Marvel What If...? Strength and Power Tier List

what if there was a youtuber who could accurately power scale your favorite fictional universes well luckily for you you live in a reality where one exists his name is weeaboo warrior in this video i will be ranking all the relevant characters from the first season of the marvel cinematic universe's what if series each tier houses characters who are roughly the same power with the ones who i think are stronger more on the left characters in the tier above can usually defeat characters in the tier below pretty easily though there are always match ups in certain situations that can change this the rankings are mainly based off what the characters have shown in the what if series but i will be using logic from the main mcu universe to fill in the power scaling gaps as i will assume the universes are the same for the most part besides the specific differences mentioned and the changes that happened due to those differences if you haven't seen it already i have previously made a strength in power tearless for the main mcu universe and i named the tears in a similar manner so you can kind of cross reference the two tier lists to see how they match up at the bottom of the human tier just like in my main mcu tier list is happy even with iron man's glove the best he could do is idiotically shout blam as he got ruthlessly killed by zombies nick fury didn't really do any fighting in this series but as a trained soldier he should blam happy sharon carter is a skilled fighter and actually managed to kill some zombies with the iron man glove unlike happy ultron sentries can fly shoot lasers and dent metal with their punches they can be damaged by gunfire batroc was able to fight hand to hand with captain carter and hold his own for a bit korg accidentally knocked nick fury out when running by to do a cannonball and his arm was strong enough to be one of the collector's weapons however it was destroyed by the dark elf knife and he doesn't really have the feats to beat anyone higher than this the liberator drones were resistant to gunfire unlike the ultron sentries and one could give an unprepared killmonger a run for his money the first on the superhuman tier is zombie captain america he was able to turn sharon carter into a zombie and still has his superhuman strength giving bucky a bit of a fight his lack of intelligence skill and rotting zombie body makes him much weaker than the actual captain america korath the pursuer of t'challa's dick should still be superhuman just like in the main mcu universe and him surviving a beating from thanos backs that up he managed to land a hit on star lord but he got his butt whooped he's above zombie cap because he could just shoot him with his laser gun raimondo was able to destroy multiple liberator drones with their vibranium spear okoye was able to do the same as well as kill the falcon zombie killmonger before being powered by the herb was an elite soldier and he must have been juicing on something besides herbs considering how far he threw that missile he also defeated multiple liberator drones with a vibranium spear black widow was able to defeat a group of trained hydra agents in an enclosed vehicle and her alternate apocalypse universe counterpart was likely even tougher due to what she had to go through she was able to defeat a large number of ultron sentries and even got her own shield apocalypse world hawkeye is one spot higher as he was able to take ultron sentries out in a similar fashion in close quarters as well as taking them out from afar he also has some extremely impressive tech such as an invisibility cloak shield generating arrows and a mini nuke arrow dropping dead in the bottom of the super soldier tier is corvus glaive all he did was knock out an already captured star-lord and gets her prize shot and killed by nebula who's next that she killed him and doesn't have any feet to put her any higher she also is in as cybernetically modified as her main timeline counterpart so she would probably be weaker than her bucky was able to defeat zombie cap relatively quickly and took his shield afterwards captain carter easily has the most impressive showings out of any of the serum enhanced super soldiers being able to throw her shield from incredible distances stop and flip an incoming truck toss a motorcycle like a toy rip a cell door right off its hinges block a tank shell and destroy multiple tanks she also physically held off the hydra that crushed red skull and chopped up its tentacles with a sword the supposedly indestructible hydra stomper piloted by steve rogers destroyed tanks as well and due to its greater durability flight capabilities and energy blasts i put it one spot higher hank him and his ant-man suit was able to assassinate most of the avengers however most of them were vulnerable when it happened he was able to easily defeat black widow in a fair fight he should have the capabilities of killing anyone in this tier as long as he can get through the hydra stomper's suit by shrinking down enough swinging into the bottom of the low superhero tier is spider-man though he didn't really do much besides pull on a train with 4 000 pounds of thrust and temporarily restrain the wand of zombie with his webs the real mvp of this picture is the cape he's wearing doctor strange's cape was able to fend off multiple super zombies and was consistently saving everyone's asses throughout the episode t'challa's star-lord is basically better than the original star-lord in every aspect so like him he should also be able to defeat spider-man he has all the same gear and is skilled enough to temporarily fight back against the collector and dodge his necro swords yondu is still as overpowered as ever with his arrow and would pretty much just slaughter everyone below him by turning them into swiss cheese hank pym due to his small size and the hydra stomper due to its durability are the only two i could see taking a majority over him but yondu's arrow is extremely precise and should be too fast for pim to react to so hank would have to stealth kill him and the hydra stomper doesn't have anything that proves that it's arrow resistant and yondu's arrow can fly right through solid metal so i can see that being argued either way killmonger juiced up on magical herbs and his vibranium suit is above him since there's no way yondu's arrow is breaking through that suit and none of the weapons of any of the characters below him are going to do so either without the suit he would be below captain carter and he could be argued either way with bucky loki was able to bully hank in their fight so he would go one tier above he has his father's staff as well as the casket of winters so the characters below him have very little chance of defeating him plus he has his illusion magic proxima midnight was able to knock out the ravagers including thanos with her weapon which i find kinda dumb and later took a hit from thanos as well as survived multiple blaster shots from the same weapon that one shot corvus glaive and she came back ready to fight after both of those on to the mid superhero tier we're starting with gamora unfortunately her episode was pushed back to season 2 due to kovid so we can't really properly scale her yet but we do know she supposedly killed thanos she also has the same type of armor and weapon he had and with that weapon she blocked a mindstone beam from ultron and damaged his suit she was amped by strange in that fight so the feat is questionable but she also happened to be one of the last people standing along with thor and strange when ultron was pushing everyone back so it's likely that she is above all of the other guardians of the multiverse cole obsidian was strong enough to give thanos a fight ebony ma easily defeated star-lord with his telekinesis so it makes sense for him to be a tier higher his telekinetic powers would be hard for a lot of characters to overcome however his durability isn't that great as he was one shot from behind by a blaster another version of him did take a hit from an iron man repulse shot to the back of the head and got back up so his durability isn't completely crap the collector has a vast collection of weapons he's taken from people across the universe including korg's arm maliki's dagger and hela's helmet which allows him to shoot necro swords this would likely mean he somehow defeated all of these people though he may have had some help from the black order in his army especially against hela even without his weapons he's insanely tough as star-lord strikes were barely having any effect on him and yondu's arrow bounced right off of him he also has the reaction speed to catch yondu's arrow mid-flight and snap it like a twig the hulk was able to smash and toss around jeeps like hot wheels and was able to temporarily fight back against zombie wanda his skin is extremely tough being able to tank bullets and zombie bites redeemed thanos should still be above hulk even without his weapons and armor due to how he stomped him in infinity war even disregarding that he had the edge over call obsidian catching his hammer strike with one hand and pushing it back this might be a controversial placement but buzzing into the bottom of the high superhero tier is wasp zombie iron man doctor strange and wong were able to defeat ebony man call obsidian and then wasp came in with her bugs and defeated all of them like hank she can go small and kill people from the inside but she also has the ability to become giant and should logically be able to crush club city in the same way ant-man did so she should be a tear-hire the ancient one was able to foresee the universe's end and split strange into two versions of himself she could arguably be above strange but she did say strange was the only wizard strong enough to beat himself though at that moment she was already technically dead so it's questionable if that includes her either way i put strange next as he was also given a protection spell by wong and with that was able to fight back against his more powerful love-crazed hat thor without loki as a brother basically had a way better life and seemed stronger too as he was able to punch captain marvel from france to england and fast enough to get there moments later like usual he has mjolnir which allows him to fly shoot lightning and call it back to himself he could also just put it on his enemies which is how he was able to defeat captain marvel in their first fight i said he seemed stronger than the main universe thor but i would argue after all the character growth he had to go through and obtaining stormbreaker the main universe store should logically be stronger gnawing her way into the bottom of the team buster tier is zombie wanda she was able to actually annoy ultron with her energy beams while thor's lightning did absolutely nothing captain marvel did even more against ultron smashing him into a planet's core and seemingly making him slightly struggle she did lose the thor in their first round but she was holding back as she said if she didn't she would blow a crater in the planet her punch also supposedly has the power of 10 nuclear bombs and it was stated she would be fine if hit by the nukes meant to kill thor this could be due to her energy absorption powers which also allowed her to tank thor's lightning ultron in the vision body was able to defeat all of the phase 2 avengers break cap shield and even cut thanos in half with his mind stone beam he showed up the ability to face through objects just like main universe vision does this is basically the power level vision could achieve if he had full knowledge of the mindstone's abilities and the will to kill we have made it to the universal tier with the characters here having the power to destroy the universe itself doctor strange after absorbing countless powerful creatures for centuries became incredibly powerful but at that point he would arguably only be in the team buster tier after absorbing his other half he became even more powerful so much so he could change an absolute point in time which ended up causing the collapse of the universe which he tried to slow down but ended up only managing to create a small pocket dimension even though he had a team helping him he was basically the only one really fighting ultron as he was protecting everyone with his magic and powering up their attacks ultron even acknowledged this strange even stopped the galaxy destroying attack by eating it the watcher was able to hold his own against ultron with all the stones in a one-on-one fight he was still clearly inferior though as he had to run away that leaves ultron with all the infinity stones as the strongest character in the marvel would have series and i would argue the entire mcu as of now he's able to destroy galaxies with just the thought and punch his way right through the multiverse it was also implied he would end life across the entire multiverse which would also implies the strongest in all the multiverse that's the end of the list at least for now as i'm planning on making an updated list after season 2 comes out so if you would like to see that i recommend you subscribe to the channel if you don't i'll just have to take solace in
