(soft jazz music) - Ever tried to make a card castle? I'll show you a really neat trick to make a card castle. So you gotta make sure they're lined up as soon as you get the first one. (beating table) Or you can try this way. (cards crackling) (soft jazz music) That works too. Welcome back. What's up, welcome back. We're doing a video in my kitchen today, because the light is great
and there's coffee near by. (coffee machine running) Ah. Hope everyone had a good weekend. Today we're gonna be looking at some more magic on Reddit. This time some of the top
posts in the magic category. A vote system makes it easy to find the good stuff, right? I like when somethings trending on Reddit because it's actually
trending in real life. What's up Youtube. Alright, let's get in to it and start looking at some magic. Oh, also, like this video,
smash and subscribe, do that. Okay let's go. Magician Bartender. (glass clinking) The flaring with the cups is insane. That was very clean man. Like that load, that was actually good, if you missed it rewind. It was really good. This guy's got great misdirection. He knows what he's doing. He's way ahead, he's
so far ahead right now. Ooh. - You know where that came from? - Whoa, that's smart. That banging, it's really good man. - Nice meeting you. - Clearly this guy's a
professional magician and not just a bartender. He's dabbled in the dark arts before. So this is your classic cups and balls, a lot of people perform it with a magic wand and a little ball. It's so much more organic performed by a bartender, in front of real people, with real props that they could see. And the props are actually being used to make drinks which is phenomenal. One of the things, like I said, that makes this great is that the twirling and the flaring and the flourishing, if you will, of the cups is actually something magicians do with a wand. Which is cool but in this case I think even cooler because it's done just right in front of you
with some more props. Let's look at the next video. Oh my God, okay so I know this guy. This is Mario Lopez. (chuckling) Not this guy.
(pop) Different Mario Lopez. My favorite Mario Lopez,
an absolute wizard. Have a look at some of this
magic, this is just insane. Alright, here we go go. (lounge music) (gasps) Dude, that is so clean. (lounge music) (laughter) (claps) Ho ho. Okay, what makes this so great right now is the subtleties. Mario is a genius when it comes to subtleties, the one thing
he's doing right now. Is when he turns his head
to the side, both sides. So he's showing the spectator that, okay, you may have a clue of how this is done. I'm gonna break that clue, I'm gonna destroy your mind right now and just go like this subtlety to look around, and you can still see the cigarette. The bud of the cigarette on both sides. Which is insane. (clicks) (lounge music) So he's doing it from the side now. He's like I'm gonna approach
this from a (chuckles), like if I don't look
at it maybe it'll help. (lounge music) He's so good this is just
theatrical fiction at it's finest. Wow. Wow, come on. (lounge music) (laughs) It's flawless. (lounge music) Oh and this, dude the choreography here is definitely on point. There's some more of Mario Lopez. His Instagram I'll link below. He posts some really entertaining
and interesting magic. Stuff that is just out
of the box thinking. (lounge music) What? That was really good. Have I ever viewed this before? I don't know, regardless,
that was really good. Damn (laughs). "Find someone that looks at you " the way that Shin looks at his cards." (chuckles) I couldn't agree more. By the way, congratulations to Shin Lim. For those of you, obviously who live under a rock Shin Lim
has won AGT Champions, FISM, he's fooled Penn and Teller twice. Literally, he's done everything. This guy can't lose. He's a friend of mine. We've hung out a few times. And he's really dedicated to the craft and really passionate about it. And I really appreciate this guy, so congrats to Shin by the way. A Different Type Of Gangster. (lounge music) - [Player] Stop. - He put the card bad. (lounge music) - [Player] Stop. - This is just like at a
Starbucks or something. (lounge music) That's really good man. Like, I probably could've done better without a blindfold. So kudos that's great. Great handling, very seamless. You didn't look nervous at all. Oh here's some actual cups and balls, this little girl. Check this out. (lounge music) Whoa, you can't even... Whoa! You can't even follow. She doesn't give you a chance. This girl's incredible. (lounge music) Okay, that's interesting. (lounge music) (clapping) Look how happy she is dude. Look at that face, look how happy she is to be performing magic to these people, and fooling the pants off her elders. I mean good for you girl. That's amazing. This is my friend Matt Whitaker. Shin Lim's Act Summed
Up, let's have a look. (intense music) I mean a little more sloppy. (chuckles) Oh the hair, you got the hair. (laughter) And the chest reveal. That's pretty good man. All in good fun of course. This guy says My ACR. ACR stands for Ambition Card Routine, where the card rises to the top. Magicians for years have been coming up with their own routines in ACR, and sort of making it their own. So this is his, let's have a look. - If I can have one of y'all
accepting a card trick. (Girl laughter) - Let's go boy. What's he using? He's using Fontaines, no joke. - Now take a browse. Take a look and observe
if they are normal. Check 'em out just like
poker, all that good stuff. The decks are... Do you have a particular card in mine? - Ace of Spades. - Ace of Spades. I knew you were gonna say
that, look in your pocket. No, I'm just kidding-- - (laughs) I was about to say. - So look behind the Ace of Spades. Okay, so the Ace of Spades, if you wanna get closer so you can see it. So we're gonna take the Ace of Spades, stick it in, put it in the middle. - Oh those aren't Fontaines,
they look like Fontaines. I guess there's all kinds. (laughter) - Oh crazy man. - (laughs) That's a good reaction. - We're gonna do it, let's say, like this. So you can see. - [Player] Okay. - Now look. Now hold that for me. Now just like that it
jumps back to the top. Wait, no, now look at that top card. It jumps over there. - [Girl] Cool. - Okay I'm gonna film
you this one more time. - They gotta love this man. - So one more time, the Ace of Spades. What we're gonna do, now I
want you to really see that. Okay, so we're entering the Ace of Spades. I'm gonna give it a little pat. Now, you can see that right? - [Player] Yeah. - Now look, focus on the top card, okay. Bam (snaps). You see it's jump? - [Player] Yeah. - That was great, I think he could've taken a little bit more
time with that last phase. I think making that card jump especially if you're gonna keep
that as your last phase, that moment when the
card pops up to the deck needs to be visual, so you
gotta milk that, ya know? I feel like the spectator
was so bewildered at that point when he had his cards. So let's react this last trick, right. So he takes the spectators card, he says, "I'm gonna bend it." Leaves it on the top shows it to him, see how it's bent? Puts it on top, now here's where you really want that emphasis. He just kind of went bam
(snaps) and it was already done. Take your time, say look at the deck. Watch your card, you can imagine it coming from the middle, all the way rising to the top and just about now (snaps). It jumps to the top. Now that is a great moment
and something you can digest. So the one thing about ACR is that it is a really powerful routine. You just need to slow it down a bit. And I understand that this might've been in a hurry and you just
want to get it with over. And you don't want to
make him uncomfortable, but at the same time,
he's loving the magic man. First trick, second
trick, he was all aboard. I say take your time, milk that reaction. That guys is there man. He's along for the ride,
you already got him in with that great magic, ya know. So, I would say take
him along for the ride, slow it down a bit. Make it a little bit
more meaningful for him, but otherwise great performance, man. Let's wrap this up with
one more performance here. (lounge music) That was actually pretty crazy. (lounge music) Okay, that might be the greatest thing. Cash Control, he calls
this the Cash Control. Alright, we got the sign four of clubs. (lounge music) Okay, I mean, definitely
not original, well executed. So, check this out. Classic gag in magic with stage performing is paper balls over the head. Where you take the paper balls, you make them disappear
but they're actually thrown over the spectator's head. Watch this. (lounge music) (laughter) (laughter) Clearly, this kid's fooled himself. Alright guys, that about wraps it up for today's round up
of some internet magic. I hope you enjoyed it and I hoped you learned a thing or two. These type of things are great for me, as well, because I get to witness people who are masters of the craft, as well, as people who are just getting into it. But it's all in good fun, obviously, as long as everybody
who performs this stuff is loving and their passion about it. Then there's nothing wrong with any of it. So, keep up the good work. Thanks guys for watching. And like this video,
subscribe, to the new here and we'll see you on the next video. Wednesday by the way is
when it's going down. We threw down some
votes on the last video, which puzzle you guys
wanted to see on Wednesday. So far, it's hinting towards Jigsaw, pretty much lopsided
but it's not over yet. Go ahead and keep commenting
on that last video and we'll see you Wednesday. Peace. (hip hop music)
