CAN I SHOOT 1000 RATED WITH DISCS FROM 1982?!?

paul's paul macbeth's video yet right here check it out um he basically tried a 15-under on his local course which was one of the oldest courses in his area so out of all the places i googled what's the oldest course in massachusetts and it's permit the course i was at last it just happened to be so i'm here pyramids and instead of just me trying to shoot a thousand rated around with this from 1983 this course was made in 1988. it's only five years after these this came out um i was born in 92 by the way i'm here today joined by thousand rated player local superstar going on tour next year all the good things yep we have marky chap in the house you've seen it on the vlog before um good friend and good player and i'm gonna see if i can beat him with his normal bag here at pyramids white and i get to use these three discs so i'm challenging a thousand rated player on the oldest course of massachusetts with the oldest discs i've ever seen all right wish me luck paul was using these two as his drivers and this has this putter they're slightly different colors so i think i'm going for the same strategy i didn't throw these yet i didn't warm up my warm-up was watching paul throw them so i kind of know how they fly i guess and the main thing i'm worried about is that it's so cold there's even snow on the ground which i didn't even realize when i left my house because there's no snow 30 minutes from here and then i'm going to hit a tree and they're going to break in half so i'm going to try to avoid all these trees but here we go first shot no warm-ups needed and i'm going with this wait which one am i going with the one with the nicest looking stamp all right here we go i'm going right there i'm just expecting it to be really flippy oh hey that's not that bad that was not flippy at all i can work with those okay marky has a lot to lose today nothing to gain but he's throwing a trust on hold on not a kitty hawk is this sponsored or not sponsored sponsored oh you're 1040 right around like he did he's got 1500 in his round definitely don't watch the video i'll link it below um but my goal i think around 50 the score 50 on this course is gonna be a thousand rated and his disc is down to the right oh door's wide open for me because i have the perfect hyzer disc it's pretty amazing to think that these used to be drivers also it's very much not straight oh there we go there's the flip i was looking for i threw it with much more power and it flipped right over at the par hard to come back from but no way oh a little low good layup [Applause] all four is the trick oh was that three trios in one shot pinball door is doors wide open for me here i'm not sure if i can reach this but we're playing the creek as casual water all the holes creek is casual water that shot was for james watson jim watson jeff watson jeff watson basket right there morphy going oh sneaky forehand left side come back that's in circle one i i don't even want to say what would happen i make this oh i love the line some rookies actually 9 97 rated and a little 25 footers don't phase in 997 right a guy okay this all i have some hopes of getting a birdie morphe still leading by one and that has straightened out a bit might be in the casual pond great drive for blues okay this is a bit downhill 350. i don't think i can quite reach it but it's going to be i can get within putting distance i think oh that's right on the edge baby might be closer than yours even so the problem with these discs is they have literally no speed they're basically frisbees and they don't hyzer at the end they just go straight or fade to the right not fade to the right i guess you can say fade to the right so yeah four holes in i'm adjusting slowly throwing them pretty much as hard as i can to not lose complete control and marquis still has me by one but uh we're getting to the birdie holes now marky landed in the casual water he's about a 60-footer and can't make it i have about uh what's that 50 footer 50 feet away putting her two getting stroked back left a little short left paul made pudding look so easy with these things i guess he's a bit better putter than me sometimes tapping for another par that was a chance though and welcome to the best ace chance we have on the course i don't birdie this one i don't know what's gonna happen off the tree and in okay you're absolutely parked i need the ace favorite and you did that's so parked oh two feet baby there's my great drive with my regular disc and there's simon he's under par now i'll give you this one all right next hole all right we're on hole seven back up the hill oh no marky that is a three a chance all i gotta do is hit the gap is it oh i couldn't even see that tree hit the second one not the greatest lie for marky it's not a gimme and that's not a gimme either this is not miserable not in the context of the match oh thank god putting with the rim this deep is just so awkward now this is an apple uphill 25 footer that no way not like that he can only laugh two-stroke swing and lazar takes the lead all right this is a 400 almost 400 feet hole so it's a through on hope kind of deal lots of trees to miss please don't break in half a little left made it to the other side though see if you can do better this is really one of the trickiest holes on the course that seems it's too far right that's good right now [Music] so that will determine casual water which means relief behind behind the basket and i need all the all the real gimmicks that i can get no way yes still the lead second one doesn't count all right halfway through hole nine there's a mando you have to go left around that tree and then bend it back to the right so it's made for the kitty hawk basically he's in the putting green oh absolutely pinned it somebody's closed sick simon's got an uphill 25-footer ish those chains they helped me a lot all right two under that's how you want it to look nice didn't put it on the right line i parked some basket down there but it's not the right one okay i'm definitely not really in birdie range so marky can get the stroke back that he needs no way for the park oh good line parked okay so i parked the wrong basket i don't know why this basket was here they must have some event going on but i'm closer than i thought 30 footer maybe [Music] cut this is for macbeth bag on putt for macbeth nice verde morky i'll take a par and it is a tie game through 10 holes so anything can happen down the stretch i need three more birdies or four more birdies i think to shoot a thousand raider round and the holes are not getting easier down the stretch all right welcome to hole 11. good line white bass right up there i'm not sure if i can reach it that's a putt that's pretty much as good as i could have done he's probably going to end up short because it's so far uphill but what am i what do i know oh not even metal this is an important step in my career right here he did it he overcame the pressure can't be phased he can't be fixed this is going to be a challenge um to even get it out of the gap uphill 294 plays like 200 feet longer oh baby go go that's probably the best i've ever thrown this hole even with my real dicks crazy he's pulling out a driver big advantage oh how do you miss that tree not great not terrible easy three so i threw that as straight as i could as hard as i could pretty much i made it like 200 feet up this hill problem turn in there oh i'll take a three here that's good pressure's on i'm under the basket and now you are also under the basket easy enough i'm completely parked right there and we are moving to the hardest hall on the course par four maybe even part five no part four and super tight gap so if i can walk away with a three i would be mind blown and a four would be totally fine but i'm three under so anything's possible all right i saw paul through a roller so in honor of macbeth i'm throwing the flippy one trying to somehow get a cut roller down there which is the dumbest shot since 1983 has ever ever seen oh you know what that is pretty good i didn't quite turn it enough but the line i like it i am not going roller why not i've been throwing my disc oh shout out not available sold out like everything in disc golf oh he's going sneaky line oh back door action didn't work out baskets right there marky decent drive but this is a tough spot god i got creative with it and that was a thousand rated shot at least no way i think i figured this just got now straight death putt let's see if the kitty hawk can handle it slam dunk for the four all right you got a chance to get that one stroke back come on every little bit of 30 feet you've ever seen not he gets another spit out no marky that is so unlucky that was so dead center too i think it's meant to happen i'll take it we got the jets in the background ready for takeoff with the new disc technology this should be fairly simple hyzer play and oh who almost skips it in oh i fluffed the crap out of that dang it marky's not having the luckiest round of his life he ended up right behind this pine tree and it's probably oh just religious circle so we're taking two pars on this one and what hole is this 13 14. so we have a couple holes left and i need three more birdies so my math was wrong i actually only need two more birdies because it's a par 55 i thought it was a part 56 but last time i threw this hole i aced it if you saw the last vlog here we go again kitty hawk baby that's a chance man marquis still won back somehow hit the gap get in that's a tester simon's got about a 25-footer right in the heart i'm just barely squeezing those in too but we're on course all right mark you have about the same putt let's see it let's see if he cannot get a spit out no way simon's checking the warpage i'm just making sure they're not all too warped but marky you're two back now how does it feel not good as somebody once said let's see how it plays out okay here we go 340 yards no it's feet but pretty much i don't think i can reach it but i'll i'll try it's over there fly like a kitty it's as good as i could throw it i think all right mark is choosing a maverick shout out to the logang i'm totally kidding guys don't quote me on that ever please but hey beautiful anhyzer almost as good as mine in the same spot well you might be in the same spot if i make this it seals the thousand right around i think but i'm just dreaming oh why does it come back and a tester that's such a tester too so i don't want to say it but this is kind of your last hope two strokes swing if i make this because simon's not making it i'm making my comebacker for sure beast putt no way oh clutch the clutchness look how happy it is oh just squeaks it in but i missed it but the glide saved me on that one kitty hawk glide alright hole 17 is a bit hard to film but you see the basket through there the gap is like between this house and the big tree and hopefully you don't break a disk he's going with his harp no and no safe doors open i think i'm going with the kitty hawk on this one we'll move right through that gap baby sid we're putting baby marky has at least 120 feet left you believe a miracle this would be a christmas miracle oh good run close it out please welcome to the final hole i am currently at five under which means if i get a three i shoot 50 which i looked on pdga that was about right around a thousand meter round it might be a bit too far it's like 300 feet a bit uphill it might be too far from the other two i'll do my best but here we go last whole marquis we need a miracle for you to win yep i'm not uh sitting at two down i need one more birdie to get a thousand okay that is no trees hit and it is a putt anything short and he flipped it he flipped it oh parked it still kick job two apart i've i don't know why but i'm like nervous right now and i feel like this is the biggest part of my life for like no reason but this part is for 49. come on not low but terrible and a tester no chain outs today i'm gonna take the win marky's absolutely parked right here for the birdie so i got a five down you shot a four yep lost by one lost by one and the only way i could do it was you getting two brutal spit outs so i don't know how good i feel about it but i want a beer we're gonna go grab
