hey what's going on guys this is your boy c will back to you with another video like you saw in the 7800 XT video at the end I said I had a little surprise and boom here it is um so I didn't keep the 7800 XT you know as you saw in review 7800 XT is a great car you know it's probably one of the best cars that you could pick up for 1440p gaming um especially at the price point um but I definitely want to make sure you know since I tried out my first am card I wanted to get the biggest brother the mall the one that gives a$ 490 run for us money um and you of course we're going to get into that a little bit later but man we got the RX 7900 XTX this is sci-fi Nitro just like we had in the 7800 XT this one's a little bit different though is definitely more powerful we're talking about boost clock up to 2680 MHz game clock up to 2510 mahz has 6,144 streaming processors uh the compute units is 96 cus which includes the RT and AI accelerators 96 megabytes of infinity cach you know you know the infin cach just like the CPUs and stuff like that um it has 96 rare accelerators 24 GB as you can see right here of gddr6 384bit on the bandwidth uh for the vram man and this also has two um HDMI 2.1 ports and also two display port 2.1 uh which is the only card on the market that has display port 2.1 Port so uh yeah this thing is like fully loaded and of course you know we got this for 4K g and we definitely going to put this up against the 4090 finers Edition um as you can see here that's off to the side um and yeah we about to get ready to open up this bad boy let's take a look at a couple of things and get it into the system we got knife on Deck so I picked this up from Micro Center today um and yeah let me know what you think down in the comments below U I'm only going to do one side on this let me know what you think down in the comments below about the 7800 XT review um definitely you know after you watch this definitely make sure that you go check that out um if you want a mid-range card and you play 1440p or 1080p you could do both of those High refresh rate um on that particular card and this card right here is definitely made for high refresh rate we talking about you know I'm saying you know 100 65 no plus FPS with 1440p um and also 100 plus on 4K gaming this thing is super heavy and I'm trying to get it out the box without tearing the Box you on that right here we go now just like the 7800 XT Nitro version uh this one is also a three slot card I think the power TDP power on this is like like 420 Watts you definitely need at least a 800 W power supply um and of course you know we're using a th000 wat power supply and as you see here um in this accessory box it actually comes with a cable that's uh used um the card has a argb header on it and here's the actual cable um so you can connect this to your motherboard and get the the light bars and I say bars with PL as a s because it comes with two RGB bars on a card the 7800 XT only had one crazy um we have the sad bracket so it comes with one cuz this is a huge car it's three slots three brackets just like the 490 and let's see if I can whoa let me tell you something this is significantly heavier than the 700 XT oh my God which which is also a three you know three braet three slot card sheesh big boy big boy all right so slide this out goodness gracious beautiful this is probably one of the best looking cards I've seen this is why I went with the XTX um version the Nitro plus just speaking a couple of things so it has a metal back plate you also have the bio switch right here it has three different settings you have one that's a software switch a OC switch and then a um a silent switch um and so I am going to leave this on default and the reason why I'm Gonna Leave it because once we get inside there's um what we call tricks software uh for this and you can actually be able to change the um the Dual bio settings U within the software and you don't necessarily have to you know change the switch on a card which is dope this card right here takes three eight pins um so that's pretty dope so I already have those um install on the system the 7800 XT had um it was a dual a pin connector so this is three this is triple um eight pin and yeah this thing is correct so we have a RGB light bar here and then an RGB light bar here man I think this is going to look crazy on the inside three fans um this is one of the quietest cards that's on the market and so we'll definitely take a look at that too um and yeah so if you want to see a side by side comparison what this looks like up against the 4090 and there you go they are I know this the 4090 is about I think it's about 12 in it's definitely shorter than the uh XTX the XTX is like 320 millim I still don't know what that converts to inches but I'll put that up on the screen if we put these side by side like that you can see the you know the WID difference in those and uh yeah they're both three slot cars they're thick you know what I'm saying they thick and they heavy and uh that's what she said and then you know these just you know you know I like to have fun but yeah this thing is this is the 49er card is dense it's solid and just trying not to drop these but um picking these up 490 feels like it's heavier um but we definitely going to go ahead and get this popped into the system and of course we are going to be vertically mounting this thing so let's get it so I had to feel myself taking the actual film off you almost forgot look at this the peel yes sir okay that one a bad right there that went bad today three down goodness gracious all right we got the fan spinning cool let's let's make sure we don't have any other plastic on this side and I don't think that we do doesn't feel like we do okay let's get this into the case all right let me tell you something I know it looks like the 7800 XT I know it looks the same but it's different we got the three pin 38 pin connector this there RGB bar here across the top then across the bottom is also RGB bar we about to turn this bad boy on 7900 XTX Sapphire Nitro plus balling okay let's hit this power [Music] switch look at the light bar all the way across baby look up under the bottom light bar all the way across super dope 7800 XT Nitro plus only had one across the top but this one has two let's get inside windows see what's cracking Laing if you saw my 7800 XT video sci-fi Nitro plus you know about the tricks software so with the trick software you can actually download this from sappire tech.com webbsite and man it gives you so much information um so here you could definitely you could be able to see the name of your card um the GPU information the die sides the amount of memory uh the memory bus the current driver that you have it'll tell you whether or not uh resizable bars enabled uh which if you're running a AMD GPU and AMD CPU um it's called smart Access Memory um the amount of shaders rest units texture units the BIOS version um the directex version that you have um and so on and so forth so what's great about this software also too um is you can actually um remember earlier when I was telling you about the actual bios switch that's on the card um so it's a dual bios card you you have the OC version and then you have the um silent version um but it defaults to like this auto switch which which allows you to be able to use the trick software to be able to switch between the different bios but with this car you really you could leave it on OC mode because like even when it's 100% fans of super solid and we're going to take a look at that as well but yeah you can be able to um it has a hardware monitor here that you could be able to to use tricks boost which I I thought this was a overclocker program but it actually what it is um it allows um to you to be able to do resolution scaling um to increase the FPS so um I actually don't recommend that you use this not on your ,000 graphics card cuz you want to play at Native settings um and then use you know maybe FSR FSR 3 FSR 2 um if you need to um fan health check um I actually ran this and you could be able to test the actual fan speed and health of your fans and they actually wamp up um and it's pretty cool then the Nitro glow um you know we talked about it earlier it has a light bar on the top of the car light bar on the bottom of the car so this car has a dual light bar on the 7800 XT only had just the one light bar on top of the card so you could change this to different effects rainbow seral aut visual Uh custom um you could plug up an external uh argb uh cable that comes with a box you can plug it up to the motherboard if you want to change it there uh you can do the brightness change the color speed so this is pretty cool so that's the trick software the right click click on am the adrenaline I've gone over this software extensively in my 7800 XT review my but a couple of things um I want to check out here um it actually shows because we are using um the preview driver um the setup is a little bit different U one of the main things is uh up under well this will tell you all the games and stuff that you that you've ran um and it gives you the FPS but you can also go in here and click on different things when it comes to the hyperx it has like different profiles that you could be able to use um but I want to go here to the oh one thing that nobody is talking about and that's up under the record and stream tab if you go to settings up under the recording stream tab this so much information here but one thing that I checked out which was you can actually record at up to 120 FPS and I'm going to tell you what's significant about that I haven't seen where you could be able to do this anywhere else so what's significant about this is that if you ever wanted to record slow motion content um you can actually record at a higher frame rate and then inside of your um like denture resolve or Premiere Pro if you're using a 60fps timeline um if you cut the speed in half you could you can actually um look at slow motion footage and what's good about that is looking at different uh if we was doing side by-side comparisons um or if we want to take a look at some um like some fast action stuff which is why we're waiting this to finish updating Call of Duty um but man if you want to actually take a look at some you know some fast-paced footage in slowmo for looking at different quality settings for different games this is a perfect way to be able to do it um and you could be able to you know record at high frame rate and then slow it down so I am so looking forward to this and and definitely doing some more testing with that I'll put that in a separate video uh but yeah and even on the performance tab you see a lot where it gives you even more information uh for FPS uh your GPU GPU memory CPU uh L latency information um so yeah so when you get a chance definitely you know if you have a AMD graphers car uh download the new adrenaline software check out the preview software because that's where a lot of this other features and um te software technology opens up so yeah you know I like to do live benchmarks so you see exactly how game runs and you don't have to depend on charts um we're looking at these type of things so um again we got the Sci-Fi Nitro plus 7900 XTX um along with the best um gaming CPU that you can buy right now the 7800 x3d and uh let's take a look at some of the uh options that we have um everything should be at 4K Ultra settings but we could double check that so you see we got the 7900 XTX uh 4K quality mode everything is on Ultra uh HD textures is on Intel LSN is on motion blur on I normally cut that off but I just leave it on um uh dxr Reflections and shadows are both on and the Fidelity FX cast is off um advanced settings uh we have everything pretty much turned off here let's take a look at the bench mark all right I reset the 1% lows and looks like we dropped down to 78 um and we're averaging about 120 118 fluctuating um but 1% lows looks like it's rning about 78 um I pay attention to those you know as we um go through uh some of these can benchmarks you know a lot of times when people give you the 1% lows um during the run it's it's really the lowest you know it's the lowest actual frame [Music] [Music] rate a lot of times when they talk about the 1% lows is the lowest frame rate you know that you receive you know 1% of the time um and it's usually not indicative of you know what you see at the end of The Benchmark um so 78 for the 1% lows but the average frame rate turned out to be 129 um that is really good for 4K uh ultra settings uh dxr Reflections on uh so yeah that's pretty good let's take a look at the next game all right next game that we got up is hardw legacy and let's take a look at some of the settings that we have going on here so window full screen is the only option that we have full screen um 4K U we're using TAA high for anti-is no upscaling uh and here the rest of the settings we on the ultra recommended setting no red tracing we're going to take a look during our run this is the hog me area on the map and let's reset the 1% lows and let's do the run and this is definitely a hard area to [Music] run usually especially around this Mark right here on the 40 90 my frame rate were drop for a 1% lows and it didn't do it so I don't know if that has to do with the smart Access Memory um which is the basically it's the same thing as rebar uh since we're running a andd CPU and AMD GPU together uh that's one of the perks um so I think because when I was running 490 and um you know we definitely going to look at some comparisons um with the actual 4090 don't know if we're going to be able to get that done within this video I may make that a separate video because I have certain things that I want to point out um but I could tell you you know if you if you've ran in video graphers card uh or not I know when I was playing on the 490 at the beginning of this run it will always drop always so it's interesting that it doesn't do it on this particular card and CPU together but I mean hey it is what it is so it always drop around this area so that's weird um so far so good you know playing at 4K you know doing an average we got an average of 83 82 so yeah I take it it looks like our 1% lows I think was 55 um so yeah that's Hardward Legacy um and this is like I said this is a tough area on the actual map to run and so it was interesting um you know I like the numbers though I like the numbers 7900 XTX all right let's move on to the next game okay next game we have up is Starfield and yep one of the most popular titles of the year here um so let's take a look let's see last time we ran this it was at uh 1440p on the 7800 XT and so let's see let's make sure all right we're on 4K um the graphic preset that I had on this was Ultra so everything was on Ultra but I turned off a couple of things motion blur uh vsync upscaling U vrs those things are off now I also have my own run for this too um inside of ke City so I do actually slow run around Aila city um this helps with not depleting down my CO2 so I try to do a slow run um so far looks like 1% lows is dropping down to 55 54 53 you know we are at 4K 52 51 50 now we are at ultra settings having a good one 49 48 47 now 7900 XTX is the best graphics card that you could buy for AMD and uh this is a 4K card and I'm be honest with you you would think that I know this is a tough uh area of the game to run um obviously you know inside of Kila City it's hard to run but once you get like inside one of the uh stores or houses you know the frame rate goes up and every other part of this game you know like when you outside in the planets and stuff like that frame rate you know what I'm saying is a lot higher but man I know we averaging 4K you know this is 4K you know the average frame rate is 61 so far but the 1% lows gives you the experience um that you have while playing the game and 48 ah I just hate to see that you know um but it is what it is you know Starfield is not one of the best optimized games considering the CPU and GPU that you know that we're using right now um but I can tell you uh I you know I don't know I definitely have to compare this against the 4090 to see the difference but I'm pretty sure the 1% lows in the frame rate on the 49 it was higher inside of Aila city um but we're going to test that anyway so stay tuned for that on the comparison um but if you have if you want to play Starfield and you know and run a 4K native experience with Starfield uh and inside of you know like the hardest areas to run this is what you can expect so we're still averaging 61 so that's good um it's just the 1% lows um you'll definitely you'll feel that within the game so this is a pretty good run still getting 4K 60 um but definitely you know with the top of line Graphics car like this I I guess I expect a little bit more and this is probably coming from you know having a 4090 so um but yeah I mean you're still averaging 60 FPS so it's still a win in my book All Right Moving On okay next game that we have up here is cyberpunk Phantom Liberty um and yeah I haven't got into the Phantom Liberty part of the game just yet um but we're going to take a look at uh cyber Punk uh let's go to the settings uh gam playay and this is the same thing I did my 7800 HT uh portion of the video HDD mode is off um if you want to make sure that everything is loading up on the screen like it's supposed to uh then make sure that this is turned off if you have it turned on uh it may take away some of the assets and stuff like that Crow density and stuff like that um also AMD um simultaneous multi3 smt make sure that you have this on if you have a AMD processor all right Graphics um this is well we're actually just going to change this to I forgot what I had this on earlier um but the first thing that we're going to test out is ultra settings lead on ultra um I am going to turn FSR off no upscaling hit apply and everything else should be on high alra settings okay cool this is good let me reset the 1% lows okay so 4K Ultra settings no R tracing um we are averaging 65 so let's take a ride and uh looks like we dropped down to 57 so cyberpunk is a hard game to run um it's just loaded with so so many different things you know I wasn't going to talk about this right now but you know I know the question is going to pop up you know will I switch to all AMD bill and I can tell you the 490 is just a beast of a car uh and I play at 4K so playing at 4K High refresh rate is very important to me it's almost kind of like one of those things like once you see it you can't unsee it and I'm not even talking about the r tracing or the path tracing and I'm just talking about just playing at 4K Ultra Settings period um when you have the right type of Monitor and equipment and everything I'm playing on the LG CX TV OLED TV uh the hdr on this TV you know the inky blacks the level of detail it's just absolutely amazing and you know and I'm playing on it right now and this is a you know a great gaming experience but um we don't even have and R tracing in this game and I like cyber pump so R tracing in this game is absolutely amazing but I tell you not being able to play 4K native um you know it makes you kind of think you know whether or not I could be able to have the 7900 XTX uh you know is a main graphics card that I use in my main Bild and I got to test out some more Gam but I can't make that conclusion just yet uh because if I did it just off of this game that wouldn't be fair um but I can't tell you that uh you know this is a until they Implement FSR 3 in this game FSR 2 is not that great um you know of a upscaler I mean it works you know when you have the right type of equipment you can notice things so let's go in here let's go to settings um and let's turn turn on I tell you what let's turn on rate tracing to High I mean Ultra so R tracing Ultra and let's change FSR 2 to Quality and click on apply okay just reset the 1% lows and yeah so with FSR quality um it changes the render resolution to 1440p and up skills in 4k and you know this is I can see I'm I'm playing on a 65 in 4K TV OLED TV and I can already tell the difference in quality say see this is what I'm saying when you have the the right um equipment you could definitely and you could take a advantage of high-end graphics cards and Hardware um you know this is the reason why we do the video so you know a lot of times you know before people make large you know buying decisions you know they they come to YouTube and they like to see people try this stuff out you know before they make those decisions and I can tell you you know this is not a great experience I was expecting I mean I know you know AMD is not up there with Nvidia when it comes to you know like R tracing the upscaling quality but FSR 2 quality mode uh with r tracing on cyberpunk I mean I didn't Bor this high in hard whereare to you know the average frame rates at 40 FPS so that's a little bit dis disappointing um I just got to be honest um but I love the sapphire XTX and this is just one of the few games that I probably can't have that same type of experience that I have with 4090 um a little bit later on in the video we're going to check out fluid motion frames I'm not going to do it right now because I will have to switch up um to be able to get the overlay so you can be able to see what's going on I have to make some changes so I'm going to do it a little bit later on um but this is the experience so far uh R tracing 4K 7900 XTX yep it is what it is all right let's move on to the next game okay next game that we have up is Jedi Survivor and uh let's take a look visuals so we're playing at 4K epic settings Lync is off R tracing is off um and this game supports FSR 2 I thought I turned this off but I guess I didn't uh disabl except uh and let's check it out um this game does not support um FSR 3 or fame gen uh from AMD um which is weird but you know we'll come back and take a look at rate tracing um just to see um you know how big of a difference it makes in this game all right let's take a look all right I am going to reset the 1% lows and so 4K epic settings ultra settings uh so far so good looks like 1% lows is definitely dropping below 60 um yeah looks like it this game also had issues with stuttering I don't know why this game has so many issues and this it just ran an update that's the craziest thing about so oh he grabbed me yeah so we definitely on 1% low we definitely drop down looks like we were still averaging about 63 64 so yeah this is Jedi Survivor so this game definitely had some issues running this you know what let me just look at it just real quick um I'm just curious to see so what if I turn on R tracing and then we turn on quality FSR 2 see what that does I tell you it seems like no matter I mean maybe if you playing at 1440p you can enjoy R tracing oh man he got me so quick uh yeah maybe you know you can enjoy 1440 play on a AMD part with r tracing with upscaling on but I play it 4K so I'm telling you right now if you want a 4K experience um you know you know and you want you know you just want to play R tracing uh you are definitely in usually when I use up scalon I don't go below quality because again you once you have a 4K Monitor and you know you start playing you know it just doesn't look anything below quality is not going to work yeah we're just going to toss this in the bucket let's let's let's move on let's check out another game okay I finally got some new spells in this game um before I get started though let's take a look at uh settings that we have we're playing at 4K uh I had to change the brightness and some gamma settings uh of course you have to change this to custom but I'm on the ultra preset so FSR 3 is off frame generation off uh not test nose um this just native 4K uh and I got everything else that you see do I have R tracing on R tracing is off so good so this is just native Native 4K let's see what we got gots okay this is awesome I am catching some serious Bears was chasing me very impressive go oh come on man yep I could run like the wind and I'm not even getting tired no don't do that's not doing much sh run though that's for sure that parkour is no joke definitely save see that now got to you got to be on it though ah I died all right so you can see it looks like we was averaging about 66 and uh 1% lows I think we dropped around about 46 uh so yeah that's native settings so FSR 3 quality uh no frame generation looks like uh we could be able to get 60 plus so let's let's check it out and see what it looks like okay let's try this again I am catching some serious a frame rate is definitely up and uh from what I can see I could run like a wind and I'm not even getting tired three looking pretty good definitely need to definitely need to be how I that more power damn it yep all right but FSR 3 definitely seems to work pretty well um and I think that's probably how I continue to play this game going forward all right moving on next game okay we have Forza Motorsport up here newer title uh let's take a look at some of the settings okay let's go over here to basic video if you saw my 7800 XT video then you know this will look familiar um I try to set everything on ultra settings make sure FSR 2 is on off uh we're playing at 4K we go over here to advance video everything should be on Ultra uh 16x retracing quality we're going to start off with this off first um but everything else is on Ultra [Music] and so far so good uh we definitely over the um the 100 FPS Mark uh which is good 1% lows is uh looks like we're staying around 95 FPS um this is good we averaging 110 um this is 4K native um definitely want to check to see where we are how much vram do we use 11.47 GB of vram so okay let's take a look and see what happens when we turn R tracing on I know on the 7800 HT the 1440p uh took a big hit you know when it came to Turning R tracing on so let's see what happens uh we'll start off with the four Reflections in rtoo okay and so far 67 on the average um 60 on the 1% low 56 and yeah the the way that I will play this game I'm just going to be honest with you you don't see a huge difference with the r tracing [Music] um you know I think depending on the situation depending on what you're doing um you know if you see that yeah you can average 66 but I would probably want to play um at Native settings without rate tracing in this particular game uh but hey you know depending on what you're doing I mean you're still over 60 FPS at 4K average um but your 1% lows do drop um below 60 FPS okay moving on to the next game okay we have the remnant 2 and uh let's take a look at the settings real quick uh playing at 4K um motion blur is off uh frame rate 120 no upscaler everything is on Ultra and let's take a look at the supposed to follow these good people thick down here so far so good uh you're from the w you know 4K native no up scaling we're averaging 69 looks like the 1% low is uh dropping to 57 it's not bad it's below 60 FPS but you know um the more that I could be able to play without a up Skiller the better so that's how that's how I'm going to look at it you know what I'm saying oh I actually need to beat this game Unreal Engine Fire game I think it only has lumen in this game um I could be wrong about that it's either it only has Lumen or nanite one of one of the two it may be nanite uh but I'll put it up on the screen which one it actually has but it's either lumino that I can't remember but uh yeah UNR inin Fire game 79 XTX ooo Bo that came out of nowhere but yeah they had different man the I don't remember these first time definitely a lot of them um but yeah it's a it's a hard to run game with this new new software new technology hard to run game but 7900 XTX with the 7800 x3d doing his thing doing this thing I can't complain all right moving on to the next game okay next game up we have Immortals of Aven and uh this is another title um that has FSR 3 so it's only two titles we looked at for spoken earlier um and then it's this one uh that currently officially has FSR 3 and uh just looking at the overlay up at the top uh man this is uh uh we at 4K uh Native settings right now uh VC is off FSR 3 is off um I think we already know what we would get you know just by looking at the FPS so let's go ahead and just turn on FSR 3 on quality um we'll start with quality first I'm thinking frame generation we may turn on U but let's start with quality first oh no I maybe I may need to go back and try try native CU right now we at 80 FPS and uh 73 with the yeah this is the game that does the magic and particles and everything I'm going to try native settings I jumped to the conclusion that based off of the actual menu screen that it probably couldn't do 4K native but I don't know because with FSR 3 I mean we're averaging 93 so let's check it out and I'm sor sorry I didn't even go through that everything was on ultra um fully maxed out across the board um I know I didn't show that at the beginning let's turn off FSR 3 you know if you didn't want to play this game with uh upscaling you can I'm pretty sure probably you know depending on where you are in some heavy battles like right now we're averaging 67 um but we definitely dropped below 60 on the 1% lows so I you know me personally I would probably play this with FSR 3 quality mode on uh yeah just to get the higher frame rate playing at 4K you know I'm playing on a 120 HZ uh OLED LG CX and I would rather have the higher frame rate playing this game I would definitely choose FSR 3 and that way I could be able to get close closer to 100 FS let me know what you think that in the comments below um we got one more game well actually we have two more games to check out moving on so the next thing I want to check out is actually fluid motion frames um I know I did it on the 7800 HT and uh we're going to take a look at it on the 7900 XT that we have here and I think it's a couple of things that we will have to driver that we have is the 23301 do2 and uh they made some updates to the actual uh being able to use h are now um I don't believe we can use variable refresh rate U with it um just yet um but you can actually go here up on the gaming the graphics and then click on fluid motion frames which you have to enable um antiag antiag plus is enabled with that but we're just going to check out cyberpunk I know we looked at that game earlier you know when we turned on R tracing with um uh FSR to Quality mode I mean was oh it was okay U so we're going to check out fluid motion frames to see if we could be able to get a better plan experience there we go all right so they both go across top and as you can see like across the top um it gives you the FPS you see how it's double um the FPS uh for MSI After Burner so MSI After Burner um you have three different FPS you have uh one is just going to give you the current FPS then um the average that's in the middle and then the 1% low and then for the AMD overlay it gives you the FPS and it's pretty much double which means that the fluid motion frames to frame generation is active Okay so let's just take a look um we're going to go inside the settings real quick I am going to switch this over to R tracing Ultra FSR 2 on quality C apply okay so here's the thing with fluid motion frames the native frame rate is 31 FPS if you look at the AMD overlay it says 62 right so fluid motion frames uh frame generation it's not perfect it's preview also if you look at the top right hand corner of the overlay for AMD it says frame gen lag and it says 50 Mill seconds that's that's the total lag time but then you have a average um frame time that's a little bit closer to the left that says like 15 16 milliseconds so that's in addition to the frame leg so yeah you definitely get lag but the way that this is set up if we're playing at 4K like we are now Ray tracing you know ultra settings with this is just it just can't do it I have a higher standard when it comes to the 7900 XTX over the 7800 XTX and the reason why I have a higher standard is because it's a, ,000 7,800 so you know we'll double the price of the 7,800 XTX but we're still nowhere near on the level of performance of a 4090 you know specifically when it comes to rate Trac yeah and then another thing if you pan too fast like I'm using a mouse and keyboard and if you pan too fast the fluid motion frames kind it it it goes away so it doesn't stay in place cuz we drop into the 40s you know when we Pan the camera around so um yeah um so can you do rate tracing you can but it's not a great experience because I don't use anything other than quality mode because FSR is not there yet with this upskilling so quality right now is rendering at 1440p and then upscaling to and then upscaling to 4K and so and as you can see you know still in the 30s or 40s yeah it's uh this is one of those situations where R tracing looks good but it's just not there yet you know from a performance standpoint for AMD and you know once you you know from a upscaling standpoint once you go below quality which the next thing in line would be like balanced or uh performance mode um the render resolution goes down which also the quality goes down and it's just not a great game playing experience so I just want to quickly show you what AF MF is that what it's called or amfm something like like that fluid motion frames I just want to show you what that looks like on the 78900 XTX and uh yeah it has a has a long way to go but I think the technology could work itself out later on down the line once they work out the Kinks and the bugs and you know make sure that it works you know with variable refresh rate and I think that'll kind of smooth things out um as well um but yeah so 7900 HX is definitely a 4K card can it play every game 4K 60 frames per second pretty much um but some games it needs help cyber Punk is one of them so uh I think cyber Punk and Jedi survival are the two games that was kind of giving us a little trouble um but 7900 XTX is a great card so I tell you what let's take a look um at one more last game that we're going to look at 1440p and that's Call of Duty Call of Duty um and you know what let me just show you what my settings are I'm playing at 1440p got 165 HZ monitor um I am playing on the balance preset and uh here's everything based off of balance and yeah let's see if we can be able to get into some action the 7800 x3d um I should probably up because it's not we're not maxing out the car let's change this to ultra there we go all right um I try to max out the car as much as possible um but if we need to go back to balance mode to be able to get a higher uh frame rate we will and as you can see we're at 99% but we're still we're still in the 200 so if you have a um I know a lot of people they you know they turn down the actual settings stuff like that 219 you know and this is at ultra settings and I'm definitely seeing hitching or whatever that is but it's pretty weird haven't experienced that and it seems like it it's only happening while I was going to say while I run but uh now that we on the inside the extra frame rate goes up of course we at 100% I'm going to keep it the way that it is I'm not going to change anything um sometimes it depends on the map depends on you know the level that you're on a lot of things change when it comes to the FPS and it looks like we need to hurry up and I definitely did not land in a good area visibility will beow gasing you can be able to see you know the type of frame rate that you could be able to get with a 7800 h38 then this is you know again I changed it to a uh UAV change it to we Ultra I was on balance and yeah so I think if you have a 1440p monitor and you you know 240 HZ you know you could definitely make a couple of tweaks make a couple of changes and and Max it out uh we're still averaging 230 frames per second 1440p you know what I mean so if you are a Cod player and you got a high refresh rate monitor 200 40 htz um I definitely say go for it you know what I mean definitely go for it because you're going to get what you need you know you got 1% lows 143 and like I said you know different Maps would give you different results um but I think this is definitely a go you know the wage on the C looks like we also been hitting around about 400 watts you know we only at 62% on the fan speed like I said I can hear my case fans my AIO fans over the actual car fans we're going to take a look at that and if you saw my 7800 XT video you know that these cards Sapphire Nitro cards they run crazy they run crazy quiet I knew that was going to happen anyways but yeah that you know they run crazy quiet so and then the card of course you know what running around 62° yeah you can't beat that the 7900 XTX is amazing it's a great card yes does it have a couple of faults when it comes to R tracing and playing at 4K and stuff like that yeah but it's only in those particular cases you know if you want to get pretty much like 80% performance between 75 80% performance of a 4090 for this price think this car was actually like 1059 but I got a good deal on it definitely worth it you know if you want to if you want a 4K AMD card you don't want to pay the idot tax uh so we're going to take a look at a couple more things and uh let's go okay next thing that I want to show you up next and last thing that we're going to talk about is the actual uh the fan speed and noise when it comes to the actual GPU and as you can see I'm using occt um across the top you see here we have the 7900 XTX say 65 degrees 405 Watts um we pegging it at 100% um that's the clock and look at that fan speed is about 1,400 RPM and and if we look so it says that uh we're at about 1,500 on the RPM and it lines up inside the trick software and the fan speed so it's a little bit over 25% and yeah and that's at 400 watts that's crazy and as you can see here here's the card the beautiful card yes sir and I'm in here I'm this close to it now I just going to be silent for a second just so you could be able to see you can't hear the fans and then as you can see we're close by the fans and I'll give you a mouse click for the reference can't hear thing and that's why I love Sapphire cars man it's amazing okay so I think the 7900 XTX Sapphire Nitro plus is definitely a go um I believe if you could be able to get through not having you know being able to use rate Trac in certain games and being able to use in other games then yeah it's fine but this is definitely a 4K car High refresh rate uh 1440p and 4K and I definitely think this is something that would be great for you I also edited this video um using the actual 7900 XTX um and it was able to render within like six or seven minutes so that's crazy I'm going to do a separate video for that but let me know what you think down in the comments below and I'll see y'all in the next video peace
