[Music] well I'm here at Frankfurt International F or here in Germany home of course to a Lufthansa who strangely enough I've never flown on a long-haul flight with them that's all changing tonight I'm taking their longest commercial flight from here at Frankfurt all the way down to 4 where nice airings in Argentine there it's a flight time approaching 14 hours long and I'm gonna be doing it on the Boeing 747 - 8 in business class of course on the upper deck really looking forward to seeing what Lufthansa has to offer on a flight of this length so come with me and we'll find out before I could go anywhere though I had to negotiate the massive maze that is Frankfurt Airport love to just jumpin up [Music] there's just endless that will corridors just like this [Music] seriously this is crazy now I can pull them in amazing really is if you never want to get fit and get your step counsel then come for a walk around front of airport we've got a security checkpoint now as well [Music] to go through all right it's about an hour after landing on my connecting flight as we're through passport check way through security check and we just gotta head to the gate [Music] senator lounge business lounge priority Lounge businessman priority to a seaport c16 well that's the gate we're going [Music] alright thank you [Music] all right so the Landry's are at the gate would you like a bit weird I thought before and she said that they're boarding directly from the land to the plane as well so I don't even have to that's the main gate area has but he calls me [Music] you have to say I'm pretty impressed the lot of times I have their own lounge right at the gate that I saw it the allegedly in this lounge is exclusively for the flight the we're on that when I say lease fly it's really cool oh my god he forgot some Argentinian be for steering so it's nice it about local dishes and things that you can have here and you bought directly from the lounge into the plainest be cool soon it was time to board and I headed across the lounge of the doors which would lead to the air [Music] [Music] hello good evening stairs thank you tonight I was sat on the upper deck of the 747 which meant walking through the lower deck and up the stairs to the compact upper deck cabin I've walked past these stairs many times before on my way to economy on the seventh or seven so it was great to finally get to see what was upstairs those intimidating okay [Music] [Music] right on board stairs on my 707 there's a 2-2 configuration in the sea and it's nobody that yes but I bet somebody else on it it sure was occupied on the seat okay so have a quick look around this seat there is first things first a ton of the storage all down the side here really big storage bins that's really cool and we have pillow they've given us sleep well set I think this is just I think this is just an blankets mattress topper and things for the bed of the bed of us the mattress here mattress here from the storage down here and lossless I mean it's a kit will go through that in a bit nice power down here too we were served a glass of champagne before we pushed back from the gate and the cabin crew came around handing out pajamas pretty soon the jet bridge disconnected beneath me and we pushed back ready stops on epic journey to South America the difficulty inspectin see guys go to sleep and proceed to the high cadencia hygienic on hot or temp work not a nice result disability villain from soon I therefore after a steady taxi we lined up on runway 1:8 for our long takeoff run our route for this evening sublights occurs west across Germany and France crossing the Bay of Biscay into Spain and Portugal from there we flew across the Canary Islands off the coast of Africa and down to Cape Verde then it was across to Brazil where we coasted in overhead the city of mataró we flew down towards Rio and Sao Paulo before heading inland to the Argentinean border after a slight deviation due to weather we started our descent down into Buenos Aires while we landed after a flight time of just under 13 hours there is an altitude today was thirty one thirty two thirty four thousand feet it's still enough to take off the service commands for the drinks round we've got a great view of Paris tonight let's up below us [Music] all right so here we are we are 31,000 feet about an hour of the signal from Frankfurt we've just crossed the French coast out into the Bay of Biscay over Brittany and so Eliott settle down into the seat I've got my pyjamas which I'm not entirely sure whether they have bottoms or just to talk about try them out about to get dinner service try and chill out you pay time right now is half past 10:00 at night so a bit of dinner I think maybe a cheeky glass of whiskey and then off to sleep and see how much sleep we get so the pajamas are just actually a top there's no pajama bottoms which is a little bit frustrating I can't really complain because not many airlines actually give out pajamas in business class so it's nice that the fans I do but it would be nice to get the bottoms as well because I'm still gonna have to sleep in my jeans but never mind that's probably on me for not preparing money a bit better one other thing I've noticed is a seat seems to be really high and it feels like I'm kind of sticking up above all the other passengers is really weird it's like I'm saying on a high chairs they can make a little bit little bit strange it would be nice if I could just be a little bit lower down in the seat very minor things to moan about to be honest because it's actually a really good flight so far dinner tonight was a choice of guinea fowl called or tortellini I chose the guinea fowl which was pretty nice cats [Music] after dinner I had a glass of whiskey which came with the chocolate truffle and then drifted off to sleep when I woke up we were overhead Brasil approaching the city of Sao Paulo it's now about 7:00 in the morning UK time I've just had about seven hours sleep isn't too bad the cabin lights came on and we were served breakfast today I opted for scrambled eggs with cheese which wasn't too bad but something a little more substantial wouldn't have gone amiss [Music] soon after breakfast the cabin service stopped as we hit some pretty bad weather and had to make a deep ation to avoid the worst of it lufthansa seven four seven - eight hop onboard Wi-Fi there's a choice of packages starting at 7 euros for basic connectivity or 230 or as for what is effectively unlimited access [Music] the speed of the top packet was pretty decent I was able to get 10 mech download which isn't bad at all four onboard Wi-Fi [Music] well we're now about an hour and a half out of one a series on left hands as long as flight after say four it's not pretty quickly I know I've slept for most of them but the cabin crew have been incredible the meals are decent they're pretty good seats isn't the most comfortable a few issues sleep in every time waking up in pain because it was quite narrow and it was a little bit awkward to sleep a bit I still got 37 hours sleep which is more then you usually get on a flight service pretty easy just having breakfast now bouts have a coffee then we'll start our descent down it won a series where we get to be a little bit early we're doing at the moment about half an hour early marker exhibit which is again really good move tons a thumbs up so far really enjoying the amenity kit isn't too bad it has an eye mask and unusual socks and toiletries in it I'm giving away this I mean theythey kicked up one of my viewers just hit the link in the description below for your chance to win it I was pretty impressed at the range of power options in this seat there's USB power in the storage bin and a 3-pin laptop plug in the front of the seat pretty soon we'll be commencing what is sent down into point Osiris which looks beautiful lit up in the early morning we touch down around 40 minutes ahead of schedule into Buenos Aires as Caesar International Airport welcome to one invited can't remain seated with your seat bones while from until they pass my flight today was part of a return trip and where it out at five hundred and thirty four pounds for this segment giving a cost per mile of just eight pence thank you very much thanks to me thank you estimate you see late thank you overall I was fairly pleased with Lufthansa although their business class seat is a little bit disappointing for a five-star airline the service was top-notch and the Wi-Fi was great if a little on the pricey side thank you [Music] even in Buenos Aires the capital city of Argentina and what a beautiful place this is it's a really pretty little city as a shame we haven't got much longer here to spend time look around today I'm here for just a few hours before my next why did I am back here later on this year and I've been taking a proper look around it because it does look absolutely stunning pretty quite down then with a Lufthansa from Frankfurt on board the Boeing 77 quite enjoyed our ride aside from let's see which wasn't the best it was quite a nice still flight down all the way down from Germany on look tons as longest flight I hope you've enjoyed the video that many of what you think - look Suns are down in the comments below but in the meantime thank you for watching take care and I'll see you next time here on in quite a video
