LOUISIANA Diver Duck Hunting (WE HUNTED OFF "THE TREE!")

what's up you guys welcome back to another episode of fallen tide tv today i'm meeting my brother we're going hunting the lake over here we're going on a duck hunt last time we pulled in here we saw a bunch of cans doe griez my brother went in there the other day saw a flock of teal so it's probably gonna be a diver shoot and we got a chance to shoot some other kind of species as well i've shot a lot of different species in this lake so hopefully we get a good variety of birds for y'all on today's hunt we're gonna be hunting underneath a big old cypress tree on the edge of the lake it's going to be pretty cool just the sheer beauty of being able to hunt underneath like a 200 year old plus cypress tree i think it's amazing we got a bunch of diver decoys not going to be as big as the spread from last time but still gonna be a pretty good spread so stay tuned and see what we killed today [Music] making my way i'm making my way to the tree and drew's already over there oh shooting all around us right now a lot of divers flying through right now i don't know how many of them are actually going to decoy with us being this close to the rocks but i don't know it's just cool hunting underneath a tree even if the tree ain't exactly the right spot drew said earlier he said uh he said this is his timber it's timber hunt for the year one tree this is hard walking oh all these rocks keep on moving shoot him drew good shot buddy you got a can dog all right andrew shot one degree but they do like the tree they do like the tree at least the singles do like cupping up in your face don't agree dog pretty bird a lot of flocks flying around about to get set up he shot his limited dogery while i was parking the boat two drinks you got your limited dogery that fast drew show y'all what we talking about all over there all right that's the problem is we about to be competing with a lot of birds look at them flocks coming up buddy cool dude got some birds there boy that's some birds there son all right that's what i like to see remember what i when i say sit back and enjoy the show that's what i'm talking about there's three right down the water yeah cool we just got buzzed yeah that's good bug i like getting bust hey go ahead all right get out of here get out of here get up get up get up bird that very stupid boy that's all right we got more coming dude oh my god there ain't no cooch over there that's all ducks wish i'd have seen that duck coming ahead of time this could be uh challenging drew i just won't want to come fly by because we can't let all these ducks land here he comes oh turn off to the right foam filled decoys like a little paint off you'll be all right i'm going to get these birds limited to agree go green don't agree sit back and enjoy the show drew because this might be all we get this is different it's fun this tree probably lived three of my lifetimes now i'm here for just a just a small sliver of time we already limited out on on doge for the day they had a few canvas bags flying around and they really didn't seem interested so i'm gonna go out there and push these decoys out a little bit further see if it helps [Music] good [Music] andrew wiefner made this tree famous y'all way too comfortable bro they think we talking cypress knees this looks like this might be cans drew this is canvas bags yup dang ouch hands worked that's a good sign i just didn't hit done yeah i got some dogeries coming in i put them in the boat so they'd be nice and cool this is when the canvas back's gonna come you know i got an orange in my hand blood orange asmr nothing's good bruh [Music] dude if i don't know i'm never gonna do this i'd have waited right i just been like let's just watch him for a while huh oh we coming back here tomorrow i'm coming back here tomorrow all these birds bro this is crazy i know i'm looking hard i'm i mean these things are turning into canvas backs the longer i look at him our decoys break out a whole lot bigger just now i have yet to see an another kind of bird in that giant flight there's another huge flock coming that's like teal is it is it that's a degree that's a teal i think yeah it's a teal i gotta see if i can't put another one in him yeah that's a teal bro i was shocked to see that about to go get that kayak i'm lonely to you confuse this because the dogery got that white stripe on her face that thing came out i said man i like a teal it's like a pretty bird oh yeah pretty bird get having blood off of wow he's a stud stud bird and drew said he was excited to shoot a different species other than a diver he said he liked to shoot puddle ducks which i don't blame him so when he went scout the other day whenever he went scout the other day he said that there was a few bunches of teal in this lake that's why he agreed to even come over here so i'm glad he got him on oh look at nate what a good little brother he jumped in that kayak and went go get my teal got me a stud nice i want to get a look at him dude when you're looking at birds whenever you're looking at birds in a lake with a white stripe on their face all right you think everything's a dogery you last thing you think to come in in a lake is a drake blue right so i was totally confused when he came in i thought it was a dogery and now i said no that's a teal look at the orange feet you know bright colored feet good look at him oh yeah he's pretty oh yeah he's pretty bro thank you you're the man huh see you the man put my dog to work yeah where's that dog we got two birds coming in i'm not sure what they are i think it's cans shoot that drake again [Music] uh yeah big pretty drake cam big drake cam is back beautiful bird i love canvas back that's awesome dude hey you got thank you i think i think you shot the first shot at him i think he did well the action pretty much slowed down for the most part so we about to start packing up heading on in tell you what we didn't have a bad hunt got a beautiful drake canvas back these things are huge i love canvas bag got the two-man blue bill limit and then this pretty little blue wing teal so i went a bad hunt we're actually going to come back out here tomorrow hunt the same spot it's going to be me and drew for sure gary may be coming with us basically the same thing that we did today the conditions should be very similar tomorrow stay with us because it's going to be a two-part episode i'm just going to tie in tomorrow's hunting with today's hunting we about to start packing up everything make sure y'all stay tuned and see what today i'm excited don't agree yeah that's a live decoy bro get in here heavy bro i hope they all do that yeah look at them leaving them little ripples on the wall over there they said site boys [Music] i know they didn't do this they didn't do it like that yesterday now they want it in here yeah yeah they're not doing no moving they're flying right down that that calm line like you like y'all saying it's like they just won't go across this glass water right here they were not doing that yesterday cool yeah that goat you wanted drew huh you want it you said your boss needs a cool or something yeah he wants like 15. so for everybody at home we sit up out here by the tree and out there basically all by themselves everything's landing but they're flying back and forth like crazy like right through here so we about to go walk along these rocks and we're just gonna go get in the fly away and see if we can't pass you them when they're coming over they got some cans i've been flying through there too so i might get lucky yeah yeah you get right here by this tree i'm gonna get further down now i never that big roseau patch it's soft that was a big flock right here let's see what these guys do hey i'm finna shoot at a flock of ducks what finna shoot at a flock of duck yeah one black come about to come right [Music] over i'm have fun getting that one see if i can't find this one i don't know where that berry went oh snap look at this oh my goodness that ain't mine had some crazy hawks and stuff and the eagles that's crazy people shooting cripples and them uh them hawks get off in here what the heck is going on here you got him already what the heck is going on this my bird just my bird huh i wonder if he came through in i wonder if his head got ripped off what is going on i'm so confused but i got my duck because if it was a hawk the hawk would have ate it i don't know what's going on with this but i got my duck that is the weirdest thing i've ever seen i found both pieces too lord have mercy big flock hell going over there i might have to walk further down oh man if i'd have been right in that little spot i got to move further down closer i get this way the better off i'll be i try to only knock one out of here too i need one to get by itself that's ring necks that was a [ __ ] ring next look like they could be cans i'll come over the top come right over me this is high that's high it's cans but it's too high i'm not gonna do that you're gonna have to be in range a lot of high flying flocks stuff i wouldn't really i wouldn't shoot at uh they gotta get they gotta get semi close for me to take a shot at him like i got enough birds out here we ain't gotta do that i'm just gonna wait him out wait for a flight to come over that's pretty low i'll bust one out of it real quick go ahead and start walking back i got a flight that just got up off the water flying low right now we'll see what happens these are fairly low now that they're rising up a little bit but there's there's a couple of them that are pretty low let's see what happens with these got him all right mark i'll see ya sorry philip all right hey hey what you got down over there same here had a few cans flying through they had like a pot of like 50 degrees right by the rocks and i snuck up a shot too though yeah i think i'm finna start walking back to the tree yeah yeah drew just got something over there i seen the splash on the water i feel like i need to get over there back to the back to the tree they got a few birds that's down on the water we gotta go pick up i gotta go scoop up a boat i always find myself doing something weird like this no matter what but it works if it works it works that's your two degrees i got a coot over there too that's though grease one on the legs gonna try drew out the shooting drew wait he's gonna oh shooting drew he must already oh he got it awesome i think he shot a can over there earlier huh i was a doger he shot earlier well he must have that must be his two doggies man that's a damn can drew shoot that thing he gonna shoot it or what that's a can shot it i think drew just shot his first canvas bay that's awesome uh i might have walked back to the tree i wanna go see what he shot maybe i could walk out there and get it hello might be cans i'm not sure don't grieve yeah i got two degrees and a drink i know i seen that i'm going over there to get a boat yeah gary got his two dogery also so we got a six dogery and you got a can right all right homie pick you up i'll come scoop you up real quick where's your other one i got a coot around there somewhere there it is i had the trophy of the day right here bruh trophy of the day bro shut down me who else who else would shoot that listen to some drake try to give me a drink yeah i got three drinks huh i bet you you could decoy some cans but like if you buy yourself in a kayak hitting just in the middle i did with them 12 mag oh yeah you can kill them out of that right there bro you probably don't even need no brush you got them holes right there though but you might just grab a couple willow branches or something and them holes and like put a couple of them like this like like in your seat right there a couple of small ones just to kind of break it up man you look like drew's dilapidated blonde over there hey i tell you what drew's bomb was in a good spot though we could have built it dude i want you to hold this can bruh look at the clod hoppers on these things man they got some feet on them oh knock me out that's a stud bro he's like thick that if he was gonna mount a bird it's a good bird to mount got a freaking shot right behind his eye oh yeah you got him good i wish i could have been in the blind filming him come in that'd been a sweet shot i know the first thing i looked for when i picked it up that's a huge daddy right there yeah it is keep him with you well it wasn't pretty but it's effective you know we had to go stand out in the flyway and shoot them while they were passing over sometimes you got to do that i guess uh we're going to build a blind going to try to find some birds in another area and drew's going to stay here try to shoot his last canvas back i'm actually going to leave the gopro with drew so that he can film if a canvas back comes in [Music] yeah you could definitely walk it's way more shallow than i thought it was yeah i know the beans is a little bit more soft it's probably easier to make a blind though it's gonna be way easier like if i point my toes i yeah over there in the middle somewhere it's getting there bro while me and gary are building this duck blind and drew is back at the tree trying to get his last canvas back so i stayed behind while gary and nathan went to go build a blind because i wanted the limit out of my cans for the day good choice i limited out on my last can the wind's kind of changed direction it's picked up i think i'm gonna go get him before he hits the bank and uh i'm gonna wrap it up for the day over here beautiful bird [Music] we can kill the duck out of that not too shabby we got the blind pretty much done next time we come or whenever we come out here just bring some more brush every time we come stuff up with more brush it'll stay looking good we gotta go back to drew now he doesn't shut up look at these birds anyway we gotta make it back to drew he just shot a great canvas back so he's done on dogery and canvas backs for the day so i'll make our way back over there at him what's up drew look at all the birds there they are that's wild that's awesome now we can't heck yeah dude audrey let's pick up these decoys
