do a greeting from our teachers not into our teachers okay i think that's it no uh yes no 5 14 p.m indicate your name and location here for a quick shout out later and let me start maria bulacan sdo malabon city and of course to teacher baguio andrea from pup manila okay yes watching all the way though from kidapawan city good afternoon kai teacher alex savier alvarez this time from marikina city naman teacher ruthesa uh yani papa pata then um la petite learning center from [Laughter] [Music] oh yeah greetings to miss marietta galvan from des mourinhas teacher gina lindelliar from baguio city um teacher joseph caronan miss maria blessing from sdo rizal um teacher katsimon teacher sheena joy s poular [Music] evelyn martinez from east fairview qc and from p.u.p okay mom paula grace and ballista yeah and so uh we'll do know uh our second round later on from time but uh anyway for the rest of [Laughter] third installment of our auger series 365 accessibility features no and again um from the microsoft office 365 last time we had a talk on the google workspace for education yesterday uh we were able to push through with um um studies and strategies and approaches in mainstreaming uh differently abled students in terms of um allowing accessibility and inclusion for our students know what if for example we're looking for tools outside the google workspace for education or microsoft office 365. on a thursday event next week because uh together with sir regan will be talking about all the other tools no outside of these two um systems that promotes inclusion uh in terms of uh these tools know for accessibility and inclusion um encounter nothing or foreseeable uh challenges teachers not in if in case no they adopt uh this accessibility features into their classrooms um any um thoughts ideas on that one actually yesterday we were in a webinar then yesterday accessibility features not primarily for students who need them the best for students who need them it's essential then for students who actually don't need them village uh promoting or giving access to these features no for those who actually need pero if we actually park the attitude human accessibility features that would actually enhance further experience no uh anyone among our teacher viewers today can name at least five [Music] spending preparing these uh learning these tools preparing these uh activities and experiences for their students for example supposedly to give us time to prepare pero ano mula eight hong kong four p.m we're online so they can spend more time doing uh well these uh similarly essential things for our students it does not happen like in a day okay uh so we'll have to give three another time to our teachers okay um so of course activities for teachers are i don't know um are not needed we're just saying um uh always put yourselves into the shoes of our teachers still at the moment and of course on top of my head will always be infrastructure [Music] i would like also to reiterate one of the things that have been always been um highlighted which is relationship and one of the challenges is nothing students how much of to for us to be able to to meet our students all our students where they are para mises no kind of relationship that you were able to build for them to be able to be helped or to [Music] teachers to our students and at times even if you know accessibility we have this paranormal follow-up how we were able to follow them up how they're able to check them out if they really are are gaining doing something i know our teachers really try their best our best but again to meet everyone [Music] thank you so much um inclusivity and accessibility in education so jumbie let's uh proceed now to our first speaker for today um we'll be talking about accessibility features of the microsoft office 365 again of course our first speaker for this afternoon is my sister [Music] my my honor as usual our very first speaker dear is a faculty member of assumption antipolo she is a graduate of business a bachelor in business management from the ateneo de manila university and acquired her master of arts in mathematics education at nanyang universe technological university in singapore she is of course also an mie master trainer dear ladies and gentlemen miss jessica anne good afternoon [Applause] again thursdays [Laughter] [Laughter] like an overview of your session for this update okay um well the whole training now for for this afternoon the whole webinar would be about the different accessibility features of microsoft office 365. so i was listening there's fear that it might give an advantage no to those who really do not need it no and i think um microsoft also has that in mind um um [Music] so in a way it will really just help know those who really need it unlimited um certain incapacity no so um we are able to cover take note we will be able to cover just you know the top of it i and so um and then after not the teachers will be free not to explore more debacle uncertain aspects don't forget that we will have our evaluation link after the session for today for your certificate stay enjoy the social teachers yeah enjoy perma google educators yeah okay so again good afternoon everyone um sorry yeah back to meeting you um cameron so um again this is the topic not that we will be talking about um i will be shifting no on so different tabs nothing so i hope that you will not get confused no when i do remove not the slideshow and then show you know i will be showing you some um of the features [Music] okay all right so again i miss jessica and you know s or of course jinky um so i'll be talking about the different 365 accessibility features um this picture no image is actually from the microsoft education center all right so let me just zoom in on the top part there okay so it says here accessible technologies to help students with disabilities unlock their full potential by addressing the diversity of needs so what we have here know what microsoft is catering to its users is that it will give no support no for students okay those who have um inclusive personalized non-stigmatizing tools no and it starts from the early grades until graduation so madame so it also prepares all students not to be independent with workforce ready skills for higher education and as they begin careers because take note microsoft office 365 is not just for education now um if they do decide not to uh to work after and they will still make use of these applications applications available for them and lastly no knowledge to advocate for the technology and tools needed to be successful and independent in the workplace and life so again not just for school not even after school unfair um advantage okay so going back here no we have i know it's small okay i really intended it okay so parameter one two three four five six seven eight okay so eight puyon and then our second speaker will be talking about the other four and so let me first um let me jump no to our first one okay so the first uh set no of tools that we have no would cater to reading writing and math okay so it says here learning tools are a set of inclusive features available in a wide range of platforms that assist all learners in reading writing math and communication so again ending reason nobody you will be seeing recurring tools that are going to be useful in different aspects how powerful each tool is so what do we have for reading writing and math and we have these six not available um tools or applications uh first one no is the immersive reader yeah and then we have um office lens okay wherein you can independently digitize materials others also the dictate content across office 365 we also have the word prediction to assist with writing a breaking content in smaller parts with headings in word and then built in math tools in one note so i'll be trying to cover a majority of these uh different tools that we can make use and as i said this is one of the famous um accessibility feature no of office 365 it's uh free tool now that aids with the independent reading and comprehension okay it lives in so many different apps and platforms across the office 365 so it is helping readers with many different aspects of learning okay and there are different features no papahitakomamaya different features yeah it can read text out loud it can break um text into syllables no it can provide options for visual layout um it can show spacing now between lines and letters or color themes and then also it's available in over 65 languages immersive leaders especially for those who are having difficulty with reading those who are slow no readers so i'm going to pull out from my slide no and show it show to you know what immersive reader is so for this one um i am using the immersive reader in my uh for a while again so in my um one note so if i didn't push us uh so i copied this whole thing microsoft education center immersive leader so this one no anybody can read this naman settings here okay okay so let me try to put it at uh again at one and then female or meal and then we just press play immersive reader the immersive reader is a free tool that aids with independent reading and comprehension because it lives in so many different apps and okay so no um [Music] okay thank you so ganon ginago an immersive leader so again attention so they can make use of this and change it to immersive leader in per word reading reading reading reading okay um problems now you may dislike letters uh even the font now we can change it yeah so default comic sense we can also change the theme color blind they and the time amelia no no that would um be best for them yeah and then comprehension because it lives in so many different apps there okay immersive reader so again if you do not need it then you don't need to use it anymore okay so translate yeah we will go there when we deal with the translation part yeah so let me go back to my um slide now so that's immersive reader and so and so the 65 languages it is important especially let's say you're teaching uh those um of other um ethnicity or other uh nationalities at least okay so now the office lens yen so office lens is a favorite in application now it allows students to independently digitize materials technically camera pusha so it's a it's a camera that you can use to take pictures um simple picture or you can turn it into a document digitizing material so when working remotely the students will be able to access as well as turn in materials independently all from their device so like my daughter's po as well no gamita gamit punamintong office dance whenever we have i have here a short video from again microsoft now how does office lens um help know in digitizing the material and so let's watch this video open the office lens app on the device choose document as a format once the document is centered take the picture the picture will process and then click done in the export menu choose the immersive reader select the play button the study of earth's landforms is called physical geography [Music] okay so that's office lengths okay next yeah dictation or speech to text no is available across multiple platforms so this allows students to speak into a device and the written text will appear in the program so it is a quick and easy way to create drafts outlines notes or just get thoughts out into text now this is available in word uh there's also an outlook in one note and also here in powerpoint so you know brainstorm um dictation [Music] fix it no and make it make their thoughts no more cohesive so let me go out of my presentation again okay um good afternoon everyone so my name is miss adon okay and today we are going to learn about microsoft um accessibility features and stop there okay is foreign next word prediction okay the word prediction is um sadly i'm not windows 10 but it is available in windows 10 so it uses text suggestions to also assist with the writing in a word processing program so as students enter in the first letter or letters of the words microsoft 365 the particular diesel windows 10 pointed in pusha so i have here another video not to show you especially for those that win those 10. we're going to show windows 10 word prediction so first off open your start menu and type settings and this is launched mine was already open and we're going to type text suggestions and i'm going to choose show text suggestions as i type on the hardware keyboard now you can scroll it right here this is the one you want hardware keyboard and we're going to turn this on show text suggestions as i type so now i'm going to pull up microsoft word and i'm just going to start typing so here i am p-r-o and it's giving me suggestions as i type just come like those suggestions on your phone this is great for people with dyslexia dysgraphia and it could be very helpful for people with mobility impairments so i typed another word and this is not only in word i can go into something like notepad this works in notepad in the same way it works in powerpoint outlook all of your windows apps and just as a reminder if i go back to settings this is under text suggestions for the hardware keyboard show text suggestions as i type there odibas so it's only for those who really need it and then the the next tool and so still not on reading writing and math column okay so we have the math tools in one note um it can take handwritten equations and not only convert it to text but also um outline the solution steps so students who are having difficulties with math okay yes no consider just an accessibility feature now they appreciate this because it helps them know when they have to try to visualize equations on a graph and they don't have to ask for help so all of this can be done right on their own device so i think i know i was able to show this uh before so again i mean one note so this time i'm going to draw so let's see x squared minus one equals zero yeah okay and then you just have to select and then click not in your math okay so nothing you fix yeah so this one no we can um yeah okay so select again and x squared minus one equals zero all right okay when so um how we can show that we select an action so do i want to solve for x okay so if i click solve for x x equals one x equals negative one so congratulations so three ways of solving knowing difference of squares finding the square root and even quadratic formula math teachers out there along okay so let me go back to solve for x generate and practice quiz so the learning nom papa pusha no puede napo okay so generate a practice quiz get right nothing much sign in and it will give now the students um an idea there so now let me go to the next okay the next the next one that we want to talk about speech language and communication so meeting with students who are working on conversational language is of course very important to allow the students the opportunity to speak okay there are many tools students can use to practice through remote learning ms teams and there is a way to communicate to converse with the students maritime conversation staff maritime chat feature of course meron tayong meeting so given up now we will be showing you i'll be showing you know um powerpoint presentation coach para puma practice speech okay practice conversational learning with flip grid um example for this uh i will just be mentioning it later a bit okay reading and listening to text of course with immersive reader we have done that already okay process auditory language with live captions and then respond to prompts of course using the chat features in teams so let's go to the powerpoint presentation coach ayan so it helps students prepare in private to give more effective presentations or just to practice speaking online distance learning available so the feedback of the presentation coach no evaluates spacing pitch use of filler words informal speech euphemisms and culturally sensitive terms and it also detects when a student is being overly worthy or is simply reading the text on the slides [Music] slideshow again so rehearse with coach okay so maventime welcome to powerpoint press enter a powerpoint presenter coach as your rehearse will give you a feedback okay so start rehearsing so um is um okay uh powerpoint presentation coach presenter coach helps students prepare in private to give more effective presentations or just practice speaking so i will now end another coach so here now we have a rehearsal report a good job rehearsing keep up the hard work so my two slides your pace is just right okay so try increasing the tone for your key points now notifying enemies repetitive language so variety of words pronouns presentation originality try to avoid simply reading the slide here are the slides you might want to work on okay i tried this before in apati on camera no i think um but before i tried this this if i try to cover myself or i look down so that's the powerpoint presentation coach okay flipgrid so for flipgrid um it's useful not for the students no when you want to model okay a spoken language and then ask them to create and upload videos if lip grid no is a center wherein they can upload videos of themselves speaking okay um it is asynchronous no in approach so the students will be able to take the time not to enjoy the understanding of the speaker if they commit a mistake they can be record again no they can watch also the videos of the other students paramaha gathered in silent information so desktop you can have an account now using um microsoft office 365 account okay live captions all right so live captions so let me click this now i've been turning this off because this is the microphone for the live caption so live captions can occur during presentations in powerpoint or during a live teams meeting the viewer is able to see captions as people are speaking whether new to a language a student with deafness or someone who has difficulty processing auditory language that is an excellent way to help ensure that all viewers can participate to the fullest extent so there i of course you change the um subtitle no so it's very helpful no for live captions especially if of course the present let's say this one no i do not have a presentation with me and i just say this no out loud those with hearing difficulties no will not be able to understand me now questions but of course the caption helps a lot okay so i'm going to close this again and you can see here meron putayong always use subtitles okay so my option all right so let me open this slide again all right okay below and let me go to this slide now okay so i can't find it always use subtitles again but there is where you can see it now so even let's say we have uh you have uh your your your um okay so let us continue so for hearing okay oh there it is for students who are hard of hearing they have hearing loss or have deafness explore these specialized features that can provide solutions including closed captioning mono sound and live call transcription so that's the live captioning so let me close it again okay so that's um um how we can make use know of the live caption um as what you hear or predict um language okay so for hearing we have personalized the computer with the east of access center um the ease of access i'm going to leave this one out now and i'm going to let sir ichat later talk about it we also have the use of subtitles in teams in translator and powerpoint presentation translator just like what i showed you so even in teams when you are in a meeting there is an option to do closed caption okay the spoiler in pusha mccarran subtitle now you can also add captions to videos in powerpoint sway and stream let's say you uploaded no a video that does not have any captions you have an option to turn on the translation so it will try to transcribe the whole video so that those who are watching it even after kasich streams um in demand video hindi synchronous so they can um they have the option to watch it with a transcription on the side upload the video um okay and then of course turning on the video during a teams meeting having a a place wherein you can meet face um face to face virtually at least now this is very helpful for those who are hard of hearing no para pumeron silang live interpretation okay so that's the first three no um [Music] other five no but then again there will be repetitions okay so but you will see nokusa and panata gamut in certain um need for accessibility and so that's my part of the presentation and so let me unshare [Applause] [Music] inclusion in the classroom across different kinds of learnings across different kinds of users and jobert said jovert i correct now if i'm wrong is that accessible via the mobile application or tablet applications um that i haven't tried okay um honestly some one note it works browser browser browser in casa in case the indica magana a mobile application then they can do the same thing because it works a browser nothing it's a desktop app no sense i'm using macbook feature windows foreign is we show this to them as a feature for them to learn to study it um on their own and then of course integrity [Music] all students were given ms account but uh they don't have a laptop and again sir jobber don't forget that all of these ms accounts have um corresponding mobile applications again talking about accessibility can be accessed across different devices he's talking about the ms-365 ms365 okay so for the teachers ms365 accounts let's say your manga and teachers punate and then if your school has the ms365 license no then of course you will be able to use it for free kapagpuwala meron thirty day no no free no pointing but some of the office 365 applications will be available in the basic account okay um so maybe you could now proceed no uh mr jk will now uh park you for at the meantime starting a background um i will answer more of your questions later during our panel discussion with miss ninki and our second speaker thank you mr jinky we'll see you in a while over and over and over again if we can publish the presentation that she used uh for uh for today's session and we'll definitely send it to you via our facebook page by teacher support your support and uh well no no we'll um send you that one okay so um um while we're waiting for our speaker i think technical problems yeah second speaker um so but for the meantime maybe we could um entertain some questions okay or maybe inside teacher uh teacher um mr powell actually what i'm doing a while ago because i am trying to see because i've i've had no i've been blessed to have watched um many sessions under teacher jinky and prior to the start of the school year i was wondering what application to use so that the students will be able uh so that i can assess the students especially those who are who needs more assistance especially in math because i'm handling grade 11 math so because i saw from teacher jinky that um math equation and um uh i was able to access that i was amazed no at how easy it can actually be done no i said and then what i actually did was to share it also to all the other teachers this is forever free and forever accessible for to help you all throughout your and on your mission and your profession as teachers okay so teacher um let's now introduce our second speaker for today and uh it is my honor no uh to do the introduction okay uh for our second speaker for today sir richard vidal is a faculty of kathmandu integrated school division of malabon city he's a graduate of a bachelor in secondary education major in science and minor in mathematics at the university of kalaukan city he is an intellect intercultural learner from mooc classes and a distinguished honor student to international verified certifications he is also a microsoft certified educator okay that's actually a um like a compressed uh honest teacher um by a note because he actually has very long um i know i don't know credentials okay so let us welcome into our stream for today teacher um many know uh would definitely know him good afternoon sorry clear public sir chad uh maybe you could give us you know a very quick overview before we give you the floor for your session so young thank you first of all uh thank you moon about strangle for inviting me to talk about the microsoft office 365 accessibility feature so i will be discussing i know uh you might need a discussion and thank you spouse uh i know opportunity is available for all of us to use and i know to integrate in our class so that's the picture uh so ichat your uh your session you can now um uh will can we now proceed to your session teachers enjoy again will have your evaluation link at the end of the session for your certificates we'll be in the chat uh for uh our an interaction okay let me share my screen so let's start um our discussion this evening about the continuation uh discussed by miss jinky so major we will say because i only have 30 to 40 minutes to discuss the rest of the accessibility features of microsoft so uh i pray now i'm looking over your internet connection so that i can give justice for this one so uh early on this question is jinky about the accessibility accessible technologies that helps our students with disabilities and their full potential by addressing the diversity of needs so it is when when we are discussing accessibility features is the step up of a different educational technology company when it comes to accessible education so that are getting accessible young technologies in vila and paris normal know for example this microsoft for education the amount of learning tools the melon shot available so important so i'll give also additional information for the other things in the discussion alumni some billionaire actually increasing pay and visa data microsoft education that require accessible technologies to jante even teachers even graduates so we have different uh disabilities you know that come in many forms both visible and encino address available accessible technologies microsoft and tools and platforms we also have cognitive uh disabilities like uh learning disabilities autism sexual right disability spinal cord injuries a neural net maritime bipolar anxiety ptsd ocd and depression so what's happening with microsoft accessibility tools so it's not just it's not just providing our students or us human educators teachers know now tools for uh for for us to access easily you making uh smooth you adding transactions uh technology but if you want to level up the game for the thing as a educational technology you know accessible technology so we have accessible technology now finisher knockout discuss last week name is stephanie howell from a google workspace for education no merchandising microsoft naivete accessible features and tools and platforms so what is accessible technology so accessible technology embraces universal design principles supporting the widest group of users as possible so features then accessibility features and tools and microsoft assistive technology so assistive technology no it includes assistive adaptive and rehabilitative device for people with disabilities and also includes the process used in selecting locating and using them so uncommon factors a greater independence um so it allows them to achieve and perform tasks that they were previously unable to or found difficult mainstream students and technology technology available okay microsoft office i can microsoft as a whole for education so many levels educational technology platforms so as a support for learners against accessible technologies help students with disabilities unlock their full potential by address addressing the diversity of needs when a creative twist is applied to even the simplest of tools in remote learning environment the learning can be limitless so i didn't discuss me missing after language and communication and then the hearing so today at least i will be discussing neurodiversity mental health mobility vision and executive function so let's start with neurodiversity so the many built-in tools such as dictation and windows hello sign in make remote learning more accessible for students who live with dyslexia seizures autism or other cognitive differences so neurodiversity we have students that are different though for neurodiversity in addressing these uh accessible features and tools of microsoft 365 no we can minimize distractions with immersive reader focus assist focus mode and reading view so it's a saying opinion later then so complete work alternatively using flip grid digital inking uh microsoft nano device so pop ideas so focusing on tasks in a new setting so challenge uh changing the environment can be a struggle for many students so not to mention having to focus all their attention on a computer in a new way so there are many instructions within a computer that can help that can keep a student off task and unable to focus so using focus assist allows students to avoid distracting notifications during work time setting can be changed to determine the amount of notifications received while it is turned on being choose which notifications you'd like to see and here so you can stay focused the rest will go straight to action center where you can see them anytime so uh off you'll get all notifications from your apps and contacts configure you adding focus assist or putting priority only see only selected notifications from the priority list the rest will go straight to action center or alarms only so pretty much a configure then you adding automatic rules choose the time set activities when you don't want to be disturbed and focus assist will turn on automatically so genuine focus assist or pediment configured it also may be a lower right feature is minimize instruction while reading in word so reading on the computer can be very distracting because of all the toolbars or buttons surrounding the text using the reading view allows you to simplify the view to reduce destruction by removing everything but the tech but the text and big pictures of us regarding that so so eliminate instructions [Music] um where do as texas species but they didn't read aloud for example the start is national geography when it comes so next uh using learning tools in the edge browser i encourage you microsoft edge chorny ladies and gentlemen immersive reader so vintage against immersive readers waiting right there right in text size you can also adjust the text spacing no i think uh text miss happens microsoft edge original national geographic and dominion distractions even a picture a background you have other texts immersive reader in the future microsoft edge distractions preferences we can also set the grammar tools dictionary when you when your cursor changes to a star select the word to see a picture so that thing is [Music] engage while i engage science and participating projects possible foreign when it comes to um when it comes to microsoft edge may feature miss immersive leaders again in microsoft edge using multiple modalities to read can help state students stay focused and process information so word predictions word suggestions to assist with writing in a word process program so perfection for our students no economic condition and dyslexia dysgraphia using to do this app available on any device will help teachers and students stay organized with lists and tasks that will give reminders when a task is scheduled to do as a planner task manager lists and integrates with office 365 so antonio mata created a tasks downloads app uh laptop it's a cell phone when you download it download these android phones or any smartphones available so popular laptop a computer it's a laptop desktop cell phone tablet so we can also stay organized on how to be organized it wants you to do microsoft to do is perfect for them so yeah empowering every student's voice using flip grid no it allows students alternative ways to express their thoughts feelings and complete work works communication skills and communications as many times as they want before uh turning it in in a remote environment this can be done without the pressure of peer weaknesses thoughts and i know understanding says uh a student's voice reflection and communication skills number one so 21st century skills now uh regarding sap related information perfectly so curating materials for students and families so you can create materials that will assist families and students in one place so it will cool snap accessibility feature but uh pointing attention for our students so siwan no chassis teams and about great names gina that can be changed and modified as needed so create one for families and for one for students so for example collection collections for example uh your students for microsoft edge for education collection microsoft teams at microsoft now applications more so uh magicking is important access to my students regarding our uh lessons and things that i love and i think it reminds me so when it comes to the writing materials part par neurodiversity now let's discuss the second one which is mental health so students social and emotional well-being is a major factor in remote learning mindfulness so for students who struggle with emotions their behavior is as important as academic learning so students need to be ready socially and emotionally in order to learn okay somehow the ingredient feature see microsoft for our students so opportunities to connect with students and families with video chat feature in microsoft teams so microsoft teams so social emotional learning or sel through lessons alternative content creation with flip grid digital inking powerpoint recording swiss and white board and then data collection such as young anticipator and abc data through microsoft forms okay so disgusting as a class it's very important um a platform no you meeting me video uh conference meeting me video conference features in microsoft teams support nothing manganese for us to meet them them with their other classmates allow students to talk about their fears and frustrations and work through them together so many other students may be feeling the same way when possible continue to do activities and traditions typical for the class so i'm perfect so next is minecraft indian minecraft but the education edition so as an advocate for game-based learning and gamification it's a great way for students to work on social and emotional skills so merenci merency minecraft education edition currency mindfulness for our students no param enhanced you acting social and emotional learning number so an individual has the ability to identify and name one's emotion and their uh influence okay so weight loss self-awareness coping skills and social management so and dummy [Music] to learn more about minecraft and nothing also minecraft microsoft then society you have lessons for science math computer science language art history and culture art and design digital citizenship important digital citizenship so that they can be you know uh i know etiquette internet magnetic cats genuine social emotional and equity and inclusion sobre perfect game-based learning about equity and inclusion that's perfect for students racist that also uh provide our students with an inclusive education for game-based learning so organization beams in onenote no nc planner again the planner app can give a quick snapshot of what their week will look like which can often ease anxiety about upcoming work so i am so organized nothing teams a synchronous snap students are automatically given a pause that can be used to regulate emotions before responding it also allows students to watch peers and study their emotions or facial expressions as many times as they need to for understanding us but you know flip grid when you use it to your class encouraging for reflection but also for student expression next is data collection if you have uh the activities like the antecedent behavior consequence you abc microsoft forms for us to to you know evaluate and collect data parasitic muscle then so uh send this form to parents or use it during your synchronous meetings with the school then so that perfect microsoft forms for that data collection and number three ion c mobility okay so adaptive input voice access switch access and eye control in windows 10 and office can help students with mobility disabilities navigate their computer and create content so personalize the computer with the ease of access center supporting and documents available across all uh applications to microsoft no not available online and offline use computer with keyboard only and on-screen keyboard again for that my accessories is keys and filter keys for one-handed access single handling speech recognition to control the computer engage computer using eye control and third-party tracking devices i shall play with others using the xbox adaptive controller microsoft so whether it is so first you piece of access center has options to optimize interactions with the computer this can be found in the settings in settings settings in windows 10 okay so ease of access so technology is of access up in search bar so until we jump in control keyboard you adding mouse you adding dictate no magnifier settings and vision settings and dominating operating a configure and brightness so it depends on for example it's a display no drag this uh slider until the sample text is easy to read so much recommended is 150 but 175 uh make everything brighter and show animations in windows is type and navigate without using a keyboard and now so dictation will convert speech to text so students can produce words without a keyword throughout office words um uh has many options to help the users navigate their computer by typing with a mouse so strap ball or joystick hovering and scanning over peaceful type there are multiple ways to personalize the on-screen keyboard to meet each students on-screen keyboard access center but at least students to personalize certain keyboard functions to make them more convenient or easier to use so turning on sticky keys from the ease of access center will allow a command to be executed with one key stroke at a time devastating is a feature in the east of access center that tells the keyboard to ignore repeated strokes this is help full force for a student with limited mobility or someone with an unsteady hand so that the computer ignores multiple keystrokes at a time so yeah and next i control game change journal eye control parasitic as part of a student's device or system enables them to control their pc with only their eyes enjoy more immersive game experiences assist those with reading difficulties and more so and i mean students or someone my special needs but the things are mobility number four i'm starting to lose so we vision windows 10 and office 365 have many built-in tools to help a student with a visual impairment use the computer so personalize the computer with the ease of access center support navigate but is it accessible for all our students accessibility checkers visual world into an audible experience microsoft can see in ai or artificial intelligence basic coding learning tools and immersive reader know as an easy way to make text accessible so i'm perfectly immersive reader accessible so um visual world into an audible experience students can read short text timeout session on how much you know um uh how much accessibility features uh microsoft uh has no uh for for its users that's obligated very comprehensive and also to me for that very comprehensive coverage of our of accessibility features of microsoft office 365. so teachers we're ready now for some questions i think we have at least around five um or so minutes okay to entertain some of your questions okay you may now put your questions uh in the chat right now i'll we'll post them and uh read them now okay and by the way um sir richard no and miss jinki clarifying questions about the microsoft office 365 accounts no and we would like to thank uh sir jobert no in the chat box earlier have been very helpful in answering some of the queries of our teachers about the microsoft office 365 accounts okay so maybe uh sir richard can we clarify um how do our teachers know especially those uh with that accounts can access the office 365 accounts um yes access to office 365. um but i think based on the comment by saying that yes go ahead sir uh uh when it comes to microsoft office 365 account uh are you they're going to use the um i think it's the um the more specific dependent emails it can't be the provisional email yeah it can't be the general general um dot goblet ph it should be like for example teacher powder ncr that that that goblet ph something like that um they have because it has two uh emails no meron silence gmail nila [Music] yes yes um uh i think that the best way to instagram for uh for our teachers is to uh actually consultant uh with their um uh ict coordinators now because usually they have the accounts okay for uh this no google workspace for education fundamentals and also for your microsoft office 365 accounts okay uh so and then coordinate nothing because um they definitely have an answer no and the access to those some issues on microsoft office 365 because some features need approval admin console and microsoft office 365 that manages now and give permissions if you are in a private school that was office 365 limitations let's say then it is also specific um office 365 uh admin the onsen [Music] [Music] again if it's needed you have to write them a letter request consult with them write them a very respectful email [Music] no but when you open it's a browser it works because we had to give way to inclusive education series this august but we'll be taking that no uh even wakelet i think my request on to have a full walkthrough of a wakelet um also so we're going to put that in september series is september series in september series 11. can you recommend the top three tools which a non-tech teacher can start with that with that will be highly helpful teacher jinx you want to answer um word powerpoint so for me no top three tools that the teacher can start with that will be very helpful um [Music] for communication and collaboration purposes uh one note no will actually also help you either personally or even if you have to um connect it to a team whether in pusha and if my third pa i think the microsoft edge browser known as google chrome by default so kanina pinakitani [Applause] accessibility when it comes to strategies uh increasing engagement in the classroom once it's done we're going to publish it for everyone's access for this particular problem recommended tools and strategies for that we're working on that one and um with other uh tech integrators no um here in the philippines and also abroad okay so hopefully we get to uh to finish that soon for everyone's um benefit okay so uh teacher pao um um we can now proceed and show appreciation to our speakers although problems are connection see uh sir ichat no uh and hopefully he'll be able to be back no in time for uh for some other questions but again um yes anyway um would you like to do the honor to read the citation for our speakers for today yes as always i am very honored to present the certificate of appreciation to miss also your expertise today thank you thank you so much give an instruction on how this training code could be used by our participants don't forget that you're going to get two certificates again for this session one is directly coming from microsoft and of course coming from agape so first let's uh have no the first um how would how how will you get the certificate from microsoft so miss jinky i'm going to post now the training code okay could you explain to them how to um to use that um [Music] post you know so teachers now you just have to uh log in education.microsoft.com and you may link puna e la lagueiser franco and then of course log in with your microsoft um username and password redeem achievement code profile upper right that's my option put on to redeem the achievement code and then just type in yampong binigani sir franco parapum account channel so this is uh accessibility features microsoft office 365. i know 400 blancpo redeem so oh definitely they'll be the ones to benefit um yes on the extra certificate but for the rest no um they can still get a certificate from kagapai for this uh training program okay so um uh before we end and before we show our evaluation link for uh our uh for this session okay uh can we ask another message no to our teachers as they move forward into this school year again uh um once that we encounter no uh students who are um having uh some problems again the one that they're seeing right now is uh for the certificate from microsoft so if you'd like to redeem that okay also when you once you're done redeeming please do uh chat no no no no i don't know uh code network achievement i think evaluation link now for this session from teacher support okay uh let's first remind our teachers know of our no so teachers we would like to invite you on saturday we'll be talking about it on a more general sense certain learning abilities known as different learning styles and preferences so this is a more a wide no wide spectrum of use of students um so we'll be talking about differentiated learning how do we differentiate learning so that we get to address different learning styles and preferences uh so hopefully you know we get to see you on saturday teachers um and by the way um so we'll have our fourth episode on saturday and on um next thursday we have edtech playlist tools for accessibility and inclusion and of course no um okay we'll be talking about low bandwidth education [Laughter] online distance learning here connectivity so how do we actually uh go about that and still promote accessibility and inclusion uh through distance learning even without a very fast internet connection so uh teacher pal um while they're uh evaluating any insights uh things um that they'd like to say about our session for today and i think what's very important here is that it's not only the the the physical disabilities that's being handled by microsoft [Music] even mental health natasha sir chad on mobility merunden so talagang overall all aspects [Music] office 365 in terms of accessibility yeah so it really helps us that you have all the tools that you need okay so hindi nathan problem and this is a matter of like designing it integrating it into our lessons into our curriculum and uh for our teachers to be able to fully uh maximize and optimize the use of these tools properly integrated um we'll see you now on saturday for our next session uh for this august series inclusive education in distance learning okay and uh thank you so much we'll see you again uh on saturday saturday cheers nice
