- So it sounds like one of our other units are in pursuit of a vehicle right now. We'll try to catch up and assist him. OK, vicious? - I don't know yet. - OK. - Yeah. - Hi, sweetie. Can you walk down here to us? We're the police. What's your name? - Hi. - Hi. - Yeah, but there's a dog there. - My name's Evan. What's your name, sweetie? - She's friendly. - Can you come walk down to me? - So we can take you to your dad, OK? - Yeah. Hi. - You're going to be OK. We're just going to take you to your dad, OK? - No, I got you. - Hi, sweetie. What's your name? - Right now, everything's OK. I'm not worried about the house as soon as we get her. - Come on. Hi. - We're going to go take you to your dad right now, OK? - Come here. Hi, sweetie. Can I pick you up? There we go. - Grab her. - Hi. How are you doing? - You're all right. Is that comfy? Is that better? Yeah? It's OK, baby girl. - Do you know if they're working on the mom yet? OK, are you good here with her? - Yeah, I'm good with her. - OK, yeah, I'll go check about the mom. - OK. - Yeah, I just wanted to get her out of the house because that dog-- I don't know if that dog's vicious, or sirens might set it off. It might bite her. - Dude, that-- that dog, I was like-- - It looked vicious. So luckily it didn't rush us or anything. Right now, our main concern is actually taking care of the child. She's only three years old. She was left home alone. Obviously, her father had some warrants and decided to lead us on a high-speed pursuit. So I'm going to see if I can find a toy or something for her to play with while she's waiting. So we were able to find this. So we'll see if she likes it, hopefully. Hey, sweetie. I got a little treat for you because you were so brave. Do you want this? - You got a lion. - Yeah. He's pretty-- he's pretty soft too, so he's a good one. What are going to name him? - The new "Lion King" is coming out. - Ooh, that's a good one. - You could name-- you could name the lion Simba or Nala like "The Lion King" because you were so brave. - Or you can just name it Lion. That's what I always named all my stuffed animals when I was a kid. So at this point, he's going to be charged with this felony warrant. He's going to be charged with felony eluding for the pursuit he led us on. And also, it appears he's unlicensed. It sounds like they have contacted her mother so she's on the way to come pick her up. That way, she doesn't have to go into the system or into foster care for a night or anything that. If preferable, we always try to release them to a family member because it's a lot better of a situation for the kids.
