[radio chatter] So we're sitting here blacked
out, um, on a side street. We've got-- have
located a-- a stolen car that we've been looking
for pretty much all day. So the vehicle
left the residence and actually went up the hill. We wanted it to come down. [radio chatter] Put your hands out the
door so I can see them. Keep them there. I got the passenger covered. Driver, step out with
your hands in the air. Walk backwards to the
sound of my voice. Keep walking backwards. Keep walking backwards. Take two steps to your right. Walk backwards. Ready? Yeah. - Got your cuffs?
- Yep. OK. Stop. Hands behind your back. Do not move, do
you understand me? Passenger, with your
hands in the air, step out of the vehicle
and face away from me. Walk backwards to the
sound of my voice. Keep walking backwards. Keep walking backwards. Stop. Take two steps to your right. Face away from me. Walk backwards. Walk. Walk. Walk. Walk. Stop. Hands on top of your head. OK. OK, so I want you
to turn back here, OK? Stand right here. I'm just going to make sure that
you don't have anything on you. Yeah. Do you understand
what's going on here? OK, so that vehicle's stolen. OK? OK, so we'll work
through it, and we'll get it figured out, OK? All right. OK, for right now,
just so you're aware, you're under arrest for felony
theft of a motor vehicle. No, unfortunately, it
doesn't work that way. OK. It's reported stolen
at this point. That-- OK, not after people
put liens against it, and it's been in their
possession for more than a year, OK? So as of now, that vehicle
belongs to House of Color, and you're not
authorized to enter their secure storage
facility and take it after business hours. What happened is is
she took her vehicle into a body shop in town to
have some work done on it. She did not pay her bill. They actually filed
a mechanic's lien on the vehicle, which pretty
much made them the owners of the vehicle at that point. She decided she
wanted her car back. So she entered their fenced
compound and stole the vehicle. [music playing] An ex-employee
has showed up to his former place of business and
is causing some issues there. It does sound like we've
got another deputy on scene, so we're going to go and
assist him with this, uh, former employee. So when they said you
couldn't get on the property, was it clear that you
could not come back here? Yes. I said South Dakota
might be an option. OK, hang tight for me. I'm going to make a phone
call and call these people and see what's
going on, all right? OK.
- OK, OK. Hang tight with my partner
here, Deputy Hettman. Hello, Hettman. Hi there. She's fast, and you
don't run anywhere. What was your name again? Johnny. Johnny. OK, well, what's going
on today, Johnny? Well, I tried to show all my
SSI papers and my pay stubs. OK. To teach them how to [muted]
hire a guy that can [muted] actually do everything at once. OK. But they don't
understand that. If they let you
go, and you come back to the place of business
where you used to work, I mean, you can understand why
they're calling us here to-- to have you removed, right? Well, they told me to leave
when I was on my way out. OK. This is your car, Johnny? It is my mother's. She made enough payments
on it to where it's hers. OK. How come you drove up on
the parking curb there? Oh. OK. OK. So it turns out these
guys haven't, at least in our system,
haven't formally asked you to not be here before.
- OK. But I'm going to
write you a citation for-- for trespassing
because you were asked that you don't come back here.
- That's fine. And then it's
going to be done now, so you're not going to be able
to come back here again, OK? OK, that's fine. I'm going to pat you down,
put you in the back of my car. I'll take you to The Reno, OK? What is all that goo on my car? Gum. You just put-- It's Trident. Johnny? It's Trident. I can't even chew
Trident anymore. This is brand-new
paint, Johnny. This is a 2019 model,
man, smooth as butter. Hey, yo, red cinnamon-- Oh, come on, Johnny. Red incinerator cinnamon. But it's green, Johnny. Come on now. What happened to your shirt? I got-- I got too hot. It was too cheap. It didn't breathe right. I usually just use clothing
like physical therapy and just tear out of them. Just Hulk out of them? Well, no, that's Keith. You and me both, brother. Yeah. All right. Have a seat, Johnny. OK. Put your feet in there. All right. So I think we're going
to get this guy on his way. We're going to get
his car towed here, and then we'll, um, just
write him some citations for the trespass to the
property for coming back to his former
employer after being asked to leave several times. We'll give him a ride
to where he needs to go. [music playing] We had a call of a welfare
check of a vehicle in a ditch. Complainant called in,
thought it might have been an accident or whatnot. So-- [radio chatter] Yeah, I got a vehicle in
the ditch here at the 108. It looks like an
out-of-state plate. [radio chatter] Welfare check on a vehicle here. We'll see it was
involved in an accident. I think it's been
here for a while. Someone's sleeping. [knocking] Sheriff's office! 10-4, we're waking up
a female driver now. Are you OK? Yeah. OK. So you pulled over way
down in the ditch here. Yeah, because I didn't-- Your bike? OK, how long have you been here? A couple hours? Yeah, we got a call someone
saw a vehicle in the ditch and wanted us to check on
it and make sure that there wasn't an accident, so. We have a lady
that was traveling up from California to
Northwestern Montana to check some property. And, uh, she left there about
11 o'clock, has been driving, had to pull over. Her eyes were bothering her,
and she was going to sleep here, and she pulled away down in
the ditch to protect her bike. It's kind of odd for sure. We want to make sure she
wasn't intoxicated or whatnot, but she's just had some
issues with the night driving, basically, and
pulled over to sleep. So you thought you had pinkeye? So is that a prescription
from before for pinkeye? Oh, OK. You think you're able
to see well enough to get to the truck stop, or-- Yeah. Yeah. It's down there. You take the first
exit on your right and just follow it and go
over top of the interstate, and you'll see the
truck stop there. Other than that, we'll get
a bunch of calls on you here and stuff like that, so-- OK, are you all right, though? All right, well, if you're
fine, you need anything from us? You're good? OK. Have a good night. Yeah. So she pulled over
to take a nap. She was tired,
and, plus, she had some issues with their eyes,
been here for a couple hours. And, um, we advised her to
move on down to the truck stop, be a little safer spot for
her, and, uh, go from there. She's OK. [music playing] So I'm responding to a
report of a bear that's trying to get into a house. It sounds like the
caller is saying that the large bear
is pushing on a window and scratching it
from the outside. We'll see if there's
anything that we can do to-- to help out with the bear. We'll come inside and see if
we can get more information. Hi, there. Did you call about the bear? No, not by the driveway. We're-- He was just here a second ago. Oh, really? I got videotape
of him on my deck. Oh, no. OK. He was-- right up here. Did he-- knocked that over? You can probably
see things right here. OK. Yeah, it does-- He's very aggressive. I've-- I've lived here 25 years,
and I've had a lot of bears. This is the only one I've
ever had run me in the house. Really? A black bear? A little black bear, yeah. OK. Had an Amazon package. Right there? Yeah, he started
eating it there. Oh, wow! He took of that
direction with it, so I don't know if it's
still there or not. OK. But like I said,
every time I've had-- you see him? Great. Yeah, he's right here. Were you able to get any--
a hold of any Fish and Game? There is a black bear out here. Yeah, so we should
probably get inside. Yeah. I don't want him to-- There's an open garage door
if you guys want to come in. All right. Well, maybe we'll
come in and just wait. Yeah. He's pretty big. We're at Greenough. Let's go that way. [laughter] Affirm. It's right in the driveway, and
he's walking into the garage. Yeah, I was tapping
on the window. Whenever you do that,
he comes towards it. So-- Wow! That's-- usually, they
run the other way. He's really curious. Oh, no, he-- he slammed. This door doesn't latch. He kicked this door
open when I was cooking, and the door went flying around. When I looked around the
corner, he was right here. Then he turned around and walked
away, but he was after my food. [music playing] There it is right there. 396465. So, yeah, we're going to leave. He's starting to pop
his jaws a little bit, and, uh, we'll try to get
a hold of the bear trapper that works for Fish and Game
here in the next few minutes. So it looks like he just
ran around the back side of your house. I'm going to leave
the door open so we can kind of keep an eye on him. OK. We were just having
another officer go to a park that's
nearby just to warn people because this bear has
been approaching people. It sounds like they're
going to be in a game warden to come out here, set
up a trap for the bear, hopefully capture it,
and relocate the bear. This bear has maybe been
to a bunch of these houses. It's maybe being conditioned
by eating the trash and packages off of porches. So they're going to want
to transport him far, so that way he doesn't
come back to the same area and cause problems again. [music playing] So we're responding to a male. He says that he just
had his jaw broken. Unknown where the suspect is. He's advising
dispatch that he's not very cooperative with
answering their questions. 39646, I'm going to be out
with this male right at-- it looks like it's our guy. 10-4. What's going on, partner? You OK? What's your name? Brad, come over
here and sit right by the push bumper of my car. What happened? Long day? Man, I could tell. No guns, bombs, knives on you? That just a cell phone? Yeah. Glasses? What happened to your face? You don't know? Where were you at? Did somebody hit you? No? You got an ID on you? No? All right, I'm going to
leave those in there. Where were you at
when this happened? I don't know. Were you in a wreck? No. No? How did this happen then? You don't know? Were you with somebody? You think you fell over? Where did you think
you fell over at? Right over here. All right, I want you to
talk to these medical guys real quick, OK? [inaudible] with
the Fire Department. Can you smile for me? So he was walking
from back over there. So if you could maybe walk
back over there and see, I'd assume that there's
some blood on the ground. So obviously has
some facial injuries. He's not really cooperating
with us telling us exactly what happened with him. So it's unknown at this
time if it was an accident, or if somebody struck
him, or if he just fell. Oh, there's his
stuff right there. [music playing] 10-4. So I think I found some
of Brad's belongings, our guy who got injured. It sounds like he's
kind of a transient. Again, it's still unknown
if this was an assault of if he just fell down. He just keeps responding saying
that it was a long night. And I don't know if he
came to this building looking for help or-- the original call,
he just really wasn't cooperating with us. [music playing] That looks like it's
been here for a-- there's the blood right there. 439463. It's going to be over here
by the front of the building. It looks like I found a
bike and a bunch of blood. Yeah, it looks like he came over
here and sat down, or whatever. I wonder if he was trying
to get into this place. So my partner found another
scene with a bunch of blood over on the backside
of the building. Um, it looks like
it's on a card reader. So it's possible that
he was actually trying to break into this building
and may have fallen and this happened. So they're going to take
him in, get him checked out. He's conscious and
breathing right now. It looks like he
probably does have some pretty good injuries to his
teeth and his-- his nose, so-- but I think,
ultimately, he'll be-- he'll be all right. [music playing] 39646. 6-6. I'll be with a male. He's laying down right
by the railroad tracks and the community church. All right, so we're going
to go check on someone here. He's laying down
here on the ground, make sure he's OK,
check his welfare. 463. Hey, bud, you doing OK? Sheriff's office. [radio chatter] Hey, you OK? Sheriff's office. Hey, bud, you all right? Sheriff's office. I want to have medical come
out and check you out, OK? [groaning] You all right, bud? You OK? Why don't you have
a seat there for me? Why don't you have a
seat on the ground, man? I don't want you falling down. Hey, sir, have a
seat right here. Yeah, sit-- sit right here. Put your butt down
there on the ground. I don't want you
falling down there, man, with you cracking
your head open. You can sit on your butt there. It's all right. Do you have-- do you
have an ID on you? You're not-- I know that, man. Holy-- look, at all
this stuff in here. What is your first name? Mike. Mike? Yeah. Mike, without me
having to go through your whole entire wallet, where
would your ID be in here, man? I don't know. They're going to come
check you out, all right, man, to make sure you're OK. OK. Hey, how you doing? When I came up, his eyes
were like completely in the back of his head,
just pretty intoxicated. Sleeping. A hard time-- a hard time walking when
I saw him standing up, so I don't want him
falling on the ground, opening up his head. That would be a yes. I'm just going to
hold on to you, OK? [radio chatter] Once you get standing,
I'll let you go. There you go. Good job. Nice and easy. We'll walk over there, OK? 10-4. So the fire
department, the medics, are going to go
ahead and transport him to St. Patrick's Hospital. Hopefully, he can sober up
and, uh, get on his way. He's-- he's pretty drunk, man. [music playing] Anyway, we've got some
loose horses or mules. Uh, they were out on the road,
and now they're in a guy's field or his yard here. Huh? What's up? Not yours? Not mine. Any idea who they belong to? So somebody had called them in
as just being out on the road. Um, I'll walk across
the road and see if there is a
pasture, or a fence, or a gate across the road
that maybe I can get them in. But you've never seen
them before, though, eh? I haven't. OK. [radio chatter] The gal who owns the property
at the end of the road, right next to Joe's place,
is where these came from. OK. So-- I'm going to go bring
my rig down on this end since that's the way
they keep moving. What are you doing, eh? Come here. Come here. Mike, the horse whisperer. Go ahead. Come on. [chuckles] Where one goes,
they're all going to go. You better hurry up. They're leaving you. They just kind of wandered
off into a yard here. It's really not the
most ideal thing. It's not pasture, but
as far as just being able to get them contained
and get them off the road, this is, uh, well,
second-best scenario. You guys go back.
[clap] Come on. [clap] Come on. [whistle] [clap] No. I was on the other road. - Were you?
- Yeah. [laughter] Well, they, uh-- they were out
there behind this guy's house, and they just got the hankering
to run across the road. And they ended up
in this guy's yard, so we closed the
fence on them, and-- Any idea-- That's the way to do it. Any-- Any idea who-- who-- I mean, we-- we knocked at the
door, and there's no answer. There's a car there,
but we're trying to have dispatch try a
couple of phone numbers, but if you want to take-- take a look at the
horses and tell me if you know who they might belong to. Whose are they? [inaudible] Yeah, they're down
a little further. Right We can't get hold of Mark,
and they can just, you know, get a couple of guys. All right. So Joe was able to
help us out with not only who the owner is, but also
who takes care of the horses. And, uh, fortunately, he
knows where these people live, and he's going to go down
and knock on some doors. He's going to get the horses
back to where they belong. In the meantime,
we'll try to get a hold of the property owner
and let him know why there's six horses in their yard. [music playing]
Whatever that black bear ate from that package looks like its not agreeing with him very well.
Surprised they didn't have griz spray in their utility belts.
First time I have seen this and watched the whole clip. Showed the Missoula county crew in good light. Seems like a professional outfit and cheap entertainment to boot.
This show is trash and should be illegal.
This is the most Montana thing I have ever seen.
This is just exploitation of poor communities for profit and itβs disgusting the Missoula sheriff signs up for this shit.
Riveting stuff. Runaway horses? Wild, wild west stuff right there. /s
im so confused on why people donβt like this show.
Complete exploitation of the community, Montana should be ashamed. Fuck this show; from the ground up it has empowered police to be showmen instead of servants. Not like they weren't before, but PD is a magnifying glass. Enjoy morons, I hope your children make the show
