Make The Smallest Ship In Starfield | The Ruby Chigger | Glitch Merge Ship Tutorial

[Music] what up it's iFly uh this is just going to be a quick tutorial video well reasonably quick I hope anyway it's kind of complicated it might actually take a little bit but uh I'm going to show you how to make my glitched ship the smallest possible ship in SK in uh Starfield uh so let's go ahead and get started uh so we're I don't have any more of these at this Builder so I'm just going to delete that and start with a different one there we go um and for thing we want to do is start merging Parts together so start with these stacked and then duplicate it and you're going to get one on top duplicate it again and you'll notice that the the new one turned blue um that means I can place it but if I move after duplicating it it turns red so cancel that don't move except for before you always want to move before you duplicate so duplicate it place it duplicate it and now we got one below place it now we can delete the ones on top um actually I'm going to leave this one and you'll notice it's clicking between two places okay so what you want to do is click on well first duplicate this one again so we have one on bottom make sure we have all those connected together and now what you want to do is select all those actually I'm going to try the other way first because you never know which way is going to work better sometimes selecting the ship works better sometimes just selecting the part works better so this time we're going to try uh actually we're going to try duplicating it real quick and that didn't work so we're just going to select all these and hope for the best oops not that Dam there we go okay you'll notice now it is perfectly aligned so go ah and it's green so go ahead and hit okay now I can move you can rotate around it just don't move um so now we can delete that one delete that one and and these two are not connected but they are merged perfectly in the same spot to get them to connect you have to put something there anything that will connect to those spots will connect them together for example let's just use this and it should snap right on and now the whole thing is connected see that it's one piece so when I select it the whole thing gets selected and you know that it's all connected because I can drag it all around by selecting all I'm not selecting individual pieces uh so go ahead and remove that so next thing we're want to we're going to want to add is a Hab section probably so you'll notice that it's already merging really well into it so this is one of the easiest types of merges to do so um always make sure you it's been placed down somewhere before you do this otherwise it will not work uh so since it's already been placed place down you saw I picked it up uh all I have to do is change what kind it is so you can see up in the corner where it says companion way now if I switch it to store room and then just switch it back in fact you can probably just switch it once but I always just switch it back and then let go it's going to stay there so now when I select well I'm going to duplicate it duplicate it again and now just like before I can select all of them and then click there we go merged look at that now I can get rid of these two and now when I select all it's still not working uh so now again you have to have something that connects them together um things on the Outside Inside it doesn't matter but if you're going to put things on the inside you have to uh merge them by clicking something on the outside too oh that's kind of strange uh oh it's because I have multiple things in there so go ahead and again place it down duplicate it duplicate it duplicate it there we go um go ahead and delete that one delete that one delete that one go ahead and just duplicate that one duplicate that one connect them all there we go right delete delete there we go we got the motors okay uh so what's next Let's do let's go ahead and do this this is another really easy one so again it's already merging really well just get it really close and thankfully on this one I'm not actually having to use Windows very much and again since it's already been placed down so if if I just dropped this for the first time and it was still you know able to be moved around because it just got placed you want to snap it down somewhere first like this then pick it up and now you can start trying to merge it in like this if you have too much trouble and it keeps wanting to snap like that then you can try to place windows on all the sides I'll go ahead and show you that really quick so go ahead and pick a window there flip it oh that one doesn't need a window on the other side I forgot uh but this one does so put one there flip it put one there cancel whoops I forgot so uh flip it place it down place it flip it flip it place it and now there should be a window inside there and these windows have to be there anyway for this build in fact I already have them there so I don't know why I didn't just use those so I'll just get rid of those two windows really quick bam okay so I'll grab this one place it there flip it flip it there we go um now if I select all bam it connected so now I can just go dang it now just just leave it for now and then where's the other one there he is so grab that one stick it on there go ahead and just accept it it uh now we're going to want to place windows on the top um on the bottom oh that one doesn't need it place it there um another one there now we need the side windows place place that should be good now uh grab that oops grab it all now you can see I can totally merge this in see what I'm saying so now what you can do um is actually you don't even need these ones anymore so you grab that and bring it on in see that and now because if if it had the windows still on it I wouldn't be able to do this and that's a key okay so grab it bring it on in just get it roughly positioned where it needs to be flip it flip it let go okay leave it or you could just duplicate it and you can see it didn't go up if I go up it's not going to want to place so duplicate it okay duplicate it okay duplicate it it's not working so back up back up I'm just going to leave it for now back up until it's out of there okay just leave it for now um in fact I should be able to grab all that now yep grab it all and place it there we go now nope it still didn't work okay so now no still didn't work okay so we're just going to leave it for now it don't matter um because it'll it'll connect together later on when everything else is together uh so next we'll do this um you can see the landing Baye already got it and because all those windows are there I can still do this so flip it flip it f change the kind anyway when you flip this one it changes what kind it is see Bam Bam Bam uh cancel now it's there it's not working there we go there we go now it's all connected see that it's all connected now okay uh let's do the cockpit next cockpits a little different there's multiple ways to do it but I found that probably the easiest way to do it so you could do it by going above like this in fact what I would do is get rid of that and now take that bam right now duplicate it duplicate it the problem is it's going to want to keep going backwards right so you could uh take like the hab section and duplicate well that'll work no that won't work okay so you need the hab section so I'll just add a Hab section bam so connect it now still want to go backwards okay so that's why I prefer doing it this way anyway the first way I was going to show you so you drop it down see that you can't put it in there so you get real close just place it down now duplicate it move duplicate it move duplicate it move just keep doing that yeah I usually get a few in oops and then go back and delete a few and then duplicate duplicate D at duplicate just keep going o I moved duplicate I got to move duplicate duplicate duplicate that should be getting close enough at this point yeah see that so I'm going to go ahead and grab my window again place it down duplicate duplicate duplicate see how close it's getting duplicate okay move duplicate okay that'll work so go ahead and get rid of all these there we go now I hopefully when I do this it'll all connect to it bam look at that place down connected yep look at that it's all there it's all coming together uh next we can do this if we wanted see where's the other window at there it is so we need both those so uh this is again super easy because both of these can be flipped oh I already got a window there but it's the wrong one I want to place the red window there um and it connected right away so take this bring it on over here it doesn't have to be perfect flip it flip it cancel okay now you could just grab this no it's not wanting to place so you can just grab the whole ship grab it place it look at that now once again it's all connected see that uh now for all this so let's grab this and you'll notice that see these things connect together see that they shouldn't connect together why would they connect together see that that connects together too flip it look it connects let's cancel that so let's take this and because of and again this flips see that you can change its orientation same thing with this you can flip it you can change its orientation so you grab this just go ahead and place it on you want it to be facing that way so what I do is I know it's going to be three so I go 1 2 three there we go it's back so what I'll do is I'll I'll place it right where I think it needs to be just approximate flip it flip it flip it okay cancel now grab place look at that it's in there okay now same thing with this one okay put it about where you need it flip it flip it flip it cancel grab placed look at that Bam um okay all we got left is guns now so guns are super easy uh go ahead and get rid of the windows you don't need those anymore uh you do need these windows you need everything that's here now you need okay um that that one window is all or those two windows on the sides are the only ones you don't need but you'll notice right now if I click it all and and move it look those aren't connected anymore and that's because you have to have something on the other side to connect them together okay um I don't think I'll try something real quick so duplicate it move a bit duplicate okay okay if I grab that no they will not snap together on the same side um where's my thing at okay get rid of those get back to where I was I backed up a little ways anyway I think I'm good so grab it grab it okay yep so uh let's fill the gun racks okay I want one of those up there grab this one bring it on over that one still has a weapon on look at that um I was suppos to leave it um in fact take that off because I have to have one of these flipped flip bang you okay there we go place [Music] place um oh that's right I only have three of those um cuz I can't use anymore so place that there place that oh it's not wanting to for some reason oh that's right there's already one on there for something on there anyway um so go ahead and just leave that in fact I'll take that off put the missiles just to make it symmetrical for now so there we go we got those two done so what you want to do is in fact you need two more of the weapon mounts let's go ahead and do that flip it leave it okay so let's take this one it goes on the other side okay look at that place is no problem um so the the next one for that side you want to load up with the other weapons that you want so in fact I don't want that there I want this put that there put that there put that there there we go so now go ahead and place this one over here uh let's grab this one and you want to just get it real close you don't want it to be too far away you just want it to be right like that when it just turns blue there you go now when you grab the whole ship it snaps to it turns green you're good to go got the whole ship same thing on this side just get it real close just till it turns blue again come on there we go grab the whole ship snap there we go now you can just grab the weapon Mount pull it off you got all the weapons on one now go ahead and delete that grab the weapon Mount again put it back same thing over here grab the weapon Mount pull it off delete that one grab it put it back and there we go um same thing to get these though I shouldn't have actually deleted those cuz I still needed them so get rid of that go ahead and pull that one off there okay in fact that one need to be back on there I forgot um grab these on the bottom these ones they also go on the bottom grab those two let's pull them both over here grab one grab two grab the weapon Mount again get it real close place it grab the whole ship snap it into place grab the weapon Mount all the weapons are on one Mount Place it back down same thing over here just till it turns blue gra the little ship snap it go ahead and grab the weapon Mount delete grab the weapon Mount Place it and look at that just like that we got the ship back together look at all the parts are used and you'll notice down in the right hand corner it says nominal that means I can leave 478 hole I don't know what I'm missing what am I missing oh that's right the it's the other generator uh it's cuz I switched generators if I left that other generator here um I probably could have merged it in but whatever in fact I think I probably still have it duh uh reactor look for the plus there is um so it's going to be hard no I ain't got everything here I don't think I can unfortunately without having more of them there's no way to well let's try something so again this is the kind of thing I do I I think okay how can I do this and then I find a way to try to pull it off so I don't think this is going to work yeah cuz yeah this oops because it doesn't matter because I can't flip it anyway yeah ain't going to work I need more of them otherwise I can't do it there's no way to place it down in a way even now if I select the ship it'll snap to it but it won't snap in the right way as soon as I move it turns red because there's a bunch of stuff sticking out the front but that is the key to this whole thing the fact that if you have it close enough see if I move this away and I grab this and try to move it to it it ain't going to work if if I try to make it move to it but if the system tries to make it move it has no problem snapping so now again if I delete that I'm nominal oops there we go look at that let's go fly it oh by the way let going to go back in Builder watch watch when I when I these cuz people were wondering how this is possible well I was just tinkering around I I was trying to figure this out and in The Last Ship when I had the the cockpit out here um the way it wor I figured out how to make it work see watch if I remove that and I place that and I just delete it look one error cannot reach cockpit right but if I take this and I just got to get really close again flip it flip it let go grab the whole ship oh it didn't work or did it oh yeah it did never mind see look at that nominal see that the whole ship that's how I did my see look that's that's my last ship just this isn't red let just make it red so over over over over over over and there we go look at that it's my last ship but we can just back up to this this one there we go nominal go ahead and select um actually select that select that go here dink dink dink dink dink dink there we go there now it's all right um so yeah here we go Namo exit Let's Go Fly it there she be again you can't get in through the back the uh entrance is covered but you can fast travel to your ship handing this go ahead and get up as you can see you cannot see outside the ship from inside the ship so the only way to fly is in third person the only way to get out is to just fast travel somewhere that you can just start already on the surface or sit down in the pilot seat and exit that way um you can access the uh even though you can't see it you the ladders here you can access the uh dock um and again there's the view from inside I got these switched now but whatever it's the same thing it actually looks really good with the ladder connected like that actually um this almost looks legit if it weren't for like this janky stuff what up so anyway let's get in space by the way if you flip the dock the other way you still can't see and you can't sit down it won't let you it'll just spawn you standing in the ship um so let's take off Skipper Escape trajectory plotted there we go init and just like that we can't see so go to third person and there we go what's to good work Chief it's actually a nice little ship has a lot of hole too and the other uh generator that I had in here actually had 28 power and so it was a lot more powerful I had a lot more energy to feed to my systems but yeah there you go there it is the square ship or as people are calling it the uh little chunks what's up the chunks mobile anyway um I hope this proved my point that I wasn't using mods and uh you saw I had some trouble with it it wasn't easy if I was using mods I'm sure it would have been heck of a lot easier than that but you can see all the weapons are merged you can't even tell those missiles are merged together because they're perfectly merged but you can see in my uh gauges that they're full I have full weapons uh he's 197 speed right now at cruising um only three bars on my engine so it's super easy to get full speed on it um they're not very durable but heck man I got like you know 700 or 900 I can't remember how much um fact let's just check oh 500 hole that's right because this uh generator is different the other generator was a lot more um if I remember right and then my Shields look at that 832 Shields that's pretty Dam good for this little thing uh what was it 500 and something missiles or no it's 495 um probably because of uh something what did I do different anyway hope you enjoyed the video hope you learned something I'm not going to keep rambling but uh yeah uh follow this guide make this ship so just one more thing I wanted to show was uh some more examples of how I've you know used the glitching methods to uh make some cool ships so as you can see here I have the engines glitched in I have the uh the uh weapons glitched in those look really good on there in my opinion um I got these glitched together and just a walkway glitched in with the fins um oh underneath there I have my radar or my uh Shield I should say glitched in I got these glitched in on the sides right here to fill in that space on there let's see what else oh yeah the uh landing gear I have glitched on top of the generator um oh I have the uh grab drive and the fuel tanks merged together I could have merged it all into one spot and saved a bunch of space but I thought it looked really good like that the fuel tank down there a little ex SAU pipe looking metal pieces sticking out but yeah all kinds of uh merg together Parts anyway thanks for watching
