lately too much are a lot of things going on in life trying to to get a lot of things outside of YouTube squared away and lined up I'm trying to get things in a new fashion and more of a professional manner I'm just changing a lot of directions and improving my system so that I can put more into my daily process in a timely fashion it's hard doing everything by yourself one thing like right now I'm am i doing today I'm getting ready to have my trailer custom well I got to get a new one of these put on today I went and bought two fenders we got brand new fenders if you can see right here like YouTube Facebook Instagram etc etc etc and so one of the things I'm working on is getting the trailer ready because I have not put enough do you like wear and tear is that life B the other trailers missing holes right here everywhere you look just things cuz there's no time in the world to do everything you need to so something's always falling apart see that look all that moves around and stuff cuz I need new screws just to hold my door on you know things that happen over time things rattle and we're gonna put logos on this side don't mind all my YouTube friends this one still says record collection which I've been listening to eBay I got a hundred records up on eBay probably whole band stuff there was a bunch of cassette tapes underground garage punk I put the stuff up for 5,000 or best offer but realistically I know my guy looked up five tapes alone and they sell for like 200 bucks apiece just these five tapes there are kind of recordings from punk rock concerts and stuff when people they practice that never underestimate anything a lot of people think because uh I'm a loose businessman so to speak I kind of just do things carefree and it's often perceived that I don't pay attention or look for things of value but more often than not you never see a lot of that stuff because I don't have time to film everything and what I realize has value like this binder when I first went through it it was kind of cool but I didn't consider it fifteen hundred or thousand dollars and photos I took maybe a hundred or two but it's things like that that you've got to learn to turn into extreme profit margins in my opinion so check out those tapes if you have it just if you want to get a good idea something of value that you might overlook in a storage unit use my strategy but sales is psychology so I list my item for a hundred with the best offer now anybody who knows the art of resale allowing a buyer to make an offer is how almost the easiest way to make some sales so I set mine high knowing I'm probably gonna take eighty cell afraid II just to see if I can a get more but B give people an offer chance so that they're more likely to buy the item because they've now got to talk me down so that's what I do on eBay but when I when I let go when I'm done when I put some up on eBay and I'm tired of it I let it go so basically right now we have 30 items ending tonight I started all of them at 69 cents because when you list something to ebay and you're the lowest starting price you get a higher visibility when people go to search for lowest priced item I've been doing it ever since I sold stuff I've never started in 99 cents an auction because everybody starts either at 99 cents or they set a reserve when you set a reserve you've already told the person that uh you you're not sure if you want to sell it when you set something with no reserve you've told the world you don't care so that's how I am when I'm ready to sell like today we five dollar Locker any day because it's more fun but a serious businessman and somebody who's just more about the economics of it and not so much the thrill of the hunt like I am I get it even about money for me you do what nothing you watched me last year lose my entire everything I lost my home my credit my money everything I did because I wasn't doing it the right way and doing enough of it and I had got kicked on the streets with $3 you watch me turn that around world washing I did it from start to finish so this very moment we're at now with $3 to back to normal work doesn't matter who's there or what it is I have enough money because I did some things with that $3 and flipped it and flipped and flipped and flipped it and flipped it and flipped it so many times it turned into year you know it's not just who we buy a storage unit we're rich it is hustle grind or wined it I've emphasized that daily that you don't that's why I don't suggest everybody jump in and spend everybody thinks oh I'm gonna go buy a storage unit I would throw $7,000 out and I'm gonna retire off a storage unit hell no that's why I show the auction vlogs so there's a there's a very essential mentality to why I show the auction vlogs often because people need to understand the amount of crap you must air to ever even be in front of a potential goldmine you have to go through like a thousand units to see the one unit if you go all-in on therefore that's why I like making the auction vlog so people see that that's something that's not shown very often the mentality of that like if you watch the show like storage where something they don't want to show you all that they just want to show you money shot boom right here like that it doesn't work that way no unless you Lana but Pablo Picasso's Locker I don't know if Picasso had a locker because I believe he died in 1972 there might be one laying around somewhere but I do know it's possible because I believe last year at a moving auction somebody found an actual Picasso in a two hundred dollar or 100 dollar vault that nobody wanted when did you stop giving purple hearts when because my son got one most I don't think 50 grand in the bank that is not how the business is rent the storage business is a chunk of money and you revolve that money you have mm to your name you go out and buy a thousand dollar unit of $500 you got $500 left in your pocket you go and take that and you flip it you get your thousand your 500 yeah 1500 then you make like another thousand off of that you take another 500 out to the 500 you apply that to your bills and then you still have 1,500 plus a little more merchandise and you roll the process and you keep using that same money so if I'm explaining that properly but generally the business is repeating or evolving the same amount of money over and over because it's a never-ending process is not just you go buy a storage unit and you're done you don't just go buy one storage unit milk that for six months it does not work that way as a consistent job so therefore it's a revolving constantly 50 cents gets you started a yard sale with the one item it can that's what I'm talking about Brenda you could take you go to you go to a garage sale right now with 50 say here's a hypothetical situation I'm broke I got a cell phone bills due in a month and I only they have left is 50 cents to my name you go to it like Brenna says you take 50 cents to a garage sale you buy a cassette tape right here here's an example you go to a garage sale and you buy this for 50 cents you go home and you put it on ebay on your cell phone it's due in a month boom now you have 20 bucks then you go back to another garage sale and you buy like 10 items and you put them all on eBay for five to $20 profit a piece again and flip it now have 150 200 bucks potentially because you did it so many times then you can go dabble in a storage unit because now you've built sure your investment power up but the fact is you only need $1 to auction it's just not you're not gonna get the world's greatest unit for it all it excuses sound best to those that make them I run my entire business off this right here everything that I do is off of the cell phone I film YouTube videos I edit everything that I get out of YouTube comes from the cell phone I find auctions that I go to daily with this cell phone I film them on the cell phone I take everything that I find I bring it back I come here and I do stuff like this eBay this is just dabbling 55 items I've sold in the last 90 days for a total of eight thousand one hundred and sixty eight dollars from a cell phone only 55 items I've sold for a total of 81 hundred dollars that's not a huge amount of sales for the amount of number that is all of it from a cell phone you could literally be homeless living it apart a ton of people gonna laugh when they hear this but you could be homeless living in a - the F word who calm down Michael you know you I'm intense whenever I'm about the cus you could literally be homeless in a park with a backpack and have your five items you got listed on eBay running a business trying to build yourself out of that hole there's no excuses it's that simple everything is done from this cell phone right here every Craigslist ad offer up every phone call made everything is done with that cell phone that's the difference between a teacher and someone just trying to tell you what you should be doing to teach us to release in my eyes to show first hands because that's the way I learn is through doing something so I try to share I like when I lost everything last year and I was homeless and only had three dollars to my name everything dude credit shot etc etc and no answers but I got a feed to children and put a roof over their head at all costs I filmed it all because there's no better way to show somebody how to be a storage buyer than doing with nothing I was in a hotel working every day trying to make the money for the hotel at $120 a night then you got a factor in your food and bills that still exist and having to make that on a daily basis with only $3.00 starting in my name what
