bit. Michael: Okay, this is the end. Well, let's go back to that spot and see if we can find... Becca: I'm gonna stand here in the dark. I'm just gonna stand here and stay in the dark. Becca: I'm staying right here. I'm being creepy. Ryan: Becca! Becca: Wait wait! Is this a tunnel here? What is this? Becca: Did we even go here? Ryan: Oh that's a bottle. Becca: Look at that though. What is that? Michael: Guys look. There's bugs on the wall. [Becca screams] Ryan:Dude, did you see all the bugs? Michael: And there's spiders. Becca: I'm really really grossed out right now. James: I found something guys. Ryan: Hey hey the symbol. Michael: That is the symbol. Did he say who's gonna leave a symbol? Ryan: I don't know. Ryan: I don't think it didn't say that but that's the common thing that we've been seeing this whole time, right? Becca: I think we should dig. Michael: Careful. You might get bit. Watch out. There might be a spider or something in there. Ryan: I just saw something in there. Becca: Oh my goodness! It's the tin! Ryan: It's deep in there though. Becca: Okay. We got to dig it out. Ryan, you get to dig it out. Ryan: No! Michael: I'll do it. Ryan: Okay. You'll do it? Michael: Yeah. Here, somebody hold my flashlight. Becca: Oh my goodness. Those spiders where so disgusting. Michael: Don't drop the drone. Michael: Yeah, I see something in there. Okay, I'm gonna see if I can grab it. Michael: I'm really nervous. What if it's booby trapped? Michael: I got it. Becca: Holy cow. James: Something...maybe this locket hooks up to it? Michael: Some jewels and gems. Michael: Look at that. Michael: Okay, let's get in the light and read this clue. Becca: It might have been unburied all this time though. Ryan: Okay. Let's go Michael: It says I keep on finding the same Indian markings leading me along if you head to Angel's Canyon. Michael: Follow the ribbon wash up to eagle's peak. There's an arch hollow with some old ruins there. Michael: I followed the foothills along the ridge heading toward the Eagle. There's a hollow hole about eight feet up with some things in it. Michael: I left a message for you in that hole. I know now that I am being followed. It ain't my imagination. Michael: Saw an Aztec warrior on the canyon rim. James: That's that symbol again. Michael: Let's go see if we can find Angels Canyon and Eagles Peak. Becca: Okay, because I'm not sure if I got it on camera or not. Becca: I'm going to show you guys what we saw. Michael only saw one daddy long legs. Becca: You have to see this. Michael: You guys need to be careful. This is one of the clues, just on the floor. You guys dropped the clue on floor. Becca: Look at the ceiling. Ryan: That is disgusting! Ryan: Do you see em all? And they're like vibrating, pulsating. Becca: They're everywhere. Ryan: This is really gross. Becca: Michael was tickling the back of my head just a little bit like... Ryan: So at first when we went into the cave I thought it was just right on Ryan: Right on the left and I looked all over in there. I didn't see anything Ryan: But then and what I realized is when I walked deeper into the cave, it curved left Ryan: So I said to the back of the cave in to the left and that's where we found it Ryan: Kind of near some scary bugs areas. Michael: We looked it up Angels Canyon. Michael: And we found this canyon and now we're kind of taking a look around to try to see if we can find an eagle's head or a ribbon wash or something. Michael: This place looks kind of interesting so we wanted to grab the camera real fast. How deep is that? Michael: Hey James, wait right there. Michael: You can get down? Is that water? Michael: Jeez. Got to be careful, buddy. Michael: What are we looking for over here? Ryan: It said follow the ribbon wash. Michael: Okay. Michael: This is a cool. Water feels really good actually. Yeah, it's not too cold. I'm gonna head down this way. Michael: Whoa, look at this cool tree. You can see the roots. You can see the roots coming all the way down. Michael: Woah, you definitely see where the water levels been higher in here too. This might be like a flash flood area or something. Becca: Okay, we followed the wash trail and now we are at the eagle head landmark. Michael: So I'm getting a really good look at it on my drone right now Michael: This eagle head rock is kind of hard to miss when you get up here in the canyon. Michael: So I think this is right where we're supposed to be. Michael: So now I'm just kind of looking around. Michael: Trying to see if we can find some other cool stuff here to look at. Ryan: I found this piece of pottery on the ground. Ryan: You can see because it has lines in it that it was handmade. Ryan: And on this side it's been pinched like a pinch pot. Found it right there in that spot. Ryan: What's really interesting to me is that there's like a feather Ryan: Caught right next to it. Michael: Grandma's hips have been bothering her Michael: So we took her back to the house to keep an eye on the kids and Michael: Now Jessica's coming out with us to try to see if we can find the next clue. Michael: So we've been looking all over these hills the Eagle head rock up there. Ryan: You just look down and you can find it. Michael: There's pottery all over the place. Michael: So I guess there's like some old Indian ruins up here. Michael: We're gonna go see if we can find something up there. James: What if this pottery, is leading us to this treasure? Becca: There's pottery everywhere. Becca: There's like it's crazy how it's you pretty much just have to look down and you find some and to me that's like well Becca: That just means that there really was an ancient civilization here, you know everywhere around this area Michael: Hey guys, there's some old ruins up here. Michael: Check out these old Indian ruins. This is so cool. Michael: So I'm looking at the clue again and it says there's an arched hollow with some old ruins there Michael: I followed the foothills along the ridge toward the Eagle. There's a hollow hole about eight feet up with some things in it Michael: This is the arched hollow with some old ruins. I think if we keep going along this path Michael: Up towards where the Eagle Rock is. Then that's where we're gonna find that hollow hole eight feet up. Michael: So we gotta keep looking. We're in the right spot though. There's the arched hollow we were just at. Michael: So we're gonna just keep following this ridge. I think this is the right way. Michael: Okay. We're looking for holes up in the rocks. We're looking for a hole. It's about eight feet high. Michael: They'd be kind of like almost like a shelf or a ledge I think is what we're looking for. James: Good thing I have a hat. Michael: And water. Michael: Oh, that looks hot. What is that? What are those? Michael: Are those bones? Michael: Becca let's lift you up and see if you can see in there better. It looks about eight feet high. Jessica: No, you can't. Michael: I totally missed that. I walked right past it. Michael: Can you see it? Ryan: How you doing? Becca: I'm gonna drop it. Michael: Okay. Jessica: What is that? Ryan: Those are moccasins. Ryan: Was there anything else in there? Becca: No no. I think that was it. Michael: Is there something inside of it? Is that old beads? Becca: Pretty sure that's some pottery. Becca: These are shoes. Ryan: Those are shoes. It's so cool. Becca: Okay, I want to see what's this. Michael: Is there something inside that pouch? Michael: Is there a note? Becca: And it's like in this golden locket thing. Michael: I want to see the locket. Michael: And this paper was inside? Michael: Becca, do you want to read it? Becca: Along the top of the ridge where the old natives used to live. Becca: Is the caves there. Down below is the wall of sorrow with teardrop hollows. Becca: I found the most important thing yet. Becca: The Aztecs left an old warning idol there to guard the treasure. Becca: The spirits ain't happy. Darn near broke my leg from a falling rock. Still seeing the that old warrior. Becca: Afraid they might kill me. Whoa. Michael: What did it say about Michael: Teardrops, found teardrop hollow. Becca: Ridge where the old natives used to live is the caves there down below is the wall of sorrow with teardrop hollows. Michael: Teardrop hollows. Yeah, let's look for some teardrop hollows. ♫ ♫ MUSIC PLAYING ♫ ♫ Michael: Do you think this is it? What do you think James? Does this look like teardrops? Michael: These are definitely looked like teardrops. Becca: I found the most important thing yet. The Aztec left an old warning idol there to guard the treasure. Michael: Warning idol? Michael: Move those branches. James: An Indian. Michael: Who's gonna grab it? Do you want to grab it? Becca: I hope you get this. It's the last I have for you. You've been along side me through all of this. Becca: I don't think I'm gonna make it out of here alive. My leg is real bad and I come to running Becca: A fever. I think that old idol is a warning. Becca: Sacred ground to them Aztec. I spent my life chasing the gold but this treasure only brings death. Becca: It's cursed with all the murder and blood of Montezuma's slaves and a thousand Becca: Spanish soldiers it just ain't worth it. Becca: I know we all dreamed of what we could do with it. Becca: But not if it means losing everything that matters. You had a family and they're more important. Becca: Settle in and go back to farming. Forget about this cursed treasure. Tell Oscar Robinson thank you for always believing in me. Becca: Tell the Judds that if they ever find the things on their land to be real careful, they're a good family. Becca: The one I never had. Now, I ain't gonna cheat you out of what's rightly yours. Becca: So from eagle's peak head about a mile and a half south east toward a little canyon to the south. Becca: There's arched? Becca: Arched hollow to the north to get your bearings head south aways and you'll find the stash in a water cave. Becca: I just knew it Becca: Would be by a marshy area along the path before the cave is a stone marker. Becca: The treasure is in the cave, but I warn you please turn back. Becca: It ain't safe. Booby traps everywhere. Head on home to your family. They're the real treasure. Michael: I think we go for it. Ryan: If we're heading that way, that'll be coming at it from a different angle. Becca: I think that we should try it. If we know exactly where it's at and we can figure that out. Michael: Let's keep going down the river and see if we can find something. Michael: So we've been hiking for a long time Michael: We're getting pretty tired and we decided to sit down and take a break and I was just thinking about what that last note said Michael: You know, I think Freddy Crystal's right. Michael: I think that while we're out here treasure hunting and we've Michael: Experienced a lot of things with Corbin getting sick and all the bad things that have been happening Michael: I think it's just reiterated how special and how important family actually is, and how even treasures fun but James: And Freddie Crystal.. James: Meant something that he said once you go home your treasure will be there and I thought that maybe family is treasure. Michael: I think you're right James. Michael: I think that's the true message through through all of this is what's more important a cursed treasure or your family? Becca: Maybe we already have the treasure I think is what he's saying, you know. Michael: I think so. James: Because we already have a lot of treasure at our house. Michael: And you are the treasure James. Michael: You're all the treasure we need because that it's most important in life. Michael: The ones that we love. Ryan: What about me? Becca: Not you. Becca: You too and Jessica too. And Michael and me too. Michael: Anyway, I just wanted to mention that because I think it's important to say. Michael: That family is really what matters most but I still want to try to see if maybe we can find the treasure. James: With all of us in one piece. Michael: That's right. So let's keep looking. Let's see if maybe we'll get lucky and find something. Alright guys? Michael: We found this really cool cave. Michael: We were looking and we found a cave at the end of this trail. Look at this. That's really creepy. Oh my gosh. Michael: Look at this place. Michael: It's pitch dark in there. Ryan: He's like Harry Potter. Michael: It echoes really loud. Ryan: Do you think it's safe to go in here? It said booby traps. Jessica: It said booby traps, yeah. Ryan: James you have the flashlight go. Michael: Look at this cave. Come on in guys. Michael: What? What do you see? Michael: What is it? Becca: That's gold. Michael: Look guys, look look! It's gold. There's more inside the water too. Michael: It's freezing. Michael: Heard a boom. Guys, there's gold in here. I think I see a gold brick. Michael: It's here, it's a solid gold. Everyone: We found the treasure! Becca: That was really creepy. There's actually like a definite feeling of like I don't know creepiness it's a weird feeling in there. Michael: You think we should put it all back? Michael: We don't want to take the curse home with us. Ryan: But is it really worth it? Michael: Nope. Family is our real treasure. Ryan: Let's go put it back. Michael: I love you. Michael: Go go go. Ryan: Did you do that? You're laughing, right? Michael: Did you? Did you hear that laughing? ♫ ♫ (THE BEACH HOUSE THEME 'PAUSE THE GAME' BY CODY CRABB) ♫ ♫
