Let's Talk 110 - Terry Shock

thank you jesus thank you jesus we're so very grateful for the presence of god it is in this sanctuary right now [Music] it feels very safe here feels very safe feels encouraging the spirit of god where the spirit of god is there is liberty there is so so many other things and it is what we must build our lives on i'd like to turn your attention to matthew the 22nd chapter while you're if you're turning in your bibles there let me just say briefly again how wonderful it is to see all of you again pastor thanks so much for the for the invitation and um i've had more invitations to be here but i just have not been able to be here and i i thank god for for this church so many of you that that have just meant so much to to us i should have said this this morning and totally forgot but melanie does say hello she landed from south africa today back home and so she's been there doing some missions work and she wanted me to greet all of you this word that i will share tonight it's a word that has um that god has been just giving me over a matter of months to the church at large to the apostolic church at large and so this is not just in particular to poa this is to the church at large and if there's any disclaimer let me just say that anything i say tonight should not he should not be held responsible for it it would just be me matthew 22 37 through 38 jesus said unto him thou shalt love the lord thy god with all thy heart and with all thy soul with all thy mind this is the first and great commandment i've preached another message recently from that verse here and then romans 12 and 1 i beseech you therefore brethren by the mercies of god that you present your bodies a living sacrifice holy acceptable unto god which is your reasonable service and so i want to share with you along this line tonight let's talk 110. let's talk 110. as in 110 and that's probably the craziest title i have ever had in my ministry so we'll talk about it in just a moment let's close our eyes and ask god to speak to us individually lord jesus we are very thankful that the power of your spirit let the power of your spirit do the work give us personal clear revelation of our lives for the good of your kingdom let it be done in jesus name and you may be seated let's talk 110 110. the word says all of our heart all of our soul all of our mind and the word says present your bodies a living sacrifice and this is a blanket command it's a blanket life command and so let's start with our week i don't know if i don't know if this is teaching i don't know if it's preaching i don't know if this is treaching i don't but it's just presentation is not even on my mind tonight so we're going to talk 110 but we have to start with 168 hours in the week and so i happen to know the schedule around here so you're here from 9 30 to 10 30 every sunday morning i'm sure that everybody is always here at 9 30 to 10 30 on sunday morning and then everybody's here right at 10 30 to 12. you can pick up a few a few minutes there because of altar service that and it's just been my experience that nobody ever left before the altar service so you can even get a little bit more there and then wednesday everybody is here from 7 8 30. and so we've got a little more time there and then this is the church of the 24-hour prayer shift and so everybody takes a three-hour prayer shift every week and so then on top of that i know that everybody gives at least an hour of in particular ministry to something and so now we have just totaled eight hours everybody has eight hours right there well then we have to sleep and now i'm going to give everybody 50 hours of sleep and some of you are saying yes i wish obviously you don't you do not have babies in the house anymore there we just wish we could sleep that long or some of you could be in health situations where you're not sleeping that long but i'm just taking a 50-hour brush and i'm laying it all across and so now we take out the time that we are on this church campus and we take out time that we are sleeping and we're at 110. we're at 110 hours left where we are both awake and away from the local church building so now the thought can easily be well what about work and what about homework and what about keeping the house up and and what about what about what about and so let's talk what about let's talk 110 hours a week and let's consider the local church but but let's let's go beyond now starting with the local church i believe that faithful church attendance is vital i believe that i still believe that i'm not going to fuss at you you're here on sunday night and i've noticed that there are some that were here this morning that they're not here tonight and they could have good reasons that would be between them and god but we see in hebrews the 10th chapter verses 24 and 25 and let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together as the manner of some is but exhorting one another and so much more as you see the day approaching so i see from that that it is biblically considerate to provoke each other to love and good works it's biblically considerate you say well you're getting in my space well it's biblically considerate to provoke people to love into good works and of course uh you know listen let's bring that on people you have a relationship with but if we just started there that would really help the kingdom and we see that the first thing that is mentioned after that is about us assembling ourselves together for worship so i believe that that's very important however i have noticed that we can be faithful to church and not faithful to god i've noticed that i believe that this is easily proven because there are people who are faithful liars they're faithful to church and lying there are faithful gossipers that they're faithful to church and gossip there are faithful abusers they're faithful to church and abusers there's faithful adulterers they're faithful to adultery and church there's faithful fornicators they're faithful to fornication in church there's faithful homosexuals that are faithful to homosexuality and church there's faithful thieves that are faithful to thieving and to church and some have even stolen from the church and so we see that we can be faithful to church and and maybe it's not quite everything now faithfully bringing our bodies to church and leaving our spirits and souls elsewhere is not good it's not good at all and these are made very obvious by those that that they just do not worship and um and i'm not saying that you have to you know jump and run and scream and yell and fall out i'm not saying that but but clapping our hands and singing and raising our hands will not threaten anyone's personality type at all you okay sister mangan i know i know and i went back in my mind because i was thinking about this worship thing and i started thinking about the crazy things i've seen in this sanctuary i mean there are people that think we're nuts for a good reason because if they i remember and i don't know which one of you now have to do the worship busting i used to have to do that i i used to have to have those conversations one guy and i do you don't remember i mean it was a tall guy and and he would run and he would run up about three or four of those steps and jump off does anybody remember this or was that the only one in and he would run all the way across here run up the steps and jump off and then he'd run around well i mean after he had done that once i thought you know look i mean this is not of god this guy is totally out of order so i could see which direction he was going and so i i had him i headed him off right here and he he jumped right there and and then i did a body block on him and he was not impressed whatsoever but it's like goodness you were singing uh sister mickey you were singing uh some song about flying [Applause] years ago okay years ago and so help me i am telling you the truth i am standing over here and a man was sitting in the balcony it was a sunday night and do you did you even see it when you were he was running back and forth across the top craziness i'm not i'm not talking about that just just a couple of more for your for for your you know laughter is good we had the pews when we had pews in here right back there there was a very large man and and he was a stranger here and and what was well i know the correct word would be would be guest he was our guest here he was very strange but but he but he was our guest and and he started jumping and he started jumping in a way that got my attention because i'm like boy he's got a lot moving right right now back there and and he went over the pew backwards well he no no no no no he turned around and went over the pew he went over the pew and his pants almost didn't well now now we've got an issue i mean it's one of those things people are running around here like crazy and and you know but i'm so i'm watching that and i'm thinking and he he's not getting up he is not he's not getting up and so before god this is what i saw i mean it was snake eyes right back i did not know what in the in the world was was going on and i was like this is this is just totally totally crazy you got to remember the lady that cartwheeled across the front you've got to remember that that was that was when worship and modesty went to war and worship one is this the best i've ever preached i wish you'd have told me that a long time ago because this is a whole lot easier than that other and then and then and i'm going to move on but i'm just talking about i'm just talking about worship here and then why do people when nobody is moving down here why do people think the spirit is telling them to come right here and do crazy things like go over there i don't i don't know i i don't yeah get out of the camera i don't know how many you know and i was like here we go again another one i got to talk to and so i'd pull them over the side and i had one i had one individual he just kept coming here he just kept coming here and so i was i tried to be nice and i really because i am capable of trying to be nice and so i was i was trying to be nice and i talked with him well the spirit just kept leading him to do that you you know just some spirit speaks to people you you can only feel my spirit if you come in the middle and distract the entire service i don't i don't know how why that happens and so i work in the gifts of the spirit and so it was time for me to interpret what the spirit was saying to him and and so i just came over i said look brother i am not trying to mess up your worship i got to hurry i'm getting too strung out so so i said i'm not trying to distract your worship but look when you feel the spirit of god you come down and you go to that side or you go to this side it's not a problem but you don't go in the middle if everybody else is flowing if there's a flow to the front then yes because you are distracting from the uh pulpit and he looked at me and he said god told me to go there and i looked at him and i said god probably needed to keep saying you needed to go somewhere else and so he did and and that was just fine because there's just some things that you just can't allow to just take over everything and i'm not but i'm not talking i'm not just i'm not talking about that because i'm just saying that we need to bring our spirits our bodies our souls everything in and we all have different personalities you know i've never moved like him and the forecast is i won't uh i would probably need surgery if i if i tried to move like you uh well um tell us tell us something that we don't know all right tell us something we don't know we know you're good it's it's not it's not about doing crazy worship church but singing and lifting our hands and clapping our hands and getting into the flow of the spirit will not threaten your personality type we've got to bring it we got to bring it in and then and then there are people and i heard a great name for it you'll probably like this a pastor was referring to people that would come to church but would never come in the sanctuary and so he's calling them lobby lizards lobby lizards that's a great name for it it's it's people that yes i'm faithful to church no no they're not faithful to church they're faithful to the lobby i now realize that faithful church attendance can unconsciously become a god bribe like tithing because that is where we think that if we pay 10 then god owes us that back plus and that then we can do whatever we want to do with the other 90 percent and so in like manner some seem to think that if they're faithful to service on sunday that they can do whatever they want with the rest of their lives and faithful to church on sunday is good but it's not good enough and god help the people who could come but they just choose not to i personally believe that celebrating faithful church attendance alone spiritually is like celebrating being potty trained naturally it's a great start but a long way from maturity and effectiveness therefore i personally conclude that being faithful to church is yes a great start but it's far from enough and again i say we can be faithful to church and not faithful to god we know that that satan cannot overpower us if that were the case none of us would be here tonight but he can only bluff us or deceive us and let me give you three common successful demonic deceptions that i believe that are very much alive in the church the apostolic church today number one thinking we go to church instead of we are the church because what what can happen is is the local church can literally become just one big excuse just one big excuse the second deception that i believe is is rampant in the apostolic church is judging our walk with god by our attendance or involvement in services and events i strongly believe in ministry involvement i have often said from this pulpit that everybody should be involved in at least one ministry of the church and i've not changed my thinking on that i personally believe that there are three vital things that we need to know about ourselves and that is when we were born again how god wired us what our gifting is and where are we involved but judging our walk with god by local church connection and involvement is a trap and the third thing is is i believe it is deceptive to think that a church is a success because the building is comfortably full there are many very active very full churches that are far from being a biblical success because biblical success is hearing and doing the will of god success is not numbers at the same time as we are a success in the eyes of god there will be more people affected let me ask this question do we really think that end time worldwide revival will be able to be contained in church buildings do we believe that let's make it personal do we think god's intention for sin law could be held in this sanctuary do we really think that god's plan to save the lost is confined to altar calls at restricted times do we really believe that end time revival is going to be handled in church buildings do we believe that that everyone that god intends to be saved to be born again that it's going to happen on sunday morning between 10 30 and 12 12 15 12 30 maybe a wednesday night maybe a sunday night so i say this consider thinking that that local church worship services and teaching sessions and events are extra consider thinking that it's a part but but it's a small part and it's a good start but the truth is our entire lives are to be about kingdom ministry so that's the reason why i'm saying let's talk 110. it's the other 110 hours a week proverbs 15 and 3 the eyes of the lord are in every place beholding the evil and the good and so the eyes of the lord are in every place beholding the evil and the good inside the church doors and inside all other doors so we have in in our life we have an under shepherd it it is the pastor and he pretty much knows our church attendance and our worship participation and our ministry participation uh whatever he might see about us or whatever is brought to his attention by eyewitnesses or by hearsay or by social media informers however the chief shepherd knows it all he knows the good he knows the bad he knows the ugly he he seizes in real time he needs no informers the chief shepherd needs no informers our pastor's opinion definitely matters but he's not all present and he's not all-knowing and he's not all powerful but the chief shepherd is all present he is all-knowing he is all-powerful and so that is why i say that we serve the god of all therefore he expects all let's go back to matthew 22 36 master which is the great commandment in the law jesus said unto him thou shalt love the lord thy god with all thy heart with all thy soul with all thy mind all all and then ii corinthians 10 and 5 tells us casting down imaginations and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of god and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of christ so it's every thought it's every word it's every deed first corinthians 6 19 and 20 says what know ye not that your body is the temple of the holy ghost which is in you which ye have of god and ye are not your own you're not your own for ye are bought with a price therefore glorify god in your body and in your spirit which are god's not my own there are no men's rights there are no women's rights there's only god rights because he owns it all he owns it all you don't evict owners and he owns it all so romans 12 and 1 again i beseech you therefore brethren by the mercies of god that that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice holy acceptable unto god which is your reasonable service and so we see that our lives are literally about glorifying god 24 7. we glorify god by ministering and serving people to jesus we minister wherever we are knowing that our natural lives are nothing more than a dress rehearsal for eternity but unfortunately many judge their success in this dress rehearsal by local church attendance or another human and both are terrible mistakes with eternal consequences it's not just attending church we are the church we we are to live for the king and kingdom expansion judging our judging our lives by this much of our time during the week of of here uh this much as opposed to this much when we're everywhere else judging our life by this instead of this and this is the reason why that that people will walk away from our homegoing service someday and either say amen or that preacher just didn't really know the truth so let's talk 110. let's get serious about 110. first peter 1 15 but as he which hath called you is holy so be ye holy in all manner of conversation and conversation means behavior in all manner of behavior so that's church behavior and that's home behavior and that spouse behavior and that's parent behavior and that's children behavior and that's neighborhood behavior and that's work behavior and that's school behavior and that's vacation behavior and that's recreation behavior and it's hobby behavior and it's me time behavior and it's best friend time behavior it's hunting camp behavior it's fishing camp behavior it's guys night behavior it's girls night behavior it's slumber party behavior it's 13th birthday party behavior it's 16th birthday party behavior it's even 18th birthday party behavior and 21st birthday party behavior it's company holiday party behavior it's personal shower behavior it's bachelor party behavior it's wedding rehearsal behavior it's wedding behavior it's wedding reception behavior it's anniversary behavior and any other behavior i miss he just simply says be holy in all manner of behavior in all manner of behavior and that's why this little talk is called let's talk 110. too many are only focused on the level one battle of good versus evil but the next level is good versus best it's our will versus his will and we are to be about the king's business not just attend a weekly kingdom meeting the king's business is the kingdom the kingdom is the domain of the king the kingdom is within us we take it wherever we go we are to do his bidding he is the head and we are the body and the body does not operate on its own the body does not make up its mind the head the king decides and we must abide it's the kingdom building life our our king it's it's that life that he intends for us to live it's it's not bound to a local church i thank god for the local church i thank god for p.o.a i hear a lot about my p.o.a why don't we focus a little bit on my before we get to p.o.a it's it's my it's me it's it's not bound to this local church and what i am seeing happen all over the place where i am traveling literally all over the world i am seeing an enormous amount of effort go in to the few short hours that people are together in a local church building the people in this church who are consistently ministering to those who are in need of food and water and friendship and clothing and encouragement due to being sick or in prison as matthew 25 commands they're not giving the rest of us a pass it doesn't work like that god is not going to say to us in that day you don't have to give an account for that because the poa never organized the ministry for that uh you don't you don't have to give an account on matthew 25 except during december that that's it that's that's it now if you miss december you're in trouble but no that's that's not the way i i'm not here to to put guilt on anybody i'm i'm just here to share to share a revelation that that i believe that god has has clearly clearly given me it's it's it's not going to be excused we will not be excused because the church didn't organize a ministry we will not be excused matthew 25 you know when it whenever he said you're a sheep or a goat don't confuse that with a goat the greatest of all times we're not talking about that we're not talking about the greatest of all times goat we're talking about the depart from me goat there is a major difference and it's as clear as it can be and then when you add in james 1 27 that pure religion and undefiled before god and the father is this to visit the fatherless and the widows and their affliction and to keep himself unspotted from the world i don't i don't have time to get into that but but you can't just say i'm a female i'm a widow i'm 60 years old and so come on church take care of me no no you you had better i'll tell you a great study for women right now would be studying the kind of a woman that the church said if you are a widow at age 60 this is you will be able to be helped by the church and start planning now young ladies living that kind of a life because that's quite a life but we look at these two scripture mandates and their incredible revelation for activation because as you've heard me say many times it's the felt need that's the gateway to the real need i am just coming to tell you that i i personally believe that we are complicating tremendous revival i personally believe that we're making this too hard i'm just telling you what i feel it's so interesting that that what the scripture clearly says and we've done a good job i've i was in a lot of planning meetings for a lot of years and we did a good job with the m25 and it's still going on i'm sure and all of that and i mean we i mean we tried to dress it up uh we tried to make it just you know that one time of year whatever but it's so interesting to me that god designed this to where it does not matter if you are poor or rich you can answer it you can answer it it's not a poor rich thing oh if i had their money if i hadn't no no no it's not about that it's what are we doing with what we have well but they have not organized it and i can just see god saying oh okay yeah you're excused because that church you went to uh they they didn't organize that ministry so okay let's forget no that's that's not the way it's going to be and so what's happening is is we are putting so much extra focus on the local church and the local church is becoming one big excuse one big excuse the power of the kingdom is manifest through salvation deliverance and healing luke 17 21 says neither say they neither shout they say lo here or lo there for behold the kingdom of god is within you and so i believe it's time to add a new gauge to the dashboard of our life and it's the 110 kingdom activation gage it's the kingdom at home the kingdom at home jesus washed their feet i've preached about this several times whose feet did he wash the people he lived with who did he serve the people that were the closest to him and then there's the kingdom at work see if we understand this we understand that jobs are much more than money it's much more than than money because yes it's it's to provide and and yes god set this up to where there is fulfillment that comes through work and you know work jobs absolutely but it's not just about money it's about potential kingdom connections and jobs provide the opportunity to be salt and light i ask you please even if it's more money be sure that you pray before you just change jobs based on money because there could be seeds that have been sown and god's not through with you yet there because it's more about the people on our jobs than it is the money a better offer could be a kingdom blessing and it could be a demonic trip but god will lead us if we will be led by the spirit there's the kingdom at school and our our uh young people that that are going to school it you know it's we're not trying to to get you to be some freak at school but you should be sensitive you should be sensitive and what what could god do with us if we literally lived our 110 tuned in to him and if you see somebody i mean my goodness at school with what with what students are going through now we and it worked i mean there are needs everywhere everywhere there are needs everywhere just just everywhere if we would just pray i love what what bishop always prayed what lead me to every honest hearted prayer lead me to an honest heart lead me to an honest heart what it would release in our lives if we would just realize it's not 2817 it's my life the kingdom at school and the kingdom about the city the kingdom goes to walmart the kingdom goes to the post office the kingdom goes and services the car and the kingdom goes to loaves and the kingdom goes shopping and the kingdom goes to a restaurant and the kingdom may go through a drive-through and the kingdom may go golfing and the kingdom may go fishing because you can fish four fish and men at the same time the kingdom goes exercising the kingdom goes it just goes i was uh the other morning i was at home and i was praying about something and and the spirit of god told me to go see a businessman in the city that i that i knew of that i've met and so and he he attends the the local church there and so i went and so i was sitting here talking to him and it was the first time i had gone to his business he owns a car a car lot and uh and so we were talking and he and he's he he look he looked at me and he said he said terry he said um we had we had just had an activity at the church it was a men's thing i was gone and wouldn't have done good anyway because they all brought their guns and were shooting guns or whatever you know do i look like a good shot with a gun well i'm not and so but they all went and they did that and so mike and so mike told me he said you know that's good he said that that's good he said but what we really need to be doing is we need to be submitting ourselves to god and and you know letting god's power work through us and all and i said i said you know what you're right i said mike you're right i said but but can i add something to that he said yes i said what i think we need is if there's a men's event where it's bringing your guns then you need to take your gun and you need to realize you're going to that men's event with your gun but it's not about your gun go to the she's for christ or whatever golf tournament but it's not just about golf i said mike what you got to understand is is yes there's men like you that you're right there you're ready you're ready for the long prayer meeting you're ready to submit yourself you're ready to take on the devil you're ready mike i said but there are some other men that are in this church that they're not there yet but you and your gun would be insensitive to shooting at those targets or whatever you're doing and going in amongst them with your spiritual antenna up may allow you to connect with somebody and lead them that direction i i totally understand that that that people like larry clark at one time in his life was odd on recreation and he hung it all up and there will be thousands of people in heaven because he heard that and that was that was the call of god on his life stop it all and and do this god may put that call on many people's lives but at least we could start right now with with going about our life right now this is not a message of okay change your life flip your life upside down turn it turn it all no no no i'm not about they can handle all of that if something needs to be adjusted what i'm preaching to you tonight and i'm just about through is this don't change any of your schedule tomorrow just be sensitive just realize tomorrow when you wake up it's not about you and when the kingdom when you show up at work the kingdom is supposed to be walking in the door the kingdom you say well that that sounds arrogant well let me challenge you to start judging things now the way i have started judging things i'm blessed to get to minister in a lot of places i'm got a lot of that going on but i am now not even judging my walk with god by anything that happens inside a church i'm not even i am not even judging it by by that now i'm judging it by if if in the atonement was salvation and deliverance and healing if the kingdom is about salvation deliverance and healing and so now how i'm just i'm just telling you how i'm looking at my own life now by the end of the day i think back did you have a kingdom impact at all did you move somebody one step toward salvation or toward deliverance or healing was there a prayer that you prayed off of a local church grounds it's church grounds doesn't count understand what i'm saying we need to be faithful you need to be here we need to be in classes i've got i've got all of that hear what i'm saying but just start moving the gauges move the gauges and start thinking now away from 2817 rapids what have i done to engage in kingdom advancement kingdom advancement i'm not saying that i'm not saying that unless you pray somebody through at work and unless you cast out a devil and unless you healed you you pray a prayer of faith and somebody is obvious that then you've done nothing for the kingdom that is not what i'm saying there are so many steps that will lead to that but my question is this what are we intentionally doing to set that up ryan i don't i don't even know now if you're if you're still doing the imap or whatever i don't know if that's just some you know but but he came out with that and that's that's the kind of a thing that i'm talking about i'm i'm sure i've told this story before and i'll i'll tell it again i'll try to hurry up here but i remember with my dad what a what an incredible discipler reaching people whatever it's called now i mean dad was and i remember us driving down the road and us passing was on towson avenue mickey towson avenue and there was a piggly wiggly store uh that's like a kroger if if you're not aware of that and we're going down the road and he slows down on towson avenue i'll never forget it and he he said i don't know if her car is there yes it is we pull in we walk in piggly wiggly and my dad looks to see what lane debbie was checking out at and he found where she was checking out and he said let's go this way and we literally walked in to that to that lane and he reaches over and gets some gum lit just a package of gum and takes it to check he goes debbie how are you doing today and said well jack good it's good to see you he said i just needed some gum and we got the gum left and i said what was that about dad he said it's been a while since she's seen me and she needed to see me because that was the soul that he was working on and he would just he would literally and and he taught her a bible study and she was born again it but it was in a process of okay you yes god has god has has laid you on my heart and he didn't go in there hey uh you know church six o'clock you know and there's no no problem with that but there's some people's not going to respond to that it's going to take a couple of other steps before that step there there are some people that you just walk up to them and and they've got that personality and whatever and you can talk to them and it'll be hey you know where you're going to spend eternity if you die tonight oh my i haven't even thought about eternity okay that's not everybody that's just not everybody and so at some point we're going to have to tune our radar in and be wise as serpents and harmless as doves but know that we have positioned ourself and we have spoken little words intentional words because we know they needed they need to be headed to the kingdom and the kingdom is within us the kingdom is within us it was said of david he served his own generation by the will of god and fell on sleep and that's what you preached at my father's funeral and then it was said of jesus it was said by jesus i came not to be ministered to but to minister and to give my life so i come to the end of my thought tonight and it's this please don't let poa become one big excuse in your life don't let it become one big excuse allow the kingdom to flow out of your life let it let it let it flow it's not about going and trying to be a big deal it's not about going and trying to command attention it's not it's not about doing that it's about going about our day saying god lead me to speak it may be a word it may lead into a paragraph it may lead into a lunch we can't force these things we can plant and we can water it's up to god to give the increase we can't bust the doors down we're not what what we do control is planting and watering the smokes are here and just great missionaries their story is absolutely incredible but there there are places in the world there are places that they have that they have ministered in and it's not nearly about all the same it's it's like it's like totally different but but god's given them the wisdom of knowing okay here we need to operate like this and here we need to do this and with this person it's like that and with this person it's like that what what is it do you know that how god leads them on their field god will lead us we are making this too hard we're making it too hard we are thinking we have to do it god is not asking us to do it on our own god is asking us to work with him and so it's doing why don't you just why don't this week we just go about trying to do good just good we're just just good just whatever we can do that's good let's just do good and let's let god use us because when we walk in somewhere the kingdom just walked in the kingdom just walked in and we need to believe that we need to believe that it's not it's not about us being a big deal it's about us being a god deal as we stand together right now i truly believe from the bottom of my heart that talking about 110 is a word from god and this is what i'm going to give us an opportunity to pray but whenever i say this i mean it from my heart this is not about condemnation what i'm talking about right now is you should be doing more you ought to be i'm not i'm not doing any of that i've done that in the past here i understand that and you know who who knows what will be said in the future but tonight this is not about you should you ought to this is about just saying can we position ourself and can we with our personality and with our connections now the connections we have now not changing one other thing about our schedule tomorrow unless god speaks to us to change something but we're just going to get up and we're going to position ourself with god and we're going to go to our job and even if you hate it [Music] think about the people think about the people think about those people and i can tell you this i can tell you this when we start in these conversations because i'm having more of these conversations now with strangers than i have ever had in my life and and i i still get nervous on the first part i still do i i just do because you don't know where it's going and it's just you know you say well you know terry no not you you don't yes yes i i get a little nervous with it but i am amazed that that man that man that i was with on the airplane that a long long story used to be a surgeon was injured and now he became an attorney and he's going after doctors i mean i mean he was like man he was he's something else the guy was absolutely brilliant and he's and he's from israel and he and see when he realized that you know what i'd do and all he he thought okay we going to go after he so he goes after me is what he does because he wanted to just take care of me on that plane is really what it was in a nice way but i wasn't fooled by his smile because his his i can read that one crazy so he says reverend he starts into this reverend say there is no bible say there is no and he lays out this whole thing and i look and he when it was my time and uh i looked at him i said did you say that so think there's no bible and there's no god he said yes what if that i said there's no reason to even talk there's no reason to even talk i said what does it matter what i say if there's no word of god what is what does it matter and so he just kind of looked at me like i was i had fallen out of another planet and and i kind of looked at him like he had and we were nice to each other the rest of the way [Music] you win some you lose something but i was in there trying the kingdom the king they're going to be situations that's going to happen on your job and you're going to have to you're really going to have to be watching because you're going to miss it if you look at face value many times the issue's not the issue and we say that when we're dealing with people but in kingdom work we have to understand that there may be people brought into our world and it's a disguised situation we have to be kingdom people that can look beyond that if you want if if you want to be if you want to be someone that continues this part and be effective in the local church but you want to start widening things and you want to start seeing some incredible kingdom things happen in the 110. there are many people in here you've been elevated to levels of influence don't waste it don't waste it
