just got a quest three and you're wondering what the best mixed reality games are to play well that's exactly what I have for you today starting off with the Light Brigade this is actually a brand new mixed reality mode that just launched recently and this will have you fighting against enemies from inside your home as they try to break through it's like a crystallin type of wall break that happens you can actually shoot your wall and see through it as well it's a really cool uh experience and it it's something else to see a giant gaping hole kind of break through the side of your wall and see a world beyond that you're trying to you know shoot enemies through it's it's a really fun mode and it's a free update for the Light Brigade the Light Brigade is $24.99 and the regular VR game is fantastic as well so you're getting a great deal if you want a mixed reality game with a VR game next up is LEGO brick Tales now I've got a few things to say about this really quickly before we get into what this game is this was actually a flat game number one then it transitioned to VR and I've heard the VR version is way better I never played the flat game the one thing I wish that this game did differently even even though that makes reality is really cool was use anchors so you could like place this on your table and have it stay statically there then you would be able to kind of walk around and see the diarama unfortunately currently you can place it where you want but when something happens or you know you complete something it resets and moves it and Spins it so if they can fix that and you can put it on a table and you can feel like you're actually building Legos on a table it would be even better so if you like Lego then it's a really cool game overall this game is $29.99 knockout league is $ 199.99 and this allows you to box inm mixed reality it's a more cartoony you know arcadey style boxing it's not realistic but it's still cool the Box in mixed reality and uh you make sure you won't hit anybody so so you won't be punching somebody walking by at least to be able to see them and not you know whack summoning the side of the head but again this is an arcade style boxing game really fun to play just for that and it's got some pretty cool VR elements as well DB to the cabin is definitely one of the best mixed reality games on Quest this this is $24.99 and it's got a really cool VR mode but the mixed reality mode is where it's at in my opinion it allows you to actually have windows and doors that exist over top of your windows and doors so the zombies can flood in through them and you can see the outside zombie world one of my favorite Parts about the mixed reality in this and a few of these other experiences is that when you look through the windows out of your actual room you're seeing a living breathing world out there with zombies or enemies or whatever else is out there and this does it really really well keep talking and nobody explodes is next it's $14.99 and this has a unique implementation in the sense that it's not actually the game that uses the mixed reality see in this game it's a party game so you're going to print off or I think they have a digital version of a manual that you can give to those that are sitting in the room and they have to try to talk you through diffusing a bomb while you're in VR the mixed reality element comes in where when you're in the headset and you're choosing the mission and talking with those that are going to be helping you you're in mixed reality so as soon as you enter VR or you enter the actual game it switches to VR but allows you to be present in the room while you're talking to people and getting things ready which is a kind of unique element it's not strictly mixed reality but it's a cool way to use mixed reality now this one is an awesome game it's been great for a long time 11 table tennis this is $29.99 but it's a really amazing physics-based pingpong game or table tennis or whatever you want to call it it's the best table tennis game by far in virtual reality and now that it's in mixed reality it's even better it allows you to actually place a pingpong table and play against someone in mixed reality whether they're in person or not you can actually have someone in person there if you have multiple headsets and then play ping bong back and forth in the same room which is really cool or you can do it online either way it's a really cool experience to be playing ping pong in your living room or on the beach or wherever you want to play it synth Riders has long been one of my favorite Rhythm games synth Riders is $24.99 and it's got some amazing track TRS and a really cool kind of Dancy Rhythm style to its game and the main game is really cool but if you want to play in mixed reality it's really cool too it places these portals on your walls and you play the traditional game but in your room with portals to the synth Riders Universe it doesn't look in a flat screen like super impactful or fantastic but when you put your headset on and actually try it it's a really cool implementation that's the way it is with a lot of these mixed reality games the implementation is so well done but it's hard to see how well it works on a flat video like you're seeing here kind of like with Vermillion Vermillion VR painting is 1999 and it has a really cool implementation which I don't have a video of because I I I didn't capture it and they don't seem to have anything online but you can essentially turn on mixed reality and paint in mixed reality which means that you can paint a subject whether it's a person an animal or a landscape while looking through the headset in mixed reality on a virtual canvas which is really cool and I've seen some amazing artwork done that way s ma di Amigo this is a really cool mixed reality mode as well the main game is such a blast but the mixed reality mode adds some really cool elements that actually change your world uh and they bring the world of samb Amigo into the real world really cool way to do it I was surprised how much of a difference it made and and what it did to the actual you know the world that I was in it was really cool I was surprised if you like Rhythm gam sadigo is a cool mixed reality one Aspire 2 is a cool game in the sense that there's a lot more to it than most of these other mixed reality games there's actually a ton of missions there's both missions for small spaces and for large spaces with multi- rooms or however you want to scan in your environment this is a stealth based action shooting game kind of in the vein of Metal Gear Solid like a love letter to Metal Gear Solid I'm actually in this game which is cool I do all the voice over for all of the captain guy that talks to you while you're playing the missions which is really fun and the game itself works really well in mixed reality makes it really cool the to bring in elements from the virtual world to the real world whether it's a giant door that opens up and shows you the universe of spire outside of your walls or it's guards walking through a door into your actual room and you have to hide from them behind things it's really really cool and aspire to is $29.99 broken Edge is a sword fighting game an kind of an arcadey one in the sense that it's not like physics-based combat it's more kind of use your brain to block at the right time and stab at the right time it's cool and it mixed reality opens up this really cool portal to your world from the broken Edge world I guess if that makes sense and as you're seeing here it's just it's a cool implementation in mixed reality this next one is a unique super unique actually I should say experience called figman XR it is 1999 and it actually allows you to create your own worlds essentially in mixed Reality by placing 3D objects that both can have Shadow they can move if you've got a 3D model actually moves you can connect it to libraries or 3D models and bring them into the real world and decorate a room yourself or create an experience yourself there's also a ton of like template type things like sample things or I guess they're more not necessarily samples they're actual things that people have created that you can click on and download all the assets and put them into your room it's really cool I really enjoy creating in it it's a fun unique version of mixed reality in the sense that it's more about creating uh and adjusting your real world than like a specific game but it's really fun cubism has been a great game for a long time and mixed reality is really cool too there wasn't a mixed reality trailer for this but it's very relaxing to sit at the table or on your couch and just play mixed reality cubism because you can see the world around you you can either do that or you can play in VR in like a white expanse which is cool too but I like playing something like this in mixed reality because it makes me feel present in the real world when it comes to working out in mixed reality lay Mills body combat is the best version of that that I've used or seen it's $29.99 and it all allows you to actually work out in mixed reality see your world around you which again is good for not slapping people or kicking people or whatever you you might do if there's a pet or child running around so if you're looking for a mixed reality workout lay Mill's body combat's a really good one next is smash drums smash drums is another really cool rhythm game where you'll play drums and in the game the VR version you're actually destroying the environments as you're playing your drums whether it's a prison or you know a school classroom this though actually destroys your environment it'll take and you'll start seeing cracks and pieces flying away as your environment deteriorates it's it's another cool mixed reality mode especially if you like that style of like kind of rock music and you want to play the drums next is demio it is $39.99 it's gone up in price semi- recently because of all of what's there it's it's a great tabletop game and the entire game can be played in mixed reality because it's a tabletop game and you're essentially going to place the tabletop in your room and it's really cool to play in person with other people if you have other people that have headsets it's just it's a lovely game anyways but because of the mixed reality it's a really cool implementation just allowing you to play like a board game but an interactive 3D you know moving board game on in your room it's really cool last is a less a game and more an experience and it was actually used as a lot of the marketing for Quest 3's mixed reality this is piano Vision it's $9.99 and it actually is a piano tutorial kind of lets you learn how to play the piano and it actually works really well you can either use the tabletop or if you've got a keyboard you can use that and kind of set it up you I guess you can use it with Bluetooth or maybe it's Wi-Fi I haven't set it up myself personally I've just use the tabletop to kind of learn it allows you to learn where you know your hands going to be placed and how to play the keyboard essentially on a table if you don't have one or you can actually set it up on a keyboard if you want even if it's not plugged in you just push the keys and it won't necessarily register it but it'll you know see it on the the tracking it's really really really well implemented it's a great way to learn the piano and I think I think it actually shows the future of what we could see for learning in mixed reality well there you go those are in my opinion the best mixed reality games for Quest 3 if you've got one that you think should be on the list put it down in the comments so other people can check it out thank you so much for watching don't forget to subscribe to keep updated on all things Quest and VR and as always happy questing oh and merry
