Modern Warfare III Story and Ending EXPLAINED! (MW3 Storyline & Ending Explained)

Modern Warfare 3's campaign was released yesterday and was a continuation on from Modern Warfare 2 story where Shepherd's betrayal wasn't anything to be surprised about but what was surprising is the way that he got away this game however makes up for lost time and doesn't only give us more information on that side of the story but introduces maon to the mix of antagonists today we're going to be explaining the story and ending of Modern Warfare 3's campaign look this campaign wasn't one of my favorites I'll be the first to admit we're having a very interesting review coming out tomorrow but it's still interesting to see what Direction The Story Goes in which could Point towards where potentially the next Modern Warfare game or next Infinity W game or Sledgehammer game comes from so this is exactly what we're going to be discussing today without further Ado though everyone let's just dive straight in Modern Warfare 3 takes place straight after Modern Warfare 2's war zone story whereby marov is rescued from gag by a series of Russian spec up Soldiers the Coney group this has been the plan for a long time and we're finally able to execute it after utilizing a Marine to give him the element of surprise when marov was out this sparked the attention of the US Military and specifically task force one for one with Captain Price and his team ready scheduled for another mission but he abandons that and turns the cargo plane around straight away and regroups back glasswell Captain Price was the main reason that marov was in the gag in the first place after capturing him around four years ago from fans after he' essentially committed the no rushian Mission but looks at it from a different perspective weren't playing as mro in the game we only played as price and Tass one for one and it was essentially on the other side of that Task Force 141 initially had reports of a disturbance at the airport but then this was thought potentially just to be a cover up and that the real terrorist attack was in the stadium this looked to be true as task force one for one made their way through the stadium under Shepherd's orders until they found a bomb they disarmed it there and then however marov was also in the stadium which is why they believed that potentially the airport was just a cover up however this was all a part of makarov's overall plan marov targeted at both locations the stadium and the airport killing thousands of innocent people marov would be pulling the gag with a life sentence until he was broken out of course when marov left the goolag he picked up where he left off his goal was to frame and pin a series of terrorist attacks on the Ulf Freedom Fighters with the power of Farah kareim that then go on to spark a war he wanted the world to turn on urzikstan the people within urzikstan to think of them as the terrorists so that Russia can sweep in and take over the country far Alex and the Ulf were working with Shepherd and Shadow company far and the Ulf wanted Assurance over their safety to have counter measures in the event of anything ever kicking off again which is why Shadow company authorized the shipment of a series of missiles very similar to what we saw in the start of Modern Warfare 2 in which the Ulf can keep hidden and in their possession far and Alex however didn't know about shepher and Graves turning on Task Force 1 for one if they did well potentially there would have been completely different circumstances Farah and her driver Dina were ambushed as they went into the facility to look for these missiles the Russians had infiltrated asan to seize them far managed to place some trackers on these missiles and their containers before they were shipped off Tas fors made their way across to different locations based in ö Stand tracking these missiles where they came across a base showing one missile ready to launch with toxic gas on the nose of the missile if the missile fires and detonates on its Target it won't just cause serious damage it'll ensure all survivors are wiped out due to toxic poisoning this gas price tried to stop the missile when successfully in doing so in this particular one closing the hanger door and letting it detonate inside however what he and the team didn't know is that there was another two missiles launching simultaneously both heading for a base called arov base this was a Russian facility and lawell was visiting this facility in order to speak with a Russian informant called Yuri he gave us some inside information on what marov was planning to do marov wanted to use this gas and completely wi out to stand so that Russia can sweep in and Rule us over he wanted to frame a series of terrorist attacks that he would control so that the world believe that the Ulf are responsible for all of this even going to the extent of hijacking a plane one filled with Russian civilians and videoing one of far Soldiers with a bomb vest strapped around her holding a gun setting her up to look like it was a terrorist attack killing hundreds of Russians aboard that flight making the Russian government believe that the Ulf are out to get them it was throughout the story that shepher and Graves started to make an appearance with shepher giving lwell and Task Force 1 141 information on Marro's whereabouts as he didn't want to go down like this he's a four-star general he did not want to go to prison or die from what happened so he tried to cover it up and tried to make amends the team didn't go down very well though Bryce was reluctant to even go near or listen to what he had to say however they agreed that the swap for Intel would be worth it and to be fair the Intel all checked out task force1 got a note from a patrol that look to have marov within however when attempting to infiltrate there was no sign of marov although one of the prisoners within this patrol car surprised the team significantly it was shepher he wasn't sure what mov wanted with him nor why he captured him at this moment in time but he tagged along the way for the ride until we were picked up by Nikolai at the end this is where Task Force 141 had a little meeting with the shepherd and when lwell turned up as well making him tell them everything that he knows about marov and his plan and what he has planned to do also though to tell the government and the commission exactly what he did for the Ulf giving them the missiles illegally for far that they're not the terrorists and just coming completely clean shepher tells the team that makov wanted to finish what he started in vians blowing up the dam and washing the whole city away but that wasn't all he plans to lace the water with poison killing everyone in the city pining on far and her team this was taken care of by price and the team and far and Alex found a Coney base where makov kept all of his poison gas supplies which they secured it was here that marov was said to be at the base he arrived in a Hilo firing at the team and at the base Braves however was in an ac130 and shot down Choo that said to have marro within however when they checked they couldn't confirm a kill Shephard was adamant that trying to convince price that he was dead a little too much for my liking at the time but this was not going down well with price needed that confirmation that he didn't get they all returned to the US and it was here that Shepherd and Graves were before the court and the commission and they were speaking around everything that had happened telling them everything and essentially coming clean even stabbing each other in the back and lying about their stories every man for themsel however lwell heard of a transmission from London from one of the members of the Coney group with a call sign being used which matched marov task force made their way to London and found out that marov would was planning to blow up one of the underground Railways killing thousands of Innocents down there the team Tracked Down the bomb and went to diffuse it until the most unexpected thing happened take us to hell with you Captain never better your enemies alive no enem he's on the [Music] move they've gone bloody H Johnny catching the bomb how do we stop it find the red wire red only so said we cut together on three copy r on three one two two three disarmed disarmed we're clear soap Mavish was killed by marov as marov gets away all station this is Bravo in the blind threat neutralized bomb is safe one k [Music] [Music] is [Music] he was the best of us the toughest you'd have fought the world [Music] barehanded who dares wins sleep easy Soldier see you down range brother we'll take it from him rest in peace [Music] Johnny [Music] but we're not just done yet John General how did you get in here mutual friend last well you're better than as Captain we both will this job is about making sacrifices for the greater good agreed you got a body count of your own John it'll come back to haunt you oh I am not going to beg for my life not from you or anybody else Captain wouldn't do you any good so that was the story of Modern Warfare 3 I didn't do the usual walkthrough of the story as I typically would because to be honest I was so unimpressed by this uninspiring campaign that I thought this style would probably suit it a little bit more and probably be a little bit more interesting to the people this game took me 4 hours to complete 4 hours to complete with loads of open combat missions that I could complete in probably Less Than 3 minutes it was just so uninspiring usually I'd do a separate video explaining the story and then also the ending but I'm just going to pile it into one in this video cuz again there's just there's just not a lot to talk about towards the end maybe there's a bit that implies what's coming next but there just isn't a whole lot anyway marov is of course still out there he killed soap and now he's buggered off somewhere into the world of Call of Duty probably for DLC in war zone or May Ops we'll have to wait and see but I'm sure that in war zone and for Modern Warfare 3 we're going to see him a lot and the cony Group return maybe even at some point return of Dans as well which I'm sure will happen spec op should also continue on the story slightly as well although I'm not holding my breath I bet that'll be as good as the game was and I was not impressed by that the final cut scene however is the main one to talk about here I was actually a little bit disappointed however with how they did this I thought that there was so much more room for opportunity and just a bit more of a wow factor but they just didn't really provide it the final cut scene shows price sitting in the corner of Shephard's office when he was essentially locked down um there shouldn't have been anyone allowed in or out to massive security measures to get into Shepherd's office and obviously price made his way in with lasswell's help of course this was Price's opportunity he was able to talk to Shephard basically just tell him what he thought of him and he shot him in the head the thing that pissed me off about this though was that in the original Modern Warfare 2 the player killed shepher himself or herself like you are able to kill shepher yourself you got revenge on him for killing ghost and burning him also got revenge for killing was it roach I believe his name was and all of the other people within the campaign but in here you just watch price do it and then it's kind of over like why can't I get my own betrayal back like it would have been cool to to allow the player to press the trigger or do something like that but they just didn't bother did they so price wanted Revenge from the Modern Warfare 2 story he finally got it but at what cost to the player that is my biggest biggest thing for this the story inevitably will carry on probably until Modern Warfare 4 which we know that's going to happen and that'll probably be the big Blockbuster campaign where all the bad feedback came with this one and this one will probably go all out with a bang and just be the best one we've ever had so I'm hoping that the next game they learn from this and think that this wasn't a proper game don't do these open combat missions because they're just not it they're absolutely boring the crap nobody liked them from what I've seen on Twitter it was just one big spec ops mission and that's just not how a campaign should be but let me know your thoughts opinions down below for one I'm extremely unimpressed with this game I'm going to be doing a review that's out tomorrow talking about this really unimpressive $70 game $7 just bear that in mind but without without rambling on anymore let me know your
