youth ministry secretary he's doing an incredible job jeremy why don't you tell them a little bit more about what they can expect for the next 30 minutes man we've got some cool new videos coming at you all never seen before we are going to be showing you videos for ayc bible quizzing hyphen cmi what else do we got p7 missionary dan scott has been given offering appeal for move the mission this incredible ministry that funds missions all over the world you're going to hear that in a few moments as well as a new move the mission hype video it's super cool uh they did an incredible job a little bit more about ayc ayc i don't know if you have been on a trip this this season this year we have had an incredible time ayc has been phenomenal i know i got to do a tag in on the milwaukee trip those students got to be a part of a crusade that had eleven hundred receive the holy ghost over eleven hundred more than that what an incredible time for the josh herring was there he preached he gave the word incredible holy ghost filled awesome service and i know we've had other experiences along the way other students receiving the holy ghost on these trips other people receiving the holy ghost and the services it's been a great phenomenal season and so we've got some more trips coming up next year we want you to watch this video and get excited about next year everyone comment the world in the bible we see as a teenager david was anointed king we see joseph was given prophetic dreams yes as a teenager and to this day teenagers are still making a lasting impact on the world creating and innovating but in spite of that fact culture puts low expectations on students age 13 to 18. when you google the words teens and some suggestions are teens and depression vaping drugs alcohol anxiety while those words certainly affect teenagers they're not words that are associated with high expectations when project seven bible clubs was launched teenagers decided it was time to unlock their faith teenagers began teaching bible studies the results students family members teachers coming into relationship with jesus when you decide to unlock your faith in your middle school and your high school real lives are changed it's time to reset the cultural norm it's time to dream bigger dreams why because we believe that teenagers can change the world one school at a time man and some people don't think that's what it is yeah not anymore regardless it doesn't matter because cheese for christ is gone and move the mission oh it's moved the mission it's moved the mission which we're so excited about the reason this change happened is because now we can be more inclusive it now can be translated to french and spanish and for people that didn't grow up in the church and hear the word she's for christ their whole life they actually can understand what this is all about this fundraising arm of upci youth ministries funds missions and ministries all around the world children find hope at tupelo children's mansion global missionaries get vehicles north american missionaries get grants this ministry helps so many different people we are so thankful for all of our allocation partners definitely below children's ministry lighthouse ranch for boys all of them new beginnings global missions north american missions they do an incredible job in their respective fields and we want to support them we want to help give to move the mission everyone type move the mission and check out this next video matthew 28 19 is our rally cry the whole gospel to the whole world a worthy mission yet once so grand that it would take an entire movement to fulfill for 68 years this fundraising ministry has carried the mission forward to bring the word of god to every nation young people have connected to this mission [Music] and as a result missionaries and ministries are connected with the resources they need jesus for christ 68 years of focused effort has moved this mission forward the foundation has been laid the mantle is waiting one question remains will you move the mission it's got to somehow get down into the emotions of your mind it's got to reach your heart until it will cause you to weep for the souls of men and then i'd like to say to you tonight that we have the word of god on which we can stand [Music] to move this world you need to get your mind on the things that god wants us to have and that's to be renewed so that we can have a worldwide vision and realize the purpose of our existing is to get the whole gospel to the whole world to preach the word i am not ashamed of the gospel of christ i will cross any river i will climb any mountain i will pay any price i will bury any burden give me the hard road who will go [Music] man mission we're going to have this video from missionary dan scott giving an offering appeal to move the mission brother scott was the first missionary to ecuador and he saw thousands receive the gift of the holy ghost and get baptized in the name of the lord jesus christ churches dozens and dozens of churches were started under his ministry there in ecuador this is a man of prayer and he loves move the mission i know that he gives sacrificially to it each and every year and so why don't we check out this video to learn a little bit more about move the mission i remember when i was just a young man and pastoring a wonderful church in charleston west virginia i heard the voice of god in an audible manner saying to me son i'm going to take you out of the church that you love so well and i'm going to send you to ecuador south america as a missionary i had no idea of the future that god was providing me one of the things that gives a great security for missionaries was the tremendous jesuit christ program it provided the wheels of transportation for the gospel she's for christ which has now moved the mission was that something of security that missionaries held to when i went to ecuador south america brother kenny promised me that he would provide me with the wheels with the automobile that i needed to do the work that needed to be done it was a four-wheel drive automobile that could take me to inaccessible areas in which we were able to preach the gospel and to baptize lost humanity to god it's time that we ascend to even a greater effectiveness we can do that if we carry the burden of funding the programs that are so effective to reach the world with the gospel that we hold so dear i'm asking that you would give and help us to ascend to greatness through the giving to move the mission [Music] well thank you so much brother dan scott i am excited to give to move the mission this year brother jeremy what's the most impactful thing that move the mission supports what gets you the most i think it's our global missionaries how we give to our towards our missionaries and how they make sacrifices that we don't have to make here in the united states they sacrifice being away from their family they sacrifice going out to a new place somewhere maybe they're not even familiar with to go and reach people in that area and so i'm thankful for them and i'm together in prayer and be prepared for this service service starts now so so so the world around us seeks to keep us grounded our enemy desires to push us down below where we were ever meant to live he prefers that we live lower than our calling even though our creator has destined us to go higher god has called us to ascend don't stay in that mire of mediocrity but rise to a place of extraordinary power and purpose now is the time to ascend cast off fear and intimidation and rise to fulfill the commission that god has called you to complete young people of the united pentecostal church this is your day this is your moment oh you hear the voices that tempt you to settle do you look around at others who are hiding camouflaged in their comfort but you sense a higher calling and rather than causing fear the taunts of your enemy have sparked boldness and ignited your faith because you know you were destined for something crater so ascend let uninhibited worship carry you to spiritual heights you've never known before a sin let prayer propel you into the very throne room of god a sin boldly take the gospel into all the world beginning in your own school in your own college campus and your own city ascend get up from that low place that you were never meant to occupy and climb the cliff scale the rocks press onward and upward no matter the obstacles before you this is the day this is the hour this is your moment a sin come on and clap your hands like this [Music] we bless your name father we give you the glory and the honor [Music] who knew no sin that we might become his righteousness his body was broken for our transgressions but i'm so glad that's not where the story ends the land that was raining the day rose in victory [Music] hallelujah [Music] spirit of god to break out i wonder if you can stretch your hands throw your head back and say god pour out my life pour out of my family pour out of my situation i need your spirit to break out come just like it did on the day of pentecost hallelujah hallelujah hallelujah amen and we still feel that fire surging through our spirits and through our lives in the year 2021 i want to welcome you all to north american youth congress online though we may be scattered in various places tonight i want you to know that we're all united around one purpose and one cause and that is to see the power of god fall in our midst [Applause] and while this is not how we originally envisioned north american youth congress to transpire without a doubt i believe the lord is going to use this service and god is going to use the youth groups and the young people that have gathered and god is going to plant a seed of multiplication inside of you and we're going to see the greatest outpouring of the holy ghost that we have ever seen before [Applause] we're living we're living in the greatest hour of the church the young people god is calling you to the forefront he needs what you have he's called you to the kingdom for such a time as this tonight it's my privilege to preach to the most powerful anointed and capable generation that has ever lived and i've come to declare to you that this is your moment no we've heard it preach for a long time but it's true this is your moment this is your time and this is your day and now now i can't hear you but i wonder if you'd hear me and say now is the time to press somebody say press now is the time to press into the promises of god it was on august 14 1935 the president franklin d roosevelt established what is known as the social security administration later in 1980 it was the same administration that was commissioned to also conduct the job of maintaining what is known as the death master file this master file serves as the database that records the death of every united states citizen who has a social security number and while this recording system is effective it is not without error because it's been discovered along the way that each year around 12 000 individuals are mistakenly declared dead by our social security administration this mistake young people often happens because someone will enter the wrong single digit of a social security number into the system and as a result over twelve thousand living people mistakenly they're counted as dead each year death by a typo and sadly this means that for some people bank loans driver's license state benefits compensations and payments that are rightfully theirs they no longer have access to any of these items because of the mistake of others people who are alive and well people with hopes and dreams people with promises of a future are erroneously declared and counted as dead and while the residual effect of a global pandemic just lingers on and on and while negativity abounds around us and fear is the common thread that runs through the society and the world that we live in society has looked at you teenagers and young adults and they begin to place low expectations on you they've lowered the bar significantly on what they expect you to do the average teenager a young adult around us they tell you that you have a dismal future ahead of you as a matter of fact if you do a little reading you'll find that generation z themself when they interview them generation z is reportedly unoptimistic about the future and what lies ahead of them and there are some who would look at this generation and say that you have reached the end and that there is no more hope for you and there is no more future for you some would say that religion is dead and religion is no longer effective they say that average christianity is on a decline faith is dead and divine operation from god is something of the past some would go as far as to say that there is no more revival to be had and there is no more evangelism to be seen in the world that you as a generation the millennials and generation z they're telling you that you are dead but it is against this backdrop and in this context that i stand here and declare to you the word of the lord on this night and i've come to tell you that there is still life and there is still a future for this generation for this generation of apostolic young people i've come to tell you that your greatest days are not behind you but they are right in front of you i don't care what the average opinion tells you tonight young people god has greater things in store for you god's not done with you you have life in your lungs tonight and therefore there is a hope and a promise for your future hear the word of the lord tonight that god is for you and if god is for you there is no one and there is nothing that can stand against you oh if you believe that tonight i wonder if you can put your hands together and let your place thunder with confirmation of the word of the lord hallelujah let it be done let it be done i've come to remind you that the promises of god are resting on you and that they are in you tonight so just as the prophet joel took up his pen many years ago to write to you i speak to you tonight sons and daughters of the church you will prophesy you young people of this movement you will see visions it is you who will lay hands on the sick and see them recover it is you who will go and make disciples and it is you who will be witnesses for jesus and to the uttermost parts of the it's you there's not another generation coming it is you and the promises are on you and they are in you and all you need to do is press press press into the promises in the face of an enemy that has been speaking very loudly in your ears over the past year or so telling you you can't i've come to tell you by the word of the lord you can you do have power over devils you can operate in the gifts of the spirit you do have what it takes to reach your family your city your school and your neighborhood you do have what it takes and just as the apostle paul paul charged us in philippians 3 14 when he told us press towards the mark of the high calling of god i've just come to tell you that your greatest days of revival your greatest harvest is just in front of you and all we need do is press into the promises while we are pressing forward to see the biblical and prophetic declarations come to pass and while we're obtaining all all that god has guaranteed us young people i must caution us that we cannot make the mistake listen to me we cannot make the mistake of replacing the promises of god for the provision of god because provision is not the same thing as promise hear me out tonight god had rescued israel out of their egyptian bondage he brought them through the desert to the promised land he parted the red sea he turned bitter water sweet he gave them manna and quail from heaven and he led them all the way to the front door of their promised land and the whole point of god rescuing israel out of their egyptian bondage was for israel to live in the promises of god but you know the story they rejected the promised land they chose to wander in the wilderness for 40 years and then rather pressing into the promise they settle for the convenience of provision get this now while they were in the wilderness wondering god took care of them and god provided for them nehemiah 9 21 tells us that the lord ensured that they had food to eat and he even made sure their clothes did not wear out somebody say amen to that and while they were trapped in their cycle of wanderings exodus 16 31 says that they ate something called manna they ate manna get this which tasted like honey notice that they were living and surviving on provision that tasted like honey but it wasn't honey they lived on the provisions that had the flavor of promise but meanwhile there was a land flowing with milk and honey just waiting on them i've come to tell a young person tonight that it's not enough to be satisfied with something that is like apostolic revival or like apostolic doctrine or like apostolic operation but god has called you to live in those things god has called you to press into those things i find it sad that one generation went through their cycle aren't you tired of the cycle they went through their cycle without reaching their full potential oh they had clothing identity they had food they had fellowship but the sad thing is that some of them died only knowing the provision of god and missing the promises of god so that's why in john 6 49 young people jesus told us he gave us a stark warning when he said your fathers did eat manna in the wilderness but they are dead in other words he was telling us it's entirely possible to live with a belly full of provision and yet die outside of the promises of god at some point in our journey young people hear me out tonight at some point in our journey god will bring us to the crossroads where we have to decide what will sustain us will it be the flesh or will it be walking in the spirit will we rely on manna or will we reap the harvest that god has prophesied to this church will we live by provision or will we live in the promises of god [Applause] young person i'm thankful i'm thankful that you're part of a great youth group but let me ask you what have you done to contribute to your youth group's greatness he's given you the truth young lady but let me ask you who have you shared that truth with lately young man he's given you the talent and the ability he's blessed you beyond measure but will you surrender that to god oh you desire greater anointing and i'm glad but are you willing to pay the price for the deeper anointing the call for tonight is this don't just settle for good enough don't just settle for provision but i implore you tonight go all the way in god just see what god can and god will do with a generation who has sold out and who are pressing into their promises but i believe i'm speaking to a movement of young people you've made up your mind that status quo mediocrity and maintenance mentality will no longer suffice but you want all that god has for you i feel in my spirit that there's a surrender that's happening right now in this generation that says be it unto me according to your word if it's in the word then i want it and so tonight we reach for we press for and we pursue the promises of god he was the one of whom the double portion was to rest upon elisha had been promised a multiplication of the prophet elijah's ministry he was to follow in the footsteps of the generation before him yet go further than the previous generation had gone some believe that since elijah had performed seven notable miracles then surely this could mean that elisha might have 14 notable miracles this could mean that god was going to give elisha greater blessings and manifestations than what elijah had seen more miracles more signs more wonders but before the fulfillment of god's promises could come to pass elisha died and second kings chapter 14 tells us that all that was left of elisha at this point were his bones doubters and naysayers would say that if god was ever going to grant elisha the double portion it would have happened while he was still alive surely if all the things that god had told elisha were going to come to pass surely it would have happened before he died surely it would have happened by now surely by the year 2021 we would have seen the prophecies of god come to pass but you see although elisha had been dead for a long time god had made a promise to elisha and therefore there was still a promise to be cleaned there was no power in the bones of elisha but there was power in the promise that had been declared to the young man elisha for second kings 13 21 says that as a dead man is being buried by his friends and family he suddenly comes in contact with the bones of promise the bones if you would of elisha and when that happened scripture says that the dead man was revived and brought back to life notice that when the need of a dead man came in contact with the promise of god that had been given to elisha the miraculous suddenly happened that's because the promise of god only needs to come in contact with a need in order for there to be an activation of the promise so here it is i've just come to tell you tonight young people that you have the promises of god resting on you and yes they are in you and all you have to do is come in contact with the needs around you and you will see the manifestations of the power of god right before your very eyes i feel right now in my spirit that there's going to be needs mentioned in the watch party or maybe around someone around you is going to mention a need tonight in the service where you're streaming this from but i believe by the power of god that you young people you have a promise on you and we're not going to have to wait for the preacher we're not going to have to wait for the pastor and we are submitted to our spiritual authority but god is going to use you on this night to lay hands on the sick he's going to use you to lay hands on the sick and see them recover he's going to use you to cast out devils he's going to use you because the promise is on you and all you need to do as a generation is to let the promise come in contact with a need and the miraculous will happen i'm excited to share with you in closing tonight that the fulfillment of promises are happening all around us young people and youth groups across our movement are marching boldly into the context of need and they're seeing god fulfill his word before their very eyes it's in kansas city missouri the life church pastored by brother stan gleason that something has been awakened in the vindicated youth group there the youth pastor brother sent to meri shares that along with young people being used in the gifts of the spirit recently during a youth service brother santamiri made an appeal asking if there was anybody that needed healing there one young man raised his hand and came to the front and said that he had a physical need and he needed god to touch him brother said to me arie asked his youth group he did not call the pastor he did not call the licensed ministers and we respect them but he called the young people to pray for this healing a few moments later after their prayer they tell me that this young man was miraculously healed of his condition in a midweek youth service because there were teenagers who believed in and exercised and pressed into the promises of god it's here it's here we're living it it's in timberton rhode island that a fire of evangelism has begun to burn and fuse youth ministries recently two sisters tori and annie they've been witnessing in their school and in their local neighborhood in spite of a pandemic they tell me they've also been teaching p7 bible clubs in their neighborhood they've now won three teenage friends and now these three teenage friends are bringing their parents and guardians with them to church it gets better though because of the efforts of tory and annie in the past year a total of 10 young people have been won to the lord and added to their youth group why because some young ladies believe that i've got a promise and if i put in contact with a need something is going to happen like never before we are poised and we are positioned to see the greatest hear me the greatest outpouring of the holy ghost that we have ever seen and you young people you that are watching this service god is calling you forth we've heard the stories of our elders we've heard the tales that they've told us about what god did in their day but most of them would always tag on there an asterisk and say but god is going to use you in a greater way i've come to tell you tonight that that is the moment that we're living in right now and so i appeal to you on this night go link with your pastor link with your spiritual authority and go into the promises go and walk into the prophetic go have visions from god go lay hands on the sick go make disciples in your high school go and be witnesses on your college campus god is calling you on this night to your harvest into your promises he's calling you to fulfill your purpose in the kingdom and i've come to tell you the time is now the place is right where you are and you are the generation and it is time to press into the promises i want you to lift your hands right now where you're standing where you're sitting i want you to begin to pray a prayer surrender and let the lord know that you are available that you have heard the word of the lord you have received what he has said to you and now you're surrendering yourself and you are making a prayer of commitment come on i want you to make a prayer of commitment tonight young people that you will begin to press into the world you're going to maintain holy holiness and separation but you're going to begin to press to where the needs are and because you are willing to do that if you pray that prayer tonight god is going to mightily use you come on that's it one more time let there be a sound to surrender rise in your place where you're viewing this from and make a commitment right now that you will press into the promises of god [Music] i was lost then you found me i was broken and confused but your love is all around me and your mercy it pursues and it was grace that pulled me from the grave [Music] it's your blood that washed my sins away it's your amazing [Music] your amazing love jesus you have saved me with your amazing love it's your amazing grace your amazing grace [Music] jesus you forgave me with your amazing race [Music] i was lost then you found me i was broken and confused but your love [Music] has anybody been pulled from the grave tonight you're amazing it's so amazing it's so amazing grace when i was lost in my sins [Music] you're amazing heaven for my rescue let's face the darkness defeated that [Music] [Music] one more time thank you [Music] [Applause] [Music] our hearts [Music] your hands to the heavens and we say is [Applause] [Music] foreign [Music] defeated thank you thank you jesus put your hands in the room and cry out to the lord in this place [Music] they say these chains will never break but they don't know you like we do there is power in your head we've heard that there is no way through [Music] we've heard the tide will never change [Music] they haven't seen what you can do there is power in your head so much power in your day break the unbreakable god we believe god we believe foreign see a miracle god we believe god we believe away we know that hope is never [Music] god we lost no matter what there is [Music] we [Music] [Music] [Music] will be [Music] [Applause] break the unbreakable god we believe that miracles can take place at the mention of his name he's not finished but he's just getting started he's still moving he's still healing he's still healing cancer he's still healing diabetes god is still able and god is still in control if you believe it i wonder if somebody can allow your faith to rise today and begin to declare it from your mouth god you are more than able you've never lost the battle and you never will so i declare right here and right now my miracle is not on its way it's right here why because you're still moving i said you're still moving you're still able you're still able somebody open up your mouth and declare it in this room come on instead he's still moving he's still proving just how bright he is how great he is [Music] [Music] is [Music] [Music] he is [Music] is [Applause] foreign [Music] is just all right he is [Music] come on you need to throw your hands up wherever you are [Music] from the front to the back wherever you are you need to throw your hands up and make a confession that god is still moving come on in the middle of it all he's still moving in the middle of my hurts in the middle of my pain in the middle of what my family's been going through he's still moving even when i can't see him he's moving come on somebody open up your mouth and make that confession he's moving i said he's moving [Applause] come on he's moving come on somebody get persuaded he's moving i may have gone through a dark valley but he's moving i may have survived some stuff in 2020 but he's still moving i may have almost lost my mind but he's still moving [Music] [Music] the presence of god is surely here [Music] god is doing something special all throughout this wonderful movement i thank god for the united pentecostal church international and our leadership this wonderful upci youth ministries our wonderful general board general superintendent and all of our district officials what a privilege it is to have the opportunity to worship with the family of god how many of you know that we need one another we need one another why don't we open up our bibles to the gospel of matthew the gospel of matthew chapter 16 in verse 13 i'm so thankful for the word of god that we heard by our by our general youth president in the direction and the certain sound that has already gone across this pulpit [Music] what a time to be alive amen gospel of matthew chapter 16 and verse 13. i hear pages still flipping in oklahoma new york new york come on catch up come on florida i know you better than that let's just go ahead and get there matthew chapter 16 verse 13 when jesus came into the coast of caesarea philippi he asked his disciples saying whom do men say that i the son of man am and they said some say that thou art john the baptist some elias and others jeremiah's are one of the prophets he saith unto them but whom say ye that i am simon peter answered and said thou art the christ the son of the living god jesus answered and said unto him blessed art thou simon barjona for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee but my father which is in heaven and i say also unto thee that thou art peter and upon this rock i will build my church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it and i will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven then in charge he is disciples that they should tell no man that he was jesus the christ and from that time forth began jesus to show unto his disciples how that he must go into jerusalem and suffer many things of the elders and chief priests and scribes and be killed and be raised again the third day then peter took him and began to rebuke him say it be far from the lord this shall not be unto thee but he turned and said unto peter get thee behind me satan the heart and offense unto me for thou savers not the things that be of god but those that be of men last scripture verse 24 then said jesus unto his disciples if any man will come after me let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me i want to preach on this subject this evening the second ascent the second ascent why don't you lay your bibles down where you are and close your eyes and lift up your hands and let's ask god to have his way lord jesus i thank you for what you've already done tonight thank you for this wonderful worship team all the singers all across this movement every singer every musician every person working behind the scenes with the media team the sound team god we speak the blessing upon them we speak the anointing upon them even now every young person every young adult every person that has tuned in to this service let the power of god touch them in a mighty way let them leave transformed forever you must increase and we must decrease you are the vine and we are the branches we humble ourselves before you and without you we can do nothing in jesus name amen can you clap your hands to the lord come on with expectation can you clap your hands to the lord hallelujah amen you may be seated in the presence of the lord somebody shout yes somebody shout see somebody shout we don't make me pull my spanish and french out praise god next time next time the second ascent it is very interesting that jesus would bring the disciples into caesarea philippi for this was a place that no jew wanted to travel yet he brings his disciples into this place because there is a question that is burning in his spirit brings them to caesarea philippi no jew wanted to travel there because it was here that they worshipped the false god pan pan was a hegoat a stature a false god that they worshipped that they would sacrifice their children to this false god and jesus brings them into the spot where there were pagan sacrifices having a question burning in his spirit but he wanted to bring them to the right place he didn't want to bring them in the comfort of galilee or the beauty of capernaum no come to caesarea philippi the place where they are offering their children as false as sacrifices for this false god pan they bring them to this cave and they would commit all types of immorality in worship to this false god pan and jesus brings them to this place pan that's where we get the word panic he brings them into this spot to ask the question who do men say that i the son of man am i know you haven't traveled here i know you haven't experienced this type of situation before i know you smell the stench of dead carcass all around you but i got a question does the atmosphere affect how you see me does the culture affect your mind and your view of who i am and what i am i want to bring you into a contrary environment to ask you who am i to you that's what the culture has to say about me does it affect your perception of me am i less than what i really am because of your current predicament and surroundings god brought them into a contrary environment a place filled with death of place filled with sin a face filled with just the ugliness and the filthiness of the world but the question in his mind does this atmosphere affect how you see me or somehow in the middle of a culture that wants nothing to do with me in the middle of a culture that wants nothing to do with god can you still extract out of that culture the proper perception of who jesus is is he still that one god that manifested himself in the flesh is he still that one god that has all power and authority is he still that god that can open up the blinded eyes and unstop the deaf ears come on is he still that god that defies science that defies everything or has the culture caused them to become a demigod to you has the culture calls them to become a diluted version a god that doesn't have all power come on that has to have the situation and the circumstance just perfect in order for him to move but god likes getting glory in contrary environments so there's a lot of people that have given up on your country they've given up on america they've given up on china and russia they've given up on the philippines they've given up on australia they've given up on it and the culture says give up give up give up but god wants to know in the middle of all of this can you still see that i have destined you for a revival and an anointing in this hour oh can you clap your hands where you are i feel the holy ghost moving does the atmosphere affect how you see jesus are you being swayed are you being pulled away from the revelation of jesus christ because of what you see in the world does the pressure get to you and make you change your belief system change what you know about jesus christ and he wanted to know will this pressure push you away from me or will it push you to me who do men say that i the son of man am and they began to do the polls in society well some say john the baptist some say you're elijah or jeremiah or one of the prophets they are coming to human conclusions uh nothing no deity no enthronement no preeminence here when you look at the culture you're going to really get discouraged can god move in this oh lord if you do a survey of the culture you're just going to get discouraged but somewhere jesus had to point a finger in their chest and say but whom do you say that i am does the atmosphere take away your revelation of me or does it push you into a deeper revelation of me and in that contrary environment simon peter answered and said thou art the christ the son of the living god somewhere in that contrary moment it pushed peter into a revelation he ascended into the spirit and got a revelation that he is god that he is in himself the fullness of the godhead bodily that it in him oh lord i feel like preaching in this place ah that in him that he pleased the father ah that in him the fullness should dwell he got a revelation that went to it god was in christ reconciling the world unto himself somewhere he got a revelation that this is a man this is god that has come down in the likeness if there's a revelation that you need to get in this hour is that there's only one god and his name is jesus christ do not allow the world to dilute that this is our message this is our anchor [Applause] he ascended into heavenly heights and he got a revelation in a contrary environment can i tell you your environment at your school is not a hindrance to revival i say your environment at your job isn't a hindrance to you getting a revelation i don't care what your family life looks like nobody can stop you from ascending into the spirit nobody can stop you from cleaving to the doctrine come on nobody can make you backslide your daddy can't make you backslide your mama can't make you backslide this culture come on somebody you need to get a death grip on the revelation [Music] oh the god loves having revelation and revival in contrary environments that is that atmospheric pressure that helps us to see clearly you don't realize it but you you probably you have more than 15 pounds of air pressure uh put on your shoulder right now that is pushing you to the ground and if that pressure were to be relieved you would die so you need the pressure to breathe can i tell you the same pressure that the devil has put on you and your family and on your ministry that you thought was going to destroy you it's the same pressure that is going to push you into a deeper anointing it's going to push you into a greater level it's going to push you into ascend they exiled john they tried to exile john to patmos they put him in isolation he was in isolation before we were in isolation last year in 2020 he was pushed in isolation they banned him they exiled him to the isle of patamus believing that somehow this isolation would take away his revelation of who jesus was they thought he would go crazy because there was nobody in his room nobody near him they put him in an atmosphere to take his revelation from him but while on the isle of patmos he got the book of revelation and it enhanced him into an anointing that he never had before can i tell you the resistance that you're facing in your community is the very resistance that god is going to use to catapult you into an ascent [Applause] somebody clap your hands if you believe that come on i wish somebody would shout if you believe that come on i wish somebody out there would dance if you believe that [Applause] he said it he gives revelation in contrary environments and in the middle of the stench of dead carcasses and all the sinful thing that was all around in caesarea philippi because of that false god pan and how they would worship him with all types of immorality and gore and nastiness somewhere revelation pierced through that environment as he said thou art the christ the son of the living god and jesus answered and said unto him blessed art thou simon berjona can i preach to this movement you're blessed see you see the world's going to try to convince you it's a curse to be apostolic it's a curse to hold on to the revelation of one god it's a curse to believe in the death burial and resurrection of jesus christ it's a curse to repent of your sins be baptized in the name of jesus christ for the remission of those sins and receive the gift of the holy ghost it's a curse to dress holy it's a curse to live holy because i can preach to you right now you're blessed i said this is the greatest life to live this is the greatest hour to live this is the greatest revelation to have you're blessed don't you walk back to your schools with your head down don't you walk back to your job with your head down don't you hide or be ashamed for being apostolic you need to walk back into your city and square your shoulders and walk with the confidence that you have the message the only message that can make a difference you're blessed i say you're blessed i say you're blessed i say you're blessed uh don't fall into the deception that it's a curse somehow you got all these quote unquote limitations on you i'm telling you you're blessed you're blessed that you don't have to wake up in an alley drunk in a place that you don't even know where you are you're blessed that you never had to struggle i'm preaching to somebody you're blessed that you don't have to struggle with addictions and if you did you have been set free by the blood of jesus christ come on somebody you're blind you're blessed that you have an answer for every trouble you're blessed that you have an answer for every heartache you're blessed that you have an answer for every form of depression for every form of anxiety for every form of fear we are blessed [Applause] can i tell you holiness is a blessing oh it's a blessing notice that john the baptist during his time everyone that were uh priests and uh the pharisees the sadducees the chief priests and the scribes and the lawyers at that time they were all wearing robes but john the baptist he's wearing a camel's girdle oh lord i don't know how that looked come on somebody but i do know that it was distinct but notice his distinction did not stop the crowds from coming but rather the crowds ran by the thousands to his come on his distinction was an attraction can i preach to you your holiness is not a repellant it is a sign of revival it is a sign that there is something unique and different [Applause] and you're blessed you're blessed the blessed art thou simon barjona for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto you simon son of jonah you didn't get this revelation from from just your parents you didn't get it you didn't get it from your family uh heritage thank god for the fourth fifth and sixth generation apostolics but you didn't get that revelation because of how it was taught to you somewhere in the middle of the teaching somewhere in the middle of you sitting on your mom and daddy's lap as they begin to rock you to sleep quoting scriptures about the oneness of god somewhere the glory of god pierced through that teaching and a revelation began to come to you come on somebody and you got a revelation that didn't come from man it came from heaven [Applause] he said it was revealed by my father which is in heaven he said and i say also unto thee that thou art peter and upon this rock i will build my church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it he gets the revelation of who god is he gives the revelation of who he is he gets the revelation of what the church is he gets the past the the present and the future all in a single moment and the bible says that god said that the gates of hell shall not prevail against the church he's not just saying that for no reason they are literally at the place where they were sacrificing their children to pan and he brings them into the place the grotto of pan the cave of pan he brings them into that spot and that cave they called it the gates of hades they would sacrifice and throw their children in there and they would commit all types of immorality there and it was called the gates of hades and god pointed a finger in it and he wasn't just talking about in the spirit he was talking about every single spirit he said the gates of hell shall not prevail against the church he was talking about that demonic powers wouldn't progress against the church but he was also talking about every false religion every false ideology everything that the culture would lay at your table it would not overcome the church of the living god and i don't care what new doctrines they're coming out with nothing is going to overwhelm the church [Music] [Applause] he said i'm gonna give you the keys to the kingdom of heaven whatsoever you bound on earth shall be bound in heaven whatsoever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven peter ascended into heights in the spirit that he never had before he ascended into his eyes were just sparkling thinking about the beautiful triumph of the church how great it is how amazing it's going to be the miracles that are going to happen the outpouring of the holy ghost the healings the power of god the gifts of the spirit somehow he got a glimpse in the spirit of the success and the victory of the church that was that initial ascent but then jesus begins to bring a confusing matter into this ascent as he says verse 21 from that time forth began jesus to show unto his disciples how that he must go unto jerusalem and suffer many things of the elders and chief priests and scribes and be killed and be raised again the third day uh he gets the first ascent the ascent of power faith hope and victory but after he gives them that first ascent he reveals to them a second ascent a higher level because now he reveals to them that this second ascent there's going to be a cross and there's going to be unconditional love and peter didn't have a problem with power he had a problem with love then peter took him and began to rebuke him say it be it far from the lord this shall not be unto thee oh god i feel the holy ghost he took him notice he didn't take him out he was talking about having the keys to the kingdom of heaven notice he didn't take him aside when he called him peter but as soon as jesus mentioned that he has to die and he mentioned that sacred ascent the cross but it is the universal symbol of unconditional love peter said stop do you know what they were gonna do to your church you're willing to die for that do you know the type of false doctrines that they're peddling and you're telling me at this place with pam which is the place of panic that you're saying you're gonna die for them they sacrifice their babies i can still hear the cry of dead babies all around us jesus and you're telling me that in order for us to be successful there's going to be unconditional love and a lot of people live christianity dwelling in the first ascent and they never go higher and to the second ascent of unconditional love that's where many bodies are found about everest when you go up mount everest there's so many dead bodies over 300 dead bodies on that mountain and when they die on that mountain the second step is the most difficult step it is that second ascension the first ascension a lot of people accomplish it but they said the second ascension they said the second step it is the rockiest place and you'll find a lot of bodies there that have become landmarks to avoid i'm sorry but there's a lot of spiritually dead people on that mountain they may know miracles they may have seen power they may know about faith but they've never gone to the next level of unconditional love to the world to the broken to the hurting to the wounded to the struggling to the brother to the sister and they just build a tent and build a house on that first ascent and say look i'm apostolic you're not apostolic if you don't have love because when iniquity has abounded he said the love of many shall wax cold he gives the illusion of behaviors being so lawless in the world that your love will wax cold that word wax cold it is alluding to a candle that somehow that candle was supposed to be distinct something that attracted people but somewhere a wind blew by and when that wind blew by that candle waxed cold what winds have blown your way in 2020 where you've lost your love it's the most dangerous place the second ascent because the challenge is you want to be comfortable and stay there because you can build a ministry with the first ascent but you can't build character without the second ascent you can you can do a lot of stuff with the first ascent and a lot of people dwell there but i feel a challenge going forth to this generation that we are going to accept the challenge and go to the second ascent and that's where we're going to love the black we're going to love the white we're going to love the spanish we're going to love the chinese we're going to love the russian we're going to love the australian we're going to love the filipino we're going to love the african we're going to love the egyptian come on somebody we're going to be a voice of love to this entire world oh lift up your hands if you believe that i feel the holy ghost right now i feel somebody is accepting the challenge right now i feel that somebody is wanting to go to another level in the name of the lord jesus christ [Music] hallelujah he took him and began to rebuke him say be far from the lord this shall not be unto thee give me the power give me the anointing give me the glory give me the gifts but don't you dare make me laugh because that's painful do you know how i've been betrayed do you know what they said about me do you know what that community said about my church the hardest thing in my life is loving people that don't love me back verse 23 but he turned and said unto peter get thee behind me satan oh oh lord what do you do when because you can't get a revelation of the cross and unconditional love this is the only time we see god getting offended we talk about in this world a whole lot i'm offended i'm offended what are you doing god looks at us and says i'm offended by how you won't love your brother you won't love the people at your school it's easy to find something wrong it's tough to find god's image in rebellious people because everybody has been made in the image of god and everybody that you don't disagree with their ideologies and what they're going through they're waiting on you can you see his image in the middle of all of that because every culture every nationality reflects the image of god and you cannot see all of god's image in your own cultural group he made it to where we need everybody to see the fullness of his glory that we come up into the full measure of this [Applause] he said get the behind me satan because only satan would convince a church that they could have power without love only satan would convince a church that we can go to another level without a cross and if you believe that we're going to see revival without getting a revelation of god's unconditional love you're deceived because that's the cross that's what the cross is being able to be nailed being able to be mocked being able to be broken and safe forgive them for they know not what they do oh that's a cross when you know you're hearing things and you're walking around as jesus did bloody the people that you came to die for they manipulate they connive they conspire behind your back they're having meetings about you finding ways to destroy you they beat you up they put them on the whipping post no it was more than 39 stripes yes maybe the jews they would adhere to 39 stripes but not the romans the romans were known for going beyond the limit it was more than 39 stripes as they rip the flesh off of his body and he's exposed before everybody yet wow he can't even carry his own cross he's so broken yet in the pain something was screaming out of his lungs i love you and there is nothing you do to me that's gonna make me stop loving you okay they behind me satan thou art a defense to me for you savior it's not the things that be of god but those that be of men then jesus said unto the disciples if any man will come after me let him deny himself take up his cross and follow me he loved the first ascent but it's where we all stumble on the second ascent and that's when god calls us to a cross of unconditional love they asked them what's the first and great commandment they asked them master which is the great commandment of the law matthew 22 and verse 37 jesus said unto him thou shalt love the lord thy god with all thy heart and with all thy soul with all thy mind this is the first and great commandment and the second you got the first ascent we got the revelation come on we got the message but you thought it was going to end there and the second is like unto it thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself this is why god has placed this church in the earth to show his love in a way that they have never seen it before i feel the anointing so strong can you lift up your hands for a moment i'm not done but i want to take a pause here lift up those hands where you are i feel the holy ghost moving hallelujah hallelujah hallelujah praise god in matthew 24 god told the disciples what the last days would look like and he told them in matthew chapter 24 he said that ye shall hear of wars and rumors of war see that ye be not troubled for all these things must come to pass but the end is not yet for nations shall rise against nation and kingdom against kingdom and there shall be famines and pestilence and earthquakes and diverse places all these are the beginning of sorrows listen then they shall they deliver you up to be afflicted and shall kill you and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake you've heard me say it before but in verse 7 it says nation shall rise against nation that word nation the greek word is ethnos which literally means ethnicity he said in the last days ethnicities would rise up against one another the white against the black the black against the white the latino the indian they would be at odds against one another but he said that would be a sign of the world not the church because the church is going to be known by how we have love for one another and it's not wise to take sides here's why it's not wise to take sides look at it he said in this in verse 9 he said you shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake meaning your own race is going to hate you because of your relationship with jesus so the very person you defend is the very person that would curse you because of the message you believe but the church is distinct in this hour because all the way in florida in oklahoma and new york and indiana and illinois and missouri look what we have done tonight we have gathered together of every nation every kindred in every tongue and we are lifting up our hands together and we are worshiping god and we are ascending to heavenly places together this what you're doing right now is what's going to change the world hallelujah oh i hope i'm helping somebody tonight mark chapter 8 mark chapter 8. i want to read this to you mark chapter 8 verse 22 and he cometh to bethsaida and they bring a blind man unto him and besought him to touch him and he took the blind man by by the hand and led him out of the town when he had spit on his eyes and put his hands up upon him he asked him if he saw ought and he looked up and said i see men as trees walking after that he put his hands again upon his eyes and made him look up and he was restored and saw every man clearly with the first touch he saw manish trees he saw the potential of man he saw them tall he saw them with fruit and he saw them with the capability to build that's what you use trees for but potential seeing potential seeing tall seeing strength seeing the ability of fruit and building that's not seeing man but when the second touch came he was restored and he saw every man clearly that's what's happening to the apostolic church there's a second touch there's a second touch where we don't see one another as possibilities for opportunity uh people that we can build our kingdoms on come on our fruit that we can eat up no we see them clearly and i don't care what you look like you're my brother you've been baptized in the name you've received his spirit and i don't care what the world's saying on the outside you're my brother mark mark penned this here right before the next verse where he goes in to the revelation they go to caesarea philippi and theologians and scholars state that he put that story there to show the progressive illumination of the disciples that they see jesus a little bit but after a few more touches they're beginning to see him more clearly and if you only see him with power and the power of the resurrection you have a faulty view of jesus you cannot really see him until you see him in the fellowship of his suffering until you see him on a cross with blood you can't see him without the second ascent last year i'm going to tell you what my challenge is tonight my challenge is to get you to bring this message into a world that's hurting i challenge you to bring this gospel into the highways and the byways tonight many of you are going to receive a call from god to start planning churches in your city you're going to receive a call not to do something in ten years or five years you're going to receive a call to do something about it this week new bible studies are going to start this week this week because the world isn't looking for perfection they're not even looking for power they're looking for love but who is going to go to the second ascent i think everybody stand with me the sake of the sin is a rocky place it's a tough place it's a place that doesn't feel good but if we're going to change the world it's going to be because of unconditional love a love that doesn't place conditions on them we're going to love the buddhists we're going to love the muslim we're going to love every person in this world because that's what jesus is and that's what he does last year in the middle of the unrest that was going on the nation was divided a lot of people were divided and there is a tragedy george floyd the tragedy of george floyd that had the whole world in an uproar on every side he was killed and there were protests taking place that turned very violent and everyone was riled up against one another i didn't know what to do i was praying to god and i was waiting on a release from the lord and he told me to do something but i didn't know what to do and because i didn't know what to do i laid in my bed for six hours and i wept and cried as i saw my country i saw people warring against one another hurting and i wept in my bed i got under the covers i was in the fetal position just weeping and crying literally depressed and finally the lord spoke to me and said victor why don't you go there why don't you go to the place where the chaos is and release my name in the middle of it i'm not asking you victor don't don't go there taking sides no you go in the name of the lord literally i told my wife what we were going to do what i was going to do was going to go by myself earliest flight was from atlanta six hours away because the flights were limited during that time we i went into the prayer room to start praying and the lord said please stop praying and go he said you've been praying for six months about this you've been praying about what to do but now when it's time for action i need you to get out of your prayer room and i need you to do something about it 12 o'clock in the morning i drove six hours to atlanta got there at about 6 30 in the morning took the first flight out got into minneapolis at 10 am got a rental car drove 24 minutes to the spot where the tragedy happened i thought that there would be i went there to pray for police officers i went there to pray for protesters i went there to pray for whoever would listen but i was surprised to see thousands upon thousands of people over there as soon as i got out the car i said hey would you like me to pray for you i said i came from florida he said yes please can you pray for my city right there in the road i would pray for them in the name of jesus god make a way they had tears coming down their eyes pray for doctors i pray for lawyers i pray for denominational pastors and i pray for them and when i went to the spot where the tragedy happened there were thousands upon thousands of flowers there was chinese black indian white every nation that you can think of they were right there and i went to that spot where the tragedy happened and right in the middle of it all i said can i have your attention everybody looked at me i said we're about to have prayer god's god loves you god's hand is here we gathered them i gathered them together people gathered together i said we're gonna pray i prayed i didn't even give him my name but the power of god was there people began to weep after i prayed all i said was look i'm from florida i didn't give him my name i'm from florida i'm from the upci you can visit our website www.upci.org find a church near you you need to repent of your sins you need to be baptized in the name of jesus christ for the remission of those sins and you need to receive the holy ghost you see i didn't go with a general message i went with the only message that video was seen by millions of people and i got testimony after testimony after i left the news stations came to that same spot and they said look it's only peace here they said there wasn't a single riot in this place to last night they said it's only peace here that day they brought a baptistery into the spot that i prayed and they started baptizing people in the name of jesus christ for the remission of sins and that spot three days later they brought another baptistery and scores thousands of people gathered around as they begin to say i now baptize you in the name of jesus christ for the remission of sins and when they came out then they said when they said in jesus name thousands of people in the crowd shouted yes in jesus name [Music] people around the country begin to type in upci.org they found churches near them they received the holy ghost and got baptized that sunday one person the closest upci church she could find was out of state she drove hours out of state and that sunday morning she was born again of the water and of the spirit people all across the world they told me the minneapolis police department contacted me they said hey can you please pray for us one of the homicide detectives contacted me they say please he said please pray for me he said he said i'm hurting i'm broken i'm i'm depressed and i pray for him and he wept over the phone but the most powerful thing wasn't what i did the most powerful thing is what you did you went to the streets you went into city halls can you sing our apostolic songs you saying wait on the lord as you pray for the protesters and the homeless and the police officers i saw you praying for mayors hundreds of churches went into the streets and began to be a light of love at a dark time you cleaned up your cities you cleaned up your cities you had prayer services at city halls if we're gonna reach our world we need that now one testimonial 80 year old woman she saw the video and when she saw it she was an atheist she'd been an atheist her whole life when she saw the video they said she got down on her knees and lifted up her hands and said god i need you to do that for me i'm telling the apostolic church i didn't meet an ounce of resistance in minneapolis so many testimonies have come out of that because they weren't looking for power they were just looking for somebody that would love them i'm issuing that challenge to every person in this movement let us walk in love it's the second ascent we've gone to the first ascent we've done amazing things but we're going to a higher level and we're going to do it together i don't want to i don't want to do it by myself you don't want to do it by yourself but if we join together there's going to be a weighty anointing it's going to change our world i want you to lift up your hands from the front to the back and i want you to make a commitment that i'm going to reach somebody this week i'm going to walk in the love of god no matter what their background is no matter where they came from i want to be the hands and the feet of jesus christ i make a commitment to love i've gone far i've seen miracles i've seen the gifts of the spirit but that's just the first of sin if i can go into the realm of unconditional love the power is going to increase the anointing is going to increase the miracles are going to increase but it's going to be founded on a foundation of love i want to reach my city i want to reach my school you need to talk to your pastor about doing a church plant you need to ask him what you need to do to become a missionary there's young ladies that are going to accept the call and they're going to teach and speak the word with clarity and power you're gonna go across the ocean you're gonna go into the next neighborhood and you're gonna meet that need with love i want you to join with the person near you right now i feel the holy ghost beginning to move right now we're going to a second ascent right now come on i want you to lay your hands on the person next to you from the front to the back and i want you to pray that they would be fueled by the love of god to go in the power of god we're going to pray for the police officers we're going to pray for the protesters we're not here with political ideologies we're coming in the name of love we're slaying giants with a weapon of love we're going in the name of jesus christ come on you need to speak it over them right now somebody's getting a call to the ministry somebody's feeling the heartbeat of god right now i feel a burden beginning to fall on somebody right now there's some kids that need a youth pastor right now there's some kids that needs an evangelist there's a nation that needs a missionary we need to go in the love of god we need to go in the love of god i see you ascending i see you ascending i see us ascending together i see the apostolic church ascending together come on i want you to pray with somebody you need to walk around this building you need to walk around that convention center you need to find
