LIGHTNING MY HAIR WITH VITAMIN C

guys this is steaming [Music] hey guys welcome back to another video it's Lizzie so as you guys can see in the title I'm basically trying to lighten my hair so you guys can notice that my hair is black I was actually trying to go for more of a brown but I don't know what happened this is why you don't use box dye I don't really ever use a box either but because of isolation and because of everything being closed my only resort was a Walmart and Walmart's box died did this to me actually I think it was L'Oreal L'Oreal did this to me know here at L'Oreal bow but I was not trying to go for this so I was doing a little bit of research and I was watching youtube videos about how to lighten your hair there was one youtuber I forgot her name but I'll put her video in the description just so you guys can watch her video just because I got the idea from her I'm not sure she's the one who started it but yeah she's the one who introduced me to this so I wanted to give it a try because her hair was black and then when she did the this treatment basically it lightened up her hair so you do only need two things for this you do only need vitamin C and shampoo she used his shoulder so I went out of my way and awesome head and shoulder as well so I'm using this one the head and shoulder classic clean I went for the bigger bottle just because you can do more than one treatment just to keep late in lightining up your hair so yeah I got a big bottle just in case I want to lighten it more and then vitamin C this is the only one I can find at Walmart so I do hope this one works and I did ask the pharmacist and he told me this so what she did was she grabbed ten vitamin C tablets and then broke them down so I'm going to use ten but if it doesn't look like it's really saturated I'm going use more so I wanna grab some tablets put it inside here and then smash it out they look for something to like smash it up with also guys I know you guys see my lips and you guys are like what happened to our lips so I'm recording this during my process of lip fillers if you guys haven't seen that video already go watch it so you guys can see the end result but when you're watching this videos gonna be uploaded and my lip fillers aren't going to be healed by then so we're gonna get started up and I'll be right back a few moments later alright guys I'm back so I did crush everything up as you guys can see now I'm gonna add the heaven Shoulders shampoo into this honestly don't know how many pumps but we're just gonna pump one pump twice and just see how it callicles get ready for right now I mix it sticks I'm not sure if I'm gonna need some more but I like I said before I do like it when when I do something for my hair I like to saturate it so the texture is not really runny but it's not clumpy so I think I'm gonna start so I'm gonna split my hair into going this way a lot of people do it by going like that but I'm gonna go this way I'm gonna do one side on camera and the other side I'm gonna do off of camera just because I think the process is gonna be a little bit long take my glasses off I'm a disaster I'm gonna move the camera like that just so I can see myself in the mirror I have another mirror here so I might pass for this part just so the videos not really long paddle fast forwarding I may just cut it it's gonna use my brush I'm just gonna brush it [Music] guys also disclaimer I didn't say this in the beginning of video I'm not a hair stylist so don't do what I'm doing because it might not work on your hair also because I don't want you to damage your hair because I did it and you want to do it let me let me be that person for you if you want to try this will [Music] alright guys I might touch this up a bit at the end when I'm done this side but that's one side so I'm gonna do this side now but once I'm done I'll come back on the camera just to show you guys how it looks at at that stage when it's all meanwhile okay guys I did something different I added a little bit of development just to see if anything was going to happen and when I was putting it on I felt my hair like burning like actually like like it was hard and I don't know if you guys can see but guys this is steaming and it's like over blowing Wyatt's gonna okay that's hot that's hot I'm not putting that in my head look it's can I see that alright guys so definitely do not do what I just did I thought it's a good idea to add there any developer into that I don't know if he saw the plate or the bowl was smoking and my hair I was like doing it and then my hair was feeling really really hot experienced that before so I got a little confused on why it was so hot um I'm still a little bit more minutes and I'll be right back alright guys so I saturated the entire hair so like I said before don't put developer like do not add it that was that was pretty bad so I thought maybe I shouldn't develop it because I know it helps with bleach so just I'm trying to lighten my hair maybe they should add it in so my dumb ass did that and I don't know if you saw the bowl it was smoking when I was putting my hair up on this side because I added a little bit on this side just to see how it's gonna look and my hair like it was getting high and I was like this is really hot and sometimes when you bleach your hair like burns right but this was like hot like burning hot like it was hitting right here am I sure I was getting home like what is that and then I touched it I was like Brooke like what so um I look in the bowl and then the bowl is like smoking do not put developer that was not a good idea do not do what I just did because that that was not good in my head was burning but I took it for the team hopefully this comes up good so I'll try to come back in an hour when I'm done the process just so you guys can see how it is so yeah I'll see you guys then one hour later alright guys so it's been a little bit over an hour I'm gonna take the bag off just so we can see if there's any lightning okay so it is later so I'm gonna wash it out and I'll show you guys how it looks I'm gonna stay on my hair and do my makeup and then you guys can see how it looks ok guys so as you can tell that I did style my hair so I did let my hair air dry just because I didn't want to use a dryer because I don't want to damage my hair anymore after that whole developer catastrophe so as you can see it did lighten up a good amount it's not like super bright but it's actually the perfect color that I was trying to get so I'm gonna bring the camera closer just so you guys can see [Music] so there are some darker spots and then some spots are a little lighter but I actually really like it the reason I did this again was because I wanted it to match the hair extensions that I did purchase I did take a strat of the hair extensions to see that to see if they matched and it was almost identical to what I have purchased so it is a lot more later in the Sun I'm gonna add some photos I don't know if you can tell that it is a lot more lighter in natural light than it being on my vanity lights so I do feel like the shade does match me a lot better but yeah this is my hair now I hope you guys enjoyed this video it was basically like a successful fail so like I said at the beginning of the video I'm not okay so like I said in the beginning of the video I'm not a hair stylist so do not copy what I did I don't want you guys to mess up your hair so I would just do the vitamin C in the shampoo and hopefully that would work for you
