essentially gave back life to Sophia who had been completely tortured for life she's the one that gave us the Ergo in the beginning she gave us life and we basically just returned it to her which is just a lovely way to wrap up the story and uh I guess we saved Kat in a way uh but then that teaser like oh my god dude is the next game going to be Wizard of Oz I don't [ __ ] know that was so good guys I am so happy with that ending I believe that is the best ending um I mean the other one that we had available to give our heart to jetto obviously would have killed us and he would have just brought back Carlo which I mean [ __ ] Carlo let's be real there's no one like P okay that last boss I mean it was so incredibly tough I have no idea how many rounds it took me but obviously you guys will have seen how much I struggle one of the hardest bosses I've ever encountered in a game aside from all the rage it was still so much fun and um I'm so happy with the way we played this game I know a lot of people were saying why aren't you using summons why aren't you using more throwables stuff like that it's just a personal choice if you've seen my other Dark Souls playthroughs I like to make my life harder during these games I find it so satisfying when we do it a certain way and uh guys we did it we actually beat the game without summoning a single Spectre and uh that is something to be proud of okay A lot of people are going to say oh it doesn't even make that big of a difference it does to me on a psychological level let me get my knee out of the frame here you know what it would be nice if we play a little record while I tell you guys my thoughts on this game cuz I have quite a few well guys this game honestly um I didn't know what I was getting myself into obviously we played the demo and I absolutely loved it okay you know what I can't do it with the music guys I'm sorry it'd be nice if I could get my old hotel music back but I mean oh this lady's gone I just thank you so much I love you guys I'm so happy that we experienced this game together the first like new title release series that I've done here on the channel and uh I had a blast with you guys honestly reading all the comments you guys telling me your experience with certain bosses where you're stuck where I'm stuck it's just it was such a an experience that I'm going to remember forever and I am so glad that I gave this game a fair chance we played the demo like 3 or four months ago and I absolutely loved it um but I still felt like you know maybe it was going to lack some personality some style I thought maybe it was going to be a complete just kind of ripoff of like bloodborne and other Souls likes but that really wasn't the case even though of course they have very similar mechanics the way the game plays I mean the developers literally said like we took inspiration from these games so you can't even bash them for that they literally admitted it themselves um and I actually really respect that they did that because you know first entry obviously they're fans from software and and the souls games and uh it shows it shows that this was made by people that appreciate good Souls games um like the original Souls games but putting that that to the side this game still had a very strong identity it had so much personality it had so much craft into it in the sense that the amount of weapons that they had the combat style that they chose the outfits the environments the hotel the dialogues like there is so much good about this game and so much to enjoy if you're open to it I have a [ __ ] hair in my eye dog I personally love this game I've said that so many times throughout this playthrough yes there were some moments where some of the areas were you know not the greatest I personally did not really like the swamp area same with the green monster of the swamp those are probably the two things that I like the least even though I still liked it but you know things are getting a little iffy during those moments I thought the bosses were pretty fair um for the most part obviously there were some that you know took forever like this final one I mean there's a reason why they put him as like a secret ending boss those are usually you know the toughest the combat I loved it so much how it promotes aggressiveness and it just pushes you to like find ways to you know get your health back the pairing system the perfect guards yes sometimes they weren't super accurate especially in the beginning when you're just getting started it was really rough to you know get kind of accustomed to the perfect guard so you don't feel like you're improving but eventually you kind of get used to it and that sense of getting good at a boss kind of comes back another I guess somewhat negative but again these negatives aren't really negatives it's just some of the things that you know I thought could have been done a little bit better maybe the human bosses like the the mini bosses those for the most part took us one two maybe three tries to beat while a lot of them had like cool dialogue and lore you know adding that extra Spike of difficulty would have been kind of cool but at the same time the main bosses are pretty challenging so it was actually kind of nice to encounter like you know some of those human bosses that just take you one two tries and kind of feel like a god but in terms of the music I thought this game had incredible incredible music you guys know I'm a huge fan of that I mean I don't just mean the records I mean the boss fights some of these bosses had anthems like anthems like Archbishop Andreas the king of Puppets laaia like there are so many good scores in this game that really just it makes it such a joy to go round after round after round fighting the same boss um I personally love that in terms of the story I mean the story was it had me hooked from the beginning overall I rank this game this experience like pretty high um I had an absolute blast playing this game from beginning to end very challenging but that is what I like to play I don't like walking simulators I don't really like to just listen to dialogue I want to get in there I want to fight I want to rage I want to laugh with you guys those are kind of My overall thoughts on the game but please please let me know down below
