This was fantastic. So good. It's all about the women and is awesome for it, but there's a little shot of Walmsley towards the end hugging his pacer who got sick earlier in the day really got me. You can just see him trying not to fall apart emotionally as they hug. There's tons of great little moments like that in this thing.
I am half way through this movie. So far, I am loving it.
Just watched this and what a great film. Watching Devon's recovery is really something else. I can't imagine the mental strength it must have taken to stop fixating on the mess up at the first aid station and you can tell how difficult that must have been and then she eventually starts to believe that she can recover and finish. Kaci's race though - have you ever seen someone so happy at every point in a 100 mile race? Incredible stuff.
