happy new year to all i know 2020 was tough but i'm so glad that we can start this year in an amazing way and we can learn from god i hope you were blessed with our worship service today uh there's a praise and worship now then it's not yet over of course we have this message and then we're gonna sing some songs in a while but i also wanna greet everyone uh a blessed 2021. i know it was a challenging year maybe for you guys but i hope this year will be something amazing as you encounter more of the lord so why don't we join our hearts again let's just commit this time in a word of prayer as we lift up this youth service this first youth service of the year let's pray father god thank you so much for bringing us together i thank you that today we can hear from your word and this is a brand new year lord we're excited we don't know what's going to happen there's so many questions in our minds and that's why we have this special topic this first service of youth service of the you want things to be cleared we want clarity the title of our topic for today is is let's make things clear and the problem is the truth is we're living in a world right now so that's why this is our title let's make this clear we want to make things clear we want things in this world to be clear but it is start malang dang 2000 2021 there are a lot of things that are not clear for example there's i skipped that the truth is this okay there will be unclear situations in your life in my life we cannot escape that there will be unclear situations god will allow that to happen like what we are experiencing right now right there are unclear situations not just that there will be our unclear statements and as a result of that it's playing with your emotions right statements like a statement but you get what i'm talking about unclear statements uh and also because of these unclear statements sometimes there will be emotions that are unclear right now why am i experiencing this why am i feeling these things why did he say that why did she say that and not just with romantic relationship it can also be with your family members with what your father said what your mother said so there will be unclear situation statements emotions that are unclear why am i feeling this why am i angry why am i like this there will be people with unclear actions or motives there will be people with god's word and god will guide you you want to pursue marriage you read god's word and god will guide you you want to have your own business you read god's word and make it in principles that you need to do the principles here will guide you and help you become successful i'm not saying all of you will become millionaires but i promise you there will be security when you follow god's word that's why look at this passage in psalm 119 105 your word lord is a lamp so whenever i'm moving during their time it was dark you need the lamp when you go from one place to another especially at night your know problem nothing we make our life more complicated because of our decisions i remember before when i was still single graduated from college there's this girl that i was pursuing but the problem is the girl because i committed to the lord lord i'm not going to be enter a relationship while i'm still studying that's my commitment to god so none of the graduate all from college okay i graduated from college i can have a relationship now i can pursue but the problem is the girl that i like was four years younger than me and was still in college so when i started have this feel these feelings for this girl and started pursuing this girl it became complicated why i hid it not a lot of people know about the relationship even my parents they know that i like this girl but they didn't know that we were dating we were going out in fact we were going to places to i think to a mall that i know not a lot of my friends knows or not a lot of them will go there so i was deceiving them i was deceiving people it was complicated it was a roller coaster relationship up and down up and down kamehameha we break eventually god uh cut it off we had to break off the relationship and by god's grace i learned but guess what happened there was after a few years after that a few years after that there was another girl that i started to like who was again four years or maybe five years younger than me last communications but anyway so then it starts again on communicating with this girl uh chatting almost every day until the wee hours of the morning i mean then right so but then alamo clear not clear telling god was bothering my heart and it's as if he was telling me marty you know what happened last time you had a relationship right you know that didn't work out the girl is still studying and it's the same situation that the girl was also still studying but i started liking this girls very clear not clear by god's grace i learned from the past you see our problem sometimes we make past as our excuse to repeat the same mistakes we make our past as an excuse to make the same mistakes look at this treat your past as a lesson to learn from not as a model to follow treat your past as a lesson to learn from not as a model to follow amen and look at this don't make your pass or listen to this don't make your past failures as an excuse to make the same mistakes because that's our problem i learned from it is from god i only lord don't make your life complicated that's why obedience to the lord makes things clearer and disobedience on the other hand makes things more unclear and it's problema sometimes the consequences will stay for a lifetime siguro your past mistakes the consequences only stayed for a little bit maybe a few years maybe a month maybe weeks that's good god is gracious god can turn our mistakes into you know a blessing eventually for us to learn for us to grow but the more we keep on doing the same mistakes the consequences might be for a lifetime for some people they end up in a wrong relationship and as a result of that they end up hurting one another and hurting their children for some people they end up getting sick and they're terminally ill because of wrong decisions for some people they don't graduate anymore because of wrong decisions for some people they rebel they rebel against their parents against other people and as a result of that they don't have a sense of family they're empty they're lost for some they commit suicide you see that's why god wants us to obey one step at a time he doesn't reveal everything i think here's the problem if we if god reveals everything feeling nothing i don't need god anymore you gave me all of those things god wants us to depend one step at a time because what's our message he is a promise keeper that's why we listen to god because it makes things clearer we obey god because it makes things clear he is a promise keeper we're living in a world that is so unclear that's things seem unclear remember god is a promise keeper let's go back to the story so what happened in genesis chapter 15 verse 7 he said to him and he's having the lord i am the lord the father the to be a great nation and if you're going to be a great nation you need a lot of people and you need the land walanga to be its own land so god is saying this land where you are standing right now i'm college what's going to be my process it's unclear what is the next step what are you gonna do in my life but that's why in this process god wants us to depend on him listening to god makes things clearer obedience to god makes things clear and dependence on god makes things clearer yes there's a process and sometimes a lot of times the process is not that clear but that's why we keep listening for you guys let's pray father thank you so much for your message to all of us 2020 was tough lord in 2021 it seems it's gonna be tougher maybe hopefully not but we don't know but lord every time there are certain things that are unclear in our lives our families with our direction our future with this world every time there's something unclear you remind us of who you are you remind us of your promises because you want us to listen you want us to obey and you want us to depend we don't know lord what's going to happen really but we do know that you love us we do know that you promise a bright future for your children and that's why we humble ourselves asking for your forgiveness and asking you lord please help us always remember that you're a promise keeper lord i pray also for some of the people listening here maybe they don't have that relationship with you yet i pray that today will be the start of their relationship with you that they will humble themselves receive you in
