MILLIONAIRES FORGOTTEN ABANDONED $6.5 MILLION DOLLAR 1980’s Modernist Mansion

hey what's up guys it's ethan back at it today what i have for you pretty sweet this is what we're going to call um the modernist hillside mansion because it's on top of the hill um and it's a mansion and it's modern it's modern as in like not like new ugly modern like modernism like like the architecture of it is literally like modernist architecture so this thing is it's freaking sweet and you guys are gonna love it let's go check this place out and uh it's huge we got a lot to look at let's get started here all right you guys so we're inside the front door you can see there's a wood protection fence to protect the trees for the the tree protection zone they turn the house down there's a demolition permit outside that i can't show you because the address is on it however check this out look at that you have all this natural light i do not know when this house was built i'll try and find it and put it in the description there's the staircase looking down that's gorgeous i'll try and find it and um if i do find it it'll be in the description or maybe even the title of the video who knows but um this is just beautiful so a lot of natural light here you see coming in the back oh it's all glass it's literally all picture windows looking over the trees this would be so nice in the fall look at this they got these nice solid wood floors look at that eh they're about to demolish this place believe it or not the things they tear down around here just it's quite terrible actually i like how they have the the vent covers how it matches the flooring they didn't just put like white or like you know colored like plastic ones in they have it so it matches the floor that's really cool hey there's the date on the window 1992. um this place could have been built in 92. it has a lot of like these floors this tile it looks 90s so i could agree with that oh and i completely kind of just you know walked past this fireplace so it is wood burning and then it has the storage for the wood down there and a little you know put something right there little shelf area put your tv right above the fireplace i bet that's what this is here right you can see where it would have been power cord there um we'll go that way last that's my favorite part we're gonna check that last so we're gonna walk this way into here this looks like a little office maybe it's so cold in here yeah it looks pretty 90s the marble on that fireplace looks 90s to me so that window is probably accurate this house probably was built 1992. imagine tearing down a 29 year old house it's disgusting let's put dates on that one though is there one 1986 okay so it's could be built in the 80s the window doesn't always mean it's accurate when it was built either they could have built a place a long time ago put windows in and renovated it but i can agree with 86 more than 92. definitely looks like an 80s modernist look look at that double-sided fireplace this is probably the dining room i'm thinking because the kitchen's behind me so this is really nice i love the light like if it wasn't a gloomy day and it was sunny you know the sun coming in here and it's still bright as it is i can imagine what it would be like you know um properly lit up oh the pot lights up there holy geez it's cold in here fingers are frozen oh i didn't even notice but it was outside you guys see what i'm seeing here got a pool guys what's the date on that window 1895 yeah we're all over the place the oldest one i've seen so far is 86. i'm gonna be checking all of them 19 oh that's 81. okay we're getting older 1981 we're out but yeah if you had me i'd say it looks more 80s than it does 90s here's my opinion look at this backsplash look at this i believe that's for wine bottles i think 2019 calendars there is no address so there's a 2019 calendar or waste management rather here's the mic microwave the genius as they call it nice kitchen again skylights for days pot lights for days got the stove here oven i like these i doubt they'll salvage them but i like them got a little desk here nice sliding drawers nice and smooth sliding doors hey you've got some what's this for garage door main door key patio door huh oh look at the sink oh actually we'll get to that in a second dishwasher was probably removed a little cat toy so they probably had a pet cat maybe look at the black gold sink big window oh i like the doors like that that one's stuck yeah oh we got a sub-zero refrigerator there you go these are not cheap especially you know back back then if you had a sub-zero fridge you were pretty well off they were not cheap i believe they started at around ten thousand dollars from what i've heard got a bathroom with a really neat light fixture look at that it's like a star you've got the john got some toilet paper you have a sink you don't have a mirror but guess what what is up you guys doing it in spirit we're doing it in spirit i don't want to hear it so there's a way to the basement we're not going to take that away i will show you it though there's a nice light fixture up there looking down so you may have noticed we haven't seen any bedrooms yet we'll get to that little alarm system there's the side door that is like destroyed for some reason all right so we're gonna go check out that area i said we were gonna save and then we're gonna go check out the basement so we're gonna come by here oh my bad sorry [Music] okay all right you guys so we're gonna go right sorry left first what am i saying master bedroom quite obviously we have one two three four closets that's huge right okay you have look at the size of these closets that is insane and then you have a walk out to the balcony 1981 91 we're all over the place and these dates on these windows balcony walk out sweet just right there's the big was that a is that a king-sized bed it's got to be a king-size look at the size of it the vacuum the old shark right got the wall sconces look at that fireplace guys just it's you don't see stuff like that man look at that it's freaking purple i'd like it better if this was shut there we go look at that that's pretty cool like the marble there does that feel marble hell yeah it is all right then behind this guys check this out this is the master bathroom look at this a floating toilet and i'm assuming that's the flusher you have this beautiful tub with these beautiful blinds and this interesting wallpaper skylight window a heater gas heater this looks like it might have been open to the other side at one time has lights and then you turn around here you have a sink double sink a mirror to say what's up guys you go there a little skinny tiny little window with no date on it i was gonna check oh yes there is i can't read it though it's too small yeah i can't see what that says and then you have another mirror to say what's up guys look at this big shower big glass door oh my yep yep and look at if you step in here for some reason this is mirrored what's up guys but look you have one head two heads it's a bigger one another mirror you know you put a little bit of your soap and stuff here right it's nice and clean and then look you can see that the bedroom right through the shower that is so friggin cool that's insane and then here you have the walk-in closet the size of i'm sure this is the size of like some people's bedrooms like this is just massive friggin huge dude crap pot lights and track lighting have a window look at this so much room for your clothing man i'd love this hang up all my fancy sweaters and stuff section for my freaking shoes like dude fire extinguisher because my wardrobe is so fire that's an old-ass motion sensor all right so you've seen this let's go check out the basement guys done this epic staircase all right so down we go okay let's go this way so here are all the other bedrooms i think there's one here there's mirrored doors what is up you guys edt i think it's been vacant for a little while it has that vacant smell to it oh look at these mirrors what is up guys got here oh [Applause] what is up you guys vent some nice blinds or curtains rather than a nice bedroom a natural light obviously that fence wasn't there it would have had more light coming in it would have been blocking it it's a gloomy day in a basement of a house with a fence and trees blocking it and it's still this bright you know and you have your light here so i mean hey not bad and then this is another bedroom yeah look at this holy crap this one's got a security measure got a bar in it keeping uh it from opening is that door of a date on it 1986. oldest one i've seen so far is 81. i think it's at 81. unless it's at 91 like the other one but i think it's at 81. so this house is probably built in 1981 guys look at that what's up you guys no power there's the toilet i don't like this setup it's weird because like you did in your shower and somebody could just like walk by there like i know understand now obviously why there's bars in the window but jeez holy toilet toilet paper and a toilet cleaner what's this laundry laundry room more cat toys see the little fish down there let's pull him out of the dark there you go look at the leaves building up in the basement window wow little storage cupboard here put like your mops and brooms in there put your laundry detergents oh maybe not in there that's all your electrical panels and good stuff okay what's that holy is that all paint what in the world we're not the holy crap wallpaper wood yep your store they were very organized whoever lived here like look at everything's friggin labeled house trim 2011 office trim 2009 mix or bedroom number one like it's just you know very very well organized look at that oh man yeah this is a cool one guys i really likes this one so far well we're almost through it there's a case just in case get it i'm through geez guys i'm firing off to jokes in this one holy god a t-hole wait what they left the tv why would you leave this i've never heard of this brand nec never heard of it they were nice enough to leave the remote got a fireplace with these floors i like these floors this reminds me like it gives me a spanish vibe these floors like a terracotta like you know span like a house you'd see in like mexico or something that reminds me of what's the date on this window you know we had to check 1982. we're all over the place we've had 81 82 86 91 92 they couldn't decide what what year they wanted to change the windows maybe they could have a budget change some this year do some this year you know nice built-in shelves that's really freaking nice pot lights above there have a plug in the wall there or wall what am i saying that's not the wall silly me that's the floor built-ins all everywhere man like again you guys know like my car collection this would be the room like have my cars in here store the ones in there like have my friggin setup here my tv man walk out oh and they're gonna demo this that's what i can't get by there's a bar they're not a bar it's like just like a little sink yeah little sink you could use it as a bar i'm sure if you really wanted to you know oh there's a little mini fridge i'll be damned it's empty thank goodness that's cool that's cool what's on this side nothing [Applause] it's freaking cold in here hey cedar closet is that cedar whoa what the heck is what is this clear ac natural gas that's not something you want to mess with edt box is all cut everything's like labeled it's so organized it's a shame they're going to knock this down it's cringey to think they're going to destroy this that that to me it screws with me and there's the stairs we showed you earlier that's the whole house guys so i think what we're going to do i'm going to end the video here um and then i'm gonna take some photos and then when i head outside i'll show you guys the pool um if i remember if i forget i'm sorry
