Metal Detecting Abandoned Cabin and Made Dangerous Discovery!

wow man this he's a lot bigger when he's not curled up i am out here today at an old house site down here in texas i have my friend dallas from man plus river today hey guys we're going to be doing some metal detecting that's right we can find some treasure the place behind us dates back like 1920s maybe even older so we have a possibility for old coins relics who knows what else and also we are protected today because we're wearing our snake guards there's a lot of rattlesnakes in the area especially this time of year so we got to be safe this place is really trashy there's tin roof everywhere and all kinds of iron and even pull tabs on top of the ground but i still have hope i know we'll find something so let's get to it here we go here's a better look at the house for y'all see some of the nails the boards here brown nails not too many cut ones but still an old site i found a button here just a minute ago i bought it when i was looking around there's also a bee nest on the other side there so we're not going to go on that side of the house for now allergic to bees pretty dangerous i'd rather see a snake but you see all the tin the trash on the edges here and a lot of people get discouraged because they start finding all this stuff and they give up oh look at that right there another button just eyeballed it right on top it's plastic but there it is unbelievable it's unbelievable that's right this place had electricity at one time they're pretty uh updated their technology i don't know if they had an outhouse or not but kind of get a feel for the area we're going to be searching so let's crank the detector up now see if we can find anything it's out here just got to swing over it 76. see if we can dig it out dirt's nice and hard plus it's like 100 degrees out here today so good figure detecting when it's the hottest of summer ah there it is just a piece of aluminum but cleaned it up at the ground so let's put in the pouch and keep on going all right y'all so i just got a signal down here pretty loud i figured it would just be like a can top or a piece of trash but it's a handle off an old toy gun look at that you see right there that's the grip pretty cool the rest of it might actually be down there so we're gonna give it a quick sweep move the shovel that's it there's a bunch of iron might be some in there though we'll move this up there's something in the ground right there so we'll have to investigate that awesome so i'm running the at pro today i have a pretty good signal right here 82 83 could be a silver mercury dumb or wheat penny depending on how it's laying you know sometimes when coins are on edge they give a higher hit 81 that's good it's got to be a coin it's out is that a marble no i don't know what that was like a marble there's got to be a marble here though so we'll probably find one getting the nail right there see the iron that's not the original signal it's in here oh i see it look at that it's in the dirt clump i don't know what it is though it's like a piece of brass dirt so hard brass bolt off of something looks pretty old yep that's definitely it giving that signal all right not a coin this time y'all but it's brass let's keep going it's probably gonna be a piece of aluminum i think i see it but we'll dig it out yep sure enough melted aluminum check that out it's been melted somebody took a can or something threw it in the campfire all right y'all so just got a pretty good signal here popped it out you can see it right there looks like a coin let's see if it's old it's a penny penny shaped hmm flip it over definitely a wheat penny sure enough one cent on the back all right i don't know if we'll get a date off of it right now but probably 1940s i just got an 83 signal right there dug it out and there it is i don't know if you can see it looks like a coin another one ah just a modern penny let's see what the date is 1969 d so i got something a little bit different here it was laying right on top of the ground check that out looks like an artifact to me you can see where it's been worked down the side there on this side as well probably a big old spear point or digging tool it was something they were making years ago you can see where it broke too bad or maybe they didn't even finish it but they were going to make it into like an arrowhead never know it's definitely been worked though by human hands it's been chipped on awesome i'll take that that's the oldest thing i found so far today there's a cow bone and another one and another one all right y'all so i was walking towards the cow bone and i just spotted something it's not metal but it's sticking out of the ground there let's take a look at it it looks like a bottle i don't think it's very old probably complete yep like a 1950s or so could have been a shoe polish something of that nature we'll put in the pouch though keep on going and the sun's going down about to get dark out here soon won't be long it's eight o'clock right now give it another hour so be pitch black dark out here that's right hope y'all have your flashlight snakes come out too so we did the quick perimeter search of the property just to get an idea of what's out here a lot of pull tabs a lot of cans pieces of barbed wire i did find one wheat penny one modern stinky lincoln and some other odds and ends that one piece of a rock that looks like it was worked by the indians so that's kind of cool and now before it gets dark we're going to go out and look for some rattlesnakes this should be a lot of fun are you all ready he's going to take us to the todd's the expert there's some stuff that's falling down little barns and stuff we'll go look underneath that tin and maybe there might be some snakes coming out right now it's getting nice and cool so it's only 91 degrees out here but that's cool because it was like 120 earlier yeah i'd be right under here if i was a snake here buddy buddy there's spiders everywhere what was that yeah scared me oh he's jumping all over us oh gosh we're about to have a plague had the murder hornets now we're going to have the grasshoppers you find oh well so pretty much we're just exploring right now seeing if we can find snakes or just anything cool that's weird look at all these look at these feathers what's that everywhere he tried to get the snake and the snake got the bird not that one oh looky there that's an old straw fan yeah that's what i was looking at it's been there a while probably 1940s 30s oh troll there's no one over there look oh let's go check it out i was hoping we'll find a well now definitely could be a snake right here because it's everything blends in i recently seen a video of you falling in the whale from back in the day oh yeah you saw that video you fell in yeah years ago probably about almost 10 years ago i fell in a well and uh it collapsed like three or four feet and it stopped like it was filled in we were digging it out wow i didn't know yeah so it looked like you did way down in there he threw a lot of rocks out because yeah yeah like six seven feet yeah and then it started to fall that was fun the digging part of the falling part both both i'm still here talk about it didn't go too far that's the bucket to put our snakes in yeah maybe we should have detected over here this looks nice some ancient ruins what's this you know it's getting dark out here now let me turn my light on i might help you a little bit i want to go this way is this another building hey what is this y'all never knew about this place look guys it's like an abandoned building y'all another house they just passed oh might be somebody in there now this is pretty cool let me get my light i gotta get my light before no i haven't been over here never seen this wow yeah yeah many times heard something what attack what is it the grasshopper i got hit by a grasshopper i'm watching out for bees that's what i'm worried about it's like somebody did live here that that's probably where where the the uh chimney thing went look there's an old bottle man broken broken that piece of glass oh yeah sure is wow we didn't know about this place look at them big bugs or grasshopper thing on the wall huh there could be a snake under that yeah don't don't knock it down yeah but if it's all old well change the lights for a moment i got to come back here and detect yeah this is a better one for y'all there we go now y'all can see a lot better all right oh look here's a marble no way you found a marble like i can't believe you beat me to it you beat me to it that's a beautiful marble man todd is getting the eyes amazing man you can't do this all the time yeah i found two buttons and you got a marble it's cool unbelievable that's a beautiful one blue and yellow that's probably rare 1930s or so maybe older yeah oh is it clay it feels weird oh man it does feel weird i don't feel like uh it almost feels like it's clay not glass but then it looks like glass because it's got that shine to it a little chips in it and i don't know it's oh yeah it's glass it's got the swirls man that's nice at least nineteen twenty squirrels that when they'd hit it i think that was uh afterwards like it got chipped up from being beaten around but you found that we gotta dig around here more i mean oh i got my pinpoint there you go okay hold on ready metal everywhere that's crazy you found a marble we're gonna have to look around some more yeah this is a good spot to come down yeah put put it in here so you'll forget it and i'll have it awesome i can i thought you were joking well there's no way the man found a man a big-time joker from way back that was dead serious right there man let's find some more marbles that's crazy i cannot believe i didn't find the marble y'all like i'm always finding the marble every video but there was one there just goes to show you everywhere you go there's a marble everywhere look how short they were people back then were pretty short though maybe it fell down you know what maybe it was up a foot off the ground and everything just collapsed and landed how it is that bugs won't jump in your face i don't like those things they're under houses little jumpy bugs you got jumpers a grasshopper thing this place is like this is a treasure trove y'all it's gonna be like my schoolhouse site it's gonna have just buttons and marbles and coins everywhere out here there's a better look watch i'll find an arrow a marble no no way camera i think i'm pretty sure it's a marble i'm pretty sure that's a marble right here yeah oh it's a marble oh i gotta get it out man this is so exciting this guy just like i can't get it out and i gotta get it out oh man look at that that is beautiful this is good i love it that's so awesome love it i just dug a hole y'all and found a marble no skill needed wow i wonder how old this little spot is this is like the marble zone let's keep looking because i guarantee you there's dozens of them it's clear glass even coins we don't have our metal detector the only thing that has a pin pointer which could come in handy but depends on how many nails are in here so you see one right there let's keep looking that is amazing that's so cool and todd found one right there between the doors so kids were definitely here and the shack could have been abandoned when the kids were out here playing i mean you don't know is that a sword or a big butcher knife oh it's a sword a potential sword potential sword that's a heavy hunk of metal right there hasn't been made yet yeah there's a sword waiting to be made out of this hey marble wow there's a lot of marbles in this spot let's just found a marble it's got the uh definitely looks like a glass it's a glass marble and first one ever my first old marble wow congratulations as a kid but yeah we're modern that's crazy authentic one wow that's amazing man three marbles we all got a marble how awesome is that marble's all around that's right we're still digging i have my light up there we're just huddling in this area seeing what we can find all right we got light in the house make this a working area here yeah look at that looks a little light comes in handy we're digging for marbles that sounds so ridiculous it's addicting if you've never found a marble you need to find one you get hooked we're in the kitchen now i believe that's what this is you can see where they had a wood stove hooked up and there was another one on this side look at all that dirt just got done searching that cabin now let's find us a snake which is what our original plan was but got sidetracked with the marbles good place for the snake heard that yep was it rattle yeah big big deer this thing right here this is the camper where the guy came out and there was a six-foot rattlesnake well he was not he has a little puppy camper on the other side of here but it came out of this thing wow all the snake came out of this that came out oh inside of it oh wow that's where we need to be look in there we're fine breaking bad happened gosh good place for one to be oh [Laughter] [Laughter] no i'm not going to believe you when you do find one and it's like a nightmare it's like i know there's a snake in here it's just where that's like up top somewhere nice event it's probably out of here it's all right i'm about right now just found a scorpion y'all lifted up the board right here so we thought it was safe to walk barefoot in texas but there's tons of scorpions out here don't let it bite you oh my gosh you'd rip off the tail and eat it hey buddy look at him here buddy come here come here oh it's a rattlesnake guys it's a baby one yeah he's bigger than y'all think he's like three feet another one's around here before we where's that hook man he's all curled up todd spotted it 15 20 feet away yeah y'all be safe you're on the rattle that is a big one he's pretty i think he's bigger yeah when he's curled up he's you're ready to strike it's a pretty video look there's a hole right there oh yeah there's his hand there's a bunch of them in there wow look at this look at this straight in there he was going straight into his little crack we didn't never would have guessed there was a hole right there come on pull him out but now we'll let him go in disturbing she might have his head come out over here yeah just look at this rattle guys watch out and come out the other side whack somebody get that rattle yeah he's in there he's not coming down there huh hey there's a snake right there do not move right there oh my god there's a snake right there right there there's a snake we just turned the lights off it oh i've seen it i've seen it how did you see that dude dude i'm glad you didn't step further we turned all the lights out we're looking at the stars and then we turned our lights back on and found a snake that's insane oh you're kidding you're aiming the light right now no no no there was a snake wow holy i even looked around look at that y'all you're he's i know through the strike man i get i'm three and a half feet away i'm not getting no closer look at him wow yeah we turned all the lights out y'all we were looking at the stars and when we turned the lights back on mine shined right there and i'm like snake it was like a nightmare oh my gosh look at that oh my gosh [Music] oh he's hauling man look how i wonder rattle for us they don't rattle what's wrong with that he's big that's bigger than another one yeah look how big he is man see if i can work him in the woods way over here make sure there's no more todd's got a deer stand over here close so he's trying to scare the snake away a little bit oh run up on another one look he's in my game camera hi guys hopefully you get pictures right now it's not like it's on but you never know keep holding them up wow man this he's a lot bigger when he's not curled up so yeah they do look like a cow patty cow look at that there he goes look at that guys there he goes man you can't even see him in there no don't go walking through the bushes i guess so i think we're going to call it a night we've been up since five in the morning we went diving earlier now we're out metal detecting and snake hunting feels like that was a different day yeah totally crazy but we had a lot of fun found a wheat penny metal detecting from 1926 i got a marble some other odds and ends uh dallas got a marble that's my first i gotta show you guys this is exciting i my first marble ever that's awesome yeah you'll remember that forever i'm proud i also found this little soap thing so yeah a little dish it's been melted yeah looks like soap when i'm celebrating something like this you know i didn't have a great hunt you can use the soap tonight then yeah and todd got a marble yep my first marvel too awesome so two first marbles and plus we found snakes the first one todd spotted and the second one i spotted after we turned all of our lights off while looking at the stars and then i'm like oh snake so totally crazy my first time ever really looking for snakes normally i don't want to find them i'm just out you know tromping
