[Music] it's the night when champions are crowned welcome to disel Dorf for the IWF World Indoor Tour Finals some of the world's best will battle it out for a twenty thousand dollar prize and a place at next year's World Indoor Championships in China [Applause] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] I will welcome to the arena sport park here in düsseldorf western Germany with remaining nine I double AF World Indoor title winners set to be heralded here at the PSD bank meeting düsseldorf from the commentary box this is Chris temple and I'm delighted to be joined once again here on the I double AF YouTube channel by the european golden world silver medalist over 800 meters jenny meadows journey it's been a fascinating tour so far taken in five previous stops and we're set for some classic I guess climaxes this evening quality I'm really looking forward to watching Samuel tubero obviously coming off the back of that world record over 1500 meters on Saturday in Birmingham really excited also to watch the Chinese sprinter think I'm sooo going over the 60 meters he ran a world lead in Birmingham and the female equivalent of 60 meters promises so much as well undefeated polish athlete Eva sub odor taking on Marie Lucy tell you and Daphne skippers to see some of the athletes arriving and getting familiar with their surroundings here at arena sport Park Dusseldorf over the course of the last 24 hours and earlier on today as well we are packed out with the best part of 1,500 people here inside the arena and the athletes in good spirits as well with high stakes up for grabs here in western Germany this evening so here are some of the names jellies referred to a couple of already papal mass lack going for the 400 meters overall Tour title he's battling with the American Nathan Strother for that title it's a shootout over two laps the pole vaults fascinating Angelica's Sidora bet against Caterina Stefan ad their level on points so far a win for Sonora for this evening who claims her the title there is the world record holder over 1500 meters Samuel to firer he's in the mix with yak of ingebrigstsen a fascinating battle of two teenagers on with petrol burgers and in the women's triple jam the world champion indoors and out you Lamar Rojas needs just a top four finish to guarantee herself the 'iw World Indoor Tour title that's what we've got coming up over the course of the next hour or so the first page of the events on the way and we're kicking off very shortly with the women's pole vault which does Pitts adore over against Stephanie deep as we move into the second page of three you can see the 60 meters women's final will preach to the like centers for boda and skippers and talu as well men's 60-meter hurdles Ortega Jarrett Eaton and then we conclude the evening with what should be a great women's 800 meters that's all up for grabs as well on the tour title and that men's 1500 meters two of the Inga Britain's to fearer bergen among others so this is what's just concluded here in the arena the women's shotput was the first athlete their first event to get gumming an eater Martin the world champion from Hungary finishing in third place this evening with 18 minutes and 80 meters 34 fairy rows of Sweden to accept a place at seven points on the tier with 18 meters and 14-7 a herb best effort but the title went to Germany's Christina shrine X the home favorite we just needed a top four finish and she crowned one of the first places up for grabs the wild-card to Nanjing on the high double F world indoor title Championships with that put which even as she found in the last round she was delighted and certainly the home crowd was delighted to see a German winner and there is confirmation that full results open the killer of Great Britain has been in good forwards or just below her personal best by three centimeters there a troubling the 80 meter line in fourth place but Schwalm it's confirmed as the overall I double AF World Indoor begin with 27 points from Maggie Yuen and Jessica Ramsey so there's a signet inside the arena as we say we are about to launch our next few events and the pole board has been a fascinating contest right throughout the tour this is how it stands going into this evenings final events that catered a shot of the USA is not here so Sedona and Stephanie D currently in position Lisa Newman of Canada is here so she could very much if something went wrong for the two leaders have an impact on that race as we meet yeah as the silver first of all the 2015 world champion who's only just kicked off her season in Birmingham on the fifth leg of the animal and world indoor tour next is arena Zook of Belarus recent winner of their National Indoor title [Music] there's Alisha noon at the Commonwealth champion from Canada just a couple of points off the lead at the moment if she could win this evening and we'll remind you how the points are allocated in just a moment's time as well and she could just throw a cat among the pigeons it's billed the sitter I better get Stephanie this is Nicoletta Kiriakou Pulu the european silver medalist from berlin here in germany last summer did a good forms include her personal best for 81 this season there's the Olympic champion the world champion the European champion Katarina Stephanie who's been battling a little bit of illness in the last few weeks but she said that burning at the weekend she's coming back to what she feels is somewhere near her best and finally we meet Angelika Sidor over the world indoor silver medalist from just under a year ago in Birmingham last week and she is equal to her personal best this year of four meters and 91 so he's coming to this is probably the forum athlete so reminder it's ten points for the winner of the individual events so the scoring events here on the top seven points have become second five if you come third and three for fourth so certainly Neumann win 18 points and said over and Stephanie D with 20 each or will have a shake-up for victory if there is a tie by the way in any of our scoring events of their level on points it's the best individual performance at one of the Tour events and at the moment Sidora ver with her personal best jump of 4 meters and 91 at the Madrid meeting she would take the title in for example Stephanie the Astana that didn't score any points this evening but certainly this one team we've got we've got Kate image up here but we've got certainly three of the other leading athletes in the world this year that's good to see ya this silver as well I think they're a bit of extra competition if she gets her year going yeah it's great to see her back I think the women's pole vault is one of those events that's really taken off we've seen Stephanie it is unbelievable consistency what's it a robo you know she's done 480 at the weekend at the Russian charms coming off the back of the 491 in Madrid there really is just a contest between how consistent these girls can get and really who can clear you know how first time clearances at some of the bars as well yeah we see kiria Kapahulu there on the left too as we mentioned has equaled her lifetime best which was set previously back in 2016 so what three years apart but 481 to take third place in the Birmingham corn free at the weekend so keep in touch with the poll bought the first time will be 4 meters 37 as we move to the track then and our first event is the B race of the men's 1500 meters a predominantly local foot with one or two international athletes as well scattered around we kick off with the B race and events 15 and we conclude later on which was very much the a race not just in the 15 but probably at the whole evening here at the PSD Bank meeting in Dusseldorf if you have just joined us very welcome you are indeed live on the IWF YouTube channel we work for the outside then well on the outside will be the pacemaker oh my Gemma from the ocean set a national record on a lifestyle vest over 800 meters very recently twenty-three-year-old said its best athlete the divorce are well below some of these athletes attempted the 1500 meter contentious fastest in the field on paper is this Matt Lucas it Bailey home athlete from Germany with his lifetime best set this year of 340 428 long side hemlock junior championship representative from the temporary 2018 champs last summer Muhammad Muhammad also Germany we move on to the second group towards the inside Maximilian Feist on the Left have shot there he's also in good form he said oh yeah three forty seven seven personal bests this year three times a national champion of Finland in the black and green units who are in that also advanced novice this year so mostly is athlete to come into this off the back of some good performances Stefan back Heinrich is set to 800 and 1500 personal bests this winter while Berta miss of Luxembourg the national champion over 1500 meters on the inside a local athlete from the düsseldorf sued Clark Maximilian tour with support here for a tour with 700 laps on the track there the men's 1500 to be race first track action here so where we go the athletes will run the first bend in lanes we'll talk about the fact it's only a four lane track here as I'm sure you're just noticing if you haven't already here at the arena sport part which ought be interesting later on certainly but in the very early stages the pacemaker jammer settling down at the front of the face tracked by Lucas Oh Bailey and Muhammad Muhammad behind then Jen had it's a four line track effect things it's very different actually most of the indoor tracks are six lanes so obviously you've got a little bit you know wider bends so actually looking at this track it's very tight we've got long straights and really tight curves on the bends so you can see this race straightaway there's not much space and it's pretty strong about straightaway I think in some of the races later on when we get a little bit people you know with similar personal bests it will be very very tight the space but um yeah we can see this race near being really really well their biome ajoomma he's requested to do around about 58 seconds for the first 400 meters and looking at the clock he seems to be absolutely perfect fifty eight point one three seconds so jam of the Gambian doing a good job at the head of affairs I like the get off of Lucas of failures well the headband certainly very eye-catching and Mohammed tucked in behind him those two separated by a couple of seconds on personal personal really a bit of a gap opening up too tall with a local athlete from the distant offsuit Club who's in fourth position then comes Papa Tim it's the Luxembourg national champion and then Ulis Mrinal III time to champion of Finland but still the pacemaker gamer at the front of the field yeah it's great to see that the athletes would go in with this place as well this is being placed around about three minutes forty finished position and you know they do come in around about that that will be up there with a lot of these athletes personal bests so really great to see that a bell is really took advantage of this totally how do these track you've at the moment just started to move her and meet you or two away from Mohammed who's trying to hang on to the leading pair in a further gap of what now is that about six seven eight nine meters back to Maximillian tall with in fourth position but the the front two are away on the trail of the pacemaker as they go 300 meters yeah 800 meters slowed a little bit there they were hoping for about 1 minute 55 it was 159 so that's obviously taking with way in advance of her 340 now but I'm too great young athletes here following the pace 21 year old about third in the German champs recently over 1500 meters followed by Mohamed who was fourth in the German chance over the 3k we see in pace making at one end of the scale here for a mojo he's still putting in experience nearly 23 years of age is still a very decent 1,500 meter runner up and coming 1,500 meter runner in his own right as he steps aside or is that a step aside I think I Bailey just said excuse me could you please step aside he's done really well state them things far you know and a thousand meters just 500 meters left now but I felt have really just grit his teeth and see what you can do really good to see a young athlete just take advantage in front of a home crowd here and just really it's up to him now how fast he can run over these last two circuits that was certainly a very gentle assuring of the pacemaker a sight wasn't there for very long as if Jan would have forgotten that he needed to step off it at that boy were sailing a little little that legal nudge we will see a bit of where as you say I'm sure dusting up a little bit later on on these type girls particularly and the 800 meters as well but it's Lucas abuela coming around at the moment and take the bell on this occasion he seems to have this one one already relatively long straights here as well in the arena sport Park license where the color and Lucas abili on to the final 200 meters his personal best is 340 428 he was a couple of seconds faster on paper but the rest of this field at the moment he was strung out behind it's Mohammed Mohammed be athlete and finished 6th in the German champs at the weekend in there a lifetime best over 3,000 meters he's bouncing off this in good form over the long distance as well but Lucas he barely just couldn't it clean his teeth he comes up towards the home straight is going to be just outside his personal best I think of 340 428 as he comes up towards the line now Lucas availa takes it 346 23 the winning time ahead of in the end for three times national champion of Finland unis Rinna came through to take third place [Applause] yeah that was a great race to start off with wasn't it you know just came in just a couple of seconds behind his personal best their Mohammed feel it finished him really really strong as well he won't be too far outside his personal best and his season's best which was also set this year so yeah what a great tone to start it with a men's 1500 meters and as you say Chris that should really be the climax to the evening watching it a race toward the end of the meeting yeah we have the probably the the most well known pacemaker just behind Jenny Meadows probably these days the O's currently the pacemakers just been put to bed for a moment it but Bram ssam who already placed two World Records at the weekend is in the post making chair you see me let's pick up the ball bought live Shelley will confirm that 1500 meters be race for you fully shortly yeah is this silver second attempt coming up here at 4 meters and 37 so modest item that an appointment now is he's certain we're just struggling for a little bit of fluency there so two times earlier at the 437 lesion Newman is the one athlete who came in at this site who cleared first time Irina Juke about to take her second attempt yeah as the silver as we say the experienced campaign the 2015 world champion from Beijing third in London in 2017 in the end the World Championships form indoors going back to 2014 that pause when she took Thea the World Indoor title in support as well 450 she jumped at the weekend gym but she's capable of 482 so for her very much easing her way into our years the team yeah definitely Birmingham was her first competition of visit of the year indoors and 450 was a decent start for her so I won yeah she's already down to a third to ten now a third for 37 that'd be nice to see her go clear at this next time the Belarusian champion arena shook her second attempt coming up here for meters in 37 this time it works out for her fresh off factor performance again for her at Birmingham at the weekend for weakest 61 no clearance in there which actually is at least said to me too sure of her indoor plant best set last year of 462 so again she's coming here with hope of maybe nudging that a bit higher with some world class opposition alongside err I think this is the time to do it just before that European Indoor Championships which takes place in a couple of weeks I'm in Glasgow well well clear of that so silver will come back for a third attempt at 4:37 Stephanie Lee by the way it's passed through two for me 262 sidorovich you to come into the competition of four meters and 57 the three male athletes if you like we're coming in at different heights but yeah as the silver at the moment the Cuban has got it all on to make sure that this is not a wasted trip over to Germany third attempt at 4:37 that's a bit of a surprise but yeah as the silver as we say there's obviously still a little bit of a rust in the system that is something to go away on work on for sure yeah definitely I think sometimes when you've not competed for such a long time sometimes things in training could be going really well but when you actually come in for everything in place in the competition environment looking at all the external things as well you know especially she'll be so aware of what the other girls are doing she's coming into his competition know that girls are clearing it except of 480 guards so it's interesting you know she did come in at 437 she's not opted for the higher height straightaway like the other girls so I think she's very aware of where she is at the moment so we're on track with the women's 16 meters now this is one of the titles that has already been won by Eva spoder those are the standings then confirming that swaboda has an unassailable lead with 30 points she's unbeaten so far this year she's at the top of the standings skippers is here so is talu so if nothing else along with personal performance looking to upset the unbeaten record this year of leave us for voter but this is line up for heat one first two in each heats and the next four fastest will go through to the final which takes place later on 7030 local time on the inside we meet the spanish indoor bronze medalist from the recent championships Cristina Lara six times a national champion of Spain 736 her lifetime best from lane one lane eight Naomi Sydney he finished sixth actually and the Dutch championships at the weekend in 742 Lane to the under-23 European Championship bronze medalist over 100 meters from 2017 Cena Maya but in the German support as well in lane seven Yasmine Quadro a national champion World Indoor Championship representative last year parasite lover is the national record holder of the Czech Republic also now the Czech champion as well [Applause] for Great Britain Emani land sicko who appeared on the Turin leg of the I double-f world endure to as she clocked a 723 season's best you can see on the caption they're just outside her personal best european championship rule a gold medalist and as we move towards a sensor lane for World Championships silver medalist over 100 and 200 and over 60 at the world indoors Mary Jo's a talu who's been very consistent this season and lisa-marie Quay the new German champion from the weekend and a lifetime best of 719 which actually said in the heats of those German championships in Leipzig so heat one of the women 60 metres the scoring event first to pass the next four fastest reached the final [Music] so when they go first time talu got out very windy lunch so they're quite as well but it's Tyler at this stage not Atlanta Co coming through Thalia and lanta code from quite the 1-2-3 7.14 unofficially for Mari shows 8r Lu and I said to have been consistent so far Jen this year prior to today she'd run for 7:15 a 7/16 and a 722 so that again is right in the ballpark again there for Mary Jo Zeta Lu and she's it's amazingly consistent even within hundredths of a second she is being tracked me to see whether the clock gets rounded up or rounded down but no it's been confirmed season's best seven point one four seconds she was good from the gun I was watching her actually at Birmingham who she was great in the heat but didn't quite get that same explosive start come the final but if we watch her here you know she powers toward the line it's only 60 meters but she was pulling away right from the you know 10 meter mark and she's back to sell the place in that final later on and see how she goes she's got a terrific start didn't she quite was actually quite slow away alongside of which much of you emphasized I guess how good a start talu got Lance Ito came through strongly towards the end as well as she looks to close out her indoor season she's not going off to the European Indoor Championships is it opted not to take that target on this year miss the British Championships but talu the Lancer Co the two automatic qualifiers and it will have to be a wait-and-see fork ye with her 732 to see if she will go through now it's one of the the next fastest so pole vaults Nicoletta Korea Kapoor Liu has been a first-time failure by the way for most Zook and Newman at 4 meters 47 this is kiri a Cthulhu's first height of the competition at 4 meters and 47 said it is great to see an athlete coming back to fort Lisbon having sent that first or best back in 2016 to be matching that hi again three years later and again I guess the level of competition that's around in the powerful at the moment is really rallying other competitors yeah it's great to see a back she's a familiar face from that you say a few seasons ago but she's here now with her first attempt oh it was good wasn't it she just rattled the bar on the way down I guess having a compactor it got to be the Stephanie Diaz well he finished one and two at the European Championships in Berlin and of course I guess rallying each other on us as much as the rest of the competition from from the US the moment were like two initiatives Andy Morris is like that from injury of course as well there didn't she but just didn't get across the bar yeah she does course it with a quad on the way back so yeah she doesn't have the height she got the power she's a real physical specimen you know she's very very strong very very fast on the runway but she's got to more intensive ignite confirmation enna peat one of the women 60 meters Tarlow that's a season's best by 100 per second and Lance ago the two automatic qualifiers and choir in say lava will have to wait to see if those times are good enough so the fire to the arena the athletes getting ready for it to the women's 60 meters intimate arena here as you can see at the arena support park in dusseldorf 1500 or so around about is the capacity tickets sold out a long time ago she's only about 10 or 12 rows of spectators the track is very tight as well as we see the starless p 2 of the women's 60 interesting name at the bottom of that list there as well as there's some of the stars in the middle and lots of skippers and Swoboda tell you more but the name at the bottom of that list in just a second if you're not familiar with norwegian sprinter on the inside first of all your analyst Herrera Abreu the Italian champion lifetime best sets this year equaling her lifetime best actually of 732 from Lane one Astrid Ingebrigtsen then who is the wife of Philip Inger it's in the middle of the three Ingebrigtsen brothers two of whom will be seeing later on she is a Norwegian national silver medalist over 60 meters Chantal books act into our VV pleased to be him on a look of it big smile on her face the 21 year old home support for the European Junior relay gold medalist from 2017 Jennifer Montague also in lifetime best form this year 736 [Applause] jimena Samwell the European 200 metres bronze medalist finished second in the Dutch championships at the weekend and Apeldoorn behind the ladies alongside her here setting data skippers will we get to hurt guy Nevins who is the defending World Indoor Tour champion remember these events are scroll down every two years so events that weren't scoring last year of scoring issues the last time this was staged was the title holder Daphne skippers dutch champion 7.18 she ran that season's best to win the Dutch title in Apeldoorn at the weekend targeting the European indoors and here is the Tour winner already scintillating for the 21 year old joint world leader with that 7:08 just recently been tied by Switzerland Smith jinguk penguin g eva swaboda looking to maintain her unbeaten record this year she's got skippers on one side and Diane Evans on the other heat two of the women 60 once again the first to automatically reached the frame why they go Sloboda away well guy Nevins got a good start we know skippers come strong in the second half of the race now sir motor started to be challenged by skippers but its promoter on the lane 7.20 I'm pretty comfortable with definitely skippers closing on her out sir they've seen a lot of each other on this indoor tour so far and they're once again close on the line but her voters seem to have that she looks like she's hardly even stepped off the blocks there yeah we saw her then you know almost a sigh relief you know I'm glad that's over and skip has got quite a good start for her actually and she's obviously a great athlete over the hundred under 200 and slightly favored the 200 meters so yeah if this started really well but the boda that's her strongest part of the race her start and yeah she she didn't stop particularly well for herself but it was good enough what she saw the athlete there inlays who trans help you to just twitch a little bit I was doing whether they were gonna call it back or not but yes the boder was just in cruise control there and Daphne skippers just dips to the line just secure that her second place finish and the qualification for that final later on this evening it's really into her running so quickly submergence gets those arms moving in the literature the first two strides they're always up to race pace on there you can see deftly skippers alongside her just taking that a little bit longer to get going which is a bit taller she's as you say a lot more powerful so skippers and Svoboda comfortably through 721 and 723 respectively let's pick up the pole what then Kiriakou Pulu second attempt with Alicia Newman having gone clear and arena Duke having gone clear at 447 can Carioca bulu join them in that clearing 447 if you like joining us we've already lost a former world champion now is Lee silver over there and no mark after three failures at 4:37 no problems this time for Kuryakin Pulu who is the bird athlete clear at 4:47 the bar will go up to 457 which is where we'll see Angelica Syd or over the authorized new triathlete who has just recently won the Russian Championships jointly in the lead of this Idol f world and daughter not only this event is real physical but it's also to do with strategy you know when do you decide to come in what bars do you attempt obviously that settles have clearance Evo their athletes go you know clear on the first attempt a larger height that will weigh them in really good stead but it can just be no coach it's got a little bit B but their confirmation of the results of p2 there and there's small cues on the right hand side of the score card there are the automatic qualifiers the next fastest so the capital huge for boater in skippers and Samuel and Evans have gone through to the final as well on experimental launch will be the women's triple jump and that is how things look so far it's not quite done and dusted yet because Rojas and mimouna are both in the field today ten points for the winner don't forget but Rojas currently in pole position anything inside the top four in the points-scoring positions will be enough for her we see the athletes scent coming out of our show we entrance here with the lights and the fireworks where we have put sir German bronze medalist in a lifetime best of 1346 of the weekend in position one Deauville is in zealot I T of Lithuania national silver medalist with 1396 recently just a shade below her first door best Tomica position 3 or be Janina Sonya's suit French silver medalist 7 times a national champion overall but not this year Jenny Elbe the German silver medalist 1376 European Championships representative within in world champs finalist in 2017 as well [Music] susannah Costa of Portugal recently a lifetime best for her and when the Portuguese title you'll hear me saying office of national champions recently because with the European doors coming up lots of national championships took place at the weekend Christina Markkula set a national record in the Madrid meeting of 14 metres and 38 here is the defending World Indoor Tour champion Patricia mimouna who hasn't quite given up her crown just yet 14:44 not only her personal best bats also a Portuguese record set in the McRib meeting when she finished third shooter finished third in carl to arrive at the start of the competition and this is who lamar Rojas the world champion indoors and out and she well and carl turret at the start of this tour she looks at a look that rusty had a few run up problems but then she sailed out to a world lead at a personal best indoors of 1492 in madrid so she's certainly coming into this in some fine form as well as we see confirmation of the eight athletes who will contest this but row house yeah where did she pull that jump on that sir the week or last week in Madrid genomics Ridge thinks the erm event just really like top didn't it a lot of national records personal best seasons best so yeah hopefully these leaders would have carried that for months to here this evening will keep their bang up-to-date with the women's triple jump as we pick up the pole vault then arena Joker's the bar has gone up to four meters and 57 first of the athletes to attempt this she's taken second attempts at both for 37 and for 47 you read a second attempt at 4:57 as well twenty-six-year-old on student games champion from 2017 feel bit inconsistent this in the last few weeks or so done for 456 in Madrid for 23 in a meeting in Poland and then for 61 in Birmingham this is vaulters there are some days when it just doesn't come together isn't it every room way is completely different and you know you can see that sometimes especially they you know the triple gem that we saw that you're saying cause you're a lot of people struggle to find those speed on that runway a lot of the surfaces are quite different so yeah that were to see how the competition progresses it seems to be whether people jump I get out to a good distance in there in some of the horizontal jumps got more games gold medallist Alicia Newman of Canada who battle back from a really serious injury it's great to see her back vaulting at a world class level certainly at just 24 years of age lots more to come from her as well bronze medalist from the Commonwealth Games in 2014 upgraded that to a gold on the Gold Coast in 2018 set a national record actually in the first meeting of this tour in Karlsruhe she's attempting four meters and 57 say Syd Oliver will come in at this this height as well intimate Rina here as we said which means that none of the athletes very close to the crowd as they make their way around on the outside of that trample so they're the vaulters and the triple jumpers probably jumping and falling about close to spectators you probably get most place in the world I think isn't it's very much like a training environment isn't it Ivan likes feel and I think hopefully that will really bring it out of the athletes I think sometimes when you can relax you know just go through the motions focus on yourself get you know 1,500 people behind you supporting you the crowd now are watching just the pole vault a really Clutton Alicia Newman and there's a smile and she can join there you can see just how close to the crowd are they're just a few meters away from Alicia Newman she takes on 457 for the first time yeah very good smile of a start on the runways obviously the key happy jumper Azalea or happy vulture is a successful vaulter and demon with those Olympic rings on that necklace as a guess a memento of her appearance at Rio 2016 she's 57 over the first time period proven who goes next yeah she's really enjoying the job pit isn't she I was listening to what she said in college or you know once she's got back from injury she's just grew up great to be back out there again so next on track we move to the men's 60 metres hurdles and this is how things stab and again most of you good at math you'll work out that gerra eaten at the top of the table there cannot be caught 30 points from 30 ante to early score a maximum of 30 points their best three performances across the six tour events get them 10 points and therefore 30 is the maximum you can get these are the lineup for Pete 1 an interesting name in Lane 6 that we'll come to in a second nothing along side is season's best performance because he's just come back from injury first of all though in blame one we have Rubin Walters former Alabama University students set his best last year of 761 representing Trinidad and Tobago alongside him polish champion from the weekend 771 Damien Shakya fourth of the European Championships across Germany and Berlin over the 110 hurdles last year in late seven also for Germany and his fifth in the final in Leipzig of the national championships Maximilian via experience twenty-eight-year-old the German champion from the weekend was this man greater trauma around 762 to take his fifth national title Andrew Posey the World Indoor champion the European Indoor champion had written off the indoor season with a quad injury all of a sudden he's back in Lane six was named on the Britain team for the European indoors fitness pending this is very much part of a fitness pending Freddie Crittenden up-and-coming US athlete 759 he ran in Birmingham at the weekend his first ever run under 760 indoors boys best must have been on our bond go on Fred I think Jarrett Eaton alongside him the small match with the World Indoor silver medalist already the Tour winner the success is in Turin and Madrid and Birmingham and eaten and posi of course alongside each other here links five and six were the one and two of the World Indoor Championships at Birmingham last year separated by the slimmest of margins but Fozzy is back we didn't expect to see him he goes out of Lane six how fit is he heat one of the men's 60 meters hurdles first two plus the four fastest losses through to the final Oh so recall first angle we saw there wasn't the best for us to judge what exactly when I ask that heavy taping on the back of Jerry whose hamstrings there that's not for decoration they oak kinesiotape there is a obviously stomach niggling away let's have another look at this as we could tell from this angle here to be anything particularly obvious there general be just a little bit of movement possibly on the far end yeah I'm looking again just like good start not necessarily you know a way before the gun but yeah let's leave it also there to the judges and the officials those are the reaction times and as you can see their attorney meadows spotted it Jarrett Eaton in lane five is out he came here newing knowing already in one twenty thousand dollars and the Dynamo left World Indoor Tour title and he's not even get a chance to celebrate that he's out that's a shame that's not what we wanted to see we definitely wanted to see the head-to-head between himself Ortega and Kristen may be palsy as well if he can get himself back into shape but uh yeah we just see that he's definitely the first to rise I think particularly all the guys got a really good start he wasn't you know there wasn't quite and day between him and himself and the others but you know he's took it well you you can't argue with statistics in the air he was under the allowable limits so yeah unfortunately and six go he miss wheet well the vest says not sponsored and I'm afraid the result list says not running apart from out of the arena Jarrett Eaton he'll be back to get his prize later on but not probably in the way that a year he won tattoos but my little European tour the US Championships of which he's won the last couple fara this weekend coming in New Yorker as things stood only one he wasn't on the official entry list on the USA Track and Field at website so we'll see whether he having not run here whether we either or he was planning to go back and it can test that but certainly the posi against Eaton battle five and six is all of a sudden posi against a vacant lane heat one second attempt so no problems this time pausing a bit sluggish away got away very well Traver in lane three going well in Crittenden alongside him it's Crittenden now posi started to come through he finished very strongly there Andrew posi not surprisingly a little bit of a circumspect start from him coming back from injury it was Crittenden who took it cause he was closing fast at the finish he was pressing didn't did what actually were expected of him you know he's had a great tour so far for second in Birmingham let me say first that we came with a personal offense cause he wasn't great out of the blocks but he really showed some strength over that last two barriers here we go we see it again Crittenden got a really good start as dict rubber and we can see now at this stage you know fourth and fifth barrier positive really comes through obviously outdoors it's the longer equivalent is the nother 50 meters or the 110 110 meters so yeah hopefully that bodes well for his outdoor season but Crittenton you know he's smashed four of the five barriers but he's a powerful athletes and his speed took him all the way to the finish so Crittenden 766 and posi 717 the automatic qualifier so I guess if you try to prove you've finished the one thing Andrew was he needed to do amongst other things he's gained a couple of races into his legs so getting food to the fire always the the first part of the job done for him this evening yeah he'll appreciate another renow in a couple of hours time yep you won't have quite that long to to recover type turnaround here the men's final is at 7:38 local time 638 GMT so once he got 40 minutes or so to get himself organized those the two automatic qualifiers with trauma and buyer having to wait to see if they will get through those as well as at Shakir the chamber Jared Eaton who as we say has been a good ambassador for this - it's great to have the top athletes these he's competed as we save in Boston in Turin in Madrid a couple of other meetings in France in between as well so it's been a a proper European tour for him it'll cause no major champs for the American athletes to aim for as well so for someone like him who is obviously a bit of a 60 specialist and bit like posi really my guess for him to have a an indoor season it's quite a big part of his year yeah it's obvious that his plans the mathletes decide to you know give their indoor season immense a lot of Americans have decided not to travel over to Europe obviously with the World Championships and Doha being so late in the calendar but you know he's decided yeah that's what he was gonna do he took their tour victory and gives a little bit of a victory lap even though he didn't manage to compete here but it's been great to see him this is round 2 of the triple jump then is his Purtzer of Germany currently in fourth position there was a host of fouls in round Juana's but this one gets a red flag so she joins that list of fouls of a fouls for sin zealot ITA of Lithuania assigning a super France Makela of Finland and mimouna of Portugal Rojas 1357 in round one the second place actually Susanna Koster went out to 1381 which is the lead but a a scattering of fouls in round one as we just see Rojas who's based in Madrid of course coached these days by open Pro so this is dou viens alla tighter though of Lithuania we had some good news in her household today which will tell you about a second as we see her in round two after a foul in round one out towards thirteen and a half meters a white flag this time said the Lithuanian is on the board a partner of course is Great Britain sprinter Richard kiltie the defending European indoor 60 metres champion who didn't make the Great Britain team for that event but actually has had a special invitation from European Athletics and now will be going to bars go yeah great for him you know he's such a great athlete two times the World Indoor champion and European Indoor champion so great that we'll get to see who complete their legacy Vogel as well back in the triple jump pit and that was measured at 13 57 by the way which puts her into second place at 6:10 the very early stages of that remember Rojas just needs to finish in the top four momona could deny her as we see a sunny Asuka France after a foul in round one [Music] that is a red flag around to struggling with her rhythms so far [Music] which is joining us a very warm welcome to the PSD bank meeting here in düsseldorf as we prepare for heat two of the men 60 meter hurdles the I double F World Indoor Tour Finals on this Wednesday evening here in the western Germany those your seven athletes chasing the two automatic qualification places to mid-60s hurdles [Applause] the German teenager just 18 on the inside Stephan vault sir while youth finalists in 2017 alongside him the South American record holder at 60 hurdles and 110 hurdles Gabriele Constantino of Brazil produced his best performance of the winter in Permian at the weekend running 762 the newly crowned dutch champion Kurt Schmidt took the title with 775 in Apeldoorn II at the weekend the defending World Indoor Tour champion out of his reach this year with each and having its own up at Orlando Ortega the olympic silver medalist european bronze medalist won this two years ago silver medal in the German championships at the weekend for Eric Baldur veidt's who goes out of Lane six very busy winter he's had for the 10 competitions this winter meal and try Kovich serbian-born but representing Cyprus for seconds on his record this winter and a third in Birmingham at the weekend in solid form 754 just outside his personal best Aaron mallet er of the USA as you can see that the season's best of 756 also his best performance indoors he comes here fresh from Birmingham at the weekend as well so those your seven athletes for heat to the men's 60 meter holes first to remember automatically qualifier for the fine volts off the inside Constantino Ortega try kovitch mallet bound the fight and Schmidt problems with this one as well this is actually something we've not seen too much of and all their Ida Blair World Tour Series not really seen many false starts whatsoever so tuner oh yeah you can imagine if it was a no the championship final everything was on edge but we're in the heats here there's epsilon - no it's quite rightly full of athletes this might be the climax of their indoor season look at the finish on the highs we have a little look here immediately obvious is it no it's probably one of the biggest maybe track of it let's hope not they certainly seem to start the best but again you know there wasn't light and day between themselves and any of the other components look tighter than the first one we're eating on the slow-motion replay you could see his head came up literally a fraction of a second before the others but there it looks more even if anybody's looking guilty it's Erin mallet I was going to say you can always tell account your fun facial expression got to be an actor don't don't look don't look yeah behind his is lane number there the red cards coming well it's or tiger so we've lost eaten and now we've lost or tiger so we've really have lost the two big guns with the greatest respect of the returning Andrew posi from injury we've lost the to inform athletes from this winter who've been on the circuit turning out some good performances and neither of them are going to be in the fun let's try and watch this again get a great angle of that one there he's had a lane three or tiger there wasn't a whole lot in that no he was just the first her eyes but again it looked a pretty split you know start he's the ultimate professional though you know you are allowed to go over the officials to us can you see the evidence you know and he's done that straight away he is walking back toward his lane so I think he may actually be in I think he might have actually had a look and maybe he can run under protest or maybe he's just decided that you know the stats are right imagine if there was a opportunity to run up the process that Jerry would probably have taken that as well but I'll take her there it was certainly very very marginal wasn't it but the red card has seemingly been withdrawn certainly if Ortega just going back to his boxes sir is the the market or I guess of that we haven't seen that reaction time this time but comes back in great that's what we want is the here we run aetherium going this final so folks are still got a bit a little bit of a decision here while this is sorted out [Applause] on there so we'll sort this one out for you but again as you said to him we've done what three of these meetings now we're in Karlsruhe and we were intolerant and we were we're here this evening and we haven't seen many full starts across the 60 meter sprints all the hurdles but certainly a nestled Tigers just put it the pressure from the officials in my side against and they'll until you sort this out it's a rather than walking off yeah he is going look they've been called to the marks back in then a short-lived disqualification for Orlando Ortega so from the inside bolts of Germany Constantino Brazil Ortega Spain try cabbage of Cyprus mallet USA bound the white Germany in Schmitt near as the camera of the Netherlands first to automatically reach the final no problems this time China got away well and I'll take you further away pretty also going well Constantino at the stage and outside their mallet better coming through it's ortega from mallets and from try commence that's the one two three so I'll take it could've been forgiven for sitting in his box slightly second time around they're not taking their chances but 758 was his winning time unofficially yeah it was quicker than the first one the first one was born in 766 he didn't sit in his gloves he made sure he wasn't really and I'm just keeping my eyes here on the officials to see if anyone's coming over the encouraging thing is we didn't see the you know their marks come off at beginning we didn't actually see the reaction times so this makes me think that it was fine but yeah he did he really sat in his blocks there and didn't get the best of starts but when he got going from hurdle 3 onwards he just pulled away and he had you know daylight to spur at the end 7:58 the exact same winning time that he produced to win the Spanish title at the weekend as well when her in Turin second in Madrid behind Jaret Eaton but comfortable for question four take a hold about a few nervy moments sir waiting for that disqualification to be overhauled as we pick up Cinderella tighty in the triple jump round three currently in second position that one won't be measured row has fouled in round two so the leader who actually improved her position is Susanna Costa of Portugal who extended her top mark to 13 meters in 94 in round two fresh off that lifetime best to win the Portuguese title at the weekend of 14 meters and 13 so she's on an upward curve in a moment she's got a couple of very good athletes behind her but stays as it is at the moment with positions then that Ronis will be the overall Tour champion as we see the confirmation of Ortega and mallets progression as automatic qualifiers to the final later on yeah I'm looking at that third and fourth position for eventual Constantino they look like they'll make it through to the final as well this is what cost have produced in round two it's happened a couple of moments ago 1381 was a first round effort and extending that out there to 13 meters and 94 so Susan a cost to of Portugal 34 years of age so by some way the most experienced in the field when you forget sometimes that rowhouse is still only 23 yes she's a name that we've known for a couple of years now isn't she 23 years of agents really dominated this event for the last two to three years yeah when you think of it that the impact she's had of winning those global titles it's still 23 what's the common of course triple jump is still an evolving very much an evolving event isn't it for women as we see the women's pole vault is definitely with one foul already at 462 two fouls was deafening yeah we're seeing quite a lot women hit more foul than these early stages we wouldn't expect definite about fouling but that's what it felt like that's actually her first Belgian sort of soldier down the river slightly there so that was a recording of her first felt a couple of moments ago so Stephanie he's still counting on one failure Newman has failed first time at 462 cubic Kapahulu and siddur over up past so we're back on track with the men's 800 meters this is a non scoring event on the tour but still we're set for a couple of fascinating contests over four laps here this is the lineup for the first of those two races you get a four lane track here means below the shared lanes but it's going to be very interesting as we see how the athletes deal with these very tight turns press till we meet on the outside yan van den Broek is the pacemaker three times a national champion of belgium while his inside the man who's just picked up with the 800 and the 1500 national titles for hungry balayage bin ditch [Applause] bitter ball of Australia it's got his compassionate Jo den going in the other 800 meters that final here but 147 70 his lifetime they're set in Ostrava recently Alvaro de arriba the European indoor bronze medalist from 2017 an errand Potter Minh of Belgium on the inside there 800-meter national champion also in a personal best of 148 0 - where - to see Cornelius - one of Kenya as well DNS so way first time so a bit more room for a pitiful of Australia outer Lane 3 and he's the one who's shown the form coming into this and he tries to get himself to the front he's got obviously found and put the pacemaker outside him who will lead them through the first 200 meters or so so it's found a bit the pacemaker from bolt just in behind him comes dear Reba and now on the inside approximate of Belgium and towards the battlefield at the moment vintage of Hungary it definitely only having five athletes in there race definitely helps with the spatial awareness sometimes some of the meat directors could put seven or Aysen and it gets really crowded on a four-lane track but this looks like all the athletes would really set themselves up to try and run a really good place as the following the pacemaker birth he's looking to come through in around about fifty point five seconds so just outside that so fifty 198 for vanderbrook the pacemaker as he leads both Rudy rebo's just come off the back of a silver metal performance at the Spanish Indoor Championships but Peter bol who moved to Australia from Sudan at the age of eight when he moved to to Queensland he's based in Melbourne and coached by Justin Rinaldi and certainly has made some big strides over the course of the last 12 months or so only finished seventh actually at last summer's Australian Championships and has improved considerably since then so it's Bali takes the Bell from vintage Dior eBay and Ottoman yeah 200 minutes ago and everyone's still in there so I think the time has gone but it's getting really really competitive right now so they moved down the back all of a sudden do rebirth a Spaniard the European indoor bronze medalist from 2017 strikes with a hundred meters left to go and takes over from Bosch vintage at the front of the field d Arriba driving it's quite a long straight year still lots of work to do up towards a line as he chases a time 146 64 from Alvaro de Britta's seasons bests comfortably by a couple of seconds and he takes victory in race one of the 800 meters we pick up the pole vault and this is live pictures of stefanini from second attempt at 4 meter 62 mid newman having failed twice at 462 as well Stephanie looking for her first part of the competition and she gets it so Stephanie our welcome parents at 462 her competition is on the run your first high it's like yeah it was another competition for theory brand a hundred metres down the the home straight as we're to see a repo Stephanie who's as we said had a few problems with illness but again she's given up plenty of air isn't she and death she's the one where I guess with the mark or her back initiative everyone wants to be let's pick up the triple jumper briefly as we move into the concluding stages of around Fritz's Christina macula of Finland mm our first two rounds but that is out towards 14 meters for macula and that was measured at 13 meters and 96 and that is enough to take the lead for the fin in round three two centimetres ahead of pasta row house live round three oh hello red flag unfortunately when you look at the distance first and the flag second sometimes you get excited marginal really so she's in great shape when she gets his all on that board she's going out to us so Rojas she's trying to see a replay on out I'm afraid you know mark you definitely did hit the plasticine so I'm like this full start to the 60 feet of hose works down the fresh and I'm afraid of a spike market the plasticine it's a bit of a giveaway so there's confirmation on that first race of the men's 800 meters victory went to D Arriba that's the best down the list there for Erin Ottoman of Belgium as well a PETA ball actually afraid it to finish fourth Ania so six athletes will go in the second of these races but on the outside shown wages at the Netherlands will be the pacemaker in this one survey jizz actually has two national titans of Holland to his name as well [Music] 23 years of age alongside him the man who is unbeaten so far over 800 meters in 2019 one in Carteret a lifetime best of 146 52 to the swedish title on sunday as well and Deus Karma Josef Deng the winner in Birmingham in a messy race at the weekend there were fallers a real pile up on one of the Pens but Joseph Deng came through the win at 20 years of age he said an Oceania record in that race one of the fallers in that race was going live more from the the left of that shot for Great Britain who's off to the euros as part of the quick Britain and Northern Ireland team in his native Scotland he with the new German champion just 21 years of age Robert farken got a fraction outside his personal bests this year come on on the inside Fabian spin raff another of the German athletes getting the home support so again a reminder this is a non scoring event on the I double F World Indoor tour but for the likes of krama and for Lamont's there were going to be going to the European indoors this is a key part of their preparation but keep an eye on Josef Deng of Australia after that would in Birmingham the weekend what we saw just what indoor racing can be all about over 800 meters in that race in firming at the weekend when marcin lewandowski was caught up in that guy limb on that she's running with a bit of protective strapping on his right wrist I think there was a really broker broker phone and his right wrist in me in that fall but we see the pacemaker phages go to the front track biting and trauma and they actually went off button the pacemaker has managed to get different Dame right on his shoulder followed by crumber followed by learn monk and they're going with this pace so pages the pacemaker steps aside and it is Joseph Dean who very much like Peter bol in the last race of Sudanese heritage but also based out of Melbourne it also coached by Justin Rinaldi he's the leader as they go through fifty to one night or 400 yeah a little bit slow people and I think sometimes when this happens it just becomes a real race Dane gears at the front it's a long way to lead promos just on his shoulder he looks really strong it looks like he's following the pace nicely followed by learn month and third position and these guys it just remains the same as what it has on the beginning thing from Kramer from LeMond from bar conference practice so guy limb of trying to get himself a bit closer now he's a powerful figure but it's andreas krama as we say unbeaten over 800 meters this year he was second in this last year behind Adam cos shot who's not racing indoors this year and it's krama down the back who makes his bid for home but Deng is still realizing there's plenty running left and farken the German champion from the back of the field is just passing leer month as well as it starts to Constantine er up on this long straight still plenty that can happen here as karma now is challenged by Deng down the outside farken coming to krama he's done enough krama wins it impressive turn a foot from him into strength to hang on krama from Deng farken was finishing well from Lima 148 to one the winning time yeah that's promised fifth race Tree Hill look really good 1:48 finished I'm not as fast as what we thought we would see not as fast as heat one actually de RIBA run a couple of seconds faster but that was actually true room race the pacemaker actually couldn't actually get them to 400 meters he stopped it about 350 but when Kramer really put his foot down he did it at a vital point just before 200 meters to go Deng had led behind the pacemaker just about 600 meters and when someone decides to take over from you at that point it really just have to keep working hard keep the faith keep the belief but you know Crum is really really powerful he's working really hard here you can see his legs are fading but he's pumping his arms if your legs won't go use your arms and he manages to take the victory and yeah they win out of five and again exciting up-and-coming prospect for Sweden it's just 21 andreas Kramer the European under-23 800 champion from 2017 represented Sweden in the world indoor champs in Birmingham when a year knocked out in the early rounds but certainly been the opportunity to go to the euros you have to say with a decent chance of getting something done there as we see the composit that has the two heats put together there and as Jenny Meadows alongside me says dear RIBA the fastest across sir the two heats and a personal best spurt for bottom and their third fastest overall so we see over the comm flap here going on in the women's at triple jump there's a some sort of technical issue there between the Circosta is interested and certainly the current leader Mac and of course competitors are being reordered at this point so they're just checking who's going in which position competitors reordered of course on this side of her life world indoor tour after three rounds and also then again after five rounds with the leader jumping last to create a bit of drama and a bit of tension also for I guess the benefit of the leader to be able to decide exactly what they need to do and the competitors as we go back live to the pole vault we're at 467 at the moment and this is a second attempt binnacle a tequila Capullo alicia human is passed at 467 so is stephanie and so as Siddhartha who has won clearance on her car so far at 457 so curia purple here second attempt and four meter 67 and it's good it's good from the 12 times natural champion of Greece again we say it's come here with the bounce factor I guess 481 a equal P be in Birmingham at the weekend we talk about whether a fleet can produce again or four days later general talk much more about that with Samuel tafero a little bit later on what can he produce four days on from that incredible run in Birmingham with some of the competition he's got but 4q iacopo I guess in four field athletes as well who were I guess a lot of rhythm and things and no technical aspects coming together I imagine competitions relatively close together of course it's physically demanding as well but I'm sure that the rhythm and the momentum you can build up as we see in the triple jump patricia mimouna here who had three fouls in the first three rounds but the good news there as she did get a white flag and that was measured at 1398 so it's getting very tight at the top and that has put mimouna into the lead and interestingly enough it nudges Rojas down to fifth position now of course Rojas needs a top four to take the overall indoor Tour title mimouna win and row hats finishing fifth give it to the Mona so we're on track again with the men's 60 meters this is another other non-scoring events that is the start list it might be non scoring but we've still got one of these star turns of 60 meter and hundred meter sprinting these days right in the center out of lane one first of all the US bronze medalist outdoors from 2017 Christopher Belcher his best is 672 to the outside we go and the Germans silver medalist from the weekend in Leipzig 667 the best for Mikhail Paul the Dutch title in a lifetime best of 663 at the weekend for your Istanbul [Applause] none of the Americans see old University Games silver medalist Bryce Robinson also competed in that burning is actually run over 300 meters as well as a host of 60 meters this winter as well Emery Barnes the world indoor finalist Balkan champion in Istanbul 669 he ran Hassan Tufte and the national record holder of Iran over 60 and 100 meters based in Paris fifth in the world indoor final in Birmingham last year over 60 madmen the star of China souping Chan 647 e round at the weekend in Birmingham is the Asian record holder at 6:42 is the meeting record holder here as well set last year alongside him is the experienced America Mike Rogers 33 years of age he finished third behind Subang Chan and perming on the weekend when he ran at 6:54 so remembered all scoring events one straight final men's 60 meters Subang Chan already the Asian indoor record holder he's around 652 and 647 there's two European appearances over the course of the last week or so what's he got we're in düsseldorf this evening in 60 final Belcher off the inside van tled Bart's Subang Chad Rogers Taft Ian Robinson and Paul away first time sue away well Barnes long sigh didn't got away above us ooh moving away now soon powering up to the line six point four nine unofficially for Subang chan just outside its performance at birmingham at the weekend but Subang chan once again building himself up nicely for what could be a very exciting year for him world championship level as well job done three out of three for soo big chat on his little European tour 649 the winning time yeah that's different but this time in the world this year he's really dominated it was really great to see the no problems at the start after what we've seen in a 60 meter hurdles I was kind of holding my breath but that's the race that we wanted to see he was very dominant didn't probably get the best start both the guys on the lanes outside him actually reacted a little bit faster than anybody you know from about 20 25 meters out he really really dominated and you know even could slow down just straight through the line so six point four nine seconds like I say just a couple of hundred slower than what you ran in Birmingham but great to get again under 6.5 seconds yeah he's turned out three sub six for other three the performance is just either side a 6.5 seconds in the space of a week as Subang Chan good performance and price robinson by the way it took second his best of the winter 657 that mike rogers the same time finishing in third so to the triple jump we go with you Lamar Rojas in fifth position and currently seeing the I double F World Indoor Tour title slipping out of her grasp what she got here this is Round four again this is why is it look good but I'm afraid it's another foul when she gets it right she's amazing isn't she we know that she can go out to 50 meters probably a frustrating evening for her here she knows she's got the distance her self on board that she needs to improve at the moment by publi centimeters only we see Stephanie Lee live at the pole vault here and she aborts that one that was a first attempt at 472 again there you mentioned it earlier on Jim is a lot of tactical campaign going on the pole book as Kira kupuna is passed at 472 Sid Oroville fault at this height as we pick up in the triple jump and Michaela who's just lost her lead the Finnish athlete to mimouna at 1398 two centimeters ahead of what McCullough ground a white flag a little oscillatory plant herself there but it looks in the at the high 13 meter mark again 1398 is the current lead we were expected so far 40 meters and 5 4 Makela so she takes the lead gets it back from Patricia mimouna so it's a matter of let's have a look how much is separating the top few in the year the triple Makela 1405 has the lead mimouna 1398 in second cost of 1394 is in third so 11 centimeter separating the top three to see confirmation there that distance for macula assignee is soo 1358 in fourth and then rotations in Xela tightiy are currently tied fifth in 1357 this is live with round five from omona just seen her lead slip away white flag and that looks good yeah it doesn't look good that looks in excess of 1405 from what I what I can gather let's see well a shake of the head from Patricia mimouna there but certainly that looks pretty good we're not at a great angle here actually where our live comedy position would be on the finish line here as we see a replay this still wave the distance come up on our computers 14:22 confirmation that mimouna takes the lead back Mikayla was in the lead for the space of a minute so again impactful at the top end of the leaderboard for the iwf World Indoor Tour title in the women's triple jump row house started tonight on 17 points mimouna started it on 10 10 points for the victory from omona with robots currently outside the porn story positions this is round five for maria Purtzer of germany currently in 8th position the best of 1292 and that looks to be short of that in the penultimate round for the German but exciting competition here and I don't think I think yes if you said to her you've got a finished in the top four to take the title and take $20,000 by the way this is not just a little trophy in a medal you take home this is a some serious amount of cash as well as the prestige of winning the I double F World Indoor Tour title at the moment row has something we will take back Germany if she wasn't editing cars were fantastic competition in Rubens Madrid the back in Germany it's not happening for again live with the pole vault Stefanie D with Newman having failed twice at 472 Stephanie B will have her second attempt kyoya Kapoor who by the way is the current leader with her clearance of 4 meters 67 no one player for 72 which is at this site still no one clear stephanida will go to a third attempt for the first time first bit of Jeopardy for her in this competition we've seen some great heights up between all the competitions this year in Birmingham those three ladies over for 81 okay this pole vault continues towards its climax there's a climax right now on the track it's time for the women's 60 metres final so these are the actions from the heats earlier our Mary Jo's 800 in the orange in the center got out extremely well chased owned by a Marlin Lancer Co of Great Britain though the with a lot of two automatic qualifiers who made it through to this final qui also going through finishing in third position the tallow again extremely consistent and this was the second of the semi finals with Swoboda and skippers in the central lines and ster Botha with that trademark strong start and skippers with her equally I guess trademark strong finish and they were the one and two taking the automatic spots in this women 60 meters final which is our next track event here so just after half past seven local time wherever you're watching us around Europe around the world very warm welcome to disel Dauphin myself Chris temple of jelly meadows with you as we meet the athletes for the final of the women's six Demeter's which is a scoring event don't forget mus remote as it so enough aside lover just loses her bearing slightly forgets where the start of the 60 meters is Clara cycle of her fourth in a heat takes Lane one we go one to eight here Lisa Marie choir the German champion 742 in her heat we just got her one of the outside lanes guy Evans who's about to relinquish officially her I double F world indoor Tour title from two years ago when this event was last a scoring one she has Lane two after a seven thirty poor performance in the heat to be in the Samuel 7:34 she ran in the heats for the Netherlands European 200 meters bronze medalist and here is our champion can't be caught eva swaboda 7:08 that time she's sitting there heats in Karlsruhe and the first leg of this tour she's just seen Claire bungee of Switzerland tie it and the Swiss national championships cancel Oleg about white world leader again Mr Leland sicko of Great Britain 21 years of age an up-and-coming British sprint talent she has Lane six and the last two lanes would be filled by already two very decorated international global stars Murray shows a taro multiple major championships silver medalist over the last couple of years she has lain for 714 in her heat the fastest time in the world this year and last to emerge from the tunnel Daphne skippers a double world 200 meters champion and the newly crowned dutch champion over 60 meters building up towards the European Indoor skippers the last ahead to the start line in the center of the arena sport Park here in düsseldorf and the women's 60 metres finals for Moto remember unbeaten so far this year but skippers on to Lu coming into this two certainly with the form to challenge her Jenny brothers yeah both of those athletes coming in with personal bests because seven eight the Dutch championship to the weekend and Mary Jo Sato Lou from the 714 about 45 minutes ago yep so and spoder has been used to having lanes four and five over the course of the last couple of weeks since you've been in this 540 find itself in three here just the second fastest in the heats earlier on talu with that 714 was the fastest qualifier the women's 60 meter fine a way first-time good starting made to for Evans and alpha boater into her running and talu outside there was no motor entirely Wataru coming through to take it Amory chose a time of 7:01 a world-leading time for the Ivorian water performance from the world indoor silver medalist she is absolutely delighted she's on top of the world rankings and she has taken the 60 meter spray out here in düsseldorf reaction superb and we've not seen anyone get out button and sabado all season and she took her half a meter over in the permits were alone rounded up to seven oh two two six one dresses over second which is over sixty weeks better than the next fastest person in the world that she is delighted with that well times have been going to the right direction that is for sure 7:16 in turin 7:15 and a meeting in France 7:15 at the weekend 7:14 in the heat earlier and now 7:02 officially Mari Jose Tello and from her reaction she wasn't expecting it to be even that good Swire she did get a flyer and sometimes she could just never recreate that to Bodor on extremely well I'm sure she's running fantastic time as well and you can see that there's actual you know big margin between herself and skippers in third position and skippers run incredibly well as well that reaction from the girl you know the race was over after 1/2 meters and you know it just leaves the boder just wondering what could she do about it and the answer is you can't do anything about it what an athlete just gets a reaction like that we of course worldly we get up on the scoreboard here in our computer and in the arena as well but alongside that it's a meeting record for Marie totally and it is a lifetime best indoors as well which explains her extreme enthusiasm conformation air WL world leave for talo 7:02 and the best performance of her career surpassing her 7:05 chapeau the 7/10 in second and skippers 719 in fir but it's promoters title overall as a result of some great performances there's confirmation of that and Tolley with the 10 points their lifts herself above skipper's to finish in second position 3000 pounds probably at $3,000 by the way on the night for the year the winner as well so whilst for boaters taken there the big pot for the overall title Talia as well as a personal best a meeting record our worldly triple jump who's getting the $20,000 in that rowhouse here in round five needs to produce something further than 14 meters 22 also needs a white flag looked better for distance and looks better on the flag as well a bit of a smile it was a white flag for Rojas 14 meters and 45 so while that's title look like it was slipping away all of a sudden Rojas 1445 takes the lead from mimouna get that jump in great pole vaults we're alive with Korea Kapoor loo here in fact I said over sorry with sidor over who's cleared for 72 at the second attempt Angelica's Sidora ver Stefanie D by the way has failed three times at 472 and is out of the competition with her clearance only at 462 so with Newman also out that means that Sidora ver is going to be crowned as the overall champion who will take the time up here on the evening Curia Capulin has passed at 472 as you have seen at 477 only two competitors left Kirika Pulu and it's our thing stand in the one two three at the moment here at the pool you would go within four centimeters of her personal best here if she could clear this high at 477 necessary first attempt not to be all anybody wants to understand pole walk more Holly Bradshaw of Great Britain has been putting some terrific I guess technical advice isn't she I think she's sort of heard a few things heard around the the sort of circuit and things that she wanted to put a few things straight she even put lessons out for velu don't understand pole vault quite it's a very technical event it is a technical event I don't know both you and I Christine following that all week haven't we and she actually explained triple jumped in Xela tighty around six after three consecutive fouls he's alive pictures to the top four there's only five athletes left which is currently leading as we see a very close foul but unfortunately anything in the plasticine is too much confirmation that scorecard will just make you to be pretty reading Hasani is suits live in the triple jump cut in fifth with 1358 looks about similar again doesn't it as she gets the white flag as she leaves the pit but you were talking about pressure jumps for Rojas Jenny a short time ago and that certainly was wasn't after three fouls and seeing herself out on the positions that she needed to be in to take the title yeah we saw her do the same in college or she had a lot of fouls and you know she just pulled one out similar distance actually around about 40 meters we know she's in great shape ten days ago she went out almost 50 meters so yeah shows what confesses that she is you know she needed to get the job and she didn't want to leave it to the 6-pound she managed to secure that in the pink round and hopefully she can enjoy victory and hopefully try so his Suzanne Acosta cut in fourth position get self into the top three her best marks so far is 1394 she would love to go beyond 40 meters 1413 recently set a new personal best it's gonna be short of that and probably sure to think of improving on her 1394 marks so far for Susannah cost to the experience to recently Kremlin which against champion multiple major championship performer for Portugal to wait for a measurement net 1362 by the way for the SIA super kept her in place now Christina Marc Allah of Finland recent national record of 14 meters and 38 she's been a little bit short of that here in 1405 can she impact on the top two places 14:22 it's her target which would get her temporarily maybe into second place ahead of mimouna three toppers in total left in this move in triple Makela urging this crowd here in düsseldorf to get behind there she passed round five with a magnet to save myself for you could to extend beyond 14050 best performance so far again with the NICU light doesn't look to be enough so looks like a third place finishes maka let us get the white flag it will be measured but 1405 she's on the leave for a couple of minutes anyway earlier on she was but I'm sure getting over 40 meters again you know with that European Indoor Championships coming up she got a personal best like you said about ten days ago in Madrid 14:38 and getting over 14 meters it's really a good indication of world-class jumping so just let me know below if you aren't tuning in for the men's 60 metres hurdles final and you're looking at the official running order of the event this evening then it's going to be a little bit later than planned we understand that a protest has gone in in that event an interesting protest Jen because it's not actually about somebody getting to school but it's about somebody else being allowed to run oh come back a second let's just watch the conclusion of the triple jump it's a red flag for mimouna it's a little funny but it's a red flag unfortunately the the final round so mimouna will finish in second place for Portugal with her best of 14 meters 22 which gives rowhouse not only the win tonight but also the overall title we'll wrap that up in a second back to the pole vault fast and furious action here in Korea kappa lewd two failures of 477 this is Angelica sidorovich second attempt to 477 it's going to stay on it's there for silver 477 and meat records call you authorized neutrally the recently proud Russian champion solidifies her position here at the top of the tree and certainly now she knows that with Stephanie the out of the running and newman out of the running is her title and again I guess we go and pressure free now in terms of trying to extend she's jumped for ninety one this year don't forget yeah she'd already tied the meet record with the bar previously at 472 but she gets that out right now at attempt so here's our winner and our overall title holder anything special from Rojas in round six she supported that what I think at the last minute there she's right at the end pulled out of it didn't she and 1446 in it even that little last year pulled out of it actually ended up being her best job I just thought she at the last second there maybe was just the way she exited the pit or the way her legs just landed in the sand but it looks so much like she'd give it up it was a step really the hot was good what the step just didn't seem to connect and I think she got herself in a tricky situation as she actually went into that jump and obviously we saw when she landed it was almost like she wasn't ready to land but that actually ended up being her birthday that definitely is an indication if she would have got that right what she could get out - so 1446 the winning mark for you lamar Rojas who with that takes the I double-a of world indoor tour title in the women's triple jump mimouna 1422 her closest rival again so remember we still have field event action to come the women's pod what is still going on the men's high jump is due to get going we have very exciting Japanese outfit know Toto be involved in that there'll be big German support behind the European champion Matthias bilko as well when the men's high jump gets underway but here live in the pole vault we are coming towards the conclusion of this event and it with a conclusion of Nicoletta Kyra Kapoor lose evening if she doesn't clear this third attempt at 4 meters and 77 the denies said Oliver victory for now was it close I came all the way out for Nicoletta Korea Kapoor loop have clearance of 4 meters in 67 gives her 2nd position overall and give sit over the victory people look at and I said well she passed at the last time and then failed three times at the next round but as you talked about earlier Jim for those new to the pole ball often tactics in terms of account back the number of failures on your card can decide things if you tie Heights with other competitors so when they see what other competitors are doing there a tactical pass is not because you think she could easily clear it sometimes it's all down to those tactics and that time it didn't work out but I'm sure many times it does so actually to get back and be competing with those girls clearing these sorts of heights 481 in firming and just so that weekend along with Holly Bradshaw and Katie they got to know these girls are really clearly these four 70s and for 80 bars regularly so yes for 72 me this evening I'm sure should be delighted with that so Carioca Birla sister we saw our coach filming it all on the iPad again it's a the instant feedback these days isn't it as Rojas takes the flowers and a lap of Honor it's nice as well that the triple jump gets the opportunity here to be showcase and to celebrate the achievements of ulama Rojas who's running around the track here as you can see just in front of us actually we're just up above where she was a running past there and his confirmation that all those final standings it was dicey for a while for Rojas it certainly made it exciting rather than being a procession but you wouldn't know that when you're looking back at these stats in a year's time or she wanted come to me from a motor and pellet arrow who beat Rojas in Karlsruhe at the start of the tour so we had the best part of an hour's action that still to come let's go back to that men's 60-meter hurdles by the way Jen as we see Rojas doing her lap Ivana here and they're signing a few autographs on the way round now the complaint this ghanian is from Jarrett Eaton who got disqualified from heat one of the 60 meter holes for a full start his complaint is that ortega was allowed to run in heat two after also apparently false starting so i'm just wondering why he may not have known the rules because as an athlete you're always allowed to run under protest if you don't you know the decision was my so that's that mean that the result will stand he could have maybe had a word officially that I've gonna run and maybe we'll talk about it later and then the new people give in that situation at least gives you an option so think quality eager was probably a little bit more experienced we don't know the outcome you know what his reaction was we didn't get to see the data on the screen but I'll take it definitely you know made that decision to go and have a word with the officials look at that and don't really know what you can do with this you know late-stage really we should have made the decision when you have the opportunity at the time I don't know whether we're allowed to add anybody at this point maybe can run and not score any points obviously we know he's already won the tour anyway but and maybe he just wants to get over an out I'll tell you what we've seen happened before they serve as his competitors run a time trial on their own sometimes where you know Dara Eaton could end up running a time-traveller zone to try and get a time to make the final we'll come back to that in a second because at the moment that is all unclear but it does mean a delay to the men 60-meter hurdles final but this is our pole vault champion not just here in Dusseldorf this evening but on the I double F world indoor tour the M are on the scorecard of angelica sedara BER the Russian athlete competing as a neutral athlete meeting record can she improve it further 482 the bars gone up to first attempt it's quite difficult isn't it when the meets one the tours one and now you're just actually pushing yourself you know how high can you actually get she looks bent it's and it's absolutely out of it Sidor over there it's a gala for anybody who thinks that the whole force it's not a testing and you're only running up what is it 30 40 50 meters or so and the amount of physical power that takes to use those poles to get over these two pre pipes you could just see from stood over there resting on the bed exactly what it takes out of these athletes and this was this was an aborted job it was then that says six jump the constant so you can see their scorecard of some of the other athletes they put far more junk food she has she actually came in at 457 she missed a couple of heights and then she came in the contest again at 472 maybe it's just the combination of the competitions that she had the last few few weeks I think we should compete in the Russian chances four days ago yeah I think you're probably right I think it is probably a combination of those things as we see stood over who's the timer though jump clock once the bar is rear aged of the cone is removed just let you know by the way there are two I double F World Indoor Tour titles that were already decided before we came into this meeting the seeming that was the women's 3,000 meters which went to Alamos Samuel Etta Duryea in the men's long jump so AB a contract with another non scoring event this is the women's 400 meters two laps of the track just the three athletes this one there they are now we saw a skewed ingebrigstsen a bit earlier on we mentioned is the wife of Philip Inga Brits in the middle of the Inga Brooks and brothers that we'll see later on or certainly two of them the equipment Philip take it far here this is her 400 meters debut we'll talk more about in a second as we see a local athlete from here in düsseldorf the German 400 meters hurdles silver medalist Jamila Burma who actually won this event last year she's back to try and make it two in a row inside her a personal best in the heats of the German championships the weekend but didn't get her in the final lena Nauman goes out of Lane three and Alexa we've already seen Astrid Ingebrigtsen run in the 60 meters here already and she lines up for 400 meters debut she's a noise of 200 meters Indoor champion but it's her first time at two laps three athletes then non-scoring events women's 400 meters we still have the men's 400 meters to come which is a scoring event and it's on a knife-edge Maz lactic and Strava away first time so faster ingebrigstsen here new territory Jenny Meadows yes whoo laughs I think she might need a belly to remember that she has to do more than one luck don't incredibly well actually in the you know difficult Lane Lane to hear the title curve obviously she's already warmed up from that 60 meters got a couple of medals that they are national championships in Norway at the weekend but erm yet the favoured outside lane boom who is actually leading at the pass as we often see the outside lanes with the advantage indoors and it's Jamila boom looking to make it two in a row now in second place and now a stunning to Britain will be started to feel the pinch I'm sure this extended distance now but she started to close if anything is now the moves onto the shoulder of Broome and remember not all indoor tracks have long home straights but plenty can still change over the last few metres here is now now when strikes down the outside chrome starts to tie up and lean and now they're moving away powerful here Inger bricks in closing trying to get second but it's now man from boom and from ingebrigstsen 45 54 61 rather for the winner now on which is just four hundredths of a second outside that PB she said at the weekend yeah I think she really benefited from having that you know really good run out that last 50 meters or so and they are really tight curves here and quite long straight so you can actually make a real impact once you get onto the straight on the back is great news embalm under pressure and yeah really good to see him really competitive domestic racer while we're watching that the Volvo has moved on because to deliver cleared 477 this is her second attempt at 482 so the last two we've seen live she supported but in the middle of that 477 of clearance to improve that meeting record and now one more attempt left at 482 we said earlier on she cleared four meters 82 win the Russian Championships last week some day she'll take her time as we just wrap up that women's 400 meters for you now learn from Berman and from Astrid immigrant obviously the whole host of meeting records already this evening seen top performances on the likes of Subang shall be lots of fantastic racing still to come if you just tuned in we have you been for the last hour and a half first of all but over the course of the next hour or so I've got some fascinating contest the women's 800 meters is absolutely wide open a beat'em la mu is the current standings leader but she later on scan clerk of Great Britain has moved away understood or as she was closing a competition there enough is enough that she says when you're out on your own and you have it all wrapped up I guess physically you have to make that judgment this - at work walk is too much and what is the balance between putting on a show for the crowd so the clearance of 477 the meeting record and the iwf world indoor title for the authorised new triathlete Angelica Todorovic yeah she's not gonna buddy even actually rap the title up it was all to play for us she came into this competition it was very much big jobs between parents deafening another victory and I really enjoy watching these girls you like to see them talk to now they have great camaraderie total respect for each other the amount of training that's - training you've got to put in to be able to you know run down that runway launch yourself over the bar you know it's very very physical event she didn't look tired so I think he needs just that combination of quite a lot of competitions and just short spell the indoor season is only four five six weeks you know of gyration at the very most how good is that European Indoor Championship looking in this event was Stephanie if she's coming back some didn't necessarily show it tonight but she she was on record saying she felt better going into this and she has done over the course of the last few weeks or so throwing Holly Bradshaw of Great Britain who's been jumping very well indeed 481 of course Siddhartha's cleared for 77 this evening Kirikou kapoor lou has come back into form as well so that is a wide open medal chasing glasgow dinner it is we've got a couple of swedish athletes as well who were really pushing those you know 417 484 so just get into that final will be tough in itself so exciting times at the start of March for those European Indoor Championships in Glasgow for which teams are named and have been formed in conformation of that meeting record and the victory for Siddartha and the overall title Kira Kapoor Lou and Stephanie Lee no mark for the former world champion Yara's Lee silver of Cuba who struggled [Music] so still the car as we say we have the 400 meters for men which is due relatively shortly in about 10 minutes or so but first of our presentations being made here there are a couple of different presentations as we crown some of the athletes who have made the grade here Crispina chuan it's a verse from Oda and Jerry eaten fresh from fresh from his protest in the 60 meter hurdles has got to come out and claim his his title here on earth now he doesn't look like he's you know limbering up for this final of course this presentation was a bit because the men 60 meter hurdles files should have happened by now tense why schedule in here but I think that probably is a stronger indication as we're gonna get that Eaton won't be running I guess of you as we see Christine is run its first of all the women's shock puts a clear winner of that went out to a world lead of 19 meters and 54 recently not quite in that ballpark today Christina Schwarz but she didn't need to be and on home soil are very popular winner not just here in Dusseldorf but of the overall I double F world in bill torn again bunch of Anita Martin just a little bit below her best at the moment indoors chuan it's looking a strong Pope for a gold for Germany in Glasgow moves behind Schwartz again legit based athlete well I'm sure tell if she had it all under control this evening but after three straight fouls it got a bit jittery it did get just three but it's great to see her exuberance I'm really excited to win here this evening what a great athlete she is and when she does get it right you know 15 meters plus is definitely on the cards don't forget as well as the $20,000 prize for winning the overall title the other thing that these athletes get is a wildcard entry to the I double F World Indoor Championships early next year in Nanjing in China the country still have to select them but they do have a wife for wildcard entry so for the likes of chuan it's and Rojas not nervous qualifying at the start of next year Ava Swoboda well she lost her unbeaten record here this evening but she has been the standout performer over 60 meters we've seen some big smiles from overseas that quite look as happy as we've seen her recently she does then I think she was just shocked you know Mary Joseph Patel who just pulled that out of nowhere but still she finished with 710 which is a second fastest of this season and you know one of the fastest times in the world but it was just one of those races for you it was over before it began [Music] I'll inches happy so three of the four who are on the presentation podium it's on the left of the shot Darrin Eaton who the world indoor silver medallist you weren't with us right at the started a disqualified for a full start in heat one early rocks we didn't get to celebrate it with a victory here this evening but he's always a smiley character a boisterous character he enjoys the attention he enjoys I guess 60 meters being his specialist distance hasn't done anger a lot of major form over 110 he's certainly a 16-wheeler specialist much like andrew posi and what Evers got on behind the scenes with regards to protests and things Ortega is gonna take his place in the final do you understand that final will be yet a bit later on so here's in a second what happened a little bit earlier on with the men sixty minerals so this is Jack Easton birth on the camera there who very very marginally Paul started was shown the red card as you can see Jarrett and didn't think he had but our timing showed that he did an or taker in the very next heat in lane three by about the same distance couldn't believe that he was shown the red card that's all by the officials he went over to the screens and he was allowed to run and he sat his blocks and had a very safe start this was what actually happened with the heats was run at the second attempt and Ortega came through comfortably with a protest from Jarrett Eaton that they basically infringed pretty much the same but one of them was allowed to run one of them wasn't but now the carefully position looked like Jerry that's got fireworks coming out of his head he suddenly recovered his emotions now isn't he yeah it's great to see him he I mean obviously I wanted to see him just more experience and just thought you know I'll go find the facts out and when Jared eats awards off you know he was shaking his head like he didn't agree with the decision but maybe he should have gotten a bit more of an explanation all the way Christina Schmitz didn't quite have the same moves as the other three they did she wasn't trying to get involved in the funny moves there on the right but Jerry and I guess there's no psychological advantage because it for example he's not at the European door so it's nothing to do with him against Ortega at the Europeans because Jerry Turner is not obviously involved in that I guess very frustrating when you prepare for a meeting you don't get to run but this is one of the the perils of being a sprinter is that this will happen occasionally but I suppose yeah from that point of view I suppose he's thinking well we've pretty much did the same thing we infringed little what it looked like with the naked eye a very similar amount and Ortega who has been his main rival this winter got to run and he didn't so I guess you can understand the frustration but he looks like he's recovered anyway yeah he does and I think this finals still gonna be an absolute classic we've got a Posie we've got tremor we've got we presume we've got mullets we've got trucks a bit it's gonna be a great one anyway so yeah would it be great to have his name there as well but I'm definitely still looking forward to that final what about Angie Posey just before we move on Angie posi we touched on it earlier on but it written off the endorse he's the defending champion of course at the European indoors he you know he was saying I'm not gonna be there I'm not going to Glasgow I've got a cord injury all of a sudden from nowhere he's named in the team and fitness pending and here he is now in Dusseldorf with two races to potentially prove his fitness were you as surprised as everybody else that he was on that team yeah I was actually I think he's obviously just you know kept in touch with the officials I'm Great Britain unless it's a officials and said you know maybe I've recovered a little bit quicker than I thought I would his personal best is seven point four three seconds so it was seven seventy they're a little bit rusty maybe but great that you could come here it could compete he's warmed up he's finish the race hopefully he's gonna feel all right and it's gonna take part in this final and I think he'll you know it's always subject to fitness a decision like that so I think tonight just from the heat you'll take that place subject to fitness well it's just see how he gets up in the final we mention that anyone with Richard I know we're going to British TV with Richard Kielty the defending champion also being I guess given a special invitation by European Athletics but as a rival how do you do you want to be beating the best if you're all tiger lining up in the sixty hurdles what do you think when you see posi is is potentially going to be there rather than one of the favourites for contesting for a gold medalist suddenly out do you or do you want to beat the best to win the gold yeah it's difficult one isn't it I think he probably thinks oh my goodness I wasn't thinking that you you know you know be completing he's obviously the world reigning World Indoor champion but you do want to beat the best you know that's what you're trained for that's what you get up every day for you train hard so you can push yourself to the limit but yeah it just depends whether he's got enough time now poses to to get himself it it's only what ten-day time I mean that is the key isn't it well Tiger has had a big run of form over the course of the last few weeks as well he's still with the final to come here this evening which could be a big step forward I guess pauses performance in the final tonight will give us ER will give us an idea as you said earlier around 770 in the year the heat so that the men's 60 hurdles will be certainly one of the interesting finals we just seen the athletes in front of us started to get ready for the men's 400 we're seeing Rojas continuing to dance Mary jig and we're seeing some of the athletes started to warm up for the men's high jump as well you just got a shot a moment ago no toe toe beau who we absolutely loved watching in Karlsruhe right at the start of this tour when he tore up the meeting record he tore out the Japanese record he absolutely hammered his personal best as well by 9 centimeters on the night so anything near that performance this evening and that will certainly give this just a LOF crowd something to celebrate for short and again a really exciting name coming through in the high jump over the course of the last month or so yeah I think he was as surprised as anybody else should know high jump 9 centimeters that's just absolutely ridiculous to add that what is done three competitions so far this year and all of them have been you know in excess of his old personal bests I think it's worst he's done is to 29 so he's floating around two-30 every single competition now he certainly as we got musette Mateus she bilko as well the the German athlete who has just been hinting at a little bit of form as well the German champion at 226 just started to come back towards his lifetime mess which is 230 the bronze medalist from the year World Indoor Championships in Birmingham last year and as we say the European champion from outdoors in Berlin be very much in the shake-up this evening as well and he would delight the home crowd I'm sure as he continues to build up towards his European indoor campaign Donald Thomas we saw a shot of a moment ago as well the former world champion and Wang as well who can saw him become the second most talked-about Highjump Asian if you like with the Asian Games champion but he's in terms of I guess the the challenge this evening because tobei is coming here is the the man in form the men's high jump starting to get towards its conclusion that will give you hit by the way how long the men's 60 hurdles final is going to be a way because the high jump betters you can probably see around about now is smack in the middle of a 60 meter straighter and thought about their preparation what they're gonna do between the heats and the final and all of that has really just been tore up now you know do they do they actually cool down they take a little bit of rest do they take on more fluids today you know he's a little bit so I'm not sure whether they've actually given a start time but ever certainly been quite a severe delay now between what they thought they know they put a thought in is exciting this done now watching the rest of the competition but yeah they're evenings gonna go on a little bit longer than we thought that podium is gonna have to move as well because that's right in the way we're gonna have people tripping over that as well and 60 meters hurdle final so podium at one end and how have been at the other 60 meter hurdles extreme style with the men's 400 meters which will not be affected by the podium or the high jump bed and we are building up to one of the most eagerly anticipated clashes of the evening but first of all this is heat one as we meet local in santos of the dominican republic the two favourites for the title by the way the two leaders will go in heat two but this is the 2012 Olympic silver medalist from London third at the weekend in Birmingham Magellan Santos Oscar host cos the Spanish Indoor champion at that time of 46:37 his best he goes in Lane three here get another one who has started a bit a little bit slow to this winter but has again started to chip away a few tenths off those times and it's Lucca a Yanis hitch of Slovenia who finished second behind Nathan Strava in Birmingham at the weekend actually stumbled on the home straight nearly went down but did manage to hang on to second spot behind they fenced rubber so this is the start let's remember in the 400 meters which is a scoring events the times will be amalgamated across the two heats the fastest time across the two heats takes the 10 points in the I developed world indoor tour profit and Maslach and lanes three and four in the second heat but first of all and itch you see us and the Santos four lane track key remember and distilled off of still 800 meters women's 800 to come we got immense 1500 meters to come as well as the second of the men's 400 meters some exciting racing this tight track throws and spills guaranteed so when first time we see yellows it usually goes out pretty powerfully he's a big strapping figure and he's a hard man to get past as well don't forget they run the first laughing lanes and then break towards the Bell and that is where the chase is usually on and yell as it's being challenged on his inside now by who see us and see us as they come into the straight looks out of the advantage can he hold off yeah Mitch at the break yeah it's tight isn't it at the break and who else doesn't want to give what is lead up and he just absolutely puts his elbows out and really works hard down that back straight such an advantage if you can actually hold on to that inside lane so it's a see us from Jana ditch and now look Ellen Santos trying to challenge it from third position as well but her see us now has done his hard work the power of the Anna's hitch and Santos looking for Running Room down the outside as well Casillas hangs on by a meter from me Ana's it's 4697 for Oscar who see us have a second awesome outside his performance from the weekend lock quizzical look from her see us as he looks back to see the time that he takes the victory it's quite a strange race really I don't think Jana got out particularly well and really office did really really well he got out that little bit quicker but then Jana really tried to get him at the break you know to kick that automatic leave but he just really held on really offs and sometimes was just off the pace you know we do know that he's a slow starter normally find a little bit in those closing stages but yeah Julio's just held on written his teeth all the way to line and just coming in just under 47 seconds yeah I think ya know H could sense that Casillas was I was tying up but the line just came in time and you can see the facial expressions from these guys as they come down the straight you can also see the size and the power of Yanet it's there as well who is by the way only 23 so he's another one who's gonna be around I think for a few years to come rising star of Slovenia second here last year and at the moment second in that heat anyway we'll wait to see how his times work out over the amalgamation all feed two heats confirmation thereof that result 46 96 the winning time reporters the Australia's edge and Santos [Music] so we mentioned the battle for the overall standings when they send straw that with 30 points and performers lap with 20 will contest this second heat those points at the moment from the Sears Indiana's it's almost sickening to live scoring isn't it because they're after that first team so stop it again some as lack now this is where the count back situation comes into clarification Jim because if mass lack wins this race he wins the title takes 10 points it draws him level with Strava on 30 but their best performances of the season Maz lack 46 1 9 Strava 46 to 1 so 200 to the second has put Maz lack in the box seat here very closes there and I actually don't think this truck is as fast as some of the other tracks it's very very tight bends we just saw you know that race just getting morning just under 4 to 7 seconds I'm sure this race will be a little bit quicker but I'm not sure whether they'll actually go as fast as 46.1 9 seconds so much luck has really got everything to play for really we can take the victory I think he'll actually take the tour title of course the other thing worth pointing out is he's also got around faster than her see us forty six 96 to win this because you only get 10 points if he's the fastest across the two heats as well he needs 10 points to Denise dropper the title so Maz lat winning this in faster than 46 96 is the only thing that can deny Nathan Strava winning the title here now at 2 athletes at the year not different ends of their career but certainly separated by a few years Maz lap with his host of global titles three World Indoor titles three European Indoor titles Nathan Strava terms of major champs not on his record he's up-and-coming yeah we've really enjoyed watching him this indoor Cesar needs to compete extensively in Boston in Turin Madrid and Birmingham and now is in düsseldorf so five out of five that he's competed in and we've really seen him just come into his own he's not actually lost a race he was second in Turin but that was because he was in a different race too too much la so he's undefeated so far indoors and this is just a really good collage that we've been waiting for all season certainly his mass like is the defending World Indoor champion on the tour from two years ago when this was last a a scoring event and it's set up nicely in terms of the other athletes in the field by the way they've got two athletes who are a good second down on times inside them as well so really the three guys who ran in the first heat I guess of the next best behind behind Maz lacking strata but no real surprised to see the way they've seeded these heats yeah I think that just really allows those athletes who were going for times to get a very good comparative competition lanes three and four are the best lanes here on this track so it's great that the four main protagonists have all been given the same opportunity so we've seen some of the high jump athletes which are just going through their final preparations [Music] as we see the stuff list then that is how the lineup is formed for this second final of the men's 400 meters as far as we gather made construc was given the choice of the outside lanes as the the current tour leader he chose lane 3 which isn't always over this distance the obvious is it will come back to mount a set gym because let's reap meat raffle of melk oh look at the polish silver medal behind Carol's LF ski at the weekend 47 1/2 you have been indoor silver medalist in 2017 he'll be looking to be over medals shake up again in Glasgow so he will go off Lane one local favorite here the German champion he ran a PB forty seven one eight tour burn at the junker for the European under-23 relay medalist as well and then we come to the two big guns trying to paddle out the title Nathan Strava winner in Turin winner in Madrid winner in burning he's got the maximum 30 points can he be denied this title over two laps by this man the most experienced and decorated indoor 400 meter runner of recent times powerful mass lack winner in karlsruhe winner in turin he needs to win in Dusseldorf to take the overall title he tuned up for this gen by taking the silver medal over 60 meters in the polish championships at the weekend well we know it speeds there then early season he wasn't you know he's normal characteristic great starter I actually remember him watching a minute in a race in Norway against wha-ho money you know only around forty seven and a half seconds every races Ronnie's got quicker he's done some 300 meters competed in the national chance that you said over sixty so we're hoping that you can get out and I think this might be the key we've got a whisper bigger than our cooperative system here we are about five meters from Palmas Lac just in front of us here we're just behind those silver barriers you can see there in the background so that as close as I've ever been to an athlete I think while commentating but Maslak takes his blocks has to win in 46 96 or less or this man is the overall title winner so a straight fight over two laps Maslak has the outside lane Athens Strava came on strongly in Birmingham to take it on the final lap and he looks like he's gonna be happy just to sit in and let Matt slack do the running in the early stages here and then again use that strength in the second half of the race but Strothers leaving yourself a bit to do here this is what he does and he normally does come on strong the second half of the race but Marshall has got a couple of liters on him there at the mouth twenty two point one eight second faster than the last heat but again not as fast as we've actually seen him Rollins so Maz lacks Racecraft will come into it here as well but Strether at the moment looks like he's got the strength don't forget still plenty of time for things to change over the home straight it's these two fighting out the double AF World Indoor title down the home straight and it's the American Nathan's Strother who takes in he's after the world indoors in China 4649 his fourth win of the idol AF World Indoor Tour and the title is his yeah it was just definitely a race of two hearts wasn't it you know he just about God himself into second position at the bell and his real good strength is down the backstraight his last hundred and fifty meters completely different race indoors to outdoors of course much like to perhaps take advantage of that speed that we've got a speed of tone of speed that he's got in those legs and she said you know he's been doing 60 meters at the weekend and I'm sure that would have been in preparation with his race it doesn't lose many powerful man slack that is for sure this season over 400 meters he's only been beaten once until now but here I mean we talked about strata biding his time there at that point I mean it was looking like he'd left himself a bit to do but mass lack traditionally very strong but here strata just too strong yeah stone has actually got some decent experience over 800 meters as well so I think this is really you know he's more of a 400 meter 800-meter runner compared to much laughs who spent a lot of his junior Craven in 200 meters as well so yeah definitely different ends of the spectrum but they meet together in the 400 meters and a great event we expected it to be great and you know straight a fully deserved to win the idol World Indoor tortillas yeah I'm brilliant it was a true run race the two guys straightening up for home almost side-by-side the title was decided what over the last I don't know 70 meters or so which is fantastic of course I guess the challenge for someone like Strava now is that Maz lacus has really been restricted to his best form indoors I guess but rather now he's he started to prove himself indoors can you translate there outdoors yeah is the name that we've just learned this indoor season and it'd be interesting to see obviously you know as an American athlete it's very hard to even get on 13 but you know he is the iw World Indoor champion a tour champion he's got that ticket so they were welding doors next year so he will be in a u.s. best this time next year exactly and there are the overall standings then after the confirmed results strata with those 10 points again today doesn't add to the 30 maximum is the 30 of course from his best three performances across the tour takes it from Maslin well we've seen the athletes warming up we saw some of the performances from moto tobei in cars we were just there and this is how it stands going into this now as you can see Evalia isn't here so tobei has the title already what we would like to see some more fireworks from now Toto Bey and not just what he comes out of the entrance to in a moment first of all though we see by the upper coming German high jumpers FARC vendrick silver and a German championships in a lifetime best of 226 in Leipzig and weekend Luis Castro of Puerto Rico 2:26 also this year he come to 23:00 at Birmingham in the weekend jazzy kit the Puerto Rican gear this is the 2007 world champion from a soccer the Bahamian Donald Thomas who again has been competing regularly on this European circuits from Mexico at Rivera again he's at a couple of meetings in the Czech Republic it's finished second in his national championships with two meters 26 Hwang of China the Asian Games winner last year beaten by tobei in Karlsruhe when he jumped to 31 which he might have thought equalling his lifetime best would be enough but tobei had other ideas he'll be a huge reception for this man the European champion Natacha Belko of Germany crowned again their national champion at the weekend bronze medalist in the world indoors last year the 230 performer is best he's jumped to 26 and this is the man of the moment really last man out notate obey the Tour winner the fireworks are already going off for him Japanese record world lead personal best 235 in Karlsruhe more German fireworks tonight from NATO tobei we wonder to those just seven for the men's high jump you say Tour title already decided but again tobei against you bilko as well I think that he'll be keen in front of his German crowd here and we see Wang produce some of that form to get him up towards 231 as well what amenities jazz that's something else that I think I heard the commentators the weekend at Birmingham referring to that I didn't actually see in the year the TV pictures of it but I've seen it now so here's our first competitor of the high jump and this is Falcon Bend rich and the heights is at 2 meters 10 the opening bar here bendrix is a to 26 performers actually these competitors here on lifetime best are separated by nine centimeter so pretty evenly matched field yeah it is in so basically Toby's personal best before before he did that 235 so some really great competitors and again you know we see in that strategy comes into that confidence boosting clearance for vendor chat to 10 Wang has passed at the opening heights through to 215 and Toby is going to come in at 2 meters and 20 everybody else is going to have a crack at 2 meters and 10 at again for the likes of she built Co off to the European indoors to try and improve on his performance from a couple of years ago what 7th actually in 22nd in Belgrade no European indoors for Luis Castro of Puerto Rico 226 set this year actually a national record as well for Puerto Rico certainly looks like he's going to enjoy his night however it goes I think his first attempt at 2 meters 10 [Applause] opposed to it didn't even got over didn't give it a wobble yeah is interesting it's different how all the high jumpers like different things I was in Birmingham that it's the first time in a competition where I've actually seen a competitor ask the crowd to be quiet so that's in contrast what we've just seen in the Castro ask for we've seen it a few times Donald Thomas certainly isn't asking them to be to be quiet here he goes when I went to the world relays in the Bahamas we'll know that that wasn't quiet or watched it on the telly as Donald Thomas sails over to ten as well so this is all good stuff so far three clear before our competitors at 2 meters and 10 that's not a red flag for Donald Thomas Potter that's just a red flag to hold the next competitor be sure you're thinking what's wrong with that next to go Edgar Rivera wants to be the first one to knock afar off to those so echo Romero's a 230 jumper at his best World Championship fourth place ur from London 2017 Rivera so again a major championship proven performer [Applause] well clear whops is brown rivera behind for him if you're tuning in thinking I have to see in the men's six give me the nervous funnel yet a reminder that was delayed due to a protest and a couple of false starts earlier on involving Jarrett Eaton and Orlando Ortega as far as we understand at the moment Ortega won't be taking his place in the final but that final has been done the end of the program this evening basically because as well as that protest as we see prisoners you Veljko the European champion is opening height to tell if it's the first man to give it a little bit of a nudge but it did stay on yeah it did stay on and I'm sure the home crowd don't want to see any nudges they want to see some clearances and sometimes it's just you know getting that first bar cleared for the final Leverkusen club of course a well renowned clubbing at a number of sports which is about 15 minutes or so from here so he's pretty much a local we're going to give him the benefit the doubt I've been a local I think nobody from a distal wharf itself in the field this evening so everyone clear who was going to attempt to meters ten to the bar up to two meters 15 now with Wang China due to come in at that height as well so still left on the track by the way this evening we have women's 800 meters final to come we have men's 1500 meters final just reminder that was that built out all three Inga Britain's in that one we have yak or we have philip whatever Henry King de Brittany doesn't start a desert season yet and he won't be starting here this evening we have Samuel tafero the world record holder indoors from that fantastic performance of of course we shouldn't overlook any has been overlooked a little bit in some of the other media leading into this platformer Girt who is the world indoor tour leader actually knows that a win will secure him the title as we see 215 could be no problem for falcon been rich of Germany again so the men Highjump and they do have the center of the arena here as we said they're right on the 60 meter track focus is on them [Music] so we mentioned on the track the women's 800 meters this is how things stand going into the final event here this evening Raven Rogers not here a limo is Oscar and Clarke is Lindsey sharp is [Music] and these are the athletes first of all we meet Rebecca ackers there's a 207 runner this will be experience for her 28 years of age but certainly mixing it here with some of the best so you set that lifetime best this year the German athletes out of Lane one shirring lane to the very experienced Santo Walters mistaken hoot at the silver medal of the Dutch championships over 1500 have the week to show off the back of a performance at Birmingham over 800 meters drug-free Lindsay sharp of Great Britain European champion in 2012 European silver medalist in 2014 when he placed fifth in the recent British Indoor Championships though didn't make the team for Glasgow Liga valve and Latvia national record holder and personal best already this winter at 800 and 1000 this is a lady who's right in the mix to take the title she later ah Stan Clark got to stop for a fireworks moment but there might be fireworks from her on the track a front-runner who likes to get in front and not be passed she Lena and Clark in no hurry at the moment a happy term alamou she's in a hurry to get out there to the start line the Ethiopian national record holder she knows that a win for her it's the I double F World Indoor title two minutes in her two runs already this year Sofia a nuit of Poland took the Polish title at the weekend over 15 european silver medallist over that distance as well hoop in indoor bronze medalist over the 1,500 meter distance as well that the full lineup then athletes sharing lanes only four lanes remember so this Jenny Meadows seven athletes four lanes this is going to get tight it is and all the girls are pretty similarly ranked as you can see you know 159 up to you know two flats two girls willing to 1 and then a 2 2 and a 2 3 quite a lot of these girls outdoors a sub two-minute performers so yeah I think space is crucial in this race and tactics as well this race were actually going without a pacemaker it's gonna be a true room race and all is decided on the result of this race for the overall I doubly F World Indoor Tour winner so we look forward to a good race so hello moon horse Ken Clark there to really to keep an eye on they both have ten points brought I double AF World Indoor Tour Sasuke Clark is notoriously hard to get past if she gets herself to the front lindsey sharp knows that for sure and she's shadowing Oscar and Clark the very early stage is also valve era of Latvia and alamou knows that she needs to stick pretty close to us going Clark as well yeah I'm not sure where the valve bow put herself there she wanted to well she's just got herself in that position chelina roschin Clark just sitting on her shoulder alamou will know she Lena boxing class you know that she can't give it too much better fantage and I just as I say that actually passes her and 29 second first 200 meters its average it's not too fast it's not too slow I don't that we're gonna see an amazing time but the girls are settled between vulvar seems to have to adopt it to now up in second position Austin Clark third sharp following and the strong finish in a new in fifth position we shouldn't forget that Elena of course beat Laura Muir in the opening meeting of this tour over the 800 meter distance as well in Karlsruhe search spell Vera as they come through the halfway point in 59 1 6 from Alamo Oscar and Clark and sharp yeah 30 seconds for that second 200 meters at 29 followed by a 30 I'm expecting a linear at some point to take the lead I think it'll be in the next hundred meters also shillelagh rustling Clark is just tracking alamou she knows not to give it too much space and I really think this title will be decided between Oliver would surely not be this next 200-meter circuit well just four days ago she lay North Kent Clark won in Birmingham Kent he repeats a similar performance here as a lame ooh now has seen enough and strikes the front now Oscar Clark do it from behind here she wants to get involved in this it's happy to alamou of Ethiopia who with 200 meters to go is striding out towards the eye level F World Indoor title but now Oscar Clark is battling on welfare in second though is proving hard to pass at the moment sharp in fourth also closing Oscar and Clark now with less than 100 meters still to go and lay mu extending already sub 2 minutes twice this year it's going to be too much Ross can clattering down the home straight an impressive performance from the Ethiopian happy to LA mu just outside two minutes but its job done she is the 800 meters i ee f world indoor tour title winner yeah she run incredibly well didn't she Volvo were almost acted like a pacemaker nut she ran incredibly well itself but alamou is a one 56.7 second 800 meter run or outdoors she's a sub with this team 4minute 1,500 meter roughly as well she really is the quality of that race and you know I did expect her to maybe take the title Gillian off seen Clark gave her a really good run but uh just a strength that 1500 meters strength paid off on that last 200 meter circuit two minutes point seven zero the confirmed winning time for happy town alamou ooh one in turin and as second victory here as we see her at meet of the last lap now Oscar Clark at the bell found herself two meters down on Ville Vera I mean she meant a lot a good race for a long way she did she you know really back to the Chilean Austin sights down that back straight she held her home for 700 meters she's a 400 meter hurdle amor known outdoors Jelena Martin Clark just gave alamou a little bit too much you know respect there me before Alain moon nothing to be taken away from her she was running away with all the commits there were the last 50 meters and the race was really on behind her she Lena Ruskin Clark driving all the way to the line to get our second position and Sapphira near we actually the Polish athlete amazing over cross country she's great over 1500 meters she came through really really fast toward the end of the race as well so lame who took it two minutes point seven zero asking Clark - OH - 25 in second valve error held on for third - OH - 28 and at NUI - OH - 39 with that fast finish that jenni Meadows refers to so it's an Ethiopian win in the men and women's 8th rather the men's 15 to come as we see a clearance in the high jump for she bilko in the background there has his first attempt of two meters 20 confirmation of those results in her PB we said the ACA's down the end would benefit from the experience there and she broke 207 for the first time and that's how things ended up on the floor endorsed or overall away me with that wildcards the world indoors and twenty thousand dollars here's the high jump man other moments now toto Bay of Japan this is two meters 20 first attempt [Applause] yeah just knocks it off there didn't they he looked like he had the heights and it's one of those where sometimes that would stay on you know he was getting off the mat and he almost looked back and he just saw that it actually it just fallen so yeah I've seen those stay on before but yeah unfortunately first time didn't clear that first time have to go again so on the track we still have the men's 1500 meters to come by the way that's to offer in the next few minutes and to be out shortly but men 60 meter hurdles final will follow the high jump by the way conclusion of the high jump this is Falcon durricks second attempt 2 meters 20 for the German and is over so again looking to use that to propel himself potentially towards a a new lifetime best performance so to track events left to eagerly awaited finals remember the men's 60 bit hurdles Tour title is already decided to Jarrett Eaton he's already received his flowers and his medal but we'd not receive this $20,000 yet but this is a big pot of cash underneath the stand so ever thanks Ziggler is as you see the crowd then the 1500 meters though really is what a lot of people have come to see this evening can it be an Ethiopian double with two Ferrer now there no toto bait two meters 20 second attempt here I'm used to failing Timothy bars at this sort of height and the form is blame this winter to failures for tobei at 2:20 given the big build-up he's not going to leave us with egg on our face even the mascots disappoint sit in the background can you see I saw the TT pond for the mascot there the PSD bank mascot so Toby one more attempt at 220 [Applause] this time on the track for the men's 1500 meters down is how it stands we have Bergen here we have to fear here we have Vincent Quebec here as well all to play for [Applause] while of course at the weekend Samuel to Ferrer three 3104 break in that 22-year old record from Hashem el guru with this performance he sawed off cage L so many people thought might be the man to break the world record it was to firer who took it he didn't quite realize it was a scintillating performance from to fira today he's got this man up against him yakov ingebrigstsen two teenagers going head-to-head [Applause] more prepared we just race in my a season opener from looking for a race today so some thoughts there from the echo of Ingebrigtsen speaking of the race hotel a little bit earlier on tobei clear by the way in the high jump further attempts of his competition still alive at 2:20 as we meet the athletes then for this men's 1,500 meters two pacemakers here that's the first of them coming out Adams chevensky the Polish athletes 30 years of age this is the other one V pacemaker if you like Bram some the Dutchman 39 years old today he's already placed two World Records in the last four or five days brand saw John 1 this is Yan Frisch four times the national champion of the Czech Republic including recently in the 3000 meters [Applause] drawn to Ishmael Jobrani European Championships finalists last year broken 340 for the first time this year over 1,500 meters drug-free Sam Parsons who has dual nationality USA on the caption there he's actually in the German team for the European Indoor Championships coming up he has a German mother Vincent kibbutz not in the hunt for the overall Tour title but he could throw a spanner in the works if he performs to his best here don't fall the first of the Inga Brixton's this is the middle of the three brothers Phillip Ingebrigtsen the World Championship bronze medalist in 2017 European champion in 2016 a recent PB over 3,000 meters and then his teenage brother the 18 year old double European champion from Berlin fifteen hundred and five thousand meters officially the fastest under-20 in the world with run of three 36:21 Jakob Ingebrigtsen this is the man currently at the top of the standings bevelled bergen of kenya the defending World Indoor Tour champion as well he's officially the man they've got to get past to take the title at least in the case of this man the new world indoor record holder with that time of three 3104 Samuel - Farah Ethiopia can he possibly replicate anything like that just four days on from such an impressive performance stacked field up an ultimate track event there's the full list with buzzing for this one Jenny MERS yeah to see what Safari did just four days ago in Birmingham race for Coachella current dev you almost just shadowed him you know almost got a double draft the pacemaker the scourge Elka and he just you know really struck on the back straighten and you know stole the world record away from George Elka so really looking forward to seeing what he can do here this evening so reminder in the high jump which will keep an eye on Toby clear third attempt at 220 bars gone up to 225 so then Bram psalm the pacemaker on the outside a professional pacemaker he's been doing it since 2013 he paced to firer to that world record in Birmingham at the weekend then on Sunday he paced the new five kilometer road world record for Julian wonders in Monaco he went on to complete the 5k race himself did Bram Somme and here he is a four days later on his 39th birthday with the new world record holder alongside him fascinating clash to Ferrer 19 Jakob ingebrigstsen 18 7 1/2 laps of the track we should make sure Bethel Bergen is clearly trying to get himself off the inside in the very early stages he's the remember who leads the standings if he wins the race he takes the title but Bram Psalm leading them out in the very early stages interferer sticking pretty close by jakub in direction at the moment about three from the back yeah looking at what they asked the Pacemakers to do I think we should know that we don't think they're going for the world record pace the pace that they've asked is a little bit slower than what we saw in Birmingham at the weekend that said it's very very respectable it could get you up Ingebrigtsen a new world junior record looking for about 56.57 400 meters 2:23 at 1000 meters which would bring them in two to three seconds slower than what we saw them embedding it to pacemakers are the front of the field ground psalm from adam Sowinski then comes to pharaoh just in behind them as they make their way down the back straight it's Vincent key betting 4th and Phillip ingebrigstsen in Bethel burg and then Jakob Inger brixon and those five at the moment tracking in behind the two pacemakers as they come round and this time they will see at five laps to go just completing 500 meters yeah brand songs done he's really good to see to furrow though on the bottom of the two pacemakers here actually just showing you know playing his cards out he's trying to win this race he's actually trying to run a decent time at the same time really really interesting to see how this field is strung out so quickly what a ferret is unbeaten indoors in six races in his career yet she lost his most recent race to yak of Ingebrigtsen that was in temporary last year in the world under-20 championships when to fear only finished fifth Jakob Ingebrigtsen finished second behind George man and gore they go through with 800 meters remaining Bramson will step aside now in chevensky will be left with a post making duties but to firer is right on his shoulder it's cadets in third place then Phillip ingebrigstsen followed by Jakob and beth-el Bergen remember has to win to guarantee the indoor tour title yeah I think Subarus come here with a game plan to run quick he knows he can run faster than anybody else not just in this race but in history and he really is kind get on the back of the second pacemaker now he will be a worth of the ingots in a jacket when I'm a villain and Jeff Kobashi beats imagine occurrence in tamper at the World Juniors last year so if it was a closed room race and more of a tactical race maybe safari you know he is the fastest guy in history maybe does it funky himself it attracted a race here we are now just coming up with two laps to go so the Pacemakers are gone and now it's down to the superstars to fight it out on their one and two at the moment the two fastest teenagers in the world over 1,500 meters Samuel tafero leads from yeah kubinka brixon Philippine kibrik serves in third Bevelle Bergen in fourth that a fair win guarantees him the Tour title though forget is a go down the backstraight these three have got away slightly - Farah with that hard race in his legs from four days ago Jakob Ingebrigtsen relatively fresh from a training stint in South Africa and a good run in his domestic Norwegian competitions as well and yeah curbing of friction starts to close on to fira as they come down to take them out the confidence on approving the Brits than here does 18 years of old on the shoulder at the new world indoor record holder and this race is not you know not he's gonna go down to all the way to the wire sorry too far it's just holding on and yep cooking the bricks thing and a hundred meters to go so yeah curbing a brick sir moves to within striking distance of the world indoor record holder he moves out in tilling two to strike down the outside but power of Ingebrigtsen the place up to fira and it's the norwegian who will come out on top yep giving the Rickson 336 0-2 it's a meeting record for the night of Norwegian it is also a new world junior record as well 3 3602 for the 18-year old and Jakob ingebrigstsen carves his name yet again into the history books Chris I was literally last month I was watching the brick Sinan you know he would have watched the raised in Birmingham a weekend and I read a quote by him No anyway and that's the goal that I've got that's the time I got in my head so it definitely shows the world within the agreement well and know what a great tactician confirmation it's a variety of things for yak of being a Brooks but it actually beats the previous best time set by tafero which wasn't actually ratified at 3:30 6:05 yeah kubinka Britain's previous best was 336 21 over this distance that was still waiting to be rectified as a world under-20 Drecker but 336 0-2 rounded down for Jakob ingebrigstsen it's obviously a Norwegian record as well as amongst a whole host of other things a lifetime best for Philip ingebrigstsen we should say as well over 1500 meters as well as he finished in 338 62 and to fear a running wat 5 5.3 seconds slower than Wednesday of course today wasn't necessarily all about the time it was about the win and where to fear a strong past Coachella in Birmingham yeah coming erection pretty much almost the same spot here although once it came out of the home straight you did really feel it was probably only gonna be one winner basically managed to just you know just not hold him up at the end I think definitely you know has two wins that yuccas got over to fir in the last two races that was World Junior Championships tavera finished in fifth position even though is the World Indoor champion joking - vixen you know 18 years of age he's the best of the three brothers now and it was so nice to see Phillip you know and celebrating with him what a future this kids got comfortable you look in his face she was there at the end of it he's just outsprinted the new world indoor record holder he's just set a new world under-20 record as well and it just looks like he could copernica I think he actually expected to came here with pressure you had to win everyone's been talking about him the last few days he went into the burger moon meet him you know definitely underdog kozelka was one who had everyone you know expecting things of him and what a great race so let's wrap that all up now Jakob Inger Brooks on the N R you can see there is a the national record but of course the fastest time by an under-20 athlete over 1500 meters running faster than tafero did last year when he was still a number 22 farah 336 34 Filipina britain there in bethel Bergen down the field in sixth place overall this is what it's done to the overall standings to theory might not have won tonight but he has by virtue of having a three-point bonus from his win at Birmingham from that world record as well he has taken the overall title so some consolation for Tepera but it's been a pretty handy few days for him but ingebrigstsen with the bragging rights this time around so they're getting excited in the high jump here third attempt for vender it's coming up with Germany in the arena which is just failed unfortunately 225 but Jakob ingebrigstsen again a bit like the 400 where it came down to man's lack against rather in the home straight side-by-side it was great to see I guess from the the drama point of view and how it was all scripted but it would be to Ferrer and Jakob Ingebrigtsen side-by-side as they swung for home yeah that race promised so much did and it definitely delivered the crowd of really enjoying this was just such a championship racer you know when it comes down to you know running for a time obviously we know what you know tafero can do but what a great race it was and that's what we wanted to see here this evening Donald Thomas crashes out on the high jump three failures at two meters from 25 so just the clearance at 220 on his record has him in seventh place the leader at the moment the clean sheet is Puerto Rico's Luis Castro with the the jersey gear he has four successive clearances as Thomas certainly wasn't close to clearing that he is the second man to exit the competition we've also lost a vendor itch with three failures at 225 but everybody else is cleared 225 tobei second time of asking Wang three successive clearances she bilko four successive clearances Castro four successive clearances this man and at the moment he shares the lead with Wang and with shoe bilko and the past gone up to two meters in 28 which for Castro would be a new indoor lifetime best early jump to 26 previously the Blazer sailed over four so far you've bet against him setting himself a new lifetime indoor best here the man from Puerto Rico we've actually hearing shouting come to our headphones in the arena here across States probably 70 or 80 meters away from us but you can hear him in real-time here tree bark noise canceling headphones shouting come on to the crowd as Castro Rivera of Puerto Rico challenges a new lifetime best of 228 at this time two more Rivera of Mexico to go next again a little bit of a European tour himself he's had a couple of three meetings in fact in the Czech Republic best of which saw him produced two meters 27 as we see a whole host away from that was he cast over there robot his his shoulders and back over it just clicked it with his hamstrings he came over well sure well that international tic-tac sign there is for high jump it was way too nicely wait he was watching this creating what it's watch to see the playback he wanted to get some instant you know recognition of what he's done wrong in that jump so you know the kind of nodded his head saw what you've done wrong and makes his way back height of his center stage at the moment apart from the 60 hurdles final which can't start till this is finished everything else is done and dusted so Rivera Mexico stopped him on his run up there and never really liked he was gonna get over that and didn't yeah it took off quite a way before the board and bar sorry and yeah wasn't the best perspective attempts he just goes over to getting a little bit feedback from his coach so Revere up to 28 first time failure and the chance to seem too much of weighing alive so far the Asian champion who but is sick for the World Indoor Championships in Birmingham last year the world in bills are in his native China next year so he would love to be a part of that I'm sure [Music] take me on here to bitters 28 for the first time why nope 231 he cleared in Karlsruhe which as we said would often be enough to win but he caught Toby on a good day yeah he did he's clear to 30 and 231 so far during this indoor season in 2019 have to take another attempt at 228 here so just your bilko of Germany clean sheet so far 228 European champion 226 at the weekend to take the German title on count back most of the 1500 crowd here inside the arena sport park hall in düsseldorf behind the man from the Labour cous in pseudocode 228 first time work to do there for him that's his first failure of the competition getting away the things have panned out I know an unscheduled delay in terms of the year the hurdles with that mr. squall applications earlier on but it does give there literally center stage to these field events great them isn't it you know we've only got seven competitors in this event 228 though this really seems to be there the bar that's finding a lot of these competitors out we might get to see behind tobei that the presentation podium was gone for now which means that the 16-bit hurls it won't be too far away it will be happening the final after this hi job has been completed this is now Toto Bay already the Tour champion 2 meters and 28 its first to techno one clear yet that wasn't far away from Toby Richard to kick him out of a car yes to be gendered we he's about 6 foot 5 you're about what you 5 foot 2 something like that and you kick today he goes the wrong transport from the venue and we had to extract him he's very polite the world leader we've removed himself from a bit of transport but anyway again here already close just with his heels I mean that off yeah it was a bit frustrated though you could actually see you know we kind of think you know I thought I was over it but yeah we all have to have another attempt to that so the national record holder of Puerto Rico Luis Castro going for a new lifetime best hits his second attempt at 2 meters and 28 that's close as well that's two in a row he was tell everyone to calm down off his first attempt that was closer still yeah he knows it doesn't he and again he's looking at the screen his team for the replay he's trying to get some instant feedback himself he's obviously a student of the sport he wants to know what to do where did I actually put my thought what hits it and he looks and you know he's getting a few signals a few minor adjustments that's all it takes to get over this bar he knows he's in great shape first time a superb replay team in the trucks outside here the acts of marking Charles and grant giving him what a year he needed there that is for sure you on the big screen here and here meet Lee turn around to his coat to the stand and showed him some sort of hand signal which to many knew what was wrong Rivera of Mexico two metres in 28th tier second attacked this would be a season's best again it's not close his run-up doesn't convince it just seems to be a little bit I don't know as he approaches the bed he just seems to go to very short snappy strides me yeah he's looking again his coach he's done this every single jump he's walked over his coach is trying to give him some information but it just doesn't look like it's working for him here this evening what everybody does things differently we're seeing athletes approaching from different sides their bare different takeoff legs and things but just a choppy stride isn't it from Rivera as he approaches the bed only got one attempt left at that height Wang 228 he's got two left and from Beijing to say Nanjing will host the war indoors which will all being well have no toto Bey in it he's only won the title here which means that he would be going as a wild-card why again that is a closed for Wang so he has got plenty to think about the his final attempt as well fourth meeting of his little European tour as well as we say before he heads back and again no global championships for these athletes I mean he's not that off with his leading arms knee yeah it wasn't a good clearance you know he didn't look like he was going to clear that one interesting that he has come on you know had an extensive indoor season over in Europe though I think a lot of the high jumpers sometimes they do need to actually compete to be able to compete in you know successive weekends is important she will go going for the extra rhythmical clap they're not just the slow hand clap he wants them add it full throttle here he goes to 28 second attempt for the European champion again no-one's particular part from the Castro Rivero would be setting a PB nobody else who's cleared this before has actually looked that close no this is normally run-of-the-mill for a lot of these athletes they've all got seasons bests you know in advance of 228 so we're yeah this just seems to be the one that's going to decide those those finish positions so the moment she bilko he's not let off with is at the middle part of his back as in his he's a guy over that one so he will come back for a third attempt so at the moment no one clear at 228 the leaders at the moment on count back three-way tie between Castro of Puerto Rico Wang and G bilko tobei this man is currently in fifth position overall but this will put him in the lead if he can clear 228 at the second attempt wondering Carl to a forum on German soil earlier on in the month once we've got here at little dot there we go just let us down this time what's the pratik about since Naoto be like that than me and the crowd like that and at least it shows you know 228 you know it can be done so yeah hopefully he's got the his back now he can just go and make some adjustments of course he has jumped in a balance of that on every single competition that he's done so far this year actually entered the competition quite early 220 and it's sometimes when you do it and kind of you know a height that's really within you sometimes it does just make you a little bit shake you and you start looking those bars off and maybe you start trying a little bit harder but you know he's played at 328 the first one to do that crunch time for Puerto Rico's Luis Castro Rivera has to clear this to stay in the comp oh it's close again these fractions away from a new lifetime best is Luis Castro Rivera he's out though it's 228 but it spirits of 225 has him in a share of second place currently behind Tobey he's got the gear he's got the moves it nearly went wrong we nearly fell off the better he's entertained as all evening as me who's been great because facial expressions just show is that you really enjoy in his sport he loves being here he's an entertainer high jumpers are they're so charismatic you know you've got to have that sort of personality and again yeah he did he was very very fortunate always check how close you are to the edge of the bed before doing reverse somersault out within my Obatala life amongst others so Rivera has certainly got the shoulders maybe that's what he's pointed to that somebody's got to improve he's not just showing off his muscle I don't think that's a technical aspect as he attempts to twenty eight as well the five-time champion of Mexico had to take the silver this year with a clearance of 226 this is 228 a lot of Heights didn't er a lot of spring but again not so much proportion across the bar yeah it's definitely in those legs I was watching the live footage there and yeah who's definitely at the heights but uh just didn't travel across the bar you see it again very very high wasn't he and then just just sort of died on him didn't he came down on it so it looked higher from the other angle actually rather didn't live that high second time around in fact so Wang after three successive appearances through to 2:25 all of a sudden now he has got a crucial attempt coming up here at two meters in the 28 to stay in the competition Wow pulled out of fire this previous two were not close that one didn't graze it yeah very light Toby I think as the height so increased them now that progressed in he looks you know he looks like he's gonna be we even meet the next height that was a big clearance well our numbers in Asia are viewing numbers when they get wind of tobei and Hwang having a bit of a an Asian battle here between Japan and China this man though wants something to say about that for sure G bilko to stay alive only to a clear so far this height and it stays it - it's not the European Champions day here he exits with a clearance of two meters in twenty five which puts him in a share for third place with Castro so it is Japan against China for the win Wang against Togo we seize your bill coat and again he'll know that's not close frustrating for the man from the Levesque you see you've really attacked that didn't he seems to go in with a lot more speed a lot more proportion but yeah unfortunately couldn't clear it here this evening so the bar will move up to 2 meters and 31 now which would eat cool not only the season's best but also the lifetime best indoors of that man wang just what he produced in Karlsruhe so these two definitely taking a liking to german high jump competitions on this either valet F World Indoor tour totally in cars who have 235 him third time Asian list probably Scott the top of that list is matters party with two meters 41 for toe bait at the end to get close to that he's gonna have to improve a long way for Toby at the moment on count back has the lead from Wang Wang has 2:28 as well in castro rivera 225 out of the competition of course what this is doing is helping the men 60 meters curbless who are waiting and waiting for their final which has got to be it's going to be some Express clearing up for the superb team here in the arena to get the high jump bed out swung round them out of the way quickly on the hurdles laid out for that men's 6db the hurdles final which is our concluding track event to reminder who's in that by the way the heat spell are they were last month over that long ago found the whites araba posi Ortega Crittenden mallets try Kovac Constantino with a lineup for that final Geraghty disqualified remember after a false start Ortega was initially shown a red card that was reinstated took his place in the fight so to tie jokers left still over a minute on the jump clock before Wang just now the corner of the shot there is and again they are Center Arena these two this is a great spectacle for for high jump you often seen some of the field events move to some great locations and we do at Central Station and out into the street and things that straight to have the focus of the arena here Wang 231 yes way is finding his form all of a sudden at 228 it looked like it wasn't gonna be his knife but Wang has equal his lifetime best or the first time clearance and the first time clearance but you think Chris is just really come into it though now in this competition equal that height that he did it calls your earlier this month and just saw Toby there in the background you know give him a little bit of a celebratory clap so yeah game on yeah nice to see and to bilko in the background as well giving him a bit of a clap - so good to see as we've mentioned the pole vault that's the one that the one event that does get a lot of media I guess for the camera rivalry between competitors it's good to see these two as well enjoying each other's competition here so now toto Bay the title of winner Danny follow Wang over Wang certainly laid a marker down there with that first time clearance not to be for Toby goes cartwheeling off the bed and the far side so advantage Wang so far who can put it looks like a ski jacket on it's not that cold here and it was just a little bit flat over the bar really he just you know came in with a real nice rhythmical style but yeah just a little bit flat peaked a little bit too early there student at the University of Tsukuba is tobei actually has a longtime personal best of 7 meters 52 going back to 2012 so I mean that's more but useful isn't it no but it's also bad for somebody doesn't do it I'm just thinking about how he would look spring him down the Long John runway because he said you see here it certainly looks like it more built for my job from the long jump put it that way all those long limbs I'm sure can propel her along the lot of us and as well take it a bit of advice here from Thomas is taking it in anyway there was just people iPhone us what you need to do is clear that bar to everybody so banks it's like he's off skiing after this anyway but he's the coke is off so here we go with the tactics because Toby has passed at 2:31 he's passed a second attempt the bar is going up to 234 because of course Toby knows and he wants to go pass back he's got a clear the next height so rather than waste his attempts at 231 voices energy he's going to go up to 234 so Wang has got the jacket off all of a sudden and don't forget now he's only got two attempts Toby now they already have one failure at 231 this is they were poking here between tobei it is three bays had eight to ten so far two one seven so you know maybe just saving his legs a little bit he knows he's got that height in him he's done it previously this would be a new outright TV buying recent musical one so this is the bar that he will have attempted before but never cleared it so Wang of China sick with the World Indoor Championships the Asian Games champion from last year before World University Games bronze medalist as well six times the national champion of China at the bars up at 234 and we're now into lifetime vest territory for Wang if he can clear this he is the current leader not just sips over doesn't he he's got so much spring he almost zips over zips off the bed and yeah he's got two more attempts so two more to come for Wang tobei only has two attempts at this they forget you only have three successive failures or you're out of the competition so when you fail at one height for example at first it's empty then you pass that a failure is carried forward effectively to the next height so Toby has to if both of them fail then Wang is the winner but tobei already has the title in the back that would be a nice little psychological marker for Wang I'm sure and these two I think enough quite a rivalry as we turn terms of their ages Wang twenty-seven tobei twenty-six so both fur gets at similar levels of their career tobei notably less achievements on a global stage so far though certainly an up-and-coming star and this is 234 the tobei one centimeter shire will be produced in Karlsruhe to stun that crowd just the law is behind them that is for sure he's at it again in this lads [Applause] these German bounces down the tracks of celebration are becoming very familiar from mojo tobei about the smile the high-five a man banging for yeah the bet paid off didn't it who 34 his second best clearance ever to one centimeter behind his personal best he certainly does like these German events in the German crowd and love in there so we're coming out to the best part of three hours live coverage already hear from düsseldorf on the double AF World Indoor Tour as it comes to its conclusion for 2019 we've already crowned the four of the champions earlier on today two of them that forget echeverria and Samuel were crowned in the previous meeting or finalized in the previous meeting in Birmingham the rest of the prizes will be given out of the conclusion of this evening's meeting one of them will be going this man's way now Soto bay and we still have the 60 meter hurdles final to come already running about 35 minutes behind schedule this is bonus entertainment for you watching wherever you are across Europe maybe further afield around the world live by the iwi YouTube channel with myself Chris temple of the World and European 800 meter medallist Jenny Meadows this is Wayne then second attempt at 234 pressure back on him now of a sudden and his accident a lifetime best indoors for Wang of China 2 meters and 30 for whatever you can do Toby I can do too what a competition that we're having like looks to start of the competition whether everyone's struggling to get over that 228 bar we've now got two men clear 234 and just great theme here you know a personal best by three centimeters these guys were both over 231 and 235 respectively who calls your and now two of these guys over 234 the pole will now be raised to 236 which if someone clear that would be a new world lead well this is a fascinating contest for sure in the men's high jump here and I guess fitting in a way we mentioned the fact that this has got the center of the arena this has got everybody looking at it all of a sudden now this is as they show the replay actually on the screen of the two athletes embracing here as well this has got the whole arena captivated it I think it would have done whatever else was going on around the arena definitely the men's 1500 meters promised so much it delivered the men's high jump is that scheduled right at the end of the competition because we thought we would have something like this and we've just got a bonus and wait for the men's 60-meter hurdles and we're really thinking that one's gonna be a cracker and come down to the wire as well so Wang here we go for jumping order means that he has the first attempt at 2:36 with tobei clear first time Wang then his outdoor personal best by the way is 233 so that is a new outright personal best for Wang indoors or out with 234 surely not anymore not this time no he knocks it off with his arm on his way up really and I'm just wondering whether he's ever attempted 236 having a personal best of you know to 33 outdoors I'm pretty sure he's probably you know it tried to attempt to that if I thought sometimes when you actually attempt in a bath the first time it can be a little bit overwhelming he didn't really get close to it on that attempt really really hard to contain your emotions after you've had such a significant increase in a personal best but you know 234 and he's got a couple more attempts at the 236 bar as well I'm just going back through Jenna but as far as I can see certainly going about the last three years or so when when is a achieve most of the things he's achieved he hasn't ever attempted two meters 36 so this is certainly new Tara to this it probably is first ever attempt at two minutes even Rojas is loving the high jump I've been watching her she's got a flowers there she sat in the front row and she's just really enjoying this competition tobei then first attempt for him at 2:36 again that's enough there's enough there isn't there to give you a bit of encouragement that was better than one attempt yeah I mean obviously he's already done 235 just a couple of weeks ago I wouldn't put it past one of these guys at least getting this to 36 and I'm not sure whether the 60 meter hurdle is are appreciating this right now they're still not sure for what time they're gonna be competing at but you know the crowd are enjoying it well I guess one man who probably it says the recovery I mean not not raised so often and because he might be enjoying a bit more recovery between races I suppose but just to bring up today Tonto Bay by the way the man were looking at there he actually attempted to 36 in Birmingham at the weekend in the the fifth event the I double F World Indoor tour where he fared the second attempt you may remember in Karlsruhe gym and we were sat alongside each other he actually had three goes at 2:37 as well so he has attempted these heights before a chat with Donald there whatever he's been saying some pretty good advice we were we were making light of Donald Thomas experience and whatever he was passing on polite nod from tobei to say yeah thanks very much experience that you're a world champion I'm listening to what you're saying I'm just going to carry on with whatever up plant there so then back we go to way having its first step at two meters in 36 attempt number two he's in second place a Chinese record already looks all looking so good and then the last the last moment he took him right instead of an up very much similar to the pole vaulters you know when sometimes you bail you just don't quite feel right once you know that you know the jump doesn't feel right you just gotta sometimes just abort it you could actually end up injuring yourself so better that he did that and save his energy for his their last attempt so one more to go for Wang 236 Toby 236 as well a hush around the arena of course the other thing is that this is an intense competition in terms of the turnaround between the jumps here because these two really bouncing from one to the next aren't they there's still a minute and a half left on the jump clock for toe baby you can sit on the left of the shot there and as we saw in Karlsruhe he doesn't mess around with wasting time he was going sometimes for the whole minute left to go and it looks like he's very much doing the same here still got about 70 seconds but he looks like go in the next slide I'll take a second second attempt to 36 tobei again about as much encouragement as the first one a little bit there so he actually need to 3 let's take it right back to go over to 20 the start of the competition Toby unbelievable that we'd actually got to the situation of two guys still in it to 36 and I think he is getting a little bit tired now he just had a little bit of a moment on the beds to regather himself and he's just walking back now a few thoughts going through his head I'm sure they're like stood or over anyone in the pole-vaulter who'll be one of the next to be crowned as part of the presentations here when she was in the competition my house broke ass again [Applause] it's great for those funds you get to sit near oh they're critical to leave out the show in this event my name and we grow up they can't see she's dancing in front they can't see so here we go with Wang then 236 he pulled out 228 million YouTube attempt he's already got a new Chinese indoor record the Chinese outdoor record by the way is at 239 that's served and set for about 40 years or so at the moment and the main focus is 236 volume ramping up here in Dusseldorf not to be for Wang but he certainly delighted the crowd this evening to 34 lifetime best national indoor record for Wang of China and he takes second place it takes some performance to beat a height like that and credit to toe bait he's done it again yeah one walking away with a personal best a national record 234 and doesn't win the competition that actually just shows the caliber of jumping that we've got here this evening so he does so Wang who produce we say his three comps and listen at the European Tour 230 231 and 227 it said noticeable improvement for him so is there any more left in the legs of toe raise and a tough little stretch here in Europe lots of competitions he's been performing very well indeed third attempt two meters and 36 for another new Japanese record personal bests and to confirm himself as the winner here is already a winner is all on the tour this would be a cherry on the top but another fantastic competition you've got the name in your notebook already tobei the Olympics next year are in his homeland of Japan an exciting medal prospect for sure 234 the winning heights are overall out of the layup world indoor Tour winner no toto Bay of Japan but once again a fantastic high jump competition yeah really treated us all to it and you can see that all the other high jumpers it congratulates in them oh boy he received it I think having that rivalry gets people to really push each other on helped them get those you know great lightsworn into the competition and absolute carnage going on in the arena now honestly their hurdles are out the high jump bird is getting packed away I can see the 60 meter hurdlers ready to have their event presentation and yeah the meeting is just going to come a light again in the next event coming up the men exhibit hurdle to finish well we mentioned that the as we see a repair tow mate final attempt here I think all three would probably comparably similar one in terms of how close you got really close ish but not close enough and as you say Jen in the back row here it's likely yet the worker bees are certainly going into overdrive feared only if they've got a clear up the high jump but also get the hurdles out men's 60-meter hurdles final on the way very shortly indeed our final events of this the fourth edition of the either player world indoor tour which is taken in six meetings we started in cars who went to Turin winter madrid amongst other places birmingham boss to the quarter so we started in Clausewitz at that a couple of times we started the European legging car through Boston of course in the USA was jokingly and we conclude here in düsseldorf [Applause] you just get a flavor to sort of the right able to confirm the hi job results national record for Wang China endorse Castro Rivero as well with two meters in twenty five perform well but it's in going on in the center of the arena as the hurls come out my heart [Applause] we are set the athletes about a long hold in the call room give us an idea what happens thank you so I'm sure you've been in this situation before where you're expected to start at a certain time something in the arena which means it doesn't happen what are you doing how much information they giving you yeah I've been in this situation many times sometimes because of false starts maybe outdoors because of weather you know you've just really got to just think to yourself well everybody's in the same position it's not just me it can be really frustrating when you've got a certain structure to your warmup you know you like to do things at certain order you'll know how long you're going to jog for stretch for you know do your strides for especially their technical events there's a 60 meter hurdles they'll have two opposite cleave some barriers but yeah we're just looking now at their final scores at the men's high jump it's so easy for tobei in the terms of that scoring car they're the three winds that he picked up giving it the maximum 30 points he takes the $20,000 and a wild card to Nanjing next year's world indoors [Music] so after that long hole than the uncertainty and the restaging if you like after the army this event was supposed to be taking place it stopped at eight o'clock or maybe even earlier than that special tech bars at 7:30 8:00 is the official time so if you are hour and 40 minutes later these athletes due to the protests and things that we're going on about these qualifications most of the crowd of statewide to empty seats of people who went to go and get the last train or something we've got somewhere to be work tomorrow morning but most of the crowd here have stayed we're going to be crowning don't forget the champions as well over the overall Tour titles nine of the eleven being decided or being crowned here in Dusseldorf this evening and it all comes down to the best part of seven and a half seven and three-quarter seconds for our closing action of the evening eight men over the 60 meter barriers ortega some of they say it a bit fortunate to be in there of course and we've been disqualified whatever he said to the officials it worked before we get to that though we have got some of the presentations as these 16 earners are quite rightly giving a bit of time to to warm up and get things sorted get their blocks set up a couple of practices over the barriers tobei didn't get time to go off his brow he's backed out to fear it to talk about to bearer across the post race on Saturday in Birmingham the committee said to celebrate that while record is one or two schools at least you didn't know how because it didn't come up on the infield school but actually people so happy you look so disappointed to run I don't think he did no well he was on the back straight he was kind of do it you know you normally picture a lot and then I think someone must have had a bit of a word in there he saw a grin on his face they must be given the information and again it's just he has the fortunate position of not having that monkey on his back having to go for the world record so let's talk you through these champions being crown and delicacy door over of Russia panda authorized mutual athlete of course winning the pole vault comfortably in the end Stephanie Dean her closest challenger wasn't at the races today and it was Sid Oliver with the overall title again she'll be a real player for the European indoors when they come around in Glasgow the start of March winning height in the end for Siddhartha was four meters and seventy-seven same one from Korea Kapoor [Applause] [Music] so our next to me crowd is Nathan Strava of the USA who in a fascinating head-to-head with Pavel Maz Lackey the 400 meters it all came down to the home stretch and Strava well you got to say for someone of his relative inexperience of 23 his race management was superb what a great race it was [Applause] next is the women's 800 meters which again was a setup to be a battle really between ad litem alamo of ethiopia and potentially shillelagh Austin Clarke of Great Britain will in the end it was alamou who a front running tactics she took over early in the race two minutes point seven zero the winning time for however who takes the 10 points and the overall title ahead of Oscar and Clarke [Music] so three about well there's narrow the overall series here is Samuel to fare who don't forget was beaten this evening yeah kubinka Brits in a new world under 20 record time 336 0-2 but Saphira a world record and a world indoor tour title in a space of a few days not a bad [Applause] anything anywhere near as good a weakness - Farah that is sure for sure and again now can he reproduce Outsiders and beaten indoors until today Dover get lost his unbeaten record in his career today can he transfer outdoors only finish fifth for the world under-20s last year he's the man that we've just seen no toto by Japan 234 just below his previous best reproduced to across in Karlsruhe for the crowd appreciates in the contest that he and when served up today and Toby if you have been having a better the star be indoor tourists who would take the title computer probably a couple of others who would have been ahead of him [Applause] see that he's actually quite staggering 2:29 [Applause] I realize difficult to take down in a gadget so joined on the podium Mavis probe odor in the blue top there who takes the women 60 meters but lost to tal loose and a new personal best and world lead this evening broke-ass in the triple jump did never all their own way this evening became through late with a late jump to take the lead and Jarrett Eaton who mixed emotions for him he's on the podium in the arena and right behind him the men's 60th hurdlers have just walked off to be reintroduced to the crowd meetin would have expected to be one of the center lanes for the final and he's not even in the lineup disqualified after a full stop certainly you can't from we've talked about fleets connecting that we personalities and making themselves accessible to their fans and just feeling a bit revealing in terms of details in their life just we've been little bit about themselves there's no doubting what Rojas is about is there that it's because she's something that we would love to watch came out on that round you know it was a pressure jump and she found the pressure she did what it takes and she's just really been enjoying the whole evening here everything [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] took any energy to win the women's triple jump you wouldn't know it she's still got plenty is ulama Rojas still lots more to come from 23 years of age Road champ it indoors and out so the fans have stayed right to the engine Eaton is crawling a few autographs to learn more about afterwards probably Darren's websites well worth having a look at is whether it's got lots of childish schemes on there he's got a scheme at the moment with other people bring in extra pairs of spikes to help out underprivileged schoolchildren in America is a great example about to do so this is a look back at the 60 meter hurdles heats earlier on Jarrett eaten their third from the left disqualify that slight full start got the red card it was just under the allow reaction time and eaten his night never got going this is the second of those heats so this is the rerun I should say rather of Jerry Eaton absent as we see Crittenden coming through and also trauma of Germany Andrew palsy the World Indoor champion finishes strongly besotted this was heat to a full start for more tiger in lane three initially we've shown the red car by the officials in the top two on the rankings we're all of a sudden out but I'll tell you get said something and he was back in from Lane three a sedate start that got going in the second half of the race to take his position in the final chased home by the likes of Aaron mallet and milind try kovitch to put their position in the men's 60 meter hurdles final coming up on final event so even though Eaton's not in this file it is still his title ten points for a win remember means that he cannot be caught at the top of the standings [Music] so barriers are set the stage is set here come the athletes Germany representing in lane one Eric Brown the whites National silver medalist we go to the lane eight next in Gabriele Constantina the South American record holder indoors and out over the sprint hurdles and goes to Lane eights as we merge towards the big guns in the middle Gregor Chou by another of the German athletes Germany in lanes one and two here fresh from winning the national title in Germany here on the weekend mail and track image for Cyprus he is torn in Lane seven second in Turin second inventory prepared in Birmingham the world and European Indoor champion andropause II a surprise name in the lineup back from injury trying to prove himself to earn its place on the Great Britain team to defend his title in Glasgow on home soil Aaron mallets in the USA the best of 7:56 set this year Aaron Malek drawn in Lane six [Music] here is then a bit of drama earlier on but he's got his place in the final giving up unfortunately as world indoor tour title from two years ago he won this two years ago as well he will take her Olympic silver medalist blame for finally Freddy Crittenden he is loving life here this evening Freddy Crittenden in the US athlete 753 his personal best set in Birmingham at the weekend when he finished second he goes in Lane 5 so unorthodox preparation who are we looking at here Jeff can posi possibly reproduce with coming back from such a long way off to much in the heat so slightly these blocks a little bit you know quiet spots to see other guys over the first he borrows it was really coming through towards the end I think I'll take oh pretty good ballots those the guys that should be watching the final event of the 2019 rwf world indoor is the men's 60 metres hurdles final for the inside round the whites trauma pausing Ortega Crittenden mallet try kovitch Oh more drama more drama full starting heat one false start need two false starts in the final we should have known the script by this point shouldn't we there are tents enormous you know you've got seven and a half seconds to get over five barriers it's a bit of movement with troika in seven I think there's wobbling a little bit but again looking it looks a little even break Jamie any views I was looking at me five I was looking at Christa doing I'm not sure it wasn't obvious but yeah I think named five it's certainly a little bitter twitch from both five and seven I think Crittenden in five try kovitch and seven here comes the dreaded cards is that a yellow one yellow warning the curriculum so he stays in the last thing leads to the meters gonna write on the lights if we have any more delays it's a sure so Crittenden stays alive and we have a full complement of eight for a second attempt the been 60 meter hurdles final does that affect Crittenden now going into the second still $3,000 by the way for the winner on the night even though Eaton's title is out of reach away this time they go Crittenden in five try kovitch going on the outside posi started well as well but now we'll take a sudden comes we will take our track image and it might have been tracking it on the near side with the dip 7.5 to the winning time always hard to tell when the athletes are quite far apart in the lanes but male that track of each possibly unthought-of really in terms of the major players in this race after you come through to make it or did Ortega hang on so obviously the athletes and fans themselves know they can tell who's actually taking it yeah he's been giving the win given the same time Ortega 752 and try courage 752 or posi actually got a pretty good start there this is where Ortega starts to come to keep an eye on try coverage on this near side because here you'll think it is got it are on the lean I mean that is close isn't it I think the camera angle probably affecting my mind in terms of try cam it's taking it but well-executed in the end we'll take it takes the win well you know that you say to be delayed by almost two hours to be able to still come out and 5 2 seconds and actually it was the season's fair imagine anyone miss personal back so it's certainly delivered 7.52 seconds I'll take a tape in the wind well that is how close it was there I mean that is an inch on the chest isn't it from Ortega nearest the Cameron of white vest and the reverse angle that we were looking at when they came through the first time so very very close indeed good performance from Midland try kovitch and again heading to the European doors that will give him a bit of confidence as well but it is Ortega who takes the win despite the earlier drama and the 10 points go his way the prize money on the evening as well Andrew Fozzie by the way 767 as we just confirmed the full result for you so an improvement on his performance in the heat Andrew Posey and Great Britain selectors waiting to see if he's declaring his fitness we'll be certainly a step in the right direction for him as he attempts to defend our title in Glasgow [Applause] [Music] but completeness let's just show you how the men 60-meter hurdles overall tour standings end up those 10 points for on take it just narrow the gap to eat it at the top he's already received a surprise disappointing night personally Britain he is the overall 2a title winner [Music] so there he is Orlando or take it celebrating his victory so let's take you right back to the start of the evening shall we Cristina SH 1x giving the home fans some of the shouts about with our first event of this evening 1914 no winning put in the women's pole vault well it was Stephanie Lee against Siddhartha for the overall title it was a meeting record of 477 as Sid Oliver took the old world tour title minute and the victory here in Dusseldorf receiving two in the triple jump while you Lamar rode ass had three successive fouls when she produced when she needed to 14 meters and 46 her winning jump as the world champion indoors and out landed their spoils in the triple and she the 60 meters women while it was the unbeaten Eva Swoboda who was upstaged by Mary Jo's a talu a world made of 7.02 a lifetime best indoors as well and talu producing when it mattered spur boater taking the overall title but talu in scintillating form this evening as you can see what it meant to her as well taking three hundredths of her previous best the lens 400 meters when it was these two shooting it out strata and mass lack for the title and Nathan Strada the 23 year old for the USA came through to take it from the experienced mouths like straw that very consistent performances across the tall men's high jump an all-asian battle but it went the way of no toto bay again with a meeting record of 2 meters and 34 producing in Germany once again after his efforts in Karlsruhe and certainly become a name to be watching out for that's for sure just edging out Wang of China who set a new Chinese indoor record and the lifetime best in finishing in second place women's 800 meters will Elena Ethiopia the national record holder was the favourite Aussie and Clarke in the end had no answers before Great Britain it was a lay mood just outside the two-minute mark who came through to take the overall title in the women's 800 meters the vents 1500 metres of what they were all talking about and Jakov Ingebrigtsen got the better of the new world indoor record holder Samuel - fira coming up to the line a world under-20 record for Ingebrigtsen 336 zero to a PB 2 for his brother for them and the meant 60 meter hurdles our final event of the evening after plenty of drama in heats and with full starts it went the way over Orlando Ortega who took it same time as track image but right on the leaner it went to land or taker that was our final event then after a protracted delay for the men's 60-meter hurdles or taker producing when it mattered takes the flowers takes the spoils and it will be a metal force at the European Indoor Championships in Glasgow at the start of March so that is how it looks here in the hall in bristled off Jim we've got a little bit of time very quickly just to wrap up the tour some fantastic performances that chance we were looking forward to didn't let us down in one go I've really got instruments by Jupiter in this foreigner that doesn't disappoint cement that's probably man I like the whole evening to Pharaoh and Inga bricks and a highlight too but from all of the team associated with the I double AF World Indoor tour from all of us here in Dusseldorf hope you've enjoyed the coverage for myself Chris temple and Jenny meadows thanks for being with us scooby-doo good night [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music]
